BossMan Dlow and GloRilla Partner Up For "Finesse (Remix)"; Dlow Announces Nationwide Tour

BossMan Dlow is scorching a path through the rap game that resembles his triple-digit swerves in his favorite sports cars. Teaming up with GloRilla to teach the finer points of getting every last dollar, the Port Salerno, FL native shares "Finesse (Remix)." A fan favorite track from his late 2023 mixtape 2 Slippery, "Finesse" has picked up steam in recent weeks, racking up 22 million+ total streams since December and over 8 million YouTube views since its February video release. The new remix of the song adds a verse from Big Glo, currently tearing up the charts in her own right with her song "Yeah Glo!," who mimics Dlow's slippery flow before applying her own thunderous patter. S/n e hee Donghyunk são nomes conhecidos pelos alunos da Universidade Neo. Os dois são os alunos em destaque do curso de dança, sendo constantemente vistos com suas roupas de ensaio (que por algum acaso ninguém entende como tais peças horríveis parecem incríveis em vocês), fones nos ouvidos, e bolsas repletas de remédios em diversas Formas.

Vocês entraram na Universidade no mesmo ano, porém no começo do curso nunca se cruzaram, foi apenas no segundo semestre que, para a alegria de todas as almas fofoqueiros que também estudam em Neo vocês se cruzaram na aula do Sr. Jordan de "Danças urbanas". Seus amigos em comum, Sabiam quetal encontro poderia ser a melhor coisa do mundo, ou o encontqqro mais desastroso do mundo!

— Eu voto na segunda opção. — Huang Renjun comenta distraído enquanto coloca sua bolsa no canto da sala. Seus outros amigos reclamam alegando que ele estava os amaldiçoando. — Vocês falam como se não conhecessem os dois, eu só estou sendo realista!

E o rapaz não estava errado. Logo nos primeiros minutos de aula se estranharam, pois de acordo com Hyuck você estava no lugar "dele", e de acordo com você "isso é ridículo" e que "não estavam na quinta série". Por conta disso o moreno passou a aula toda tentando te provocar o que te deixou surpresa com tanta infantilidade, mas sem o deixar sem uma resposta (e por conta disso, Huang recebeu olhares feios dos amigos).

Com um encontro tão marcante, vocês passaram a se provocar em toda e qualquer oportunidade que tinham, e passaram a ter muitas, oportunidades, agora que não só dividem três aulas, mas também se encontram com seus outros amigos. E por sua vez, a patota já não aguentaram mais suas provocações e reclamações.

"Você acredita que ela chegou meia hora antes da aula só pra ficar no meu lugar?! Meia hora Jeno!"

"Karina eu juro por Deus! Aquele garoto pediu pro desligar o ar condicionado, só porque ele não ficou no canto! Karina agente tá no verão! São quase 40 graus na sombra!"

Mas haviam coisas que nenhum dos dois poderia negar: Vocês possuiam beleza e talento. Talvez por esses motivos, mesmo não se gostando, não conseguiam reclamar quando eram colocados como dupla nos exercícios. Mesmo os estilos diferentes, vocês se completavam: quando Hyuck focava nos movimentos da parte superior do corpo, você chamava atenção para os membros inferiores; quando ele abusava das isolações e bopings, você realizava os mesmos passos com mais fluidez; e claro, sempre adicionavam detalhes de acordo com seus estilos,ele abusando do hiphop New School, e você com os elementos Old School.

Quem se aproveita dos constantes embates são os outros alunos da Universidade, que sempre colocaram mais lenha na Fogueira, inventando e aumentando histórias sobre os dois. Por isso você sempre evitava ir à festas principalmente quando sabia que Hyuck estaria Lá. Porém era final de semestre você precisava relaxar, e deixar Ningning e Chenle te convencer à ir a festa de Yeri pode não ter sido a melhor decisão (na realidade foi a primeira má decisão de uma longa sequência de mais decisões!).

Vestindo sua melhor roupa, decidiu ignorar a aura maçante de Donghyuck, que estava empenhado em levar uma pobre garota para seu covil, e foi tomar seu primeiro drink com suas amigas... depois o segundo... o décimo... o décimo... quinto?... Bom drinks suficientes para dançar com Hyuck sem nenhuma remarcação irônica ou sarcástica. Apenas você e um Haechan bem gostoso em seus jeans preto Skinny, camisa de botões - também preta-, que você percebeu estar com os dois últimos botões abertos, e aquela jaqueta ridicula preta dele.

Porque raios ele tinha que ficar tão bem vestindo assim?

Porque raios ele tinha que usar o cabelo desse jeito?

Porque raios ele tinha que ser tão cheiroso?

Porque raios ele tinha que falar no seu ouvido para o encontrar no banheiro?

Mesmo tentando, não consegue tirar do cabeça o modo como o moreno te prensava contra a porta com seu próprio corpo, mãos te apalpando firme enquanto seu quadril rodava contra o seu, e os lábios macios do rapaz roubavam todo o ar dos seus pulmões, explorando sua boca como se ele tivesse esperado por tempo demais para te beijar. Quando fecha os olhos consegue escutar voz abafada da Doja Cat que tocava na Festa, misturada com a respiração pesada que dividiam no banheiro, e claro, os gemidos que Hyuck soltava contra sua pele enquanto te marcava, mas também os gemidos roucos que eram proferidos contra sua boca quando você o pegava de surpre sa puxando os Frios de cabelo do rapaz.

É claro que a fofoca que "S/n E Haechan se pegaram forte no banheiro da Yeri" não demorou muito para se proliferar, e você não tar dou em rebater alegando ser mentira, o que não só causou uma dúvida coletivo sobre o que é mentira ou verdade na sua relação, mas também resultou em um Lee Doughyuck incrédulo e Frustrado na porta do seu dormitório. E sem muito esforço, esse mesmo Hyuck te fez engolir não só suas desculpas ("Não significou nada", "A gente tava bebado!"), mas tam bém seu pau.

Na semana seguinte foi você quem bateu no dormitório do rapaz reclamar de uma de suas gracinhas, e claro o fazer calar o boca sentando nele.

Mas mesmo com a mudança secreta e confusa na relação dos dois, suas interações provocativas pareciam ter se intensificado. Até porque sabiam que quanto mais provocações, mais orgasmos tinham. E para Lee essa é melhor preliminar do mundo!

— Vocês tão transando? — Jeno pergunta para vocês dois quando finalmente chegam na pizzaria, claro se provocando. A mesa todo encara o rapaz em silêncio, completamente chocados. Mas logo irrompem em lamúrias abismadas.

— Jeno querido... — Ningning chama sua atenção — Cê tá chapado?

— Porque você juntou essas palavras, cara?! - Karina reclama, e a mesa toda começou o atacar, menos você eHaechan que ficam em silencio sorrindo um para o outro. Não que alguém além do já encrencado Jeno tenha percebido.

Com as aulas voltando, o ritmo ficou mais pesado e intenso dificultando para você e Hyuck. Porém sempre podiam usar os "ensaios extras", onde alternavam entre dançar, se pegar, conversar e voltar tudo de novo. E apesar de começar a gostar de verdade um do outro, ambos concordaram em não estar prontos para assumirem e firmar algo (pelo menos você, porquê Lee estava pronto pra se declarar na segunda noite que tiveram juntos).

Mas em um ensaio informal, algumas meninas estavam se jogando para o moreno, que por sua vez parecia amar a tenção. O bicho verde do ciúmes te cega. Ignorando o presença dos resto dos seus amigos, você coloca "Finesse" do Bruno Mars e caminha até o moreno.

Haechan te observa enquanto se aproxima, e meu Deus, só uma encarada sua, foi o suficiente pre o deixar arrepiado. Você o puxa até o centro da sala, e não tem ninguém ali que não esteja os olhando.

A coreografia é energética, e apesar do conceito parecer alegre, os movimentos são bem sensuais. Com os corpos próximos você consegue o provocar ondulado Seu corpo com o dele, mas sem o encostar, fazendo com que o moreno gruna frustrado. Para logo na sequência Hyuck se aproveitar do modo como se arqueia e rebola para de fato roçar sua virilha na sua bunda. Mesmo que milimetricamente afastados, o moreno não parava de a encarar, deixando o corpo seguir instintivamente, só para aproveitar não só a visão de você dançando perfeitamente, mas também saborear o seu modo de marcar seu território. O que Lee considerava ver a coisa mais sexy do mundo.

Quando a música acaba, vocês estão parados ofegantes, o rapaz segura sua cintura firme, encarando sua boca - te fazendo lembrar da noite no banheiro- considerando se podia te beijar, mas é você quem o faz, o puxando pela nuca tomando os lábios alheios nos seu. Quando se afasta, morde o lábio do garoto que grune.

If you've been keeping up with this blog, you may have noticed that my coverage tends to somewhat slant toward the more emotional, the "deep" and hard-hitting stuff on SiIvaGunner, be it with rips like i love(d) you and Apotheosis to Heaven or with the entirety of my #character archives posts. I can't hide that a lot of my appreciation for the SiIvaGunner channel is emotional, likely in large part because I'm not a ripper myself and thus can't always properly appreciate rips for their craft alone. But I do try to diversify the blog's portfolio from time to time since, well, it would frankly be inaccurate to present the channel as being nothing but feature-length epics and carefully-improvised lore. Many parts of SiIvaGunner's evolution are driven by ambition, yes - yet just a many, if not more, are driven by boredom, messing around, and just flat-out being silly with it. And perhaps no ripper embodies this better than the one responsible for Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com and precisely two hundred and twentythree (223) other siiva rips - Memmy.

Rippers like Memmy, and rips just like the above, represent a hugely important part to SiIvaGunner's core, the one that predates even the channel itself: the spirit of SoundClown. SiIvaGunner as a channel was born through the ongoing antics and fun of a couple of teens on SoundCloud, messing around with mashups and video game music purely to make one another laugh. Despite joining the team four years after the channel's inception, it feels as if Memmy has embraced this original spirit more than anyone else, as should be immediately evident by the name of Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com alone. The titles of her rips are always like this, just a complete stream-of-consciousness bit written without a second though, and no matter how many years pass it stays as such an evergreen reminder of the silliness that persists within SiIvaGunner - a silliness that of course bleeds into the rips themselves! And so, while I've technically covered a chunk of her rips prior back on the Raftmageddon event on April Fools, with classics like lmao and request by raftride7000 pikachu x pachirisu amv- what makes rafts rideable, I think it's high time to actually dig into a proper rip of hers.

When I say "silly" or other such terms in today's context, I'm sure a lot of you immediately start to think along the lines of "brainrot" content or ironic shitposting, along the lines of we are number one but with outdated memes over it, Mad Mew Mew Becoming Uncanny, Corridors of Vine or plenty of the rips being made currently in Season 8. But I believe that's misrepresenting the topic a bit - even things made to be conceptually stupid through their source, can be wielded with finesse and ambition for remixing projects just like high quality rips often are. Beyond the obvious example of the SiIvaGunner channel in its entirety, a more specific example would be Season 5's "Disappearance of Super Mario" event: an event born from a running joke on Twitter, spun into one of the most solid and gripping channel narratives we've seen on the channel through the ambition put into it, like with what I wrote about on Your Worst Nightmario. No, I suppose "silly" isn't quite the right word to describe rips like Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com - but rather, that they have a sense of...playfulness? Its vibes extend all the way to the imagery you get of the ripper themselves sitting with a music file open and just messing around to see what would happen - I couldn't tell you what scenario would lead Memmy to, in 2021, combine music from 2017's Sonic Forces with Maroon 5's hit 2014 single This Summer's Gonna Hurt like a Motherfucker, other than one wherein the ripper in question was just testing things out for the pure fun of creation in of itself.

And that's really what I've been getting at with this post in general, how important that spirit is to the channel, and for the well-being of the internet in general: That spirit of completely unbothered, expectation-less creativity. One of my all-time favorite ripper replies I've gotten on this blog came from the ripper venula on Hella Pummel, wherein they described adding an additional source to the rip out of no reason other than simply because they felt it would be funny and sound good. Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com champions that spirit loudly and proudly - the mashup between Sonic Forces music and the aforementioned hit Maroon 5 single is a complete left-field idea, but Memmy goes all-in to make sure it actually results in a genuinely fun listening experience. It's partially due to the choice of Ghost Town in particular as the backing track, giving the rip a funky, bouncy backing that perfectly complements the sound of post-Overexposed Maroon 5, but This Summer is additionally pitch-shifted (and generally seems to be in a slightly lower key?) to match Ghost Town's slightly moodier tone. The connection with Hella Pummel only grows stronger once Ghost Town reaches its chorus, adding a piece of German pop music that I swear I've heard used in shitposts before yet couldn't even begin telling you a morsel of information about. But, sure enough - it sounds good, and doesn't even override This Summer's presence on the rip, instead just adding one more layer of sound to the backing track's highest point.

As described in the beginning, rips like Welcome to 2021! They finally invented summers that hurt motherfuckers😂 only at sonicforces​.​com aren't necessarily the most complicated, most carefully woven masterpieces of our time - but I really don't want that to be construed as demeaning, or in any way negatively slanted. Because it's the rips just like Memmy's that keep the channel afloat, the rips made just out of sheer curiosity and fun at the computer, rips made to entertain the ripper just as much - if not more - than to entertain an audience. The magic at the beating heart of SiIvaGunner is the knowledge that rips come from everywhere, from all kinds of people, with all kinds of intentions - and that any rip has the capability of making someone smile. In truth, I think we all could use a little bit more playfulness in our lives, and Memmy appears all too happy to keep serving us with it for the foreseeable future.

Golden Hour

A very self indulgent birthday piece I wrote with Toji on my mind. I wrote it while listening to Golden Hour by JVKE (Fuji Kaze Remix)

Obviously the two had a history that you could never forget, they called a truce eventually as you and your friend had helped raise Megumi during that dark time. You kissed him again and sighed before looking back at him.

“Okay love.” Bringing a hand down to the side of his face you pushed strands of his long midnight hair from his face, he’d grown it out so much it was held back in a haphazard bun at the nape of his neck. The pad of your thumb wiping away the sleep from his eye encased in those thick lashes you could never forget. When the small smile creeped upon his scarred lips you could feel the overwhelming emotions of your adoration raise to the surface and brim upon your water line.

“Chaparra…” He cupped the side of your face, there entwined beneath the thick horse blankets, you couldn’t help but smile wide back at him. ES and friends to lovers! Context for this - since ES is more your canon Jily, curious that ES sixth year Jily didn’t become friends/ really didn’t seem to like each other. I guess they’re not really enemies to lovers but would be curious to hear more on your take!

Ohh interesting! So ES was very much born out of the idea for a seventh year, canon-compliant, enemies(ish)-to-lovers Jily. And since they're both in Gryffindor, I had to figure out how to keep them mostly apart and disliking each other in sixth year for plot reasons. All the backstory there was very much a work backward situation — I knew where they started off 7th year, so then I needed to come up with story to justify how they got to that point. (This is also an aspect that I feel like I've done a much better job finessing and getting across in the rewrite.)

Friends-to-lovers Jily is something I've found myself exploring in other canon-compliant fics (for the hope of it all, As Lovers Go, Love for the Summer, the fic that goes with this mood board). ALG and Champion (both staying down right now for posting hiatus—I'm prewriting both) are also my sixth-year fics, where I explore different friendly/FWB Jily dynamics in sixth year. I don't necessarily feel like I have "one" hc for Jily's story, so I love writing them with different little tweaks!

As for making ES friends-to-lovers…my first thought was that it honestly feels like such an overhaul of the whole plot line (stemming from O.W.L.s in fifth year!) that it wouldn't even be recognizable. But then in thinking about it more, I think a remix would essentially be:

They end up with them dating the same people of ES backstory, but just having an entirely different tone. They'd establish a friendship (first kind of uneasy, then more natural), and because of that friendship, they'd push any feelings/attraction aside for the sake of the friendship, and we'd end up with for the hope of it all-esque extreme pining vibes as they both try to find love with other people while they really just want each other but also don't want to jeopardize their friendship.

When it comes to seventh year, obviously they get even closer working together and the tension starts mounting, but they're still fighting it because they think the other person doesn't feel that way about them (because they're dating other people, duh!) and they don't want to risk ruining their friendship by bringing it up. So they both try to date other people some more (hello Garrytt and perhaps an Adelaide relapse?) and these people are the ones that push Jily to their breaking point? Like I can see James bickering with her on rounds about how G's not good enough for her, and Lily's snarking about A, and somehow some way they start getting touchier with each other and then eventually give in to the tension, but then they have to figure out what comes next? Like do they just leave it as a kiss (I think Lily tries to do this, like "I don't want to get hurt") and continue as friends? Or do they date properly and risk losing it all? So there's some back and forth with figuring that out probably.

Honestly it feels like there's so many options and possibilities, and my head's kind of spinning with them. But I also like knowing I can write out those possibilities in different stories/iterations of them 🫶
