I still think she's got a super pretty aesthetic and I still HC Celeste and Kiyotaka being quite close before the killing game (to the extent I think she would threaten her casual threats if she heard someone insult him: think "only I'm allowed to mock him mercilessly when he loses to me so stfu" big sister vibes because when he's sad he won't play with her and she won't get her milk tea) but she does not reflect the content of a blog which consists mostly of the man she accused of SA and killed vicariously, and his boyfriend, who, if he were alive to see it, would not have been happy with her to say the least.

Still not used to it so it might change again if the feeling doesn't go away but it will most likely not be Celeste again.

I said more than one that i loved Taka as some of the Crazy Diamonds father figure so of COURSE i'm gonna adore him as anyone else dad/parent.

HI i do wanna talk about system Taka but I tend to. not. only bc i'm.... super anxious and scared ppl will get mad at me. i've gone into detail in my one lil post. but to just drop it here.

note i'm quite literally copy n pasting here.

Also! If anything noted here (despite its lack of depth since this is mostly a personal reference thing for my writing to keep track of timelines usually) is inaccurate, please let me know! I try to not only do research but also speak with people I know who are systems, however I'm aware that I could still very well be inaccurate without intent to be so.

System Kiyotaka consists of:

(CW: References to c/a and suicide.)

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - The host, details to be added later/I’m going to assume you know who Kiyotaka is.

Kiyo - Child alter, split when Kiyotaka was a teenager. Trauma holder, very excitable and sweet. Close with everyone in the system, but closest with Kyoya. 

Akira Ishida - Persecutor, split later into elementary (final year, just before sixth grade) when the serious onslaught of violence began, between things with his grandfather getting worse and bullies getting physical to a bloody point. 

Akira is aggressive, distrusting, and has harmed themself/the host body due to maladaptive coping mechanisms. However they do come to trust some people (Takaaki, Kyoko, and Sakura).

Kyoya Ishiru - Internal Self Helper, Caretaker. Very motherly, split when Kiyotaka attempted to take his life and woke up in the hospital. Often takes front when Kiyotaka is overwhelmed but not necessarily in danger. She’s fronted multiple times without notice due to masking well and keeping good track of Kiyotaka’s schedule. Also the reason the system keeps track of what happened when others were out of/not near front.

The huge Hamilton casting list took me about 4 days to make so I'm just gonna do a really simple, really quick list of who I think fits where:

Veronica Sawyer - Sayaka Maizono

I know I keep putting her as the Main Girl in these musicals, but she really is the most equipped for the job. She obviously has good vocals and knows how to lead a crowd, she's the best host!

Jason Dean - Mondo Owada

Y'know I had to make my main Bad Boy THE Main Bad Boy. He would kill all the JD main songs (Freeze your Brain, Our Love is God, Meant to be Yours, ect.) and he would have so much fun doing it!

Heather Chandler (Red) - Junko Enoshima

Obviously. She is THE Bad Bitch who likes to mess with people. She would have so much fun as a sarcastic ghost.

Heather Duke (Green) - Aoi Asahina

I have absolutely no basis for this. I just think it would be fun for her to take over the popular title after Junko-Heather dies. She has so much energy and I think she would be great at being fake condescending.

Heather McNamara (Yellow) - Mukuro Ikusaba

Another obvious pick. She's already pathetic (affectionate) in canon so why would it be any different in musical form? Having Sayaka encourage her not to off herself and to be more confident is an adorable thought.

Kurt Kelly - Leon Kuwata

I think Leon would love to be the 'Smartest of the Football Team' and the greatest FuckBoy in the musical. Plus how could he pass up singing a whole song about Blue Balls?

Ram Sweeney - Chihiro Fujisaki

This is so funny to me. Thinking about Chihiro humping a pig statue and begging Sayaka to sleep with them is so funny. Please re-watch the musical, but every time Ram pops up, imagine Fujisaki and I swear, you will love it.

Martha Dunnstock - Kiyotaka Ishimaru

Martha is bullied literally the entire musical and is naive. This reminds me of Taka. That's it, that's the whole explanation. I can't think of anyone else that would fit here. Maybe Makoto, but I don't know.

Pauline Fleming/Ms. Fleming - Yasuhiro Hagakure

I saw someone else put Hiro as Ms. Fleming and I don't know why, but that makes sense. I think him being an adult or teacher of some sort, especially someone as silly as Ms. Fleming, is the right choice.

There aren't many major characters so it was easier to sort, plus I personally don't take Heathers as seriously as I do Hamilton. I see Hamilton as a Drama with a fleck of humor while I see Heather's as the opposite. A story infused with humor with a fleck of Drama. (I mean there LITERALLY is a whole song about Blue Balls which is so funny to me) Because of that, I don't have to think as hard about categorizing which is so nice.

I have not done this ship yet! Kiyo2 the Kiquel: Even More Kiyo Than Before!

My first thought was of a goth and prep who are both in honor roll but one never shows up to the meetings and the other hunts him down because “They only occur TWICE a year, Korekiyo! Your presence is REQURIED!!!” The thing that works for these two is that they’re both thrive in learning and really devote themselves to their pursuits. I’m sure Taka greatly respects the lengths Korekiyo has gone to learn and document the various cultures and people of the world. After all, Korekiyo wasn’t born as the Ultimate Anthropologist—he isn’t just naturally gifted at what he does—he’s put in a lot of work to get where he’s at right now.

Likewise, Korekiyo would find Taka’s full devotion to making himself better through hard work alone fascinating and, of course, beautiful. Kiyo finds beauty in all things human but all the more so when it’s done to such an almost religious manner. Taka lives, breathes, and eats his belief of hardwork and seldom play. And the irony of that being designated as a talent of which Taka strives to prove wrong (one of the many things he striving to prove wrong) is probably quite the intriguing scenario to watch unfold for Kiyo.

Will they butt heads on occasions when their morals don’t align? Oh yeah of course. I mean one IS a serial killer which is a big “No-No” for the Ultimate Moral Compass. But before all is revealed—would these two get along quite well and have a deep respect for each other? Why, of course to that too.
