i wasn't gonna tall about it but since it's relevant now i will say it just for general peace of mind. and i ask you to not post this on twitter please and thank you
the group ( and yes i say GROUP because it was various people who pushed it ) that really badly wants to accuse awesamdude of "stealing" minecraft designs, are well known for stirring up shit like this all the time in discord servers and whatnot
generally amongst the minecraft creator populace ( not video creator, but builders and modders ), it is perceived as a bad thing to attempt to claim ownership of an idea, a piece of code, a block palette, or a block pattern. specific structures and maps of course are okay to claim as your own. this group however thinks they own a redstone door setup
we jokingly call them the anti-tutorials because of a certain comment made trying to defend this gatekeeping, when someone chimed in and said "if i'm doing a showcase video i don't want someone using it as a tutorial". but that has always and forever been the basis of minecraft, to see and recreate, it's part of the game
nobody on the large scale mc community thinks badly of sam. especially the mcprison people, they really like what he did with pandora and how much it popularised the genre. he is just being poked at by well know bad actors. they will find something new to complain next week, it'll pass

(Post fall) Ancient builder x Illager toxic old man yaoi when
WIP, was planning on doing a ref for every human race but a mutual of mine practically begged me to post these two on their own so you’re probably gonna see this image again. Colors are not yet where I want them to be so I’ll definitely go over it a few more times.
I’d like to take this moment to point out that the way you summon allays in legends, where you play as an ancient builder, is pretty similar to the way evokers summon vexes.
Design / AU rant below cut, as always.
This one’s a little worse written than usual, I’m just rambling.
I practically have an infinite amount of Ancient builder designs because I draw them differently with every piece depending on how I’m feeling, but for this design I got more genuinely speculative and turned on my pattern recognition.
Steve and Alex are canonically 6’2, both of them, and all undead mobs seem to be the same height, if not taller than they are, so I made them average around 6’5. To add to that, all undead builder mobs either don’t have eyes or have solid coloured glowing ones, so I went with the latter.
Minecraft isn’t a stranger to making lifeforms appearances change drastically depending on circumstance, this render is of an Ancient builder post wither attack, around ancient city time, which meant I could adopt the idea the devs mentioned about villagers/illagers, of human skin turning desaturated if they stay out of the sun for long enough, which, if the single generation of Illagers already show signs of I bet the god knows how many decade long underground escapades of the builders probably hit ‘em hard with that trait.
I also for the longest time for some reason forgot cosmetics were very likely a thing, so they’ve got some protection spells and luck enchantments tattooed, both of them do. Doesn’t work very well, as one can probably guess. But they’re superstitious so it felt in character enough.
For the post wither attack Ancient builders I also tend to think of them as more frail, not only because they had no access to their former overworld food supplies and had to rely on the little stuff that did grow in complete lack of sunlight underground, which definitely wasn’t a lot, but also because beyond the military force that did seem to remain from the nether war (ancient city structure name: Barracks, disk 5 marching.) they definitely were no longer strong enough to properly defend themselves against the wither or the warden/mourner on their own accord.
And because they were cowards and skedaddled when the overworld was in danger AND got beat up by the piglin despite being the main kingdom in power which I just find really funny. So think tall and boney but hiding it under a lot of clothing layers to still appear strong. Definitely can’t put on armor anymore though, that back would snap like a twig.
When it comes to the robes I used some of my older armor template designs for reference, made them black and blue to fit the most well known ancient builder sprite as well as vaguely match the one of the evoker. Because, oh well, you caught me, I do believe the cargo cult theory. Got my own interpretation but I’ll leave it at that till the next bestiary entry.
I generally want the villagers to look more varied, and human, while the builders, both neo and ancient, look more unsettling, as if they’re clearly a person, but something just looks, or moves wrong. They’re too symmetrical. Too far removed from what once was flawed but sincerely their own.
A lot of villager beauty standards are inspired by medieval-renaissance era Europe, like for an example having a larger visible forehead and appearing more boxy in shape being seen as more visually appealing, I think despite the illagers trying to subvert that they do still live in a society, so having grown accustomed to it as children they probably still at-least somehow adhere to the beauty standards they know, whether consciously or not.
They perform similar experiments on themselves as the builders, they’re just ever so slightly worse at it, as they haven’t been doing it for as long, so it leaves marks like scarring or visible stitching, though I believe they wear these with pride.
There’s gonna be a dedicated post about them at some point, as I said so I don’t know how much of my design I want to pick apart for now, but I’ll just leave it at that for now.
Here’s some alternative versions.
#minecraft#minecraft lore#minecraft theory#minecraft art#artists on tumblr#fanart#mineblr#minecraft au#artwork#concept art#minecraft ancient builders#minecraft illager#minecraft evoker#illager#they’re bad and they make each other worse#dude it’s 3:33am I can’t do this#I wanna see them make out#the Minecraft theory fandom needs a manwhore au#somebody make that#i’m begging

₊˚⊹⋆ Howdy there! It’s finally time for Sandrock's final release yay ₊˚⊹⋆
To celebrate this special occasion Sandara pulled off her jewelry making skills to prepare some unique rings for every sandrocker who wishes to propose to their soulmate ! So without further, here's a little story behind each design,
Qi - Sended an intriguing blueprint to Sandara with complex symbols and diagrams…He assured her that it meant something important to his soulmate so she craved the coded message in precious silver with care. Even if she didn’t get Qi special love language as usual she was sure his loved one would get it ;)
Owen - Our favorite bartender showed an intricate design to Sandara, a delicate pattern almost the same as his own parents' engagement ring. Like the gilding flowers on the cover of a fine book he wished to give his lover the beginning of the story they were about to write together in this life.
Fang - The swan holding a special meaning to him Fang requested Sandara to make his ring the shape of that gracious animal to seal his promise to love and cherish his dearest one forever.
Ernest - Came by with this big and expensive pearl that got a special meaning to him asking Sandara if she could add it to his ring. The pearl symbol of his loyalty and love was carefully placed on the gold ring, the initials of his name and his lover one engraved on the inside.
Pablo - He made a special request to Sandara in search of the most colorful metal they could find for his ring in which bismuth mineral was perfect! Showing how bright and full of all the colors of this world his love was for his chosen one.
Arvio - Insisting on getting the most fine materials Arvio asked for a special ring. He showed Sandara a rare sand flower from Baranarok symbolizing hope and renewal inspiring the shape of that jewel meant to bond him and his other half forever.
Miguel - Requested a rather simple but very elegant ring, made with pale gold with a single diamond to show the purity of his love for his chosen one.
Burgess - Asked for something extra special to convey all his will to live in happiness and kindness with his soulmate. The yellow diamond he chose shining in the center of his ring radiating like the sun all his love.
Pen - In secret Pen demanded the most powerful ring Sandara could make to give his special one great strength and power he’s all for. However he never delivered it himself…
Unsuur - While admiring his collection Unsuur couldn't choose which gem was more fitting so he brought them all to Sandara to make a special ring! (even adding a few shards Wilson lost to make the base of his special ring ;)
Justice - Wanted a pretty ring that still felt like him so Sandara took great care at bringing out Justice strong will and honesty toward his most precious one with this silver and copper ring.
Logan - The only one Sandara didn’t made because well Logan made it himself for his special one! On late hunt nights he sat by the fire and carefully carved this ring in bones with the will to give his loved one something he made with all his heart.
This isn’t much but I hope everyone will have much fun playing and living wonderful adventures with Sandrockers friendly as romantic ones ! As I used to study jewelry making it was very much fun to do and fitting hc that Sandara would make them for the town folks !
It’s been already one year that I have being in this fandom and so so grateful for everything it brought me and the wonderful people it allowed me to meet ♡
I’m currently working on the girl next and some custom ones for my fellow builders who helped me with the designs ◇
₊˚⊹⋆ Happy Sandrock day ! Wish you all the best and see you soon to continue this journey together ₊˚⊹⋆

January Check In
Hello, all!
Happy update day, catfolk! We apologize for the late update, but we wanted to share the Beta dates with you in this update. We took extra time to ensure the dates were accurate without risking something not being ready in time or causing burnout for our team. We’ve done quite a bit of internal assessment on the pros and cons of letting ~2,000+ people into the game.
Our most pressing thought was how to reconcile needing to continue working on key features while getting valuable feedback and play data on all that we already have. There was a lot to consider, in reputation, timeline, and team morale. We did not want to give the wrong impression that we felt anywhere close to a done game, but we have a lot of high fidelity mechanics and playability to share which need high population testing regardless. We’ve finally settled on rolling our sleeves up and opening to testers. At the start, we’ll provide a comprehensive breakdown of everything we’re planning to add over the months of the test, and continue our monthly check-ins on our progress. We’re ready to grind, and we hope you are too! And in many ways, it will be much nicer to get the comprehensive mass testing whenever we have something new to roll out!
We hope you will all agree that this update was worth the wait, as we have exciting news to share with you today, along with our most exciting news yet! :)
Accessory Progress
We are proud to announce that we have 47 unique accessories, altogether with 564 color variations.
We have just about reached the edge of our odyssey in the first production run of accessories. After 8 months of practice and training for our fledgling team, we’ve improved immensely at our pipeline. What has previously taken us months now takes a matter of weeks. We have one more backer accessory to develop, and any additions in the near future will be small, simplistic items in comparison to our full sets, but I’m very proud of the team for how far we’ve come, and the marvel of quality they produce in good time.
This month’s new progress includes:
Frog Friends
Illustration by Remmie, sponsored by Hag
Protogear Recolors
Recolors by Emma
New decor
We’ve also been busy with decors.
Argh, matey!
Macaws by Jersopod, cannon, barrel and newspaper stack by Giulia and Remmie
In addition, style compliant sketches of the original rose decor!
Sketches by Remmie
Archetypes
We’re here to introduce a very exciting mechanic that has been in the works since our initial overhaul. It’s one of my personal favorite concepts, and the primary motivation behind how we’ve structured the cat design system.
Introducing… cat archetypes!
Archetypes are a specific combination of traits which, when fulfilled, mark the cat’s profile with a badge and reward the user as an achievement fulfillment. (If the cat’s traits are changed, the badge will be removed. Cats may fulfill multiple Archetypes simultaneously.)
For example, this badge means the cat fulfills the Ruby archetype, a badge which requires the cat to have the color Ruby in all slots.
Examples of the Ruby archetype include:

To give examples of the specificity, other Archetypes include for example “Leopard,” which must have the following to comply:
A Yellow range Leopard overcoat
Light Greyscale or Light Yellow undercoat
Yellow or Greyscale Claws
None for the second accent
Here are some Leopards!

Owning these cats will give the user rewards, sometimes completely custom to the Archetype.
What we hope to achieve with this system is a greater incentive to think creatively within the restrictions of our cat builder, and to reward our players for intentioned play in collecting, breeding, and designing a variety of cats. After all, it is the core of the game!
And with each new addition of colors or patterns, we’ll release an onslaught of new Archetypes! We plan to introduce a healthy amount of them, some easy to get, and some harder depending on genetic obtainability and the obtainment method.
This system is already up and running on our servers, and is in its infancy. We’ll get a lot of data from testing it out!
Originally, this system was on the backburner while we focused on bigger picture mechanics, but we’ve fast tracked it so we can bolster and better encourage casual play while the Guild system is still in its preliminary beta state.
Pelt System
Perhaps the feature we are most excited to see in use and tested is the Pelt System, which we briefly introduced in the 2024 November Check In. There is a frankly insane amount of functionality behind this feature, which includes autonomous user decision and interaction every step of the way.
First, we were able to implement dynamic layering. This means that Unclipped (top layer) pelts can actually sport layers which are placed behind the cat automatically. Valuable uses for this feature include the inside of sleeves, backs of hoods, and items which you would otherwise always want to go behind anything it’s stacked above.
Users can view their pelts already submitted, see their submission progress, choose to submit more to the pelt, choose to print their pelt themselves, choose to list pelts for buyers to print on demand, and view their pelts on any cat.
There is also a draft system which allows users to store information they aren’t ready to submit yet.
Users can list pelts as a print-on-demand resource, and are able to control how many copies they will allow to be printed.
All prints will require a tax which will be dependent on the coverage %, calculated based on the amount of pixels that cover the canvas. This means that small pelts, like a hat or a monocle, will take only a small tax!
AND we have a rudimentary tagging system going as we experiment with this feature! Big news! Once we iron out the kinks, we’ll be able to roll out user filtering and tagging of other content, such as cats or forum posts.
And drumroll please…
As teased at the beginning of this update, we are overjoyed to announce the Closed Beta dates! Early access launches on February 3rd, with the regular Closed Beta starting on February 6th!
During the Closed Beta, you’ll have the chance to experience many new and polished gameplay features, exciting customization options, and the now refined economy! We encourage all testers to not only find any potential bugs and ui improvements, but also to provide feedback and suggestions on all of our game features and our economy!
All 253 Early Beta, 1940 Beta and Kickstarter codes have been generated, and we will begin sending them out shortly over the next day.
In the coming week, we’ll put out writings on our expectations early on and the features roadmap that we’re currently staring at. We can’t wait to see you all in Kotemara soon!
To summarize: We shared decors, Protogear recoloring, Frog Friends, pelt system showcase, archetypes and closed Beta dates.
What to expect next month: Further asset and development updates. Check-ins for how closed Beta will be going.

Yeah I draw this guy a lot but I thought it was time i put together my take on him in a more Coherent way. Lots of design notes/lore/hc stuff under the cut.
-> Usually dragons Riyu’s age are more lanky, but between ninja training and his unconventional diet (he eats So much human(oid) food lol. Probably a v different meat-to-everything-else ratio than a typical mtn dragon has), he has put on a lot of muscle and fat. He’s built like the dragon equivalent of a pro body builder it’s so funny i love him
-> Mtn dragons have relatively long wings as far as dragons go. Their wingtips naturally are deeply notched as well. These adaptations are good for passive soaring without sacrificing much maneuverability; two things that are important for living, traveling, and hunting in their home mountain ranges.
-> My idea for a scarification tradition in mtn dragon communities 🎉 patterns associated with clan or group carved/burned into the keratin of tail clubs:

This is most done by older or higher ranking members of a clan or family, to teen dragons as a coming of age thing. It is also done at any age to show allegiance to groups/causes/etc not directly affiliated with birth clan/family. It is done with sharp tools heated over a fire, or simply with a claw charged with the carver’s own powers/energy in order to the burn patterns.
Keratin is the same material that makes up fingernails, hooves, and the sheaths on horns of many irl animals. I imagine the keratin layer on mtn dragons’ tail clubs is very thick. So, done correctly, the process isn’t painful (mildly painful at worst) but can be uncomfortable. Since the layer continues to grow and repair itself throughout a mtn dragon’s life, the ritual needs to be repeated occasionally over the years lest the patterns fade/fill with time. Riyu had his club engraved for the first time during the time skip between drs1-2.
Mtn dragons will also have symbols or patterns added to their tail clubs throughout their lives that represent affiliations to causes, other groups, accomplishments, their interests, etc. Riyu has a ninjargon “R” because having something in a ninjagan human script represents his association with, and status as, a ninja. Also I based his clan markings off one of the shapes on his Matriarch’s crown.
-> Accessories time 🎉🎉🎉:
Carry bag: he doesn’t have pockets… he needs pockets… give him pockets. And bags (there is a bag on each shoulder). He’s got a couple of these but the green one is his favorite.
Glove-shoes: Riyu walks on his hands, but also uses them as.. well. Hands. Wouldn’t want to handle things like food (or objects which he otherwise wouldn’t want to dirty) with the same hands that are all over the ground all the time. This way, his glove-shoes can get dirty while his hands stay clean inside. He can just take them off when it’s time to eat or handle anything that doesn’t need to get dirty. He also just likes how they look; he’s got a few pairs. Stylish guy.
Friendship bracelets: for funsies :) an orange one for Arin, a pink one for Sora, and a red one for Wyldfyre.

One Piece - Warrior Cats AU, but it's a post-apo world with cats playing pirates to replace humans; here's the strawhats first!
Finally made small clean designs of the ideas i had for months haha- Not sure who i'll make next but there's so many characters i want to draw as cats hehe (i can take suggestions)
got some notes under cut
Monkeydawn: can't remember why i made him a colour point- Warrior cat names are a pirate thing, and Dawn is exclusive to the Ds. The ribbon is basically the strawhat here, given by Redscar (i didn't like the look of hats on cats-). Leader of Strawclan but he's bad at names so everyone named themselves
Mossthorn: gray oriental cat. Formerly named Thorn the Fox, Moss is a joke from Snail but also his favorite colour so- He's Clan deputy and a knife wielder, the harness is to keep them on his back.
Waveberry: long hair calico cat. Formerly named Wave, and was Wavestorm in the fishcats' clan. Berries are still a currency here but it sounded better than trying to fit Tangerine in her name. First warrior of the clan and terrain painter. Oh and there's Cloudstar too (names in -star are deities names)
Pebbleflight: black tabby cat. Formerly Pebble and had too many ideas for his pirate name. He grows poisonous plants for projectiles. Wanted as Flyingspark and then Pebblestar (he also has a star on his forehead like WC leaders have in fanarts!)
Snailswirl: Turkish van. Snail is a name he was given by Redleg (such a joke for a french cook but i love it), and Swirl is a joke from Moss. He's both a warrior and a med cat, his cooking experiments helping with faster recoveries.
Antlerfall: Neko no mi, model: lynx. Was named like a pirate by med cat Cherrytree, as his antlers disappear in his full lynx form. He's actually taller than most of the crew in all his forms. The one and only med reindeer !
Ravenbloom: russian blue. Went by the name Newmoon in Baroque Works, and is wanted as "Devilkit". She took back her childhood name Raven when joining the clan. Six legged most of the time because come on it's useful. Studies the extinction of humans (the existence of humans is still to be proven)
Blueflame: blue Mainecoon. Formerly named Littleflame, and renamed Blue by Iceberg, mixed both names when joining the crew. Lost his tail and badly injured his paws in the train accident, so the cyborg part is more like an exoskeleton. And hey, being six legged is fun. Assigned builder of the crew.
Whalesong: Siberian cat. Had his name from the black and white pattern of his fur making him look like an orca, and it fits with Laboon! So yes he is wearing his own fur because of course. His soul form also look like a typical starclan spirit fanarts, and starclan is an old pirate legend here.
Sharkstrike: fishcat! I'm so close to make a whole speculative evolution project about fishcats, but basically, they are cats if they had taken the same evolutionary path as whales. He's not a shark, he's still "just" a cat, but most fishcats are named after sea creatures.

Crafting a Fantasy Language: 25 Writing Prompts for World-Builders and Storytellers
Creating a unique language for your fantasy world is one of the most exciting and immersive ways to bring depth and authenticity to your world-building. It can shape how your characters interact, define their culture, and influence their history and magic systems.
But where do you start?
Below are 25 writing prompts to help you build a prosperous, culturally embedded language that feels as alive as the world you create.
Root Words and Origins
Start by developing core root words. For example, words like “life,” “death,” or “magic” are central to the culture. How do these root words evolve into other terms? Are they tied to mythology or historical events?
Phonetic Rules
What does your language sound like? Decide on familiar sounds and patterns. Do certain phonetic combinations carry spiritual or cultural significance? For instance, soft sounds are for peace, and harsh sounds are for power.
Honorifics and Titles
Design a system for titles and respect. Is there a specific way to address elders, warriors, or magical beings? Do different regions or classes use distinct honorifics?
Grammar Rules
Create unique grammar rules. How does your language handle sentence structure, tense, or gender? Is time expressed differently, or does your language have an untranslatable concept?
Cultural Influence on Language
How does culture shape the language? Does it have specific words for rituals, nature, or emotions that don’t translate directly into our languages? How do spiritual beliefs influence everyday speech?
Language Evolution Over Time
Write a brief history of how the language evolved. Did it splinter into dialects or undergo drastic changes? How does the ancient version of the language differ from the modern one?
Idioms and Metaphors
Create idioms reflecting the culture’s beliefs. What do they say to describe someone wise, foolish, or lucky? How do natural elements like mountains or storms influence these expressions?
Magical Incantations
Develop a system of magical language. Are there special words or sounds that must be used for spell-casting? How does the culture perceive these words—sacred or dangerous?
Formal vs. Informal Speech
Establish formal and informal registers in your language. How do characters speak to authority figures versus friends? Is formal speech more flowery or simply more rigid?
Writing System
Does your language use runes, symbols, or an alphabet? Is writing reserved for the elite or magical classes? The activation of certain words might require inscribing them on stone or parchment.
Emotion in Language
Examine how the language conveys emotions. Does it have words for nuanced feelings, like a specific term for unrequited love or a parent’s pride?
Sound Symbolism
Consider how the sound of a word reflects its meaning. For example, long vowel sounds might be used for beauty or calm, while short, sharp sounds are reserved for urgency or anger.
Names and Naming Conventions
Create naming traditions. Are names passed down or chosen based on events or personality traits? Does a name hold magical power, shaping one’s destiny?
Dialect and Regional Variations
Imagine how different regions or social groups speak. Does one region speak in a formal tone while another uses a clipped, more casual dialect? How do these differences cause misunderstandings?
Proverbs and Wisdom
Develop proverbs or sayings that reflect cultural wisdom. What does the culture say about offering advice or warning against danger? How are these proverbs tied to religion or folklore?
Cursing and Insults
Craft curse words or insults. What offends people in this culture? Are insults based on personal bravery, family honor, or physical appearance?
Historical or Dead Language
Create a dead language that was once widely spoken but only used in rituals. How does it influence the current language? Is it studied by scholars or magicians?
Gestures and Body Language
Does the culture rely on body language alongside speech? What gestures complement or emphasize words? Are there specific hand movements or bows tied to certain phrases?
Language and Religion
Explore the relationship between language and religion. Are there sacred words only spoken by priests or during rituals? Does the language invoke gods or magical forces?
Borrowed Words
Create words the language has borrowed from neighboring cultures. How have they been adapted, and what tensions exist between the borrowing and original cultures?
Linguistic Taboo
Are there forbidden words or phrases? How is breaking this taboo viewed—does it bring misfortune or divine wrath? Are these taboos tied to ancient magic or politics?
Wordplay and Riddles
Develop a tradition of wordplay or riddles. How do these reflect cultural values? Is wordplay used for humor, or does it hold deeper, more philosophical meaning?
Poetry and Song
Write a poem or song in your fantasy language. How does the structure of the language shape its poetic forms? Are certain sounds or words reserved for religious or ceremonial songs?
Powerful Words
In some cultures, words are believed to hold power. Write a scene where a character uses a single word to summon magic or change someone’s fate. What makes this word so powerful?
Silent Communication
Create a silent form of communication—hand signs or gestures used for secrecy, combat, or ritual. Who uses it, and why was it developed? How does it interact with spoken language?
Building a fantasy language isn’t just about creating a cool set of sounds or words—it’s about breathing life into your world. Every phrase, idiom, and root word carries cultural, historical, and magical weight, giving depth to your world’s characters and lore. Use these prompts to develop a language that feels alive and connected to the people who speak it.
Have you crafted a unique language for your world? Reply and tell me about the most exciting aspect of your creation.

Detecting AI MC builds on Pinterest

I saw this on Pinterest and the comments are all over it, but in case you see something like this and either want to build it or feel bad because you *can't* build it, this is AI garbage and here's some things to look for.
Pointing this out because I love this game and shit like this gives false promises for attention.
Minecraft is a game of cubes and strong straight lines. Even with a texture pack, look at the edge of these stairs. The top step should at the very least tile and exactly match the edges of the middle step, and it doesn't, because this isn't MC, it's a robot throwing pixels at a wall. Also 2x1 building blocks like this don't exist in this game.
Same here, Minecraft is a game built on the tiling effect: uniform patterns. Even a texture pack has textures coded to specific block types. This is a mess and the grout lines of the stones start and stop at random. Also that lantern or whatever it is on the right has zero depth or dimension that should be all the more apparent with these so-called shaders.
Crooked lines and impossible blocks everywhere. Those wood planks are each entirely different textures from each other, those fences are crooked af, and the weird slanted blocks aren't possible. Also on the left, it's just a complete blurry mess.
Does that look like a square to you? It's either meant to be a long trap door, or a short regular door, and it fails at both. Once again, the cobblestone beneath it lacks dimension, so does the skinny receeding cobblestone wall to the left in the shadows.
Minecraft is a perfect game for drawing perspective, and this house in the finer details completely lacks it here. This is a mess.
..
You can absolutely build a house in this style, but you can't replicate this to perfection and you shouldn't want to, beacuse it's not real. No one put in the hard work to design this. No one took the time to build this. No one is sharing this out of pride. It came from the void and is either a product of insecurity or a scammer wanting clicks--and scammers are a product of insecurity.
If I was a builder, I'd replicate this to show you what is possible, but that would also require giving this image more time than it's worth--which is to say no time at all.
Even *if*, best case, someone decided to draw this by hand, then they don't know or respect the game. Via the post, there's no indication that this is the case.
And lastly, vet your sources for build inspiration on Pinterest, or, better yet, watch the thousands of build tutorials by hardworking creatives on YouTube who do what they do to help people become better builders.

A walk through Bengal's architecture
Bengali architecture has a long and rich history, fusing indigenous elements from the Indian subcontinent with influences from other areas of the world. Present-day Bengal architecture includes the nation of Bangladesh as well as the Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura, and Assam's Barak Valley. West Bengal’s architecture is an amalgamation of ancient urban architecture, religious architecture, rural vernacular architecture, colonial townhouses and country houses, and modern urban styles. Bengal architecture is the architecture of Wind, Water, and Clay. The Pala Empire (750–1120), which was founded in Bengal and was the final Buddhist imperial force on the Indian subcontinent, saw the apex of ancient Bengali architecture. The majority of donations went to Buddhist stupas, temples, and viharas. Southeast Asian and Tibetan architecture was influenced by Pala architecture. The Grand Vihara of Somapura, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the most well-known structure erected by the Pala rulers.

The Grand Vihara of Somapura
According to historians, the builders of Angkor Wat in Cambodia may have taken inspiration from Somapura. Bengal architecture became known for its use of terracotta due to the scarcity of stone in the area. Clay from the Bengal Delta was used to make bricks.
The temple architecture has distinct features like the rich wall decoration, often known as the terracotta temples, which was one of the remarkable elements of Bengali temple architecture. The double-roofed architecture of thatched huts was replicated by Bengali temples. Square platforms were used to construct the temples. Burnt brick panels with figures in geometric patterns or substantial sculptural compositions served as the temples' adornment.

Dochala style
These served as models for many temples that were built in undivided Bengal. Construction materials used in ancient times included wood and bamboo. Bengal has alluvial soil, so there isn't a lot of stone there. The bricks that were utilized to build the architectural components were made from stone, wood, black salt, and granite. Bengal has two different types of temples: the Rekha type, which is smooth or ridged curvilinear, and the Bhadra form, which has horizontal tiers that gradually get smaller and is made up of the amalaka sila. Mughal architecture, including forts, havelis, gardens, caravanserais, hammams, and fountains, spread throughout the area during the Mughal era in Bengal. Mosques built by the Mughals in Bengal also took on a distinctive regional look. The two major centers of Mughal architecture were Dhaka and Murshidabad. The do-chala roof custom from North India was imitated by the Mughals.

Influence of the world on Bengal architecture: Although the Indo-Saracenic architectural style predominated in the area, Neo-Classical buildings from Europe were also present, particularly in or close to trading centers. While the majority of country estates had a stately country house, Calcutta, Dacca, Panam, and Chittagong all had extensive 19th and early 20th-century urban architecture that was equivalent to that of London, Sydney, or other British Empire towns. Calcutta experienced the onset of art deco in the 1930s. Indo-Saracenic architecture can be seen in Ahsan Manzil and Curzon Hall in Dhaka, Chittagong Court Building in Chittagong, and Hazarduari Palace in Murshidabad.

Hazarduari Palace in Murshidabad
The Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, designed by Vincent Esch also has Indo-Saracenic features, possibly inspired by the Taj Mahal. Additionally, Kolkata's bungalows, which are being demolished to make way for high-rise structures, have elements of art deco. The 1950s in Chittagong saw a continuation of Art Deco influences. The Bengali modernist movement, spearheaded by Muzharul Islam, was centered in East Pakistan. In the 1960s, many well-known international architects, such as Louis Kahn, Richard Neutra, Stanley Tigerman, Paul Rudolph, Robert Boughey, and Konstantinos Doxiadis, worked in the area.

The Jatiyo Sangshad Bhaban
This iconic piece of contemporary Bangladeshi architecture, was created by Louis Kahn. Midsized skyscrapers dominate the cityscapes of contemporary Bengali cities, which are frequently referred to as "concrete jungles." With well-known architects like Rafiq Azam, architecture services play a key role in the urban economies of the area. Overall Bengal architecture was influenced by various contemporaries of their time and continues to evolve.

imagining a hermit learning / getting comfortable w regression on Hermitcraft. okay gonna use solar waltz Grian here . As example hear me out.
So he’s getting more comfy w his regression! And what’s a builder to do? Make himself a safe corner of course !! So Grian makes all these plans. Designs himself an entire room or small base for him to be small in.
He starts working on it and doesn’t get very far before he regresses. Imagine someone coming to check up on him. Mumbo asks how’s the new project going? and comes in to an empty room and grian’s lost in a trance over toys he brought in to decorate with. Bonus points it’s like not even proper toys. He’s playing with a kid core patterned curtain.

Snifferish Builds #1
Taking a dip into modded minecraft with Sniff's latest video! Specifically Chisels and Bits, which will probably show up in the future as I enjoy rats smp.

The windows and the moss and the wisteria on Sniff's cottage really show of the artistic strengths of the chisels and bits mod. Using round windows in contrast with the dramatic sharp shape of the roof helps push the cozy vibe. The lattice designs on the circle windows is so neat and keeps the pattern from becoming too repetitive. Sniff added a tiny stained glass arch above the door which adds a ton of personality to the build. Having windows cracked open and the wood chopping log also add extra life to the cottage.
Just inside the door, there's boots, a hat, and a backpack. Sniff built this cottage for themself and these extra lived in details add to the feeling that Sniff actually lives here.

Cozy is the game with this interior and I wish I could live here. Plants in every corner and a big bed with a library on one side and a sunlit art setup on the other? Dream Home.
Sniff's attention to shape and weight when it comes to sculpting cloth, like those curtains, is admirable. I love the pattern on the carpet but I'm pretty sure that's a default from one of her mods since Sniff didn't mention designing it (and she noted when she was bringing in previous models they've made like the bed). Sniff mentioned they like high ceilings, which was why they didn't do an attic. For my own person tastes, I'm more torn. Sniff ended up doing a loft which I think looks stellar, but the a-line ceiling in this section of the house, I'm less a fan of. I don't think I've ever lived somewhere with an a-line ceiling, so maybe that's why it feel off/unfinished to me?

Kitchen is cute! Love the stove, fridge and shelving! I like that the sink faucet's gold color matches the detailing on the stove/fridge. But something about the sink isn't doing it for me. I think it might be because its the least textured spot in the room? But porcelain is smooth, so a texture wouldn't make sense. I'd be curious what adding a little lip around the edge of the sink would do? It'd probably be too bulky and throw off the scale.
I just noticed that the stove wall is a different texture than the one by the sink. That's an interesting choice. In this image it didn't feel right, but I watched back her video and it looks a lot more cohesive in motion and adds some nice warmth to the room.
I couldn't get a good screenshot of the loft, but I loved the inclusion of a book press and the art desk. Adding a railing for safety, also very good.
A lovely build. The colors are warm and earthy. Chisels and Bits builders go off.
