After making my post about my thoughts on how the sleeping arrangement inside the Lucky 38 would work with all the companions.

I couldn't stop thinking about the DLC characters so here’s my headcanons!!

Honest Hearts:

The Dead Horses and The Sorrows are always courteous offering my Courier Six a bed to rest in:

When traveling with Follows-Chalk if it's too late to return to the Dead Horses Camp, they'll find somewhere safe to sleep. The plan is to have one guard while the other rests. However, they stay up wayyy too late talking. Follows-Chalk teaches her how to read stars while she tells him stories from her travels.

Waking Cloud wears and uses her Yao Guai Gauntlet as a pillow (it also allows her to quickly spring into action). She misses her children and as they're falling asleep, tells Courier Six stories about them.

Joshua Graham is usually the last to go to bed, so he'll sleep on whatever bed isn't taken (or the floor). I imagine he always sleeps on his back. Since it distributes the pain evenly instead of putting a large amount of pressure onto one spot.

If my Courier Six is also awake she'll say a prayer with him before bed.

If Joshua is up late working on inventory and my Courier Six is inside Angel Cave, she'll be lulled to sleep by the fire and noises he makes.

Dead Money:

You know how Dean Domino has secret stashes hidden everywhere? He also has hidden sleeping spots. Multiple pillows and blankets which he does NOT like sharing but will begrudgingly with my Courier Six.

Dean Domino has lived in the Sierra Madre the longest, which has caused him to become a light sleeper. He will always bitch about back pain, regardless if he's sleeping on an old mattress or couch.

Once, when traveling with my Courier Six, she got VERY sick and dizzy from the red cloud, forcing her to rest. Dean thought about ditching her (but couldn't with the whole "wedding rings around their necks" plus he wants to use her for protection). So he dragged her to one of his spots. When Courier Six woke up she thanked him and offered to keep watch, so he could rest as well, which he reluctantly accepted.

Courier Six is the only one he'll sleep around.

Christine has an extremely hard time falling asleep because she’s afraid she'll wake up in the auto doc.

My Courier Six offers to sit next to Christine, hold her hand and keep watch while she tries to sleep. My Courier Six's perception isn't high enough to understand Christine, but she can sympathize with how difficult it is to fall asleep in the Sierra Madre.

Dog and God sleep sitting perched up against a wall. Dog snores while God doesn’t. He's far too large to sleep comfortably on most of the furniture scattered around. Courier Six worries about him but can't convince him to sleep differently.

Old World Blues:

My Courier Six sleeps in the bed inside The Dome. However as she slowly begins repairing everyone inside The Sink (Muggy, Toaster, Jukebox, ETC.) it becomes harder to sleep in there. She also feels WAYYY too guilty about the idea of turning them off.

So near the end of the DLC after getting closer to everyone she starts occasionally sleeping inside The Think Tank. Specifically using the weapon trunk and table next to Dr. 8 as a makeshift desk.

My Courier Six has 100% woken up to some of them hovering over and observing her sleep 👁️👄👁️ (especially Dr. Dala).

After she peacefully resolved things with Dr. Mobius, before returning, she slept on his floor. Making sure not to sleep on or touch any of his notes. Despite this, she woke up with math equations written on her face.

She has no idea how he did that.

Lonesome Road:

My Courier Six is FIGHTING for her life in The Divide and sleeps whenever she can (which isn’t often). Ulysses is watching her from a distance and will also (sometimes) sleep when she does. Due to his past as a member of the Legion and a Courier. Ulysses is able to sleep easily in odd places.

ED-E watches over my Courier Six while she sleeps. Alerting her to any danger. However, until she falls asleep, ED-E lets her hold him like this:

It makes her think of home (The Lucky 38). Since that's how she usually sleeps with her ED-E in the Presidential Suite.

Should've Switched Majors (Clone Shenanigans)

Summary: A very unfortunate grad student at the University of Coruscant is just trying to finish her thesis for her Investigative Journalism degree. Unbeknownst to her, she's picked the galaxy's worst interview subjects.

We’re here in Briefing Room B of the GAR headquarters on Coruscant level 5127, where I’ve been graciously allowed time to speak with some of the Republic’s most decorated soldiers. To start, I’m sitting down with CC-2224 of the 212th Battalion. Though if I’ve been informed correctly, I believe you go by Cody?

CC-2224: Commander is fine, thank you.

L: Oh. Uh, right. My apologies, Commander.

CC-2224: Don’t mention it.

L: So… Your records indicate you’ve been in active service since the beginning of the war.

CC-2224: That’s right. I was decanted from Kamino with the first batch of Clone Commanders.

L: I’m looking at a transcript of your prior operations. There are some major battles here – Christophsis, Ryloth, Saleucami… You’re a true veteran.

CC-2224: As much a veteran as any of us can be, I suppose.

L: And as a Marshal Commander with such a prolific record, you must be highly regarded among your peers and superiors?

CC-2224: My brothers trust me as their Commander.

L: And your GAR command? Generals and Admirals? The Jedi?

CC-2224: …What about them?

L: Do they afford you the same level of trust?

CC-2224: That’s… [pause] Yes, I am trusted. My decisions and conduct are respected as any Commander’s wound be.

[Audio file is silent for 6 seconds]

CC-2224: There are those for whom it takes more for us clones to prove our competence. I don’t allow that to impact my performance. My record speaks for itself.

L: Must get frustrating, though. The pressure to demonstrate your worth. Probably leaves you without much time to let your guard down.

CC-2224: It’s our job. We do it with pride.

L: Surely you can’t keep that up all the time, though? It’s only human to want to have a little fun.

CC-2224: [clearing throat] I maintain a respectable bearing at all times, as do my men. We were trained from birth to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and I take pride in the reputation of the 212th Battalion as highly proficient, honourable, and—”

CT-2534 (“Waxer”): Hey, Cody…? Remember that thing you said not to do? Uhm, Boil’s in medbay and Fox says you gotta go bail Wooley out before—oh. Uh, hello.

CC-2224: [heavy sigh]

CT-2534 (“Waxer”): Is… this being recorded?

[Recording stop] [Recording start]

L: Thank you for moving our appointment up, Troopers. The Commander had to leave on some… unexpected business.

ARC-5555: Ha! Guess Waxer wasn’t bluffing after all.

ARC-1409: You owe me five credits.

L: May I refer to you as ARC Troopers, or do you prefer—

ARC-5555: Fives, please.

ARC-1409: Echo.

L: Great. So, the two of you serve under General Skywalker?

ARC-5555: Didn’t start off that way, but now we do, yeah.

ARC-1409: Captain Rex picked us personally to join the 501st as ARC troopers. We joined for him. But serving under General Skywalker is an honour, too.

L: Do you feel he respects your input as clones?

ARC-5555: You kidding? He’d be dead ten times over without us, and he knows it!

ARC-1409: Some of General Skywalker’s strategies are… hit or miss. But we owe him our lives as much as he owes us his.

ARC-5555: Nah. It’s 23-19 in our favour. I’ve counted.

ARC-1409: 23? You’re counting the Naboo thing?

ARC-5555: Far as I’m concerned, that’s the closest the General’s come to karking it.

L: Can you elaborate? What happened on Naboo?

[ARC-5555 begins to speak but is silenced by ARC-1409. Sound on audio file is ARC-1409 hitting ARC-5555 on the back of the head]

ARC-1409: Sorry. Sworn to secrecy. ARC Trooper’s honour.

L: Seems like you’re pretty close with your General. Can you tell me—

ARC-5555: So you’re a student, right? Coruscant University? What’s it like?

L: What’s… Uhm, it’s an excellent school. Good facilities, knowledgeable professors, the courses are highly-regarded. Now, if we could get back to—

ARC-1409: So –sorry, I don’t mean to interrupt, I just– you can study anything you want? You just get to pick?

L: …Yes, that’s how it works.

ARC-1409: What if you don’t like what you pick?

L: You can change your course. Back on topic, we were discussing—

ARC-5555: You can change your course? You’re allowed to do that? Whenever you want?

L: Yup.

ARC-1409: Did you ever do that?

L: I’m starting to wish I had.

ARC-5555: Wish we could’ve done that. I’d have been a Naval Officer. Way better uniform.

ARC-1409: [chuckling] The navs would hate you! They’d have you decomm’ed on the first day for unruly behaviour.

ARC-5555: The navs wish they had the honour of my unruly behaviour.

L: Can we get back on topic. Please?

ARC-1409: What was the topic, again?

L: [heavy sigh]

ARC-5555: Hey… the 501st is on shore leave for the next two days. What are you doing tonight?

L: …Uh.

ARC-1409: We could…. continue the interview over a couple drinks at 79’s?

L: I… hm.

[Recording stop] [Recording start]

L: As a member of the Coruscant Guard, you’ve seen more than most other clones of the galaxy’s capital and its senate. Commander Fox, has this given you any opinions you feel are different to other clones about the war?

CC-1010: No.

L: Nothing? You don’t think being able to witness the senate debates has given you any sort of insight into the politics at play here?

CC-1010: Nope.

L: Uhm. Well. There aren’t many people, clone or otherwise, who get such a close audience with Chancellor Palpatine. Are you and the other Coruscant Guard troopers close with him?

CC-1010: Hm. No.

L: …Thank you for your time.

[Recording stop] [Recording start]

L:  Captain Rex. I appreciate your willingness to, uh, actually speak to me. Have you given much thought to what might happen once the war is over?

CT-7567: Of course. All of us have. But you tend to stop thinking about that pretty early on in your service.

L: Oh? Why is that, do you think?

CT-7567: There’s just not much of a point to it, really. We’ve got too much on our mind every day trying to keep our heads up and keep ourselves and our brothers alive. The end of the war, it’s just not really a factor for us.

L: Right. You’ve been fighting for years now. That must take a toll.

CT-7567: I suppose, but in a sense, it’s just our way of life. We’ve never known anything besides war. How can we imagine a life after it? To a clone, the galaxy has always been, and will always be, at war. I don’t think I would know any other way to navigate the world.

L: That’s… actually very insightful.

CT-7567: You sound surprised?

L: Never mind. Does—does it frighten you, then? Not knowing what might come after?

CT-7567: Not at all. The future might be an unknown, but whatever happens, I know—

[Sound on audio file is the briefing room door opening]

CC-2224: Your boys are at it again.

CT-7567: [groan] Which ones?

CC-2224: All of them. They’re in the quad, Wooley said something about a stolen speeder.

CT-7567: So it’s your boys, then. Your boys who just got bailed out of Corrie holding this morning?

L: Wait, no, we were just getting somewhere, don’t—

CC-2224: My men stepped in to control the situation.

CT-7567: Face it, your troops kriff around and blame mine when the osik hits the filtration system.

[Sound on audio file is CT-7567 and CC-2224 bumping the microphone as they move toward the door]

L: Captain? Commander? Please, if we could at least finish what we—

CC-2224: All I’m saying is, this wouldn’t be the first time the 212th have had to step in to clean up the 501st’s mess.

CT-7567: Mhmm. Is that what happened on Naboo, too?

CC-2224: That’s different and you know it.

[Sound on audio file is briefing room door closing. Following sound is approximately fifteen seconds of Lila groaning increasingly loudly]

L: [long sigh, followed by approximately 7 seconds of silence] It is currently… 1743 hours. I’m still in Briefing Room B, I’ve deleted more useless material than I’ve kept, and I am questioning… every choice I’ve made in my academic career. So. Commander Bly. Can you tell me a little about your relationship with your Jedi General?

CC-5052: No comment.

L: Oh, kark this.

L: …Do you know how to get to 79’s from here?

Thinking about how Echo and Fives wanted to be assigned to another squad.

And everyone was always writing domino squad off, saying they'd end up on maintenance like 99.

What if instead of keeping domino squad together, Shaak Ti agreed to their request and assigned Echo and Fives to the bad batch as their new squad?

Or the other way around, Echo and Fives joining a "competent" squad and Hevy, Cutup, and Droidbait being left behind and stuck in with the other clones who weren't up to spec?

Maybe the trainers just write all of domino squad off as defective, and stick all nine of them together.

It's especially interesting if it happens when they're younger, before domino's graduation trial, so that they all spend more time in training together.

Like. Imagine how the batch would respond to new members added to the squad. Clones that look like regs, but are treated like they're "defective" in the same way. The batch resents them for being able to "pass" for regs and not being treated like somethinhg "other" for their whole lives; while the members of domino don't have any enhancements or advantages, so they have an inferiority complex even compared to the bad batch.

There would be a lot of clashing of personalities, regarless of whether it's all of domino squad or just two or three of them added to the batch. Hunter and Hevy would butt heads because they're both used to being in charge and taking point. Echo and Tech would quote regulations at one another whenever one of them tries to get away with something, and Echo would get protective whenever Tech quotes regulation at Fives. Grim, surly Crosshair would get annoyed by Cutup always cracking jokes. (Wrecker and Droidbait might actually get on fairly well.)

They'll pull together eventually, of course, but it'll take time for them to understand each other. In the end, they become a tight-knit group, very protective of each other.

And if it were Hevy, Cutup, and Droidbait added to the batch because they were left behind, there would be so much potential for angst, feeling abandoned by their former squadmates but not fitting in with their new squad. They'd probably shut everyone else out and stick together, just the three of them, and it would take time for them to open up to their new squadmates.

Does their relationship with their former squadmates improve once Clone Force 99 joins the war and Echo and Fives return for ARC training, and they realize how similarly they operate?

Maybe they start to forgive each other and work together a lot. Maybe CF99 goes rogue on a mission to rescue their regs' batchmate much earlier than in canon. Maybe Fives goes to them when he starts investigating the chips.

(Maybe the whole galaxy is saved because some sub-par regs got thrown in with the defective clones.)

I’m writing something stupidly fluffy about Rex, Echo, and Fives to cope with the finale so here are some headcanons about them:

Fives pulls his brothers into dance parties all the time. He sings and plays loud music and he makes them dance especially when they’re in a bad mood.

Rex got attached to the domino twins after like. Two minutes. Yes those two cling to Rex like they would die without him but he saw them and basically adopted them without a second thought.

Echo can handle pain, discomfort, being annoyed or irritated, any of it. But he’s deathly ticklish and Fives and Rex make his life hell (affectionately) because of it. Minding his own business? He’s getting attacked. Sulking? Looks like they’re going to make him laugh to break up the bad mood. He’s being a shit? Oh they’re gonna have to mess with him. Sorry Echo they don’t make the rules (yes they do). They like to hear him laugh.

Fives is a stage five (lol) clinger. I’m talking hugs and cuddling and wrestling and any and all physical affection. It’s his love language for sure.

Echo accidentally called Rex “dad” in a conversation once and he immediately froze. Went bright red. Rex tried to play it off like he didn’t just hear that but Fives is a terror so he went straight into “oooooooh you just called Rex daaaaaaad”

Rex squeezed Echo’s shoulder and went about his business but he did immediately tell Cody that it happened.

Rex has an excellent singing voice and he has sung both twins to sleep before. Bc I say so that’s why.

Sometimes Rex is peacefully drifting off to sleep and all of a sudden he’s being accosted by one or both domino twins as they crawl into his bed and fall asleep on top of him. It happens so often sometimes he doesn’t even wake up.

The first time one of the twins got hurt after joining the 501st Rex paced the halls and pestered the medics and slept by their bedside until they healed. He was worried sick.

Additionally. After the twins were made ARCs Rex got hurt bad enough that he was unconscious for a few days and when he woke both of them were asleep on either side of the bed. He was so relieved the two of them were okay that he almost forgot that he was the one who just got injured.

Fives snores. Directly into Echo’s ear every. single. time they share a bed. Echo starts to find a lot of comfort in that sound.

Echo always knows when Fives or Rex are upset. I hc that Echo has really bad anxiety and he’s hyper aware of mood shifts and stuff like that. So he knows in the way Fives sighs or how Rex tries to stretch his neck muscles that they’re struggling.

And because he knows. He tries to help. He asks them what’s wrong or tries to talk it out. Maybe he’ll get them a snack or convince them to take a nap.

The three of them have my heart and I’m never going to stop talking about them

Queen in Waiting Daphne Adara Alexia Bizeveron of Domino, Former Guardian Fairy of the Inferno, Former Keeper of the Dragon Flame and The Seventh Nymph of Magix

Daphne is the eldest daughter of King Oritel Henri Bizeveron II and Queen Marion Sophie Bizeveron and the older sister to Bloom Peters.  Daphne was raised during an unstable period of the Magical Dimension.  The Ancestral Witches were rising to power and looking to gain footing wherever they could.  This led to a much more warrior society, not just for Domino, but throughout the Dimension.  While Dominio had always been offensively strong, Daphne was taught from age eight how to wield both physical and magical weaponry.  On top of her elite training Daphne was seen to be a child prodigy, with the Dragon Flame manifesting itself at age four.

Daphne, unlike her younger sister, did not attend Alfea full time, only attending necessary classes and often returning to Domino for strategy briefings, offensive and defensive battle magic training.  Due to her accelerated learning schedule and natural ability, she attained her Enchantix form at age fifteen. Not long after gaining her Enchantix form, the Ancestral Witches began attacking in earnest across the Dimension, specially seeking out the Dragon Flame. Over the next few years Daphne spent months at a time on the front line with other powerful magic users to capture or destroy the Ancestral Witches.

It was her prowess in battle that bought the attention of the Nymphs of Magix.  The Nymphs of Magix are nine of the most powerful magic users in the Magical Dimension and are often called the Rulers of Fate.  During a particular dangerous battle the Seventh Nymph, Eleanora, was stripped of her magic and killed by the Dark Wizard Valtor, and Daphne was deemed both stable and powerful enough to take her position as the Seventh Nymph.  During the Final Battle of Domino, all nine nymphs were killed and stripped of their magic by the Ancestral Witches, apart from Daphne.

During the Final Battle, Daphne stripped the Dragon Flame from herself and gave it to her new born sister Bloom, using her final magic to create a portal to send Bloom to Terra. Daphne was later drained of her magic and left for dead once Domino was destroyed, however, she was able to connect her life force to Blooms through a long-forgotten blood spell shown to her by the Nymphs.  Because of her spirit still being alive, Daphne was the last and the Supreme Nymph of Magix.

Daphne is a serious and strong willed fairy, who will put duty before anything else.  Her war time attitude never truly fades and this often causes clashes with those around her in modern Magix.  She is often calm, however, is prone to outbursts when she believes people are not listening to her.  Due to her high standing and extremely powerful magical core, Daphne can sometimes view herself as superior to others and can be condescending.  However, she is ultimately kind hearted and extremely loyal to those who have earned her trust.

Solaria’s capital city is called Sunburst (this is where the Palace is too!)

But the Seleneites call their main city Moonshine city (more temples are here but they have a smaller palace type home for the guardian of the Seleneites)

Solaria is basically one big landscape with a few smaller islands surrounding it

Think beautiful blue seas, sandy beaches and a whole lot of vineyards (Solaria is technically a big supplier of alcohol)

There are a whole lot of coastal towns in Solaria and some of them attract a whole lot of tourists from Magix and other planets

For the Seleneites like I said there are more temples, they worship the moon and celebrate the gods bit more then the sun part of Solaria does

There was tension between the two factions of Solaria because they did things completely differently from each other

Solarian’s worshipped the sun and mostly worked through the day and slept during the night

Seleneites worshipped the moon and worked through the night and slept during the day

So there were complications when Radius’s father wanted to bring the two together (he and his wife Raye were both pure solarian btw)

So when Radius decides to marry Luna it comes as a huge shock to both factions as it had never happened before

Stella was technically the first Solselene child since there had been no recorded birth of one before her

Solaria is home to a lot of performers

Like beast tamers (More from Domino)

Fire breathers (these hail mostly from Domino though)

Acrobats

Dancers (they also hail from Andros)

Magicians (although these are quite scarce now)

There are lots of circuses and just random performances going on around Solaria at times

Especially during the festival’s!

Domino next!

It’s capital city is called Sparx (yeah cause I’m not changing domino to Sparx no way)

The people of Domino live quite close to the five lakes and it means there are several bridges connecting towns and cities

It’s also quite barren in terms of greenery due to the dragons so they have to import a lot of stuff

Domino being the home of the dragons does mean you also have areas that are bare ground or down in caves so they don’t hurt the people

Most in Domino have skills with communicating with dragons and magical creatures due to their being a lot of them on Domino

The royal family have guardian dragons

Marion’s father had a dragon named Alfor whilst her dragon is named Elowyn

She’s very good at dragon riding because of this (sometimes she’ll teach the new guards in case they need new soldiers to fly)

So yeah there’s dragon riding for the royal family and for those lucky enough to connect with a dragon (also the royal guard have dragons or Pegasi)

Like I said Dominon’s connect with creatures easily (like how Linphean’s connect with plants easily) due to the fact that the dragons brought more animals when they landed

Which means these people had to make sure they lived in harmony so they didn’t taint the relationship with the dragons

So it’s often you’ll see a family being close with wolves or reptiles due to this, for example Oritel actually bonded with a panther cub named Fell and he grew up with him!

Domino has festival’s like the dragon dance or the masque ball of autumn

The Royals will basically put on a show with their dragons, showing the bond they have

Basically a chance for everyone no matter what status to be equal and celebrate the death of autumn so they are well rested for the hard work they’ll have to face in winter!

(It’s also a chance for romance to bloom 👀)

I’m also gonna quickly note about the five lakes they are the lakes the og dragons landed in before they settled on Domino!

Yeah Domino is quite a strong planet! But it welcomes connections with the others to keep peace!

Thank you for the asks @porcelain-animatronic and anon! Apologises this took really long. I have two other asks (involving Hancock and Ahzrukahl) which'll hopefully be out soon. I've had a lot going on lately, so I appreciate your patience! A heads-up, I haven't personally played Dead Money, so I hope you can forgive me if it's canon conflicting. My dumbass wrote Christina, instead of Christine.

Dean Domino

I really like the head canon that Dean has beef with pre-war singers, I feel like he’s got major beef with Frank Sinatra.

He was a childhood prodigy. His talent was discovered at a young age by his mother, who made him sign up to a childhood talent TV show. He won and only skyrocketed from there, hence his ego.

At some point when he turned 14, he lost his fame and became, for lack of a better term, “washed out” and he fell into the background. His mother wasn’t too happy about this, so he ran away to Vegas, and he’d get by busking and later performing at mid-end clubs. 

That was until he got into hot water at 17 after he was caught with chems. This actually skyrocketed him to fame again. Everyone was booking him in.

A playboy for sure, he flirted with anyone to get his way. Especially when he met Vera Keys again to lure her into joining his heist. However, he actually didn’t sleep around unless he was in a relationship with them. His spark and skill in flirting died down, but he's trying to get it back.

Really pissed off about his hair loss, but is glad about how he kept his moustache. Once he got out of the Sierra Madre, he left and immediately went to find a wig. 

After which, he immediately went to the Tops to find a job. It was hard at first to get on the strip considering ghouls aren’t allowed in without humans, but assuming Mr House is still alive and recognises him or the NCR allows ghouls onto the strip, he eventually manages. Convincing people he is Dean Domino was the harder part. Tommy eventually relented and let him perform. Now exclusively performs there.

Christine Royce

Perfect childhood friends with Veronica. They’re friends to lovers. Romanced her by bringing her all sorts of junk she could disassemble and reassemble. 

Got along with Elijah, but Christine parents thought that they were just “”really, *really* close gal-pals.” Eventually they couldn’t deny it that their daughter was a lesbian was sort of came to terms of it. 

They did push the two to at least surrogate, at least were the most polite about it.

Christine would watch and listen to Veronica talk and talk about historical texts and engineering for hours and hours on end, falling in love with her more. 

She was always slightly suspicious of Elijah, despite Elijah’s politeness, he was always trying to drive the two apart once everything came out. 

When she was first assigned to track him down, she’d write letters to Veronica, but she never got them, unfortunately. Upon encountering the courier, the courier put two and two together and told her about Veronica. 

Veronica, upon hearing about Christine broke down into tears on the strip, a few steps away into the Lucky 38. Veronica was hysterical and getting comforted by Arcade and Lily. They had a chat that lasted for hours explaining everything. She found about Elijah (I hc to personally have him trapped in the vault.)

Unsure of what to do, Veronica wanted to track her down and get her to become a member of the Followers. At some point, Veronica figured out to radio communicate with her. While Christina had to use Morse code to communicate, she was over the moon. Eventually, with the help of Raul over the radio, she managed to get the Autodoc to her reconstruct her vocal cords. However, she is absolutely terrified of Autodocs still and claustrophobic.

A year later, they decided to get married over the radio, and it was a big event, being broadcasted in a few places in Freeside and throughout the Sierra Madre, even Dean Domino and Dog/God dropped by to send her a message congratulating them. As the courier knew the King, he performed “love me tender” at their wedding and Lily, along with help from Cass and other followers, made them wedding garments. I can see Veronica in a pretty dress while Christina is in a suit, however, she could also wear a dress too.

Veronica also informed the BOS of what happened to Elijah and Christina. Christina's parents were overjoyed that she was alive, but still sent their reluctant congratulations to the newly-weds. Some of their old comrades also sent them well wishes.

Dog/God

I don't have a whole lot, but they're one of my favourite mutants.

Dog often mistakes the courier as the Master due to the look in their eyes, their tone of voice is similar to the master too.

Dog/God managed to become one personality again thanks to the couriers help. While the group leaves, they discuss names, but doesn’t like any of those. The courier encourages the newly reborn mutant to think for himself and choose his own name.

He tries to settle down at various settlements, Novac, Freeside, Westside eventually hearing about Utobitha. After arriving, Neil, recognised him by the scar on his chest and confused that the two personalities became one. After a long convo and explanation, Neil recognised the courier and redirected him to Jacobstown. 

While at Jacobstown, many supermutants and nightkin remembered him, but he did not remember himself. It was a *long* week explaining what happened.  With the help of others, he names himself Alexander. 

Alexander, decided to help Jacobstown by supporting his fellow Nightkin and became a wandering trade. He reached out to other settlements and offered to exchange goods and open up trades

He never really saw or heard from the courier again after stopping by to wish Veronica and Christine well wishes.

So, chat, how we feelin' about the idea of homunculi being cold-blooded?

Since homunculi were originally designed to be super soldiers, not having to eat as much as warm-blooded people is perfect for sending them out on longer missions when they really need to carefully ration out supplies. And lucky for Makoto, that means a less likely chance he'd ever run out of bodies to feed Kanai Ward's citizens! Living with the constant rain, they can also maintain fairly stable body temperatures when outside thanks to the humidity. Akin to some cold-blooded animals, homunculi are also capable of regenerating limbs! So if a homunculus were to have a finger, arm, or even head cut clean off, they could fully regenerate it back in their zombified state if they die with such injuries. Cold-blooded animals are also known to have very vibrant courtship rituals that can involve showing off colors, dances, calls (which could translate to singing/humming/whistling for homunculi), etc, so do with that what you will, shippers!

Why do you think nobody from other planets joined the Company? Why Valtor only attacked Domino and nobody ever did anything? And when he came back (during Bloom's third yeard because season 8 barely exists for me) no one seemed to know who he was? Did they not know Domino was in danger?

I always thought that the Council is part of the problem. Not that they wanted Domino to suffer damage but how would it look if everyone learns that under their governance the Ancestral Witches amassed so much power and are after becoming even more powerful. That would be really bad PR so they did everything possible to keep it quiet.

On the other end, I'm also leaning towards the idea that Domino themselves wanted everything kept under wraps. They are the most powerful/prosperous realm and they have a reputation to keep as well. Begging other realms for help could potentially threaten them if it makes them look weak, not to mention that there's no way that there aren't those who'd love to see Domino fall. In interdimensional politics it is absolutely unrealistic to think that everyone would get along and have the same goals. There would be planets with their leaders who'd wish harm on Domino and would join the Coven if they knew of it.

Which brings me to Valtor. In canon this aspect of his character is somewhat poorly handled because he is so ridiculously overpowered that he can just strut into any realm and announce his presence to all the authorities without facing consequences. That completely eliminates any kind of stakes from the story and he should have just blown up the Council and appointed himself ruler of the universe if he is truly that powerful and unstoppable. It does not check out.

Still, canon gives us the suggestion that Valtor pulls the strings from behind the curtains more than he uses his incredible power to brute-force his way to victory. I can see him doing that before the fall of Domino as well, which means the Coven had allies in high positions, who would work against Domino. Even if Marion and Oritel had wanted to expose the Coven, Valtor could easily turn that against them through the politicians he's charmed into working for him to deter them from doing that.

Going back to the Council's problem with the optics of this whole thing - they would have done some coverup for what happened on Domino. I can see them presenting it as an isolated incident with a tragic ending but look! Something good came out of it! The Ancestral Witches have been destroyed for good and now all of the other realms are safe. See? There's no reason to worry. Everyone go back to day-to-day life now, thank you!

There's always going to be someone that's more concerned with image than they are with working the actual problem and in this case that worked out great for Valtor (and the Coven).

Domino Headcanon Time, Hoes

I am working on a fic for this post but it wont be out for a while because I have a dumb dumb idiot baby brain and will focus on it way more than anything else.

so in the meantime, here are alot of headcanons about the Domino Squad some of these are sad

Domino age order from oldest to youngest: Hevy, Fives, Echo, Cutup, Droidbait

Domino squad is an actual defect squad where as the bad batch was made to have their 'defects'

because they were defects none of their chips worked the way the were supposed to

Hevy isnt good at spelling. He's not allowed to send out any reports without someone proof reading them for him.

Fives is the motherhen of the group. Hes the only one who can safely get inbetween Hevy and Echo when their arguements go a little too far.

Echo was considered the runt of the batch, and was often watched for decommisioning. It was constantly held over his head, which is why he became obsessed with the rules. If he could follow their rules and hit all the bench marks then they would have no reason to decommission him.

Cutup loves music but has absolutely no musical talent. This does not stop him from screeching lyrics to the galaxies most popular songs across the base.

Droidbait is often left behind on accident, he has been left in the mess hall more times than he can count.

Hevy and Echos relationship wasnt always rocky. At one point they were pretty close but after the multiple decomming scares, Echo pulled away to make it easier for Hevy if anything happened.

Echo didnt choose his name, he didnt like it at all but the rest of the squad made sure that he never had the chance to introduce himself so he was stuck with what they had named him. In the end, he kept it because he saw it as the one and only gift he had left from his batchmates.

Outside of missions, Fives went silent for months after the citadel and the only person who could get him to talk was Rex.

Droidbait insists on going by db because its 'less embarassing'

Cutup was the only one to embrace their squads differences. He would would practically hold an open mic night on any other cadets who would pick at them.

the cadets around Kamino will often tell one another about the "Fall of the Dominos" about how three died heros but were never spoken of again and how the two survivors went insane from grief and one lost his mind while the other lost his body.

Hevy use to steal pudding cups for Droidbait when they were cadets. he never had a reason to do it he just would.

theres a dent in one of the walls in their pod room and no one really knows how it got dented (Hevy Kyled the wall)

Echo has spiral curls that he purposefully keeps buzzed down because otherwise Cutup would start playing with them

This is a pretty common headcanon for Fives but theres too much evidence behind it, Fives shows affection through boardline violence, he gave Cutup a concussion once after an overly affectionate headbutt. Droidbait has multiple bruises on his arms from loving punches. Hevy got shoved into Sergeant O'Niner once and was given cleaning duty for a week that he forced Fives to do with him. During their 501st days he got a little too touchy with Echo and he started fighting back and ended up chasing Fives to Rex's office on multiple occassions.

and yes i do think Fives and Echo are pod twins, its another reason why Echo was watched for decommisioning.

Domino timeline rewrite

Edit: after thinking about it more, I thought of ways to make it make more sense.

This is my rewrite for the Domino wonky timeline. I just need to advise on whether it makes sense and there aren't any plotholes.

Bloom is the second princess of Domino. Her parents were King Oritel and Queen Marion, with an older sister named Daphne, the current Keeper of the Dragon Flame. When she was born, the Dragon Flame chose her as its next guardian. She was raised for a few months on Domino when the Three Ancestral Witches tried to steal the Dragon Flame. Daphne fought them but the Three Witches combined their powers to curse her. If she were to use her Dragon powers, they would turn against her.

After realizing she wasn't going to defeat them, she grabbed Bloom and hid their presence inside the palaces hidden chambers that only the royal family new of.

Thinking that Daphne had somehow gotten away with Bloom, they froze the kingdom in ice. This ice reached Daphne and Bloom in the hidden chamber and froze them. For the next 300 years, the Dragon Flame slowly melted the ice. With whatever magic she had left in her weakened state, she transfered the Dragon Flame to Bloom and sent her to Earth. By doing so, this activated the curse, and she sacrificed her life. Bloom was discovered by Mike, a firefighter, in a house fire. He brought her home to his wife, Vanessa, and they adopted her. They raised for 16 years before she discovered she was a fairy.

Another aspect I would include in the 13 if I could write them was all of them being prone to bickering with each other. When you put 13 demigods who are all varying levels of arrogant in one room sparks tend to fly.

Oh, I consider the original Primes as true, full-blown gods as each of them had taken more pieces of Primus on purpose.

But yeah, they most definitely bicker and form posses and shit talk across the planet.

The reasons why there isn't more of those particular fables are because of ongoing destruction via imperialism, colonization, and revisionist history.

You had the remaining Primes by guilt, grief, and rage striking down records in the aftermath of their dead and scattered siblings, the constant warfare between Prima's Guiding Hand and the coalition of Wilders made of Predacons, beastformers, and other bipedal mecha, Lost Colonies with failing space-bridges, the Quintessons immensely fucking with things within their "Crown Jewel of the Empire" to make it more manageable and docile, the aftermath of rebellion to kick out the Quintessons, planetwide operations that destroyed the natural resources to the point of widespread deprivation, the caste system, and another civil war.

So much had been lost either by design or complete accident.

Echo headcanons

· he is like a grandad. Still stuck in the strict mindset of the war and picky - prefering his traditional food and traditional mindset but ends up finding mental salvation in very simple things like a soft blanket and chair in the evening sun. Being able to appreciate isolation has been his personal goal since Skako set in a constant fear of being alone.

· it's how he finally managed to find his place on Pabu.

· he never stopped, but he was able to return to a place of sanctuary and came back much more frequently.

· he appreciates the Pabu food, but his favourites are imported junk like hard candies - memories of the non-perishable snacks they brought on missions in the war.

· Echo loves a Werther's original.

· the Batch bought him a teddy bear cardigan and he wears it every evening without fail. He brings it with him when he's working with Rex and when he gets a spare moment, he wraps himself in the smell of Pabu and his brothers.
