a lot of what i've read in your antipsych posts is also stuff my therapist straight up said about psych institutions when i was approaching a mental breaking point a few years ago. when it became clear how Bad i was doing, she was like "okay we need to find any interventions to get you to a point where you don't end up in a psych ward, bc even if they're acutely lifesaving, people invariably leave with more trauma than they went in with. they should be avoided." like this is a thing that ppl working in the space know about, even if most won't say it as clearly as she did.
i get the instinctual reaction towards the term antipsych, especially if you're someone who has had to deal with the crunchy tiktok/insta types who will tell you that all psychiatric medication is poison, but the posts in your tag are very clearly not about that. i actually rly appreciate getting to see the arguments for antipsych written out so clearly bc they articulate something i have personally felt for a while, which is that the people i care about who were institutionalized were not actually helped by that, bc the reasons they ended up there were straightforwardly related to external pressures and problems that didn't magically go away while they were in the psych ward.
anyways. i appreciate your existence. pls know that your posts have helped some people learn more. hope you and your excellent dogs have a good day/week/month/year.
that sounds like a good therapist. I also managed to find a therapist who is broadly antipsych and much of the work she does for me is like, physically placing her body and her respectability as a professional between me and institutions that might do me harm. it's really encouraging that more people are starting to approach it that way. I'm glad you found a good one!!! thank you for your message

I miss ur writings sm :(
I am so sorry that I've been gone for so long, I haven't posted any fan fiction in so many months and honestly I lost motivation 😭 so many ppl who were in this fandom and I created a community with, were slowly getting over this "phase" and it definitely affected me. But I'm going to try and get back into writing. I hope this will do good for now! Ive had a lot of ppl recently ask for 2005 bill hcs, and I've done that before so if this is repetitive for something else I've written, sorry!
content warnings: none
a/n: I'll be updating my tag list since it hasn't been updated since like August of last year and I don't want to be tagging people who don't care or want to see these posts anymore. So if you wanna be tagged, let me know!

- I'm an alternative person so whenever I write for bill, I always imagine him with an alternative girl 😞 even though from what I've seen he's never really been w/ an alternative one, BUT LETS PRETEND OKAY 🙏🙏
• he absolutely loves doing hair together, I think he enjoys helping you do your hair in the morning and your make up. And he's even more greatful if you do his makeup. Then he can just relax while you help him.
• pookie has crunchy ass hair at the end of the day when he has to wash it out, don't make fun of him 😞
• getting piercings together is something he LOVES doing with you. Mainly early piercings because he only has a tongue and eyebrow piercing on his face.
• if you made music too, he would always go to your concerts and basically scream the entire time. Hopefully, you'd do the same for him.
• if you have longer nails, head scratches are always a must and he will lay in your lap for literal hours while you pamper him.
- I personally think he would love to learn words in your language if you keep something different than German. And despite what anybody thinks, he finds it hilarious to learn the dirty words.
• if you cook him something from your culture, he will literally die. He basically thinks everything about you is so cool, and learning about a culture different from his is so exciting
• but if you two really want to date, you'll have to both try to learn English or each other language because there is going to be a hard language barrier between you two.
- I think one of the reasons he would've fallen in love with you is because you were upfront with him. He's not the type of guy to just go up and kiss someone so if you confess first, that would make things so much easier.
- obviously, you'd have to get along with Tom, Georg and Gustav. So if you don't, there's no way he'll go out with you, especially if you can't get along or hate Tom.
-Dates together consist of stuff you guys bought somewhere, or if you guys went to a fastfood restaurant.
• He doesn't have a lot of money yet so dates wouldn't exactly be high class, hopefully you don't mind 😉
-Since this is around the time Tokio Hotel is getting increasingly famous, there are fangirls around trying to flirt and ask out bill all the time and he has to shoo them off. He reminds you every night about how much he loves you and that those fan girls shouldn't bother you.
-he likes to spoon you a lot, and you two switch back n forth between him being the big spoon and the small spoon.
• I think he also really likes it when you lay on top of him, with your face in his neck and your legs wrapped around him. (This also works sitting upwards).
• cuddling with him is so nice too because he actually smells really good 😱
- I think he still gets very insecure sometimes because of the haters and people who harass the band because they don't like them and you reassure him a lot.
a/n pt 2: sorry this wasn't too long! I'm trying to get back into the groove of writing so if this is terrible I'm sorry 😞

top 5 ttrpgs for beginners
Sorry that this one took me a bit longer to answer than all the other Top 5 asks :p i wanted to explain a bit of my reasoning behind it and this gave me q chance to ramble a bit about something that bothers me lol
So, first of all I want to talk about what TO ME makes something a good beginner RPG.
Ramble:
I've talked a bit in the past about how I have sort of a bone to pick with the way so many people, when asked for recs for beginner TTRPGs, immediately decide to recommend extremely rules-light/minimalist/one-page RPGs (Hacks of Lasers&Feelings in particular seem to be somewhat popular on this front), when IMO these types of RPGs are at their best when played by an experienced group (or at the very least with least one very experienced player/GM who can provide some guidance to the others). I think a lot of ppl seem to have the impression that simpler mechanics inherently make a game more beginner-friendly, and that thus the most beginner-friendly games are inherently gonna be the ones with the simplest mechanics. And while this is true to an extent (a 700-page RPG with tons of complicated mechanics to remember is obviously gonna be inaccessible to beginners), when you consider that mechanics exist to DELEGATE decisions about the fiction away from the players and the GM so that they don't have to manually arbitrate them every time, there is point where less mechanics are gonna make harder for new players because it means there's more thing they're gonna have to find a way to arbitrate on and decide by themselves, and that's a skill that takes time to develop. An experienced group can probably get a ton of mileage out of a system that essentially ammounts to "the GM describes the world. The players describe what their characters do, and the GM describes how the world reacrs. When the outcome of a player action is uncertain, then [simple resolution mechanic]" but a beginner group is gonna be a little lost. Especially if the game, like many of these types of games, includes practically nothing in terms of GM tools. So I think recommending beginner RPGs solely on the base of how simple they are is well-intentioned but misguided.
(Ramble over)
So, some of what, to me, makes something a good beginner RPG is
Rules provide enough support that the group won't have to constantly be figuring out how to adjudicate stuff on the fly, but they're simple and flexible enough that they're easy to remember and learning them doesn't feel like a daunting task like it does with a certain game (*cough cough* D&D)
Relatively short and uni timidating. Maybe between like 20 and 100 pages. Players should be able to read through the rules and mechanics in one sitting.
Plenty of examples of play, often a good example of play is what makes a game's rules really *click* for a new player.
Relatively quick and painless to start running for the first time. Character creation should be quick and snappy, and if possible a short pre-written adventure (hopefully with some room to be expanded into something larger) should be included within the same book and ready to run out of the box. Even if your group doesn't like using prewritten adventures, having a *good* prewritten adventure can be a huge help in understanding how to write/design them.
Solid set of GM tools and resources (if it's a game with a GM, of course)
Optionally, plenty of compatible material to either use or take inspo from.
So, I think my recs would for beginner games would be...
Mausritter
If any of you have EVER heard me talk about RPGs you knew Mausritter was gonna be here TBH. I've repeatedly talked about it being one of my favorite RPGs and also that I consider it pretty much an ideal introduction to the hobby. I think the woodland critter theme is extremely charming and attractive for people of any age, while the slightly darker elements that rear their head from time to time keep it from feeling too childish.
The mechanics are simple and flexible but still provide enough structure that even a new GM will rarely if ever be at a loss about how to resolve a particular action. They're familiar to anyone who's played a dungeon game while still being extremely streamlined. 3 stats with the main action resolution being roll-under tests, no classes, characters are defined mostly by their inventory, all attacks auto hit and initiative is extremely streamlined, which keeps combat quick and dynamic, etc. And the mechanics are pretty short and esy to digest too, the players' section of the rulebook only takes 18 pages, including stuff like inventory tables and examples of play, and the website features a handy one.page rules summary (which also comes with the box set)
It's super easy to get running: character creation takes a couple minutes at most, and it features both a simple adventure and hexcrawl that can be used right out of the box with plenty of interesting directions to expand for further adventures.
Now, Mausritter takes most of its mechanics from Into The Odd, so a lot of its virtues come to it, but I think the few changes it made DO make mausritter most beginner-friendly, such as its inventory system which makes inventory management into a genuine challenge without having it devolve into a slog of tedious book-keeping, and the incorporation of a streamlined version of GloG's magic system, which manages to still be simple and easy without being as loose and freeform as the magic system from a lot of OSR games of similar complexity (which can be initially daunting to new players)
But what REALLY makes mausritter shine IMO is the extremely solid set of GM tools. In just a few pages mausritter manages to provide simple rules, procedures, generators and advice for running faction play, making an engaging hexcrawl, making adventure sites, and generating stuff like treasure hoards, NPCs, an adventure seeds and overal just a ton of useful stuff that takes a huge load off of the shoulders of any beginner GM.
Cairn
Lets say you're into Mausritter mechanically but your players aren't into the whole woodland creature theme and want to play something more traditional. Cairn is also built on Into The Odd's system, and takes inspiration from some of the same sources, so it's very similar mechanically. It does feature some significant differences regarding magic, character advancement, and how injury and healing work, but overall it's still mostly the same system under the hood, so a lot of what I said makes Mausritter a great introduction to the hobby mechanically still applies here (quick and flavorful character creation, dynamic and streamlined but dangerous combat, etc). It's also a classless system that features msotly inventory-defined characters, but aside from the option to randomly roll your gear, the game also offers the option of picking a gear package in case you wanna emulate a particular fantasy archetype.
Now, Cairn is a much more barebones document, and doesn't even feature examples of play or an explicit GM section with resources for running the game, which breaks with the things I said I look for in a beginner RPG. However, in this case I'm willing to forgive this because, first, Cairn's website features a plethora of first party and third party stuff that isn't featured in the book itself, including examples of play, GM procedures and tools, modular rules, and a wealh of conversions of creature stat blocks and adventures from D&D and other fantasy adventure ttrpgs.
And Second, something different that specifically distinguishes Cairn as a good example of a beginner RPG is how it explicitly outlines its philosophical and design principles, and the principles of play for both the GM and the players before it even shows you any rules, which is something that I think more games and ESPECIALLY begginer games should do. IMO the whole book is worth it just for that little section.
Troika!
Troika is a game built on the Fighting Fantasy system (which originally was less of a TTRPG system and more of an engine for a series of choose-your-own-adventure books) with a really interesting pseudo-victorian space opera weird gonzo setting which is a load of fun. It has very simple 2d6 mechanics, with characters having three stats (Stamina, Skill, and Luck), and being mostly defined by their inventory and the special skills from their background. Character creation is quick and snappy. The game gives you 36 weird and extremely creative character backgrounds, but creating a custom background is as easy as coming up with a concept and the names of a couple special skills that support that concept. It also has a very unique initiative system which might be a little divisive but which I DO find fun an interesting.
While it lacks many of the GM tools I praised Mausritter for, it makes up a little bit for it with an initial adventure that does a wonderful job at naturally introducing the weirdness of the setting, and which at the end presents a ton of opportunities to segway into a variety of urban adventures.
Now, a lot of beginners come into RPGs specifically looking for a D&D-type fantasy game (which is a problem because D&D is a pretty bad option for a beginner RPG) so for those types of players I would recommend
The Black Hack
The Black Hack is probably my favorite game for doing D&D-style fantasy roleplaying. It's a game that at its core uses the original 1974 white box edition of D&D for inspiration, but modernizes, reimagines, and streamlines every aspect of it to be one of the most simple yet elegant D&D-like experiences out there. For example, TBH uses the six stat array that all D&D players know and love, and with the same 3-18 point range, but does away with the attribute score / attribute modifier dichotomy, instead building its entire system around the attribute scores, with all rolls in the game being roll-under tests for a relevant attribute (including initiative, attack/defense rolls, and saving throws). It also innovated some extremely elegant mechanics that went on to be very influential for other games, such as its Usage Die mechanic as a way to streamline keeping track of consumable resources. Basically, it's like if D&D actually played the way it looks in cartoons and stuff: character creation doesn't take 3 hours, every combat encounter doesn't take five hours, and you can place some emphasis on resource management without the game making you want to tear your hair out with boring bookkeeping.
And one of the coolest things about it is the way it handles compatibility. Despite taking loose at best mechanical inspiration from D&D and playing very differently from it, TBH is intentionally designed to be compatible with a wealth of old-school D&D material. While it very clearly stands as its own distinct game, it's designed in such a way that you can prety much grab any creature stat block or adventure module written for any pre-3e version of D&D and use it in The Black Hack with little to no effort in conversion required.
The first edition of the game is a pretty barebones 20-page booklet that just describes the basic game mechanics, since it was assumed you'd probably be using D&D creature stat blocks and adventures with it anyway, but the second edition was significantly expanded with a bestiary, expanded GM procedures and advice, and tool for creating anything you could want: Hexcrawls, towns, dungeons, quests, treasure hoards, NPCs, dungeon rooms, traps, secrets doors, etc. plus a short premade adventure and even a few premade unkeyed dungeon maps that you can take and key yourself if you're in a pinch for a map, which as you all know, I think GM tools are an important part of a beginner game.
The game only includes the 4 basic classes from old-school D&D (fighter, thief, cleric, magic user) but the community has made several supplements adding back more modern classes.
Now, if you're that type of player that wants a D&D-like experience and you want an alternative that's still beginner-friendly but doesn't deviate as much from D&D's design, I would suggest:
either Basic Fantasy, or Old-School Essentials (or any good retroclone of Basic D&D tbh)
BF and OSE differ a bit from each other but at their core they're both attempts to repackage a relatively faithful but slightly modernized version of the 1981 Basic/Expert D&D set, retaining mostly the same mechanics while ditching a few of the aspects that might seem counterintuitive to a modern audience (such as descending AC, which I personally don't mind but I udnerstand why a lot of people find it confusing). I'm recommending these bc I think if you're gonna play any actual D&D product, the B/X set represents D&D at its most beginner-friendly (character creation is at its quickest and simplest, combat flows faster and remain itneresting due to doing side initiative rather than individual initative, the mechanics forsurprise, stealth, and dungeon exploration actions such as looking for traps are streamlined to simple D6 rolls) while still being recognizably D&D and these retroclones put in a bit of an extra effort to make them even more accessible to modern audiences.
Now, just like The Black Hack, these retroclones are limited in their race/class choice to the classic old-school D&D human/halfling/elf/dwarf and fighter/cleric/thief/magic user, but in the case of Basic Fantasy, the community has made several race and class supplements, some of which are showcased on the official website, and in the case of OSE, the OSE: Advanced addon reintroduces many of the modern classes and races that were originally introduced in the Advanced D&D line.
Have in mind that this list is pretty limited by my own tastes and experiences. I'm very aware that the very specific type of game I tend to play and like and experiences inroducing some of my friends to the hobby completely color the scope of what I can recommend as a good beginner RPG, and that that scope is significantly limited. I also like more narrative storygame type stuff, and I don't doubt that some of them would also make a fantastic introduction to the hobby (some PbTA stuff like Ironsworn, Dungeon World and Monster of the Week comes to mind) but my experience with them is not significant enough for me to feel confident in telling which of them are good beginner RPGs.
Also note that there are several games that I consider to be more MECHANICALLY beginner-friendly than the ones I listed here, but that I avoided mentioning specifically because they offer extremely little to no support in terms of GM tools, which I think is an important and often overlooked aspect of beginner-friendliness for any game that includes a GM! But they still might be worth checking out. These include games like DURF, FLEE, OZR, A Dungeon Game, Bastards, Dungeon Reavers, Knave 1e, and Tunnel Goons.

Considering OP is yelling at ppl to leave them alone when questioned on specifics because a post that says “the grooming in spn fandom is insane” (specifically Wincest) was “not a callout” and only “a legitimate safety concern” about “a space is known for well you know”, they are not worth the time. They also reacted very rudely to an anon who only wanted to apologize for following them (thinking that OP was anti Wincest and trying to respect OP’s boundaries). Just not worth it.
[I held onto this in my drafts for a day, but I think I'm just gonna publish it after all. Even though v did a much better job of addressing the op directly, imo, I'm not interacting with the op. I'm also going to gather screenshots in a posterity post, but it will likely be unrebloggable.]
Hmm, I debated publishing this ask, because I'm really just. So tired. And annoyed. And it's not a great combination for tact. Nevertheless...
I haven't seen the yelling myself, just avoidance and redirection. Flippancy. But maybe it's happening in a space I can't see, or between people I've blocked, idk. If so, it sounds a lot like it IS January 2023 redux 🙃🙃🙃 -- I HAVE seen it now, and my suspicion still stands, though still not 100%.
People need to stop making such serious accusations when they refuse to back it up. Words fucking mean things. Saying a certain sector of the fandom--that ostensibly you're also a part of?--has a problem with grooming and is stupid...that was NOT worded in a way to help people stay safe. It was worded like a vague callout post to scare people. We've seen those before. 🙄
A post that was actually concerned about grooming in online spaces *in general* would list some things to be aware of, things to recognize, tips for getting out of a situation. But no, it's this vaguepost without anything specific, with the one question in the notes asking for an explanation or if it's sarcasm-- unanswered [eta: well maybe they responded and I can't see it, since I realized I had op blocked]-- and one reblog from a person who claims it wasn't about wincesties specifically, when it demonstrably WAS??
Tumblr media
So who is doing it, and where/how? I don't necessarily think it's a good idea to make public posts with names that devolve into personal beef and worse, but if someone is making the accusation that there's a grooming problem in the fandom they need to come with receipts or at the very least descriptions of the situation??
Tumblr media
This isn't cutesy. You know exactly what anon is talking about, as shown later. Reblogging the post unaltered gives at least the appearance of agreeing with it as written.
Tumblr media
This isn't to make light of! You reblogged it.
Tumblr media
This isn't helpful.
If there was no one specific, why reblog a post specifically about the wincest fandom having insaneeee grooming? It wasn't "just in general." It's not a joke, yet this reply looks entirely unserious.
I am too old to keep seeing this type of shit go through the fandom at regular intervals, especially when it's so often a false accusation based on interpersonal drama. The only purpose this serves is riling up the dash. It's exhausting, and waters down the gravity of the accusation by making it a phrase that cries wolf.
I'm not even saying outright that the post is a LIE; just that it has seriously similar markers of past drama that was approximately 90% unaddressed purity culture biases about fiction, 9% interpersonal beef, and 1% actual concern for a human being who was an adult, but young. And it led to the utter gutting of fandom, loss of acquaintances, deletion of a glut of fic-- all due to smearing the reputation of a writer by using horrible UNTRUE AND INCENDIARY ACCUSATIONS.
So I'm sure many of you already understand why I take umbrage with these types of posts! Who knows if it's about fiction or something real? 🤷‍♀️
And since there's no further context to be found, the way it LOOKS on the dash is that someone is taking creeper!Dean too seriously. It could be about something else, but who knows.

Random placement result in vedic astrology [basics]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍒 Having strong rahu positioned can make you life better even after other negative placements
Especially Rahu in 6H
🍒 Having Rahu in 1H, it gives hard tym to individual to settle down in work/financially on stable base.
Surely Rahu in 1H ,all alone but, makes the native have RAJ YOG but that too is not permanent.
🍒Venus in 12H gives the luxurious life of millionaire.
The degree of it could tell how high that would be. The higher the degree, higher the dollars $$$$$
🍒 Having a good satrun (Shani) can make one's hard work in labour type of work paid.
They usually like themselves working in labour kinda jobs (not typically labour but even if you have a business you don't sit but do many things on their own) but in very few cases they don't. But their hard work actually pays off that to quickly.
🍒 The hardest dasha is of Rahu😮‍💨 (especially the first and last 6 years of it. But the middle 6 years may also give to alotttttttt {but the last 6 takes all of that back too:)}
Ik by now I've written mostly about Rahu but bro he is the hardest one to deal with. Satrun is a tough one who gives you hard experience in that particular area but it definitely pays back the hard work and after that hard period there is a stagnant steep rise in that area too but that's not the case with Rahu. It may forever give a hard tym to you. It's always said either that dasha never comes on one's lifetime or that it comes and goes in childhood. { He is the kinda king of demons 🙄 how good you expect him to be?}
🍒Most eclipse are malefic, but ketu/rahu conjunction with moon is💀
Someone I know have ketu-moon in 3H
Bro😭😭 I really feel bad for her, her relationship with her mother 💀, her image in school 💀, she can't get settlement in her own motherland but also she doesn't have any dasha to make her to move out of her place💀,her communication is so rude that no one likes to interact with her💀😭 and many more:)
🍒 Rohini nakshatra PPL are sooooooooooooooooooooo pretty like the most beauty defining words are😮‍💨 nothing for them. Especially moon 🌝Lord Krishna also was one of them😭>>>>
🍒Mars in 10H is exalted and make one passionate, ambitious and give big achievement to them in their own fields but if 3H & 5H are empty with that placement:)😮‍💨❤️‍🔥 You are blessed to have that. (Marrying at later age will definitely improve the results of it)

let's talk fic request etiquette!
as someone who has been in the fanfiction game for a hot minute now, i've been having some Thoughts around ask memes for drabblers and fic writers. these ask memes are such a fun and helpful way for writers to exercise their creative chops, and for readers to participate in the creation of the kinds of stuff they like to read. i'm a huge fan of ask memes myself (feel free to send me one!), and i've written a lot of stuff i never would have thought to write without other people's generous prompts in my inbox.
but! i think it can be easy for some expectations to emerge around fic writers and ask memes that can make writing stressful and overwhelming for writers, and that's not great! fic writing should be a source of fun and creativity for writers and readers, and so there are couple things i'd like ppl to keep in mind when they're thinking about asking their favorite writers to fulfill a prompt.
check their blog! a lot of writers have rules or guidelines for the types of requests they'll take and how they'll take them. for example, some writers may close down their askbox after receiving a certain number of asks, while others will happily take as many requests as come their way! writers will also likely have a list of fandoms and/or ships they'll write for, which is good for you to know when it comes to making requests. please do a thorough check of a writer's blog to make sure you're respecting their boundaries before making a request. some writers might have guidelines that fly in the face of some of the other items on this list, and that's okay! these are just general recommendations, and individual writers might feel differently.
make one request at a time. this piece of advice might be directly contradicted by the guidelines on a particular writer's blog, and if a writer says they're down to accept as many prompts in a row from the same person as they can, then great! do that! but it's not uncommon for a writer to be inundated with a lot of requests at once, especially after posting a new ask meme, and so it's considered polite to send one request and then wait for yours to be filled before sending another. remember, you're very likely not the only person who enjoys this particular person's writing, so give them the chance to do their thing.
only send the prompt and the fandom/ship/character(s). the idea behind these fic ask memes is to see what the writer comes up with when only given the prompt and the characters to write about. if you like this writer, you should like what they write! unless the writer says otherwise, please do not send detailed scenarios or plot descriptions of what should happen in the fic you're requesting. if you're reading an ask meme, and one of the prompts on the list makes you think of a specific scene for your favorite ship, wonderful! that should be something you write and explore for yourself. it is not another writer's responsibility to jump through your enumerated hoops when you send them an ask meme request. remember, your prompt is meant to be the jumping off point for the writer's creativity, not an essay assignment in a literature class.
specify the ask meme, especially if it's older. if you're sending in a prompt from an ask meme, and the writer has reblogged a number of them, please help them out and let them know which one you're sending from. this is especially true if you're sending from an ask meme that is not the one they've reblogged most recently. it's just helpful!
reblog the fic you've requested. this one is basic as hell, y'all. if you've requested someone write something, you reblog it and put something nice in the tags. end of story. this was written for you. the very least you can do is be nice about it. and if the prompt was not filled in the way you expected, or if you didn't enjoy the fic, fine! don't request from that writer again. but for this fic, just fucking reblog it. it's quite literally the bare minimum and it costs you nothing.
talk to the writer! if you're not sure what a particular writer's feelings are on ask memes/requests/writing in general, ask! i promise you, we love talking about writing and our favorite blorbos, and it's always better to err on the side of courtesy. feel free to ask us how and when we like to receive requests or what types of requests we're okay with taking. we'd love to tell you how to make our lives easier, lol.
remember that we don't get paid. unlike fanart, fanfiction cannot legally be commissioned or purchased, so even though fanfiction writers put just as much time and work into their art as fan artists do, we do not have the option of any kind of remuneration for it. and that's fine, we get that! but it also means that we are doing a lot of labor (labor of love, but labor nonetheless) for free. please keep that in mind when sending in requests. we're happy to write using your prompts, but it's a prompt, not a detailed commission. our ideas and wants matter, too.
fic writers, feel free to add to this list with your own suggestions. i can only speak for myself when i say i love receiving fic requests from people, because i love writing and i love connecting with others in my fandom and i love exploring these characters in a way i might otherwise not have done. but what i don't love is feeling like i am at the beck and call of others in my fandom. i write for me, and then i like to share what i've written with others. it's how i participate in my community, and i'm so grateful to anyone who has ever sent me a prompt to fulfill. please just remember that your favorite writers don't just exist to bring your personal whims to life, and that they work really hard to create the things you enjoy.

This is gonna be such a turn from your usual sweet asks. I'm deathly scared of being cheated on even though I've never been cheated on before but I've read about and seen the damage it can do. What do you think Dazai would be like if his significant other had the same fear? Because I genuinely always worry about it even though I have absolutely nothing to fear. I can understand my fear is irrational but it's there you know?
I want a partner like Dazai, his personality specifically because I feel like when it comes to personality I've realized I have a type and it's always been an eccentric and goofy pretty boy who can't help himself yet someone who has a depth to them that they'd only show you and they'd understand everything about you without you having to tell them first, they just pay attention to you, observe you.
That's one of the things I love about Dazai, he seems like the type to understand things about you without having to ask. He'd observe his partners fears, their ticks, if they have trauma, he'd know, if they have a fear, he'd pick up on it, if they like ordering the same thing everytime they eat, he'd pay attention to it, if you're more prone to forgetting things, he'd remind you, if you're anxious, he'd instantly tell, I hate those headcanons(not yours obviously because I don't think you've ever written something like this) that are like "if you had anxiety or a panic attack or your period or mood swings, Dazai wouldn't know what to do," because I genuinely think he would.
He's always reassuring, whatever fears you have especially about him, he'd reassure you. I've never seen him as the type to cheat, he seems like he'd probably save anyone the pain of that and just break up(I definitely do believe he needs to work on his unhealthy habits), but I completely believe based on his character (what we know and see in the SHOW) that if he got someone he is in love with completely, he'd never want to hurt them, Dazai is a "all or nothing" lover to me, he'd never half ass his love for you. The second he realizes he loves you, he'll stop flirting with women, he'd just stare at you intensely, I think he'd have a smile, a smile you won't understand at first but in your relationship, you'll soon realize that smile is "I'm looking at the person I love with stars in my eyes and a radiant glow to my smile."
The things he did for Oda, I'm talking Beast Dazai, making an entire change on a cosmic level just for the person he loves to survive and write his book, there's NO WAY this man would cheat nor half ass his love for someone. When he loves he LOVES. Him in love is scary for him but necessary, he literally won't be able to live without you, it seems codependent but I think it would go both ways, it's not in an unhealthy way but in a "I wanna be tied to you by our souls on every plane of existence there is." I'm sorry if this is long btw or too much☹️ I went a little overboard and I hope it's not bothersome 😭.
nonnie im so sorry it took me so long to reply i just wanted to wait until i had the time to properly respond :< !! u weren’t bothersome at all i promise!! <3
i think if u had a fear of cheating, dazai would prob use it as a way to flex his romance skills a little bit. takes it upon himself to show u how good of a boyfriend he can be & how u have absolutely nothing to worry ab !! & u rlly do have absolutely nothing!!! to worry ab, if hes dating u he worships the ground u walk on
i agree w u, dazai is super observant when it comes to his s/o !! i think dazai isnt entirely clueless when it comes to taking care of other ppl, i remember theres this part of one of the light novels where he calmed a little girl down (although i didnt read it myself i heard ab it from one of my mooties :< ) & he even kinda helps kyouka calm down too during her entrance exam. i think he has a softer side for his s/o, his protective instincts prob go into overdrive when it comes to them being hurt / upset & that applies to panic / anxiety attacks too ofc !!
ive seen a lot of ppl think dazai would be a cheater & i just dont agree at all > < i know im biased a little but its not even cus i love him !! i feel like theres no way he’d commit himself to a romantic relationship unless he was rlly in it ykwim? i know hes flirty but i dont think he’d hurt or betray someone he loved like that on purpose
hehe beast dazai is def in a league of his own but i so agree w everything u said nonnie!! he’d be such an affectionate & dedicated boyfriend, absolutely whipped for his s/o <3 <3 !!

Have you read a matter of oaths by Helen Wright? I've seen you talking about lbgt fiction and it's a space opera I stumbled across which is wonderfully written, has a intriguing storyline and which I was not in the slightest expecting to be lbgt. I was even more surprised when I realised it was written in 1988. Think it's had a recent reprint but I'm always surprised more people aren't talking about it, it's got the kind of real life representation people are always saying they want in fan spaces while actually being well written and about the story.
Whereas a lot of lbgt books I find that seem to be more about being an lbgt book rather than I'm gonna write a story and while I'm at it, make it as diverse as the real world. I'm not trying to bash that type of book at all (if that's your thing go for it, you do you.) but I am lbgt and find it frustrating that when looking for good books that happen to be about lbgt people, I can only ever find books where its clear the authors focus is on those characters being lbgt rather than them being characters in their own right who are also lbgt? A lot of books especially those on lbgt booklists feel to me like they are more worried about scoring points and getting the representation in than just telling a story and that's not really what I'm looking for.
This is completely diverging lol but do you or any of your followers have any tips on finding that kind of lbgt fiction? Representation without it being * representation * . I go for most genres tbh, depending on what I'm feeling at the time, but i like things to be telling a story rather than slice of life (ppl always talk about this like its a fanfic thing but it's the best term I can come up for for the kind of 'mid 40s married and having marriage difficulties' that always seem to get lent to me lol. I'm partial to a bit of romance if it isn't too tropey and i like things i read to have a bit of conflict, sickly sweet puts me off a bit. I'm never sure where to go for non literary book recommendations as tumblr spaces and following on from that, booktok, are very focused on young adult esque books which I'm not really in to and sites like goodreads don't go in to enough detail for you to know that person doesn't just have terrible taste (sorry. I don't actually believe bad taste is a thing. Different strokes for different folks and all but please. Goodreads reviewers, you do you, somewhere away from me. Every book recommendation I've had from there has been rancid.) Are there sites/spaces I should be looking in that I just don't know about yet? (I'm thinking if they are they are probably focused on particular genres? That's cool, I can do multiple places.)
I want to be able to find more recommendations for easy to read books that are still well written. I know these books exist because that's 90% of my non fic reading lol but I have to just stumble across them and in doing so rarely get to target my aim at all so I don't find many with non straight characters. I feel like if i work more off recommendations from other lbgt readers i could read more of these kinds of books with characters that are lbgt like me, but I need to find my kind of readers I guess? All the lbgt reading spaces I come across are very young adult aligned/ are running parallel with fanfic spaces which is great, but I read fanfic for fanfic! I want a different flavour from books. The frustrating thing is, I know these books are out there! And I know there are readers like me I just can't find them. The kind of lbgt fiction I'm looking for feels like finding diamonds in silt and I just don't know where to look.
--
It sounds vaguely familiar, but no, I haven't read it. Hilariously, the first thing I found on googling was an obnoxious review by KJ Charles.
"Not too tropey" is the main sticking point here. While people may say they want this or that type of representation, what a lot of fandomy people actually pay money for is tropey romance. I prefer it as a B-plot to a mystery or adventure story, but I'm still looking for it.
I share your experience with goodreads and with everything everywhere being YA City. I don't know of a social space for discussions of queer sff. There are some sites that list books with the specific content tagged. I can never remember the one people always rec to me.
I have not found "lgbt" to be a helpful descriptor for the type of queer genre fiction I'm seeking for myself. The presence of alphabet soup tends to go along with punctilious attempts to include everyone and with books that don't feature the kinds of relationships I like to read about. I'll read tropey f/f on occasion, but I'm usually in the mood for m/m, so I look for things with BL-like labeling, including the predominant niche in originally-in-English indie m/m, "M/M Romance". (It's presenting quite a problem as some of those authors transition to writing mystery-with-romance instead of romance-with-mystery though.)
Can you describe the kind of book you're looking for more? "Good" or even "easy to read" plus "not like fanfic" don't really tell me anything. Does this mean nothing that has been released by an independent author and labeled as "m/m romance"? Does it mean nothing in a coffee shop? Does it mean nothing without a proofreader?
I've run across queer fans of space opera hungry for... something, but I don't know if there's really a huge block who are on the same page about what that something is.
The last queer sf book I read was Earth Fathers are Weird, which is about a guy who signs on to be a surrogate for a tentacle monster due to translation issues. It's pretty fluffy and slight. Most of the stuff I actually care about is mystery or mystery plus sff elements, like The Plumber's Mate series.
I tend to read a lot more in the urban fantasy mystery space, which is also what I write in. I like Knives Out-y golden age detective novel pastiche, so I may not be a great source of recs for you.

Best red hood comics to recommend someone who thinks red hood comics suck? I've seen a lot of ppl who think that way and i actually couldnt think of anything to change their opinion cuz even tho red hood is my favorite fictional character i also think writers have messed him up more than a few times
Sorry for the late reply, completely missed this!
I’d have to go with the Classic Batman Under The Red Hood. I think that best encapsulates Jason as a character and helps the reader understand Red Hood and his morals and how they differ with Bruce’s. It’s also a good read for that person if they enjoy a good hero vs villain type narrative. It’s action packed and an interesting read even if Red Hood isn’t a favourite character of theirs. Especially good if they like the antihero gritty type characters bc this guy does some things that may piss other people off. Blowing up Bludhaven?? Attacking Tim? (not really him but yeah it’s the thought that counts). Anyway unstable characters for the win.
Next I’d suggest Lost Days. Unlike UTRH, Lost days deals with Jason and his relationship with himself in a raw and emotional way, as he recovers and learns about injustice. As well as showing Jason’s complicated relationship and feelings towards Bruce. I found myself empathizing more with Jason in this comic more than in UTRH. I did empathize with him in UTRH as well (especially in The Confrontation), it’s just that in Lost days you can really see the way his death (and recovery) and news of Joker being alive effects him. There is some iffy stuff in this tho that is widely ignored (Talia was written terribly).
Stay away from RHATO if they already think Red Hood comics suck because the characterisations here weren’t very good.
Oh also Not a comic but might be worth showing them Jason centered Wfa on Webtoon. It’s a stretch but Jason is so soft in it and even tho it’s ooc I think it’s fun and enjoyable. Plus he’s a cutie in it
I definitely agree, writers don’t do Jason any justice! Especially when it comes to his morals and views of the justice system and when it comes to him and Bruce. Yeah they massacre this boy with shitty writing. Ultimately tho I’d have to say I really enjoyed UTRH and would recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about Jason.
Thanks for the ask! :)

I am not at all qualified to make this post so obviously I will be making it. Basically I've noticed something with how men vs women and queer ppl consume shonen manga.
When I'm on tumblr and ao3 I mostly see women and queer ppl post about manga but on tiktok I see mostly (straight) men. And I see a lot of difference between what they usually want for characters (especially strong ones)
I'm gonna focus on jujutsu kaisen cuz it was this manga that made it finally click in my head. What ppl want for characters and the story is usually directly tied to their identity especially gender identity and ofc the patriarchy.
I'll start with the example that gave me this lightbulb moment: on twitter and tumblr (where I curate my feed btw which makes a huge difference since i follow mainly non-men) I see ppl wanting gojo to essentially have an emotional breakdown or go thru some type of pain and go berserk out of the emotional heartbreaking pain of losing his loved ones or being forced to kill them.
Then on tiktok (where I look thru my fyp so I don't really curate my feed so any manga type videos come up and they're mixed with videos of men) I see alot about who would win in a fight between sukuna and gojo. About who would "dog walk" the other. A LOT about fighting and violence and killing. (In my head I'm thinking why the solution is always straight to killing the other person? Idk writers can get creative with endings that don't contain just straight up killing characters)
This got me thinking: why are ppl so obsessed with the fight and the violence? Then I'm like: well it's a shonen that's the genre. But then that would mean almost everyone who consumes shonen would have similar thoughts. But like I pointed out in the example, that's not the case. Why do the men focus so much on the violence and the women and queers focus on the drama and emotion? The character and their relationships?
Then it hit me: it's about PROJECTION. About living vicariously thru these characters. Men project themselves on these powerful characters and live out their fantasies of being strong, powerful, violent with no one who can get in their way or beat them. It's why they get so offended when ppl bring up other characters that can or can't beat the character they have projected onto.
Women and queer ppl focus on the emotion because we project ourselves and live our fantasies: to essentially breakdown (think female rage?) Essentially in our lives we are often the ones who do the emotional heavy lifting. Ones who are taught to keep quiet or be the bigger person or look the other way. Our emotions are used against us. But when we project ourselves to characters like gojo who has a ton on his shoulders, who has to do everything, we want him to breakdown and cry and rage cuz WE can't do that. It's our way of releasing our need to breakdown and rage, by living vicariously thru him. Often times after this breakdown we want another character to comfort them. For them to be the one to take care of things for once so our character (us) can take a break.
And I notice we project onto male characters and I think there's 3 reasons for this. Male characters are usually better written cuz they are at the focus of shonen so there's more of them we can attach ourselves to. 2nd reason is cuz they're male and it feels like they're "allowed" to emote without having backlash (tho that's not really the case usually. Like if gojo had a breakdown he wouldn't have been seen as weak or ridiculed but if someone else, usually a girl or a male written more softly like modoriya from mha, they would be ridiculed cuz thats "weak". All this would me coming from the men in the fandom too cuz they can't project onto a "weak" character) 3rd reason is cuz we can take a character that men would make into this "alpha man strong" and turn him human. Have him be realistic and have emotions, something we rarely see in real life cuz u know the patriarchy and men can't be emotional unless it's anger etc.
But anyways so that's what I have noticed and being a woman in fandom is a different experience. Usually a good one cuz fandom was created by women and we are the biggest fan content creators when it comes to Fanfic and fanart. Even some of the best analysis I've seen come from non-men. And I'm often on platforms where majority are women and queer and I curate my experience so when I get to places like tiktok or YouTube comments it's like my little bubble popping and I'm reminded of the different ppl in fandom. There are men on our sides of fandom with thinning more aligned to what I have described as what women usually think! But for this post I'm talking majority.
Anyways idk if this made sense but I wanna know what others think, I'm very interested and curious about this topic

Hmm I definitely agree with most of your rant regarding neils ao3 characterization, with the idea that gay relationships can't be written as heteronormative, honestly especially if one of them is gender nonconforming, and I do think some of the dislike around his character can be from a place of transmisogyny. And people who ask for more masc4masc and fem4fem couples are a bit dumb. But I still have a bone to pick with his characterization on ao3 and I can't put my finger on whyyyy
Maybe, it's because (and I'm speaking about the state of the fandom back around 3??or 4?? Years ago when I would actively go through the tags and look for fanfiction and neil was my fave) it was always neil bottoming in every fic ever, no matter what character he was being shipped with in the fic, but like a lot of these fics or even the ones that weren't explicit would have something happen to him where he was the victim or he needed to be coddled and comforted by everyone else, and while I don't think neil is impervious and will never feel and inch of distress in his life, i can't help but think it's a bit ooc (not that there's anything wrong with ooc fic) and it's like neil can also be dangerous and has the capacity to hurt ppl and can be a dickhead but I don't think alot of fic back then showed that? They'd just call him sassy maybe he'd make a few quips and that's it. I think theres a lot of fics out there that wipe out his complexity ig. Maybe I just hate his characterization bc I wanna be a contrarion and I find his characterization boring if it's like that because you can find it in any fandom assigned bottom ever and ive seen it too much so i wanted to see a switch up or its more about his personality being written and less about being feminine and bottoming though i do think the ppl who write him being more feminine also tend to write his character a certain way. But like I also cant help but wonder where it comes from, like it's neil written like this and rarely ever andrew so
Back when I was younger I used to think people in fandoms would make the character who revieves the more feminine one, maybe it's bc it makes it easier to relate and project, or maybe it's bc it makes it easier to contend with a gay relationship if you can fit into like heteronormative boxes bc that's what's familiar to you and that's what you know and see everywhere, or maybe it is just people being fetishistic but now I don't know🤔 also I do think top neil or dom neil is just kinda fun like you said to me kandrew r more the type to have vanilla missionary sex their whole lives but neil would be more adventurous and willing to try new things, he also has cheek and audacity which is cute, like a puppy
Sorry this is so long, I've just thought about it before and has no one to discuss it with
no need to apologize i asked for opinions after all!!!!!!!
i see what you mean re: neil losing his edge, and i do think that it happens a lot with him because he is the protagonist and a prominent character in the vast majority of aftg fics, but i wouldn't say the same de-fanging process doesn't happen to andrew. the fandom has made it a point to soften all of andrew's edges; it's one of the most common bones people pick with nora that she never gives into the idea that andrew becomes a normal, well-adjusted, life-loving member of society post-canon. whether i enjoy andrew in a softer way or not is irrelevant, but i think this is definitely not a neil-only phenomena. i wouldn't even say it's really more pronounced when it's neil! i just think that helplessness, that lack of agency and bite, is a staple of most fandom content because it's self-indulgent and forces characters to act on their relationships by asking for and receiving help from their peers, whatever it might look like for each specific fandom
now i will say that i don't think that the process of making characters wholesome and ultimately consumable has anything to do with whether they are written as feminine or not; whether they are only in a receiving position or not. sexual preferences and gender presentations are inherently neutral: they don't say anything about a person's personality. i think neil bottoming being such a popular trope is just due to a natural consequence of how andrew and neil's relationship is presented in the books — andrew as someone who, at the point of where canon stops, physically cannot allow himself to be on the receiving end of any sexual act, and neil, who loves him and wants to help andrew to find pleasure in whatever way he can. it's the dynamic we're given in the original text, so it's what people tend to think about more.
of course i'm not saying it never overlaps with neil's excessive sanitizing and de-fanging, and it might as well be, for some people, that neil's acquiescence to andrew having control of what they do in bed is an entirely justifiable reason for writing him in a more feminine way. my opinion is, i think, just that that is not inherently immoral — that feminine people with those sexual preferences exist, and at times might even find that their gender presentation plays a big role in why they prefer to interact with sex the way they do. the history of femme pillow princesses in the lesbian community is vast, just as is the history of stone top butches. these minor niches don't imply that all feminine and masculine people must respectively bottom and top, but we do no one a favor by disregarding their experiences when they are a big part of how queer people do sex. i think we fall into old conservative myths when we moralize sexual preferences; i think we try to conform to cisheteronormative ideals when we deny gender presentations that are inherently tied to sex.
and just as a personal comment, i actually agree with you about neil being written as a perpetual, helpless victim and losing his agency. i don't enjoy it. i think it is born from indulgence, born from projection and wish fulfilment, but indulgence isn't immoral. projection and wish fulfilment aren't immoral, either. and, while i don't like the sanitization of aftg characters, i think it is less a character or fandom-specific issue and more of a material consequence of late stage capitalism; it's a symptom of a sickness that goes beyond our little constructed world, and one we should discuss, in my opinion, outside of the boundaries of fandom and individual guilt
i guess my tl;dr is that sometimes things are bad and we have to sit with their right to exist anyway. and my general tl;dr is that we help no one when we go out of our ways to condemn and criticize content where one of the characters is gender non-conforming because of said gender nonconformity. and, ultimately, that what we are missing is more fanfiction about kevin day in tiny tennis skirts

i also wrote a fallen angel / risen demon bktd au that i had quite a fun time with from a worldbuilding perspective - closer to heaven than you'll ever know (x)
i also continued my (very slow) progress of making country music gay by writing and p.s. if this is kaeya... (x). perhaps i'll add another fic to that short list next year lmao
and!! i finally finished the time that we spent in arms and in longing series (x) inspired by my very first ever chaeya fic many moons ago, which remains one of my fave fics to this day
oh and speaking of series, i also concluded my chiluc sparks of hope built in the dark series (x) that started with the aphrodisiac'd diluc some time last year
and in other firsts, i finally did smth i had been meaning to do for ages - writing zhongkae! fleeting heart and home (please, let me be kind) (x) with any luck, i'll have inspiration to write them more next year too
and finally, in the world of bnha firsts, i wrote and posted some bakushin for the first time! speakeasy (x), where i got to play with the particularly interesting dynamic of "you should be addicted to shutting the fuck up" / "you wanna fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid" 😌
and obviously there were many many more, i've only barely listed half of them here, but thank u to everyone who read and enjoyed these stories with me this year!! here's to many more to come 💜

Hello! question for southpark fans and non-fans !!
hope this makes sense, english is my second language and i'm very tired
•feel free to comment, please be respectful especially if you're not in any of the affected groups mentioned!!!
is southpark genuinely problematic*? can you watch and criticize it at the same time?
*is it actually problematic? i will be speaking on things i can talk about as a trans lesbian!
I do think southpark has a problem with trans and lesbian rep, whilst i am very happy for what they've done with Tweek (literally one of the best reps i've ever seen), also the bi rep is quite nice , they still lack in the trans and lesbian rep. , and like they got better with gay rep i hope they do the same with trans and lesbian rep ( i acknowledge SP makes fun of everyone, but it usually ends with a punchline along the lines of the bigoted party being in the wrong very obviously, but then there's video like "go, strong women, go!" where it depicts just plain transphobia with no punchline in it, and in the comments its filled with brim with transphobes and transmeds, also the overly feminine gay characters and overly masculine lesbian characters...)
I won't be speaking on the "racism and antisemetism", because i'm not of neither groups, but i saw some comments and analysis about how some episodes actually HELPED with getting rid off antisemetism and racism! (i can link the analysis etc. if someone asks me for it!) , most of episodes actually make fun of antisemites and racist, but for some reason a lot of racist teenagers (sometimes adults too...) think that this show is actually supporting them?
can we really get away from any type of problematic media?? i mean even fck!ng sanrio and MLP had racism in it, some ppl who hate on southpark watch DSMP or worse sh!t😭
i feel really bad for liking southpark, i certainly do not like that it was written by two cishet white dudes, but i also think a lot of people didnt properly watch any episodes and don't understand what the show is actually trying to say. i feel bad for watching it and liking it, and i dont know what to do about it. i got very hyperfixated and there's two groups of people, either one hating on it saying Its extremly problematic or the other one saying that Its the purpose of the show..

Robin for the ask game!
ooo, one of my faves, yay!!
1. What do you like the most about them? this one is tough because there's so much i like about robin. i love how witty she is, but her snarkiness is balanced out by her moments of being earnestly tender and caring for her friends. i think her gay little salute is one of my favorite quirks she has, idk, i just love it
2. What's their sexuality? lesbian, obviously. honestly, seeing her coming out scene meant so much to me. that she could be such an interesting, well written character who was loved and also be a lesbian meant a lot to me.
3. Otp ship: Ronance. I feel like robin and nancy just *fit* well together. i've seen post after post about how robin is everything jonathan and steve haven't been for nancy and i LOVE those posts, i go feral for them. however, i feel like nancy is really good for robin, too. she doesn't get put off by robin's "hyperness" the way other characters (even steve) have been and i think nancy is one of the few people in hawkins that robin could have a serious connection with. they're both so intelligent and caring and i really do think the two of them would make an excellent couple. also their chemistry together is off the fucking charts
4. Notp ship: any time she's shipped with a man. i don't get why people insist on doing that. also, it's not necessarily a notp for me, but i don't really get rockie. vickie would need to be really fleshed out well and not just a copy of robin in season five for me to be truly happy with them ending up together
5. Favourite friendship: Steve Harrington :) stobin is so special to me in a way i cannot quite describe. i love their energy and the way they play off one another. they remind me a lot of my relationship with my best friend or with my brother. idk, i just think they're neat.
6. Would you date them? yeah. robin has a certain kind of charm and also seems like the type of person i could have a conversation with, you feel? like, we could spend time together and it would still be enjoyable and interesting. (i answered these out of order, but question 13 goes more into this, too)
7. If you were them for a day what would you do? hopefully not be fighting monsters lol. i think if i were robin for a day, i'd probably want to hang out with steve. i know her characterization tends to be overshadowed by her relationship with steve (ppl like to boil her down to steve's best friend and leave it at that), which i hate, but i genuinely do love the dynamic steve and robin have. i love seeing strong, supportive platonic relationships that are the, like, anchor for both characters. it's very special to me.
8. If you could change something about them what would it be? i would give her more screen time. that's honestly it. i think robin is played very well in the show, i love the way she's written. the only thing i'd change would to have her be in the show even more.
9. How do you think they smell like? i feel like robin smells warm, if that makes sense? maybe smokey, whiskey, that type of thing? or old paper. idk, i haven't really thought about it lol
10. If you had the chance to ask them only one question what would it be? i would ask robin what she thinks about life, like, in general. i feel like she would have some really good wisdom to give.
11. Do you think you have something in common with them? other than being gay? she seems like a big reader. one of her biggest supporters in hs was her english teacher (i was lucky to have a pretty big system of friends, but i did spend a lot of lunches with my favorite teacher). my go to when i'm getting to know people is to be either really awkward or sarcastic and snarky.
12. Do you ever wanted to slap them? Why? when she was suggesting steve and nancy get back together. girl, that is not a good option for anyone. i feel like robin being the one to initiate that conversation was really weird. especially since (in my personal opinion) you shouldn't be pushing your bestie to get back with his ex. there's a reason they broke up, even if they've both changed, that doesn't mean they're suddenly right for each other.
13. What would you do if they kiss you? what if i plead the fifth on this one?? i would definitely kiss her back. the reason i started watching stranger things was because my mom said (pretty much word for word) "there's a gay character that comes in about half way through and she is exactly your type. she's smart and witty and just matches your vibe exactly. you're going to be obsessed." and my mom was SO RIGHT, big shout out to her for looking out for me lol
again, thank you so much for the ask, i love talking abt my blorbos :)

Hey there. I was wondering if I can have a BoB ship, please? :)
I have pale skin, short brown hair and green eyes. Average height, I'm a bit of skinny rn but I lift cuz I want to be stroncc and protecc. I was raised in a town in mountains, so I can stand any cold but i'm dying when it's even a little hot. I collect knives and adore military stuff (probably it's the reason I'm in love with this show lol). I really love to comfort and take care of people. If someone wants to cry on my shoulder, I see this as the top of the trust I've earned. I know a couple of languages and fond of learning them. I'm a writer and a smoker(this things are connected..). I'm humble of my achievements and always think that it's not enough and I should be better. I'm open to people, not minding to tell about myself if someone asks. But I tend to be cold and disappear from time to time, cuz I need a lot of time to be alone with my thoughts. I really love to see how people become awkward from compliments, praise and stuff, so I give 'em regulary :D. Tho, I do it wisely and study a person for a while to shoot words that will 100% reach their hearts. I'm trying to be stoic and confident, but sometimes this image cracks(mood swings my beloved), and when it does, I isolate myself for a time being, because I don't want to show my drama queen side. I'm all quiet and uncomfortable with new people, but if they have patience with me, I warm up to them quickly. I had a lonely childhood and teenage years, so I might be kinda cringy cuz I've no idea how normal ppl talk. Despite all of this, I receive a lot of comments that I can be a great leader and I sense that it's true. I don't really like kids, but I adore animals, felines especially. I like thoughtful people with whom you could just sit in silence and admire stars/nature/etc or talk for hours about universe, human nature or interesting things we have recently learned.
yea. I hope this sheet of text isn't too long, heh. Oh and thank you for everything! You're doing lord's work for this fandom. I appreciate all the stuff you've written and like to reread it, because it makes me a little happier. The way you write about each character is immaculate. May your inspiration never end!
I Ship You With...
Joe Toye!
Notes: Thank you so much for the kind words! <3 I felt safe just by reading your request 😂💕 Btw, I chose the person who has the personality closest to yours but honestly I think it would be cute to see you with someone who has a opposite personality, but anyway…
I think it's time for you to let be taken care of by a tough boy, you can't be the only though one in town, alright?!?
Do I have to say that you’re a badass? I think you know it but, yes you fucking are!
He obviously fell in love for how resilient, strong, caring and confident you are.
This man could take a grenade for you but he knows he wouldn't need to because you can take 3.
Both of you are very stoic, and both don’t like to show your soft side.
But I think you could bring his by praising him; he gets all flustered and awkward and he hates it but you have a lot of fun.
The moment he saw your knives he was just: “Holy shit…”; his jaw just dropped and his admiration for you just got higher.
You were the first person Toye finally felt comfortable sharing his feelings with, because he knew you would understand and of course because you would take care of him.
He is a big and tough boy but he likes snuggles, he just doesn't want to admit it.
You know, Joe finds it amazing that you are a writer and admires you deeply for that; he came from a big and poor family, he never knew how to speak formally, write beautifully and all that stuff and he just finds your skills something that he wishes he could have.
You’re his favorite writer and you are always more than enough and more, he just wishes he could see yourself the way he does.
When you need to be alone he understands, he is not the type of guy who annoys the shit out of you just for attention or to be talking to you 24/7. No. When you need to disappear to have your alone time, he lets you have your time, because before being your boyfriend he was also your friend.
He loves your drama queen side, he really does. He loves when you get to show your sensitive side. He wants to take care of you too, that’s all.
Okay, Toye doesn't hate kids but he still loves animals more than kids for sure.
He’s a dog person but if guys get a cat he instantly becomes a cat dad.
I can totally see him holding a small kitten like It’s his baby.
He doesn't admit it but he loves the cat.
Making a picnic or camping is definitely one of Toye's favorite dates.
He gets to have more intimate time with you, sometimes just likes to lay down by your side watching the stars in silence.
I hope you like it <3
