after this website decided to attempt to ban porn and ns fw content, it's honestly become a nightmare to navigate as an asexual person w/ sexual trauma. because next to no one uses the mature filter, or tags things as ns fw or even ns ft for fear of having their content or blogs taken down, it means that tumblr has returned to the wild west of random porn flooding your dashboard with next to nothing you can do about attempting to filter it out again

it's not great for a lot of people in general, even outside of asexuality; people with jobs who browse tumblr in their down time, people who have or work with kids, people who spend a lot of time in public, people who are often at religious establishments or events, children and teenagers- there are load of children who lie about their birth date in order to sign up for just about any website ever, the amount of minors are on here is staggering. this is not good many people in general.

as an asexual person with a long history of sexual trauma, i struggle to navigate my dashboard or even certain tags right now. even the act of tagging certain posts will have tumblr suggest 'related' tags that are nsf w even if you are tagging things something simple like "ftm" or "enby" or "butch lesbian". it's great that other people are flourishing and embracing their sexuality, but it comes at the cost of making this website very difficult to browse for asexual people and people with sexual trauma

my heart goes out to the rest of you who are absolutely exhausted and triggered by this. again it's wonderful for the people who enjoy it, but because of how strict the tagging and filtering systems are on this website and how easy it is to get your entire blog deleted just by having a single thing flagged as mature, this website has gotten significantly worse at actually filtering the content they set out to remove in the first place.

I gotta ask: Do we even HAVE an alternative that is GOOD? that we can TRUST and have it be user friendly like tumblr is for newcomers? i'm a huge fan of fanart myself (who isn't) but i can't reblog more art if there's no art to reblog. everything i have liked i already have reblogged, you are welcome to scroll through the #mcdanno fanart tag on my blog.

mcdanno isn't a new fandom (EST. 2010) and as it happens a lot of people have moved on, and unfortunately lots of art got lost to blog deactivation or the NS/FW ban of 2018. it used to be a big fandom but now it's relatively small.

i don't post fanart myself because i can't draw to save my life, i can only reblog what already exists. (unless you mean for me to repost someone else's art which i would never do, on tumblr we reblog creators)

Unpopular Thoughts - Accepting

Personally, your safety, comfort and experience on Tumblr is your own responsibility. It is no one elses responsibility to keep you safe or prevent you from seeing content you dont want to see. Blacklist tags for posts you need tagged and block blogs that you need to.

You can ask people to tag things for you if needed. However, people do not need to if they don't want to and you can't force them to tag things either. Harassing them isn't the way to go. If things aren't tagged like you need them to, then the best bet is to blacklist and block.

I personally try to tag things when possible and am okay with being asked to tag things if needed. This is mainly for ships however as I don't tag ships unless asked as I do aim to tag most common things that people might have a fear of or get a little unnerved by. I also tag things for easy blacklisting as I know some fandoms I'm in, not everyone wants to see them and just so everything related to a fandom is under one tag and can be looked through easily if needed.

I find now that people feel entitled and that you're required to tag things. Technically you don't. It's just considered good rp etiquette to tag things for others. Like I ask for ns/fw things to be tagged when related to sex as I'm not always up seeing things like that on my dash. But I don't make or ask people to tag it if it's a slip up. If it's constant I will ask. But if they say no, I'm not gonna vent on main or throw a hissy fit. I'll just softblock for my own comfort instead if their posts make me uncomfortable. It's that easy.

In general, I do think that people really need to learn to use the tagging system and block feature more so that they can make their tumblr experience safe and comfortable for themselves. And if they don't? Then they can't really complain about the content people post if they refuse to do anything themselves to give themselves the experience they want on here.

As the banner above suggests, I hit 500 followers on this blog recently, and I am overwhelmed by all the love and support you guys have given to my edits. As a way of thanking all of you, I will be doing a celebration and I really hope that you enjoy this as much as I do!

Also just an info, all the requests made for this celebration as well as the requests I have received previously will be done After 18th December, as my exams get over then (there's one lockscreen set that posts a bit earlier but the rest will be made then)

Kinktober Day 7- Hate Sex (Katsuki Bakugou x Reader)

This was so not how you had wanted to spend your Saturday night.

After a week that seemed to be made up of one bad event after another, all you wanted to do was relax. But, of course, the cosmic forces of the universe decided they weren’t done beating you up just yet.

And so here you were,

You crossed your arms over your chest , pushing your breasts up. Bakugou sat and stared for a moment wondering what the soft flesh would feel like, but averted his gaze before you could notice. “Even your thoughts seem annoying.”

“What does that even mean?”

“It means I’m watching you sit here and think to yourself and it looks like you’re even annoying yourself.” He elaborated. You scoffed

He was absolutely right, and your own thoughts were annoying you. But you would rather die than give him the satisfaction of admitting he was right. How dare he think that he-

“I’m right, aren’t I?” The arrogant tone in his voice cuts through you like a knife.

“You know, you are so fucking arrogant.” You snapped.

“It’s not arrogant to be good at something and know I’m good at something.” He snapped back. “And I just so happen to be great at a lot of things.”

“It absolutely is arrogant to-” You stopped, remembering that it’s useless to fight with him. You looked at the clock on the wall. Six hours to go. “Whatever,” you groaned. “At least one of us can fly, and it’s not you!” At this point you were just being petty but at least it felt good to-

“You’re just hovering, it’s not that impressive.”

“God, do you have to undermine everything that I do?”

He let out a smug laugh.

“What’s wrong princess? Deku not hitting it right?”

That was it. You couldn’t take it anymore.

“We broke up last week.” You answered coldly. “And don’t fucking call me that!”

Bakugou bit back a bitter laugh. Who says he had no self control

“No kidding…” He marveled to himself. “No wonder you’ve been so cranky.” You rolled your eyes so hard that you’re surprised they didn’t pop out of their sockets. “Hey don’t be a fucking brat with me. I told you he didn’t deserve you! And you-”

“Didn’t listen,” You finished for him. “I know. I know I didn’t. But can you really blame me when you followed that with ‘Maybe if you let a real man dick you down you’d open your fucking eyes a bit more.’” Changing your voice to mock his as you quoted him.

“That offer still stands by the way.” He stated, crossing his arms over his chest to mirror you.

“You?”

“Me.” He stated. You stared at him in disbelief, although you could have help but let your eyes wander down his toned arms and back up to his sharp facial features. His gaze pierced into you, but you couldn’t bring yourself to look away.

He grinned.

“I’m not looking so bad anymore, am I babygirl?”

“I fucking hate you-” You were cut off when he moved closer to you and placed a hand on your inner thigh. “Don’t touch me-” you started, but the words died on your lips when his hand slid up to play with your clit. You but your lip to keep silent, determined to keep your façade.

“Mhm, sure you do.” He kept working at your cunt, determined to get you to crack. You refused. “God, you are so fucking prideful.” He complained. You swore he knew exactly what to say to piss you off.

“I’m prideful? I’m not the one who-” he pushed your panties to the side and slid his middle finger into you, which caused you to let out a moan that would put a camgirl to shame.

Bakugou grinned widely as he watched you fall apart beneath him. His eyes watched you like a wild tiger watched its prey before striking.

“Deku’s never seen you like this before has he?” He chuckled. Your blood would be boiling right now if you weren’t so desperate for him to rearrange your guts. His movements started to slow. Anger flooded you when you realized that he wouldn’t do anything until you gave him an answer. You shook your head and frantically clawed at him to move again. That wasn’t good enough for him. He moved again slowly. Just enough to make you miserably needy for him.

“No.”

“What’d ya say, baby?”

“Nuh-uh.”

“Come on, use your big girl vocabulary. Full sentences. I’m not giving you what you want until you give me what I want.” Bakugou’s thumb languidly brushed over your clit.

“No.” You groaned. “No, he never-” You cut yourself off with a moan. “Izuku never fu- fuck that’s good- he never fucked me like this.” You were babbling, but Bakugou made no attempt to stop you. “It was so different with him that I-” He sped up, intentionally keeping you on the edge until you spilled all your secrets to him. But none of it mattered when it felt so right. “God, right there- I thought I was broken for a while.” You continued, caught between a dry chuckle and a low moan. “Now will you please shut up and rearrange my guts for me? His grin spread so wide it was almost sadistic. Katsuki quickly pulled your panties and skirt off, and flipped you over with a hand fisted in your hair.
