Fics for Palestine! 🖤❤️🤍💚
Hey, beautiful Tumblr besties!
Do you want a fic and to support a good cause? A super specific fic? Want to ensure you are fed those Monkey Man fics you're needing? Or have you sent me a request and want me to hurry up and write it (Sorry I do take my time with writing)? THEN READ
I will write and prioritise requests from you and have them posted on Tumblr NO LATER THAN MAY 31ST!!!!
All you need to do is send same day confirmation to me either in the ask box or as a message of donating to a fund or organisation on the Operation Olive Branch list! This could be a family's Go Fund Me page for evacuating Palestine, the UNRWA fund, or eSims for Gaza etc.
This is the Operation Olive Branch's linktree page
I don't know what the response will be to this, if miraculously so many people were interested that I was too overwhelmed I would come up with a new date or close temporarily and 'reopen' for June. We'll see how this does, but I will be regularly updating this!
I will write for the following characters:
Any Pedro Pascal characters
Any Oscar Isaac characters
Any Dev Patel characters
Any Fallout characters
Any Succession characters (not Old Guard or Greg lol but even Tom!)
Tommy Miller (TLOU)
Any The Bear characters
Marvel characters like Matt Murdock, Wanda, Bucky etc.
And more I just can't think of, you're more than welcome to ask about a certain character in comments, DMs or in my inbox before donating as well 🫶
What I will write:
I'll write fluff, angst, smut, or any combination! I will write plus size readers, poc readers, disabled readers etc. I will write female readers, and gender-neutral readers, I'm bi/queer so am happy to write wlw fics if you desire Shiv or some Wanda with an f reader or more straight ones- whatever you want! Requests can be as vague or as specific as you want!
If you want Kendall and Stewy's conversation the night before his wedding to Rava with some angst, you got it! If you wanted to request a plus-size reader to go on a bookstore date with a contemporary Ezra, you got it! It's pretty open to your dreams!
I won't write fics that are nonconsensual, 'dark', heavy kink, gore, vore, paedophilia, and nothing with under-18 readers or characters (this includes characters 'aged up' for a fic).
My masterlist is here for navigation and if you aren't familiar with my work but want to get an idea!!! Chaithetics Masterlist
Moving on.....
If you donate 5 USD, CAD, GBP, EURO whatever currency that fund is in:
I will write a fic with your request that is at least 500 words long and is posted no later than May 31st.
If you donate 10 USD, CAD, GBP, EURO whatever currency that fund is in:
I will write a fic with your request that is at least 1,000 words long and is posted no later than May 31st.
If you donate 50 USD, CAD, GBP, EURO whichever currency that fund is in:
I will write a fic with your request that is at least 4,000 words long and is posted no later than May 31st.
Why is this important?
We need to help out and do our part to not be complicit in Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people. Palestinians are begging for our attention and aid, since October 7th 2023, Israel has murdered over 35,000 Palestinians, displacing the survivors so many and committing numerous war crimes. Israel's expulsion, ethnic cleansing and war crimes have been terrorising the Palestinian people and land since 1948. We all have a part to play, so get involved with this if you like, please contact your local representatives and government, keep engaging with Palestinian content and voices, support the funds if you can- I know that's not accessible to everyone, attend rallies, protests, and vigils in support of Palestine. Do what you can, what is physically, emotionally and financially accessible to you.
I'd love it if you could share this as well, especially for my mutuals and others in these fandoms with much bigger platforms (I have a humble 300 followers, that I adore) and also for other writers to consider doing something like this! Thank you for reading this far, let's stay empathetic and support each other in these trying times 🖤❤️🤍💚

ITS SNAKE O' CLOCK!!! yay yippee wahoo! have you decided what you're doing with him or are you just thinking abt him :O?
Rotating him in my mind for my own sanity because I got to the part in Path of Stars where they've just. Completely retconned everything about him for the sake of forcefully making everyone of value forgive Clear Sky. The only person who stays mad at Clear Sky forever actually just liked One Eye better
Even though we saw him, on screen, looking at the camera and being like, "I Do Not Like Clear Sky Because His Bad Judgement Caused Us To Be Permanently Branded By A Tyrant Like We Were A Herd Of Texas Steers."
They did him SO dirty, man!! SO SO dirty!!!!!
On that note though, I HAVE decided on a few things!
So, on the note of defectors, Snake is going to be one of the very last ones. While I absolutely adore him, I think it's very important and meaningful that he is one of his most loyal cats.
Snake is a Mountain cat, and it's looking like he is going to be part of the Claw Family.
The Claw Family consists of Fox Claw and Petal Claw to begin with. I have an inkling of an idea that Petal Claw actually leaves while pregnant-- possibly escaping someone unsavory back at home.
I feel like she doesn't really enjoy romance. She's ambitious and ferocious, and whoever her lover was, was quite controlling.
Unfortunately it's a big reason why she's so committed to Clear Sky. She has that sort of unaddressed mindset that abuse often leaves you with.
"No, I know what an awful person is because of what I went through, and I'm telling you, Clear Sky is not that. YOU'Re actually the problem."
And, in turn, Clear Sky rewards her a lot. She is one of his favorite cats, she gets a TON of benefits for her loyalty. Tyrannical, terrible two of them.
Besties (threat)
Snake Claw and Red Claw would have been the first births in the forest, but Bright Storm gave birth early because of the stress and thus Thunder Storm came first.
So Snake and Red were brought up by Petal Claw and Fox Claw, in early Sky's Clan.
Fox and Petal were ADAMANTLY loyal to Clear Sky. They remained behind in the Shadow/Sky split, hissing and spitting at those who chose to follow Tall Shadow.
I feel like Fox was actually their primary parent. They call him Uncle, but he acted a lot more like a dad. It gave Petal more time to go do bad bitch things.
When Clear Sky murders Misty, much much later, Petal is given the kittens as a reward for her loyalty. Having more kits is a point of status, and she's very happy to accept the reward.
So, the Claw family becomes "huge" in a short period of time on this evil action. Petal Claw, Fox Claw, Snake Claw, Red Claw, Alder Claw, Birch Claw.
For Snake, he's raised accepting all this as good and normal. At some point, Fox Claw is killed in some kind of frighteningly violent, unnecessary, bloodthirsty skirmish that Clear Sky aggrieves, and Snake Claw doubles down right along with Petal.
He also does a lot of the WORST things on behalf of Clear Sky. He IS going to have a body count-- though he will no longer be killing BB!Frost (now Sunlit Frost), he does bite him on the good paw during The First Battle.
This bite goes septic, after Sunlit REFUSES to sit out gravedigging, helping to bury his friends and family with an open wound. He already has nerve damage in the other arm from his severe burn.
This choice, because he wouldn't take a break when he was told to, ends up MASSIVELY disabling him. Once a master builder and inventor, he loses his dominant paw and has chronic pain in the other one. He can't build anymore after this.
After Snake Claw defects, I actually really want them to struggle with this. Snake doesn't feel like it's fair to blame him for what Sunlit did to himself, but he's also NEW to Thunder's Clan later, and there's not a lot of people on his side.
And Sunlit is a person who holds grudges... but it's also true that it's kinda not fair, since Snake Claw is trying to apologize for it.
Somehow it's unsatisfying and frustrating, knowing that Snake Claw is only apologizing because everyone wants him to. But how can you expect him to be sincere about something the BOTH of you feel is not entirely his fault?
It's like Sunlit wanted to have him to blame, but that's hard when he's not Clear Sky's Minion anymore.
In the past, I'd gone back and forth on if Red Claw or Snake Claw defected, and now I'm realizing.... por que no los dos? Por que no los TRES?
Since I've committed to adding a third group and expanding on the Forest cats, this is going to mean that Snake's younger "adopted" siblings NEED to have full arcs with this.
While one of them will remain with Clear Sky, becoming a cultural "justification" for the practice of Kitten Stealing, which will plague Clan culture for generations, I think something is fascinating in the idea that they're the ONLY Claw to remain with SkyClan.
Petal Claw and Fox Claw die in battle, "honored" for their sacrifice.
Red Claw defects for ThunderClan first, after falling for the charms of Acorn Swoop
Alder Claw likely follows later... reconnecting with Misty's mate, Milkweed, who has been fighting for MOONS for this very moment
And, lastly, Snake will follow.
(It is also bitterly funny to me that it means Milkweed loses Misty, but then ends up gaining all of Petal's biokids. Never speak to me or my daughter or my son or my son or my daughter or my daughter or my daughter-in-law ever again)
Because Snake Claw will be the very last of the Claw family to defect, I'm thinking it's after the end of BB!DOTC, and over in Thunderstar's Justice.
KEEP the fact that Snake Claw leaves because of Skystar bringing One Eye into the Clan. Even keep the fact that most of SkyClan is loyal to their tyrant-- Snake Claw has woken up to the truth, and realizes he has family elsewhere who loves and misses him.
Well.... hopefully they still do. After everything.
Snake Claw should have a ton of fights with Red Claw and Alder Claw, I think, before the First Battle. Have them all be covered in scars
Because the whole family defects, it's easy for it to become a sensational story about Nepotism/Scabforming. Other Clans probably don't hold Snake, Red, and Alder in high esteem in their myths-- but until Darkstar's Commandment which bans Kitten Stealing, Birch Claw was easily the most venerated.
Aaaand that's it so far! I know for a fact now that Snake Claw is going to be a member of the Claw family, and that he is going to be a MAJOR antagonist through BB!DOTC. In Thunderstar's Justice, he's going to join his living family after finally being able to realize that Skystar is not worth following.
I want to keep that he is a villain for most of the story, because that's what I like best about the way he turns on Clear Sky from canon. He was everything Skystar ever wanted, he did every awful command, the blood is already dried under his claws forever and he was rewarded only with a permanent scarring.
Then, told it's "MY way or the HIGH way," he chooses the high way.

Vampire-au Victorian Edition
I‘m still working on a overview of all the primarchs backstories in this au, so until I finished that, have a castlist of the victorian au!
Konrad Curze: Orphaned street child probally around 12, small time criminal and newly turned vampire. Doesn‘t think much of high society social norms and will continue to ignore them no matter what Fulgrim does. Adjusting to beeing a vampire surprisingly well
Fulgrim: Vampiric socialite and ex-renaissance-painter (They died before their career ever really got off the ground). Trying and failing at not letting the supernatural crazyness around them mess up their live too much, and new parent to a baby vampire. Yes, they love Konrad very much, don‘t let them tell you otherwise.
Magnus Rubeus: Eccentric researcher of about everything. Yes, the science is ethically dubious. It‘s the victorian era, what do you expect? Also a vampire and very old at that. Currently also living in London and thus spending quite some time with his very good friend Fulgrim and newest study subject Konrad
Sanguinius: One of the oldest vampire in the emps/primarch-clan. Currently very busy on travels overseas because damn they need a break and probally won‘t be back for quite a while. Ocean liners and trains are much slower than airplanes after all
Ferrus Manus: Another vampire, another one of Fulgrim‘s very very good friends. Has no idea what to do with high society but also he likes Fulgrim so he‘ll endure some dinner parties from time to time.
N‘Kari: Very wealthy, widowed at least thrice, probally (a little) high at all time and ambiguosly mortal. Fulgrim‘s very problematic Bestie
Sevatar: Konrad‘s friend from when they both lived on the street and a few years older. No, he definetly isn‘t about to commit any famous murders in 1888 London. What makes you think that?
Shang: A stableboy (or some other kind of servant) Konrad ends up befriending. He is just hoping that all this bullshit won‘t get him fired
There are definetly gonna be more characters, Rushal is absolutly going to make a appearence later on and I‘m working on ideas for how to get more Emperor‘s Children Characters in here

Awful Characters Round 2 Part 1 (2/8)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda under the cut!
IANTHE TRIDENTARIUS
Her number one hobby is ruining every person's that she knows life. Her second hobby is being soooo slutty about it despite looking like a literal wet rat. Her third hobby is having an extremely unhealthy relationship with her twin. Her other hobbies include cannibalism, wearing a maid outfit, being extremely convinced she is the main character, the badboy sexy love interest and the villain. 'Why', you may ask. Well, the answer is, for shits and giggles #justgirlythings i, aswell as literally everybody else in the fandom have gone through the pipeline from hating her to desperately wanting to fuck her. expect for i still fucking hope she dies and doesn't come back for good. (that would literally solve all of everybody's problems) as god intended (EXPECT FOR. one of her hobbies literally is gaslighting god) She is fucking horrible i will love her until i die and even after that
parks and recs jean ralphio voice she's the woooorst!! The moment she learns she has to kill someone to become a Lyctor (aka a more special necromancer), she doesn't hesitate to kill and cannibalize the guy who has been her cavalier since childhood… cavalier who she also totally bullied as kids, she was allowed to choose one guest for her and her twin sister's birthday party each year, and she would always pick whoever she thought her cavalier didn't want to see there! While other characters are shown to regret the process of becoming a Lyctor (which involves someone close to them dying)/were forced into it because of circumstances, Ianthe has absolutely no regrets, she believes she did what she had to do
The author once said of Ianthe: "I don't think she's been nice to anyone, if she has I'll go back and change it." She killed and ate the soul of someone she has known all her life so that she could become a necromantic saint and tormented him plenty before that. General negging, ganging up against him, always inviting people he didn't like to their birthday parties. She doesn't regret killing him. I think she is repulsed by the idea that his digested soul is affecting hers. She helped her crush lobotomise herself so she would be in Ianthe's debt, and later lied and said she didn't see the corpse of a woman her crush killed under her bed (why did she do that? I do not know). She has a bone arm because her original arm was cut off, she hated the replacement so her crush cut THAT off and grew her a new one out of just bones. She had it gilded and only after that did she decide to help her crush deal with the person who had been repeatedly trying to kill her. She wants so badly to be the main character but people keep interrupting her villain monologues.
she has her own content warning tag
She's such a bitch to everyone all the time, she causes nothing but problems, she tries to do a villain speech but fumbles it because her tummy hurt, she is the awfulgirl of all time
THE SKULL
he is an evil ghost who used to be an assistant to a mad scientist gravedigger. accomplice to murder and torture and general evil scheming. now he lives in a jar and is besties with a teenage girl. and by besties i mean he encourages her to kill people and constantly cheers when her friends almost die. overall a silly little decapitated head <3
It is literally a skull in a jar. (More context if you don’t know the books/show: it’s a ghost source that’s been trapped in a silver container so it can’t escape. And it’s exceptionally powerful which means it can actually communicate with mc.) It frequently encourages the mc to commit various morally reprehensible acts such as homicide (she never does). When it was alive, it was a teenage boy who was apprenticed to an evil scientist.

Umineko Episode 5 Theory Crafting
This episode has more or less been an exploration of HOW to solve the mystery, and while I really appreciate all the help Ryukishi is giving me it doesn't make sense to repeat the actual text of the story and call it a theory, so I'll just be combining all my theories about the wider mystery for this one, in no particular order:
Battler's sin is making a promise / confession to Shannon and then bailing for the next six years. She's heartbroken by him, and that directly or indirectly led to the massacre. Normally I wouldn't suggest mass murder over a lame man, but considering Battler's rejection had her getting together with George I think I can make an exception. She's justified
Speaking of Shannon, I think she's the culprit for all the unsolvable murders, or at least involved with them somehow. "But she was confirmed dead!!" True but that was only as Shannon, I can see her using "Sayo" as a loophole. Shannon can die metaphorically speaking and Sayo can still be kicking it and shooting people, as she deserves. This also could apply to Kanon, especially regarding the second twilight in Episode 2
I have a feeling Rosa is involved in at least some of the Episode 2 deaths and Eva I'm pretty sure is confirmed to have played a part in the Episode 3 ones, but Natsuhi isn't a culprit in Episode 1. I have no proof but I love her. Overall, I think Shannon takes more of a "mastermind" role, since just about everyone else can be bribed into being a culprit or accomplice
Bc of the above, I think both Battler and Beatrice are right-- since the witches / furniture seem to be a magical extrapolation of things in the real world (Chiester sisters are the forest animal band, Virgilia is Kumasawa, Ronove is Genji, etc) I think Beatrice is Shannon's magical counterpart. Beatrice IS the culprit like she's been claiming, since Beatrice is a proxy for Shannon, but technically there's always been a human culprit
The "accident" that wiped out the family mentioned in Episode 3 is an earthquake. I don't have proof I just can't think of anything else and the irony would be really funny. I have a feeling Battler's fear of falling is related to this part of the narrative but I don't know how
The seven stakes are supposed to represent guns. The reason they got driven so deep is bc the deaths were never stabbing, just guns. bang bang.
There's smth fishy about the whole Missing Child (tm) thing from Episode 5. The idea that Kinzo just. Gave her a child? without Krauss there??? and then covered the whole thing up before he got back???????? It's giving a lot of He Would Not Fucking Say That and I don't think that's exactly what happened. I do think Natsuhi committed infanticide though. sorry bestie
Magic isn't "real" in the traditional sense but I do think there's gonna be a moral about how alternate truths and white lies are their own kind of magic and it's wrong to destroy that
Erika is going to have a full blown breakdown in Chapter 6 and I cannot WAIT
Ok that's all I can think of rn, might add stuff to this later!

ooooh can u tell something abt the western au :3c
Me and Jay ( @darkfire1177 ) work on ideas for Western AU together! :]
Soooo, many have been around long enough to know I've drawn Faith and Max in gothic cowboy inspired outfits in the past. All my Cowboy Max ideas stem from banter in Murder on Eridanos where Max gets a bit enthusiastic talking about Free Range Fixer and then immediately trying to change the subject. This also makes so many of my Max and Spencer dynamics so much more interesting and hilarious to me. Also, don't you think he'd just look so dashing as a cowboy 💖😩💖
ANYWAY
One of my favorite ideas Jay and I have formulated, has to do a bit later in the story after Faith and Max are already close and they become good friends with Jasper!
Jasper's family is still alive and they own a ranch! At some point, Faith and Max are invited to visit, stay for dinner, meet the family, all that good stuff. And we thought it would be really special, since neither Faith or Max have any family and hardly have any friends, if they were to be invited to be a part of Jasper's family 🥺
We have some other ideas abt who all appears in this au and what everyone's roles in town would be.. but I love love love us talking about Max still having a complicated relationship with his religion and if Jasper's family essentially offers him an opportunity out of the priesthood by inviting him to become a ranch hand, if that were a path he'd be willing to go down. He'd have to take off the collar and commit to that kind of work, but hey, it's an AU for funsies, it's for us to enjoy.
I've got SO many ideas and interactions cookin' in my head, I can't wait to talk to Jay more about them and actually draw out some things this year!!
Anyway everyone go give my bestie @darkfire1177 some love 💖💕💖💕

As much as I love having the Dark Urge as a customizable player character background because Nox is my babygirl sugarplum mass murderer, I think it would have been fucking incredible to have them be a companion. You wake up on the beach and find a heavily amnesiac person also suffering a tadpole infestation. But they're pretty likeable and seem a capable fighter. Really capable. Better take them along.
They're a little weird though. Twitchy as you pull Gale out of the portal. Looking at Astarion oddly. A little too into being covered in blood. Dude seriously, you want to eat the bbq dwarf??? Anyway.
Maybe you gain their trust and they admit that they dream of unspeakable violence and have urges to commit them when awake. Maybe you take them seriously. Maybe you brush it off like everyone else. Maybe you never learn about this. But then one morning you wake up and your amnesiac is standing over a fresh desecrated dead bard.
Well fuck. Maybe you expel them from camp, wash your hands of this nightmare. But on the other hand, they're a super great fighter and you do enjoy their company. Maybe this is a one off and you can help them try to control this inexplicable urge. Maybe you think you can harness and guide this urge to suit your own purposes. So you keep them around.
Where'd they get that sweet invisibility cape? Don't worry about it. You have bigger fish to fry.
And then you get that Last Light. Will they admit to wanting to kill Isobel? I guess that depends on how much they trust you. Maybe if they don't trust you, they'll go rogue in the fight and kill her without telling you. Maybe they'll admit to it and you have a choice. Is the prize they said they're promised worth Last Light sight unseen? Or will you encourage them to not kill Isobel? Maybe they listen to you. Maybe they don't. But if they do... you might wake up with a knife at your throat. Or find them pinning down another companion. Maybe you'll convince them to resist. Maybe you can't and a companion dies.
Regardless of Isobel or potential companion murder, you have a choice to make. Are they worth keeping around? They're clearly dangerous, and it can't entirely be controlled. But it mostly worked out okay this time, right? And you do really like their personality when they aren't behaving rabidly. And if they have it, that giant monster form is sure to come in handy later when you start taking on bigger foes, right?
So you keep them and then you get to Baldur's Gate and what the fuck do you mean Gortash was besties with them and made the whole Absolute scheme together? What the fuck do you mean that pasty weird shapeshifter girl is your "sister"? What the fuck do you mean you're the scion of Bhaal, the God of Murder. I mean it makes perfect sense but... What the fuck man.
They don't know, they're as clueless as you are. They have no idea how things should proceed. So they continue to defer to you and assist as needed. Things just keep getting weirder but honestly everyone traveling with you has their own special nightmare that needs resolved so. Keep trucking.
And then you reach the temple of Bhaal. Hoo boy. Are they going to reject Bhaal after the showdown with their sister? Well, I guess that depends on your actions so far. Have you gained their trust? Did you refrain from slaughtering the Grove? Have you helped them resist the Urge at Last Light/companion problems? Then yeah, they'll reject Bhaal and everything will be fine. Congrats, they're (mostly) normal now after Withers resurrects them. The game continues normally.
But maybe you didn't do those things. Maybe they don't trust you. Or maybe you've been encouraging them this whole time in a bid to use their violence to your gains. They swear themself to Bhaal as Chosen. Jaheira tries to convince you how bad a choice this is. Maybe you finally agree this is a problem that needs to be nipped in the bud and help her kill them. Or maybe you're just that sure of yourself that you have them properly harnessed despite their fealty to Bhaal. And you help them slay Jaheira to keep everyone else in line.
And then maybe when all is said and done... They kill you and the Emperor, and take control of the Brain in the name of their Father. Because you were too blind to see that their Father was pulling the strings all along, and you were unknowingly the puppet of your own demise.

Dear PTJ, please develope your female characters
Someone complaining abt the way PTJ writes his female characters (truly, a never seen before concept); 1st Afilliate Arc and Cheongliang Arc spoilers (at this point, I think most people are up to date w/ the story, but I'm still gonna put this warning just in case)
Look, I don't take Lookism super seriously. In fact, I think I never did that, mainly thanks to the outlandish concepts it had since the beginning. I'm just here to have fun at this point, and to finally learn the truth about Daniel's 2nd body (omg, it's been 400+ chapters-).
I definitely wasn't expecting to find super well written female characters (even though I definitely should, it's 2024, for God's sake-), something a good number of fighting-related webtoons seem to struggle with. But damn, does Lookism waste its female characters in a way not many have done before.
Since the focus of the story has shifted primarly towards fighting and taking down the Four Crews and Charles Choi, I'm gonna focus on two of the characters most connected to these aspects: Mary Kim and Crystal Choi (ik Lua and Sally are also connected in this way, but I don't really have a lot to say about them and, besides, they've already been covered by another user here on Tumblr)
Mary Kim
The perfect opportunity to get her more involved came up not so long ago, in the ep just before the Allied vs 1st Afilliate fight properly started. We see Mary's reaction upon hearing Vin Jin tell her that Taejin Cheon is alive; we can see her anger asclear as day both in her expression and her words. She literally expresses how much she wants to kill this guy.
And yet, PTJ doesn't make her go and get her revenge. Instead, we have Vin Jin basically saying that he will do it for her because 'his hands are already dirty" (i heavily paraphrased his words, but you get it), which to me, at least, doesn't make sense.
Time and time again we see how close the two of them are in spite of the many jabs they throw at each other. Even without knowing the details of their shared past in Cheongliang (which comes up a couple episodes later), it's very strange that she would let Vin jin go to face him just like that.
By this point, it's already stablished that he murdered somebody, an act that even if deserved by the deceased person, takes a mental toll on the one who does it. Taking this into account, I don't see why Mary would just let who's basically her best friend go through the same thing again, alone. And I especially don't see why she would obey him and stay behind. Her, Mary, the person who never takes Vin Jin's bullshit and always calls him out.
Why not have them both go together? It would be a great opportunity to 1) deal with the last negative reminder of their past, and gain a little bit of closure once and for all, and 2) have Mary finally fight seriously and be able to demonstrate why she's called 'The Empress of Two Seconds' and why she's considered so strong.
We've only seen her take down minor opponents a very, very small number of times, all of which are altercations that don't ever last too long (i guess this last thing is to back up her nickname but, eh)
TLDR: Let Mary dirty her hands as much as Vin. Let them take down together one of the people who has brought them so much pain as the pair of strong besties they are. Stop telling us how strong she is and actually commit to showing it.
__
Crystal Choi
Oh boy, this character-
Like, you mean to tell me that the sole offspring/child of the Big Bad Guy tm the protagonist and his friends are meant to take down, who also happens to be friends with said protagonist, doesn't play a major role on the story? Absolutely insane
And that isn't even taking into account that she also has 2 bodies, which is something only one other character (Daniel, the PROTAGONIST), has and is a major plot point
I'd like to see her be more aware of her privilege as a rich person. Yeah, she was relentlesstly bullied and undermined for her appeareance (which is a horrible thing for anybody to go through) but at least she wasn't poor, too. Does she actually use her money or her status as the daughter of one of the richest men in Korea to change things or solve problems?
Jay literally bought an ambulance of the same type used by the 1st Afilliate so that Allied could sneak in, so why can't Crystal do something similar to help them, too? She helped them during the Gambling Arc by bringing Kouji
I'd like to see her realize and come to terms with the fact that her father's a horrible person. I don't think she knows everything that's going on behind closed doors, but she's definitely smart enough to have noticed that there's something shady going on with his bussiness.
Let her discover the truth. Let her pick either her father's or Daniel's side (the latter which I believe is the most plausible, since she doesn't seem the type to excuse murder, extorsion, etc.). She could act as an informant, helping Allied from the inside.
Heck, you could have her fight, too, if you wanted to. She trained with Gun, after all. And yeah, maybe she's not as strong as the other characters, but we know that she can hold her own against most people. We've seen it.
TLDR: how the hell do you set up a character with so much potential and don't do anything with it. Also, think abt the angst potential!
________________________________________________
Final thoughts, I guess:
I think that Crystal siding with Allied has a higher chance of happening than PTJ letting Mary fight. There's still a good chunk of the story yet to be told, so anything could happen.
I'm actually considering believing that the reason we rarely see the female characters is that they, also, are working secretly to take down the Four Crews and it's gonna get revealed in the last arc for the sake of my sanity

Angsty hc time: Tommy and Buck are fooling around and like Buck is into it but he's still a bit tentative (holy shit I'm making out with a guy this is so cool I hope I don't fuck it up) and Tommy accidentally moans "Yeah fuck just like that..."
Cue Buck ripping his clothes off and giving him the sloppiest, most enthusiastic blowjob of his life. Where tf did that come from? Yeah Tommy will ponder that later, once his soul returns to his body.
A few weeks later, they're testing out some new equipment at the station and Buck is acing it. Naturally Eddie's pumped for his bestie (and still speaking AT TOTALLY NORMAL VOLUMES) so he just tells "Yeah Buck! Just like that!" which makes Buck lose control of the hose as he bluescreens.
But it's ok. Tommy is still grateful that he was able to help Evan figure out who he is (which is apparently a bj savant). Just would've been nice to be someone's first choice
Instead of a cheap proxy fuck
But it's fine! It's all good!
He just needs to be somewhere else, away from the rest of the 118 while they laugh...
Someone call 911, a crime has been committed
It’s me, I’ve been murdered by the words “cheap proxy fuck”

*holds you at gunpoint*
Spill the beans about William, bestie
Asghdichsj Oki.
So like. Motivation wise he's just super interesting because he has this mixture of motivations, right? Initially, your thought when you find out he's the killer is that he's doing this to avenge his father but then he reveals it was also - in part - because he wants to "fix" the force (by murder) with Zeke.
And that's really fucking interesting because he says himself, he was 12 when he started to want to kill officers. And that it was fifteen years ago his dad died. That means that William has held such a deep rooted hatred for fifteen years. His entire teenage life, and the beginning of his adulthood, has been consumed by this anger and resentment and hatred that, when we see him at 27 in Spiral, he's mellowed out but it's always there. Just below the surface. And the furthest he gets to showing it is when the entire facade drops and he just turns apathetic and pushy to kill Zeke's dad.
His mind has somehow intertwined the ideas that he needs to fix the police force - and the only way to do that is through murder - and that Zeke is going to be the only one willing to help him.
And I think that the fact that he wants help to be so damn interesting because he doesn't need it! He kills, at minimum, five people, across THREE days, and has part in killing a sixth (there's a removed death of another cop later on), and he did that by himself. He doesn't need Zeke's help. But he's got it in his head that it'll work better if he does get Zeke's help. And having that as one of his motivations is why I think he wants, in part, to kill his dad.
Because Zeke's dad is obviously a dirty cop, but Zeke needed to be there and understand that he couldn't save his dad - just like William wasn't able to - in order to, I guess, get him to understand why he's doing all of this? Like. It's a "in order to understand, you need to go through what I went through. I'm going to show you what happened, I'll give you motivation like you gave me" and that's why William repeats the action of shushing Zeke like Zeke did to him all those years ago. Because it's the parallel.
And I honestly think that, if Zeke turned and shot William, William would have accepted that as his death. By that point, he is also a dirty cop. He won't be blamed for any of it either - Zeke is alone, his fingerprints on the murder weapon, his dad (who he's known to have issues with being in the shadow of) strung up, bleeding out. William has done what he needs, he's not wanted by Zeke, he doesn't need to live.
And I'm just so. Let me chew William's brain honestly. And like!!!
The fact that Zeke didn't shoot William is also extremely telling, too. I think Zeke, to almost a fault, wants to trust William and his words, because he understands why he has issue with the system that he's working in. Zeke has seen the dirt of the station, and he wants to stop that just as much. So when he's faced with "saving his dad" or "killing William", he's going to save his dad.
And I am so interested by this decision because he chooses an option that doesn't stop the murder. Like. He knows that William, if he gets away, is going to continue to commit more murders on the police force. And yet Zeke choses to let William live, trust that it'll save his dad. Even though like. None of the other traps have had any method of letting the police get out alive. None of them.
AND THATS WHY I LOVE SPIRAL. It's got like. Traps that are intentionally created by the original creator to be inescapable. A murderer with more motivation than "value your life" and his desired apprentice wants nothing to do with it. And I want a sequel purely to show how Zeke deals with the knowledge that the supposed dead man "William Schenk" is the killer. How is he going to navigate that? Who does he tell, if any? Does he get found by William after it all to continue the murders? Does he ever go along with it?
Because I don't think Zeke, initially, wanted to kill any others.
I know he said he would help to William, but I honestly don't think he would be able to do that with a clear conscience.
I think he could be pushed to that, absolutely.
Like if he came back talking about how it was William, and nobody believes him because why would they? And he gets even more shit because they all low-key think it's him but because there's no other evidence than him just. Being at the last crime scene when it went down, he can't be arrested or something. But like.
I do think he could get there in time and it would be an interesting dynamic to explore, especially since the other jigsaw apprentices in the past were so like. Wrecked through everything else that they, honestly, had nowhere else to turn? Especially Mandy. Love her but she needed therapy, not murder.
But just.
Yeah. Now I'm rambling more about spiral as a whole instead of just William. I just think he's super interesting as a jigsaw copycat. :)))))

Group C, Round 2, Poll 2:
Tumblr media
Propaganda under the cut
Vex
When one of the main characters, Zane, is trapped in the Never Realm, he has his memories erased because Vex unplugged him during an important reboot (he's a robot btw) Seeing the opportunity, Vex gaslight and girlbossed Zane into thinking he was the ruler of the realm, (Zane is definitely not) and that Vex was trying to restore his spot on the throne. Long story short he tricks Zane into committing genocide for 40-50 years by freezing people to death (quite literally slay) because Vex told him to, and warped his perception of the world. He gatekeeps Zane from his friends when they come back to save him and further gaslights him like "bestie idk what these guys are talking about, ur the Ice Emperor, not ''Zane', kill them darling" it's a joke in the fandom that his villain arc was being gaslit too hard. This show gets really dark at times but we like to joke about how bad the Ice Chapter is. In conclusion Vex girlbosses himself into becoming the right hand ruler of the world and killed all his family with his new bestie.
Dahlia Hawthorne
she lived. faked her own kidnapping and killed multiple people in unrelated situations. was executed. got her spirit channelled. tried to kill even more people as revenge
Girlypop has done a shit ton of manipulation, committed at least four murders (even one from the grave!) A man’s eaten glass for her, another’s knowingly drank poison. She also puts on the “Weak little girl” act to get away with it all
she is literally THE gaslight gatekeep girlbosser ever. don't wanna spoil anything but like. she is the definition of the words,
"At 14, Dahlia arranged a staged kidnapping (in order to attain a Very High ransom from her wealthy father) with a guy she'd seduced, her stepsister Valerie, and her twin sister Iris (who chickened out) that purposefully landed the guy in jail for her supposed murder. Five years later, the guy broke out of jail and Dahlia framed him for the murder of Valerie (which she committed) and when this truth was exposed in court, the guy killed himself rather than break the promise they'd made to believe in each other no matter what. A few months later, she poisoned one of the attorneys involved in that case (putting him into a years-long coma instead of killing him) and got away with it by planting the evidence on a guy she just met by convincing him she'd fallen in love with him at first sight. She then guilted Iris into pretending to be her while dating the guy for the next several months, which culminated in her attempting to murder him, only to then try to frame him for the murder of one of her exes instead (which she also committed). She didn't get away with this one because superior girlboss (her cousin Mia) exposed her plot and Dahlia was executed for it a few years later, but she continued to GGG from beyond the grave. While she was still alive, Dahlia and her also-incarcerated but not on death row mother planned to murder the head of their clan (Maya, the younger sister of Mia) so that Dahlia's younger half sister (Pearl) could take Maya's place as head of their clan; Dahlia was also doing this because in the interim, Mia had been murdered by someone else, and Dahlia decided the best way to get revenge on her after her death was to kill the person she loved most. The mother and daughter schemed to write to Pearl (who was only about 9 at the time) and convinced her to channel Dahlia after her execution without telling her why (their family has the ability to channel the spirits of the dead, and they cannot remember what their bodies do during the time they're possessed) so that Dahlia could use her little sister's body to kill the head of the family, who Pearl loved very much. They also guilted Iris into working with them on this. The attempt failed because she girlbossed too close to the sun (a combination of her still-living ex, Maya, the channeled Mia, and the now-awake guy she'd poisoned) but she still GGG-ed all her life and even into her death (she also managed to get Mia & Maya's mom killed in the process and the coma guy (who Mia was in love with) convicted for it, but Maya lived so ultimately a failure). Throughout all this, she gives off an air of innocence and kindness and naivete, wearing white, high femme clothes, convincing the men inside and outside of the legal courts that she couldn't possibly do anything because she's just a sweet little girl. I fucking hate her <3 the vibes are both rancid and terrifying"

bc @oculusxcaro asked, here's a small primer on why face the face is trash
ok so the plot is that harvey dent is okay now and batman decides to leave gotham in his protection for a year because he's gotta go to space or something idk
then he comes back after that year and there's been some murders of certain villains so batman's like :
Tumblr media
and so he comes back after a year, sees dead people, and accuses his friend (whom he trusted to do HIS JOB) of multiple murders immediately without even asking what's going on first.
batman seems confused as to why he takes this very poorly despite the fact that he is the one accusing his bestie of murder.
Tumblr media
oh yeah, and the "you WANTED it" is going to come back later because :
Tumblr media
HE DIDN'T!! he didn't want it. he said 'look i appreciate your trust but i'm not sure that's a good idea'
Tumblr media
he even lists other people who he thinks would be a better choice, and batman tells him to shut up.
so no, he didn't want it & batman doesn't understand why he's pissed for some reason.
harvey then proceeds to have a meltdown after being accused of murder by someone who should have believed in him, and re-scars his face with a scalpel and nitric acid. cured they said.
it doesn't help that the entire time, harvey is portrayed as an irrational, crazy-because-crazy, vain little jerk who doesn't want batman to have his job back i guess.
also he threatens to shoot a tiger
Tumblr media
who looks so goddamn confused rn
but um @about-faces has a great breakdown of the whole thing and i respect their dedication to tearing it apart because there's so much going on and so many things---
my gripe is that batman wouldn't fucking do this, and if he DID, he'd be the first to vouch for harvey's innocence. which, surprise! he is! innocent of THOSE murders, but not the eight or nine murders he commits after becoming two-face. again.
the actual culprit is a villain we don't even see until the last pages.
tl;dr : the panel with the tiger really should sum it up

I honestly hate the Lucy UC storyline now. 1) she’s been in THREE Documentaries, one specifically about her going UC so it makes no sense (also not to mention Isabel outting her as a cop to that guy’s daughter, so maybe that’s were the storyline will go, he’ll try to get revenge on her for being a cop) and 2) she was upset about them not seeing each other much if she moved to a different station yet they wanted us to believe that she would have no problem going on a UC for 6 mths to a year and not seeing Tim (or Tamara)?!?! Like come on 🙄
For what's it worth, you're definitely not the only one feeling this way. I personally don't hate it, but I get it. This has been a bone of contention since s3, even more so lately. My biggest gripe at the moment is that, this storyline has been stagnant for so long, it's time to either commit, or give Lucy other opportunities. I wasn't sure if you were merely venting your frustrations or if you wanted me to answer : in case it's the latter, I'm gonna address your points but by no means am I trying to invalidate your feelings here. I'm just sharing my perspective on the matter.
Let's start with the documentaries. Honestly, at this point, I think we should simply take them for what they are : an opportunity for the writers to develop ridiculous plots and have fun, even though they don't make much sense… The last one was so over the top that I loved it - but I can understand that it's a bit hard to suspend your disbelief here… especially regarding the UC arc. I didn't mind Lucy being in them at first - or Nyla for that matter. Not to stereotype here, but I'm not sure the criminals she goes after watch these type of documentaries. And even if they were, they would still have to remember her specifically and there wasn't any particular reason to do so back then. I mean, so far, only one person in-universe has ever referenced these documentaries… and that lady was a director herself (5.06). That last one, on the other hand… Let's just say that outing Lucy as an undercover cop was definitely a choice… I almost feel bad for the criminals who went out of their way to be creative so they could get their hands on those UC lists, when really, all they needed to do was sit and watch true crime episodes. No respect for the craft! But more seriously : when the promo aired, I thought for sure that this issue was going to be addressed. I even wondered if I had missed a conversation or something after watching the episode. I guess, we're just supposed to pretend that it doesn't matter since not one single person raised the issue of Lucy being in the spotlight when she should be in the shadows. Then again, the LAPD doesn't see a problem with advertising a whole conference about covert operations… We clearly have a very different definition of secrecy. That said, maybe this will come back later and someone will recognise her. That's always a possibility - though it would seriously make the whole department look incompetent for not considering that ahead of time…
Another option would be to reopen the Teska plotline, as you suggested. The writers did leave the door wide open with all the loose threads, starting with how abruptly Lucy ended the op. Or how Isabel outed them as cop to the daughter, that's true. I have to say, I'm not completely convinced he would want to get revenge on Lucy. Sure, she lied to him about who she was. At the same time, she saved his kid's life, pushed him to make amends and get another chance with her and let him go free. She technically could have had him arrested : between the possession of a firearm and the conspiracy to commit murder, she had more than enough. I'm not saying the guy would become bestie with Lucy but out of all the people she's met while undercover, he's not the one with the biggest motive. Actually, I feel like Isabel would be a bigger target : after all, she's the one who infiltrated his gang and sent him to jail in the first place. Not to mention that his daughter knows how to contact her. But yes, he could always come back to wreak havoc. And as I mentioned earlier, he's not the only one. There's the female gang that might hold a grudge against Lucy. There are a couple of cartels that were crippled thanks to her. Any of her missions could come back to haunt her. But, and this is only my opinion, after spending three seasons filled with various vendettas from La Fiera, Elijah, Rosalind and whatnot, another plot like this would get old real fast. I don't think we need any more of these. Especially since Elijah is not fully over yet and we still have the ramifications from the finale to deal with. I'd rather Lucy just gives up on UC because she realises this is not for her. At least, it would be something different, you know what I mean?
And that leads me to your last point… Here's the thing : as upset as Lucy was at the idea of spending less time with Tim, she was still ready to move to another station, she still helped him get a new position that is notorious for their killer hours and she was still studying for the detective's exam. This didn't deter her at all. Obviously, this is different than being away for months on end, but she has been consistent in that regard. I understand the confusion and how illogical it sounds… But just because she was distressed about seeing Tim less, doesn't automatically mean she won't be able to handle being away. And just because she could handle it, doesn't mean she will want to do it. Speaking from personal experience here, it's a bit more nuanced - and complicated - than that I'm afraid. I only wish we would hear her perspective on all of this.
I also don't think that the narrative, or Lucy herself, was implying she would have no problem whatsoever with not seeing Tim (or Tamara) for a long period of time. I'm assuming you're referring to that last scene in 5.20, when she was worried about Tim not handling long term UC. As I see it, it was more about her trying to finally have an honest conversation with him about undercover, so they could hash everything out. This was introduced in 5.16, with Noah opening the can of worms, but they didn't get to the bottom of it since they had another conflict to take care of. Undercover is a bit of a sore point for Tim - for good reasons - and she knows it. She was there for the end of his marriage, she remembers his knee-jerk reaction when he found out she wanted to pursue undercover… He may fully be supportive now but she wants to gauge how he is truly faring with all of this. And after the events of the day (Isabel's return, their mini UC op…), it gave her the perfect opportunity to try to address this. She can guess he has been soldiering on for her and she doesn't want that. A place of honesty, remember. That's why she starts their conversation with : "Can I share something vulnerable with you?". She's putting herself in a vulnerable position by confessing how much she loves doing this job. She's trying to bring up the underlying issue in a way that wouldn't make him defensive. But a part of her has to also be afraid of his reaction. This isn't an easy situation. When she answers him "No. Um… I'm worried that you won't", it's because in that moment, her concerns are about him. Let's be honest, out of the two, he's the one more likely to have issues with this due to his past. She doesn't have the same baggage as him. And she's right to ask the question : how many of us have asked it? Apart from when she was his rookie or when he pushed her to go to the Academy, they've never talked about it. Only it's an important conversation to have if they want to spend their lives together. And they finally had it after her last mission. Another reason is that, in her case, she has something to counterbalance the hardship of not seeing Tim : doing something she loves. He, on the other hand, doesn't really have anything to outweigh this downside when she's away. However, he knew all of this from the start and still decided to start a relationship with her : simply being with her eclipses this drawback. This is what matters to him. But I can see why she would want to check with him if long-term undercover is something he can handle beforehand. It doesn't mean she doesn't have her own fair share of doubts. Now whether she can truly handle it… For the moment she thinks she can - and so far, she has. Maybe she's underestimating how hard it would be… and to be fair, it's not like she really has a frame of reference here. Listening to other people's experiences can only go so far…
If it helps though, I doubt Lucy will do too many long-terms undercover mission - if any - so all of this might end up being moot anyway. But I still believe the whole point of that conversation was to try to address the elephant in the room… They started opening up to each other, after several attempts, so maybe next season they will take a step further in that direction and explore Lucy's side of this, share some light on whether she has any doubts or worries. And hopefully, this storyline won't be in limbo for much longer. But again, this is just my perspective :)

It's All Coming Back To Me by Celine Dion
Bejeweled by Taylor Swift
Bonus: Kitty Kat by Megan Thee Stallion.
I LOVE EVERY TIME YOU SEND ME SONGS TO ADD TO THE PLAYLIST 💖💖
I don't know who you were thinking about when you sent the songs so I'll tell you what dynamics or characters I can relate them to (you can tell me later if you agree or not)
False God
Tumblr media
This song makes me think of Reader and Harwin. Especially these lines because I think of Rhaenys and Corlys disagreeing with the Reader marriage but she ignored them and got carried away by her faith in Harwin.
Don't Blame Me
I had already added this song to the playlist thinking about the relationship between Reader, Alicent and Larys. I can honestly see the three of them ready to commit murder for each other lol
Exs's and Oh's
BESTIE THIS SONG IS SO READER. EVERYONE IS OBSESSED WITH HER AND WON'T LEAVE HER ALONE
Maneater
Again Reader having everyone at his feet 🛐🛐
Boyfriend
I had also added this song thinking about Alicent when she finds out that Harwin is cheating on Reader with Rhaenyra. I also thought about Reader seeing how Viserys is a shitty husband and father.
Babooshka
Reader and Harwin.
Running Up That Hill
IT HURTS ME BECAUSE I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT LAENA AND READER AND LATER WHEN READER LEARNS ABOUT LAENOR'S DEATH. I'M NOT OKAY
I'm not a woman I'm a god
There are so many lines that I can identify with Reader.
"Maybe I could be a different human in a new place"
"I just wanna feel something, tell me where to go"
Reader after the deaths of Harwin and Laena
" 'Cause everybody knows something I don't wanna know"
Reader refusing to see what was happening between Harwin and Rhaenyra before Jacaerys was born.
"I am not a martyr, I'm problem
I am not a legend, I'm a fraud"
I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You
The truth is I didn't know it because I never saw the movie but this song screams Rhaenyra
You're On your Own Kid
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TAYLOR SONGS, I DON'T KNOW WHY IT DIDN'T OCCUR TO ME BEFORE. The truth is I can relate it to Reader, Alicent and the green children
It's All Coming Back To Me
Harwin's haters are going to hate me but it made me think of him and Reader. Of course she hates him for what he did to her and she doesn't plan to forgive him, but God, they have a lot of history and when he helps her with the children and sees how he takes care of them even though they aren't his, it's easy to get confused. I don't know if it makes sense but I also thought Daemon, Reader and him also have history so even though he has his idiotic moments she can't really hate him. I also feel like they never had a proper closure because again these people don't know how to communicate lol
Kitty Kat
I had never heard this song before so imagine my reaction 👁️👄👁️
Thank you for writing to me and collaborating with the playlist 🥰🥰
I hope you are well 💖💖💖
