Happy Moony Day!

Lily Evans brandished her camcorder. Her father had shelled out a big sum after she’d gotten the wizard equivalent of an A* in her OWLs for her to buy whatever she wished.

“That a camera, Evans?” Sirius Black asked, prodding the lens with inky fingers.

“Don’t dirty it!” she snapped. “Yes, it’s a camera.”

“Ooh, Moony’s is differ–”

“That’s because I can record videos on here, Black.”

The portrait swung open, screaming garishly at—oh, it was Potter. She shared the Speared Knight’s sentiments. He was walking towards Sirius, sweaty from Quidditch but still in the sweat-soaked uniform. Couldn’t he shower in the stalls like everyone else? No, he had to parade his lean arms in the tight uniform. Yuck.

“–record for his birthday?”

“What was that?”

Sirius looked back, saw James taking two stairs at a time to their dorm. Watched Lily’s eyes tracking him and grinned.

“Alright,” she cleared her throat. “What is Remus to you Marauders?”

“Uncouth little bastard, he is! I got detention for the tickling hex he used on Flitwick, y’know?” Sirius said cheerfully. James shoved him. Peter lurched over the arm on Sirius’ left. Why they insisted on smushing themselves in one sofa, she didn’t want to know.

“What Mr Padfoot means to say,” James cut in pointedly, “is that Moony, my dear Moonman, is the sparkling Brains behind some–”

Peter coughed. Sirius slapped his back heartily.

James glared at the pair, “–most of our elaborate pranks. Padfoot and I haven’t got the patience, Pete too, but you know our Remus, he has the patience of ten saints. He’s our devious schemer.”

Lily hid a smile behind the flipped out screen of her camera. “He’s the people’s favourite though.”

“Ours too,” Sirius said matter-of-factly. James and Peter made googly-eyes at him, and Sirius scoffed, ears blushing.

Lily was cursed with ample curiosity, which was clawing up her throat.

“Peter?”

Peter scratched his chin. “Moony is like the Backbone. He’s the the framework of our group. He’s not like Prongs, he can’t make everyone talk about their problems–”

“Aw,” James cooed loudly. “God knows he doesn’t discuss his own problems,” Sirius muttered.

“–and he isn’t everyone’s problem like Padfoot,” Peter grinned at Sirius’ hand-on-chest-betrayed face. “Moony helps you appreciate silence. He knows when to prod, when to hold back. And he also guides us through schoolwork even if he’s busy.”

Lily knew Peter meant himself in that misleading blanket statement but neither James nor Sirius corrected him. She found herself a bit touched.

“He’s amazing. He’s so steady and dependable, like. So generous too, I’d have died in our dorm two weeks into first year if not for him, actually.”

“Oh yes, we brewed that–” James’ eyes glinted with nostalgia.

Lily interjected immediately, “Sirius?”

“He’s our favourite,” he said, but his eyes were too clear, cheeks too pink.

They crowded the frame messily, “Happy birthday Moony! We love you!”

Sirius approached her later that evening when the common room was sparse. “Mind doing my bit solo?”

Lily shrugged, interested. “Sure.” She got it ready and pointed the lens at Sirius’ handsome face.

“Moony is the bravest person in Gryffindor.”

She’d heard this before. She’s not sure why it is, but she knew the three of them agreed on this unanimously.

“I know he’s the brain and the bones, but he’s also the Heart. James could just as easily be the Bones, I could be the Brain,” Sirius winked. “But we’re both too much of twats to be the Heart, Pete also. But Remus is–he’s so Good.”

Lily was shocked at the sincerity in Black’s voice. “Oh?”

“He’s been through a lot, our Moony, but as tender as our human hearts are, as much as they bruise, he just keeps on doing, fighting. He’s gentle in a way I haven’t learnt, kind in a way James has tried to emulate, hardworking in a way Peter tries to copy.

“Remus is my very core. He’s most of what’s good about me,” Sirius said.

She didn’t know if he realised the change from Our to My. She didn’t comment.

“James and Peter’s friendship is absolutely everything to me, but Remus is a Very Important person to me,” he said quietly. “We love him so dearly.”

Lily offered an encouraging nod.

Sirius looked at the camera, no, behind it, and beamed. “Happy birthday darling, be happy always.”

Remus walked into the frame, and Lily’s camera shook. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.

synopsis: second year of college started with a clearer perspective of what being a student meant - more responsabilities, harder subjects and the same level of procrastination as always. but that summer, and the ones that followed, proved that second year of college was the beginning of it all: midnight rides, stupid arguments, hopeful glances and the fire of a first love that never stops burning.

The three boys pounced, Jisung cackling as he tackled the captain to the floor, the two others pulling his arms above his head. 

Minho gasped and bucked around, just to shriek out a plea for mercy as Seungmin took a seat on his ankles while Felix sat on his arms, resting the eldest’s head on his lap. 

“Yeah, yeah. We managed to overpower you.” Jisung made a move to get off of the captain’s waist, much to the other soon-to-be lers’ surprise. 

“Where are you going?” Felix questioned. “Um…what are you guys doing?” Jisung retorted. “We’re gonna wreck him, why’re you leaving, come help us!” Seungmin yelled. “He’s not ticklish!” Jisung waved his hand nonchalantly.  

“Oh hoho boy, you have no idea, do you?” Seungmin sighed, pulling the quokka back by the ankle and seating him on Minho’s legs, much to the captain’s dismay. 

Seungmin straddled the older’s waist, cooing at the way Minho squeaked at the movement.  

“Okay, come here, let me show you all the ways to get him screaming~” Seungmin chuckled lowly, and Minho sealed his lips, cheeks crimson.  

A singular finger tracing up his side was enough to make him flinch; the captain knew he was done for. 

Embarrassment creeped up Minho’s neck to his ears as Jisung watched him with everlasting curiousity, eyes gleaming with fondness as Seungmin cooed at him again. 

“Seungmin, stop this! I am your captain, of course I’m not tickl—AAH!!” Minho squealed when a single finger poked his armpit, a smile on his face betraying him. 

Seungmin leaned closer to his ear, whispering something in the older boy’s ear that made him so red that even Felix began to tease him. 

“This is gonna tickle sooo badly for you, isn’t it? Imagine, Jisungie, watching you laugh your cute little head off with that little weakness of yours. You may be the captain, but now I’m calling the shots, got it? And I’m not stopping till you’re begging~”

Minho squeaked, face burning a bright red. Jisung watched in awe as Seungmin managed to unravel the stoic captain with just his words, while his fingers gently traced Min’s sides with every word, a gentle reminder of what’s to come. 

“Okay, Jisungie, first you wanna get him to at least stop denying that he’s ticklish. I know you thought he wasn’t, but trust me, he’s one of the most sensitive people ever, you just gotta break that initial shyness, you know?” Felix instructed, hands suddenly moving to the kitten’s armpits and scribbling gently, causing Minho to arch his back with a restrained yelp, eyes squeezing shut with a grin on his face. 

“You’re so cute…now tickle tickle tickle, hyunggg~” Seungmin teased, hands suddenly moving to his sides and digging in roughly. 

Minho gasped, the finger inching closer and closer to his belly button. 

“You’re not ticklish here, are you?” Seungmin asked in mock confusion and curiousity, finger swirling around the area, the same way Minho had done to Jisung the first time he had arrived on the ship.  

Hannie could feel his face start to burn at the memory, suddenly excusing himself to run to Minho’s room. He had an idea. 

By the time he returned, Minho still hadn’t broken, although his ears signalled that he couldn’t last much longer. 

Seungmin waited with a smirk until Jisung’s eyes were trained on the captain again, Minho pleading desperately with his eyes. It was all fruitless, however, it never stopped Minnie from beginning to absolutely ruin the older. 

“Mmmmmmmmm—NOOOOHOHOHO SEHEUNGMIN LEHEHEHET ME GOHOHO YOU BRAT!!” Minho exploded into laughter as the finger slipped into his sensitive belly button all the same. 

Jisung watched in shock as Felix began to join in gleefully, the two boys’ hands moving so fast across the captain’s torso that the kitten was having trouble breathing through his laughter. 

“PLEHEHEHEHEASE OHOHO MY GAHAHAHAA—NOHO LET GOHO AHAHAHAGHHH!!” Minho twisted away, tears already beginning to line his eyelashes. 

Jisung stared, eyes watching as the two lers picked him apart, finding familiar spots to make the captain squeal and twist side to side.  

“FUHUHUHUHUCK YOU SEHEHEHEUNGMINN!!” Minho swore, twisting and trying to contain his laughter, just to break down yet again into uncontrollable mirth as Felix aimed at another spot.  

“Oh wooowww…you’re a real glutton for punishment, huh, captain?” Seungmin scoffed, hands moving to the elder’s hips. 

That’s when Min began to beg. “Wait…wahahait…I’m sorry—just please, don’t touch me!” He yelped as a singular poke made its way to the area. 

Jisung noted how Felix silently continued his work, not the type to tease until his lees went red, however Seungmin seemed to be the polar opposite. 

Seungmin called Jisung over to sit on the elder’s legs, and Minho shrieked for mercy. 

Mong grabbed his hips with his hands, suddenly kneading into the space with his thumbs in the captain’s hollows while the rest of his fingers dug deep into Min’s v-line. 

Jisung was almost thrown off with how hard the cat bucked, a high-pitched scream shooting from his lips as he jolted away from the puppy’s touch. 

“NUHUH-UH!! SEUNGMIN, DONT YOU FUCKING DAAAAARE —AAHAHHAAHAHAAA!’” Minho absolutely lost it, thrashing around hysterically. 

Another wail ripped from his throat as Jisung experimentally squeezed at his thighs. 

“NONONONO! AHAHAHAHAHAH! WAAHAHAHAHA! STAHAHAHP!! STOP STAHAP STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAP!” 

“Who knew the captain was so sensitive?~” Seungmin cooed, although Minho was too hysterical to really pay attention to whatever nonsense they were spewing. 

“YOU MOHTHERFUHUCKER! STAHAHAHAHAHAP! ILL-KILL-YOU!” Min shrieked. 

“Now you’re just being real impossible, hyung.” Felix sighed, shifting his hands from the kitten’s armpits to his ribs instead, startling at the instantaneous reaction.  

“WAIT! WAITWAITWAIT-!"

Felix grinned. “Scoooorreee!!”

Seungmin followed by dipping a very familiar hooked tool into Minho’s belly button, and a flash of familiarity caught the boy off guard as Jisung smirked. “This is my revenge.”

Minho threw his head back and arched his spine, a desprate, gravely scream forcing itself out of him before he frustratedly squealed at the pure amount of hands, the overwhelming sensations reducing him to an absolute mess on the floor of the deck. He didn’t even want to know how many of his crewmates could probably hear him losing his mind right now. 

“OKAHAHAHAHAHHAAAY!! OKAHAHAY OKAY OKAY OKAY WAHAHAIT WAIT!! STOP—STOP—STAAAAHAAAAHHAP!! IHIM SAHAHARRYY!!” Minho wailed. 

Jisung teasingly moved his hands towards the captain’s legs, throwing off the older’s shoes. 

Through his tearful laughter, Minho saw his life flash before his eyes. “WAIT!! IHIHIHIHIHI—ISAIDIWASSOHORRY!!” 

“I know, but you might need it to sink in a bit more, dontcha think?” Seungmin grinned evilly. The second those cruel, cruel hands descended onto his poor soles, he was done for. 

He wailed and apologized, cursed and thrashed, but none of it was enough. 

“WOAAH—AAAAAAHHHH!!” And his laughter was gone, mind rolling and tears practically streaming down his cheeks. 

Minho was a mess, shirt and hair completely tousled and eyes tearing up almost painfully. 

He mustered enough breath to scream out a desperate “EHHEEEENOUGHHHH!!”

Hands slipped off of his body entirely, and Seungmin watched with growing concern as the older just lay there, not moving, just panting irresponsively. 

Minho gasped for air, eyes shut exhaustively. 

“That was…something.” Jisung whispered, moving over to the captain and checking on him. “You alive?”

“Baharely, cause of you brahats…” Minho sucked in more air, holding his stomach to prevent any excess giggles to slip out. 

They sat in silence for a few minutes before they checked on him again. 

Minho lay sprawled on the floor, his cheeks flushed and eyes half-closed with a contented grin. Seungmin gently brushed a stray lock of hair from Minho's face, while Felix and Jisung playfully ruffled his hair.

“Looks like we finally wore you out,” Felix teased softly. “And who would’ve known you were so ticklish?” Jisung followed. 

“Shuhut up…”

A while after they managed to settle the sleepy kitty into bed, the nestled themselves around the cushions. 

They exchanged knowing glances, appreciating the rare moment of tranquility. Seungmin reached over and gently adjusted the blanket around Minho, ensuring he was snug and comfortable. “He really needed this,” Seungmin murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jisung nodded, his gaze warm. “Yeah, it’s nice to see him so at ease.”

Felix leaned back, stretching his legs out with a contented sigh. “Let’s just stay like this for a while.” Earning agreement from the others. 

Minho’s dreams were filled with a sense of unspoken gratitude and warmth. Then a need for more revenge. What can he say? He needed to get all of them back somehow…

saki seeks out hotaru, explaining the struggle to her. though it quickly becomes clear that if they spread the gifts and say both of them got them for you, then hotaru won't be empty handed on your birthday and saki won't drown you in presents!

as for what to do on your birthday, saki already has an idea for that too! and since he bought all of those presents, hotaru decides to pay for the food and drinks on your birthday!

when your birthday finally comes around, saki calls you the second it turns midnight and wishes you a happy birthday!

hotaru meanwhile waits until she gets to see you in person and hugs you tight, as she wishes you a happy birthday and tells you how happy she is to have you in her life!

hotaru and saki let you decide what to do for your birthday, but they aren't too surprised when you tell them what restaurant you want to go (after all, saki had already narrowed it down to your favorite places, so he knew what to expect)

once at the restaurant, the three of you buy pretty much everything on the menu! hotaru can't pick what to eat and decides that, since it's your special day, you need to try everything and let her spoil you!

after spending quite some time at the restaurant, saki practically begs you to let him take you to a surprise spot he picked!

he won't tell you where it is, but after half an hour of walking, the three of you arrive at a lake, just in time to watch the sunset together!

you sit there for a while, just talking and laughing, until the sun is fully gone

and just when it seems like the day is over, saki and hotaru surprise you with fireworks and sparklers that lighten up the night!
