finally here it is!

he regresses usually to ages 10/11-14 typically. he can regress younger but its not often

he tends to be very quiet when little quiet like he's got his mind busy and hes focused however he'll talk and talk when he gets excited and enthusiastic about something

we all know he likes to read but when hes little its the #1 activity for him best way to keep him busy probably better to give him a book with pictures or thats not too hard to read

will fall asleep reading with his glasses on needs to be tucked in for naps and glasses taken off for him

has fallen asleep sitting with trinket loves petting trinket because her fur is soft

will play with his pocket watch a lot shiny pretty thing making nice tik sound

shy about asking for attention will make grabby hand gestures, mumble and whine until he gets cuddles

please take his weapons away when he's little he'll hate it but you gotta keep it out of his reach. no pepperbox and no bad news no matter what he tries dont give in.

subconciously bundles up will snitch someones coat and make himself a lil warm nest to read in probably why he likes sitting with trinket

will build a fort no scanlan allowed.

will play with best buddy grog and pike pike comes up with play date ideas

any questions? ask cass actually one of the best people who knows how to handle him is his sister the party only managed to handle calming him down thanks to her he's happy to see her anytime and loves hanging out with her when little

as long as hes not busy with a task like reading, you can pick him up anytime will lean against you if you sit next to him when hes reading absent mided touch or just general physical affection wont admit it but loves being held

be careful and watch him when he takes naps he does have nightmares and will cry

remind him he cant chew his nails or bite his sleeve need to find him a paci but hes very hesitant to use one.

he does get very pouty and grumpy attention tends to help with that, not upset a lot kind of grumpy but often needs snuggles

keep him in sight at all times hes curious he will wander off and he will get lost

he's still a very responsable little will tidy up and keep things tidy if you drop something he'll tug on your sleeve and put it in your hand or if you trip he'll go "uh oh" and give you hugs so you feel better he's a big brother and he grew up doing that sorta thing for his younger siblings so he'll do it then too

⚙️Loves bath and nap time, specially when there is storytime

💙Prefers calmer, less messy activities and puzzles

⚙️Oh he is definitely so clingy, due to how young he is and feels scared to be left alone

💙He can be quite bratty or grumpy if he is feeling fussy!

⚙️A big “mama’s boy” loves being next to Vex or Pike doing whatever

💙Loves routine, sometimes will take things a bit too literally and don’t understand, for example, why Vex isn’t awake at 5am if she said they would go to the park in the early morning

I don’t think Percy and Cassandra have to be tories as they’re lords mostly because a) I don’t want them to be because ew b) they deffo could be that well educated set of people who have read a lot of theory about politics and believe they know best, and think of reformist policies that would benefit society, but have problems actually applying it to working people in the ways more mainstream populist ppl would. Percy just wants to be an engineer or scientist but Cass actually cares you know.

Also I think if Whitestone does go with prison reform then Percy is canonically too reformist to be a Tory so it’s #canon

Hi anon!

I do as well! Full disclaimer: I am autistic, my brother is autistic and has ADHD, and our father is probably on the spectrum as well but in vehement denial. However, I got Very Good at masking, to the point I rarely unmask and spend all my energy dealing with Social Bullshit, while my brother is... idk, super charismatic in social settings, somehow, but a nightmare with Tasks and Sensory Hell. So I usually project autism onto characters given my lived experience, but can 100% see how he has ADHD vibes as well! I think neurodivergent rep is very important, and it's great that we can see ourselves in these characters <3

I will repeat this a lot, but Percy has also undergone a fuckton of trauma. A lot of his traits that remind me of myself could be due to PTSD. His panic attacks, for instance, are things I'd slot more with PTSD, personally. You can read his character different ways (I read him as having both), and that's good on you. However, I am autistic and I like projecting My Me onto the blorbo so that's what you get.

A couple of things stand out to me:

The whole Feywild thing reminds me of a special interest. Less so in the campaign, but given how they play it up in TLOVM I really suspect it's the case. Clockmaking also seems like the sort of very specific, detailed work that'd make my brain go brrr if it was my thing, so? Is that anything?

A lot of how he is described (by himself or by Tal) pre-Briarwoods could align with a little introvert noble with no social skills and a whole fuckton of arrogance, but it also aligns nicely with an autistic kid.

Just. how many times Cass has to imply 'percy I can't handle Whitestone alone' before he gets the memo. is insane. it's either 'his autistic ass isn't getting what she's trying to say' or 'percy stop being a dick and help your sister out you KNOW what she's asking'. either way works for me! But I'd like to hope he's not intentionally shoving responsibility on his little sister and use that as an excuse.

We don't know if he had issues being touched prior to being tortured ("We didn't touch in my family"), and the trauma of what Ripley did to him could 110% account for that! But I like to slot it away into my 'on the spectrum' vibes box.

Layers. Layers. Layers! Again, another potential covariate with the fact he's a poncy noble, and has a vested interest in hiding his scars, but I am Particular about what touches my skin at a given time. I like long sleeves and pants and gloves because then it's always the same sensory things on me and not changing.

Just how slow he is to court Vex. Because maybe he's reading the social cues wrong, and he has to be Obvious about his interest too, and becomes a fancy bird giving gifts because that's the best way he can think of supporting her and expressing interest while figuring out whatever the fuck this Attraction thing is.

Perhaps just a Tal thing (I see it with Ashton too, or I did when going over the Laudna n Ashton convo with a fine toothed comb the other day), but how much he fidgets when talking. Constantly moving.

His entire friendship with Keyleth is very autism vibes. Could purely be coming form her, or shared, who knows! (I am a huge supporter of autistic Keyleth, here n there I'll sneak in a line about her stimming <3)

Might just be a Me thing, but how he turns to Vex when he's feeling big emotions and doesn't trust himself to handle them. What the fuck are these, I think this impulse to lash out at Scanlan is probably bad, dear please keep me from doing anything stupid.

Also it's very funny for me to do the 'me and the bad bitch I pulled being autistic' meme with him and Vex ngkntrjnhrt

• I genuinely cannot pick who would be who so I will say that they get inspired by eachother pretty often:) they are best friends but fundamentally opposites and that can spark a lot of creativity between them!

• Keyleth specializes in watercolor but likes to add the touch or dried flower petals and plants pressed onto the paper. Soon after they first met Keyleth made a portrait of Percy with said paint and petals and used an arrangement of yellows and light blues, and it was just, the brightest and most lively rendition Percy has ever seen of himself.

• I think for Percy he either composes music, or sculpts, I am indecisive so you will get hcs for both 🙃 For him being a composer, I can see him specifically being a pianist, and as a memorial piece gently asking for her help to compose a few bars about how it feels to lose your mother when growing up (something similar to Mothers Love by The Vernon Spring)

• As for a the sculpting, we all know he's good with his hands (lol) precision and detail are very important to him, a lot his pieces are additive sculptures, but one time after hearing Keyleth describe what Zephrah is like, he made a relief sculpture of the towering cherry blossom trees.

Percy could hear her cries before he saw it. The unmistakable pitch of arrows whirring through the air and the sound of the tip embedding itself into supple flesh.

--- It was a simple mission. Well, it should have been. Get in, take the loot, and get out. The dignified gunslinger cringed at the numerous alternative routes that could've been solved diplomatically. But when running with a rather... eccentric group like Vox Machina, you could kiss those hopes goodbye.

"I can handle myself, darling," Vex assured with an amorous wink, leaping over the fragmented table into the heat of battle.

The arrowhead whipped past Percy; grasping his glasses he could make out the quivers that lodged into the splintered wood, followed by Grog's signature hearty laugh. Percy couldn't help rolling his eyes, yet discarding the immediate thought in place of scouting his surroundings. A few rogues were scattered aimlessly across the tavern's enviornment, their scrappy hoods dimly lit by the orange glow of the overhead chandelier. Vox Machina had already taken their place in the scuffle, too caught up in the fun to notice who they left behind. Percy leaned his body against the underside of the table, the barrel of his pistol resting against the bridge of his nose and forehead. He inhaled its sharp metallic scent and his shoulders relaxed at the feeling of the grip that fit perfectly inside the crook of his hand. Just three well-placed shots, and this mission can be done with. Percy froze to the resounding force of Vex'halia's cry, his head whirling in her direction. Her body crumpled to the floor, and she called her brother's name with an anguished screech. Gargled phrases unwound from her blood-stained lips. Vex could feel her lungs burn with each exhale, and she clawed at her throat for breath.

There were very few ways that Percival de Rolo could shed his gentleman's demeanor. He was a mental fortress, priding himself for his level-headedness despite the most dire circumstances. But today, the helplessness within Vex's cries had unraveled it without a second thought, and the bird-like mask was set to disguise the gunslinger's snarling grimace.

"You will tell me what you've done to her." Percy shot through the opposing group indiscriminately, each burst of shrapnel sparking bursts of light that contrasted the dense pitch-black smoke. --- Pike released the spellcasting symbol with a sigh of relief in a mutter of thanks to her goddess. "Thank the Everlight you're okay Vex, I thought we'd lost you." The frost-haired gnome assisted her companion to an upright resting position in the cozy confines of the ranger's bed. Pike's eyes scanned for any negative effects of the spell. "I've been through worse, dear." Vex would jest, yet, she remained grateful to the cleric for each breath that filled her lungs. "Though, I'd love to get some rest and forget about the whole ordeal."

Immediately, Vex'ahlia was bombarded with the overwhelming weight and size of an armored brown bear that collided with her chest. Trinket, her loyal companion, nudged his snout into the soft flesh of his owner's face and aggressively lapped at her tear-stained cheeks. "I missed you too, darling."

Pike excused herself from the room, promptly ordering Vex to remain in bed to which the half-elf would return a reassuring nod. Despite his owner's poised and confident demeanor, Trinket could feel the rapid beating of the ranger's heart and the sweat of her palms as they combed at an irregular pace through his thick coat.

Vex was no stranger to the feelings of nervousness and overall anxiety, but this was unlike anything she had ever experienced. She couldn't shake the feeling that someone was hiding in the darkest corners of her room, waiting to pounce at her without a moment's notice. Someone was going to get her.

The walls of the room began to close in around her, blood pounding in her ears. Her heart beat so loudly that she couldn't stop her hands from shaking. She fumbled out of bed, tumbling to the floor with Trinket grunting and groaning at her every move. She wanted- no, needed to get out of there. Breathing was hard now. So very hard. She could feel her knees being brought up to her chest, wrapping her trembling arms around with as much strength as she could muster. Percy? Where is he? He's not here, he left. Vax? Where is Vax'ildan? No, he's gone as well.

"...Mother?" Vex'ahlia whined after a long-forgotten title that would never come to her aid. Vex repeated the phrase endlessly, each attempt more strenuous than the next to remain coherent. "Mama! Mama, please... come back. I need you." Choking on the air around her was the feeling she hated the most when she cried. And, through murky eyes, the room had felt enormous around her shaking frame, the walls looming over her. "...Vex'ahlia? Are you alright?" Percival's voice echoed through the darkness, blanketing the terrified woman before him. He had found her curled in a tight ball sobbing into the floorboard, and his body moved without another thought to be next to her side.

Vex yelped, quickly grasping her bow, with the intensity of her breathing evident as heavy gasps replaced the beat of each phrase. She didn't want him here. She didn't want him to see her like this. So.. weak. "Just- leave me alone, Percy. I don't know what's going on."

"I'm not going anywhere," Percy shook his head, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Look, you’re shaking." he dropped to a knee to take her hand in his, the rough texture of his leather gloves helped to bring her senses to the present. The only thing that Vex could see was icy silver staring deep into her haunted gaze. "I promise you're safe here to rest your mind. Trinket and I are the only ones in the room." Vex could feel the intensity of his grip as he held her, as if at that moment nothing in the world could ever give him reason to let go.

"Relax, my love. I'm here, and I'll be taking care of you," He pulled his body closer to hers, enough to feel the graze of her breath against his cheek. "Take slow, deep breaths. No one will ever hurt you here. Everything is okay. You can let go." His encouragement alone had been the trigger that eased Vex into releasing her inhibitions. The large room around her dissolved, bit by bit, of its intimidating structure. To the young half-elf, her surroundings melded into a barrier, shielding her from the dangerous world beyond in the security of his arms. Tears littered Percy's coat with brief apologies for her current state. Her pleas were met with hushed words of reassurance and soft, gentle touches against her cheek that were followed by light brushing motions through her hair. "You were so brave today, you know that? You were just amazing, and I'm so proud of you." Percy wiped each tear that fell from the ends of her eyes, his gaze softening. Vex would not respond, only nuzzling closer into his chest to feel his heartbeat. "It's alright. Just nod yes or no, you don't need to speak."

Nodding, Vex squeezed his hand tighter, allowing her trust in him to overcome her need to perform. Percy traced his fingers down the bridge of her nose, tapping it lightly with a soft blow of air to her tired eyes. "Your heart is pounding through your chest. Close your eyes and just focus on me, alright?" She would follow his direction, shutting her eyes to feel the sensations of his touch.

Percy sunk himself further into the pillows with a yawn, a satisfied grin crept at the edges of his lips at her tranquil expression. "Try to rest. You’re safe, and I'll be here for as long as you require."

Vexh'alia could feel herself shrink and shrink and shrink until she was entranced in the moment. She yawned, curling into Percy's frame as Trinket lay still on the floor beside them. Despite her initial resentment of this feeling, it was soft, and she was safe. She didn't need to be strong, she just needed to be whatever she was now. And, as long as Percy didn't condemn her for holding onto this feeling for a few moments more, then maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.

i am describing percy's sensory issues in a post & i just

the silk sheets they had on his bed conjured a terrible taste in percy's mouth. the texture made it feel as though his teeth were too close together, fusing into one uncomfortable block. in theory, the fabric should have been fine, a testament of wealth. but wealth did not equate comfort & thus he was quick to discard them.

you for whichever reason are touch starved, maybe youre a physically affectionate person by nature and didnt get that growing up but either way you crave physical touch a lot

percy on the other hand doesnt, not that he doesnt like physical touch, he just doesnt crave it like you do he'll initiate things, like putting a hand on someone's shoulder etc, he doesnt shy from touch so he has no issue with a partner who is physically affectionate

he'll likely do something casual like hold your hand while youre walking and you being touch starved, you melt right into him, leaning on him if you can.

he'll notice the change and ask if youre alright but wont make a big deal out of it he doesnt mind if you feel the need to lean on him for support or just want to be a little more affectionate than holding hands

but if you ask him for more affection, like ask him for a kiss he'll give you a quick kiss in the cheek, temple or forehead and keep going doesnt quite understand that youre touch starved

he's not exactly shy from pda, but he is a more private person and would rather give you more affection and touch when youre alone but he'll still give you plenty of little touches throughout the day/in public

when he catches on that youre touch starved he has no problem making sure you always get enough touch when you need it hugs, kisses, letting you lean on him whatever you'd like hes happy to show you how much he loves you

hes very sweet with it, he'll try to be subtle about it but he's really not everyone can see how affectionate you guys are and scanlan will make suggestive jokes about it

he loves giving you the little touches through the day though a hand on your shoulder or hand in yours a quick kiss a hand on the side of your face when hes making sure youre okay he doesnt realize it but he finds it very comforting too

at the end of the day he will be very happy to let you cuddle up to him wrap his arms around you and have you lay your head on his chest if its been a bad day and you dont mind it he'll lay his head on your chest instead

you both find touch reassuring and comforting it just doesnt bother him if he doesnt get too much touch for a while he will miss your touch after a while but he's happy with giving you a kiss or hug then he's fine he knows its not the same for you though and he's fine giving you as much touch as you need when he can

if you get split up for a while and finally reunite and have a minute he'll open his arms and/or pull you in close and hold you maybe take a sec or two to kiss you but is very happy to just hold you and make sure youre okay now that you have a minute

if he gets overwhelmed by the touch he'll ask carefully for a bit of space for a bit will still want you nearby or needs to know where you'll be but he will need a bit to just not be touched doesnt mind if you hold his hand he'll just ask you not to hug him for a bit. it doesnt last the whole day, when he's overwhelmed by touch he just needs a breather might be a bit too much going on and needs a little walk or fresh air so he can process but its all fine

over all he'd be happy showing you plenty of physical affection in his own way its a win win, he can be physically affectionate and youre touch starved he loves spoiling his partner and showing how much he cares and loves that you trust his touch and you melt into him when he gives it to you

expect a lot of teasing from the party for a while until your affectionate relationship becomes just apart of things they will tease and joke for a while they mean well though, they'll tell you guys how cute it is
