There's a lot of people who genuinely think the trans flag (🏳️‍⚧️) is a "child predator flag". I have been in work spaces where we had a transgender flag somewhere around reception to show our support for the Lgbtq community, and the amount of clients and customers who legit asked and were STUNNED of what it meant (we described it as "transgender people are just people who don't feel comfortable with what's considered being a traditional boy or traditional girl" to keep it as neutral as possible) and not "lol it's a flag for people who want to creep on kids", was staggering.

Yes, Google exists. But being neutral and respectful (kind, compassion, empathy, those basic traits that they teach you in preschool and kindergarten) when people are genuinely asking "hey, what does this mean?" Will get you further then "LOL HANG YOURSELF YOU BIGOT" for in real life encounters.

Part of advocacy is knowing how to actually talk to people.

my review: i have personally used the gc2b binder--i didn't wind up liking it for myself because of the way the compression interacted with my sensory issues (and the heat. omg i was so sweaty in the summer hahaha) but also. i am very sensitive to fabric textures and prefer loose clothing and ngl don't even wear bras at all anymore so it really depends on the interactions between your dysphoria vs your dysmorphia vs your potential sensory objections!

and i'm excited by the new tape product (which btw is $14 per roll at time of posting) so i'm gonna check that out when i can!!!

Okay so i just coined this uhm this is dudething this is my gender where youre a dude and a thing or a thing and a dude. This is the dudething pride flag. I felt like nothing has been describing me well enough recently so heres dudething.

Im very passionate about making my own place in the world and doing what i feel is most true to myself so ive decided that this is just me like this is Remmy. Remmy is such a dudething. Hope yall accept dudething Remmy.

Awhile ago when i was a baby transmasc i had a friend that said every nonbinary tmasc ends up just fully transing to a trans man. I dont think thats true but being afraid of making him right has been affecting the way i live true to myself and how i experience my gender. I dont think im just a trans man and i dont really think im just nonbinary. I think gender changes over time with our experiences and seeing my facial hair grow in has definitely influenced my gender in a more masculine way. Truth be told describing myself as nonbinary has been feeling a little ill fitting recently. So I think dudething describes me for now. Thanks for reading guys i love yall.

As far as the flags design, I picked blue bc its commonly interpreted as masculine, yellow because its commonly interpreted as nonbinary, and green to show an experience thats similar but different to those two identities. I also included an interrobang as a symbol on the flag bc i feel like thats just the dudething mood 👍🏻

My 74 year old grandpa who is in hospice care that I never met and was probably part of organized crime in America from my mom's suspicion apparently told her that if I "ever want a dick (trans), I can have his when he dies" in a serious manner

It especially applies to when people only gender you correctly to be negative, but it applies to other situations as well. Sexual dimorphism is not that different between what medical textbooks deem "anatomically male (penis set) vs anatomically female (labia set)".

I jokingly say all the time "a clit is a mini penis" because the structures are so similar.

People get UP IN ARMS about lesbian discourse relating to trans men in lesbian spaces because "ew penis." People get UP IN ARMS about "if I as a man do anything with a penis outside of my own, OH MY GOD AM I GAY ?????".

They're just god damn organs. They're SO FUCKING SIMILAR. this is the equivalent of people (in a similar metaphor/similar) "rectangle vs square". For fluffs sake.
