Olympic Chocolate Muffins! (since the recipe is paywalled on WaPo)
Cool the muffins and ganache completely before assembly, about 30-40 minutes
Makes 12 muffins
Muffin Ingredients:
¾ cup (180 ml) whole or reduced fat milk
¼ cup (60 ml) water
2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
½ cup (50 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons (56 grams) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
½ cup + 1/3 cup (145 total grams) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chunks
2 cups (250 grams) AP flour
1 tablespoon baking powser
¼ teaspoon fine salt
½ cup (110 grams) packed dark brown sugar
½ cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
¼ cup (60 ml) neutral oil
2 large eggs, room temp
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup (60 grams) chopped milk chocolate, plus more for topping
Ganache Ingredients:
2/3 cup (115 grams) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chunks
½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
1/8 teaspoon fine salt
Directions
Position rack in the middle of the oven, preheat 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a regular sized muffin pan with liners.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, water, and instant coffee. Bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally.
Add cocoa powder and whisk.
Decrease heat to low, add ½ cup (85 grams) of the chocolate chunks and butter, whisk until melted and smooth.
Transfer to a large bowl and cool slightly
In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
To chocolate mixture, whisk in brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
Add about 1/3 of the flour mixture, whisk until incorporated
Add remaining flour, folding with a spatula until no streaks remain.
Fold in remaining 1/3 cup (60 grams) chocolate chunks and chopped milk chocolate, until just combined. Do not overmix.
Using a ¼ cup scoop or measuring cup, divide batter among 12 muffin cups, filling to the top of the pan.
Sprinkle additional chocolate chunks on top.
Transfer pan to oven, and immediately reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake for 22-24 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Start on ganache now
Let muffins cool in pan for 10 minutes, then use a knife or piping tip to cut an approximately ¾ inch wide hole in the center of each muffin. (use the centers as ice cream topping or eat now!)
Let muffins cool completely.
GANACHE: in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine chocolate chunks, heavy cream, and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Once muffins and ganache are completely cool, spoon or pipe ganache into the center of the muffin, until slightly overflowed. Serve immediately.

For the Pumpkin Filling:
• 1 cup (240g) pumpkin puree
• 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
• 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp ground cloves
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
• 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
• 4 cups (480g) powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Ganache:
• 8 oz (225g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
• 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
For Topping:
• 1 cup crushed Maltesers (chocolate malt balls)
• Caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
Making the Cake:
1. Prepare the Oven and Pans: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
4. Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5. Add Boiling Water: Carefully stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth. The batter will be thin.
6. Bake: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Making the Pumpkin Filling:

Making the Cream Cheese Frosting:
1. Beat Cream Cheese and Butter: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
2. Add Powdered Sugar: Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
3. Add Vanilla: Beat in the vanilla extract until well combined.
Making the Chocolate Ganache:
1. Heat the Cream: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just simmering.
2. Melt the Chocolate: Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy. Let cool slightly.
Assembling the Cake:
1. Layer the Cake: Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of pumpkin filling on top, followed by a layer of cream cheese frosting. Repeat with the second layer.
2. Add the Ganache: Pour the slightly cooled chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
3. Garnish: Sprinkle the crushed Maltesers on top and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
Serving:
• Chill the cake for at least 30 minutes before serving to set the layers.
• Serve and enjoy your chocolate pumpkin layer cake with Maltesers!
This cake combines the rich flavors of chocolate and pumpkin with the crunch of Maltesers, making it a perfect treat for any occasion.

look at you, looking at me
cw: 1.3k wc, this is my entry for @gojoath's yandere collab! this armin comes with charm and a hint of obsessive behavior, it's quite short but i haven't written anything in a minute so i hope you'll still enjoy :)
Tumblr media
“Uhm— excuse me?”
The soft voice peels your attention away from the thick book you’ve been immersed in for the past minutes and you suddenly find yourself focusing on delicate features, azure gaze limpid yet hesitant boring into yours.
“I’m so sorry, is it okay if I sit here? The cafe is packed, I’ve been waiting for half an hour now” a tentative smile stretches rose shaded lips “and, well, I could only gather enough courage to ask because we’re kinda here to do the same thing. Unless you’re waiting for someone” the smile grows wider, cheeks dusted with a pink so pretty as he holds up the same book you had started reading just yesterday on the subway.
A little taken aback, you smile too and his dimple gets a little deeper in turn.
“Sure, take a seat! I’m not waiting for anyone”
Armin graciously lets his backpack slip from his shoulder onto the floor and places the battered copy of Les Miserables on the table, at measured distance from your latte. You fixate on the book as he wanders off to place his order, not before offering one last relieved smile and uttering a thanks so quiet it almost gets swallowed by the voices murmuring at different tables and the sound of the coffee machine behind the counter.
The book is worn out, with black ink stains smeared across the fore edge, rendered thicker by what you assume are colorful sticky notes used for annotations. Is he studying it? Or is he just one of those readers who are the complete opposite of you? Always so careful, almost reverent with each title: your fingers explore attentively, to feel the furrows that make each page special, invisible irregularities that make you smile and bring comfort until you truly can’t resist anymore and bring the book up to your face to give it a quick sniff. When you encounter a paragraph or a sentence that you can’t risk forgetting, the palest trail of a pencil is the only thing you use to highlight it.
When the stranger comes back with his cappuccino, cocoa powder sprinkled on top, it’s a bit disappointing that he simply sits down across you and picks up the book once more without uttering a single word. Usually you’d simply go back to reading too but he has nice hands with fingers that spread prettily to hold what’s not exactly a light book, the afternoon sun is hitting his fair hair just right and you’ve been sitting in silence for enough time to crave a chat—
His gaze travels up from the page that had his brows furrowing and you’re so embarrassed to be caught staring with the same intensity some lurker would have.
“God, sorry” you chuckle nervously, blood suddenly simmering underneath excessively layered clothing, “it’s just… you seem to really like it. The book, I mean. I’m always scared to ruin the ones I love the most but yours seems just as loved”.
He smiles and a pretty blush sets on his cheeks as one hand timidly scratches the back of his neck.
“Well, I mean, love changes things. I like looking back at the things I loved and seeing how different they are compared to when I first got them, you know?”
“Yeah” you smile back “yeah, I think I know what you mean. Would it be weird to ask about the notes you’re taking?”
“Of course not, but I’d ruin the book for you. To keep it vague and spoiler free, I usually highlight dialogues or descriptions that really impress me. If they remind me of authors or poetry I have already explored, I expand on the concept and add my own thoughts. It’s messy and very underwhelming once you actually go through it” his awkward smile radiates warmth and, hell, you think it’s attractive.
“You sure make it sound anything but underwhelming, though” you deem the chuckle you elicit a small victory, so it’s only natural to finally introduce yourself.
Armin utters his name with bashfulness, he’s aware it sounds odd but your reaction to hearing it for the first time is the one thing he wouldn’t have been able to predict. You say it back: Armin. Wow! Are you from Germany? I think it comes from Arminius. Yeah, sorry, I have a Classics degree!
Armin.
It sounds so much better when you say it and he licks his lips by a weird reflex that tastes like coffee instead of the sweetness of your chapstick: you’re wearing it today too, not really one for lipsticks, the dim lights of the crowded cafe accentuating the mild shine of your pretty lips. 100% natural, moisturising peppermint lip balm. He can’t wait until he’s alone once more to apply the waxy consistency to his lips with his index finger, just like you always do.
“Jean” Armin replies to your question with ease, his thoughts are already wandering off but you certainly don’t need to know that as you take a sip from what he’s sure it’s a latte gone cold “not only because he shares one of my friends’ name. I just love that he embodies hope, even in such darkness”
He knows you’re gonna love Enjolras and perhaps even Eponine, conflict and tragedy always, inevitably luring you in. Armin wouldn’t love you as much if you weren’t so fascinated by pain: the movies you usually pick, all the plays you have watched with friends and family, even those ridiculous true crime podcasts you listen to at night right before going to bed, show that you have depth, that you’re interested in the fundamental sorrow and evil that lies in everything human.
Not in you. The pettiest thing you ever did was getting the last twix from the vending machine at your workplace, to get back at your idiotic colleague. You’re incapable of being selfish or wicked and that’s what worries him the most, that’s what keeps him awake at night and urged him to finally bring himself to come out into the open.
It's a little unfortunate: he hates ruining books and had to visit a couple different shops to find an edition that would match yours, hours spent cracking the spine, aging those brand new pages, adding empty colorful sticky notes and random stains. Tea, coffee, ink, the explosion of an old but elegant fountain pen, different bookmarks to make the book look thicker, fuller, filled with thoughts that never really existed. He's read it while in high school, hated every page, each character, dialogues and painfully detailed descriptions a never ending agony that used to fuel his nightmares as a student.
Most importantly, Armin is far from having everything ready for you just yet. But man, was this worth it. You’re more beautiful than ever up close, your voice is as smooth as the satin of the pink ribbons he has bought for you. Now Armin’s certain they’ll match the color of your eyes just right.
“You have a friend named Jean? That’s so cool!” you lean forward over the table, it’s imperceptible but, like an opposite magnet, he’s instantly drawn to your floral scent.
“He’s okay” he chuckles with sincere affection “always drags me along for the most insane hikes”
You huff, sympathetic.
“Ouch. I hate hikes” of course you do “I’d probably just ghost him”
“Tried that. He has the keys to my apartment so he simply dragged me out of bed at the crack of dawn”
You wrinkle your nose adorably.
“Damn, that’s some dedication. Maybe I’ll end up meeting this Jean guy and convince him to leave you alone”
Armin freezes in his seat. Ths first thought that crosses his mind is not a chance in hell.
He’ll keep his friends away from you, Jean and Connie and Eren, with their charming smiles and good looks and lame jokes you’d be too polite not to laugh at. You’re too good for them, you’d be too good for anyone, the thought of you sitting in a coffee shop on your own is already torture. You truly don’t realize how hideous and dangerous the world and its people can be.
“What’s that face?” the silver tinkling of your laugh is a pleasant interference for increasingly febrile thoughts “you weren’t even going to ask for my number, after all this?”
Armin blinks his surprise away, heat spreading in his chest with the intensity of fireworks explonding in the night sky.
He licks his lips again.

Cake recipe for you! I hope you have a good day today
✧ 4 tbsp of any kind of flour (or 2 of flour and 2 of cocoa powder/hot choco mix/prote powder)
✧ 2 tbsp of sugar
✧ ½ tsp of baking powder
✧ 4 tbsp of liquid (milk, water, anything goes
✧ 1 ½ tbsp of oil (or melted butter/coconut oil)
✧ Some vanilla if you have it, maybe a pinch of salt if that’s your thing, food coloring if thats more your style!
mix everything together in a mug (or a small bowl that has kind of tall straight up sides). Once it’s mixed you can add things like choco chips, swirl in some peanut butter, jam, sprinkles, handful of pretzels maybe, idk its mug cake. (If you go for peanut butter tho I'd add a little more liquid bc it always makes it kinda dry on me.) You can put some more sprinkles on top too if u want it to be pretty.Microwave it for 1.5 minutes. I usually open the door and let it sink down if it looks like it’s gonna overflow. And there you have cake! If you got some frosting and didn’t already eat it all straight out the jar you can put some on top too.
😭😭😭😭 see I planned on surprising you by making the mug cake and posting it so you could see that it made me happy. But I just realized that it says "baking powder" and not "baking soda" 😭 I don't have baking powder. I appreciate you looking out for me though. I'll make me this second chocolate cake this weekend 😤🙏🏾

Hot Chocolate
Pairing: Aleksander Morozova x Fem!Reader
Summary: Aleksander has been struggling to sleep recently, so you decide to give him a treat to lift his spirits.
Tumblr media
“What’s this, my love?”
Aleksander observes the tray you’re holding carefully, studying the contents as you step into your shared bedroom. Despite his curiosity, he cannot help but admire the way your nightdress fits perfectly over your body, delicate fabric brushing against the floor as you step closer.
He is already dressed for bed, a black robe hanging loosely over his shoulders as he stands on his side of the room. He pulls the covers back for the two of you, adjusting the black pillows as he awaits your response.
“I know you haven’t been sleeping well.”
He stills for a moment at your words, avoiding your eyes as he brushes his hand over the dark bedsheet to smoothen out some nonexistent creases in the fabric.
“Have I been disturbing you?” he asks slowly, his words heavy with self-accusation at the thought of his restlessness keeping you from your sleep.
“Of course not,” you answer quickly.
He watches as you sit down on your side of the bed, placing the ornate tray down in the centre of the mattress.
“I thought a little treat before bed might take your mind off things - and help you rest easier.”
A soft smile tugs at his lips as he sits down on the bed beside you.
“That’s very thoughtful of you.”
It’s only then that he finally pays full attention to the contents of the tray. He finds two steaming cups accompanied by saucers, topped with whipped cream and a light sprinkle of cocoa power.
The sweet scent of chocolate fills his senses, his mouth watering at the thought of a taste. As you observe his reaction, you smile and pick up a cup, offering it to him.
“Careful, it’s hot,” you warn him with concern in your eyes as he lifts the cup to his lips, saucer settled in his other hand.
Aleksander takes a tentative sip, a hum of delight in his throat as he swallows his first mouthful. The cream is light and sweet as it melts on his tongue and the hot chocolate itself is the best he has ever tasted.
He blinks at the cup in surprise at how good the taste is, and you laugh softly at the look on his face. The smile twitching at the corner of his mouth widens at the sound of you laugh.
With the war going on, luxuries like this are rare, and Aleksander doesn’t typically indulge in such things for himself. Still, he’s curious to know how you pulled off such a wonderful creation.
“How?”
There’s a prideful glimmer in your eyes and he knows you had been hoping he would ask you about this.
“The Queen uses cocoa powder for her nightly face mask - a unique blend from Novyi Zem. Genya managed to get some for me.”
“And the cream?”
“The new chef at the Grand Palace is particularly fond of sweet treats - I might have offered to show her our kitchens in exchange for this.”
He leans forward, pressing an appreciative kiss to your cheek.
“Thank you, my love.”
“You’re welcome.”
The two of you sit in companionable silence, leaning against your headboard, shoulders touching, as you drink from your cups.
Once you’re both finished, Aleksander internally admits that he feels more optimistic about sleeping soundly beside you tonight.
His heart flutters as you trace your thumb over his upper lip before you circle the pad down against his lower lip.
Warmth spreads over your cheeks when you see the look on his dark eyes as you withdraw. While you attempt to explain yourself, the corner of his mouth lifts into a smirk.
“You had some cream on your face.”
He nods, leaning over towards you.
“You have some too.” As you reach for a napkin, he settles his hand over yours. “Allow me.”
Aleksander cradles your face in his hands, ducking his head down for his lips to meet yours. He sucks your lower lip between his, tongue tracing over the sensitive skin there.
“All gone.”
“Are you sure?”
The corner of his mouth twists with a teasing smile, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Now that you mention it, I think there is a little more. Here.” He presses a hurried kiss to the corner of your mouth. “And here.” Another kiss to your cheek. “Here too.”
Soon, he’s settling a flurry of kisses over your face and you’re giggling at his antics, sliding down onto your pillow to escape him. He laughs warmly and you realise you had almost forgotten how wonderful his laugh is.
His halts his attack, his nose brushing gently against yours as he withdraws ever so slightly and you thread a hand affectionately through his hair. He looks down at you fondly, tracing his fingers over your cheek then along your jawline.
Holding your chin between his fingers, he tilts your head gently upwards, bending down to leave a soft kiss against your lips.
“Thank you for this,” he murmurs softly.
“Anything for you, Sasha.”

Black Moss Cupcake Recipe
Thanks to a review of Exquisite Exandria by CBR.com we now have the recipe for Uthodurn's infamous Black Moss Cupcakes!
INGREDIENTS:
Dark Chocolate Cupcakes Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 large egg 2/3 cup whole milk 1/3 cup sour cream 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2-3 drops black food coloring (optional)
Chocolate Matcha Frosting 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 ounces full-fat cream cheese (room temperature) 1 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder 1 teaspoon whole milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 pinch of salt
Moss Cookie Crunchies 3/4 cup vanilla wafer cookies 1/12 teaspoon matcha powder 1/12 teaspoon light brown sugar 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted and cooled
Dust of Deliciousness: Ingredients redacted, food glitter recommended as replacement
INSTRUCTIONS:
Dark Chocolate Cupcakes
Set a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 325*F/165*C. Line the cups of a 12-cup standard muffin tin with paper cupcake liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a second large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, sour cream, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and black food coloring until no streaks of egg remain. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix with a rubber spatula until a smooth batter forms and no pockets of dry flour remain.
Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full. Bake, rotating the pan front to back halfway through baking, 16-19 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. Let cool slightly, then transfer the cupcakes onto a cool rack and let cool completely.
Chocolate Match Frosting
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the butter, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, cocoa powder, matcha powder, milk, vanilla, and salt. (Alternatively, use a large mixing bowl and electric handheld mixer.) Mix on low speed just until the ingredients are combined, then increase the speed to medium-high and beat until frosting is light and fluffy, 1 1/2-2 1/2 minutes. Transfer the frosting to a large piping bag fitted with a straight tip, or a zip-top bag with one corner snipped off.
Moss Cookie Crunchies
Place the vanilla wafer cookies in the bowl of a food processor and process until they are the texture of fine sand, 15-25 seconds. (Alternatively, place the cookies in a large zip-top bag and smash with a rolling pin or skillet.) Transfer the crushed cookies to a large mixing bowl and add the brown sugar and matcha powder. Add the melted butter and mix, using your hands, until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
Dust of Deliciousness
Frost the cupcakes by piping an even, generous layer of frosting on top of each. Working with one cupcake at a time, invert the cupcake and gently press the frosted top into the bowl of cookie crunchies, rotating so the moss sticks to the sides of the frosting until the top is evenly coated. Repeat this process with the remaining cupcakes. Sprinkle all with Dust of Deliciousness.

Little Sanji dabble
Standing in the kitchen stirring a pot of hot cocoa while talking to Robin is Sanji seemingly only half there.
“Cook-san are you alright you seem…”
Before Robin could finish her question, Sanji's head snaps up towards the door, quickly turning the burner off as he runs out. Heading straight to the boys bunk room, upon passing the girls room nami opens the door with a shout.
“SANJI WHAT ARE…”
Before she can finish her sentence Robin runs past with a worried look on her face, looks at nami and shakes her head. With a sigh nami goes to follow as well.
Within moments Sanji slimes the door open rushing over to an already awoken chopper who’s crying and staring to hyperventilate. Quickly Scooping chopper in to hug one arm under his legs and the other running fingers through the fur on choppers head.
“Shhh shhh, its ok your safe you’re ok everyone is here”
Pushing his head into the crook of his neck and rocking softly side to side. Placing a soft kiss to the small boy's forehead.
“Sanji i-i Zoro he i-“
Carefully turning choppers head
“Shhh Marino right there, the sunny still has it’s resident plant life”
Chopper goes back to nuzzling into the crook of sanji’s neck still hiccuping but starting to calm down. Holding the little doctor close he starts to hum.
“How about we go to the kitchen for some hot cocoa?”
With an excited yell from the top bunk luffy jumped down.
“Yaaaaaay hot cocoa”
Sanji’s head snaps up as his eyes widen with the realisation that everyone is awake and witnessing this moment. With a sigh and a red face he offers for everyone to join them in the kitchen.
“Alright follow me if you want some hot cocoa”
Turning around spotting both girls in the doorway his face darkens even further, coughing and tilting his head down motions for everyone to follow. Entering the kitchen once again they head over to the table as Sanji with chopper now being held up with one arm as he rests on his hip, goes over to the stove where the hot cocoa is ready to be served.
Pulling a mug out of the shelf he ladles the hot cocoa to almost full then grabbing the piping bag filled with whipped cream he made, precedes to pipe the cream high on top. Then for the finishing touch sprinkles and cocoa powder are sprinkled on top.
Bringing both chopper and the drink over to the table he places chopper in his seat and with a gentle head pat goes back to the pot to pour out everyone else a cup. Placing all the drinks onto a tray as he goes to pass them out, starting with the girl's robin with just whipped cream on top, nami with chipped cream and tangerine peel with cocoa powder. Then the boys luffy first, who has the same as Chopper, Usopp with just marshmallows, Franky with cream and cocoa powder, brook with no cream and finely zoro just hot cocoa.
As Sanji places the drink in front of Zoro he goes to stop him.
“No..”
But before much else can be said Sanji counters.
“Made with dark chocolate no sugar no cream no marshmallows drink up”
With a grunt the drink is accepted. With everyone’s drinks handed out he goes to sit down next to Chopper with a plain hot cocoa. After a few moments of quiet while everyone is enjoying their drinks, Robin breaks the silence.
“I see now why you were making so much but how do you know chopper was going to have a bad dream tonight”
Blushing yet again and hiding behind his cup he goes to tell robin that he had just guessed but before he could chopper chimes in.
“Sanji always know when I’m going to have a bad dream I don’t know how he does it but every time he’s there and he makes me hot cocoa, then tucks me back into bed and sometimes he’ll sing me a lullaby”
Chopper is smiling and swilling his feet, meanwhile sanji’s blush has evolved to a completely red face, steam can almost be seen coming off his head. Burying his face in his hands. Robin chuckles softly behind his hand, at choppers statement luffy gasps slamming both hands on the table.
“SANJI YOU BEEN MAKING CHOPPER LATE NIGHT HOT COCOA BUT NOT ME YOUR CAPTAIN”
Running his hands down his face with an exasperated sigh.
“Luffy you don’t wake up from bad dreams but if you do wake me up and i'll make you late night hot cocoa alight”
At this luffy is jumping up and down in his seat cheering. Sanji looks to his left to check in on Chopper, finding him content, smiles and takes a sip of his drink. But Robin is not done with her questioning.
“If this is a regular occurrence how come you made a whole batch and a special cup just for Zoro”
Nearly choking on his drink stammering to come up with a reason, sighing in defeat he goes with the truth.
“Thriller bark is only just behind us figured he was due for a bad one with how it ended, having everyone together after he woke up felt like the best option”
Shrugging he goes to speak again much more quietly, almost a whisper.
“Zoro doesn’t like sweet things so he got dark chocolate”
No idea if I’ll go further with this but I wanted to put it out there

The sun shined its warm rays upon the quaint little storefront of "The Daily Grind," a modest coffee shop tucked away in the middle of the bustling city.
The bell chimed as the door opened, and Kenji Ichinose, a tall and lean young man with long black hair and piercing Grey eyes, slipped inside.
He stood just behind the line, scanning the bustling atmosphere with a smile on his face. There was Someone he was looking for, the man was working diligently behind the counter, his slender fingers deftly crafting a latte.
Kenji's eyes were glued to the way his hands moved, the way his muscles flexed as he squeezed the steam from the milk.
He let out a soft sigh, his heart racing in his chest. He knew he had to have him.
Kenji stood silently in line, his eyes fixated on the barista behind the counter.
He watched intently as the man’s nimble fingers worked the coffee machine, crafting the perfect cup of espresso.
Kenji’s heart raced as he took in the sight of his slender frame and the way his muscles flexed as he moved. The line moved forward, and Kenji took a step closer to the counter.
His eyes never left the man behind it, and he couldn’t help but smile to himself. He had to have him. The barista’s eyes met Kenji’s for a moment, and their gazes locked.
"Hi Kenji." The man gave him a warm smile.
Kenji felt butterflies flutter in his stomach as the barista greeted him by name.
"Hey." he responded with a casual tone, trying to act coy. "Busy day, huh?"
"Yeah, it's been nonstop since this morning." the barista replied, still busy working on the espresso.
He took a moment to glance up at Kenji, his eyes catching his gaze. Kenji couldn’t help but feel a sudden pang of possessiveness. He wanted him all to himself.
"I don't know how you do it." Kenji replied, leaning on the counter a bit. He couldn't keep his eyes off the barista.
The barista chuckled "It's just another day in the coffee world."Kenji watched as the barista poured the espresso into a cup and added a splash of steamed milk.
The way he moved was so smooth and confident, it made Kenji's heartbeat faster.
"You make it look so easy." Kenji said, a hint of awe in his voice. He watched as the barista added a sprinkle of cocoa powder to the top of the coffee. It looked perfect.
Kenji's hands longed to reach out and touch him, to feel his skin.
"Years of practice." the man replied with a smile, sliding the cup over to Kenji.
"There you go, your usual espresso."
Kenji took the cup, letting his fingers brush against the barista’s lightly. It was brief, but the touch sent sparks through his body. He brought the cup to his lips and took a sip, the rich flavor of the espresso filling his mouth.
"Thanks." he said, his voice coming out softer than he intended. He couldn’t take his eyes off the barista.
The barista smiled at him, noticing the slight change in his tone.
"You’re welcome." Kenji took another sip, trying to hide his feelings for the man in front of him. It was hard when all he wanted to do was grab him and never let go.
He couldn’t help but wonder what it would feel like to have the barista all to himself. To have his undivided attention and affection.
Kenji took a seat at a table near the counter, sipping his espresso as he watched the barista work.
He couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy every time another customer came up to the counter and spoke to the barista.
Kenji watched as the barista smiled at the other customers, making casual conversation. He could feel his heart clenching with each word he said to someone else.
He wanted desperately to be the only one the barista talked to, to be the only one who had his attention. He sipped his espresso, trying to act nonchalant, but inside he was bristling with possessiveness.
The barista continued to work, moving around the counter with agility and grace. His slender fingers twisted the lid off of a new milk carton, and Kenji couldn’t help but watch every little movement he made. Kenji’s mind was swirling with thoughts of how he could get the barista to himself. He knew it would be risky, but he was desperate.
Every time the barista looked up and their eyes met, it sent a shiver down Kenji’s spine.
It was as if the barista was aware of his intense gaze, and he would give him a small smile each time. Kenji couldn’t shake the feeling that the barista was taunting him, testing his patience.
It made him even more determined to make him his.
The afternoon crowd grew, and the coffee shop became more crowded.
Kenji watched from his table as people came and went, each one taking up the barista’s attention. He clenched his jaw, feeling a pang of jealousy each time the barista smiled or joked with a new customer.
He couldn’t bear the sight of him engaging with others.
As the day wore on, Kenji grew more and more frustrated. He finished his espresso and stared down at the empty cup, contemplating his next move.
He wanted the barista, and he wasn’t going to stand by and watch him flirt with every customer that walked through the door. It was time to take action.
As the sun began to set and the coffee shop started to empty out, Kenji saw his chance. The barista was wiping down the counter, cleaning up the remnants of the day.
Kenji got up from his table and walked up to the counter, his heart racing in his chest. He had no idea what he was going to say, but he knew he had to make his move now.
"Hey." Kenji said, trying to sound casual as he leaned on the counter. The barista looked up at him, a small smile on his face.
"Hey there. I see you're still here." the barista said, resuming his cleaning.
"Yeah, I guess I lost track of time." Kenji lied, watching the barista’s every move. He couldn’t help but notice the way the barista’s muscles flexed as he moved his arms, the way his shirt hugged his chest. He longed to touch him, to feel his skin.
The barista chuckled.
"It happens. Time tends to slip away when you’re lost in thought." Kenji nodded, his eyes fixated on the barista’s lips.
He realized how close they were standing, and suddenly his heart was racing even faster.
He was so close he could count every freckle on the barista’s face. He wondered if they tasted as sweet as he imagined.
He fought the overwhelming urge to lean over the counter and find out. Kenji felt his hands shaking as he tried to find the right words to say.
Kenji glanced outside and saw that the sun had set, casting a warm glow over the city streets. He turned back to the barista, who was still cleaning up.
"It’s getting late." he said. "Isn’t your shift almost over?"
The barista looked up at him, a weary smile on his face. "Yeah, I guess it is. But I still have some closing duties to take care of."
"I can stick around and help you." Kenji offered, trying to hide his ulterior motives. He was looking for any excuse to spend more time alone with the barista.
The barista looked surprised, but grateful. "Are you sure? You don’t have to do that."
"I don’t mind." Kenji insisted, walking over to the other side of the counter. He began to help the barista with the closing tasks, wiping down tables and organizing the pastry display.
As they worked, the barista let out a yawn, signaling his exhaustion. Kenji noticed this and couldn’t help but smile to himself. Perfect.
"You seem tired." he said, feigning concern.
The barista nodded, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, it’s been a long day. I’m ready to go home and pass out on the couch.
"Why don’t I drive you home?" Kenji suggested, trying to sound casual. He already had a plan formulating in his mind, a sinister idea that made his heart race with excitement.
The barista looked at him appreciatively. "It is not necessary, I don’t want to inconvenience you."
"It’s no trouble at all." Kenji insisted, gesturing towards the door. "Come on, let me drive you home." He wasn’t going to let this opportunity pass him by.
“Please.” he said, his voice low and persuasive.
“Let me walk you home. I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if something happened to you on the way.” Your resistance faded at his words, your exhaustion winning out over your sense of politeness.
You sighed, your shoulders slumped in defeat.
“Alright.” you said, a note of resignation in your voice. “If you’re really sure it’s no trouble…”
A wave of exhilaration washed over him.He had done it. Kenji's smile turned into a smirk as he casually slipped his arm around you, guiding you out of the now-dark cafe.
The barista felt a shiver go down his spine as Kenji’s arm slipped around his shoulder, but he was too tired to protest. Kenji guided him out of the café, his arm firm around his shoulder. The night air was cool on his face, and the street lamps cast a soft glow over the sidewalk.
He could feel Kenji’s body pressed up against his, the warmth from his touch spreading through him. The barista realized how close together they were walking, and how easy it would be for Kenji to pull him aside into a dark alley. He pushed the thought out of his mind, trying to focus on the rhythm of their footsteps on the pavement.
Despite his exhaustion, the barista couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. There was an underlying tension in Kenji’s touch, a possessiveness that made him uneasy. As they walked, Kenji kept his arm wrapped firmly around the barista’s shoulder, his fingers digging in slightly. The barista tried to brush it off, telling himself he was imagining things.
They walked in silence for a few more minutes, the only sound coming from the occasional car that passed them on the street. The barista kept stealing glances at Kenji, trying to decipher his expression in the dim light. But his face was unreadable, a carefully crafted mask that revealed nothing.
A sense of unease began to settle in the pit of the barista’s stomach. The darkness of the street, Kenji’s grip on his shoulder, the lack of people around… it all began to feel strange. He tried to shake off the feeling, telling himself that he was just tired and paranoid.
Kenji could feel the barista’s discomfort growing, but he didn’t care. He was enjoying the control he had over him, the way he could steer him where he wanted without him even noticing.
"My house is right there." The barista says after they walk for a few more minutes stopping near a small house on a dark street.
Kenji nods, his grip on the barista's shoulder growing tighter. "Alright, we're here then." He glances at the house, taking in the dark surroundings. Perfect. No one would see what he had planned.
"Do you want to come in for a bit? I can make us some tea." The barista says as they walk to the door.
Kenji’s heart races at the invitation, but he keeps his cool. "Sure, that would be nice." he says, trying to sound casual. He follows the barista into the house, his mind already scheming.
The barista turns on the lights, illuminating the living room. It’s a small space, but cozy and homely.
"Please, have a seat." the barista says, gesturing to the couch. "I’ll go make the tea."
Kenji sits down on the couch, letting his eyes wander around the room. He notices the lack of security measures - no cameras, no alarms, no dogs. This would be so much easier than he thought.
The barista disappears into the kitchen, the sound of water running and pots clattering coming from the other room. Kenji leans back against the couch, his mind spinning with dark thoughts. It's all coming together.
After a few minutes, the barista emerges from the kitchen with two steaming mugs of tea. He hands one to Kenji and takes a seat in an armchair across from the couch.
"There you go." he says, taking a sip from his own mug. "I hope you like it."
Kenji takes the mug, pretending to take a sip. He had no intention of drinking it. He keeps his gaze fixed on the barista, studying his every move. He looks so relaxed, so unaware. This is going to be almost too easy.
The barista takes another sip of tea, relaxing back against the armchair. "It's been a long day, hasn't it?" he says, letting out a sigh. "I can't wait to get some sleep."
Kenji nods in agreement, keeping up the facade of normalcy. "Yeah, it was definitely a busy one."
he replies, setting his mug down on the coffee table. He can't help but notice how tired the barista looks, how his eyelids are drooping slightly.
The barista yawns, rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hand. "I think I'm going to head to bed soon. I'm absolutely exhausted."
He gets up from the armchair, setting his empty mug on the table. "Thanks for walking me home, by the way. I appreciate it."
"It was no trouble." Kenji says, standing up as well. The moment he’d been waiting for. He steps forward, closing the distance between them. The barista looks up at him, a flicker of confusion in his eyes.
"Wha-" the barista begins, but Kenji cuts him off by wrapping his arm around his waist, pulling him close in one swift movement.
The barista lets out a gasp of surprise, his body tensing against Kenji's grip. "W-what are you doing?" he stutters, his heart rate suddenly skyrocketing.
Kenji locks eyes with the barista, a sinister smile on his face. "You didn't think I walked you home just out of the kindness of my heart, did you?"

glue song - S.R
Tumblr media
summary: where spence has a dance with you :)
warnings: major fluff, reader is also an agent, spencer’s bi because just because the writers can take it away doesn’t mean it’s staying away,
*reader is gender neutral and description isn’t described!*
Tumblr media
Your home was homey, green walls and dim litted rooms, it made you in awe of it every-time you walked through the door. It made you smile even more when you realise your boyfriend lived in your dream home without you ever knowing.
You and Spence were close before you finally got together, you two were the best of friends, you sat across from him for 3 years feeling sorry for yourself as he talks about a girl he kissed, or a guy he liked wallowing in self pity, wishing it was you he chose to care for, and wish was there when he awoke. And finally your wish came true. And it had been the best years of your life.
Both of you had the day off, you decided to spend finishing up research and baking while Spence had took himself on a walk to the bookstore on the corner before he got groceries. Chocolate fudge cake, with sprinkles of course, was a favourite of Spencer’s so you decided to make it regularly, and any left overs were greatly appreciated by the rest of your team, which is what you were making now. Spencer and you were insanely alike, both of you loving doing your own thing but in the company of each other, more like shared silence, but both of you still needed recharge time and you both have your own ways of doing it.
Their was cocoa powder all over the kitchen, and cake mix on your face, but with the sound of music humming from the record player throughout the appartement, nothing could diminish such a good mood. With birds lightly chirping from the gutter above the window, and the sun shining on the ever growing collection of books, it was a perfect day.
As if on queue, Spencer walked through the door as soon as you thought of perfect, holding bags of groceries and a smile on his face. “Isn’t this a sight for sore eyes” he gushed, heat rushing to your cheeks, as he placed the groceries on the counter placing a kiss to the top of your head.
“Well hello” You smiled towards him, he wore a light washed pair of jeans with a thin jumper along with his shirt and tie, with the glasses that make you smitten, “,this should be done in about 40 minutes”
The glow on his face was nothing but appreciation, an appreciation of you, and your love for him, “I love you” He smiled, a thank you from him.
“I didn’t even do anything”
“Yeah, but you’re here and so i love you” He responded, your heart full.
The piano started, from a track you both adored, ‘Hooked on romance’ from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra filled the room. You looked him in the eye, “Dance with me?”
“Dance with yo-, I can’t dance, i can barely stand without falling” He chuckled, you smacked his shoulder lightly, pleading with him with your eyes, “Fine but you can’t judge me.”
His fingers lightly grasped yours before he pulled you into him to rest your head on his shoulder, as you swayed with him to the song, before he pulled away from you, holding on to your hand to spin you around before pulling you back to him. Your head instantly rested onto him again,
“I feel like i’m stuck to you, like i cant think of my life without you” You whispered.
“Then don’t, stop acting like you’ll become a ghost of my memory, i’m here for you, till forever” He rubbed your back and you both carried on swaying.
A smile appeared on your face, which he felt grow against his chest “Then I guess i’m stuck forever”
