Honestly I’m surprised there hasn’t been a JayKyleRoy fic where Connor Hawke is hanging out with a non-cape friend, or a new hero, and they run into Roy and Jason doing some pda or something, and they’re like cool ok moving on… until that same friend/hero wanders through their house lost and comes across Jason also being intimate with Kyle who they know is Connor’s other close friend, and they proceed to panic over what to do with this information. All while Mia is observing being unbothered and munching on snacks

a child was just another checkmark on an invisible list that made a so-called successful life, that much they knew from an early age. harper's parents were the type who hired nannies to raise their offspring until said child could be presented back into their society once they’d learned how to behave properly. harper never learned this.

despite having everything money could offer from their father’s work in the law profession, harper was never content with the life their parents laid out in front of them. they rebelled against the gilded cage their parents had made for them. it was little things at first, wearing the wrong color dress to an event or not getting a decent enough grade on a book report, but as their discontent grew, so did the rebellions.

harper did graduate high school with honors, to their parents surprise, but didn’t pursue the college education they demanded of them ( it was that or help with their mother’s socialite events ), but instead traveled the world ( harper's father did at least give them the money for it so he could spin it the way he wanted to his friends ) with the agreement that when harper turned twenty-two, they would either come back and go to the college of their father’s choosing or settle down into the socialite life of their mother. instead, harper decided to make her own way in life by whatever means possible.

since then, her golden rule has been 'do no harm, but take what you want.' they swindled and swiped to their heart's content. at least, they did until the world ended.

very much focused on wants rather than needs. honestly more chaotic than they should be. may end up going down an even darker path if they don’t end up dead ( which is far more likely ).

SHE TRIES NOT TO STARE, but it's honestly very hard when it's the first time she's seen three of them in the same place. harper knows there are more, has tracked them down thanks to a blonde one that's been on her radar for a few months. she never thought she'd be this lucky though, stumbling onto some sort of vampire collective. she's scanning for weak spots, trying to figure out who'd be the most sensible to take out first, when she makes eye contact with the dark – haired woman across the bar. heart skips a fearful beat, but harper knows better than to let it show and holds her gaze instead. after all, they're both just supposed to be two humans having a drink.

In the last photo, Rose is still holding Lian as she begs for Rose to help her mom. Rose soothes her, "I... I can't, honey. I'm sorry. Your dad wants me to keep you safe, no matter what happens. Callie + Instagram

Callie really doesn't use Instagram, and her brother made her this account. She has started posting a bit more on it, because her mother has nagged her to forever. As she quote on quote, wants to see what's going on. As well as more pictures and videos. In truth, Callie knows it's because her mother wants to be nosey. Instagram is also the bane of her existence for this reason.

Asha had tears in her eyes as she walked into the apartment. It was early in the morning and she was just getting home from her shift at the club. Carefully, she shut the front door and slid off her shoes, tip-toeing though the place. She didn't want to come in loud and disturb Harper. She knew the younger woman was still adjusting to the time difference and being in a new place. The last thing that Asha wanted to do was fuck with that. She quietly padded past Harper's bedroom and slipped into her own with a deep, sad sigh shutting the door behind her. Flicking on the light, Asha quickly swatted the switch back down and inhaled a sharp breath upon seeing the lump in her bed when she'd turned on the light. "Shit," she whispered softly as she froze, barely breathing.
