Titled after the Taylor Swift song! I wouldn't call it a direct word by word inspiration but hopefully l've captured some of that vibe! The concept was in my mind for ages now and my friends encouraged me to post it! Here's for me trying something different!

Reader is implied to know about secret identities but it's not explicit if they are a vigilante themselves

Whenever you received the notification from Jason Todd about getting a group together to enjoy a night out in one of Gotham’s hot spots, you would never believe you’d find yourself facing your ex Roy Harper. Much less sleeping with him again that very same night.

As the both of you made your way among the club in attempts to find a table, the heated and loud atmosphere already drowning all your senses, you decided that you’d make the best out of tonight, it wasn’t often you could plan a get together with a group of vigilantes, not letting your recent break up stop you from having fun or ending up in a strangers bed.

When you settled down inside a small booth Jason began watching whoever came and went, no doubt waiting for the rest of the party to arrive. “So who’d you invite anyway?” You asked between sips of your drink, Jason looked at you startled before regaining composure “Uh you know- common friends, people we both know.”

You suddenly grew suspicious “Jason” you said through gritted teeth “who exactly did you invite tonight?” He knew exactly who you were implying, his face now full of guilt “Listen I invited more than just him, ok? I’ll make sure you won’t be alone with him at any point ton-“

He was suddenly cut off by Kori rushing towards your small booth, Roy right behind her.

“(Y/N)! It’s been so long!” She had you in a tight hug, her inhuman strength undoubtedly crushing your bones “I’m so sorry for how long we took to arrive.” she finally let go of you, moving to sit beside you before anyone else did. You looked up and made eye contact with Roy who gave you a small smile which you didn’t reciprocate.

He looked good despite your circumstances, his fiery red hair nearly brushed clearly putting effort into tonight’s look, though the eye bags under his eyes were more noticeable he looked the same as ever.

As the four of you set down and an awkward silence followed, Jason sensed the tension forming and offered to bring more drinks taking Roy with him, before Kori recounted some of her days event in an attempt to get your mind off of your predicament.

As more of your friends began to arrive you found yourself walking towards the bar opting to use alcohol to drown out the noise, with a fresh drink on your hand you scanned the room and found Roy looking back with an unreadable expression.

Fuck he was handsome, you almost forgot that among all the hatred for him that came about during the fallout of your relationship.

As if he read your mind, he ended his conversation with Jason and made his way towards you sitting on the stool beside yours “Decided to man up and beg for forgiveness, Harper?” The alcohol now having clearly entered your system.

“Nah, still to sober to have you kicking me around in a club.” That earned a laugh from you, you forgot how natural laughing was when you were with him.

“So what did you come over for?” You sighed before looking him in those stupid green eyes of his. He took a moment to answer, looking down at your lips before answering “Would you believe me if I said it was for another drink?” You looked away, simulating being in deep thought.

“Hm nope! But I’ll give you point for trying” He smiled before drinking the last of your drink “Hey!” You giggled before stumbling on to him, getting so impossibly close to his face you could feel his uneven breath, your lips brushing.

You quickly pull away, giving him a once over and noticing the now heavily blush coating his skin making you let out an audible chuckle. You grab your jacket and car keys before turning back to Roy, who was still sitting at the bar looking at you.

“You coming with me or what?”

You didn’t need to tell him twice.

I really wished people started to write more for Wally West and Roy Harper. Roy has a bit more fanfics about him, but most fanfics about these two, people always put Jason (in Roy's) and Dick (in Wally's) and is quite annoying.
