“What’cha doing over there?” 

The young boy stares at her for a full minute before returning the binoculars onto his face. “Watching Batman. Do you like Batman too?” 

Marinette follows his sight, where Batman is beating up a group of thugs. “Ehh, he’s okay.” 

“Do you want to be Robin too?” Tim asks with wide eyes. 

She throws her head back and laughs out loud. “Me? A Robin? I’ll pass on that.” 

“But being Robin is cool.” Tim’s voice turns small. “He needs more Robins.” 

“He already had two.” 

Tim hums in contemplation, fishing out his camera and snapping multiple photos. She watches him carefully, marveling at the little innocence and curiosity he had. He doesn’t know he’ll be a corporate executive and vigilante in the future, Marinette muses. 

“You like investigating, huh?” Marinette ruffles his hair. Unlike Dick, Tim doesn’t recoil or react much. 

“Better than being stuck at home.” He pouts. “I can’t believe his identity was so obvious.”

Marinette giggles again. “You and me both.”

As for Damian, Marinette isn’t looking for a heartfelt reunion. No. If I visit a young Dami, he will try to kill me and that’s not really a fun conversation. Instead, she focuses on another goal: getting blackmail material. 

She jumps into the room in the League base, wrinkling her nose and finds a baby Damian sitting inside a crib. She snorts out a laugh, seeing that he already has his trademark grumpy look. With one tap on her flute, she captures image after image. 

“You’re so cute when you were a baby.” She gently reaches down to poke his cheek. “I’m getting these for Alfred ‘cause you don’t have baby photos.” 

Damian gurgles and clutches her finger around a tight fist. 

“Aww,” Marinette whispers. 

“Who’s there?” The door flings open, accompanying the feminine voice yelling in Arabic. Marinette doesn’t have a chance to slip away when she comes face to face with a woman. 

Talia’s expression immediately softens and she switches to English. “You did not tell me you’ll be dropping by.” 

Marinette mentally wipes off her cold sweat. “Sorry, mama.” 

“What are you doing with your brother?” 

The fox-rabbit heroine glides over to Talia to give her a tight hug. “Collecting pictures. Y’know, just to mess with him.” She smiles. “You never took baby pictures.” 

“No, I haven’t,” Talia sighs. “However, I do remember having a portrait of him painted. Do you want to see it?” 

Baby Damian suddenly coos, earning their attention. Talia scoops him up and hands him over to Marinette. Her fingers tremble slightly as she hefts her brother in her arms. Damian doesn’t shy away; he snuggles deep into her embrace. 

“Smile, Dami!” Marinette uses her flute to take a selfie of them both.

Can I ask for justice league watching the baby supersons duo?

Also there is some another super kid on their age in there too? If it had what kind of confusion they would get into?

I think there are only a few Justice League members that would be trusted to watch them

Diana, J'onn, and Barry

Overall I think it would go well because they'd actually be able to keep track of the rowdy duo and they'd have plans to prevent any escape artistry and keep the kids well entertained

As for other kids their age, I haven't given it too much thought so far? I may add some more baby supers into the au later though, could be funny 🤔

I had an idea for a silly goofy au where Damian, Jon, and reader are like the scooby gang and go around solving mysteries.

Reader is like a magic user, and they're job is to keep the evil entities away from everyday people, (Like Supernatural! But kid friendly🩷)

Damian has been stalking them as Robin and that's how the supersons get involved in the mystery gang.

It's just wholesome crime solving amongst the baby heros, and they have fun adventures (that sometimes end in sleepovers).

It think it would be funny too if paranormal assistance was needed and Dickie walks in on the three of them performing a seance in the theater room-

"What the hell is happening right now?"

"Magic."

"..."

"Why."

"Because, Richard. It is important for our investigation."

"Okay." *Turns to leave*

"No, no, no. You have to stay until I close the ritual so the spirit doesn't attatch to you. :D"

"WHAT-"

But he can't complain, because at least little wing is making friends...?

Bonus if Bruce has no idea where Damian is going almost every night. Like he just dissapears for a few hours then just returns wuth Jon and no explaination.

you're all the "middle man" between you all at one point or another. sometimes dami leads with his head and instincts; you and jon reel him in. sometimes jon leads with his heart and just finally fudging snaps because even the sweethearts go apeshit sometimes - you and dami do damage control and console the poor boy in the emotional aftermath. sometimes, you either lose yourself to the supernatural aspect of it all: it's either a overflowing, overwhelming rush of magic that zaps you dry and you're withered to a delicate, fragile thing in your own destructive aftermath or you go full on Avatar (tla) State and become something just shy of not human and need to be tethered back to the ground by your boys.

whatever the case may be, you all work around and through it all. you adapt to each other's needs. you're all there for each other, no matter what.

The bit with Dick and the seance. In the Manor, no less. I applaud you - it's too canon not to be.

Stakeouts that turn into sleepovers at the Manor. Very rarely down at the farm in Metropolis, but sometimes!! Big open cornfields, it's a hotpot for Prime Supernatural Activity. You make insufferable jokes (even tho they're like, true) and Damian scolds you for scaring Jon. Tt.

But you save his favorite cow Betsy from getting attacked by some random ghost demon and Jon nearly crushes your ribs in a hug.

As for Damiiiii, bro- I came up w/ something--

You pop up at some Wayne gala inexplicably at first.

Damian spots you for the first time (y'know, before y'all all become friends hueheuhueuhue *chokes, coughs*), completely out in the open, and spews his drink.

He'd immediately stomp over to you, aghast, because what in all the names of the Lazarus Pit are you doing here?! He'd been stalking you for weeks from afar! He was a master of stealth!! How did you even manage--

I- what? No, he does not like your outfit! It's rather spiffy, you say? HE DOESN'T CARE! THAT'S THE LAST THING HE'S THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?? How did you even GET IN??

He's steaming and flustered while also trying to not make a scene because the place is crawling with socialites and high society aristocrats whereas you're cool, calm, charming, blending in too well as you down your own drink. [It's icy apple juice.] and just, bamboozles him further.

'Excellent year,' you suddenly say rather seriously, peering down into your glass of icy apple juice with an impressed expression, effectively cutting off Damian, who was in the middle of a hushed, barely watered down tirade.

Y'all stare at each other for all of two nanoseconds and the events happen as follows:

you turn a bottle of iced apple cider to Damian (where did you even manage to nab one?), pointedly at the label to further explain your comment,

he slaps it out of your hand in a rush of overwhelming emotion and thereby catches the attention of everyone within y'all's general vicinity,

BOOM - you're both circled out and being stared down from all sides.

Damian wants to crawl in a hole and die, maybe.

You raise your hand and twiddle your fingers in a sweet wave and- you- that's when he sees it-

Sparkles. Real, genuine, sparkles. Come right out from your fingertips.

Damian is at a loss while you suddenly garner an audience!! An applauding audience!!! What the hell is going on-?

You disappear in a puff of smoke! Oh my!!

And in a grandiose puff of sparkles and thematic smoke (it's like regular smoke but cooler), you reappear with a flourish on the stage on the other side of the room! Thereby catching everyone's attention.

"Good eveninggggg, my fellow Gothamites! Wowza, I see some sexy faces here tonight! *twirls magician's hat and releases an entire army of butterflies* Enchanted to see you all! I'm (Name) and I'm your prime rib for the night! (cue pulling a whole ass pig, cute and with a bowtie, out from the inside of your coat) Or so to speak!"

Gasps and claps arise from the audience!

Damian is terse, a little terrified, and a little impressed. And he watches the entire time as you pull off a literal magic show! An interactive one, too!

Afterwards, you stand in front of an enchanted crowd and bow with a proper flourish; when you peek out over the rim of your hat, you make direct eye contact with Damian, a mischievous smile playing at your lips.

A proper introduction for you, your Highness? - echoes in his mind. Magic.

That's when he knows. He knows, he's in for a wild ride.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'VE STARTED AND NOW I CANT GET ENOUGHHHHHH OMGGGGGGGG

(Also! Dick would totally be gushing over y'all all the time. His baby wing made friends! And such Good Ones too!! Awwwww! <33)

(And Damian just snaps at him to be quiet, orrrr frowns from where he's trapped in between you and Jon in a group hug. He secretly, not-so-secretly loves it.)

I'm probably gonna work on one of my dc x dp aus, but I'm not sure which one I should work on first. I'm leaning towards working on the Alien based one, but I figured I'd see if any of my followers that are waiting on those have one they wanna see first.

So which do y'all want me to try and work on first? Danny and Dami Sibling but Danny is the one to run from dealing with that, Danny is baby ghost and the other ghosts are bot letting anything hurt the baby, or Danny is by all technicalities an Alien.

Rescue & Rehab Damian! AU

Probably part of the same universe as Flower Crown Steph tbh

It starts when there's a big, bad storm that downs some of the ancient trees on the manor grounds.

Damian had been walking Titus (and, on occassion, Alfred the Cat when Damian can get his harness on before the cat gets annoyed with his existence) just a few days before, and happened to know that there was a squirrel's nest in one of those ancient trees.

Not only is the tree one of those that has been downed, the entrance to the nest has been completely blocked, and once Damian has cleared it, it's clearly taken huge damage.

The little squirrel pups haven't opened their eyes yet, so he knows they're less than four weeks old (why yes, yes he had gone home and immediately researched squirrel babehs the same day he'd seen the nest)

There is no sign that the mother has even attempted to get into the nest. Damian doesn't know where she is, but the little ones are crying out, clearly cold, wet, and hungry. He pulls out out a handkerchief and gently lifts the two pups into it and wraps them up before sticking them down his shirt and cradling them next to his chest, where it's warmest.

He's already pulled out his phone and is calling the local wildlife rehab center before they're back inside. They don't tell him anything he doesn't already know, but he explains the situation and although they're already full (it was a big storm) they offer to help set him up with formula and proper sized droppers for feeding.

While Dick was out grabbing those for him (he tells people he bullied his bro/dad into doing it but the truth is Dick saw him in the kitchen and started squealing and offered his help) he sets up a box with a heating pad, a "nest" of warm flannel scraps, and a small stuffie for them to snuggle up to.

He dries them off and tucks them in, and then finds them a normally closed-off (due to disuse, Alfie isn't tryna have to dust empty ghost rooms) room on the ground floor. It's got nice big windows, and won't have the smells of the other animals in the house.

It takes time, but he does successfully raise, rehab, and release the squirrels. And that's that. Except.

Late summer another storm hits. The wildlife center calls him (he'd kept them updated on his squirrels) and asks if he minds taking on some wild mice.

They end up renovating the room into his "rehab room." His pets aren't allowed in, nor are his brothers or dad (except Dick). Alfred is allowed in, because Damian knows better than to tell him no. He can't figure out how to keep Cass out, and Steph is allowed because she's genuinely good at feeding babies and doesn't mind helping him make them relieve themselves. The goal is to limit the people smells and interactions, so they can stay as wild as possible and won't get used to human interactions.

The manor grounds are great for rehab & release, because they're so big and have lots of trees for birds and squirrels. If it isn't good for them to be on the manor grounds, he's allowed to use the Kent's farm, and other assorted wild areas that the capes community has access to.

The Amazons send him baby birds on occassion (they mostly rehab their own, but they have a hard time with birds because they're fragile and they're all equipped with Big Strong Lady Hands) and Diana holds him up off the ground so he isn't technically on their lands when he releases them.

Idk for some reason I feel like everyone in the DC comics fandom who likes Batman has at least a bit of a Rev!Robins au written down somewhere. If you do, would you care to share?

I uh yes, I have written multiple reverse robin shots so you got me there. My favorite version I shopped with @timdrakeothy in which bruce is also included in the swap so it's B as the youngest (but still 'in charge') and Dami as the oldest.

1. Bruce's parents die when he's 8, he's bitter and lonely and craving retribution. Damian is a top assassin for the LOS and is hired to kill Bruce Wayne. But he gets there and finds he can't. Bruce, being who he is, is impressed by Dami's skills and offers to hire him as a bodyguard and to train Bruce to save Gotham. Damian... can't refuse that face. So it's middle age Alfred, young adult Dami and young child Bruce.

2. Cass, also an assassin as the daughter of David Cain also comes to kill Bruce but is impressed by the boy's resolve. Together, her and Damian take to the streets as vigilantes to protect Gotham for Bruce who is so fired up. Tim is so impressed by their heroing, he shows up and asks to help out. He's the first Robin and is killed in the line of duty which devastates the family.

3. Teen Jay is caught breaking into the manor to steal things and is forcibly adopted by Bruce. You now have Alfred, the exhausted parent. Dami the bodyguard and second parent. Cass as the 'Maid' (her cover, she never cleans anything) and Jason as a tutor/ Robin. Steph worms her way in through Jason (street kid buds) and becomes the second batgirl.

4. Oops Ra's al Ghul brought back Tim and he's pissed. The Red Hood is a villainous hacker going after Damian but his love of Bruce and vice versa helps bring him back towards the light even if he's still a bit morally dubious. Circus comes into town and, yikes, that poor acrobat kid lost his parents? Whoever will adopt him? Bruce is finally glad to have an adopted child younger than him (he's like 12 by this point, Dick is 8). Barbara is his playmate in school and Dick sneaks her out on patrol as Robin III and Batgirl III

5. Bruce is baby the whole time but he's also the heart and soul of the team. All of the batfam would die for him, they all have paternal/older sibling feeling for him. Dami and Alfred already agreed to shared custody. Bruce is trained by the others and helps out every night with surveillance and info gathering. Does a crap ton of charity work in the meantime and is waiting for the day he can assume the mantle from Damian. Everyone is hoping they can talk B out of it because the thought of him being in the field....

Thank you so much! Talia absolutely does visit frequently and if ever something comes up where she can't visit as often (which is rare) she is very communicative about it

Talia makes it a point to spend time with all the kids not just Damian and Jason because any family of her boys is now her family too

So she would go on day trips or watch movies with the family as a whole while also making sure to spend one on one time with them doing things according to their interests

She also tells the family plenty of stories about Jason and Damian from the time the two lived with her that the others find hilarious
