How many times do we have to do this, y'all?

It's not just pixels. It's not just "separate the art from the artist". In a fandom with a lot of youngsters in it, as well as many people that come and stay for the good vibes, incest is not okay.

Incest should make you uncomfortable, no matter which set of siblings it is. I don't care if it's the Bros, the Koopalings, either set of Pines twins, any of the Ninja Turtles, or whoever else you can think of. If you're defending it, take a step back and ask yourself why you're cool with it, because you really shouldn't be.

And for those saying to just block and move on, or even going so far as to tell people legitimately triggered by this sort of thing that it's on them...well, my man up there says it best. (WARNING: I show the evidence for the sake of the meme.)

Till and Mizi were a doomed narrative...

...and I don't mean 'oh they could never be together'. I mean that it was doomed to be failed friendship from the start because both were shit at communication.

Till always had issues talking to other people, we know this. He is specified to be a genius loner who likes to keep to himself. Most of the time, another person had to initiate the conversation for Till to talk. Even then, it was short and limited.

He was always flustered around Mizi as well, and he couldn't verbalize his feelings for her in their true form. He was eventually able to write a song that encapsulated those emotions, that was a long time after. He seems to be mostly limited when it comes to his words outside of music, which means he sucks at communicating any of his feelings.

Meanwhile, Mizi went through a traumatic event that influenced the way he viewed the unrequited love people had for her. Specifically that from men. She could never communcate these thing, except specify time and again that she was in love with Sua. However, she would never outright confront those feelings because she was scared she would get hurt by someone she thought of as a friends again.

Till and Mizi could never have been as good friends as they couldve been if they had just had better childhoods. Better experiences. Better communication skills.

But ironically enough, this same factor seems to play into how Mizi trusts Till a bit more than she would the other boys who liked her. Because she asked him outright why he liked her, right after specifying she only loved Sua. She gets an answer that seems shallow, which breaks her a bit again. But she still seemed to trust Till to give her an answer and not push her.

Maybe this could have also been because Till was meek around Mizi, and didn't see. capable of hurting her. But I do believe that Mizi cared about Till enough that she didn't fully categorise him with the other guys who liked her. He was on a blurred boundary of that circle, not truly in but neither truly out.

Till loved Mizi and Mizi was aware of this. Mizi was also under the belief that the only reason Till liked her was because she was pretty. Despite this, she still went out of her way to try and be friends with him constantly.

Maybe Mizi still had that vague fear that Till would treat her the same as the boy from the comic did. But I also thing she was aware to some extent that Till wouldn't actually do that. She had a fear that influenced her actions, her personality and even her view of people.

This is all a theory and assumption though. There doesn't seem to be any definitive proof. But I do like the idea that Ivan, Till, Mizi and Sua had a bond with each that was unique to them. And that maybe if things were different, they all couldve been actual friends who were more honest.

You know what? I was just gonna leave a comment, but I've been so fucking pissed off today that I need to shout to anyone else besides @peaches2217 that needs to hear this.

You. Right there. You put in so much work to get to this point, and despite having way more to do, you're facing it head-on. You've fought off the bad thoughts, the toxic people, and found some cool peeps that validate you and your struggles. You're becoming your best self, and the people that matter don't mind at all. They support you and love you.

Your family, I'm afraid, are not part of that number.

It happens sometimes, and it sucks, but the sooner you realize that blood isn't end-all be-all, the better your life will be. Maybe you've been thinking about it for a while, but you can't just axe your family. Right?

They don't want the actual you. They want an idealized, storybook version that makes them comfortable and keeps up their personal narrative. That is not the sort of life anyone deserves, to put on a mask around people that are supposed to be comforting. It's just not.

I'm not even going to equate my struggles to yours or anyone else's. Just know that as someone who's had to fit the narrative before, it's draining and depressing and stunts your growth in so many fucking ways. You're not selfish for wanting to be yourself. They're selfish for getting in the way of that.

But if I can get set up with a payment plan, I should still be okay? I should be able to get around $3-500 saved up by the time of my consult and see if that can get me anything as far as down payments go. If not, I could schedule a second consult? Fuck. thinking about the character again (cinderpelt) and it's likely unintentional and a result of either her shifting narrative role from young go getter to wise mentor or a shift in how the books display their own politics but i find something really tragic in-universe in how she develops from a character who will actively and willingly break the warrior code when it conflicts with her own morals (immediately lying to cover for graystripe and silverstream, acting in direct defiance of her leadership to nurse littlecloud and whitethroat back to health) but overtime through her role she gradually grows more god-fearing and pious and embodies somewhat of a "starclan is always right, even when they are cruel, and we need to accept that" position

I have to ask this of Jelly's steadfast friends: what benefit is there to sticking up for her? What advantage is there to negating the victim's experience because "Jelly was a victim of trauma and it went on longer than this" and "OP waited six years"?

If you all have actually known her for that long, then why are you all acting like this is so out of the blue? Shouldn't Jelly have disclosed this to you if she's being oh-so-honest? Or is it that you found out, but like Jelly, didn't see it as a big deal? That grooming a minor, using them as an emotional crutch, making them draw and fetch porn, and seeking them out time and time again—that's all okay with you lot?

Hello Anon 🖤 Thanks for the ask, I actually had fun typing all of this up and doing research. Spoiler alert: I am now sus of every and any song that George Lever and Carl Bown have produced that contain synth/keys 😅

Also, side note, listening to all of these songs while fact checking really cemented how unique Vessel is as a pianist. It’s like he’s playing in his own language, if that makes sense? It’s truly beautiful.

For Bullet For My Valentine, Vessel did the Piano Versions on the deluxe Gravity album: Breathe Under Water, The Very Last Time, and Under Again. I’ve heard a couple of times that he also did synths for the standard version of the album, but there’s no absolute confirmation of it, since he was only initially credited in the three songs I mentioned. He did have the credits changed to Vessel1 before they were removed altogether from the songs. The album Gravity was supposedly recorded between 2016/2017, so around the same time that the One and Two EPs dropped. I’m not 100% positive how he got that gig, but that is supposedly how he met Carl Bown (the producer for Take Me Back to Eden). It could also be the other way around, and Carl and Vessel already knew each other and he brought Vessel in to do the piano versions.

He is credited as a composer (ie he played piano) for Holding Absence’s song Purge. Their self-titled album was recorded in 2018, so around the time Sleep Token released the singles Jaws and The Way That You Were. Fun fact about this collab: the band most likely met Ves through George Lever, since he produced Holding Absence’s album, and that’s how the Loathe/Holding Absence/Sleep Token tour came about.

In 2019, he collaborated with The Hell on their song Jump the Fuck Up. This one I have the least information on, since the band is also anonymous and seems to have revolving members. The only credits on the song are the band name and the composer/lyricist Stephen Sears. I haven’t done too much digging, but I would not be surprised if the band had ties to George, Carl, or even both producers.

In summer 2020, during lockdown, he did a piano cover of Type O Negative’s Love You To Death with the vocalist of Forlorn, Megan Jenkins. Her band has previously worked with George Lever. I do have to warn anyone who looks up this song on YouTube, since you’ll see him in the music video that was filmed (hands, arms, chin, hair/hair color, back). He was uncredited, but the mv is proof of his involvement.

The band Malevolence stated in a podcast interview that he played keys on the acoustic version of Higher Place, but was not credited (at least one band member didn’t even realize this). The song was produced by Carl Bown, and since the album/song was released in 2022, I’m assuming it was recorded sometime in 2021, so between recording TPWBYT and TMBTE.

Laois protecting Marcille from the falling icicles is just the EXACT reason her and Chilchuck stayed despite everything (besides Falin for Marcille of course). Despite the two of them not understanding him, despite them being put off by his mannerisms at times, despite their varying levels of discomfort around monster food they KNOW at the end of the day Laois has their backs.

He will do everything in his power to keep his party safe with zero hesitation or convincing and he does so because he genuinely cares about them. He might not know how to time a Morale Boosting Speech for when people *dont* have a mouth full of food, but they know he'll be there for them when they need him the most.
