☆ standing next to you - jungkook (he loves the bass and the groovy ass beat; loves to dance in front of Baaabe while they do chores around the house while making stupid faces at them. definitely screams the lyrics at the top if his lungs)
☆ i was made for lovin’ you - kiss (loves the bass and guitar. bobs his head along while he listens. wants to learn the song on guitar—always references the lyrics to Baaabe, much to their chagrin.)
☆ chop suey! - system of a down (he likes the chaotic vibe of the instrumental and vocals. he thinks the lyrics are silly. his fave parts are the harmonies!)
☆ lonely day - system of a down (he’s a sucker for a good melody, harmony, and instrumental. likes to listen to it when he’s trying to relax. he references the lyrics dramatically to his partner, but he truly enjoys the deeper meaning of them.)
☆ something in the way - nirvana (he has this on his playlist ironically ever since the newest batman came out. he randomly walks into their bedroom and plays it on his phone, standing in a brooding manner until Baaabe scolds him LMFAO.)
☆ o green world - gorillaz (“it scratches my brain in the right places” …he cannot sit still when this song is on, but then again, he isn’t able to with any music)
☆ dare - gorillaz (refer to the description above. he bounces on his legs and shakes his hips to the beat, regardless of whether Baaabe is watching or not. he is a SUCKER for a cool vibe)
☆ animals - nickelback (he particularly enjoys the suggestive lyrics and often bursts into song regularly with this one. makes him jump up and down uncontrollably in true stimming fashion.)
☆ crying lightning - arctic monkeys (bass line. groovy beat. cool lyric cadence. loves playing it while driving. definitely shakes his head aggressively to the guitar.)
☆ smooth operator - sade (HE LOVES THE BASS AND SAXOPHONE. it’s his favorite song to dance with Baaabe to. he hums the melody in their ear and enjoys holding them from behind while they sway :3. loves when he hears them singing along.)
☆ the summoning - sleep token (he doesn’t like the beginning as much as he likes the end, but he LOVES the chorus. he hates how long the transition is between the two styles of song LOL)

ʻThe newborn dokkaebi kept crying. She was born in this world and as long as there were stories in this world, she had to love it. Yes, I made you like this. Thus, blame me.” Chapter 211.
I wonder and love this passage because it perfectly describes the main characterʼs, Kim Dokjaʼs relationshi[ with his daughter.
Thereʼs a parallel here, both Kim Dokja and his child, Biyoo, will continue to love stories as long as they exist. They were both made like that, Biyoo by Kim Dokja and Kim Dokja by his mother. Kim Dokja takes on the blame and hate of this world, and it continues here, also Kim Dokjaʼs future is foreshadowed here. Kim Dokja created everything, that is why he is being blamed. I love how this encaptures Kim Dokjaʼs relationship with people in general, against morals, against what is best for others, he uses people and makes them suffer. In doing so, he also loves them, he loves the people he abandons which is so tragic. This passage is also simply a turning point in the story.
Another thing is that Kim Dokja sounds almost like a god here, which yes is foreshadowing but also he kind of is even now. He is a reader looking into a world not of his design, but he is the reason it is alive. He blames himself or the torture the characters go through, like his daughter will, and is also forced to love it. This also shows a dad blaming himself for making a life in this world, especially one as hopeless as his. He never had a good dad, and his dad made him unforgivable, thatʼs why he is automatically shi ing blame onto himself for making Biyoo unforgivable, because they both are, the minute they were born.
The way it captures both a god and his creation and a dad and his daughter is wonderful. At the same time Kim Dokja is separated from the story, being a useless god who looks down at creations. He is also connected, feeling like a father who isnʼt sure of himself and his abilities to properly take care of a child.
sometimes you just gotta get dressed, put on your makeup and fix your hair in front of a mirror with loud music playing in the background and pretend you're in the opening scene of a movie
