As a new Ghost King and being a Fenton, Danny didn't have many people to ask for dating tips. Other than well his parents, Jazz and the Death Gods. That is how Danny learned.
"Kidnapping should work."
And as Danny already knew Wonder Girl that he meet during the "meeting of the Pantheons", where he was Persephone and Hades +1... And that way, meet Granny Demeter.
And Cassie was there too; Zeus did bring her to show off his new daughter to the other Gods.
A few months later.
It became a game between both. Cassie is Greek." This must be how dating works." But there are limits. When Danny can try to steal her!
So she gets angry when Danny tries to kidnap her while fighting a villain.
Cassie." NOT NOW!"
Danny gave Cassie a sad puppy look.
Cassie:" GO!"
Danny did fly away and looked sad.
Miss Martian looked at the one who tried to kidnap her teammate:" I feel bad for him; should I feel bad for him?"
Cassie. "He will jump back to his feet in a few hours or so. He knows better than to try to kidnap me when I am working."
Artemis:" I have so many questions that I will ask later."

I wish we had gotten the POV of someone with more of a history with their godly parent during the Battle of the Acropolis. And by that I mean either Percy or Annabeth. If Nico or Thalia had been there I would have been okay with their POVs too.
Can you imagine the tension, angst, and yearning during the fight? Did they trade words or battle banter? Annabeth had recently dealt with the fallout of the Mark of Athena, and now she has to fight alongside the one who started that whole mess. This would have made for an excellent opportunity to address Annabeth's feelings and relationship with Athena across the series, giving that background plotline that has been since The Lightning Thief closure.
Or maybe the appearance of multiple sons of Poseidon across HOO foreshadows a final talk between Percy and Poseidon after the fight. After they can finally stand physically together side by side. Percy, after being left alone by his father once the Great Prophecy ended, feels the true (maybe now fully unconditional) support of his father for the first time in his life. A great send-off for Percy as a protagonist before focusing on new characters in the next sagas.
Just... they were DEMIGODS fighting alongside their GODLY PARENTS. That was huge. The kind of shit you only saw in fanfics. I just feel it could have been... more(?).

How I Imagine Hades and Nico Interacting
feat Baby Nico
Playing Hide and Seek:
Hades, covering his face: Ready or not, here I come! *uncovers his face then looks down to see Nico just covering his face*
Hades: Hmm, where's Nico? I wonder where he is.
Baby Nico: *giggles*
Hades: Hmm, I can't find him
Baby Nico: *uncovers his face* I'm over here!
Hades: *looks around, and pretends not to see him* Hmm? What was that?
Baby Nico: Papa! Papa, down here!
Hades, looks down and pretends to be shocked: AH! THERE YOU ARE!! *scoops him up and snuggles him into his arms*
Baby Nico: *giggles*

One of the fun things about melnem is the parent reactions. (Talking about Hecate and Od). Because Hecate has the typical "You stay away from my daughter!" Dad reaction. Thinks Nem is not good enough, absolutely hates the idea of Nem and Mel dating.
Meanwhile Od is offering to cover Nem's guard shifts and totally trying to set them up on dates and meetcutes. He also unsuccessfully tries to talk Nem into being nice to the girl she likes rather than picking on her. But he just doesn't understand sapphic bullying being a key part of the courtship.

I know everyone was mad at Rick changing the quest to failing the deadline but come on. Getting Posideon to jump in and forfeit a war because he cares about his kid? It lends so much to why Percy would stay loyal to his dad! His dad just saved his ass aND chose to lose a war for him. Posideon chose to give up his GLORY for HIS SON!! Exactly what Percy would do!!
PLUS the whole "do you dream of mom?" Like!! They both care about Sally so much!! And while Percy has mixed feelings on the whole god thing, his dad has been nothing but kind! Sure he was absent, but in the 2 scenes we've seen, he's far and away the best parent of all the gods we've seen.

Headcanon: show Hades embracing his inner greek parent. His two sides when it comes to his son Nico:
Hades trying to set up Nico with Percy but Nico's too shy:
Hades when Nico finally gets engaged to Percy and he realizes his little boy is growing up:
(Don't like don't read. Post hate and I'll block you)

…. It was a mistake to put Din next there for size comparison 😭 also I’ll very badly need some help with writing the dialogue whenever I get there, or it will be a “This is the Way” interaction back and forth and I’m only half joking XD

Hades going on about how Thanatos' mom dumped Thanatos on him and left Hades to raise the guy feels like it's supposed to makes us go "Look how ungrateful this guy is, betraying the one guy who stood by him all his life by cruelly going after his benefactor's girlfriend." but it actually makes Hades look worse.
First of all, Thanatos didn't ask for that job. His mom shoved him into it, and YOU LET HER, HADES. Just like with Persephone, you could've pawned him off on someone else. Give him a recommendation letter. Do something. You didn't. You did not dislike the idea of child labor enough to get rid of him.
Second of all, as pissy as Hades is about Thanatos talking all that shit, Persephone did the crime Thanatos accused her of. She has yet to argue that she didn't kill those people. In fact, she has said the opposite. People on her side have admitted she killed those people. Why is Thanatos the bad guy?Cause he's not enabling corruption when his adoptive dad's gf is involved? Fuck that bullshit
Thirdly, Thanatos' mom seems to have become a deadbeat after dumping the kid on Hades, since we never see or hear of her interacting with him in between that point and the present and we never see his sperm donor so that bitch is probably a deadbeat too. Hades is basically the only family he really has, and he is putting Thanatos in a position where if he doesn't enable Hades' questionable romance choice, Hades will turn on him without hesitation like a rabid dog biting anyone who comes near.

It's only fair that after ranting about how Demeter vs Hades parenting choices were dealt with in the comic that I tell everyone I have plans for an AU where Hades wants to get rid of Thanatos fosters Thanatos with Demeter to give him time in the mortal realm and learn about life and death, and as a result, 10% out of spite for Hades and 90% out of affection for Thanatos (who flourishes under her care), Demeter adopts him as her own son.

man... rhoam's "redemption" in aoc really sucked, huh?
like botw SHOWED us, several times, how much pressure rhoam put on zelda to unlock her powers, despite her telling him, several times, that it wasn't working. he got angry and banned her from doing not only something she saw as useful, but something that she was clearly very interested in and passionate about because she "wasn't dedicating enough time to her prayers." yes, his diary expresses regret for it, but at the end of the day, if zelda saw that it wouldn't mean much to her. the actions rhoam took, and the way zelda grew up under so much pressure that she nearly died as a child in one of the springs (this is in urbosa's diary, iirc) mean so much more than his regrets and his intentions. it took him nearly 10 years to realize that he fucked up, and by that point it was too late. the calamity had returned, and rhoam had lost any chance he had at making things right with zelda.
meanwhile, in aoc, all that's there is some half-hearted scene in the temple of time that's supposed to make everything better? yes, aoc had a very different and arguably better outcome than the calamity that led to botw, but the damage was still done by rhoam. it's still the same hurts and abuse and trauma that he put his daughter through all because of the prophesized calamity.
