spoilers ahead.

also an essay i have much to say.

first of all, i was so hyper aware of every little thing between Crowley and Aziraphale. all the little touches and comments and MOST WERE FROM AZIRA. also the most HEARTWRENCHING one was the immediate arm grab when Beelzebub said they found something more important than picking sides. like shoot me now.

i also did quite enjoy the Gabriel Beelzebub story line it was so sweet and set the thought for Crowley. which btw when he mentioned the Alpha Centurai and Azira looked at him KNOWING Crowley previously wanted to take him there HURTS.

god the last scene. just the MISCOMMUNICATION. my stepmom said she wasn’t sure how she felt about them being in a romantic relationship but i could not disagree more. they are both insanely in love with each other but just don’t know how to TALK ABOUT THE IMPORTANT SHIT. and Aziraphale wanted to make Heaven good enough for Crowley, he didn’t want Crowley to change. and Crowley loves Azira and doesn’t want him back in the toxic environment. he loves him and wants to take him away from it. GOD WE BETTER GET S3 SO THEY CAN TALK THEIR SHIT OUT.

seeing Crowley nearly cry in the last scene broke me too. he just wants them to get away and be together and Aziraphale wants the SAME THING BUT IN A DIFFERENT WAY.

GODDAMNIT UGHBBVB.

and i know people have said this but i love love love that the kiss was awful. i mean it was awkward and uncomfortable and that made it better. because most movie/tv first kisses are tender and sweet and make you all warm and fuzzy that they finally got together. this was Crowley trying to get it in Azira’s head that this is how he FEELS. it was frustrated and angry and desperate. it was real.

final note: i don’t agree with people saying Azira rejected him for multiple reasons. one is all the little hints in the season, the hand on the chest in the pub, the dancing, the comments, the looks. he clearly loves him too. two is that Crowley pulled away from the kiss. he didn’t. it was ultimately what he wanted too. three HE IS PRETTY MUCH BRAINWASHED BY HEAVEN. he thinks it’s good. he doesn’t know any better.

it’s ok tho guys. even if s3 doesn’t get approved Neil said he would write a book. WE WILL GET CLOSURE.

Apparently in the book, Aziraphale and Crowley are implied to be a gay couple MANY TIMES.

A girl at Warlock’s birthday party calls Aziraphale a faggot.

Anathema automatically assumes that Crowley and Aziraphale are a gay couple after Crowley says “Goodnight miss. Get in, Angel.” to Aziraphale

Also, One scene I wish would’ve been acted out as it is in the book is when they both get shot with the paintball guns. How it happens in the book is Aziraphale ends up FALLING BACKWARDS INTO A RHODODENDRON BUSH and Crowley sinks down on a statue.

Crowley believes he is bleeding YELLOW and DYING and instead of, ya know, helping Aziraphale UP AS HIS ANGEL HAS JUST SAUNTERED VAGUELY DOWNWARDS INTO A BUSH, HE JUST CHOOSES TO CRAWL INTO THE BUSH AS WELL, BELIEVING SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH BIOLOGY. Aziraphale tells Crowley it hurt and it hit him under his ribs, which he brushes off TO ASK IF ANGELS BLEED BLUE.

Aziraphale proceeds to the same self examination as Crowley.

Crowley only figures out it is PAINT when he TASTES IT. They conclude it is PAINT.

post-macdennis reveal episode in the same vein as "the gang spies like u.s." where mac and dennis get tired of fighting and decide to look for a third partner for casual sex so they can both bottom get what they want. except they have a hard time finding a guy they're a. both attracted to and b. neither of them are jealous of, so they keep sabotaging/scaring away each candidate.

meanwhile, charlie sees them sneaking around to screen all these guys and thinks they're trying to replace him with another gay friend since they're both gay now. a confused confrontation ensues where he essentially re-applies to be their friend by bringing up all the weird shit they've done together over the last 30 years and insisting he can fulfill all of their needs even though he's not also gay.
