So I bought The Longing, which has been very chill thus far. I've only had it for about 4 days now, so I haven't done too much yet.
On the first day, I got lost a lot and kept having to use the auto walk to get back home, so I made maps! These cover everything I currently have access to (at least, as far as I know). So, if you're less than a week into the game, you may find them useful.
Oh, and I came up with names for everywhere, so I'd have an easier time navigating!

Today, I'm going to be a fool and try to reach the end of eternity. I think there might be a way into the library there. Wish me luck!
Edit: no library entrance, but there were two pieces of paper and a book, so time not completely wasted.

I speak from the MS. charts that were in the library of the Nautilus – charts evidently due to the hand of Captain Nemo, and drawn up from his personal observation.

The Scithyrian Archipelago
Starting small, The Scytherian Archipelago is made up of six total islands, four of which host the seven territories. Each territory will have a more in depth post later on as this is just a basic full map over view!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The biggest island is called General Scithyria and it hosts the three biggest territories, Icura, Plasmeria, and The No-Lands! General Scithyria also hosts the merchants port of Mintinkery, a place that had been dubbed neutral ground for all races regardless of current or prior conflict.
Out of the five smaller islands, which are collectively dubbed The Breakage, only three are named. These islands are Pinton, Tūsi, and Hexle, which also happen to be the names of the territories amongst them.
Until I can find a map maker that I can actually understand and use this is the best I got so I apologize. If/when I make a better one I’ll be sure to either remake this post with it or give it its own post.
Coming up next: Breaking into details for the seven territories, starting with Icuria!

A hand-drawn and painted map of Greenwich Village (or part of it), made for the Central Savings Bank in 1934. Tony Sarg, who created it, was a member of the Salmagundi Club, and the original still hangs in the club's headquarters at 47 Fifth Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets.

Map of the fourtynine dreams
from my dnd campaign: The Pillar, a lovecraftian entity has taken control of the dreams of the PCs and meshed them together with each other, its own visions and warnings of the future and kept them prisoners there for quite some time, to test them (it´s functioning is guarding a magical library) and warn them. I useed the map as an in-world item, a guide for where the players could go and how as well as as a battle map.

Ok, so i first started with drawing this map. The only things i remember from the first two times I had this dream was that I'd always start in the quarry/cave area with a feeling that I was doing something else before it happened and that I could only enter places with no lights while a fog fluctuated from ankle height to waist height. Not to mention that I could hear voices but I couldn't see or find any people they were attached too.
Also i added lines with the draw part of the photo library app to show where I walked. Red is night one, blue is night two, and pink was when I was under anesthesia for surgery.
It was during surgery when I go on the path marked in pink and I see the first person in the dream. They were in the middle of the lake the boats were at, like on the water, partially submerged before they noticed me.
Here's a description I gave to a friend of it after getting home from surgery: A weird tall person with a white and pale ass blue color palette, had wings chained down by their waist, wore a plague doctor mask and held a lantern, and had the habit but not the rest of the nun clothes. And it sounded feminine in the way two different people saying the goddamn same thing sound feminine.

So when they came up to me, looking at me for a long moment before asking me, "Why is your candle running out?" and began to guide me away from the lake and the boats.
And that was when i woke up just as a nurse was calling for my sister to help wake me up since I was still asleep from the anesthesia.
So yeah... that was my weird dream... nightmare thing. And I'm going to call this figure my brain cryptid for now.
