All according to plan! Here's another blurb because everyone in this fandom is a gift.

So, I for one can totally see the Batfamily trying to find out where Danny set up is Haunt in Gotham because Dead Ghost Child and the implications of their first meeting. Actually, let's talk about their first meeting because it's related.

Danny bringing gifts to the biggest shrine to declare his arrival. He brings Robin a cool knife he found in the GZ (Or maybe it was a gift who knows.) Point is, it's a spooky knife, and like...nice postcard of sunrises, blue skies and other Pretty places because man, the Bats don't ever leave Gotham and aren't seen in daylight hours what if they miss it or haven't seen it and some homemade (slightly ectro-contaminated cause it was made in the GZ) Bat-themed cookies. No one Knows they're bat-themed until Danny explains. (They look like those sad misshapen spider-man ice cream cones but god did Danny and Jazz Try and intentions are what matter here.)

They meet, Danny throws them into existential crisis' because Ghosts and of course they're trying to find him so they can (adopt him, make sure he's okay, ask what who's hunting him cause WHAT) And instead of the usual shenanigans of them meeting Danny as human or Phantom, the only one to ever meet Danny is Alfred.

Danny who got help from a really nice British guy when he was trying to figure out what to give as offerings to the Bats and might've been having a small crisis because 'what if they don't let us stay and we have to go to somewhere like eugh Metropolis.' and ends up latching onto the first Nice Adult he meets during said crisis.

Danny & Jazz who just so happen to bump into the the Nice Adult while grocery shopping (Alfred who has a schedule for the family shopping and Jazz who always says having a set routine is Healthy.) and the two keep trying to politely ask how to adult and do cooking because let's be real. While Jazz has done her best to feed herself and Danny a better diet the Fenton kitchen was a disaster zone and there's only so much you can do when you're food keeps trying to attack you. There's much more to your food than striking it back down after all.

i don't understand the people who complain about Sleep Token getting goofy on stage as if it's a new thing. they've always been goofy, it's just that now you can really tell they're more comfortable on stage and are having fun. if Vessel wants to do jumping jacks and cartwheels on stage, go for it king! imho it doesn't ruin the aesthetic at all and i love seeing them all have fun.

Been thinking about the children that Lucy bit and wondering, were there any lingering effects of their experience?

Seemingly none of them were fed on enough times to worry about being turned into child vampires, and with Lucy and Dracula killed they assumedly wouldn't be at risk even if they were.

But beyond strange nightmares and muddled memories of their abduction by 'The Bloofer Lady', and the faint scars on their necks, do any of the children start being able to maybe See things they couldn't before? Are any of them just a little stronger or faster?

If it could happen to Jonathan after all...

And do they somehow find each other later? The other children who were taken and had this strange experience none of them were ever able to make sense of? And try to work out together just what happened to all of them that left them slightly Off?

Do the Crew of Light ever go back to check on any of them?

Renji wakes to a weight on his chest, and he can’t even bring himself to panic. This isn’t entirely unusual anymore.

“Renji. Ren, wake up.”

He decides to press his face into the pillow instead.

“Renji. Renji, it’s September first. I know you can hear me.”

He groans, moving sleep-stiff hands to hold Uta’s hips. Normally he’d be jumping for joy at the feeling of being straddled like this, but….

“It’d better not be as early as I think it is,” Renji mutters.

“It’s only five.”

Renji groans again, cracking an eye open. “Have you slept at all tonight?”

Uta cocks his head again, eyes catching the dim light and glowing like fires. His rumpled hair falls loosely over one shoulder. “That’s irrelevant,” he says simply. “It’s September first.”

“I heard you the first time, babe,” Renji sighs patiently.

Uta’s manic grin fades, replaced by a disappointed pout. Despite himself, Renji has to fight back a smile.

“You’ve already redecorated the house, haven’t you?”

Uta nods.

Renji laughs, head falling back against the pillows. With a heavy sigh he sits up, shifting Uta to his lap. “Alright. Give me the grand tour.”

Uta’s face immediately brightens again. He kisses Renji hard on the lips, yanking back before Renji even gets the chance to lean in. “You won’t regret this,” he says cheerfully.

Renji falls forward, letting his head land on Uta’s shoulder. “You make it sound like I might,” he mumbles, “but I’ll deal. Let’s go.”

Giggling, Uta scrambles off Renji’s lap and hauls him out of bed.
