There’s no way they’re actually fighting…unless?
How ironic would it be that the person Criston trained so well will now use those skills against him?
Imagine this was actually foreshadowing:

Chapter 1 - The Night
Present
It was a sunny day in Seoul as you happily drove to the grocery store not far from your home. You were excited to cook a quiet dinner for you and your boyfriend; you have been looking forward to this night for over a week. You have some big news to share with him. He’s been gone for so long completing his overseas schedule - and the thought of having him home and close to you gives you butterflies in your stomach.
After an hour of dinner preparation, you head to your bathroom and turn on the tap to run a bath. After which, you immerse yourself in and relax. You think about how your boyfriend will react to the news; Would he be happy? Would he be surprised?
Nevertheless, his response would be something you are anxious about. Sighing, you step out of your bathtub, wrap yourself in a bathrobe, and step into your shared bedroom.
You hear the door close at the moment, indicating your boyfriend has reached home. You dress up in your comfy outfit and head out to the hall. "Babe, how was your trip?" You see him sitting on the sofa, and he turns around. His gaze meets yours, and you notice instead of being welcomed with a warm-dimpled smile, you meet with a distressed look on his face. You sit next to him and ask, "Joon, what's wrong? Is everything alright?" He looks unreadably and says, "Nothing, just company things." "Umm, if you want to talk about it, please don't hesitate." He replies, "No, you won't because it's kind of complicated, and it is related to us. Don't worry, I'll figure it out".
"Wait, don't you think we should talk about it if it includes me?" This time Namjoon replies with a bit of aggression in his voice, "No, you're not supposed to get in between matters that involve the company and me."
His reply comes like a shock to you. You never thought he'd talk aggressively to you.
"What? Say that again. Did I hear it right?"
"Oh! Yes, you did! I said that you don't have to interfere with these matters. Do you understand that!" You look at him as he glares at you, fuming in anger. You are at a loss for words as you don't know where his outrage comes from.
But you don't let this slip easily, "Okay, so tell me, why shouldn't I interfere with it?" "It's because you're a bloody hindrance between the company and me!"
You stand frozen with a tear rolling down your cheek. Out of all the possible reasons you had in mind, you never thought this would be the reason. More tears roll down. "Fine! If you think that I'm a hindrance between both of you. Whatever the reason, I'm not quitting my job because I love it, and it pays me well. So, it's your turn to sort out your issue. Till then, I think it's better we don't talk until it's an emergency. And by an emergency, I mean - work. I'm leaving now, eat dinner, and I hope you sleep well, Namjoon."
You head to your shared bedroom, take out your suitcase and start packing. After packing, you place your bag at the doorway and head to the kitchen to eat the meal you had cooked for this evening. As you eat, you see the light of his studio switched on, but you don't bother to enter because he hurt you.
You wash your plate, keep it on the drying rack and head out to your nearby apartment. Today was the night when you wanted to share your happiness with your boyfriend because it was a new milestone for you and certainly would mean a lot to him too.
You compose yourself and drive home with pain in your heart.

“Jin-hyung.”
Seokjin freezes at the sound of that voice.
“I didn’t know where else to go.”
Kim Taehyung.
“I’m sorry.”
Even a month ago, those words, from this man, would have meant something. Jin doesn’t know if they possibly can now, not after everything Taehyung has done in the last few months to make himself the target of a citywide manhunt.

Are any BTS fan fic writers out there that love horror|thriller|slasher|gory| or suspense movies or writing those genres?
I am just curious and also looking for y’all for a collaborative project possibly. Or just a collective timeline for an idea for writers of this genre to come together for an event. I think it’s a great idea and want to organize it. But only if there is an interest.

You loved your daughter, you truly did. Nari was your heart and soul, the reason you got up in the morning. But lately, she’s been acting. . . odd.
You’d just moved into a new apartment with your four year old; it was a nice place, affordable, and close to your work and Nari’s pre-school. It was the perfect place, you couldn’t believe your luck! But once you moved in and got all settled, that was when Nari started behaving strangely.
She’d begun to spend an ungodly amount of time in the bathroom. She would go into the hallway bathroom, climb into the tub and start playing with her toys and talk. At first you had just assumed it was just a new little game she’d made up by herself. But one day you decided to listen in more closely to what exactly she was saying in there, and it didn’t sound anything like her ridiculous plots she’d made up with her Barbie dolls. It sounded more like conversation, like she was talking to someone.
Curious, you peaked in, trying to see what she was doing. All you saw was Nari, sitting in the tub, talking to the air as she played with her doll. Just an imaginary friend, you supposed. But this didn’t feel like it was any imaginary friend, the way she was talking to it felt too. . . grounded.
“Who are you talking to over there, Angel Face?”
“Jimin,” she answered with a giggle. “He lives here with us. He says hi!”
You blinked at your daughter’s words. He lives here? Not wanting to crush your girl’s imagination, you go along with it. “Well, if he lives here, I expect rent,” you chuckled. “But come on, Nari. Time for dinner.”
“Okay. Bye Jimin,” she said as she climbed out of the tub. She was almost towards you when she stopped, turning back to look at the tiled wall. She was quiet for a moment before letting out a huff. “Okay, I will.” Then she joined you as the two of you walked back towards the kitchen.
“What did Jimin say, sweetie?”
“He said to eat all my veggies,” she sighed as she climbed onto her chair at the table.
“Hmm, I like this Jimin already.”
A few days later, you picked up Nari from pre-school, who ecstatically jumped into the backseat. “We gotta go home! I got something to show to Jimin!”
“What do you mean? Doesn’t Jimin hang out with you outside of the house?”
“No, he stays in the bathroom. He can’t leave.”
You frowned at that. It had been years since you’ve had an imaginary friend, but from what you remember, they were confined ever to a single place. They followed you everywhere, because they were imaginary. In your head. They could do whatever they wanted.
“Okay. . .” You said, as you started driving in the direction of the house. “What is it that you wanna show him?”
“I drew him! Lemme show you!” Nari leaned over in her carseat to grab her bag, digging around in it for the drawing. “Here!”
You waited until you were at a red light to glance behind you, taking the paper in your hands. It looked like any old drawing by a four year old, Nari was an artist but her art looked more closer to Picasso’s art towards the end of his life. There was an assortment of small scribbles of color that were easily recognizable as your daughter, and beside her was what you assumed to be Jimin. You didn’t know what to expect him to look like, but certainly not so. . . human. He had what you assumed to be tan skin and was wearing just a white and red tank top and dark colored shorts. Dark hair clung to his head and there were a lot of blue dots around him. He looked like an adult. Definitely not what you’d expect an imaginary friend to look like.
“It’s very good, Nari,” you said as you handed the drawing back to her. “What’s all the blue around him? Is he a sparkle fairy or something?” Please say yes, please say he’s a sparkle fairy.
“It’s water. He’s always wet. He won’t tell me why.”
“Oh. . . okay. . .” You said as the light turned green.
The rest of the drive, Nari prattled on about Jimin, saying more things about him that didn’t feel right. Apparently Jimin didn’t like talking too much about his own friends and family, but he liked dancing, was allergic to cats, and only lived in the bathroom.
“Yeah, I tried asking him if he wanted to play with my hot wheels in my room, but he said he can’t leave the bathroom. So I brought my hot wheels to him!”
Parking the car, you turned over in your seat to look at Nari. You didn’t know what it was, but something about the fact that her imaginary friend was an adult that lived in her bathroom made you feel nauseous.
“Sweetie, I want you to listen carefully to me okay?” She nodded. “I don’t want you to talk to Jimin anymore.”
Her face fell, devastated. “But mommy-!”
“I want you to use my bathroom from now on. Do not go into the bathroom, do not talk to Jimin. If he talks to you, I want you to say that mommy doesn’t want you talking to him anymore. Okay?” You asked your daughter, looking at her sternly.
Sticking out her lower lip in a pout, she complied, nodding her head.
You took the drawing from her too, you hated the way she cried but you knew it was for her own good. Thankfully, Nari listened to you and didn’t go near the bathroom the entire rest of the day (on sending a few sorrowful looks at the closed door as she walked past it).
“Mommy, why can’t I talk to Jimin anymore?” She asked in a soft voice as you tucked her in for bed.
You gnawed on your lower lip, racking your brain for a convincing reason to say other than ‘Jimin gives mommy the heebiejeebies’? “Well you see, Angel Face, mommy doesn’t know Jimin. And if he lives in our home, that doesn’t make mommy feel that good.”
“But Jimin is nice! Talk to him! You’ll see! He’s nice!”
Not wanting to argue with Nari, you nodded your head. “Alright, I’ll talk to Jimin. Okay?”
“Okay,” she beamed up at you, happy you agreed.
Leaning forward, you pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Good night, sweetheart.”
“Night night, mommy.”
Pushing yourself up, you made your way over towards the door. “Dream of Sleeping Beauty,” you said as you shut off the light, closing the door behind you.
You walked down the hallway, wanting to have a glass of wine before you in turn went to bed. But as you passed by the bathroom door, you stuttered in your steps. Despite telling Nari you would ‘talk’ to Jimin, you had no intentions of doing so. You didn’t want to talk to nothing and feel ridiculous, for one. Two, you didn’t want that sick nauseating feeling to be validated. No, you’d rather ignore it until it went away and Nari forgot about Jimin all together. But a little voice in the back of your mind told you Nari wouldn’t just let go of this imaginary friend, and you shouldn’t just ignore that feeling.
But ignorance was bliss and right now, you would choose that over confronting whatever might reside in your daughter’s bathroom.
You poured yourself a glass of wine and turned on the TV, turning to some trashy reality show, wanting to fill your mind with mindless television to get rid of the sickening feeling that bathroom gave you.
You were about halfway through your second glass of wine and third episode of the show when you heard something. Pausing the TV, you listened a bit closely. It sounded like running water. Turning your head over to the kitchen, you could see that the sink was off. Glass still in hand, you headed towards your bedroom to check your own bathroom, but as you passed the hallway bathroom, the sound of rushing water only grew louder.
Fuck.
Placing your hand on the handle, you took a deep breath as you opened the door. Sure enough, the sink was on. Flicking on the light, you walked over to the counter, ignoring how cold the room was, and stared down at the faucet as water just came rushing and rushing. Reaching out your hand, you slowly shut it off. Silence now filling your home once again.
Keeping your eyes focused on the sink, you took a large gulp of your wine, swallowing down the bitter liquid, then set the glass down on the counter. Your eyes moved up to the mirror to take in your own reflection; you looked the same as you did this morning. Just as you feel a teeny bit of relief flooding through you, you see him, standing behind you. A figure of a man standing only a bit taller than you, wet dark hair clinging to the skin of his forehead, and dark brown- nearly black staring back at you.
You spin around on your feet, knocking over your wine glass. But there’s no one there, you’re alone in the bathroom.
You ran your fingers through your hair, feeling like you were going crazy.
That couldn’t have been Jimin. . . could it?
“Shit,” you hissed as you turned your attention down to the ground, red wine and broken glass all over the floor. Getting down on your knees, you began to pick up the larger pieces of glass, setting them up on the counter. You went to grab a towel to sop up the remaining wine and the smaller pieces of glass. But as you stood up, you saw him in the corner of the room. This time you were sure of it.
It was Jimin.
You took in the full sight of him in the mirror. His skin, what was once probably a golden tan, looked near grey, soaked to the bone. He was wearing a white shirt that looked more see-through than white. Then you noticed it, the blood that was dripping down his hands and seeping in through the sides of his shirt
This was the man your daughter was your daughter’s imaginary friend?
You wanted to scream, to run and grab your daughter and get away. Far far away from the apartment and this bathroom. But you were overwhelmed with sadness, complete and utter hopelessness. These emotions were not your own, but you could recognize them in a heartbeat. Swallowing your fear, you met Jimin’s eyes. Tears ran down his cheeks, mixing with the water that dripped down from him.
Before you could open your mouth to speak, he was gone in the blink of an eye. The blood and water that had dripped to the floor from him, gone. As if it was never there.
Taking a shuddering breath, you steadied yourself, before leaving the bathroom, closing the door behind you. To hell with cleaning up the remainder of the glass, you could do that in the morning. Right now, all you wanted to do was to hold your daughter.

in the heart of the light - jesspava (cyclical)
Kim Namjoon x Jung Hoseok (Namseok)
Implied Kim Seokjin x Min Yoongi (Yoonjin)
Rated : T
Wordcount : 13k (one-shot)
Genre : Action | Military AU
WARNING : GRAPHIC DEPICTION OF VIOLENCE
Description : Hoseok doesn’t hide the way pain crosses his face. “You’re going to cite our non-fraternization policy at me, aren’t you?” he says. “Yessir.” “God,” he laughs, bitter. “I hate how well I know you.” (military AU inspired by descendants of the sun)
Angel's review : I've never seen descendants of the sun (yes, you can sue me '''^_^) but this fanfiction is worth the read ! Both Hoseok and Namjoon are so in love with each other but blinded by their pride it is annoying (but still a delight to read). I loved the different points of view from characters outside of the (ex) Namseok relationship such as Jungkook's. AND THE ACTION !!! Oh my--you are not ready for this. It is so immersive, really detailed and well-written (without any kind of body horror). You'll love and admire every character in this fanfiction (especially Yoongi !). Finally, we have a mysterious, cold and serious Hoseok and for the rarity of it you must read this !

the vibe im getting from FHJY is that this is the season where they really lean into the high school aspect. that probably sounds bonkers since its called Fantasy High, but like. hear me out.
Freshman year, they come at high school from the "John Hughes" "80s teen movie trope" vibe, which is to say different from the real-world experience of high school.
it works great! operating in that frame of reference makes everything flow really well, and hits all the high-school-related-media notes in a very satisfying way while putting its own spin on it and not getting bogged down by the actual slog that is high school in reality.
there's still a lot of more modern inspo, but it stays in the kinda expectation-suspension-tropey area of how 80s movie high school works.
Sophomore year is spring break! I believe in you! They're not at school! They're on an adventure!
They lean into being a teenager and coming-of-age themes a lot (obvs), but the only big reference point to the institution of high school is that it'll be worth 60% of their grade.
A huge point, to be sure, and the exact kind of objectively unfair but somehow not against the rules shit that happens in high school, but not the main driving force of the season.
arthur aguefort also does a bunch of wack shit but it's more fantasy than it is high school although its a lot of both.
they lean into adventuring as a set career path much more, with the school giving money for hirelings and offering a basic incentive for other students to go, so that's a loose connection to the real-world career counseling high schools have, but again, not the main thing.
VERY Important though: we are now very much in the present. The viral shrimp party, livestreaming Kalina, online banking, the epic of Gorgug building a cell tower? this isn't john hughes 80s town anymore, this is now. (at least in Solace).
Junior year
almost everything in the trailer is about academia
we've got the cool doodles-in-the-margins style art and intro
in the interviews and BTS (so far), the cast have talked a lot about what they were like in high school (not the 80s)
and the precedent that The Seven set where the MacGuffin was getting their GED? It's time.
we're getting into what is actually hell about high school - the institution itself. the arbitrary standards that academia in the US holds, and how it leaves behind, punishes, and fails its students in its extremely important role of preparing them for life as an adult.
i could talk about this all day, but personally for me the quote from the trailer that shot me back to my junior year of high school was "You have perfect grades, and it still might not be enough for you to graduate"
riz's arc this season is shaping up to punch me in the academia trauma and personally i can't wait for the catharsis
Brennan has shown time and time again that he Gets and wants to tell stories about the ways in which the US education system affects, hurts, shapes, traumatizes, changes people, and how they survive and recover from it and make their own lives. I for one am so so ready to see that reflected with the bad kids.
