Hi, I'm Eren, the owner of two delightful cats. Yato, the white and grey cat, is nearly 7 years old and has IBD. He's a lovable yet shy feline who enjoys attention and lounging anywhere he can. Yato has a soft spot for lettuce and is currently dealing with dental issues that need attention.

On the other hand, Astral, our brown cat, is almost 3 years old. Known for her dramatic yet cuddly nature, she enjoys spending time with grandma and anyone willing to pet her. Astral, also referred to as "Floof", has a larger-than-life personality that's loved by all who meet her.

Recently, Astral's routine blood work for a dental procedure revealed elevated calcium and kidney levels, which were even higher than last year. These findings were concerning, especially since she became lethargic and started sleeping excessively last year before her first blood work. Her first tests from last year didn’t give us any answers. This year she has been acting like her happy and cuddly self with the only concern being her weight loss from 9 to 7 pounds. But this still was a concern.

Due to her weight loss and more elevated tests, the vet recommended we take her to the ER, where she was found to have a fever. After some tests and an ultrasound, we still don't know what's causing these abnormal results. However, we have a treatment plan in place.

With all these medical needs, we require assistance in covering the bills. Any form of help, be it financial or sharing our GoFundMe, would be greatly appreciated!

The GoFundMe goal will include the costs of the ER visits, any other vet bills from Astral's kidney/calcium levels, and the dental estimate for Yato. This isn't going to be a great sales pitch, but please give it a look. We had to take our cat into the emergency vet today to find out he has diabetes. Which blindsided us because we literally checked for that last month. It came on and got bad in that short amount of time. And we're devastated.

They want to keep him overnight and get him fluids and on insulin, and we can't afford it. We just spent the last of our money taking our other cat to the vet on Thursday. I can barely keep up with all of this stress.

I’m alive…

my cat is going into Liver failure and I’m working so I can pay the bills.

He’s not doing well and I do not see him getting better.

I’m just trying to make sure he is comfortable for any outcome and recommendations the Vet makes.

He’s lost 3 pounds and has gone jaundice. He is not throwing up anymore but has to still be force fed.

He is having a hard time breathing due to mucus build up from his liver failure. I’m not very optimistic about his recovery. We are still going to the vet every week for for blood tests and recovery is slow.

Welp! Winter's boy has a respiratory infection. It was causing him to wheeze so to the vet we went! Luckily it wasn't a diaphram issue (which had us worried because of his umbilical hernia). His hernia also came up normal on his x-rays.

(X-rays left out because might bother people, but I can send them on request)

He's on meds several times a day and taking them like a champ, but had to be put in a pen with limited free playtime (because nothing will stop Mr Indestructible from running around the house with all the grace of a car with no breaks). We DID get a reply after just a week from a really nice person who was going to give us one (shocked us let me tell ya because it was BIG dog sized). Unfortunately, they left it outside for us to pick up and someone else just... took it. Right out of their yard. And since all we had was a small cat carrier to keep him in (which was kinda cruel for more than a day or two tops), we ordered a cat playpen that we got for a decent price. We kept looking until it got here, but no luck. Still! It's a nice playpen and we have it set up so he doesn't have to jump if he doesn't want to (plus more vertical to enjoy later on). Sarah's mom also let us borrow her water fountain!

We went to a new vet as ours was booked up (and he had already been wheezing a day). Everyone basically fell in love with him instantly. He left with a little toy from the tech, they gave Winter a jar of honey (one of the people in the office has bees and they wanted to give her something for caring about a kitten that most wouldn't have despite him having a treatable condition), and they've been checking in on how he is recovering (very well since I first typed this actually). He's basically got an entire vet office wrapped around his little paw.

Also, the non-profit we're taking him to for his surgery had a cancelation and his got moved up to the 12th! Counting down the days yall.

Because I gotta kinda mention it, this hit us where it hurts. Between the vet visit and testing, the pen, and the estimated cost for the surgery and followup, it's gonna cost us more than $2k (as long as nothing ELSE goes wrong). We're lucky that we're all super careful with our money, but there's only so much we can save up with three people below the poverty line. Still worth it though. I mean, look at this doofus

The floor level beast needs surgery!

The vet has finally decided - and I agree - that it is time for my stinky old man Fig to have surgery. He needs his bad eye removed, and it has got significantly worse.

The quote for this is £1,886!

We brought him home at the end of October 2022 after he was picked up as a stray by a local rescue. No microchip and not neutered, he was probably the father of many litters, considering his estimated age is 10+. He's a big boy and a former bruiser, considering all of his scars.

The highest he ever seems to jump is the bed (although this is more of a climb) and he has never been a lap cat, but he loves to lay close to you. His best trick is sitting on his back legs, waving a paw when he wants treats. He *really* likes his treats!

These days, he is a spoilt baby, going between his boxes in the living room and the bed. Throwing cat litter across the floor every chance he gets.

He is completely blind in his left eye, and the lens is detached. It has also developed a film that has only got worse this past month. At the last checkup, the vet confirmed that it had swollen further.

The surgeries will happen. When we set out to get a cat, we initially went looking for an older one to give it the best remaining years we could.

Any help with the cost of Fig's surgery is greatly appreciated.

I know this is a long shot, but I’m trying to post wherever I can to help.

This is Koda, and he was rushed to the hospital this morning (6/7/23) after becoming noticeably lethargic.

I just received the call from the doctor that Koda is dehydrated, anemic, has a severe upper respiratory infection, and has fluid build up in his abdomen.

They are unsure at this time where the fluid is coming from, but worst case scenario is cancer. They have started him on fluids and antibiotics to stabilize him, but his prognosis was given as “guarded.”

I was given an estimate of $1000 to $2000 for his treatment and hospitalization. I’ve got $400 down at the moment with another $600 on the way when I get paid this Friday.

This is Finnian, he is literally the light of my life and the only thing that keeps me going.

He's recently stopped eating and has lost lot of weight, and I don't know why, and I'm really scared and need to make sure he's alright, and figure out why he won't eat anything.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of money, and I've already had to pay 500 dollars on an exam and blood work. We still don't know what's wrong with him, and he's stopped eating completely. I have another appointment on Monday to get him x-rays which is going to be another 300-400 and I am already really depleted...

Vet Bills

Hello everyone!

My baby ragdoll, Teddy Bear has been diagnosed with CCV, his prognosis isn’t looking very good, he requires a stay in the vet hospital and while I have paid one thousand for his first three days with the help of my friends, my family and I are already struggling in an abusive situation with our mother that leaves us struggling to buy food and pay our rent and my friends can’t afford to keep helping us, I would appreciate if there was anyway we could get some help for Teddy Bear’s hospital stay otherwise we are going to have to have him euthanised, he’s only five months old and I don’t want to see him have to pass without a fighting chance.

The vet has said he will likely need a week or two and I will receive a call later tonight to update me on his current condition but all I can afford is a three night stay for him, he’s my baby and my beacon of light after losing my best friend, Lucifer, I don’t want to lose him too

How goes the vet bill quest?

When i calculated all the vet bills, it was about $1000 is vet fees over the past month. So far with doing Kofi commissions and taking donations, so many kind people helper me raise $336 about a third of the cost!!! I'm very grateful and I'm still working on Kofi Request!!!

I work at a school so i didn't have a job over the summer. I don't have an income till September.

I'm so happy there are so many people who want to help me out with Babycake's care!!

I'm also very grateful.

So far this week Babycakes has perked up, he's skin is still yellow, but not as bad as he was 2 weeks ago. Deadass I thought he was not gonna make it and i wanted to take Kofi commissions to cover his end of life care. I was honestly so stressed put I forgot I could draw and my sister was trying to push me to sell feet pics 😅.

He started grooming himself again, eating on his own, begging for food, trying to steal my food, and his pee isn't bright orange anymore. He still needs to gain back more weight. I need to try and fatten him up

He’s got a vet appointment next week so hopefully his blood test come out eat better!!!
