Across from him, Soldier Boy is slouched back, boots on the seat, eating a burger like it’s his last meal. It might be. Hard to tell with him.

Soldier Boy: [talking through a mouthful] You ever eat, Cas? Or are you all… angelic energy and unresolved sexual tension?

Castiel: [deadpan] I don’t require sustenance the way humans do.

Soldier Boy: [grinning] Yeah, yeah, celestial metabolism, divine physique, I get it. But you can eat.

Castiel: [shrugging slightly] Yes.

Soldier Boy: [grabbing a fry, waving it] Then humor me. Just one. Live a little.

Castiel: [tilts head, taking the fry, chewing slowly, contemplating it like it holds the secrets of the universe]

Soldier Boy: [watching, eyes twinkling] Well?

Castiel: [deadpan] It is… an adequate source of carbohydrates and sodium.

Soldier Boy: [laughs, slaps the table] Damn, you’re adorable. I half expected you to analyze it down to its atomic structure.

Castiel: [serious] I could, if that would please you.

Hear me out. I am still a firm believer (firm delulu more like) that Ten was so heartbroken after Master died in his arms, making him the Last Time Lord for real this time, that, when he was traveling alone after that and started his unhinged "the time lord victorious" era, one day he just said "to hell with all the rules in the universe" and came back to the Sarn (Planet of fire) to save and heal Ainley!Master bc of his guilt and grief.

Like look at that man? He would definitely do smth like that with pain still fresh. Just to see his Koschei once more.

(And because there's NOT A SINGLE other explanation for how Master could've survived THAT. You can think of a way from Cheetah planet or Castrovalva, but dying in a fire with screams of agony and no backup plan? NO WAY.)

Needless to say, Master understood immediately who he is and was very bitter and angsty that his Fifth version just watched him dying and left. AGAIN.

And the sweet extra bonus is that Doctor remembers how four of his regenerations left this version of Master in a Death Zone when he tried to help not so long ago and how this Master wanted Seventh to kill him on a Cheetah planet, so he felt even more like shit. Now he would have given anything to have him back and willing to work together. Just think about all the angst..... INSANE

You try prying the collar of your shirt off of your neck with stone cold, clumsy fingers, but it doesn't make it any better. Your time is up and you haven't written a single letter. You feel embarrassment creeping up your neck, running out and locking yourself in the toilet stall. You don't even dare to pull down the waistband of your pants, just don't want to face it now. That poor girl didn't even know what kind of delusional thoughts ran through your mind in the span of an hour, and that's definitely for the best. You'll just jerk off about it later and try to forget, unsuccessfully. You know your mind hold on to these kinds of memories with unknown strengths...

I start slowly catching up my luck shines through when I get the long ass snake. Finally I reached square 95 just a few steps from victory. I roll a 6 again which would crown me a winner.

Instead i pause and hand you the dice

You freeze and your lips tremble and you start crying it's like a waterfall from both of your eyes

I regret immediately I had almost distracted you now (i can't go one minute without being corny huh fuck-) the storm I managed to pull you away from is back again.
