Govert flint's "SPRING" chair
SPRING is a chair made from a single material. It is extruded from two sheets. With a powerful hobby like kite surfing the sheets can be extruded into a chair volume.
SPRING chair is produced as part of Better Factory, a program by the European Commission. Design studio Enrichers also worked alongside furniture manufacturer Antares Romania to develop strategies to look into how furniture manufacturers can make their portfolio’s ready for circular economy.

Stephanie Brown and the myth of Icarus. Stephanie Brown and being told that you can only fly this high and this far and this long, with robin wings made of cloth and feather, Stephanie Brown and falling into an abyss and dashing yourself against the ocean, and then discovering the mythicality of Icarus. Because she can make her own wings, this time, wings made of stronger stuff because it's more rightly her's, and she comes back, phoenix-child, with leather instead of feather, a bat in the night sky

Abul Mogard  - Half Light of Dawn ( Circular Forms ).
"Half Light of Dawn", included in Abul Mogard's 2015 album Circular Forms, is a deeply immersive piece that exemplifies the artist's ability to blend sonic textures with a meditative and introspective character. Mogard, known for his minimalist approach and his skill in evoking emotions through sound, employs a palette of slowly evolving electronic drones, enveloping the listener in a dreamlike and ethereal atmosphere.
The piece unfolds like a soundscape that seems to flow organically, using layers of analog synthesizers oscillating between low and high tones. The use of continuous drones creates a sense of vastness and emptiness, while subtle changes in sonic texture keep the listener’s attention in a hypnotic state. Mogard employs minimal yet effective dynamics, introducing modulations and delicate harmonies that suggest a distant dawn, as hinted at by the title.
"Half Light of Dawn" does not tell an explicit story but rather invites a subjective emotional experience. The absence of a clear melody allows the listener to project their own feelings and thoughts, evoking a mix of melancholy, calm, and a sense of infinity.

José Zanine Caldas, "Canoa" Lounge Chair, 1970s,
Constructed from a used canoe, this armchair rejects modern forms of production, proposing instead a return to tradition. The armchair centers traditional Brazilian forms and woodcarving techniques. Stripped of any ornamentation or superfluidity, the design is centered around the beauty of the reclaimed pequi wood and the sublime simplicity of a traditional canoe form.
Noticeable tool marks allow the work of the craftsman to remain visible. With its focus on material and heritage forms, this piece perfectly encapsulates the designer’s artistic sensibility.
The canoa chair is a classic of Brazilian furniture design. What makes this piece special are the forms and proportions accentuated by Caldas. The piece is a Brazilian master’s deeply personal take on a seminal Brazilian form.
Recycled Pequi wood,
