America was lurking around the place and her mothers took notice. America mostly lurks when she wants something so they went to confront her.

"Kiddo, we see you lurking, what's the problem"said Elena.

America stammered, "Uhh... well, I-"

"You can tell us anything" said Amalia.

" Can I please get...tickled on the tummy" America said then closed her eyes, expecting to be teased or shunned. Instead she felt 4 hands go under her hoodie and start scribbling and squeezing.

"Wahahahit"giggled America.

"Why the wait, you wanted this didnt you" said Amalia, why was swirling her nail in America' navel,this drove America up the wall.

Elena moved America's shirt up and nibbled all over her America's tum.

America was in complete hysetrics."Mahahami *snort* pleahahse"

"Please what's said Amalia and Elena in unison tapping their fingers on her stomach.

" Ihihi dohont knohohow" America responded.

America's moms both gave out raspberries on her stomach which prompted America to throw her head back.

America eventualy let herself melt into the tickles, she was thankful for her moms' willingfulness to do this for her.

They stopped and gave her a big hug "You dont need to feel ashamed to ask us mija" said Amalia.

America took a sigh of relief, tried to get uo but was put back down.

"Oh we're not done" said Elena.

America was then thrown back into hysterics

Multiversal Variants #1

Summary: Basically a What If...? for Finding Family - scenes that could have gone a different way than what happened in the fic, some with more drastic results than others.

This variant returns to Part Five: Chapter Five.  In the original chapter, a variant of Wanda, with America at her side, just killed the Thanos in her universe.  When she and America got back, America’s mom, Elena, and Wanda got into an argument, where Wanda called Elena out for her hypocrisy in terms of what she did to find America vs. what Wanda did to protect her family.

This version of the argument goes differently.

“You didn’t think that the Snap would rip you from America again?”  Wanda’s raises her voice, and that hits America square in the chest first before even thinking about what Wanda is saying.  The words hit her next, the understanding of them, and then she feels it, too, the rage simmering beneath the surface that must be all Wanda can feel right now.

Elena takes a deep breath.  “In some universe, maybe.  It’s inevitable.  But America’s power protects her from getting Snapped.  It would rip her from this universe into another one, and that’s in the one out of an unknowable number of universes that—”

“It would still happen in one of them!”  Wanda’s voice grows louder again, and she glares at her mother, eyes flinching with a scarlet that she barely holds within her.  “You can’t decide which one if you don’t do something with the knowledge you have!”  She doesn’t stop.  “You dream of infinite universes, and those dreams warn you about possible futures, but you get mad when I use dreams to understand—”

“There is a difference between dreaming and dreamwalking,” Elena growls.  In her anger, she has grown cold, even as the blue-white flame sparkles in her eyes.  “We thought when the book was destroyed that you would stop that nonsense, but you’ve done it so often that you—”

“—memorized the spell.”  Wanda’s head tilts ever so slightly, and she smiles.  “I dream more than I walk, Mother.  I only walk when my dreams suggest that something is wrong.  I only walk to protect myself.”  She chuckles.  “To protect my other selves.  Some of them make such foolish decisions.  Like trying to destroy the Darkhold across the entire universe by raining a mountain down on herself.  You can destroy a mountain without self-sacrifice.  I’m sure she would be grateful for my interference.”

America stays where she is, and she listens to their conversation, and only once – just once – does Wanda glance in her direction, brief enough that her mom doesn’t see it, and it is then, just then, when she mentions the gratefulness that some other version of herself should have.  And she feels it, then, the knowledge that this Wanda has about that entire situation.  It’s a hunger, growling, gnawing at her stomach.

If you dreamed of the mountain, then you dreamed of me, America thinks in her direction, loud enough that she’s sure Wanda will hear it if she’s listening for it.  You knew her grief.  You—

“You ripped that decision from her,” Elena says, finishing the sentence America hadn’t meant to think.

Wanda grins, and America is struck with the realization that Wanda doesn’t need the Scarlet Witch to be terrifying, never needed that image to send chills down her spine.  She’d only needed to look like this.  “In one universe.  But even my decision to rip the decision from her would cause a split in both of our universes – causing one where I chose and succeeded, one where I chose and failed, and one where I chose to do otherwise.  Three universes now, instead of two, and no incursion.  That doesn’t sound so bad, does it?”

Before she can stop herself, without even thinking, America stands, runs the short distance to a distracted Wanda, and punches her in the face.  Her knuckles crack, but when Wanda drops from the force of the hit, there’s no blood and no broken bones.  That’s something, at least.

America shakes her hand, looks up, meets her mom’s eyes, and sighs. “I’m getting a little tired of punching witches in the face.”

The glow of magic fades from her mom’s eyes, and Elena steps forward. “America—”

“No, no.”  America holds one hand up.  “I have had enough family time for one day.”  She walks past her mom.  “I will be in my room, and I don’t want visitors.  Please.”

She doesn’t wait for a response.  She’s not sure she wants one.

Chapter 24

The end of scarlet witch

When America closes the portal you shed a few tears, lifting yourself of the ground to the table you kneel on it. the building starts shake “what now” she asks as they stand Infront of you.

“I opened the Darkhold. I have to close it. No one will ever be tempted by the Darkhold Again” you said

 

Sam node at you “well then you close it then we all leave”

“Sam” cas call him.

Sam shakes his head looking at you “that’s suicidal, she can’t scarify herself”.

You glance at America and node at her as she opens the portal, klaus and dean drag Sam to through the portal, before the portal can close, they see you breakdown the pillars that hold the temple up and huge rubbles starts to fall down.

Sam thrash around in klaus and deans hold he goes rigid as the large stone fall up on you. The whole temple collapses.

 A red glow cover the whole place and Wong walk out the place to see everything in place as if the battle happened. Suddenly cas appears with bonnie along with them they gasp at them, seeing them klaus speed to the front to see all his family as well the mystic falls gang alive looking around puzzled, his knees buckle as red mist cover him as well feeling his vampiric part of him coming back.

“Were we dead?” Kol asks his brother

Klaus look up to them “oh brother you have no idea” he rushes to them, the mikaelsons brother embrace bonnie rush out the as well running to her friends embracing her friends. 

Inside cas and earth 838 cas look at each other with a tilted head “your me from another universe and your human as well”

“Yes correct” other cas node before turning to America “could you sent me back my home?”

America nodes and open a portal other cas walk inside turning back to them “it was good to see you again. Sam and dean.” He nodes at them 

Dean look at Sam who was blue, he slowly walks outside to the front of the temple he sighs in relief when he sees the others alive.

Sam, dean and cas watch them as they talk among them. Dean glance at Sam “it was her decision sam, you can’t beat yourself up for that”

Cas sigh at that “I’ll take it that she sacrificed herself”

“You were right, she was just like us” dean adds ‘don’t worry sam it’s going to okey”

“I’m fine. It’s just sad that even in the end she only had herself to comfort her” sam state. “But she made everything right at the end”

“Guys what happened to y/n” bonnie ask them

Sam shook his head “No”.

Bonnie inside hurt a little at that she heard klaus saying you died she just sam or dean to say, and now hearing from sam lips part of her sad yet there was little peace knowing that you died. After thanking everyone America had gone back to her universe. Finally, everything seems to be going back to normal as it can be, after all lots of warriors were died during the battle hopefully earth 838 also able to overcome the loss of their superheroes.

Finding Family: Part Five: Chapter Two

Summary: When America begins universe-hopping again to try and find her moms, she realizes that’s too much scope for her.  She looks for smaller scope, and instead she finds Wanda.

Two months ago….

Time runs differently in the multiverse.  Some universes run parallel to each other, with each week, each day, each moment, each second running exactly the same to the other.  One might say the one nearest to it, but this would be wrong.  Universes do not really lie next to each other so much as they are spliced one on top of the other in layers so thin as to be translucent and invisible, and even then, they aren’t really layers that can be sliced apart so much as they are one whole tangled mess.  To punch through to another universe often means that there are openings to a million other ones in the sharp edges of that blinding white star – in fact, it is those millions of other universes that shine bright and form the star itself, not that America ever notices this, not that she has ever needed to notice it.  But it’s this entanglement of the universe that is the reason her flight response passed her through so many before finding the right one for her to land – every single one of her portals, even those she has made herself with the power she now mostly has under control, has those universes between where she is and where she wants to be, it’s just that her control allows her stars to be more seamless and less fragmented, so that she gets an easy travel from point A to point B without having to go through all of the infinite points in-between.

The universe America finds herself in now is not one of those that runs parallel to the one she just left.  This happens every now and again; actually, it happens more often than she’s noticed because America isn’t always aware of the exact time or place of the universe she’s in to know that the one she’s traveled to is different.  Just because there are dinosaurs in one universe doesn’t mean it’s not still May 7, 2019 there, too; it just means that May 7 looks differently there than here.

Sometimes.

America is more in tune with seasons.  She knows that it was fall edging into winter in the universe where she left Scarlet and Wendy behind, knows from the way the leaves had been turning golden and crimson before falling and becoming crackling mulch under her feet, knows from the chill in the air that had been growing sharper and harsher, knows from the first few flakes of snow that had fallen while Scarlet was at Kamar-Taj.

But it isn’t near winter where she’s landed.  In fact, it isn’t even fall.  There is a hint of a chill in the air, but it’s encompassed in something much warmer and much more humid.  The flowers set on the windowsills and the creeping ivy hanging from their pots on the ceiling are both green and vibrant, which could just be due to the care their owners have given them, but the flowers, in particular, have just started to blossom, their petals not even delicately chosen to bloom yet.  It’s spring here, it must be, but whether that’s an earlier spring or a later spring, she can’t tell.  It’s possible that the time here is only a few months off, separated by milliseconds that have grown and grown over however long it’s been since it split from its original universe, but to know that, America would need to know which original universe that was—

And she would have to be a lot more interested and knowledgeable in these sorts of things than she is right now.

To be really honest?  America doesn’t know any of these intricate things.  She only knows that it is spring here, when it was fall where she left, aware of the time difference between the two universes as she has been when she’s noticed it in other universes.  But she doesn’t know the why of it, doesn’t know there is a why of it.

There is so much of her powers and how they work that she does not know, but none of that is truly important in this moment.  What’s important is that both of her moms are here: her mama brushing her hand through her dark hair, pushing it back out of her face, and her mom holding her chin in one hand, turning her face this way and that, as though examining her.  All gentle, nothing harsh.  Then her mom pulls her into an embrace again, while her mama steps away.

America buries her head in her mom’s chest and tries not to be hurt that her mama leaves her to speak with another Wanda Maximoff, this one holding a bundle wrapped in blue and staring wide-eyed at the three of them.  She tries.  But it still stings.  She has lived more of her life without her moms than she has with them, and she wants them all to herself, not to have to share them.

And yet.

“This is our daughter, America,” her mama says, gesturing to America. “She’s the one who made the portal that—”

“I know.  I saw.” This new Wanda stares past America’s mama and at her.  “I’ve dreamed you, you know.  I’ve seen this happen multiple times.  I never thought it would happen here.”  What she means is I never wanted it to happen here, but she’ll never say it.  She doesn’t need to say it.

The baby in her arms starts to cry, and Wanda holds him protectively to herself.  She glances to him, and a smile brighter than anything America has ever seen on her Wanda’s face spreading across her lips.  Her long, straight hair brushes the outside of the bundle as she bends down to the bundle in her arms, and she presses a kiss to his forehead.  “C’mon, Billy.  Let’s get you some food.”

When Wanda walks out, another figure stays, holding the other bundle cradled in his arms.  America has heard about Wanda’s Vision, but she’s never really met him.  She’s seen the one in horror-verse, the one that must have been meshed with Ultron, the one who, at one point, belonged with Ash, but he was much different than the person standing in the room with her now.  This one – if it even is a Vision, although there are enough similarities to safely assume that it is – is actually wearing clothes, for one thing – a soft brown sweater vest with olive green plaid over a rumpled white button-up, khaki slacks, and dark suede shoes.  A golden stone similar to the emerald green one she’d seen with Pixie fits just in the center of his forehead – and this is no different than the one she’d seen in horror-verse – but the scarlet shade of his face and his hands are.

It’s the bright blue eyes, though, that startle her with just how human they seem.

“You are America Chavez,” he says, and his voice is both deeper and warmer than she’d expected.  He’s gentle.  Achingly so. And something about that runs against something within her that didn’t know it still felt so sharp, but it does.  He soothes just by speaking, not in the sense that a teddy bear might with a child, but more in the sense of a warm blanket and a mug of hot chocolate on a cold autumn day.

“Yeah,” she says, and then, “and you’re the Vision my Wanda fell in love with,” because it has never been more evident to her than in this moment.

Vision smiles, and it’s an awkward sort of refusal of her statement.  “I have never met your Wanda,” he says, correcting her, “and whatever version of me exists or existed in that universe cannot be the same one that exists here.  We may have made similar choices, but we are not on the same path.  Unfortunately, I am not the Vision yours fell in love with, although we might be quite similar. I take it you have never met him?”

America presses her lips together and gives a little shake of her head. “He’s dead.  Thanos killed him.”  Her brow furrows.  “Actually, he convinced my Wanda to kill him first, and then Thanos undid that and killed him a second time.  And then Wanda made another version of him in this place where she controlled reality, but it was hurting people, so she had to kill him again?  It’s kind of complicated.”

The first time she mentions Vision’s death, this Vision softens with sympathy.  Then she elaborates, and as she does, each mention of Vision dying hits him harder and harder until he holds up a hand, stopping her.  “I think perhaps I should leave you to your mothers.  Please excuse me.”

America turns back to her moms, and it hits her again.  She’s here.  They’re here.  This is it.  This is what she has been trying to do for most of her life without succeeding – Wanda just reached into her mind and created this, this moment, and on the one hand, it should erase all of the antipathy she has towards her, and on the other, she’s not really thinking about Wanda right now.  Not anymore than she needs to, given the situation.

Her mama moves back to her, takes her hand in hers, and moves her to the nearest chair.  She cups America’s cheek with her hand and brushes away tears that America hadn’t even known she’d had.  “How long has it been?” she asks, dark eyes bright.  “Where all have you been?  Tell us everything.  Tell us how you got back to us.”

And America does.

 America is not a storyteller the way that Wendy is, but as she explains things to her moms, she finds herself pulling on some turns of phrase that the Wanda she loves uses.  Every time she starts to exaggerate, though, her mom gives her the stern look that she’d always used, even when America was young (and she’d always been young around her moms, so much younger than she is now) and that she still recognizes as cut out your shit (even though before she’d used much younger language). But there are some things that aren’t exaggerations, and no matter how much her mom gives her that look of disbelief, her arms crossed, she can’t change the truth as it is.  When that happens, her mom’s brows shoot up so high they hide beneath her sweeping bangs, an expression that America hasn’t seen in so long that it makes her heart ache with fondness.

It’s only as America reaches the end, explaining how Wanda reached into her mind, triggered her powers, and created that first portal that she pauses, brows furrowing with confusion.  She continues to explain exactly what happened – how the portal first opened into that moment in her far past, which doesn’t seem possible but was, and how something changed and she began to create multiple, multiple portals, each leading to a different universe where her moms were.  That…she can make sense of that, almost, because there are different variants, but—

“If there’s only one me,” America says, confused, “there should only be one of each of you.  One mom and one mama for one me.  But,” and she struggles to put into words the concept that she doesn’t understand, “there weren’t.  There were a lot of portals to a lot of you.  And in some of them….”  This is the worst part, the part she understands the least.  “In some of them, there were others of me.  But I’m the only me.”  She looks up and meets her mama’s eyes.  “Dreams are windows into the multiverse, and I don’t dream – I mean, I do dream now, I have nightmares, but those aren’t…those aren’t other mes, those are something else – and I checked in all those other universes for another version of me, and I never found one.  There’s only one me, so how are there portals that showed other worlds with other yous and other mes?”

“Oh, my darling girl,” her mama says, fond smile softening a face that now has tear tracks down her cheeks, “there is only one you in the entire multiverse.  You are the one who found your way to us, who came here instead of any of the other universes—”

“What other universes?” America meets her mama’s eyes, still confused.  “There’s only one of you, and only one of me!  There can’t be other universes where—”

But her mama shares a look with her mom, one of those looks that always meant they weren’t explaining something to her, that they were keeping something from her – and it’s funny how America had almost forgotten about these small things in the decade since she’d seen her moms but how quickly she remembers them, how quickly she understands them – and this would be heartwarming if they weren’t keeping something from her.

“What?” America asks, gaze moving from her mama to her mom and then back again. “What is it?  What aren’t you telling me?”

But it isn’t her mama who speaks then, it’s her mom, who kneels down in front of her, places her hands on America’s knees, and looks up so that their eyes can meet.  Her mom’s eyes are darker than her mama’s – much closer to black with swirls of gray than her mama’s warm honey amber glow – but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still warm or comforting.  “America, I don’t know why you believe differently, but in an infinite multiverse, there must also be infinite variations of you.  No matter who you are, no matter who any of us are, there will always be other versions of us.  Always. Do you understand me?”

America stares at her mom.  She holds her gaze, and she searches it, just in case.  It’s impossible to believe that her mom would be outright lying to her, but it’s just as impossible to believe what her mom is saying, too.  “No,” she says.  “I don’t understand.  I don’t dream.  I’ve never met another me.  That’s impossible.  Impossible.”

Her mama reaches over and gently places a hand on hers.  “My darling girl, in an infinite multiverse, nothing is impossible.”

Cas led them to the book they get to the underground and climb down the steps when Klaus look up, he sees the red glow “she is near “

They move fast as cas lock up the door

“Where that tunnel goes?” dean asks

The opening of door causes them to look back to see you use your power to open the door you are limping blood all over, you eye glow red. Klaus try to fight you but Sam held him back “not now”.

“Go go go “dean yells

You blast the two tables away from your way limping your way towards them cas push the buttons on the side closing up the doors you blast one after another chasing after them they slow down after seeing you gone as cas pushed the last button. They stand glancing at door warily the water drip down the celling

“Where did she go?” America asks no one particular

Suddenly you appear out the side making them scared and America and dean to let out a scream your face had scars and bloody a horrifying sight it looks demonic almost “I warned you “

“Other y/n if you’re in there hold your breath “Klaus hit the ground hard with all his might causing the water to pour down

“Did you kill her?” dean asks him

“No, just brought us some time. “Klaus hastily said when they finally reach the last door to the book klaus rip open the door and they stand taking in the viewpoint.

The place beamed with magic, it’s like whole another colliding each other colorful and enchanting. Everything seem to floating and book was glowing from its stand on the floating floor. Klaus jump and lands safely dean and cas jump after him Sam glance at her.

You slowly raise your fingers and manipulate her mind to open up the portal to the universe where you float with eyes closed on the sacrificial ground on the throne of wundagore, a chilling smile on your face when you see yourself calmly floating you push them inside.

They land on the floor harshly the four giants who was praying to you move as you open your eyes iris glowing red.

In earth 838 y/n lose her conscious and drop to the floor quickly she regains her conscious, taking rapid breathes her thoughts quickly went to her family

“My boys” looking around she sees she is not in her home and fly to door going back to her boys.

“y/n stop this there still time” Sam pleads you bind them again restricting them from doing anything and walk towards America

That angered you as you lift her off the floor to the table, America pants and look at them “STOP IT” dean yell from the side. As they relentlessly try to break free.

Without giving them a glance, you circle the table and stand at side, behind Americas head “they’ll never know” you murmur

“Maybe not but you will” you falter a movement; the demons start to walk towards the entrance when Wong appears. You left them to deal with them. Wong use a conjured orange sword to fight off the giants, successfully killing them.

As he kills the last one you send a blast to him that he quickly turns and the blast hit the giant send it fall down the mountain.

 While you are fighting with Sam yells at America making her slowly open her eyes “America, you have to stop her”

“Yeah, kid use your power just like you did at the lab” dean encourage.

“But I can’t control it “tears filled her eyes

“Yes, you can “Klaus words surprised her as he was always bitter towards her “you have been all along every time opened a portal, you sent us exactly where we needed to go “

“But your family…everyone died”

“Yeah, but you still can save yourself and us. When you’re gonna kick that witch’s ass “klaus said with a smirk

Dean looks at him with a cheeky grin “didn’t know you had it in you”

America node with determination as she breaks the binds with her power and free them from, they’re binds. Wong grunt as he tries to keep you inside the magic sphere. You break free from the magic and walk towards them seeing they’re free you crash them with your power breaking their bones before you could kill them America jump from the table with a war cry and punch you in the face, causing multiple universe portal to open.

America stunned at her own strength clenches her fists raise her eyebrow at you “huh huh” 

Touch where she hit you smirk at her with a crazed look on your face “Mm mm”

She punches you again, again and again and kick you on the stomach as everyone gather around dean and klaus cheer at that as Sam watch it all anxiously. The last kick had opened portal to hell and Sam and dean cas share look at the familiar place.

You almost fall over before you catch yourself quickly glancing at America with a murderous look before she can punch you, eyes glowing red, you caught her fist in red glow slowly pushing her back America grunts, and Wong stop them from intervening. 

You absorb her power making the portal close “I can’t beat you. “With her other hand clenched “so I’ll give you what you want” she throws the last punch making a portal enraged you grab her by the neck making her kneel.

When you see where she opened the portal you glance at familiar place in panic turning to see your boys sitting on the couch “Charlie, Oliver” the petrified frozen state of your boys made you heart hurts.
