Commander Fox gets hit by a speeder because he was avoiding the Chancellor cause he has zero respect for that old man. The medics are pissed bc this was 100% avoidable.

Coincidentally, Fox’s batchmates are on Coruscant so they all come to visit it him. They all ask how he broke both his legs and several ribs but he just says “I don’t remember” cause he’s too embarrassed to admit he was ditching work. So they ask the medics, who just say “it was Palpatine” and mutter darkly. The batch interprets this as Chancellor Palpatine broke Fox’s legs and gave him internal bleeding.

They react to that misunderstanding as one might expect. By the time the casts come off the war is over and clones have rights. Also Fox never skips a check up again due to the medics having blackmail hanging over his head like a guillotine.

Alpha-17 and Obi-Wan being friends (derogatory) on 17's part and friends (threatening) on Obi-Wan's part is such an underrated dynamic

They could be so funny and terrifying, like Obi-Wan went through a soul shredding experience with Alpha-17 as his only company. They're friends because what else are you gonna be after you witness each other at absolute rock bottom from torture.

It's like 'dog put in cage of cheetah who's threatening to go crazy', except the dog is a grizzly bear and also threatening to go crazy.

Emotional support trooper except the trooper in question has never done any sort of supporting in his life and is actively an emotional distress trooper to a great number of the CC batch.

I want them texting everyday, I want Obi-Wan mailing handmade BFF bracelets to Alpha and Alpha sending pics back of him flipping off the camera but still wearing them, I want Alpha using Obi-Wan to keep track of and occasionally terrorize his cadets, I want 17 ending problems in the GAR (like Krell) before they begin because Obi-Wan has him shipped out on a personal transport at the first opportunity, decked out with slug-throwers Obi-Wan got him for his decant-day.

Natborn officers think this is all just an odd indulgence of General Kenobi, the Vode, however, correctly identify it as a goddamn threat and their danger assessment of Obi-Wan ticks up significantly.

When Alpha arrives on Kamino, Shaak Ti presses a shiny new comm into his hand. It has the Jedi Order symbol painted onto it alongside a smiley face sticker, and it pings immediately with a new message: Hello! I hope you're settling in well!

Alpha stares at the message, stares at the singular contact named 'OWK' and then stares Shaak Ti in the eye as he pitches the comm straight into the ocean. Shaak Ti's serene smile only grows larger as she calmly reaches into her robes and pulls out an identical comm, only this one has a frowny face sticker, and presses it into his hand. It lights up: I'm afraid we've bonded, Alpha :). Alpha shuts it off and pockets it with resignation.

Cody arrives on Alpha-17's personal recommendation.

A-17: He's the most difficult little bastard I have. You're perfect for each other. OWK: Thank you, he's very handsome :3 A-17: No. Stop.

The first thing he asks once he gets comfortable is who his general is texting so much that has him swinging his legs and twirling his hair. Cody assumes it's Anakin, given they seem joint at the hip anyway, but little does he know Obi-Wan's ability to consistently have the Weirdest Relationships Ever.

"Oh, it's Alpha-17, I understand you're familiar with each other?" Hmm. OK. Cody.exe is experiencing a processing error, please hold. He exits the room instead of answering. The next day he peeks over the General's shoulder when he's texting and sees walls of rambling messages from Obi-Wan. Alpha-17 replies every hour with a single text: Lose this number. Obi-Wan giggles. "He's so funny." he says.

When Obi-Wan meets the rest of the CC batch, Cody makes sure to stand perfectly angled so that he can record the reactions when his general cuts off their introductions with "Oh, no need, Alpha-17's told me all about you." It's always immediate FEAR.JPG followed by a slow spiral of What The Fuck.

What do you mean by that General. What does that mean Cody. What do you mean they text. No. Cody. What the fuck is happening, Cody. Alpha-17 doesn't have friends he has enemies and enemies he tolerates enough not to shoot on sight.

OWK: Wolffe reached for his vambrace? when I mentioned you A-17: That's where he keeps his spare knife. OWK: Hm that does explain the way he eyed me up, ambitious. A-17: Clearly not enough, he should have followed through. I taught them better.

I need more fanfics where Cody and Obi-Wan are not normal about each other, and I don't mean that in a Anakin and Padme way alright?

I want them both to be completely aware of their feelings for each other, they are adults (tm) and know how to deal with their emotions in a professional settings okay? They're not normal about each other in every other way tho, which means that they are both in desperate need for enrichment and provide it for one another by for example challenging or simply insulting each other in increasingly ridiculous ways. They hold hands, they break each other's noses, they are both so very neurodivergent and see the most bizarre things as a way to show affection or delight.

Obi-Wan is delighted by Cody simply ignoring his dramatics (almost like a cat would be), and is increasing his ridiculousness by the hour to get a reaction. Prime feral time and enrichment for him.

Cody in turn gets a kick out of ignoring or straight up insulting him. Almost a power dynamic swap and yet none of them ever seems to really care about it. Cody also likes the closeness Obi-Wan very casually gifts him (especially holding hands). It's almost like two Cats getting to know and love each other only both cats think that they are the one who is actually the human person in this relationship lol.

I think that way too many people gloss over the reason why exactly those 6 men were such a big deal and a last straw for the crew and Eurylychous. Up to this point Odysseus made mistakes, yes, and people died because of them but never before has Odysseus made such a deliberate sacrifice.

Before this, he was still their Capitan - a bit arrogant, too prone to playing into Gods' Games and with a damnation right on his heels - but still on their side. Not to mention that this saga happens SO soon after Circe Saga, where he CAME BACK for them, put himself in grave danger and risked his return home to save THEM. Since the wind bag fuck up, this crew must have regained so much trust in him, Eurylychous must have felt so indebted and plagued by his own guilt because of his actions in Ocean Saga and Circe Saga. Because despite their doubts and question of How Much Longer Till His Luck Runs Out, their Capitan still came and saved them.

And then the Different Beast happens and it's ruthless and cruel but it's against their enemies, it feels like protection, no doubt. It's their Capitan making sure that they can make it home, that no other monster will follow them and make it impossible.

But then the Scylla happens and it never has been more clearer than there. Eurylychous would not be that furious if he didn't realize and he IS a second-in-command, he is not stupid. Six men who held the torches died and it was by Odysseus' order. This is no longer slaying every foe on the way home, this is Odysseus willing to sacrifice even them. Is it the same capitan who came back for them on Circe's island, is the same who always did everything he could to make sure they all made it back? How Are They Supposed To Trust Him Now?

This situation is so fucked and both sides have their point, I'm so sick of seeing posts putting the full blame on either side. They are all human and stressed and they don't know what to trust, what to do to come back home - and the worst part of it all, they probably never stood a chance.

After all, Zeus has already said they The Blood On Your Hands Is Something You Can't Lose, All You Can Choose Is Whose.

Will Solace is actually a very bossy, reckless and controlling character but y’all aren’t ready for that conversation…

Like, even Nico was surprised at how someone could answer him BACK. The son of Hades, used to other’s getting intimidated by him and their rejection towards him, was surprised by someone actually rebelling against how he expected him to react to his command.

Just PAGES before meeting Will, Nico noted that he enjoyed seeing Dakota and the other girl intimidated by his presence. And then Will came along and told him straight in the face to piss off, he forced Nico to accompany him instead of shadow traveling and criticized him for wanting to leave camp.

THAT is what initially attracted Nico to Will. The fact that someone could stand up to him and not cower away. Nico lets Will lead him to the infirmary after the battle, he lets Will do some action instead of him attacking those Roman soldiers, he lets Will take him to Octavian. He lets. Nico di Angelo never lets people do anything with or to him.

It’s because Will insisted and basically forced himself onto Nico’s life that intrigued Nico. Because no one has acted like that with him, because no one at camp has tried to get close to him unless it is for dire help (cough Percy)

I hc they always bicker and fight as a way of flirting, but when it gets serious, Nico is the first to give in. Not just because he doesn’t like seeing Will angry, but because Will is a stubborn mf who just won’t let go of an argument.

Plus, Nico is more of an “internal fighter”, instead of wording his grudges he keeps them in him, only mumbles them (until he explodes, i.e. Bryce). Will is the opposite, he would never hold a grudge, but boy does he whine and fight about it when it comes up (this is more of a hc).

More Clone Wars things I think the DC Fandom should borrow: Clone Commanders (accidentally or intentionally) putting their interpersonal drama in the “All Hands” or “Priority” chat.

Bruce is standing on a rooftop in Gotham hitting decline, downgrade chat, downgrade chat, decline priority upgrade, decline, decline, decline and Jim Gordon is like “everything okay?” because that’s a lot of buzzing. Usually that many notifications means something’s on fire. And Bruce has to find a way to say “nothing is on fire, Jason saw Dick mess up a flip on patrol earlier and thought the entire family comms network should see the clip” without actually, you know, just saying that (thank god for grunts)
