... and that's resulted in over 300 different Marble Fidgets. I'm having a lot of fun selling them locally, at physical shops downtown, and to friends via word of mouth, but I'd love to expand!! While I haven't found a great website to sell these fidgets, I wanted to share them here and see if anyone was interested. 😊 I've been selling them for $2 each, which doesn't include shipping.
They're all about 2 1/2 inches long, and great for discretely fidgeting. Often, they're involved in my happy stims. With the gentle thumping of the marble as I shake it back and forth, the feeling of the cotton yarn rubbing on my thumb, the back and forth of the marble as I push it with my thumb or with both my thumbs, or spinning the fidget so I can watch the pattern change with the different rows... I really like these haha. My favorite is the multicolored ones, because I like how the colors change and shift into one another. But the solid red was my first, and by far had my favorite texture. (A little softer than the striped multicolor fidgets.)
They're very easy to clean, as they're made of cotton yarn. You can either spot clean, taking a wet rag or paper towel to it, cleaning off any dirt or stains. Or, throw it in a delicate's bag to go in the washer and dryer with your usual load of laundry. The texture will be changed after the washer, but that will be fixed after playing with it for about fifteen minutes to half an hour.
Here's a few collages of my Marble Fidgets!!

I invented a noodle dragon. Its very wiggly. Kinda like a feather boa. Idk how to write patterns but I'll try to explain it. Maybe someone can decipher it. it's kinda all one piece.. Started with the head. Then the body is a chain (75) then went back and put 4 sc in 25 chains. 4 hdc in 25 chains. And 4 dc in 25 chains. Then went back and put flower petals all over it. Big petals near the head then smaller petals near the end. Little petals r (in one chain) slip, hdc, ch2, slip, hdc, slip. (Slips between every petal.) Big petals r slip, hdc, dc, ch2, slip, dc, hdc, slip.
Then the legs and heart tailpiece was made separate and sewn to the body. The arms and legs r 12 sc. The fingers r ch 3; slip, sc, slip, for each one. The feet are ch4, slip, sc, hdc, slip. For each toe. Then slips up the arm. The legs r the same but I put 5sc near the butt to give it little ham hocks. Then for the tail hearts I used a leaf vine tutorial on youtube.
The head was magic ring, 6sc. Then 2 more rows of 6sc. Then inc to 9. Then inc to 12. Then 12sc. Then inc to 15. Then inc to 18. Ch1 turn. Flower petals in back loop only. Then sc18 in them front loops. Then petals in back loops only. Then dec to 9 in them front loops. Then dec all the rest. Then ch 75. Or however long u want it. It will shrink up a little so go a little bigger than u think. Maybe 25%
Took about 1-2 hours total.
3.5mm hook. Redheart yarn, that I lost the paper to.
I'm just gonna keep making these dudes cuz im addicted to the wiggle lol
I'm setting a goal for myself to sell at least one item in my Artisans Cooperative shop this month.
I have a secondary goal of making at least €100 Euros this month, but that depends WHAT gets sold.

If your thinking about learning to crochet, DO ITTTT!!!! It's fun, it's relaxing, it helps you focus bc it's a fidget once you get to the point you don't have to see the stitches to know what your doing. Additionally it's great for neurodivergent people because its a way to make stimming look productive
awww man i love how this is turning out! Its from scratch no pattern (if anybody is interested i can link what i have written as i worked its pretty scrappily written)
Y’ALLLLL your buddy Rach went to a flea market and bought a fricken ton of beanie babies, a couple crochet items, and a little 3D printed wiggle shark!
Please send asks for better/specific pictures if you want to! :D also I can make PNGs of any of these too!
