The Most Chaotic Animal to Exist: Ferrets

So, you've seen that one post about how Danny becomes the Ancient of The Void, and it's a ferret? And the reblog of him becoming friends with Space, and it's another ferret?

What if... What if there were other powerful ideas or things or whatever that were also ferrets?

Like, you know how Clockwork is the Master of Time?

What if Time was a ferret? Or MULTIPLE ferrets??? Past, Present, and Future anyone??? Or maybe one for each dimension? Or one that has the ability to duplicate???? Or maybe each thing that represents time is given a ferret: one for a clock, another for a calendar, a sun dial, stopwatches, timers-

Dreams. Each dream is a ferret. Nocturn just loves his ferrets. Or maybe it's sleep in general that's a ferret and dreams are just food for it. AND THAT'S WHY NOBODY REMEMBERS ALL THEIR DREAMS. Scientists say that people have like- 4 dreams on average in 8 hours (might've butchered that, it's been a while since I heard that bit. but it's multiple dreams nonetheless... Fever dreams are starting to make a lot of sense now...)

You know what else would be an Ancient? Luck. Like- Lady Luck. It would be funny if she was just the guardian of a bunch of gold ducks, but it would also be pretty cute if the embodiment of Luck is a ferret.

What else could be an Ancient? Idk.

But I'm thinking that this would follow the headcanon about Ancients being a Concept given existence. The Living thought them up and believed enough, but the concept or base element of it all was always there.

Then when you think about DC with deities, it all makes sense. They need belief for power and they can interact with the living realm because their believes thought they could.

On the other hand, Ancients are old concepts that been there basically forever since time in different dimensions isn't linear. They gain power just from the belief that what they're based on exists, meaning, their power is based on their assigned ferret.

Updated Kaiju AU Names/Species/Category List

As mentioned in my concept art post, I wound up creating an updated list of the kaiju and their creature forms! Some wound up getting updates to their code names as well to be more fitting, so hopefully these names will flow better now!

At some point I plan on doing a description based post where I describe each one and what they look like, but that's for another day.

On revisiting the old list here, I had no idea how many I'd given spider-like features and in the end it didn't make sense to me. 😅 I'm happier with how some of them are now! As I get more of their designs figured out, species may change slightly by adding or taking away, but we'll see!

And yes, I've added other characters since their introductions (both English and Japanese, though holding off on one since he hasn't been introduced to English servers yet from the storybook event)! There are some I haven't figured out how to add them to the story just yet, so if you don't see their names there, I hadn't forgotten them!

I just haven't figured out how to add them or what they'd actually be yet 😓 But that doesn't mean they'll be completely out of the picture! Just temporarily sidelined.

if the south park boys were all animals, what's your headcanons for their species and why? can be furry or just normal animals

i've answered smth similar before, but i only did the main 5 + i have alt ideas and reasonings so!!

stan - a dog, of course. a bigger breed, something that he could reasonably say "i'm a wolf" about even though he is literally not a wolf at all. he's extremely loyal and has strong emotions, and as someone who has had a husky for a number of years, i think they have matching personalities and complexities. the ONLY downside to my affection with him being specifically a husky is that it means he doesn't get stupid floppy doggy ears. so perhaps a husky mix. he needs to look wolflike enough to claim being one, but still be like.. a silly puppy! (he could also genuinely be a wolf- like my tsot stan IS a wolf, undeniably- but i think its more fun if overall he is just a dog who is wolfkin) kyle - my first thought is always a sheep or a sheep/goat hybrid, but i've become fond of deer kyle as well! though.. dragon kyle has become very prominent in my things w/ adrian ( :3c ) and i think he's so fucking cool and awesome as a dragon. why is he a dragon?? because he keeps going "i am a human being." when his friends talk about fursonas and he won't make one but he thinks dragons are cool. fox kyle is fairly popular in the fandom but other than a personal attachment to both kyle and foxes making my heart go '!' every time i see it, i don't personally really like fox kyle on a character level? cute for visuals and i think there's a couple fun jokes to be made, but he's not really much of a fox guy to me. eric - cat or raccoon! obviously. there's not really much other choice, i'll be so honest. maybe a big cat or a non-domestic cat, but he's always like a little guy on your floor who stares at you and waits to be petted and bites you when you pet him because youre never doing it right. i think, like stan, he's most likely a cat who is raccoon kin. thinks they're so cool. if he had the warriors books when he was younger (and was actually assed to read them), he'd be so fucking sick about these cats. kenny - mustelid. i've always leaned into ferret kenny specifically! why? good fucking question. i don't know. but kenny is very rodent coded without feeling like a rat/hamster/guineapig/bunny, y'know? has ratlike qualities but doesn't really Fit. would NOT be a mouse. ferret or a weaselly guy feels right. also because it makes me happy butters - a doggy, too! something medium sized, more likely. lab or a retriever type. a Good Boy who is so naive. knows how to listen and wag his tail and be good, gets confused a lot, whatever. arroouou ruuruuruuu arr arruuu [sound of butters sob-barking from good times with weapons]

craig - hyena! or a very calm wolf! why? because i think he's cool. mainly the hyena thing is for adrian and i just fully agree because it feels right. the concept of him being a wolf is PURELY to make stan mad. tweek - a birddddd my little tweeter.. ♥♥♥ i just think he's very bird coded. i think a canary sounds good for him, warning of danger (even if it isn't really there). might be hybrid with something else, but he's MOSTLY bird. maybe a gryphon? would be a cheetah in that case i think. cheetah/canary. actually yeah that fucking rules he's a gryphon holy shit. clyde - lion. he's strong and proud (but also kinda a coward!!!! yay!) and i think the idea of clyde being a lion and thinking he's got SO MANY GIRLS THATRE HIS is so funny bc of the way the girls kinda toss him around. tolkien - not a lion. maybe a cat, honestly? he's so.... Normal. he's just such a normal guy. i could easily see him slotting into role as a cat. like your typical american shorthair. very average and normal critter that you gotta get to know to learn exactly the ways his personality works and differs from things. jimmy AND timmy - both parrots or parrot-adjacent birds! this is adrian's suggestion, because parrots are very smart and community focused and care about each other. i think the idea of these two being birds who bond over time is so cute. also because i got the thought in my mind of jimmy helping timmy find sweaters to cover up plucked feathers :( used to be VERY stressed out and then he found a friend and now he's doing a lil better.

wendy - rabbit wendy is my favorite, but i think she could work as a cat. but rabbit makes me happiest. maybe a hare, actually? type thing that looks like she's a little prey beast but will kick your ass into next week if you don't watch out. sigh.. i'm so in love with her.. lets her be small and sensitive while still being able to, at any point, stand up for herself. bebe - liger. pretty and everything, but doesn't quite fit her role like she could. specifically like.. a low-expression one, stripes that only show off in certain light. very low contrast markings. enough to not fit in Perfectly amongst other lions, but not enough to visibly be a tiger. this is to mirror her struggle with brains and beauty and trying to have both without becoming reliant on her beauty- but not disowning or dismissing having 'pretty privilege'. sighhh i love bebe a lot i love her so fucking much. heidi - bunny.. she's just a little rabbit. small and scared. trying to do her part and be good! trying. hybridized with a goat, freaks the FUCK OUT when her horns grow in because she's not supposed to have those. legally i suppose she is a jackalope except she is a bungoat. nichole - bearrr i just think she'd be so cute as a bear.. i don't even have a good reason for this. i associate her with bears and sunflowers. sun bear..... aoawouahghgg.. red - iguana??????????????????????????? i dont know why. that's what my mind said to me.

★M'kay- so combining the latest analysis that you made about Donnie being a size-shifter and the turtles heights in your 'Biblically Accurate Size' AU- I managed to cook up this (no, this does not only concern Donnie by the way) :

|⭐| What if the turtles were size shifters- who could only shrink, but wait- there is a catch. What if the absolute minimum of how small they can get depends on their species height. Like, once they reach said height- they won't be able to shrink any more.

|⭐| For instance, if Raph wants to get smaller- the absolute minimum could be 30 inches- since that is his accurate height, based on your AU at least. Mikey 100% does it the most. To annoy older brothers, practice his "razzmatazz", and perfect cuddle buddy. Very "marketable plushie" coded. I just have a mental image of Mikey taking the place of whatever "sports ball" they plan on throwing around. He's already the biggest adrenaline junkie on the team and in the show, they already make it a habit of throwing brothers around like ragdolls so this is an entirely real possibility lmao

Donnie does it for science purposes like 99% of the time. Especially before he got his mystic goggles/powers. Machine is down but don't wanna tear it apart to get at the ONE section failing? Just shrink down and work on it there. The next 0.50% is when he's too overwhelmed and just needs to get small to hide from the lights, sounds, everything, just 'get me the hell out of here'. The last 0.50% is purely for personal comfort. Small bath turns into massive pools for the aquatic turtle to enjoy, warm human friend is suddenly a super warm and comfortable giant heated weighted blanket.

Leo is by far the most unpredictable. He'll do it to annoy Raph and Donnie and also LOVES how it can make him the center of attention. Leo is like the master of "I'm secretly craving affection but I'll cover it up with a cool guy persona who 'totally doesn't need hugs'!" April and his brothers will just carry Leo around like that one ferret gif:

Post krang, however? That boy does NOT like shrinking down. It makes the room seem massive, never ending, cold like the prison dimension. And his brothers, normally a comfort, morph into large terrifying shapes, reminiscent of the Krang. But "EveRYThiNGs FiNE! DoNT yOU WorRY aBoUt 'ol NEoN LeON!"

Raph shrinks down the least. He's too big to enjoy the perks being small gets. Still too heavy to be casually carried around. Still too big to have a nice heated bath feel like a nice pond. Too spiky to have the same huggable qualities as the other two. Not to mention the only time he really feels comfortable is when they're all shrunk down at the same time because he's worried that he would not be able to help his family at the smaller size. But at the same time he'll have those moments where he wants to be small, to be taken care of, to be the younger brother. He'll never admit it but the others can always tell when something's off. They've figured out enough that while he can't really be carried or held like the others, Raph still makes a perfect lap dog/turtle and is perfectly happy to just flop down on someone's lap and enjoy the free scritches during chill hours.

Splinter thought he was hallucinating for the first couple years when the boys would just randomly change sizes until he actually caught the turtle tots shifting in real time. Then he just was like "yeah this might as well have been another thing Draxum did to their DNA"

Also I started writing a response before I reread the ask and noticed it said "could only shrink" so under the read more was my thought process before of how that would effect the growing part of idea 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

And to add on, what if it kinda works in the opposite way when they grow. Like the Scale for BA Mikey is about 1:10, so what if when he grew it was flipped so he's 10x the size instead of 10% (47 feet)

Same with the others. BA Raph is about 1:2.5 so 2.5:1 when he grows (15 feet). BA Donnie is a 1:7 scale so then 7:1 (37 ft). And BA Leo is 1:5.25 so 5.25:1 or 28ft.

Suddenly biggest brother is now smallest brother and the smallest brother, Mr. "more than happy to chuck himself off a building to do a cool trick" is now the SIZE of a building.

Etrian Run Classes Explained Pt. 1

A random assortment of why certain cookies are a particular class and possible design elements.

This round: Kumiho, Black Sapphire, Silverbell, Cream Ferret, and Burning Spice

Kumiho’s class wasn’t chosen based on her skill like most others are. It was purely based on what she looks like. When Etrian Odyssey 1-3 came out on the switch, each class got a new portrait. It just so happens that the new Ronin portrait reminds me a lot of Kumiho with the white hair, red eyes, and similar color scheme for the outfit. In terms of her EO design, I’m probably not going to change her appearance too much. She’s probably going to look a lot like the one sketch of her I posted a while ago, just with a few minor changes. Either way, choosing her to be a Ronin was purely influenced by her design.

Black Sapphire was assigned Arcanist/Vampire for a variety of reasons. Primarily because of his appearance and skill. The guy is just so Arcanist coded for me. The vessels (the species associated with Arcanists) always have one eye covered, Black Sapphire has one covered. They always have circle staves, which Black Sapphire’s microphone is kind of reminiscent of. Even though vessels predominantly have white hair and pale skin, their alt portraits literally have them colorful as can be, with various hair and skin colors. One alt portrait straight up has purple skin that’s basically the same color as Black Sapphire’s! Not to mention in Nexus, you can give your Arcanist any hair and eye color you want! Not to mention he has the poison element and can poison enemies and all my Arcanists have the Poison Circle skill. He’s just… Arcanist coded. As for the Vampire ‘subclass,’ it’s the wings and outfit. Black Sapphire’s attire looks quite similar to one of the Vampire portraits, and of course, the wings. For his Arcanist design, he’s definitely going to take on a more traditional vessel look. I already have a concept sketch posted. It’s going to have elements similar to his original design, but altered to fit that of a vessel’s. Not to mention he will straight up be a vessel now. For his Arcanist/Vampire design, he’s going to continue having his vessel traits, but will have his normal outfit with minimal Arcanist designs. Due to the nature of the Vampire ‘class,’ his eyes are going to have red in some form or another. It only makes sense due to the in-game item that grants the Vampire ‘class’ overrides the character’s eye color and makes it scarlet.

Silverbell being a Sniper instead of a Survivalist is purely on preference and aesthetics. I absolutely hate the idea of a Survivalist Silverbell. The idea of what that could look like is just too jarring and wrong in my opinion. Even though the Survivalist aligns more with his more supportive role and skill, I prefer the aesthetic of the Sniper for him. Plus, he’ll be able to be in the same base game as Black Sapphire. In regards to his potential EO design, I’m currently pulled between wanting to give him a vessel/Arcanist look or a human/Sniper look or a mix of both. His outfit can easily become a vessel’s with minimal changes. Plus, the vessel guards are snipers or archers, so it would fit well. At the same time, I like the idea of Silverbell having a more Sniper appearance. The potential design is kind of cute. I will definitely have to draw both in order to determine which will be his official EO design. 

The reason I made Cream Ferret a Beast class is a lil obvious. They can turn into a ferret. A lot of the other Beast class cookies have a more animal-like or creature form, but they’re also paired with the skills. Cream Ferret not only does damage, but they heal and provide an HP Shield. The Beast class is known for not only attacking, but healing and protecting their teammates as well. Not to mention a Beast will just randomly shield an ally out of nowhere because of loyalty. I’ve already posted some of the potential designs for Cream Ferret, both beast and non-beast form. I’m planning on keeping their design relatively similar to what they actually look like. The only main difference is their ferret form being massive instead of a cuddly lil critter. 

Ok, hear me out with this one. I need Burning Spice to be both a Bushi and Shogun. Purely because they are both absolutely devastating damage dealers and I’m sad they’re not in the same game. The Bushi class canonically have an altered form that looks like they’re on fire, even though they don’t have an in-game portrait to portray that. Seriously, look at the boss fight with Kibagami in EO4. That man’s a Bushi and will absolutely destroy you while looking like he caught himself on fire. Genuinely, they’re just massive damage dealers that won’t stop. Not to mention they have fire-based attacks and will sacrifice their HP just like Burning Spice does with his skill. Not to mention they can just… Survive being defeated and restore their HP, just like how Burning Spice will casually revive as well. As for Shogun? Very similar story to the Bushi! They can revive, will absolutely obliterate anything in their path, and sacrifice their HP too. The only difference being that they’re referred to as eastern generals and they can autokill a random ally or enemy that happens to fall below a certain HP threshold. To be fair, I’m not sure how to design this guy. If I go the Bushi route, he'll have to be a sentinel (the species associated with the class) and I have to give him an animalistic appearance, not to mention I have to draw him buff. With the Shogun, their portraits don’t accurately portray their armor class properly. Not to mention, there is no way Burning Spice would ever wear such attire (in my opinion). In the end, I still have to draw a buff shirtless guy, even if I go with the Bushi route and not make him a sentinel.

Can I join your anti-Hermione club? Is there an application form? (In all seriousness, I'm so glad there's someone on Tumblr who is anti-Hermione for good reasons. It drives me absolutely insane how much the fandom worships her. I respect her intelligence, but there are so many absurdly unethical things she does. The hexing of Marietta Edgecombe - I researched it, it's both against contract law and would almost certainly be considered assault - was crazy, and even crazier was that it's excused.)

Something that really annoys me is how people are trying to tell me I'm doing Hermione-bashing when I give her the what-for. Or try to say "but she was a teenager :(". Really, freaking really? So when Hermione scars people on the face she's being a teenager but when Ron is pissy for a night in fourth year he's a total asshole? No, nope, not gonna let that lie.

My issue is that Ron's mistakes are teenager-sized; making an ass of yourself during a soirée, dating someone you're not really interested in because you're flattered by the attention, getting mad at your friend over silly stuff, saying stupid things without thinking... teenage mistakes. Those are teenage mistakes. (Something could be said of his leaving on the Horcrux Hunt but. Bitches. Voldemort himself (a part of him at least) was there singling him out for torture. Not to mention the heavy blood loss, the fact that his family's in danger, etcetera... But of course nobody is willing to accept those circumstances, nooo, it's only Ron who's the sole responsible for leaving absolutely, right, "Hermione is a teenager :(" and "Harry has PTSD :(((" but Ron isn't allowed to have problems of course. Fucking hypocrites.)

Meanwhile Hermione wakes up everyday and chooses violence and not for good reasons. I mean when your first reflex to distract someone is to set them on fire surely that indicates some issues? (Later on she forgets that she can use magic to light a fire... against a plant. I mean. How. How do you come to the conclusion that you should light a person on fire to "distract" them but cannot apply that reasoning to a goddamn killer plant.) The thing is people just... because we're constantly told that Hermione is intelligent/has good grades/works hard, people are quick to assume that she's obviously the most mature one in the room. But being a hard worker isn't necessarily a "proof" of maturity. It's just that people's expectations are that "a studious kid" is a mature kid, but really what they mean by "mature" is "doesn't annoy me to hell and back by playing noisily".

There’s this huge manipulation that plays on people’s expectations: being coded as “the studious girl” people are told through stereotypes that Hermione is smart, mature and logical… and the text is quick to try to reinforce the idea by having her spout definitions (=”smart”, for a degree of it; it’s mostly good memory), scold others for being rowdy (=mature, except that she’s not above it all either and a big part of maturity also involves REALIZING YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES which, Hermione’s don’t, so oops) and have her solve some puzzles or explain things (=logical… but sometimes her reasoning is based on emotion and she just tries to find evidence to justify why she thinks it’s right, rather than go from one thing to another).

When people try to brush off the fucked-up things Hermione did with "well she was a teenager" or "it was the war effort"... no. Fuck no. She didn't have to wipe her parents' minds and memories, there was the Order, the Dursleys were treated better than Hermione's parents for God's sake. But the only thing that matters about Hermione's parents is that they can be conveniently sacrificed to let us know how brave their daughter is right, it's not like she's in anything called the House of the Brave or something, it's not like she's constantly being thrown in mortal danger and is scared but keeps pushing forward, no we absolutely HAD to have a plot point that involves Hermione destroying two people's identities so we know how brave she is (how was any of it brave? Bravery is risking yourself, not the life of two innocents who barely know what's going on and are in no position to fight back).

And with the Romione fandom trying to push back to "nooo but she was a teenager m'kay she had her reasons for everything"... You want to get back to the Dark Ages where Hermione can do anything to Ron and it's his fault for not being perfect enough for her? Because that's how you go back to the Dark Ages.

In concept I love Romione. In the books I love it till about Book 3 (and even then that's pushing it because Hermione's utter disregard for Ron's pet sits very unwell with me, BUT okay fine she's still a child, it's her first pet, she has no idea how to own a pet and she's not used to being mindful of others' feelings. Then she gets validated by the plot because Scabbers was Pettigrew and somehow that means Hermione wasn't horribly callous to Ron's feelings or anything... meanwhile had it been Ron buying Crookshanks and Scabbers being Hermione's pet everyone would have been like "but who cares that Ron was right in the end, do you see how horribly he hurt poor Hermione's feelings!!!"...

It's just. No more excuses. Hermione is fucked-up. As a person, not just because of the war. She had a vicious, vindictive streak that only got enabled through the books because she never was called out on it. And I mean, I'm all for standing up for yourself, or for slapping Draco Malfoy's bitchy ass ferret face. But fuck. When you're doing the magic equivalent of an acid attack on someone's face, when you're physically abusing someone you're supposed to love AND THREATEN TO DO IT AGAIN AS IF IT WAS SOMETHING CUTE OR QUIRKY, when you're brainwashing your own parents into compliance because you can't be bothered to lie to them or make the Order get them... You know how many fics I've seen that take the "I did actually Confund my examiner" exchange from the Epilogue and run away with it to make it so Ron gets in a horrible car accident or invent entire collapses of the Statute of Secrecy as a result of an investigation connected to this "ha ha look it's funny Ron cheated on his exam" moment? Why don't I ever see a fic talking about how Hermione erasing her parents from existence leads to the destruction of Wizarding society through the legal bullshit that follows? Because Hermione dear, did you think to alter "Wendell" and "Monica"'s birth certificates? Their marriage contract? Their VISAs? Their bank accounts? Otherwise you've just turned your parents into homeless vagrants hopelessly lost in Australia who can't ever find a home anywhere because they simply don't exist in the eyes of any government. But hey nobody ever thinks of that because it's so much easier to nitpick everything Ron does. The only thing folks notice about Hermione nowaday is Emma Watson's boobies.

Ferretdust (she's actually a canon/su susann cat with the name fenneldust but renamed her because i kept saying ferret instead of fennel) Idk what clan she was in but she started a revolution with the goal to drop the warrior code because she believed it put cats against each other and it weighed cats down from reaching their "true potential"

She isn't against fighting though she just thinks it's wrong for cats to be pitted against each other based on the clan they reside in. To her cats are natural born fighters but fighting only because you uphold the warrior code is a silly concept to her. She left her clan and formed alliances with rouges, however some clan cats who agreed with her left their clans and joined her.

Not sure if this happened on the first battle (against a clan) or if there were a couple before but one day the wind picked up a lot and she was separated from her group, a branch struck her, knocking her unconscious. She was awoken by the smell and heat of a fire that started mostly likely due to lightning striking a tree. The branch was too heavy to move so she was trapped and eventually met her demised. She's only of the later cats to join Tigerstar

Irisstrike (iris-strike) & Hollygust two thunderclan siblings, Iriskit and Hollykit were known for their mischief, they loved to play pranks on other cats, one of those cats was their denmates Turtlekit. Turtlekit didn't like the pair at all and hated being the victim to their "pranks". When they were apprentices, she'd complain about them to the warriors and even the clan leader but all of them just said she's being too uptight and Iris & Holly were just having fun. Irispaw & Hollypaw knew Turtlepaw didn't like them but that just encouraged them even more and upped the severity of the pranks. One instance happened when Irispaw tackled Turtlepaw off a small rock, Turtlepaw grabbed onto Irispaw because she thought when she fell she would just splat onto the ground. Thankfully that didn't happen but both Iris & Holly accused her of overreacting. Turtle felt embarrassed about it so she didn't tell anyone what happened. (Iris most likely did though).

Now warriors, Irisstrike (iris-strike) and Hollygust stopped playing their "pranks" on other cats and it was believed they'd drop the act all together. Until Irisstrike gained the great idea to do one more big on one Turtleleaf (idk what her suffix is- only that it's tree themed). Hollygust agreed and the two waited until Turtle was alone out of camp.

The two attacked her, after making sure their scent was hidden. Irisstrike then climbed a tree, jumped on Turtleleaf's back and probably killed her on impact (she could have hit her head or something) Irisstrike and Hollygust hadn't intended on killing her and Hollygust suddenly realized what they did was a crime and they could get exiled. Neither sibling wanted that so they came up with the idea to attack each other and blame it on Turtleleaf since every cat knew she didn't like the two. What wasn't planned was Hollygust biting Irisstrike in the eye and they broke out into an actual fight, killing each other in the process. Hollygust is a solid black molly (she/her) and Irisstrike is all white except for one black forepaw (they/them)

Here's the thing I wad talking about in my last post, this is some of the art I've made for my ocs and some concepts.

As well as a copy n paste off of my deviant art account of the concepts of how the characters would function in a game if they were in it:

wooooooo this took me to long to sketch up, this is just a general concept for my fnaf fan creation that is the name in the title. I've decided that I'll be attempting to design something like a fnaf fan game (and by that I mean lose concepts of what I'd imagine I'd create if I had the skills to model and code my own fan game) plus I'm introducing three more characters outside of the original seven.

anyways I'm just gonna describe some basic mechanics and ideas I had for everything.

The Animatronics:

Mako The Seal: Mako is a clever bot, he uses vents and blind spots to his advantage. He can easily be spotted on cams near your office. Close the door he's at to avoid a jumpscare. In free roam mode. Mako, Mio, and Icy can be found back on the main stage, they will not attack the player in free roam.

Mio The Penguin: She's a vent dweller, meaning she will almost strictly use vents to find her way to you. She is very clumsy however, so listen carefully for loud foot steps and close the respective vent door. or if she is behind you, before she's in your face that is, flash her with the camera to disorient her sending her back to her 2nd to last location. In Free roam she could be found on the Main Stage with Mako and Icy, they will not harm the player during free roam.

Icy The Polar Bear: A polar bear with a love of guitar, Icy will walk around the restaurant strumming his guitar every so lightly. unlike Mio and Mako, Icy will stand by the door do not flash him, close the door or let him stay there. He will drain your flash light and cameras battery a little every hour he's there. He can not jumpscare you UNLESS you flash him with either your flash light or Camera. In free roam he can be found on the Main Stage, where Mako and Mio also are. They will not harm the player in free roam.

Sally The Elephant: A loud and proud elephant, Sally will use only the halls to reach you, close the respective door to keep her out. If she enters your office, don't fear she won't attack... not right away atleast. You can use an Audio Decoy to lure her back out (as she's attracted to sounds of children) or use your cameras flash to disorient her getting her to leave the office. though if she gets mad (I.e to many flashes) she will stampede to your door, if the door is closed she will bang three times, draining your battery for your flashlight and camera. If the door is open, you'll get jump scared. In free roam she's on the 2nd stage with Lunar and Oscar. They will not attack the player in free roam.

Lunar The Ferret: Another Vent Dweller, unlike Mio, he is a stealthy animatronic. Check the cameras by your office and by the vent entrances to see if he's slipped into your office. Close the vent door to prevent him from entering or shock him when in your office. In Free roam, Lunar can be found on Stage 2 with Oscar and Sally. They will not attack the player.

Oscar The kangaroo: An adventurous kangaroo, He only use the hallways. Close the doors or flash the lights when he's at the door to make him go away. Once he's in your room, he will disorient you and then leave the room. He can be found on Stage 2 with Lunar and Sally. They will not attack the player.

Sunny The Cat: A waitress animatronic who usually stays in the Main Dinning hall. She will occasionally move around the diner where you'll have to locate her on the cameras. Once you find her three times, she'll reset back to her default location. She will not attack the player in free roam.

Sparks And Buster The Dogs: This twin dog duo will purposefully sabotage your power, doors, and shock controls. Sparks sabotages your Flashlight Camera flash and Shock controls. While Buster jams the doors and vent doors. Find them on the camerasand use the Audio decoy to lure the pair back to their stage in the arcade to avoid problems. Sparks and Buster will attack the player during free roam. The pair will only jumpscare you if your power/battery is completely drained.

Look for their glowing eyes and avoid them if you wanna continue to roam.

The Decayed one: A mysterious and dangerously withered animatronic, it's origins are unknown and it is highly aggressive. It has it's own way of getting into your office. Mako Employees assume that this bundle of loosely connected wires was a animatronic previously used here before the other models came in. A mysterious man could be seen entering the room on occasion. They will hunt the player in free roam.

For this, I’m going to share the oc I’ve just spent the last two hours drawing, her name is Ione.

This is a basic concept for her. She’s a freshman of Heartslabyul based off of the snobbish violet from Alice in Wonderland.

Ione is very prim and proper and is a real stickler for following the rules. She's not as pretentious or ill-mannered as her Disney counterpart but she does live by a very strict code of conduct, taking the rules of the Queen of Hearts as her guide to life. She’s memorized 500 out of the queen’s 810 rules, less than Riddle but more than Trey. Needless to say, Riddle holds Ione in high regard and unlike most other freshmen, he has yet to find the need to discipline her.

Pre-chapter 1, Ione is fiercely loyal to Riddle and may or may not have gotten into a heated argument with Sebek over which of their Dorm Leaders is superior. Otherwise, she is something of a loner, very shy (get it? shy violet. >w<), and does not have as many friends as some of the other students. Crisanta, another oc of mine in Heartslabyul, is on a mission to make Ione laugh before winter break.

This is all I have thought up for Ione so far because some of what I have planned for her involves chapter 5 which I’m still refusing to read until at least April.

Also, she loves hedgehogs, and ferrets. One thing she doesn’t like about NRC is the fact that she had to leave her pet ferret back at home.

Absently rubbing her fingers through Smudge’s inky fur, the little artist was hardly aware that she spoken her musing out loud, at least until her companion had brought attention to it, bringing an embarrassed flush of pastel rainbow to her cheekbones.

With a sheepish giggle, she watched him stretch out in the grass, taking a moment to gently lift her ferret familiar from his perch on her shoulder, before she let herself flop back beside him, wincing when her healing bruises voiced their complaints from her abrupt movement, Smudge wriggling free to crawl back up onto her shoulder.

She was careful not to jostle him again as she shifted closer to the other, until her head came to rest in a press against his chest, getting comfortable in her cuddle, the constant snowflake of her eyelight shifting green in contentment.

It had taken her some time to get used to being so physically close to him, but when he’d ashamedly admitted how much another’s touch eased the perpetual pain he was forced to endure due to his severely mutated gene, she had gradually become acclimated to casual cuddles and hand-holding when they spent time together, and once she was past the initial awkwardness, it had come to feel as natural as her routine as an out-code.

Or.. maybe as natural as the friendship that had blossomed between them.

3. When/How did you find out you were kin?

✧ My story’s probably a lot different than others bc I never used kinstagram or tumblr much. One of my longest friends is a quiet therian and told me 3-4ish years ago bc he trusted me that much to know! So I looked into it + kin to find out I’m a Golden Tiger, and now here I am today full stop!

I was on instagram in 2013-2016 and between that time is when I discovered what kin was! It wasn’t the best place to start but glad I know as much as I do and was able to figure myself out!!

16. What are some common traits between your kins?

✧ ND-coded (mostly autistic but even bpd or adhd), anxious, easily tempered, NB-coded or at least GNC, goth vibes/aes, WLW-coded or canonical, rivals-to-lovers or antags, protags, foodies, purple/green/blue, bad at emotion, younger siblings, (so on...)

motherly figurers or older sibling figures, WLW/Bi coded characters, any pink or pastel character, preppy or cutesy aesthetics, blonde hair, tall characters, and the leading lady/love interest!!

38. What were some divergences you had from canon/the source material?

✧ Amity: I was nonbinary (they, fae, she), autistic with GAD, I needed reading glasses sometimes but not very often, I collected snails, I probably had a fursona, my brother Edric was trans+gay, Emira was bi! I got into the Owl House Universe’s equivalent of pkmn, I grew my hair out and looked like my beta by 16-17, I wore the suit to Grom instead of Luz [the scrapped concept], I wore a lot of comfy casual clothes + goth things and had a clip-on lip ring bc of sensory stuff! 💚

Not too much was divergent from my side of things (as far as I know rn!!) but things that stand out of the most was that I had ADHD, and was kin with Good Witch Azura (in more of a for fun/coping way!)!! I also wore a more dress-like outfit to grom instead of the suit top!

46. What aesthetics remind you of your kin or canon most?

✧ For Sasha, a lot of jpn cute aes like plushies, sweets/foods, toys and packaging, but also reds/pinks, ferrets, swords, and glitter. For Marcy, a lot of DND stuff and dice, lizards, gaming, starry skies, blues/purples, and violins, fire, and candy!

I associate the colors purple and blue with Anne, as well as any kind of water (mostly creeks and streams), black and white cats, rain, homecooked food, forests and meadows, and autumn leaves!!

Pokemon - An Altered Conception of Monster

If you didn't already understand, Pokemon stands for 'Pocket Beast' due to the reality that big monsters can be included in little pills known as 'Pokeballs' that can suit one's pocket (in case you 'actually' didn't know, Pokemon is a computer game with popular spinoff merchandise such as Pokemon luxurious toys, Pokemon figures, and a variety of trading game cards, such as promotion cards, holofoil cards, shiny entei, and others).  pokemon tcg codes Generally speaking, the majority of the Pokemon are cute to look at, which usually belies some ferocious power they have. Pikachu, for example, is by far considered the Pokemon mascot. Pikachu looks adorable and cute (sort of a cross in between a seal and a ferret) but can surprise an opponent with a tremendous electrical charge. 

Pokemon is complicated on the surface area, and is complicated behind the scenes also. As a game, it has actually steadily evolved, has had its up's and down's, and is undisputedly very popular, though I stop working to see how it stands in creativity when pitted against other video games of its quality. I don't understand what Mr. Tajiri's preliminary ideas were about the size and capsules of his video game monsters, however very rapidly the game progressed into a situation in which a catcher (trainer) might utilize a Pokeball to shrink a huge 'monster' to fit into a little container. Anyone who has actually been to Japan can instantly appreciate the Japanese knack of fitting big things into small areas in a practical sense, and 'miniaturizing' nature in the artistic sense.

 One puzzle though is the cuteness of the Pokemon. Other storylines such as Ultraman have actually selected to show beasts as grotesque and shellfish like. THE VIGILANTE’S WAR

HTTYD. YEAR: 2014. LENGTH: 57,110 WORDS. A mysterious, antagonistic dragon rider dubbed “the Vigilante” crosses paths with Hiccup, and her increasingly violent actions appear to be leading to war against Berk. 

He tightened his hands, loosened them again. Breathed in, breathed out. He could feel himself stooped in the dirt, his shoulders hunched over his head, his knees buried in the ground and tucked underneath his torso. His neck was bent low close to the earth, providing him a good view of his hands and the ground and nothing else.

Well, and the blood.

- PROLOGUE: FROM OUT OF THE HAZE

HTTYD 2′s original drafts had Valka as the main antagonist. I found this so interesting that I decided to rewrite HTTYD 2 - with a few of my own spins - on this concept. One of my most well-known fics, “The Vigilante’s War” is where I’ve gotten the most thorough reviews and most emotional reactions.

THE VIGILANTE’S LEGACY 

HTTYD. YEARS: 2014-2016. LENGTH: 20,546 WORDS. There’s been four years of war between three factions. Drago’s army. The Vigilante and her dragons. Berk and their allies. But now, Chief Hiccup believes there’s a way to end the conflict. Sequel to “The Vigilante’s War.”

Hiccup spoke up. Cleared his voice. Tapped his pointer finger apprehensively on the cell’s iron door. “You said we were making a mistake.” Might as well speak straight to the point of his visit. “Something about ‘you and every one of your warriors are making a mistake’ or – or something like that.”

For a moment Hiccup wondered if Valka actually would reply. The calculating gaze she gave him from the corner of her prison certainly did not seem a positive sign. However, then, with a steady, lilting cadence to her voice, she succinctly affirmed, “I did.” Just those two words. Nothing more.

- VIII. THE MISTAKES OF WAR

It’s unfinished; I haven’t updated because I ran out of steam and didn’t receive enough reader feedback encouraging me to continue. Though I did have a very vivid final chapter in mind… that I still love… which I never got to…?

HTTYD. YEARS: 2015-2016. LENGTH: 44,289 WORDS. My ongoing collection of drabbles for HTTYD. Angst, pain, comfort, humor, crossovers, crack, it’s all there. Favorites include “Family Portrait,” “Stubble,” “Buffcup the Brawny,” and “Remember When.”

He held her hand softly, one wrinkled hand laid gently on top of another. It was just her and him now in the house all alone – for their children had left on a voyage with the grandkids, and would not be back for a week yet, if even two. It evoked the quietness of the old days, back before they were old, back during the times when they were newlyweds and younger even than their grandchildren were today. Oh, but the smell of her hair was just as refreshing now as when it was blonde.

- REMEMBER WHEN

DINNER AT DRAGON’S EDGE 

HTTYD. YEAR: 2015. LENGTH: 5,452 WORDS. The gang’s settling in at Dragon’s Edge. To make sure everything operates smoothly, Hiccup suggests a chore rotation system. That means everyone has to do their fair share of the cooking… but it doesn’t mean everyone is a fair cook.

“Oh my gods, is this dinner or what the rats threw away?” Snotlout exclaimed, terrified at the Unidentified Edible Object before him.

Tuffnut picked it up with one experimental hand and held it out before him at a safe distance. People would have held poisonous snakes or bloodied torture devices more cheerily. Squinting his eyes and peering carefully at the peculiar specimen pinched between his fingers, rubbing under his chin with his other, free hand, Tuffnut remarked, “Looks something like what Barf and Belch poop out after they get sick and…”

- 1. ASSIGNING JOBS

This humorous fic I think is where I do best capturing HTTYD character personalities and interactions.

[SUPER]HERO THE HARD WAY 

HTTYD. YEARS: 2014-2017. LENGTH: 86,566 WORDS. In a modern world where Berk is full of superheroes battling the League of Outcasts, power-less Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third struggles to receive appreciation for who he is. Through his crime-fighting journey, Hiccup learns that, while he might not have powers, he can become a Hero the Hard Way.

“I wasn’t born with anything. Don’t have anything. I’m the son of Chief Stoick “Skullcrusher” and I don’t have anything. Not even a superpower to turn objects purple. Which frankly would be completely pointless but at least it would have been something.“

He realized he was babbling and promptly shut his mouth. He looked over at Fishlegs, who appeared to be wordlessly processing the information. The teenager appeared baffled moreso than anything else, which at least meant he was not outright rejecting him.

“So you’re going to train to be a superhero… and you don’t have any powers? I got that right?”

“You got that right.”

“Wow.” Fishlegs said.

Hiccup waited for more.

“That’s actually really cool.”

- CHAPTER THREE: SIDEKICKED

This started as me intending to write one crack chapter. It turned into me envisioning a ROB / DOB modern AU where all characters were superheroes. The final product became a retelling of HTTYD 1′s basic concept: Hiccup gaining his peers’ approval despite being different. Somehow, despite me 70% adlibbing by the seat of my pants (should I be admitting this?), I had great fun. And it brought in the most reviews, follows, and favorites of any of my posted stories! Thanks for the reads and support, everyone!!!

RESET OR RESUME 

UT. YEAR: 2016-2017. LENGTH: 85,841 WORDS. Gaster’s research unlocks the secret of time travel. After the Royal Scientist’s untimely end, one of Gaster’s colleagues - Sans - finds himself with the power to Reset. Confronted with unpleasant timelines and dangerous choices, Sans must decide how to navigate through time… if it’s worth resetting for a better future, continuing with hope for the present, or simply giving up.

No longer timid and silent, the human happily babbled all sorts of nonsense to Sans, everything from how to bake snow pies to how weird Sans’ skull looked to how beautiful the ribbon in their hair was to their opinions of Papyrus’ ‘battle body’ to how their mom didn’t like the color black to their personal opinion of ferrets to a long narrative of their encounter with a snail-loving old lady they met on the other side of the Ruins door. Everything could be the topic of a conversation. There was no filter and even less sense of restraint for this child.

“How are you a SKELETON?” their happy little high-pitched voice squeaked. They flew gallantly over a twig that rested, flat, on the surface of the snow. Powder flew everywhere as they landed heavily into the snowbank. “That means – that means you should be DEAD, you know!”

“who says i’m not dead?” Sans trolled with a wink.

With a shrieking giggle, they exclaimed, “Don’t be silly! Only ghosts are dead!”

“i could be a skeleton ghost.”

“No you – no you can’t.” The human seemed to be quite confident about their knowledge in paranormal metaphysics. “You can be a skeleton. You can be a ghost. But nobody – NOBODY – can be a skeleton ghost.”

“is that so?”

“YES so! You CAN’T be both. That would be wrong.” Maybe the human mentally categorized skeletons and ghosts as separate Halloween creatures, ensuring they were mutually exclusive concepts. It was always challenging to comprehend a child’s train of logic. “Except…” and now the child paused, leaning down and tugging at the sleeve of their sweater. Something thoughtful – at least as much as one so young could be thoughtful – passed over their eyes. They cocked their head to the side and stared at Sans. In the same sort of innocence with which they had talked about ferrets, the human inquired, “…can ghosts also be dust?”

I have particular fondness for this fic. I spent more energy and care with this than any other I’ve posted. Drenched it through with UT lore. Edited and revised thoroughly. Had two beta readers examine my ASL for accurate representation. I wrote extensive outlines that were several page long color-coded charts, had all this meticulous structuring going on…

The problem was, this was an impossibly ambitious project. Life got in the way, too. The 85,841 words here aren’t close to the end of Part 1. The final two Parts were going to explain the weirdness within Part 1 (the story doesn’t begin in chronological order - it gets pieced together like a puzzle). What I planned to write would have included a complex characterization arc for Sans, every human child that’s visited the underground, and multiple resets containing main character deaths… until the story would end with Sans confronting Frisk in the Genocide Route.

Hopefully, despite the incompleteness, this is enjoyable from its comedy to its angst! I would at least encourage people to read the first few chapters! Or “Socks” - an entire chapter devoted to Sans and Gaster pulling sock pranks on each other.

SOMEHOW THEY’RE STILL OFFICERS

FMAB. YEAR: 2018-2019. LENGTH: 6,036 WORDS. Ahhhhhh yes. Team Mustang. The hand-selected, elite group of military officers who effectively spend their time… doing nonsense. 

Everyone was scrambling at once. Mustang rushed forward to greet their guest, perfect composure only broken by the fast pace at which he moved. In fact the colonel’s posture was almost a proud enough display to make his lack of shirt go unnoticed. But Falman chucked his cards away at the same time he tried to salute; Breda was ducking from Falman’s sudden card shower; Fuery was launching pants and underwear in Havoc’s face; and Lieutenant Hawkeye, obviously abashed to be in this room at all, was covering her eyes with her hand in what was either her life’s longest sigh, or a pathetic attempt to hide her face and identity.
