Apollo practically raised Hermes and Dionysus because he didn’t want Zeus to be their main father figure and he had such a strong parental instinct.

Just a reminder that the relationship between Apollo and Dionysus is not of dislike. They don't hate each other… They're NOT rivals, was Nietzsche the one who wrote them being opposites, NOT the ancient greeks. The apollonian and dionysiac is a very interesting analysis, i know, but they are more that just "order vs chaos". Apollo is not just order and light and Dionysus is not just chaos and darkness, no, them both are complex and presents a duality! Apollo could be chaotic too, and Dionysus could be order as well.

Sorry, but I totally disagree with the "Dionysus and Apollo are rivals, opposites, they hate each other" thing. That did not happen in ancient Greek mythology nor Greek religion (I say ancient because some modern authors of Greek myths could be biased or inspired by Nietzsche and will surely put Apollo and Dionysus as rivals).

Who is a more reliable source for the relationship of two greek deities? I think the ancient greeks who believed in them and worshiped them…

Speaking in the religious aspect, they shared cult... Dionysus was also worshiped in Amyklai and honored during the Hyakinthia, an Apollo's festival. Also in Delphi they shared cult. Apollo had a temple in Naxos. These two gods are more connected that we think.

-the main designer and builder for the argo II, also the first hephaestus kid to have fire powers since hundreds of years ago (did i mention killed gaea? no? yeah he did that too)

-a girl who somehow charmspeak-ed gaea into falling back asleep (also side note daughter of super famous actor because why not)

-pretty much everybody is a two-time war veteran

-THE GOD APOLLO who just sometimes comes down to visit in the form of a teenage boy

-did i mention dionysus, god of wine madness and theatre

-also chiron, trainer of pretty much every greek hero ever

Your body is a shrine to Gods, your being an act of devotion for them. You, by yourself, are enough for them.

when dionysus ascended Apollo was always there for him to help him adjust and purposefully tried to fill in the role of father for him so that Zeus would hold less power of Dionysus

Absolutely be political in your worship.

Aphrodite isn't called Pandemos (of All People) so you can sit around and let the big names capitalise love and serve it only to those who can afford to pay past the persecution. Hermes isn't called Oeopolus (Shepherd) so you can sit around and let a bunch of power-hungry wolves lead a flock of influencable sheep. Apollo isn't called Paean (Healer) so you can sit around while wealthy corporations serve healthcare only to those who can afford not to die. Athena isn't called Ambulia (Counsellor) so you can sit around while the people are being fed propaganda against each other to divert them from the real enemy at the top. Dionysus isn't called Eleuthereus (the Liberator) so you can sit around while freedom is only granted to those whose skins have the acceptable colour while the others die in chains. Zeus isn't called Xenios (of the Foreigners) so you can sit around while the borders are closed to those who need it and only open to those who can give back the money.

The Gods stand with the oppressed, and so should you.
