Left Behind and Bleeding
Summary: you’ve been feeling forgotten all week when your period shows up you just want to curl up and hide. Will your girlfriends look after you this time?
TW: Angst, periods, being forgotten, anxiety, feeling left out, abandonment issues, self-doubt, mentions of drug use, teasing
Words: 1.2K
A/n: it’s that time of the month when I hit you with another period fic lol. Sorry it’s a bit short. Also … I may be projecting again … maybe hehe.
It had been a bad few days to say the least. To start off you had plans to hang out with Natasha, but she got given a last-minute mission, so you had to postpone. Which would have been fine on its own, but it seemed yo have sparked a pattern.
All week people had been cancelling on you, having some reason or another that seemed valid at the time but looking back made you overthink.
Wanda had some people she needed to visit, and you understood. But everyone seemed to be prioritising other things. Even your mother wasn’t answering your calls. Leading you to believe she was either dead or ignoring you.
On the fourth day of having nobody to hang out with in the usually very busy tower, you were getting fed up.
Your mind had been trying to spin a story that everyone simply didn’t like you. That they would rather hang out with other people and that you really didn’t have anyone in your corner.
Of course, you had been fighting the notion for days now, but it was getting harder to ignore as people continued to have bigger, better things to do without you.
Nat had gotten back from her mission and had immediately gone to do some training and after you caught her watching a movie with Clint. You had moped around your room all afternoon, feeling like you were a B-list avenger at best.
Your mind had convinced you that nobody cared and so you had spent the afternoon crying alone in your room.
When dinner came, it seemed everyone had returned. Something you had not been counting on, so your eyes were still red and puffy when Jarvis announced dinner.
In a panic you threw on some sunglasses in an attempt to keep the others from finding out.
Yet it had simply orchestrated a point of teasing for the whole meal. Everyone wanted to know why you were wearing them, but you kept your head down and tried to seem cheerful.
Sam was trying to convince people that you must have been high, while wanda could practically hear your loud thoughts from the other end of the table. Her and Nat exchanged expressions when you got up from the meal not even halfway through.
Feeling awful you almost cried when you got back to your room to discover your period had started.
Life seemed to be throwing more than a few curveballs at you, it was throwing the full field.
You stuck in a pad and threw on some warm pjs before crawling under the covers and letting a few tears fall while your breathing evened out.
Wanda had finished her dinner around the same time as Natasha had so, they had met up in the kitchen while washing their dishes.
“Wanda?” Nat asked from where she was drying her plate off.
“Yeah?” Wanda asked, her hands covered in suds.
Nat chewed her lip for a second before carefully selecting her words. “Was there … anyone off with Y/n these last few days?” Nat asked.
“I don’t know why?” Wanda said and Nat frowned.
“What do you mean ‘I don’t know’ werent you here?” Nat said.
“No? I told you I was visiting friends for a few days.” Wanda said.
“Oh my god.” Nat said feeling bad. “Did we both ditch her for a week?”
“No? I mean surely, she had the others to hang out with. Right?” Wanda said.
“Jarvis?” Nat called to the ceiling.
“Yes, Ms Romanoff what can I do for you?” The AI responded.
“Who in the past week has cancelled plans with Y/n?” Nat asked.
“In the past week I believe each of the avengers have been either ‘too busy’ or had ‘other plans’ to spend time with Ms L/n.” Jarvis said.
“Oh god.” Wanda said. “Jarvis? What has Y/n been doing this past week?”
“Ms L/n has spent most of her time in her room. Either sleeping or crying. She also has been avoiding everyone for the last half of the week.” Jarvis said and Wanda and Natasha’s hearts broke.
“We are the worst girlfriends ever.” Wanda said feeling awful.
“We should go check on her.” Nat agreed and the two of them headed for the lift.
When they stood outside your bedroom door Natasha hesitated for a second.
“What if she doesn’t want to see us?” Nat asked.
“Im sure she will, it’s Y/n. She may be sad but her hearts still twenty-four carat.” Wanda said and Nat nodded and knocked.
When no response came, she gently opened the door. Making out a Y/n shaped lump in the bed she entered and quietly walked over to your side.
Wanda took note of the chocolate wrappers on your bedside table and the hot water bottle you had cuddled up to.
You had seemingly used your powers to heat up the water-bottle and your brow was creased in pain.
“Nat?” Wanda said and Natasha nodded.
“I see.” She said.
Wanda sighed and slipped into bed behind you. Gently playing with your hair as Nat went to search for some pain medicine for you, knowing that you wouldn’t have taken any yet.
Wanda rubbed slow circles on your back and brushed a hand onto your cheek.
“Y/n baby, can you open your eyes for me my love?” Wanda asked softy. You let out a small whimper and Wanda’s heart melted.
“Wands?” You asked in a small voice.
“Yes, baby its me.” She said pressing a featherlight kiss to your cheekbone.
“Hurts.” You said softly and she nodded.
“Natty’s gone to get you some medicine.” Wanda said just as Natasha walked back in with some pills and a glass of water.
“Here you go my sweet girl.” Nat said as wanda helped sit you up, leaning into her side.
Nat passed you the medicine and you took it without protest, telling both girls just how bad you were really feeling.
“I’m sorry we weren’t here my love.” Nat said brushing a curl from your cheek.
“That’s ok. You had important things to do.” You mumbled into Wanda’s chest where you had buried your face.
“Baby girl, nothings more important than you.” Wanda said stroking your hair.
“Why don’t we put on a movie, and you can try and get some sleep ok?” Nat said gently and you nodded, shuffling over to make room for her on the bed.
Wanda used her magic to open the small mini fridge in the room and floated a pint of your favourite icecream and three spoons over.
“I got this for you before I left my love.” Wanda said with a smile passing you a spoon.
Natasha slipped in beside you and Wanda, passing you the remote you put on an episode of Parks and Recreation as you began to eat some icecream and cuddle.
After a few spoonfuls Nat stole the container, Afterall you have been making a mess. There was even icecream on your nose which wanda softly kissed away, making you giggle as you begun doze in the presence of your two amazing girlfriends.

Whump Prompt #1344
Submitted by Anon - thanks!
Whumpee who's just. So numb. So totally incapable of doing... Anything. They have to be bathed, hand-fed, kept in a soft, quiet room with their caretaker. It's the only way they feel safe.

Whump Snippet Saturday #19
Caretaker has been watching whumpee for quite some time now, having witnessed their body relax more and more around them and the group. It's something small and subtle, but great progress for someone who has been through so much shit.
Accidental touches don't cause them to panic anymore, a well-meant hand placed on their shoulder causes only a soft flinch - and most importantly - some relaxation afterwards. Sometimes caretaker gets the feeling that whumpee seeks the touch, but doesn't know how to communicate it.
Which is why caretaker has been watching them from the sofa for the past few minutes, patting the cushion next to them. "Want to sit down for a moment?", they ask and wait for whumpee to sit down next to them, not as vary as they were months ago.
It takes some awkward silence until whumpee scoots over, inch by inch, gaze averted like they are watching something interesting in the corner of this room. Until their shoulders touch.
Caretaker tries to hide their smile and carefully puts their arm around whumpee, who tenses up a little until they relax more and more. "It's okay, you can stay as long as you want." And whumpee does.

My mind going feral over interactions between Buster and Lex. Not me melting into a puddle at how he is so gentle with her and yet unable to express himself appropriately, so he just hold her and plays with her hair, or makes her food.
He calls her his little Doe.
He helps her with inner turmoil, reminding her how proud her family is of her, even if she's grown up and moving on to her own things.
Takes her fishin', takes her huntin' again after years of being out of it. She's reminded how much she loves the outdoors.
He gives her forehead kisses, and makes her coffee in the morning.

Homesickness
Fandom: Pokémon Legends Arceus
Contains: mention of family/friends/stable life - emotional thoughts - so mostly emotional comfort I guess (?)
Words: 1.936
You were glad for your job. It allowed you to be more outside of the village, just the nature, the Pokémon and you. You had no idea when it starts. Jubilife Village made you…uncomfortable. It is not the villagers, their weird behavior nor the research team or the commander. It was just…the life itself.
Everyday waking up and walking through the streets. Husbands waving goodbye to their wives, children playing with each other. Merchants praising their new goods, some talks between villagers. The sun rising up and down, giving the village a warm atmosphere, just a little image of the upcoming town in the future. It…sicken you.
Every laugh of playing children reminds you of the times with your siblings. Siblings you would never see again.
Every wife yelling at her husband reminds you of the funny little bickering from your parents. Parents you would never see again.
Life back there was also hard like in Hisui. Still, it did not hurt so much being away of your whole existence. You had family. You had friends.  Your life was stable. The atmosphere was stable.
You had nothing here. You are force to work for the research team because many people blamed you for the rages of the nobles. You had to solve problems from people you do not even like. It was only you – without any ways for own decision.
In the nature, you were a bit for yourself. No images reminding you of your past life. In addition, no one who would hear your little cries in the night. Only your Pokémon could snuggle at you for cheering up. You just wanted to be back home. Back in the arms of your friends and family. Back at the place where the people cherish you.
On this night, you were at a base camp in the mire lands. The guard did not pay much attention to you, so you snuggled more into the fur of your Pokémon. You ate not much, so you were a bit hungry. Nevertheless, the camp had nothing left. The campfire spends a little warm just for not freezing. You would do everything to change this into a loving hug from your family, in a warm and comfortable environment. They would prepare a light meal; you would talk and laugh together. However, you were laying on a hard ground; the only comfortable was the fur. Sleep was not an option now while the thoughts of the past haunted you.
It was the best option to leave the camp. You could not sleep and the guard seemed not very attached of your company – he even said nothing when you left. The night was dangerous, a lot of ghost Pokémon were around. However, it was for your mind easier to challenge them than the thoughts. Well, that is what you thought.
At the end, they chased you over the lands, the mud, the grass, the water. To say you look like shit was an understatement. The base camp was too far away, so you had to stick with your current appearance. It was not the first time, so you were okay with it.
“Are you alright?”
A man approached you – you assumed him as a guard. However, his cloths were quite different to the one of the research team. Maybe someone from a clan?
You only nod, not really in a mood of talking. He scanned you what made you a bit uncomfortable.
“You were chased around by the Pokémon?”
You nod again.
“Well, you are lucky they chased you this way. The settlement is not far from here. I will accompany you. Then I can ask someone to help you. You must be tired walking around this late.”
The tiredness in your bones suddenly infected your whole body, so you yawned as a response. Still, you were a bit hesitant. You were not used to such kindness. He seemed to notice this.
“Don’t worry, I mean it. You seemed in a situation for help, so it is natural for us to help. We are all family living here, so we should help each other.”
Slightly touched by the words, you followed the guard to the settlement. The settlement belongs to the diamond-clan. Some tents, a big stone in the middle. Nothing special. However, it felt more welcoming than the village.
A woman approached you, scanning you in your sorry state.
“I found them at the beginning of the way to the settlement. It would be better they rest here for the night,” he said. Then, she turned to you.
“And you are?”
“[Y/N]”
“Ah, it’s you,” she started while you thought how she would know you. You had never saw her. “He has told us about you. So, let me show you around”
Still confused, you followed the woman. She showed you the campfire, the important tents for meetings, the bathhouse and the tents for guests.
“Just wait here, I am looking for some spare cloths you can have for the night. Then, you can bath and give your current into the laundry. I promise it will be clean in the morning.”
You waited outside the bathhouse some minutes after she returned with clothes. It was just a simple plain blue kimono. You could easily use it for the night. With a light thank you, you went into the bathhouse. The hot water smoothed your tired bones. You had no idea where it came from…but you felt the first time in a long time…save and secured. You still could not ask the woman whom she meant with him. You really wanted to thank this person. People did not judge you; they welcomed you like a long-lost sibling.
You went out of the tube, dried yourself and put on the kimono. You went out with your other cloths, and met the woman again.
“There you are” she said and immediately took your cloths. She went with it to the mentioned laundry, and then she turned her attention back to you.
“You must be hungry after this long day. I know it is a bit late for food. However, you cannot go to bed while you are starving.”
Your stomach decided to answer, and you let the woman drag you to the campfire. It felt a bit like an overprotective mother. She handed you some leftovers. Some little rice balls. They had a simple taste, nothing spectacular. Better than anything you got in the village. After the meal, she nearly dragged you into one of the guest tents, waved you a good night. Then, you were alone.
You were bath, dressed; you got a light meal and shelter. Since you arrived in the settlement, you get a treatment as an already established member of a huge family. Warm, welcoming, friendly. It reminds you of old times when you get home late. After yelling, your mother started pampering you like before. It saddens a bit because you knew you would never see her again. Still, it felt nearly the same but was not the same. It felt new to you. A new feeling of…being home.
The bed looked a bit rusty – however, it was one of the most comfortable beds. The tiredness went over you, and soon – you were sound asleep. You dreamed a calm dream. With no fears or sicken thoughts. Warm, protected and loved.
With the first sunlight into your face, you wake up. At first, you were a bit confused where you are – then the occasions from the night replayed in your head. You found your clothes washed in a bag at the door. You took them and changed into them. You exited the tent and scanned the surroundings. It was early in the morning. However, life already started. Some people doing chores, other started preparing breakfast. Children chased around each other. Everyone seemed confident with their living. They waved you a friendly good morning. No stares, no judging.
“Good morning [Y/N]!”
A red-haired woman approached you. From the voice you heard, she should be the one who helped you yesterday.
“Morning…hmm…”
“Oh, did I really forget mention my name? It’s Arezu.”
“Morning Arezu. Thanks for…yesterday” you said a bit hesitant. You were touched by everything. Still confused, too. Maybe almost overwhelmed.
“You are family – so don’t thank. It’s natural!” Moreover, she dragged you to the campfire where some other members preparing breakfast. Everyone waved you, others just yawned a bit. However, still smiling. It was really like a huge family.
“Where is Adaman? I hope he knew breakfast is almost ready” Arezu asked someone while you just sat there. Now with his name, you remembered him. On a strange occasion, you two become friends. He was one of the few in Hisui who were not such jackass to you. Friendly, curious, a bit forward with actions. However, always caring for the people and Pokémon. He also offered you after your first…weird encounter that you were always welcomed at his place. He did not lie about that fact.
Someone just pushed a bowl into your hand. There was already rice in it. So, it would be some stew with…rice? Interesting combination you had to admit. By the time the cooking was ready, the leader appeared. You were occupied in the whole scenario with all the people meeting and just…breakfast that you did not hear how he just sat next to you.
“Ah, there you are” Arezu said, sit on the other side next to you. “I just thought you would skip it because you were nowhere to found.”
You were a bit confused to who she talked to when you followed her glaze. You shrieked a bit by the sitting male next to you.
“Morning [Y/N]! I hope, you slept well”
“Morning…Adaman” you said a bit quiet and shy. “Yeah, I have.” It was way too early for you to hold longer conversations. You still had to process the feelings you got with the others at the settlement. And you did not want to be overwhelmed by them, and causing the people to worry about you.
“I see…not really a morning person?”
You nod. You were glad he just said it like that. You already knew he had a sense of reading people. And it was a touchy topic, he already experienced that with your first meeting. Adaman would surely not forget how you yelled at him.
Then, he only laughed. “Well…there are plenty of benefits to wake up early. Like enjoying the rising sun, smelling the fresh air.”
“And enjoying breakfast together” Arezu adds. “I am glad we managed it today. How funny you showed up in the night, so you can now participate as our guest”
She smiled brightly at you, so as Adaman. You looked around. Some were tired like you, some were as cheerful as the red-head next to you. The children waited a bit impatient at the meal. Some members helped the elders getting a good seat around the campfire. It was all lovely, heart-warming and respectfully. They treated everyone as family – even without blood relation.
“It’s really like…a huge family” you said while watching the mentioned sun-rising. It was indeed a beautiful view. Even when the cold air wasn’t really a thing you would enjoy. You could get used to this view.
“We ARE a family” Adaman stated. “And you are also a part of it. You can come anytime you want to. Your diamond family has always their arms open for you”.
This was the first day where you did not feel homesickness for your world. You felt…home. You finally found a home…and a loving family.

Chibi Dump 3: Even Villains Need Comfort
Tumblr media
Last chibis for today, this time for something a lot more angsty (save for tsundere!Alec. Tsundere!Alec makes me cackle every time). Again, self-explanatory.
Just like the previous dumps inspired me to write a related drabble, this one will get its drabble hopefully very soon. Spoiler: it won't be exactly joyful. But after all, Janus isn't quite the joyful fellow to begin with.
Thanks @samanthahirr for this post's title ♥️

The reader suffers from claustrophobia and some students play pranks on her. They locked her in a closet and she had a panic attack. Weems finds the reader later, when she is no longer in contact.
Safe and Warm
Pairings: Thornhill x Weems x Reader (Platonic)
Word count: 1.4K
Summary: You get bullied and end up somewhere you really don’t want to be. Small spaces always made you scared. But now your locked in.
TW: claustrophobia, small spaces, bullying, crying, panic attack, angst
A/n love the request and I hope you guys like it.
It was safe to say Wednesday wasn’t the only troublemaker in the school. But at least she never hurt anyone with malicious intent. The others weren’t so nice.
It was never a good day when they saw you. A rowdy group of furs who liked to show off and bully some of the younger years. Their so-called pranks would get more and more devious as the full moon grew closer. Unfortunately, you seemed to be their target for the day. You had done your best to stay out of their sight. Brandon was the pack leader and called all then shots and as an empath you sensed their wild emotions before you saw them, but it was already too late. They had seen you.
With the eyes of a hunter, they closed in. You were running late for botany and really didn’t have time for this today but that didn’t stop the slight tremor in your hands. They had you pinned to the storeroom cupboard. Surrounding you on all sides.
“So, thought you could get away huh?” Brandon asked with a jeer.
“No, not at all. I simply have places to be.”
“Hmm, well maybe… seeings you're not going anywhere right now and seem awfully close to that door behind you we can help you destress a bit by giving you some quality alone time.” He sneered.
That didn’t make much sense and you were about to ask what he meant when a strong arm wrapped around your left bicep and pulled you away from the door. Another one of the burly furs opened it, it was one of the cupboards that locked from the outside and seeings you were in a very remote part of the school this wasn’t going to end well.
The next thing you knew you were pushed from behind falling onto your hands and knees rather hard you felt the skin of your knees and palms tear on the jagged stone floor.
Quickly spinning around to try and escape you heard the door close and the laughter fade.
Taking a shaky breath, you tried the door handle already knowing it would be locked. The handle didn’t even twist at all. That confirmed it then, you were going to die alone in a storeroom.
Shuffling to the wall that faced the door you leant against the cool stone and curled your knees to your chest. Silent tears fell down your cheeks as you suppressed sobs. You had always hated small spaces. They left you alone with your thoughts and the stress always made it harder to suppress the feelings of others. You could sense nobody in the hall, your powers drawing a blank on anyone to get a read on. Resting you head on your knees you tried to steady your breathing.
The walls felt tight, and your chest felt tighter. Breathing was difficult and yet you soldiered on. Closing your eyes and imagining a wide-open field you scrubbed the tears from your eyes hoping someone would notice your absence in botany and that they would be quick to find you before the walls squished you be young repair. Rocking back in forwards in the dimly lit room you cried into your knees, tears rolling down your legs and face and dampening the fabric of your collar and skirt.
You hated this. It was cold, small and tight. Your breathing was shuddery and broken by silent sobs. You had no idea how long it had been the panic attack making it hard to judge.
It was getting more difficult to breathe and the rocking was only so soothing. You wrapped your arms around yourself and squeezed hoping the pressure would help ground you. Breathing became a little easier at that but still not good enough.
Larissa Weems has been enjoying her morning coffee when Marilyn had burst into her office. Setting down the steaming takeaway from the weathervane she sighed.
“Marilyn whats the matter?”
“Y/n never showed up to class. She’s not in her dorm. Hasn’t left the grounds and was supposed to meet with me after class. Larissa she’s missing.” The botanists said looking both worried and concerned.
“Well. We best find her then. We should start by letting the other teachers know to keep an eye out for her, before launching a full-scale search we should try and find her ourselves. Do you have any ideas as to where she may be?” Weems asked already sending out an email to her staff.
“All i know is that her friends said they saw her at breakfast, and she said she was heading up to my classroom for an early start.”
“Well, we should retrace her steps. See what we can find.” Weems said standing and placing a comforting hand on the teacher's arm.
The two left the office, Larissa’s coffee cold and forgotten on the desk.
Walking down the maze of halls Larissa had her eyes scanning every little detail, if she hadn’t, she may well have missed it.
“Hmm.” She said pausing in the corridor.
“What?” The botanist asked stopping beside her.
“These old storerooms aren’t supposed to ever be locked.” Weems said and walked over to the door. She froze as she heard soft whimpers coming from inside. Quickly she turned the door handle and opened the door.
Both teachers looked in and down at you curled up on the floor sobbing. As the door opened your tear-stained face looked up and you hurled yourself at the botanist, wrapping your arms around her and sobbing into her neck.
After a second to realise what had happened, she gently patted your back.
“Shh shh its ok Y/n/n. We’re here sweetheart. Your safe. Okay?” She asked and you let out another small whimper, your body still wracked with sobs she could feel your uneven breathing. Gently she peeled you off her and looked into your eyes holding you by your shoulders.
“Love can you take some deep breathes for me. In. Hold. And out. Good. Good.” She said as you drew shuddered and broken breathes. the principal had grabbed your satchel and whispered something to Marilyn who nodded.
“Y/n.” Weems started, and you turned to look at her with big sad eyes. “Do you want to come sit with me and Ms Thornhill in my office for a bit darling?” She asked and you nodded and went back to hugging the botanist.
Ms Thornhill realised you weren’t letting her go anytime soon so she scooped you up as you clung to her. Holding you up, your face buried in her neck and your front pressed to hers as she had an arm under your thighs to hold you up. The two teachers walked back one carrying your satchel and one carrying you.
Once you were back in Larissa’s office Marilyn sat down on the couch and Larissa sat down next to you gently rubbing your back as you were still attached to the teacher.
“Darling, can you tell us what happened? How did you end up in there?” Larissa asked.
You turned your face to look at her and sniffled, launching into a broken explanation you watched the principals anger grow. But it wasn’t at you, it was for you. A few minutes later she was on the phone with the school board wanting a severe punishment for the boys as she refused to tolerate any sort of such harmful conduct among students.
After you had settled some more, you were still in Ms Thornhill’s lap were resting softly. Completely exhausted by all the emotions you had been dealing with as your abilities drained you and you control over your own emotions. Your cheek was pressed into Ms Thornhill’s collarbone as your slow breathing tickled her neck. She felt you relax in her hold and knew you were asleep.
She mouthed something to Larissa who nodded and grabbed a blanket from her own quarters and tucked it around your sleeping form still resting on Marilyn.
“Looks like you're not leave anytime soon. Can i get you anything?” Weems asked with a chuckle.
But you didn’t hear, you were dead to the world, snoring softly into Ms Thornhill’s chest and for the first time in a long time feeling safe and warm.

Whump Snippet Saturday #22
Whumpee's body flinches involuntarily when caretaker comes closer and grabs his injured arm. The older man looks at him with raised brows, but patience in his eyes, and holds up his equipment.
"See? I just want to clean your wound and bandage it. Can I continue?"
Choice. Caretaker gives whumpee a choice and the young man stares at him in disbelief for a few seconds, before swallowing hard and nodding his head.
"Will be done in a minute," caretaker hums and starts cleaning the wound, apologising whenever something makes whumpee tense up even a little.
He never believed he'd see the day someone actually cares for him.
