Telegraph Road 1977 & 2024 - Lando Norris
SUMMARY: For Lando, the words "first love" just make him think of his childhood neighbour. Then, his heart breaks a little when he remembers she's somewhere in San Francisco. How surprised he is when it turns out you're much closer - in an apartment across the hall. Lando couldn't be more grateful for the strange mysteries that led you to this doorway.
WC: 983
Everybody has those moments when they are suddenly reminded of someone they knew long ago. Old classmates, kids from summer camp, playground friends – people who once were part of your daily life but now you think about them maybe once a year if not less often. Those silent questions of “I wonder what happened to them?” come and go just as quickly, like a golden brown leaf carried by the wild, autumn wind.
Lando is something of an exception to that rule. The thoughts of his old neighbour never quite leave him, as though his autumn is more of a perpetuity than a season. Despite the passage of time, that curious quirk of his stuck. However, the why has changed. While still a child, he’d ponder the memories of you simply out of longing. It is only natural when one’s closest companion is gone one day. Then, as his young heart began revolving around crushes, dates and girlfriends, Lando suffered an epiphany. Finally, he understands! It was as if on some random Tuesday lightning had struck him – it was love he felt for you, not just friendship. And what a tale of one’s first love it told! “We were inseparable, soulmates, if you will, when one day she moved away and I never heard from her again.” Truly, a drama worth a thousand novels.
Little does he know, that those strange mysteries that separate lovers, sometimes lead them to each other’s doorways…
Lando is closing his front door, when the sound of paws tapping the floor grabs his attention. Without much thought, he looks down the corridor.
The tapping belongs to a rather happy-looking Scottish setter. He recognizes the breed only because he’s spent his childhood running around a small British town with you and two of those dogs. Despite the lingering memories of the past, Lando doesn’t mind the pet any longer, again focusing on his own things. Then, a strangely familiar voice distracts him again:
“Come on, Axel! We’ll have plenty of time to make friends later.”
Almost giving himself whiplash, Lando looks for the source of the sound. Could it be…?
You’re a little surprised when you hear someone calling out your name in a questioning manner. As far as you know, none of your friends live in Monaco. So how come someone here knows you? Fixing your grip on the box labelled Kitchen, you take a look around the corridor.
For a moment, you think you’re just seeing things. But you’ve stared at that face for so long, you could recognize him in the darkest, most inexplicable fever dream; the face that you’ve associated with home for your whole life.
“Oh my God, Lando Norris!” you exclaim between chuckles. “I can’t believe it!”
His cheeks redden a little. “You remember me?” The question has a distinct tone of surprise.
“Of course I do! You were my best friend,” you say. “Well, the only friend for a few years,” you add, your voice noticeably quieter than before.
“What are you doing here? I thought your family moved to San Francisco.”
It is only then that Lando truly sees who you’ve become throughout all those years away. Perhaps you are more beautiful than he could imagine but you’re also much sadder. There’s a wistful look in your eye, a tell-tale sign of maturity that is only born out of tears. He can only wonder what pains have brought you back to him.
“At first, it was San Francisco, then New York, Chicago, L.A… I never fit in anywhere. They’re all very lonely cities, you know?” Just for a second, your eyes become glossy. His heart feels a painful sting that only gets worse as you force a wide smile on your face. You’ve had practice in faking happiness, haven’t you? “But enough about me, it’s not that interesting,” you say in a casual tone. “Congratulations on your driving career. Seriously, you’re amazing. Would it be creepy if I admitted now that I’ve watched every single one of your races?”
“Not as creepy as admitting I’ve stalked your social media and never followed you because I thought you don’t remember me.”
“Are you dead serious right now?” Lando’s sheepish smile earns a loud laugh from you. “You should have tried anyway!”
“Funny that you’re the one to say that,” he retorts. “Why didn’t you message me if you’re such a big fan?”
Flustered, you look away for a moment. “Honestly, I thought it would be weird,” you confess. “I was sure you’d forgotten all about me and pulling this ‘we were childhood friends’ schtick now that you’re famous would be so embarrassing. You’re this top-of-the-top racing driver and I’m, well, me.” A bitter chuckle comes after your words but the faux amusement isn’t enough to fool Lando.
“You’re staying for long in Monaco?” His question is accompanied by a light gesture towards the box in your arms.
“As long as they don’t fire me, I guess.” That strange, sad laughter again. “Listen, you look like you have somewhere to be and I’ve already taken up too much of your time. You could come by in the evening, catch up if you want?” Your tone rises, revealing uncertainty about whether the invitation is welcome.
But to him, the answer is obvious. “I’d love that.”
You give him one last smile, then disappear behind the door to your apartment.
In some sense, he has you back. Not the girl he remembers, no. Something innate seems to be gone from your soul but Lando lacks the words to name the change. The sights, the loves, the pains – whatever it was that took your life on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, it sprouted melancholy in the very marrows of your bones.
“What happened to you?” he whispers to himself.
The only answer that comes is muffled footsteps and the shuffling of cardboard boxes.

Part 7: The Shadows Sing
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 8
You were drowning. You felt your hands and foot freeze as you sunk further down into the lake.
You were too weak, so you let your shadows out.
Not even seconds later, they had shadow walked you out of the lake.
However, in front of you wasn’t the beautiful hazel eyes you’d learn to adore, it was Amaranth’s black eyes staring into your soul.
“We’ve got you now. You can’t get away.”
It was Amarantha that was speaking, but the voice was Adrian’s. The illyrian that took your wings.
“I see you’re a shadowsinger,” the voice continued. “We could use one of you on our team.”
You were dying.
“Please don’t run away,” Azriel said the second you opened your eyes. “You need to rest, you have a fever.”
You sat up in your bed and looked around. You were home and safe. The fire was going.
You noticed the presence of your shadows and immediately hid them away.
You felt warm. Not only from the fire, but from the presence of the illyran male that sat before you. You hated to admit it, but you couldn’t hold it back any longer. You didn’t want to run away from him.
Azriel slowly walked towards you with your mug in his hands. You had made it yourself out of tree.
He handed you the mug and you looked down at the content. You had no idea what it was, but it smelled delicious.
“It’s hot chocolate,” Azriel said before you could question him. “It’s chocolate melted and mixed with milk. Remember to blow on it, it’s hot.”
You nodded and did as he said. It was so good, you felt like you were in heaven.
“Where did you get milk?” You asked him.
Milk was something you’d never have money for. Oat milk you were sometimes able to buy, but never cow milk.
“My shadows got it from Velaris,” he answered.
“Velaris?” You asked him. “Is that a store?”
You had never heard about that, but the name told you it was beautiful.
“It’s a city in the Night Court,” Azriel answered. “I live there.”
You thought back to your time in the Night Court. You were always told the court didn’t have any cities other than Hewn City. You’ve never heard about Velaris.
“It had been a secret for over 5000 years,” Azriel explained. He must have seen your confusion. “It only got revealed during the war against Hybern.”
You tried to imagine what your life had been like if you’d live in a city. If you’d know about a city, you could have escaped the war camp easier and probably hidden well enough to not get caught.
“Many other illyrans still does know about it. That’s probably why you don’t know about it either,” Azriel continued hesitantly. “I talked to Rhys.”
You couldn’t stop yourself as you whipped your head towards Azriel.
“Rhys?” You asked him. “Rhys as in Rhysand as in the High Lord of the Night Court, Rhys?”
He only nodded.
“I’m his spymaster,” Azriel told you.
You immediately stood up from your bed. Your now empty mug fell to the floor.
“Why does he want to spy on me? I haven’t done anything wrong. I would’ve died if I didn’t do that I did. I’m not going back.” You rambled.
Azriel stood from your chair and took a step towards you. His arms were lifted, it was like he wanted to hold you, but he soon lowered them again.
“I didn’t mean it like that,” he said. “I’m not here to spy on you. Definitely not here because Rhys said so. I’m here because I’m curious about you. I’m also here because I realized I like talking to you. No other reasons.”
It didn’t calm you down. You felt so vulnerable.
You’d let a spy into your home. Not only a spy, but an illyrian spy.
You can’t believe you thought of him as safe.
“You’ve used your five minutes,” you replied with a shaky voice. “The bargain was that you’d leave me alone after the five minutes.”
His eyes widened a little as he shock his head.
“The bargain was that I’d leave you after five minutes of questioning if you told me to leave,” Azriel told you and moved towards you. He lifted his arms again, but this time he put them on your arms. You loved the feeling. One simple touch from him made your anxiety disappear. “Tell me to leave, and I’ll leave.”
You looked deep into his hazel eyes. You didn’t want him to leave. You wanted him to stay. For him to continue holding you.
“I…,” you started, but had to stop.
You heard him draw a sharp breath and felt his shadows in your hair. They then moved to caress your cheeks.
You felt worry spreading through your body. You didn’t understand why, it’s not like he would reject your request for him to stay. He literally just told you he wanted to stay.
That’s when you realized, you felt his emotions. You’d been feeling them ever since the bond snapped for you, but it felt so much stronger.
You realized his grip on your arms had tightened, not in a dangerous manner, but in a protective one.
“It snapped for you too?” You asked him before you even thought about it.
He just nodded as his eyes grew in size.
You almost laughed.
“I don’t want you to leave,” you told him. Knowing he felt as nervous as you did made you confident.
“Then I won’t leave,” he answered determinedly.
“Good,” you said. “I’m going to sleep.”
He let out a small laugh.
You’d slept through the night and woke up to a ready breakfast. You didn’t talk much while eating, you only focused on savoring the taste. You loved the feeling of being full.
“What happened yesterday?” Azriel asked you when you’d both finished eating.
You thought for a second. You felt so embarrassed. You didn’t want him to look at you as weak.
“There are a pair of twins in my hunting group,” you started to explain. “They’re the best of all of us.” You had to draw a breath before you continued. “They thought it funny to pull my prosthetic from my foot and throw it out onto the ice. I had to crawl out to get it and fell through the ice.”
You could see the anger spreading through Azriel’s entire body.
“How did you get out?”
“I waited for them to leave and shadow walked out of the lake,” you explained. “They didn’t want to help me further.”
Azriel tucked his wings back as he thought. He pushed his shoulders back.
“I want to train you,” he explained. “Both in combat and how to control your shadows.”
You didn’t hesitate as you agreed to take his training.
“Balance is the most important part of fighting, both with and without shadows,” Azriel explained to you.
It had been a week since the lake incident and your fever was long gone.
Azriel had met you twice during the week and finally agreed that you were healthy enough for training. What he didn’t know was that you’d been out hunting every day this week and had been categorizing yourself as healthy all along.
The two of you can found a clearing far away from anyone you knew and decided it would be your training spot.
Azriel had his shadows in every direction, so that you would know if anyone got close to where you were.
“We start with your right foot,” Azriel told you next. “You’ll need to balance and I’ll poke you with this stick trying to make you unbalanced. Got it?”
You nodded as you lifted your left foot off the ground.
“Do you always carry all your weight on your right foot when you stand?” Azriel asked you.
You were about to answer him when he poked you with the stick. You used all the strength you had, but managed to stay upright.
“Yes,” you answered him.
“We’ll have to change that,” he explained. “It’s a weakness that’s easy to notice.”
You knew he meant well, but you didn’t like that he talked about your weaknesses. You’d spent your entire life trying to hide your weaknesses and Azriel picked up on the weakest one within minutes of you two training.
You were soon pulled out of your thoughts when the male poked you again with his stick. This time, you didn’t do so well.
You lost balance completely and you were about to step down on your prosthetic leg, when you were covered in shadows.
Not yours, they would never help you like that, but Azriel’s. They felt a lot cooler than yours, but they were careful around you.
They helped you regain your balance and soon you stood still on your right foot once more.
“Our goals is for you to use your own shadows to stabilize you if you loose balance,” Azriel told you. “Just like my shadows just did. That way, we can practice both balance and shadow control at the same time.”
You nodded at him, but you felt like the task would be way too hard. Your shadows never listened to you other than shadow walking. They never liked to take directions from you.
Azriel looked like he was waiting for you and you realized he wanted you to let your shadows loose.
It felt extremely unnatural to let someone else see your shadows, but your shadows were ecstatic.
“Yayyyyy.”
“Friends!!!”
“Mate!”
“Safe!”
They immediately surrounded Azriel and both yours and his shadows started to dance together in the wind.
You liked to see them this happy. Usually they hid away and moved around slowly. You often thought of them as moody teenagers.
“You’re ready?” Azriel asked.
You were still standing on your right foot as Azriel did his best to get you unbalanced.
“Try to get them to help you,” he instructed you.
You drew a big breath and tried to lighten the tone of your voice.
“Can you help me stay balanced?” You asked your shadows. “Please?”
They reacted worse than you expected.
One second they were dancing around with their friends and the next one, they had pushed you so that you ended up on the ground.
You felt your cheeks getting red. You felt so embarrassed you couldn’t control the shadows that were a part of you.
You looked up to Azriel. He stood and held out a hand to help you up. You looked past his hand and glared at him. He wore a smug smile.
“Are you laughing at me?” You asked him. You were pretending to be annoyed, but you couldn’t lie, you’d never be annoyed at him for this.
He shrugged as he helped you stand.
“We’ll change to the other side, okay?”
You moved your weight over to your prosthetic and lifted your right leg off the ground.
“Ready?”
You nodded. You were struggling, so you spent all your energy staying balanced and had no energy left to answer him with words.
Azriel poked you with the stick and you immediately lost balance. You had to set down your right foot and you then spent a few moments before you managed to balance on your prosthetic once more.
You had a long way to go.
Azriel had left after your training session. He gave to you tasks before he left. First one was to practice balance on both your foot and prosthetic. The second one was to become friends with your shadows.
“They’re your companions,” he had said. “You’re supposed to help each other.”
So you decided that for them to be your friends, you had to make them happy. And your shadows loved two things more than everything else. They loved to be out in fresh air and they loved to bother you.
So your daily routine the last week had been you and your shadows, practicing balancing in the clearing you and Azriel had found. You would balance and they would try to overturn you. They were very rough against you, so you fell more times than you should in the beginning. However, your shadows have never been happier.
Throughout the next few weeks you would, after advice from Azriel, let your shadows roam free also when you weren’t with him. You would leave them at home if you left the house to meet with Master Raven and the rest of your hunting team, but you’d bring one that would cling to your tight the entire time.
If you went hunting, they would come with you. They would keep their distance, hiding behind trees or in bushes, but again one of them would always stay close to you.
After a while, they started to argue about who’d stay with you and who’d be on their own. The luckiest one was the one that was allowed to be with you on your adventures.
“My turn!”
“No, my turn!”
“You went last time!”
You learned to know the difference between the shadows and had different inside jokes with all of them.
They finally had become what Azriel had described them as: your companions, your friends.
As winter turned to spring and the nature begun to bloom, so did the relationship between you and your shadows.
However, also the relationship between you and Azriel had bloomed a little.
Not a lot, you were nowhere near accepting the mating bond, but you’d become friends at least. You’d start every training session by talking about what had happened since last.
You’d learn about his family, he’d learn about the people in your hunting group.
You’d told him nothing about why you were hunting or how you ended up in The Middle and he told you nothing about what he was working on. You had a mutual understanding that you both needed time before you could talk about that.
You one thing you knew for sure, you’d never been happier.

Missed You | Female reader x Caitlin Clark
Summary: Caitlin has gotten drafted to the WNBA and it feels like you haven’t seen her in ages. Little do you know, she has a surprise.
Part 1
It’s been 3 weeks since Caitlin got drafted to Indiana Fever. and it feels like i haven’t seen her in ages. Interviews, training camps, tv shows had all taken over my girlfriend.
“I miss you so much, baby” Caitlin says over facetime, her voice raspy. “I miss you too, cait.” I reply, pulling the blank over me. “How’d training camp go?” I ask, turning the brightness up on my computer.
“Ehh. I mean it went well, i’ve adapted to the team and shit. They treat me amazing but i dunno. Y’know. Being a rookie and all it’s.. i dunno. unreal almost.” She says. “I get you, baby. It’s okay. You weren’t the number 1 pick in the draft for nothing.” I reply, reassuring her.
“yeah. So what are you doing right now, hm?” She asks, pulling her phone up. “Just talking to you. It’s been so boring without you. I miss you a lot. My mom says i’m acting depressed without you.” I chuckle. “I miss you a lot too, princess. You don’t know how many times i’ve cried because you weren’t at my first day of training camp.” She replies.
“Vannessa!” I hear from downstairs. “Hold on, cait, my mom is calling me.” I say. “Okay” She replies, going on her phone. “Yes?” I yell to her. “Do you know where my red lipstick is?” She says, walking into my room. “Hi, mrs. Katz” Caitlin yells through the facetime call.
“Hey, cait! everything good down there?” My mom replies, peeking her head at my laptop. “Yup.” Caitlin says. “That’s good. Nessa, hunny, have you seen my red lipstick? i’m going out with your dad.” She asks. “Uhm last time i checked it was in the bathroom, in your makeup drawer.” I say to her as she nods and walks out.
“Princess, it’s getting late, i have to go to sleep. We can sleep on the phone of you want.” Caitlin says. “Okay. let’s sleep on the phone, i’ll mute myself to not wake you.” I reply. “Okay. Goodnight, I love you, baby” She says. “Goodnight, love you too.” I say, blowing her a kiss through the phone and muting it.
•
The last couple of days me and Caitlin have been facetiming less and less. It’s killing me inside. I miss her face. I miss her laugh. I moss the way she calls me princess. I miss her.
‘Open the door’ Caitlin texts me. ‘??’ I reply. ‘open the door, will you, ma? it’s cold as shit out here.’ She texts back.
I immediately hop out of my bed and sprint down the stairs running to the door. Sure enough, Caitlin is standing there. Bags in her hand, A black Nike tech on with White Air forces.
“caitlin!” I scream as i jump onto her, making her drop her begs. “I missed you so much.” I say, tearing up. My mom runs down the stairs to see the commotion and she sees me and cait.
I hop down and try to hide that i’m crying, but it’s clear as day. “Baby, are you crying?” Caitlin asks, laughing a little. I nod as i tear up way more. “I just missed you so much.” I say as i hug her again. She walks into my house and says hi to my brother, dad, and mom and we go upstairs to my room.
I sit down on her lap as i hug her more. “Baby, i missed you so much.” I say into her shoulder. “I’m gonna be here for a week.” She says into my ear. “Really?!” I yell out in excitement. She nods at me and i hug her again.
“We’re gonna have the best week ever.” I say into her shoulder. Fuck, I missed her scent. She was really gonna be here for a week.
•
It’s currently 10:47 pm and me and caitlin are watching a movie. I’m laying on top of her, my head on her chest and legs over hers, her hand rubbing circles on my upper thigh. she plants a small kiss on my forehead and i feel her phone buzz.
A group chat titled ‘Indiana fever’ texts her. “It’s the team group chat” She says. I hum and go back to watching the movie. “Why didn’t you stay at your dorm?” She asks, stroking my hair.
I shrug my shoulders in response. “I wanted to come home.” I say. She nods and kisses my forehead. “Baby” I say, turning to face her. “huh?” She replies. I say nothing and just kiss her.
By the second, the kiss got sloppier and sloppier. Her hands slipping up my shirt, rubbing my back. I sit up on top of her, still kissing me.
I pulled my shirt off as well as hers, knowing exactly what i was doing. god i missed this.

i've received this ff request but since tumblr deleted it i wasn't able to answer directly to the person who sent it :,)
anyway, here's the ff!
needy y/n, overstimulation, hand-relief, self-stimulation, paul's dirty vision, 18+
&. PAUL ATREIDES x yn.
technically speaking you and paul were engaged.
it was he who declared himself, on the highest dune that could be glimpsed from your fremen camp.
that day the air was pleasant and the sand hardly rose.
you were immersed in a light conversation, which ended with paul meticulously explaining to you how his life was on caladan, his home planet.
life there sounded perfect the way the words slipped out of his perfect lips lightly coated with a few grains of melange spice.
you asked aloud what the sea was like, or rather, what it was.
on arrakis water was way more precious than spice, to stilgar and your people, and you couldn't imagine having an expanse of water (even salty) before your eyes.
paul noticed your incredulous expression and the way you raised your eyebrows and soft giggle left his lips.
looking at you again, he promised that he would take you to bathe in the sea, when political and war affairs would be over and he would finally bring the 'green paradise' written in the prophecy.
however, it wasn't the most romantic and exciting proposal that tickled his mind that day, even if it moved you anyway, because paul...well, he proposed more intimate things than a swim in the sea that evening.
that night you lost your virginity, and even though you were sure it was the same for him too, you didn't ask.
from the memory of that evening, bathed in your liquids and covered in sweet spice, paul's body never left your mind.
never.
in fact it was real torture when stilgar kept him for training or jessica took him out of your sight to talk about family or personal things.
one way or another, you and paul never had another chance to get back as close as the first evening, and it burned your gastric juices.
his mind was like war-set, and you didn't know if he could have time to satisfy your needs.
that evening you could still hear paul handling with his cryss, outside, probably with his skin shiny with sweat and his curls stuck to his forehead.
you coul hear his fighting movements, his labored breathing, and your mind could even see his hands shaking with adrenaline and his veins pumping.
that dirty thought got you soaked without even noticing.
now it was your breathing that stopped, and the only thing you wanted was for paul to enter the tent and touch you as only he did, and as only he had stopped (due to commitments) from doing...
the knot in the intestine wouldn't go away and the temperature seemed like a thermometer about to explode...
maybe you had a fever, maybe it was the effect it had on you.
he had on you.
you tried to make time fly by as much as possible, waiting for paul to get back to the tent, even though he would be too tired for any unhealthy plan you might have running through your gut.
your hands started to shake and a wave of tingles sucked you in
you felt the heat of your skin, even more accentuated by the fact that paul could return at any moment; a fire so hot that it only excited you terribly.
an unhealthy idea, in fact, took place in your mind and your hands began to move and travel across your body.
your breathing started to get heavy at the idea that paul could touch you like that. because you knew he could.
yes.
you dragged your own hands over your skin, starting with your neck and then in circular motions over your breasts before lingering on your belly.
the rhythm of your fingers becomes irregular and with the other hand you started making circular movements on the clitoris, now nothing but moans and incoherent words come out of your mouth.
you wanted paul.
your body felt the keen need to be touched by him, only by him.
you tried to push your fingers a little further in but you felt too close that you couldn't hide the desire to come thinking about how he would touch you.
you tried to regain some sanity when two strong hands pinned you even tighter against the carpet of the tent.
"were you practicing without me?"
his voice was incredibly hoarse and forced, perhaps due to training.
you couldn't tell if there was a smile or a threatening expression on his lips, by now your mouth was open, your head tilted back slightly and your fingers still down there.
you gave him a quick glance.
you were shocked, terrified and mesmerized.
those warm words wrapped in the smell of sweat, spice and vanilla from him made you tremble from head to toe...
a small laugh hit your ears, making you jump, and paul's hands grazed your arms, your hips, your chest, your breasts.
"really? touching yourself in the tent? without me? man, you must be so soaked..."
now his gaze was locked on your fingers still there.
fuck.
he moved the blanket and gently took them, putting them in his mouth and tasting your juices.
you moaned at his gesture, trying to look away but you were already too sensitive that you threw your head back again.
paul's lips passed over the tense skin of your neck, traveling along the jugular that was pumping like a madman, before stopping on your ear and blowing on it.
"why don't we get this done, hm? it would be a waste...and i need you, y/n" he hinted at an amused grin.
you could hear he was deadly needy.
you loved it.
"god y/n...i beg you, touch yourself again."
this was really unexpected from paul.
your eyes widened, but his intentions were real.
you then adjusted your position and you could feel the grin return to his face as your movements resumed slow, in and out, but now they were picking up the pace faster as at the sight of your boyfriend the excitement only accelerated in you.
you moaned his name, helpless to do anything else.
you pushed two fingers inside again, you couldn't take it anymore...
you needed him.
now.
“hell the sounds you make…are you close, y/n?”
you nodded slightly and he grinned proudly.
he got even closer and your heartbeat accelerated dramatically.
you had a machine gun instead of a heart.
hopelessly you instinctively clung to his shoulders, to his muscular neck, as his hands ran up your thighs.
his deep eyes stared at you and instead of being intimidated you felt hypnotized.
two fingers slipped inside your mouth, inviting it to open.
and you, victim of his beauty, did it.
he brushed his lips against your neck, sucking on the sensitive skin, marking it with possession.
your knees shook and a burning heat exploded between your thighs that you had to grip onto his shoulders again.
paul had already taken off your clothes.
you suddenly found yourself completely naked.
he slipped a thigh between your legs and pressed his knee against your most sensitive spot.
damn...
you closed your eyes and pressed your lips together to suppress a moan, maybe an orgasm.
you felt giddy, excited and hungry.
so much so that, against all shame, you began to follow those movements.
you wiggled your hips, grinding against her muscular leg.
he increased the intensity to let you feel him even more.
"you like it like that, don't you?" he asked, his voice hoarse with desire for him.
his kisses became more merciless and wild and his tongue melted against yours.
he then let one hand slide down.
he smiled at you, then kissed you softly.
paul continued to act skillfully but very slowly and, moving to the clit, he rubbed it with his index finger, then squeezed it tightly with his thumb.
that damn expert touch made you delirious.
he immediately withdrew his finger, however, giving you a jolt of indescribable pleasure and you let out a cry.
he stuck his finger in again, briefly.
he caressed your entire calf and then moved up your leg and ended up on your inner thigh.
"i want to kiss you here."
you froze at his words, but nodded.
something about the roughness he was practicing and the sweet permission that escaped his lips made you love him even more.
he leaned in and gently placed his lips on it.
with his wet tongue he licked on your clit, while his thin and veiny hands held your waist tightly.
"i feel you so tight..." he murmured.
he licked some more and his blue but not totally fremen eyes darkened feeling your sensitive spot twitch.
"were you like this even when you touched yourself for me?"
you tensed.
"relax baby...enjoy the moment, hm?"
he pushed his finger deeper but his words made you trust him and you tilted your head back, making your pupils roll as your hands ran through his hair to release the accumulated tension.
you pulled them even tighter, trying to tell him something you couldn't with words.
"say it" as if he almost read your mind, he ordered in the fremen language, and you almost actually came...
he turned you on like hell when he spoke in the same language as yours.
you looked at him biting your lips and your gaze fell on his mouth swollen and purple from his kisses.
his breaths are panting and fast, like yours.
then when he placed a small and delicate kiss on your belly you finally melted.
"do it, paul."
as soon as you felt his hot tongue inside you, his whole tent began to turn, move, distort above my eyes.
you pushed your hips against his mouth.
he didn't stop, in fact, he continued to lick you.
you were shaking and panting against the fabric of the carpet.
when you finally felt you were close again the mix of sensations was too powerful...
you were distraught, sweaty and hot.
"do you really think we're done? i still have to make up for all the last nights, baby."

Hey. It's me again. I was wondering if you could write something. Where reader is taking care of her younger siblings because her father who was a single dad had died due to some illness which she has now and it is going to kill her. The ic notices last minute. Az is just pissed because she is his wife and she made up a lie to break his heart. You can decided if there is a cure they found or not. Thanku. Hope you are doing well
I'm convinced you want me to break Azriel's (and my) heart, and I almost did it this time 👀👀👀👀
Losing Forever
Warnings - illness, mentions of death, heartbreak, losing a family member, angst with a happier ending than originally planned, mentions of medical procedures and blood. Ps- there's a little hint of Azris in there if you squint. 👀
A/n - I changed the ending of this two or three times, and I'm not 100% happy, but that's my inner perfectionist. I seriously considered something less happy, but I think I mentally care about Azriel having a happy ending way too much.
🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
Madja stared at you in silence. "Where and how?" The healer finally said before pulling any books she could. "Y/n, where and how?"
She had confirmed your fear as you began to pick at the loose skin on your nails. "My father had written for me," you went into the story, the old healer looking at you every so often as she flipped through page after page.
The conclusion was the same. Illryian Fever. You had heard of it wiping whole camps clean. Incurable, deadly, and incredibly painful for the affected. "You cannot go home. You could pass this to Nyx, Rhys, Azriel, or Cassian if they get too close to you." You nodded. "I will keep looking, y/n, but I have to go tell the High Lord which camp it was spreading through and that you have it."
Your trip home had taken much longer than you and Azriel had believed it would. He crossed his arms over his chest as Madja sat across from Rhys. The healer's face was pale. Her hands shaking with nerves. "Not that I am unhappy to see you, old friend, but why are you here?" Rhys leaned back a brow raised.
They heard her throat clear before a pregnant pause came. "Illyrian fever struck the Snowfall Camp. At least 50 are dead, countless are infected." Azriel's heart froze, and Cassian looked at him.
Rhys swallowed thickly. "Why do you have this information before I do?" He prayed to the Mother that the answer they all knew was coming wouldn't be said. "Surely, if it was spreading, I would know by now."
Madja rose a brow at Rhysand before taking his hand in hers. "You know the answer to that question, High Lord. She's in the Halls of Healing. I will not allow her to come out here. I will not allow visitors until a shield is in place." Rhys closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose between two fingers. "I need anything you can get me regarding similar strands of illnesses if there will be a small chance of saving her."
Azriel felt Cassian grab him as his knees gave out. He felt his brother lowering him to the floor. He couldn't hear Rhys and Madja trying to talk to him. Every sound was muffled as if he was underwater, his heart rate was skyrocketing, his eyes wide with panic. The sound of his heartbeat increasing became a pounding drum. The noise was all he could focus on until your soft voice came into his mind.
Just a week, my love. Father said Luka, and he had simple colds. I will be right back to you. He rewatched the moment now, replaying the subtle things in your body language. The distant look in your eyes, the way you kissed him harder than you had for any other previous goodbye.
You knew, he realized, you knew, and you lied.
After countless hours spent hunched over books and chasing away sleep, Rhys had found a way for them to all see you. He kept a shield between you all, clutching Nyx tightly to him as he tried to reach you and cried for his favorite aunt.
It had been a week with no news regarding a cure, and your body was clearly tired of fighting. You had stopped eating 2 days ago, spending hours now in the throes of sleepless dreams and fevered nightmares. He had brought the heir to say goodbye, knowing from Madja's predictions, the progression, and years of experience you had until morning unless a miracle came.
Feyre was in the room with you. Holding your hand as she sobbed heavily into the bed. She could not pass the disease unless she made the choice to shift, and the wall Rhys was offering was too much for her. She needed to hold your hand to feel your soft palms one last time. But, it was too much for him as well. The sight of you like this was eating away at him. "Feyre, darling, please." She nodded, with one last kiss goodbye placed on your forehead.
Cassian and Nesta came next. Lady Death was held back by her husband, his hand resting on her swollen stomach. He took in your peaceful face, the countless medications being pumped into you to keep you comfortable. Ness unleashed a heartbreaking cry after they had spent almost an hour talking to you, hoping your mind wasn't lost enough that it could hear them still. Cassian took that as the cue, gently ushering his wife out of the room and into the large area Madja had set up for the Inner Circle to wait in.
It went on like that until they had all visited you. Elain and Lucien, then Mor, then Amren. Eris had even come, warming your room and sheets more as he watched you shiver. He walked back into the room, kissing Elain's temple to greet his sister in law before placing a supportive hand on Azriel's shoulder.
It was not every day someone felt the mating bond fading. Numbness had taken over the spymaster, along with anger, as he found letters confirming you knew what you were possibly walking into. But you had done it for your father. Your brother.
You had done it because they had no one else. Your mother was long gone, and your sisters married off to other camps. He did not rank high enough to garner attention from healers, your half brother was merely a child, and it would have been seen as survival of the fittest.
You had risked your life to ensure their last moments were comfortable, and now Azriel would pay that price.
"Azriel," Madja said softly, "if you want to say goodbye, you need to now." Eris and Lucien all but dragged the male to your room when he refused to move, shutting the door behind him and waiting in the hall.
Azriel felt ill as he took you in. This wasn't you. The sickly pale skin, the hallow cheeks, the lack of laughter and light. He felt a knot forming in his throat as he mindless stepped as close to you as he could before the shock of the barrier hit him.
He couldn't even hold your hand in your last moments. He sat in the chair slowly. "Why didn't you tell me?" His voice finally broke the heaviness of the room. "Why did you lie to me?" He felt tears damping his lashes before falling. "You are my mate, y/n. Why did you lie to me about this?"
He watched you, knowing he wouldn't get a response. "I'm fucking angry. I have to spent your last moments angry with you because of a choice you made. We could have sent healers, love," his voice cracked. "We could have sent anyone but you."
Azriel was openly weeping now. "You promised me forever, y/n. You promised me years of love, joy, and unconditional happiness." He knew you had not broken the latter of the 3. You had given Azriel countless memories. Countless moments of laughter, of warmth and love.
You had melted that icy part deep down in his soul that was slowly resolidifying as he accepted the loss and anger he felt. "You promised me forever, and you shit on it. You shit on me, on my feelings, our marriage, our bond." The coldness grew with each word. "Did you even actually love me, or was that a lie too?"
He knew deep down it wasn't and watched as your finger, the one with your wedding ring, twitched. Rhys entered the room calmly behind him. "She can fucking hear you, Azriel. She's awake," he chastised. "Do not let your last moments with her be moments of anger and self sabot-" Rhys froze, his eyes flicking to the doorway. Hope filled Rhysand's features. "Hold on, y/n. Just please keep fighting, sis."
Madja and Helion, followed by Thesan, ran into the room. Rhys pulled Azriel back and away, making room for the three of them to work. "Mother, fuck," Helion said softly as he took your hand. "This better work fast, Thesan."
The Lord of Dawn rolled his eyes. "I didn't exactly have countless illyrians lining up to test it, Helion. Especially not ones in this advanced of a condition." Azriel flinched as Thesan shoved something into the vein of your hand. A soft whimper of pain fell from your throat. "I know, lovely. I'm sorry. This might be very uncomfortable." He set a bag of clear glowing liquid on the rack. "Who's blood?"
"Mine," Helion immediately offered. "I don't want to risk you taking it home to your winged legion from potential blood contact."
Thesan's jaw twitched. "I don't know if you can handle another one, Hel."
"Use me." A calm cool voice said from the doorway. "I owe him a life debt. Use me." Thesan nodded, motioning for the owner of the voice to move closer.
Eris stepped forward and through the shield, taking the seat Helion had moved closer to you. The heir held your hand gently as Thesan tapped into his vein. "You might be here awhile, Eris." The heir nodded. "I also cannot promise you doing this will save her, but it's her best shot until Tarquin, Tamlin, or Kallias can get here. It works best with a high lord's blood."
Your breathing had evened out, and Azriel watched in silence as Thesan hooked one more needle to your opposite arm from Eris and into a different container. He back away along with Helion, watching as Eris's blood slowly began to travel the tubes and into you, and your own began to leave.
"There's a similar illness in the Peregryn and the Seraphim," Thesan began slowly. "Drakon and I figured this out many years ago. The contagion cannot survive high fae blood for some reason. We had figured Rhysand's father would have done the same, but it appears not considering the situation."
Rhys scoffed slightly. "You two give my father far too much credit on anything. Velaris is the best thing he created, with the exception of myself of course." The joke broke the tension. "How long until she's not contagious."
Helion motioned towards the bag. "The second that started pumping into her, she stopped. That is water from the fountain Amarantha tried to destroy under the mountain. It's sacred and all healing. We were hoping with how poorly she was doing it would prevent anything from progressing further."
Azriel felt the shield drop and ran to your open side. Taking a cold hand in his, feeling the weight of your ring. "This was successful in the camps. I apologize it took us so long to get here. Finding Illyrians willing to help us help them instead of accept death was-" Helion just shrugged, looking at Rhys. "You all are too stubborn for your own good. Eris, what do you want for food? You'll need it."
Rhys held his hand up. "I know where he likes to eat here. I will send you two food. I'm going to get everyone else out for a break, though. And to explain what's happening." He motioned for Thesan and Helion to come with him, squeezing Azriel's shoulder and shooting Eris one last look before shutting the door.
Silence fell between the two of them, both of their eyes locked on you. "If this saves her, you need to grovel and apologize immediately." Eris would not look at him. "I would have never said to my mate what you said to her on their deathbed."
Azriel nodded. "Why are you doing this?"
Eris finally looked up at him, before looking at you. "You came and saved me from that bitch of a queen and the deathless God, Azriel. She nursed me back to health and healed me after countless beating from my father. You are my friends, even if you do not acknowledge that. I care about you, Az." Eris paused, his eyes focused on the fire, starting it back up into a gentle blaze to heat the room again. "Besides, I quite enjoy your wife. She is wonderful. Even if you are a moody brute."
Azriel laughed lightly. Allowing silence to fall between the two of them again. His shadows appeared some time later with two books from thin air, taking one to Eris and dropping one in Azriel's lap. They then pushed side tables to the two males as Rhys sent them food.
Eris guffawed in awe as Azriel's shadows began to cut their steaks. "Is this your way of saying thank you, shadowsinger?" Azriel nodded. Opening his mouth while staring at Eris to allow his companions to feed him. "You're welcome, Azriel. She looks better already." And you did. Color had slightly returned to your face. Your lashes occasionally fluttered against your cheeks.
They welcomed in quiet again, finishing their meals and desserts before a soft knock came on the door almost an hour later. A shadow opened it, and Eris's face almost fell before he chuckled through his breath. "You are not the one I was expecting."
The scent of rain and fresh cut grass hit Azriel. Had this been a different circumstance, Azriel would have shielded you, protectrd you, but he knew there was only one way this male got in, and that sacrifice from Rhysand shocked him.
"My schedule clears easily these days." Tamlin placed a hand on Azriel's shoulder. "You look like shit, Azriel." The shadowsinger watched Thesan appear and began to unhook Eris.
The heir moved to the chair by Azriel, drinking the water a shadow had handed to him as the small puncture wound instantly healed. They watched as Thesan hooked Tamlin up to you. They watched as Tamlin's blood seemed to instantly make a huge difference. You had stopped shivering completely. Your body relaxed. You were even breathing deeper.
Thesan observed for a while. Watching as Rhys then sent Tamlin food, causing the two high lords to laugh. "Tarquin will be here by morning, and Kal will be here tomorrow afternoon. The Inner Circle is each going to take turns after you, with the exception of Rhysand. Feyre will sit in his place. Then Tarquin, Kal, then Helion and myself. I think it will take all of us since she was so advanced into the illness."
Tamlin nodded. "I apologize I was not here sooner."
Thesan shook his head. "Eris was more than enough to get her off the brink. Now, all you have to do is sit and stabilize her, and from there, we will heal her."
Thesan crossed his arms in front of his body, brows raised as he nodded to the plate in front of Tamlin. "I was informed not to leave until you ate a bite." Tamlin laughed as shadows copied their previous motions, cutting his steak like they had for Eris before holding a bite to his face.
Eris had fallen asleep, his head resting on Azriel's shoulder. Thesan grabbed a blanket, pulling it over the heir, and Azriel wrapped a wing around him on instinct as well.
"She's going to recover, Azriel," Thesan said. "Might want to start writing that apology letter. Rhys said her thoughts regarding you were not kind when she called for him. Something about stupid illyrian brutes and over egotistical bastards?"
Tamlin and Azriel laughed. Azriel didn't take his eyes off of you as you shakily raised a single finger to him. "So a fancy date, an apology letter, and a vacation. Noted, my love."

Fan behaviour
word count; 2898 – f!reader, manga spoilers
Hoshiumi was looking for the right entrance at nationals when he saw you for the first time. You were dashingly beautiful and looking frankly a bit lost. His stare shamelessly settled on you, already memorising your pretty features. Weirdly enough, they seemed somewhat familiar.
You must have felt the burning stare, eyes finally meeting his and just barely startling him. He opened his mouth, about to make some smart comment that would be one of his first attempts at flirting, but he wasn’t given the chance. “Hoshiumi Korai,” you said, crossing your arms. You were interesting and spoke confidently. He watched in awe as a small smile fell on your face. She knows me?
“Have we met?” he asked, sounding annoyed even if he didn’t mean to. He wished he knew your name too, if only so that you wouldn’t have the upper hand on the conversation.
“They say you’re the new little giant,” you say, stepping closer slowly and not exactly answering him. As you came closer, Korai could see that you were slightly taller than him.
“So you’re a fan.” he teased, raising his chin as if it made him taller.
“You might face Karasuno on the court soon, I’d rather you see me as competition,” you say, not backing up and sticking to your sweet, bordering on smug, smile.
“Karasuno… Then I look forward to beating you,” he said, already knowing that it was a match he was dying to play. No less now that the mystery girl was involved.
“Good luck.”
Unfortunately, Kamomedai defeated Karasuno after Hinata was benched with a fever. You almost felt out of breath watching Hoshiumi call out to Hinata that he would be waiting for him as the little tangerine was escorted off the court. Hoshiumi’s stature and voice had you wrapped around his finger from the sidelines.
Korai celebrated with his teammates after their win, and he was only spared a few three seconds to meet your eyes through the crowd before getting scooped up in celebrations again. You had more important things to do anyway, like support your younger brother through his first loss of the season.
You two didn’t see Hoshiumi much for your third year. You came to cheer for some of Tobio’s games when they got to nationals again and purposefully looked for the white-haired boy but didn’t find yourself lucky. Sometimes you wondered if he looked for you too and the two of you just missed each other. Then it was off to university, leaving that silly crush behind.
Kageyama Tobio, your younger brother by one year, told you about Hoshiumi Korai when he went to the All-Japan training camp in his first year. You simply had to research this guy who thought he was all that. There wasn’t much to find, he didn’t enjoy interviews, but that’s how you knew his name when you two first met. Tobio had called you in the evening one day while at the camp, saying that some guys were trying to pick fights with him even though he couldn’t quite understand it. You adored your clueless brother and just told him to keep being himself and make the most out of his time there. His skillset would speak for itself. He eventually left the camp with a good experience and new inspiration, and you welcomed him home to hear him talk about what the floor was made of. However, your mind kept going back to this little guy with white hair that made Tobio think that Hinata could fly even higher. If you hadn’t been so distracted by that, maybe you would have noticed how bothered Tobio was with Atsumu’s comment about his playstyle.
When said dear little brother got accepted to join the Schweiden Adlers, you were thrilled! Not just because it was a team you used to watch on television, but because that also happened to be where Hoshiumi ended up. Call it silly, but your little crush on him hadn’t exactly worn off as he just got a bit taller and more handsome every year. He was eventually forced to start doing some interviews, and who could blame you for watching them? It’s not fan behaviour, you just.. like.. him?
It might be impossible to believe, but you finally met him again without meaning to. You barely let Tobio open his front door before pushing your way inside, a huge bowl of food that your older sister made you bring from her place settled in your arms. “Tobio, hii. Miwa told me to bring you some food so I’ll just stuff this in the fridge,” you rambled as you toed off your shoes and strolled into his living room. “Oh.. sorry…”
There sat Tobio’s new friends, Hoshiumi and Ushijima. Your brother came up beside you and complained about you just walking in as if you lived in his apartment, so you fired back by complaining about his ungratefulness. Poor visitors didn’t know what they should do and ended up just awkwardly waiting for you two to stop bickering. Ushiwaka tried to share a look with Hoshiumi, but the shorter man was stuck looking at you with his mouth slightly open in awe.
“Well if it isn’t my greatest competitor.” he interrupted, leaning forward in his seat with an incredibly charming, lop-sided grin.
And as you and Kageyama both faced him with incredulous looks that were nearly identical, it clicked. They’re siblings. Tobio had no idea what his teammate was talking about, but you finally fell into a smile at the fond memory, tucking some hair behind your ear. “Little giant, you remember me?”
“How could I forget that sweet look of defeat when we beat you.” he countered, standing up even though there was a whole coffee table between you two. Let’s just say he never worked on his flirting techniques as much as his volleyball techniques. Kageyama watched with a frown but didn’t want to interrupt Korai.
You handed the food over to your brother before rolling up your sleeves like you were squaring up, squinting at the white-haired man for a moment before acknowledging the other one as well. “Sorry, hi. Kageyama y/n, nice to finally meet you,” you said calmly, bowing to Ushiwaka who sharply bowed back with a short answer of his name and a greeting.
Tobio walked to the kitchen to put away the food while you turned your attention back to the shortest man. Hoshiumi hadn’t heard your name before, but now he quite liked it. Like he couldn’t wait for it to roll off his tongue.
“You should come to our game next week.” Hoshiumi blurted out confidently, sitting back down in his seat and glancing to his side where there was space for you to sit down. Not that he dared to ask if you were staying.
“Right, I brought your ticket,” Tobio mumbled, as if suddenly remembering that he had invited you to that one too. You were still quite interested in the sport, helping Tobio practice when you weren’t out with your own friends while growing up. “Here.”
“Thanks,” you said while putting your shoes back on. You playfully ruffled your brother’s hair before waving at the rest of the crowd, letting your eyes linger for a second longer on Korai. “I’ll be there as your fan this time, play well,” you said before leaving so none of the men could see the light blush that covered your cheeks. Hoshiumi was left feeling breathless from the interaction. When you know, you know.
The visit became rather short as you had to move on with other errands, but now you had something exciting to tell your friends while sitting down for coffee tomorrow.
Game day arrived and you put on some of the Adlers merch that Tobio got you before heading to the stadium. You went with Hinata and the two of you enjoyed catching up in the best seats, ready for the teams to come out and play. You sent a couple of snaps of the crowd to your brother as well as a couple of selfies with his friend, hoping to hype him up and show him where your seats were. The number on your shirt said 16, which you just assumed was Tobio’s number since he was the one you should be cheering on, but Hinata had given it a curious look when he sat down. He didn’t know you were so close to Hoshiumi but he didn’t want to intrude and ask.
The game started and everyone around you quickly learnt that you and Hinata could make up a whole cheering squad on your own. Whenever there was anything you could react to, you two would be on your feet and cheering or booing the loudest out of everyone. After a particularly nice kill from Hoshiumi, set up by Tobio, you pointed to the white-haired man and yelled with joy. “Nice kill, little giant!”
Hoshiumi looked at you in surprised glee that suddenly turned into a shock that he had to quickly shake off so they could continue the game. His eyes had gone from your face down to your shirt before he quickly turned away, making you finally sit down and rethink your life choices.
“This is Hoshiumi’s number, huh?” you asked Hinata rhetorically, already feeling the embarrassment and planning out how to destroy the one who gave it to you. You finally noticed the number on the original owner’s shirt and covered your red face with your hands. Now you certainly looked like a fan.
After the match, you and Hinata made your way down and to the back, showing VIP passes to the guards so you could wait in the closest hallway outside the locker rooms. The two of you had gotten into the hype again after your embarrassment and were now on cloud nine after the win. Both reenacting your favourite moments and talking over each other.
Hoshiumi found you very beautiful the first time you two crossed paths, and that never changed. He got so flustered seeing you with his number, but it also boosted his morale for sure. Tobio smirked sideways at him when they were changing, finding himself pretty clever. And it only got better when Ushijima got involved.
“Are you and Kageyama’s sister romantically involved, Hoshiumi?” he asked, ever so formal and making Kageyama crack up. The shortest boy was sputtering in disbelief, face tomato red.
“No! We’re not!” he denied as if the thought hadn’t crossed his mind. It had.
“Oh. Okay.”
When they exited the locker rooms, Hoshiumi and Kageyama found you and Hinata outside, excitedly jumping around and not seeming to notice anyone outside your bubble. Hoshiumi felt this old pride bubble in his stomach, wondering how tall Hinata had gotten now and if you ever went to a black jackals game with his number on your shirt.
So he cleared his throat, making you quickly turn around, flustered by how you could suddenly see his face up close. He was thinking the same thing, and the other two guys were in disbelief at how neither of you decided to start the conversation.
“Nice jersey, y/n.” your brother teased childishly, making you move your stare to glare at him.
“You-“ you started saying before jumping at him and pulling his hair angrily. That was always the best way to get him to surrender his towering height so you could rub the top of his head until he gave up. The older sibling always wins.
“Let go! You said you were a fan so I got you his jersey!” he complained, embarrassed that some more teammates might see this. You did as he asked, dusting your hands off and stepping back beside Hinata. Hoshiumi found you entertaining and even chuckled a little, finally out of the stupor your pretty face left him in earlier.
“I am flattered,” Korai said, making you look back at him and trying to contain your blush. Now he’s all cocky about it, and you wish you didn’t find it so attractive. “Truly.”
“Careful or I’ll beat you up just the same,” you mumbled, biting back a smile. Now, you might think all Hoshiumi could see in that sentence was a challenge, but he was already trying to win another competition.
“I bet you’d look good doing that too,” he said cheekily, cheering on the inside when you turned away first and started walking towards the exit. That’s a win.
“Are we going out to eat or not?”
After getting out into fresh air, you cooled off from your flustered state and fell into more normal conversation. The atmosphere was nice and mostly filled with friendly bickering, but only the two in question seemed to notice their eyes drifting to each other every so often when Hinata and Kageyama were busy yelling at each other.
The dinner was nice, like a group of friends who had very obvious, growing crushes on each other. You sat beside Hinata, across from Korai, and to say it annoyed Korai was an understatement. This was the one thing he absolutely wouldn’t lose to Hinata. He wanted his fingers to accidentally brush against your thigh.
So after everyone went their separate ways, he texted the orange-haired man. Something blunt along the lines of are you interested in Kageyama?
Shoyo: which one?
Korai stared at the message for a moment before chuckling. The girl?
Shoyo: not like you are;)
Korai put a thumbs-up reaction to the message, laughing to himself at how he didn’t even realise Hinata might have a thing for Tobio. Guess it’s a competition, first to ask their Kageyama out. This is just how his brain works.
Hoshiumi is sitting in front of the TV in his apartment and does what he finds to be the most tactical next step. He calls Hirugami and updates him on everything.
“Your heart skipped a beat? Who are you and what did you do to Korai?”
“Shut up,” he said, clearly not angry at all but rather embarrassed that his best friend was calling him out on his uncharacteristic heart palpitations. “It’s so weird, I even imagined her meeting my mom. And you. You’d get along, I bet. She’s like me but sweeter.”
“That’s exactly what I always thought you were missing. A little sweetness.” Hirugami said. It was very clearly supposed to be teasing but Korai got a little stuck on it, a small dazed smile falling on his face as he thought about you rambling on by the dinner table earlier. He looked around his relatively boring apartment, at how there was perfect space for another person cuddled up to his side on the couch. “Korai?”
“Sorry. I just think you had a point,” he admitted. “I have her number now, is it rude to ask her out over text?”
Hoshiumi stared at the message he wanted to send you and for the first time in a long while, he felt a little extra insecure. What if you didn’t actually like him? You could probably get someone like Ushijima. Someone taller.
No. He will be whatever he needs to be to deserve your attention. If only he knew he already was the object of all your desires.
Just like the first time you met, you got ahead of him. He saw your name pop up on his screen and he let out an audible gasp. You played really well today, I was proud to wear your number:)
Korai wrote and rewrote about ten different responses, even requesting some help from his aforementioned friend. Thank you! I appreciated seeing you there.
It was a stale and basic answer and made him subconsciously bite at the tip of his fingernail as he watched your chat. He should have said you looked good in it or something, damn it. Nonetheless, you didn’t disappoint. Would you like to call? I’m bored.
And so he spent the rest of the evening listening to you talk and laughing with you. He moved around his apartment, played with a volleyball he had lying around and held the weirdest poses on the sofa because all his attention was on your voice. By the time you hesitantly thanked each other for the time spent, it was the middle of the night and he didn’t have any other choice but to go to sleep if he wanted to make it to practice in the morning. As he tossed and turned in his bed that night, he couldn’t stop berating himself for not securing a date.
Instead, you and Hoshiumi got into the habit of calling each other almost every evening. It made him happy and built up his confidence enough that he eventually dared ask if he could take you out, just the two of you.
Your first date was fantastic. He took you to play laser tag and the other teams didn’t stand a chance against the two of you. After getting the gear off, you were laughing on your way out and he led you to a restaurant close by. Well planned, of course. You shared two different dishes and it really just felt like you were catching up on years of not being friends.
And what better way to finish catching up on your friendship than ending said friendship with a sweet kiss?

And they were Roommates (part 5)
A/N: MY OH MY. This tag list has grown so much it makes me so happy! Thanks to the anonymous ask, i indulged myself and added a little self care on reader being sick. It honestly comforted me.
Again you are all entirely welcome to send some heacanons, tropes or ideas to add to this.
and yes. You'll have the slowest burn ever.
YOU WANTED TO BE FLUSTERED? HERE YOU GO MWAHAHA
Warnings: some 18+ inuendos, swearing.
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
You were exhausted. It had been an awfully long week. To your demise, sickness had entered your ranks. Sergeant McTavish was first. Whaling like a wounded soldier every time he felt a cough erupting. The drama queen had soon infected the others.
"We should have taken him out when I said to."
You had rolled your eyes at Ghost's remark.
Colonel Vargas was second. It had been slightly less complicated. He seemed to handle the flu much better. Gaz, he, had sung the song of his people with Soap, acting as if they've been shot. Though as per Price's comment, they complained far less when they had actually been shot.
Of course they had all nested in the apartment, Ghost highly irritated, asking them to go die somewhere else where they wouldn't bother him.
Being a medic had never been your dream. Yet you had to improvise yourself as a nurse for the week, giving medication and hot beverages to the wounded soldiers, or as you affectionately called them, pussies.
Price had followed, he had acted as if nothing was wrong, the obvious raspiness of his voice betraying him. He had kindly refused your offer to take care of him, but gave in at the warm soup for dinner. Your best patient so far.
Now to your worst patient. Ghost. He had entirely avoided any care package thrown his way, resulting in a lot of bickering to the amusement of the rest of the healing squad.
"Take your fucking meds." You said annoyed.
"Fucking make me." He dared.
You threw him your most annoyed glance.
"I will punch you." You threatened.
"Sure thing gremlin, reach my face first." He answered in the same tone.
You had kindly thrown every pillow in the living room at him, taking the one underneath soap's head, earning a 'hey!' from the agonizing man.
He had still accepted warm beverages, and after a very long fight and a threat to get drunk again, he had taken his meds.
It was finally over. Everyone was on the path of healing. Your duty was done.
Unfortunately for you, on this fine Sunday morning, you woke up with a raging headache and a sore throat.
You had been infected by the zombies. The game was over. You sighed. You had hoped very very strongly that you might escape the plague but the fight had been lost. You groaned as you sat up in bed. The warmth radiating from your body couldn't betray the obvious. You had a fever. You closed your eyes, cursing every baby man in the apartment because, OF COURSE, they were still camping around. Price was the only one who went back home for the night and came back in the morning to babysit his men.
You tried to stand, grabbing the black hoodie laying on your desk chair. You'd be fucking damned if you gave him back his hoodie. And he'd have to deal with you stealing the others too. Throwing it on, you tried to walk out of your room, the men complaining in the living room were being way too noisy for your pounding head. Finally appearing in the doorway the men turned to you.
"Oh god… you got sick." Price said.
The look of annoyance on your face couldn't betray it. You walked to the counter where Ghost was eyeing you carefully. You stared into his eyes.
"Johnny, make some tea." Ghost ordered, not dropping his gaze.
"Copy." Soap said jumping from the couch and jogging to the kitchen.
"Gaz go get some meds" he ordered again. "Copy" Gaz spoke out loud, walking to the front door. You felt your cheeks color.
"I'll go buy some snacks." Alejandro said, walking behind Gaz.
"You should get her to bed." Price said, walking next to soap probably to stop him from burning the kitchen down.
Ghost stood, extending his hand. You sighed before grabbing it, letting him walk you back to your room.
"Get in bed." He ordered.
"Like that? Not even a date first?" You teased dropping to your knees on the mattress.
"Stop taking your fantasies for reality." He snickered.
You let yourself slip under the covers again. He turned on the TV in your room, putting Netflix on.
"Ghost…" you asked, unsure of what you're going to say next.
He turned to you.
"Can… you stay…?" You asked.
"Can you give me back my hoodie?"
"No "
"Fuckin hell…"
So here you were. Cup of warm tea in hand, various snacks dropped around the bed, chocolate, candy, chips, sliced fruit and other things. Ghost laid next to you, slightly sitting against the headboard. Community was playing on the wide screen. It was peaceful. You, laying in bed, with your scary dog of a roommate next to you on the bed, his teammates half laying at the feet of the bed and around the room.
You sighed of content. Price had to run off to get some things done, but he promised to drop by in the evening again. Your eyelids felt heavy, the sickness getting you tired. A large hand came to slowly grab the half empty mug from your hands, putting it down on your night stand. You tried keeping track of the show on TV or the boys commenting or snickering at the jokes, but your eyes were fighting against your will.
It felt comfy. Warm. The man next to you seemed to radiate so much warmth. Your head had slightly fallen to the side, resting on his shoulder. You convinced yourself you'd close your eyes just for a minute. Just… a little… minute…
It felt… good… comfy… against his chest… his arm… around you… maybe… you could… sleep… for a bit…
"Sleep little bunny… we're here." He whispered, finally letting you completely give in to your exhaustion.
__
You groaned at the sound of someone repeatedly knocking and ringing at the front door. You peeked at the clock on your phone. 6:20 am. Who ? What?
It couldn't be Ghost. He did go for his morning runs, but… maybe he had forgotten his keys?
You got up, finally giving in. The knocking was non stop.
"I'm coming! God! Just a minute!" You yelled.
The pijamas you were wearing didn't help the cold hair from making you shiver as you walked to the front door.
You opened it, trying to focus your brain on what was happening.
"Oh darling! I'm soooo sorry to wake you up but I really need you!"
You stared at the woman in front of you. Sergeant Melisa Gallegos stood there. You had met her in one of the previous missions, you had gotten friendly with her. She was kind and sweet. You sometimes get coffee and gossip with her. That's how you had gotten to know each other. You had learned that she was a single mother of a 3 years old little girl named Amy.
Which was sitting in her mother's arms, eyes fighting to stay open at the obvious early rise she had to go through.
"I need you to babysit."
"What?"
"I am SO sorry to ask you this. I have a big emergency at the base, and her babysitter is on vacation… " she explained.
"But… I… I haven't taken care of a kid in a long time!" You debated.
"You know Amy! She loves you, you did this before." She tried smiling at you.
You stood before her, looking at her shift from one foot to another, and at Amy just begging to fall asleep.
You sighed.
"Oh thank you thank you thank you!!" She said, handing the little girl into your arms.
"Wait!- I-" you tried.
Unfortunately she had already dropped the two little bags in front of the door and ran off.
You looked at the little girl in your arms, not bothered by the change of person. She did know you after all, you had already babysat for her a few times.
"Alright little monkey. Let's go back to bed. It's way too early." You said, pushing the bags inside with your feet and closing the front door.
When Amy had woken up again, it was around 9 am. You were fine by it as it was the normal time you'd wake up. You two had played a bit on the bed, tickling her, and creating stories with the little plushie she dragged around everywhere with her.
After a good laugh you had decided to get up, peeking at your phone. One notification.
"I'm bringing breakfast, just got to pass at the base first. Be there at 10."
Alright. Gave you time to get dressed with Amy and make her a hot chocolate, with the usual tea for you and him. You had walked into the living room, dropping her on the couch softly turning on some cartoons, leaving you to start on the beverages. You heard the front door unlock, Ghost walking in with the usual breakfast.
"I got-"
He glanced at the couch. Freezing on the spot. The staring match in between the toddler and the man in a skull balaclava was almost comical if you weren't so anxious of Amy's reaction at the masked man. You hadn't thought that she might be scared of Ghost.
"Awe you a supew hewo?" She asked, eyes shining with happiness.
Your heart melted on the spot. You smiled at Ghost who suddenly turned to you.
"How the fuck did a kid spawn here?" He asked, confusion clearly visible in his eyes.
You gasped ready to reprimand him from cursing in front of the child.
"Fwuck!"
You both turned to the toddler who had a wide smile on her face.
"No. No. Nonononoo… Amy sweety no.." you freaked out a bit. God Melisa was going to kill you.
You walked to the toddler kneeling in front of her.
"Darling, that's a bad word… only grown ups can use it… alright?" You tried to explain. Throwing a dark look at the man still standing at the doorstep.
"Ok!" She happily conceded.
You smiled.
"Perfect! Do you want to meet the big man?" You asked. She frantically nodded. You picked her up, walking around the couch to stand in front of Ghost who looked almost terrified.
"Amy, this is Lieutenant Riley. You can call him Ghost. He's my roommate… hum, my friend!" You explained.
You turned to ghost who's eyes shifted from the child to you.
"Ghost. This is Amy. She's my friend's kid, and I had to babysit at the last minute. She'll be spending the day with me."
He nodded.
"Why you wwear a mask?" She asked.
He frowned for a second.
"Hmm… it's for my job." He answered.
"Can I touwch it?" She asked, extending her little hand.
Ghost stared at it for a few seconds before looking back at you.
"Hum, sweety, maybe-" you started trying to defuse the situation.
To your shock he stopped closer, lowering his face, letting the little girl touch his mask. His eyes were on you, and yours were glued to his.
What was that funny feeling spreading through you? The burning sensation coursing through you? God..
The little girl giggled. Before letting her hand drop.
She then turned to you.
"Can I watch SpongewBob?" She asked.
You cleared your throat. Looking away embarrassed.
"Of course darling. We'll prepare breakfast."
You turned away, walking back to the couch and sitting her down, leaving her to watch 'SpongewBob' on tv.
You walked to the kitchen Ghost closely following you.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't expecting -" you began in a low voice.
"It's… ok. It was surprising." He whispered back..
God, why was he so close to you? Why were you so HOT?!
"I'm not used to kids." He admitted.
"It's alright. I'm the babysitter. You don't have to stay." You smiled.
"Didn't we have to go grocery shopping?" He reminded you.
You closed your eyes at the sudden realization.
"Oh… fu-.. I mean… yeah… I forgot." You said.
"We can take her. It'll be ok, right?" He asked.
"Why wouldn't it be?" You questioned back.
"I don't know. It's not too cold for her?" He asked.
God can he stop being so FUCKIN cute?! You bit your lip, keeping the wide smile from being too visible and failing miserably.
"She'll be fine."
Breakfast had been, calm. You were thankful that Amy was one of the calmest kid's you knew. She was well behaved, calm, and sweet. She was, unfortunately for Ghost, extremely curious. And again, to his dismay, she had taken a liking to him. She had been fascinated at the way he raised his mask to his nose to eat.
His lips were one of the things you were used to.
To SEE. USED TO SEE.
On another hand, Ghost had seemed very thoughtful during the morning.
He had eclipsed himself for half an hour while you battled with the toddler to get both of you ready to go grocery shopping. She kept questioning everything, sometimes wondering about things that never ever crossed your mind. You found it funny. It was incredibly adorable.
Zipping her little coat, making sure she had her scarf, you received a text from Ghost.
"I'm here."
You walked out of the door, the little girl holding your hand as you were walking down. You made sure to walk down the stairs at her pace, eyes never leaving her, too scared she might fall even though her tiny hand was secured in yours.
You pushed the building's door to the underground parking lot where you immediately saw Ghost, arms crossed over his chest, all dressed in black leaning against his black jeep. Amy squealed as she saw him. Jumping.
You smiled. You walked to him.
"Where did you go?" You asked.
"We were missing something." He said.
"Really? What?" You inquired, confused.
He moved, opening the back door. You blinked. A FUCKING CAR SEAT. You closed your eyes, sighing.
"Thank you… it had completely escaped my mind…" you apologized.
Amy had let go of your hand, skipping her way to Ghost, hands up in the air for him to pick her up and sit her in the back.
Ghost froze. You were quick to make a move but you stopped as he slowly bent forward. You stood there in shock, watching him pick up the child. She was so small in his arms.
Fuck… was this awakening something in you?
He sat her very softly in the car seat, being extremely careful to make sure she wouldn't hit her head. He moved as if Amy was a little porcelain doll. You saw him fidget to buckle her up, again surprising you. The little 'click' was heard, and he pulled a little on the belts, making sure it was safe. Amy was holding her little plushie babbling about whatever new thing she had learned this morning to the soft thing.
Ghost looked back at you, leaning on his arm against the car. As if taking your opinion on his handy work. You bit your lip. And his eyes fell on the movement, forearms flexing.
"Thanks…" you whispered.
"You're welcome." He answered voice deeper than usual. You finally moved, opening the passenger door, he closed the back door making sure Amy didn't have her leg or arm in the way. You sat in the front, Ghost closing your door behind you.
You took a deep breath. Amy seemed to be enjoying herself, not at all weary of her new environment. Ghost took place in the driver's seat, buckling his seatbelt as well. You watched his movements as turned on the vehicle.
"Ghost…" you called.
He looked at you.
"Did you… buy a car seat?" You asked.
"Yes." Was all he said, attention turning back to his task.
You pushed the Shopping cart where Amy had taken place. Ghost followed you as you tried to remember what you needed. The grocery store on the base was a good thing. It avoided having civilians staring at Ghost. At least here, everyone knew who he was. The fact he was with a woman and a child though, that, caused many to stare.
The fact that Amy was a little blond, curly haired girl, that was incredibly close in color to Ghost's eyelashes also made everyone stare.
You tried to focus on the task at hand, Amy and Ghost not caring at all about the rest of the people in the store.
She kept pointing at things, asking Ghost to explain what It was. It made you smile. The way he was willingly letting himself be questioned by the little girl.
"Oh, i forgot…" you mentally cursed yourself.
Ghost looked at you.
"Can.. you stay with her for a few minutes? I'm sorry… I forgot to grab something." You asked with a sorry look..he nodded.
You smiled at him before turning around and walking out of the aisle, hurrying up. As you scanned the new aisle your phone rang. Rummaging through your pocket you grabbed it. It was Amy's mother.
" Hey! How's everything going?" She asked.
"Everything's fine. Your daughter met Liteutenant Ghost Riley." You teased.
"...what?" She asked.
"Yeah, he's my roommate." You spoke, still searching for the damn thing.
"... And… is everything going ok?" She asked with a little worry in her voice.
"Everything is fine…" you sighed " she likes him more than me, and he acts as if she's made of glass." You said.
"Oh! Thank god! I was worried she might be a bit much for him." She chuckled.
"Well he's not used to it, but he's extremely patient with her." You reassured.
"Alright, I might pick her up late… I'm really sorry…"
"It's ok. You owe me though." You teased.
"Ok, fair." She laughed.
You bid your goodbyes, her having to rush back to work, and you worrying about leaving Ghost and Amy alone too long.
You walked back to the aisle you had left him, finding them nowhere. You frowned. You walked around the aisle, suddenly feeling the anxiety coursing through you. What happened? Why aren't they here? You stopped as you turned left into the biscuits section.
You let out a sigh of relief.
"Ghost!" You walked to him. He turned to you not bothered at all by the situation.
"I've been looking for-"
You interrupted yourself as you looked at Amy.
"Ghost. Why does she have a doll?" You asked.
"She asked for it." He replied.
You looked at the cart.
"She also asked for the plush, the Legos and the ponies?" You glared at him.
"Yes." He replied again, as if the situation was completely fine.
"Ghost. You can't buy her that."
"Yes I can."
"No! You can't give her everything she asks for!"
"Yes I can. She asked nicely. She said please." He explained turning back to lean on the cart.
"That's not an excuse!" You scolded.
"It's my money." He concluded.
Amy smiled widely, hugging the box the doll was in.
You stood there mouth slightly open, shocked from the situation.
She had him wrapped around her finger! You rolled your eyes. This was a fight you wouldn't win. You headed for the cashier's, ready to ring up everything. Amy was thrilled with her new toys. Walking back to the car, you dropped the groceries in the trunk, Amy already had her doll out of the box as she had 'asked nicely', and ghost had ripped the box apart to give it to her.
He had let you buckle her up this time. You headed back home. Stopping at MacDonalds on the way home because, once again, 'she had asked nicely'.
"Stop spoiling her Ghost!"
"No."
Ghost parked in the parking lot. You both got out of the car. You opened the back door, looking at the little girl. She had fallen asleep on the way home. She hadn't liked waking up early, and it was almost time for her nap. You stood there for a little while watching her sleep. She was so cute. You didn't want to wake her up.
The breath on your neck made your hair stand, as he whispered in your ear.
"Do you want me to pick her up…"
You held your breath. He was in your back, cornering you, arms on each side, leaning down.
You slowly looked to your left, planting your eyes into his. Time froze. You were so close. You could feel his breath though his balaclava on your lips. He frowned. Eyes shifting to said lips.
"You're always biting your lip…" he noted in a low voice.
Were you? You didn't even realize you were doing it now.
"Does it bother you?" You hushed back.
"It makes them… red." He stated awkwardly.
"Does it?" You asked. Of course it did. You could see his brows furrowing.
"Makes me…want-" he started, almost growling.
You were hanging on to his every word. Heat pouling dangerously deep in your stomach.
"Why does it make whem red?" The little voice made you both separate instantly. Ghost taking a step back.
You cleared your throat, looking at Amy.
"Hum… well… hum… it's… complicated. I'll explain another time, ok?" You tried, clearly blushing.
"Ok!" She smiled.
God. Keeping children was hard.
The day had gone by pretty fast. You ate lunch, Amy napped leaving you and Ghost time to work a bit. You two were acting as if nothing happened. On your part at least you were obviously embarrassed.
After she had woken up, she insisted on playing with her new Legos. You had moved the coffee table to the side so you could play on the carpet with her. Ghost was sitting on the couch, legs spread, reading a report, occasionally looking at you playing with Amy. Once in a while Amy turned to him proudly showing off her constructions.
Each time he praised her with a little, 'that's really nice, you did good', it made your heart flutter.
He was so kind, so gentle with her.
You could feel his gaze on you when you weren't looking. It burnt through you.
After a while you had dinner, and put on a Disney movie for her. You sat on the couch with her on your lap cuddling her new teddy and her old plushie. She rested against you. Ghost joined after finishing his report.
"Move." He asked.
You frowned. He sat next to you, making you lean on him. You blushed.
"Are you really gonna watch Encanto?" You teased.
"You'd rather I go away?" He asked, looking down at you intensely.
You didn't say anything at all.
The more the movie played the more Amy seemed to close her eyes. It was getting pretty late. Around half of the movie she was sound asleep in your arms. You smiled down at her, brushing a little strand of blond hair away from her face.
"Fuck…"
You looked at Ghost meeting his gaze.
"Is everything alright?" You whispered.
He stayed silent.
"Ghost..?" You asked frowning.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"What.. Do you mean?" You whispered.
"To me…" he finished furrowing his brows in confusion.
You sucked in a breath, but before you could say anything, a knock on the door made you separate. It took a little moment for him to gather himself and get up to open the door. You took a deep breath, trying to calm your racing heart. A few seconds later, Melisa walked in.
"Hey!" She whispered to you, walking to where you sat.
"Hi, how was work? " You hushed back.
"Hell… but we made it… I'm so sorry to have dropped her off like that…" she said, the sincerest sorry look on her face.
"It's alright Melisa. I understand, and I don't mind helping you out. Amy is adorable." You reassured.
She smiled at you, feeling slightly emotional by the look on her face. With the utmost care, you gave her the sleeping toddler.
"I'll help you with the bags." You told her, getting up the couch with her. Looking around at the toys scattered around and then to the new plush she furrowed her brows in confusion.
"Did you buy her all of this?" She asked.
"No. He did." You said pointing at the man leaning behind the kitchen counter.
It was absolutely ridiculous to say that the man, in all black, with a mask made of a human skull, with the most terrifying glance you could fall on, had bought so many toys for a toddler after she had simply said 'please'.
You both walked to the doorstep as she stopped in front of Ghost.
"I'm sorry lieutenant.. I hope she didn't make a fuss. I'm very thankful to you both for keeping her… and for the toys." She said.
"No problem. She's a nice kid." He said.
You smiled at him, he noticed. You grabbed the two little bags and followed Melisa out, walking down the stairs to her car.
"He's pretty nice actually, for a cold blooded killer he is reputed for." She remarked.
"He's still a terrifying man, who sticks up to his reputation by the reports of missions I've seen. He's just… calmer, here." You said.
She had put Amy into her car seat.
"He bought her… a car seat." You said. It sounded more like a thought coming out of your mouth, as if for yourself, it was still something your brain was trying to process.
"He did? Just… for today?" She asked.
"Yeah. We went to the store, and I guess he was worried for her safety, and immediately went out and bought her the car seat." You explained.
Now you remembered how he seemed deep in thoughts during breakfast. He had been thinking about it.
"Well. He seems like a good man." She said softly, closing the back door.
"Yeah.. you're right." You smiled at her. "I trust that this stays in between us." You asked.
"Don't worry. I wouldn't say anything that involves my daughter to anyone. This situation stays knowledge for us only." She assured. You knew that she was extremely worried to have her child on the line. Unfortunately, it's part of the job to earn enemies, and everyone wants to keep their loved one away from it.
Melisa thanked you again as you handed her the bags. You offered to take care of Amy if she ever needed again. After hugging her goodbye, you headed back up to the apartment.
Locking the front door behind you, you walked into the living room where you saw Ghost, holding what now seemed to be his favorite mug, standing behind the counter.
"You look tired. You should head to sleep." He remarked.
He was right. You were tired. Taking care of a child wasn't easy, you were glad for his help. You walked up to him, you saw him stiffen.
"Thank you Ghost. Your help was really appreciated. And I had an amazing day. Amy adored it. So… again, thank you Gh-"
"Simon." He interrupted.
You blinked.
"Wh-what..?" You whispered.
He stepped closer, barely inches away.
"My name. It's Simon." He clarified.
Your mouth opened. Then shut itself again.
Simon.
"(Y/N)." You blurted out.
His eyes flashed something unknown.
"(Y/N).." he whispered, sending a delightful shiver down your spine. Your name, on his lips. Fuck…
"Simon…" you whispered too.
You felt his fingertips rush to your hip, hovering there, too close yet so far. After a second he lowered his hand back to his body.
"You're welcome. It was a good day." He added.
You nodded, smiling at him, trying to hide the obvious way your heart was racing. Swallowing the lump in your throat, you watched him step back, gaining some composure.
"Goodnight (Y/N)." He said.
"Goodnight Simon."

heard you’re in need of some thoughts so i am here to deliver!!
thinking about having your first time with woozi. tbh i can see it taking Months until he finally works up the courage to finally talk about sex with you,,, not because he’s nervous or anything but he likes you sooo much and doesn’t want to be pushy or give u the idea that he’s a pervert (even if he is cus u drive him a little insane). he’d be sooo gentle,,, double checking that what he’s doing is okay and moaning into you when you respond positively to whatever he’s doing.
alternatively i’m thinking abt the first time he gets a little rough with you. maybe he’s stressed or something but he has all this steam he needs to blow off and the gym just isn’t cutting it. it’s such a switch up from how tender and soft he is as a boyfriend it makes your head spin. as soon as he realizes he’s being rough he stops n is like “wait i’m so sorry i didn’t mean to be so rough w u” but actually him displaying his strength has u dripping everywhere n u tell him that and he double checks that you’re okay before he manhandles you n pins ur wrists to the bed.
ooo ooo ooo!! i’m also thinking about,,, bcs we get ttt next week for gose,,,, going on a little camping trip w him n the rest of the boys and they’re all having a good time n woozi decides to drink cus he does that now,,, n he feels like a horny drunk to me but like not overly horny. he just needs you, and he’s drunk so he’s clingyyyy. i can see him sobering up a little bit still needing you so when it’s time to wind down and go to bed (or when he decides he can’t deal with the noise of everyone doing drunk karaoke) he pulls you into the bedroom n lays down beside you n fucks you from behind,,, like spooning you,, with his hand over your mouth to keep you quiet. n it’s so intimate bcs you’re so close to each other n he’s biting down on your shoulder to keep himself quiet.
ugh god he drives me sooo insane. if i have any more thoughts i will think them into your inbox.

baby fever anon… the BUTTERFLIES I GOT
first time with hoonie 😵💫😵💫
* both of you being nervous to talk about the subject
* it got to a point where anytime you kiss him for longer than a second he wants to pounce on you
* when you both finally talk and you tell him you’re ready, he’s so nervous
* he doesn’t want to hurt you; he’s never took someone’s virginity before and he really does not want to fuck up the experience for you
* when you finally get to it, he’s so sweet. he’ll prep you so well, praising you while you moan for him to do more
* i dont think he’s much of a talker during sex but when he finally slips in he’ll tell you how good youre doing and that’s there’s only a little more to go there is a lot more to go..
* he’d kiss youre lips gently, murmuring into them to relax and its okay..
* he’d look you in the eyes as if to ask are you okay? should i stop? you practically read his mind when you mewl for more seconds after
* he’d make you cum so many times before finally finishing into a condom, not knowing how you would feel about it being on your bare skin yet
jihoon being rough for the first time is something my sick mind has thought about before and ughhh
* he’s the sweetest fucking boyfriend you could ask for
* quite literally worships the ground you walk on
* So, when he gets in a mood, he will never see you in that state, resorting to working out to clear his head and calm his nerves
* today was a shitty day for jihoon. after work he goes to the gym to fix his attitude but he could not shake the feeling. it was getting late though, so he went home to you
* he gets home and you can tell his mood is different. as the two of you stand at the kitchen counter talking you can see his unfocused eyes looking at you.
* you start talking about your day and even though he loves hearing you talk about anything random he just wanted to kiss you.
* grabbing your hips tightly and pushing you into the counter, he mumbles a shut up before mashing his lips on yours. before he got too carried away, he hears your caught-off-guard voice squeak at the sudden actions.
* “fuck- baby im sorry, didnt mean to surprise you like that.. did i hurt you” he apologizes, removing his tight grip of your hips.
* you shake your head no, face flushed from his kiss still. “liked it. you can be rough if you want to, ji….” you murmur out, too shy to even meet his eyes.
* before you know it, he’s jackhammering into you on said kitchen counter, manipulating your body for his own pleasure. his feral groans echo in his apartment and you can’t think about anything but how mean he’s being and how much you love it
fucking in secret.. he’s such a cliché JKJK
* hoonie inviting you to an overnight get together with his members
* typical seventeen party shenanigans ensue and everyone is drunk.. including your boyfriend who lost one too many drinking games
* the night progresses and you can feel that jihoon refuses to leave your side at all. while you two watch the others sing karaoke, he has you in his lap, his bright red face leaning on the back of your neck and his hands hugging your waist
*you finally decide to slip away (more like jihoon practically pulled you away, mumbling something about loud dumbasses) into your shared room. you can still hear the boys singing but you were partied out and so was jihoon.
* he pulls you into his arms, spooning you. he kisses your neck softly. he mumbles something into your skin that you dont catch but soon you feel him growing hard behind you
* “‘m sorry, doll. lemme fuck you.. need you so badly” he softly moans, grinding into your clothed thigh. you say yes, instantly feeling the effects of his words.
*when he finally fucks into you, he’s still in the spooning position, too lazy to move.
*but when he hears your moans, he’s quick to cover your mouth with his hand. “mmh baby- gotta be quiet. d-don’t want anyone finding out what we’re doing in here, right?”
*he starts to fuck you harder, humping you like he was insane and even with his hand on your mouth, moans still slipped out, loud and proud
* he was no better. his groans filled the room and he knew it was only a matter of time before someone would catch on so he bites you. your shoulder jumps at the sharp pain felt and a moan falls from your mouth but jihoon clamps his hand harder over it
* “so fucking loud, doll. fuck- so warm! need to stay in you forever…” he reached his tipping point, cumming into you and stilling immediately, hand slipping off your face. you sigh as you hear his heavy breathing
* he fell asleep. fucking lightweight
a/n THESE WERE SO CUTE UGJWJEBE now i wanna write a full semi public sex jihoon fic tho…

This is Going To Get Us Burned For Being Witches, Isn’t It?
Chapter 1: The World Turned Upside Down
Notes: *Tries to make it historically accurate* My google searches are absurd, guys. I don’t know how people in the 1700’s spoke, leave me alone please, I’m just a little guy! There were contradicting sources on what color Hamilton’s eyes were. I tried to find ppl from Hamilton’s actual life, friends from Kings College and such.
I don’t know whether I want to change the year and have a different plot or something else. Because I have zero ideas on where to place Olympus. I am open to suggestions at any time though! Feel free to do so!
This week was hectic for me! And next week is going to be even more hectic for me! Expect a chapter in the next two weeks. Happy Yom Kippur!
So. . .you may be wondering how I got to camp in the first place? It’s not really–heroic? It’s not heroic, okay! I'm fourteen for gods’ sake! Leave me be!
I wasn’t born in New York, hell, I wasn’t born on the mainland. I wasn't really born at all, but I’ll explain that later. I was born in the year of seventeen-fifty-seven and raised in Charleston on a British owned Island called Nevis.
According to my–to my mother, she had found me in her house, in a basket on her bed, with a note. She never–she never told me what the note said, but she took me in with no questions. She named me Alexander, because she knew I would be great. I was raised with a brother, James Jr., and my father. . .James Hamilton. We didn’t exactly–we didn’t get along.
I was raised alongside my brother. . .and with my father. For ten years. That was–until he left, something about bigamy, and–other stuff I’d rather not mention for at least a little while.
When I was ten, my mother and I got sick, sick with yellow fever. I got sick first and I gave it to her. We would lay in that bed for hours on end, days on end. That’s when he left, too much of a bother to deal with us. With the limited medicine, it helped me, it helped her. But it wasn’t enough. It wasn’t–it wasn’t enough. I got better, but she didn’t.
Within the next year, when I was eleven, she passed from yellow fever.
We were sent to live with our cousin, Peter Lytton. My brother blamed me, he blamed me for months. While I was with my cousin, I worked. I needed to make myself into something, someone. I couldn’t die there, on that island. I couldn’t let my mother down.
A few months later, I was working as a clerk, and when I came home–he was hanging. I tried to get help, I ran until my lungs were sore and my head spun, screaming for help, but it was no use. Peter Lytton was dead.
My brother looked at me with such remorse when he got back from his own job. He looked at me with blatant disgust. I won’t say it didn’t hurt. Even now, as I write this, I think he blamed me.
Not long after that, he left. He left to go pursue an education.
I worked a whole year more at my clerk job, saving as much money as I could. Skipping meals, and working extra hours. It was grueling, but it was worth it.
Then the hurricane came when I was fourteen, and destroyed my home. I was devastated, but I was too stubborn to give in, to give up. I wrote an article on it, and got it published in the newspaper. I didn’t know it at the time, but it touched the hearts of the people of the island, so much so that they pooled money to send me to the mainland, to New York, to pursue an education.
I didn’t know how much they cared, but cared, they did. They saw my writing, and they loved it. They wished for me to get an education. I would thank them all individually over and over if I could.
Less than a week later, I was on a ship to the mainland, to New York. I was ready to pursue a new life, even though I was leaving everything behind.
But I was naive, so very naive back then.
I had landed in Boston and made my way to New York City. Boston was large, with protests in the streets and newspapers of scandal about and around. New York was smaller, albeit not quieter at all whatsoever, but a little less. . .mad? Unstable? Unhinged? Certainly, unhinged summarized Boston.
New York City had pubs and lodges all around, with brick and dirt roads. It was the place to be. I was in awe. . .when I bumped into a fellow running from the opposite direction, who ended up falling far backwards on his hind.
“Dear me, good sir, are you alright?!” I asked, rushing forward, and holding out a hand to help him up. The man firmly grabbed my hand, standing up and letting go of my hand to brush himself off.
He wore a tan waistcoat over a white collared shirt, with larger sleeves and darker brown breeches. He wore a dark tan coat that went down to the backs of his thighs, with narrow, buttoned wrists. An ivory cravat was fastened around his neck, with stocking’s underneath his breeches. He wiped off his square-toed buckle-fastened shoes off the bricks, a warm brown tricorn hat lying upon his head. His brown hair was fastened with a ribbon into a low ponytail. His warm brown eyes contrasting to his pale skin.
“I’m–I’m alright,” the man reassured, meeting my own bright blue gaze. “Robert Troup,” he introduced, holding out his hand to shake. “But most simply call me Robert or Dick.”
I held out my hand to his and shook it firmly. “Alexander Hamilton,” I paused. I hadn’t really had many interactions with people my age, which is what the man seemed to be. “–but you may call me Alex,” I finished, smiling in a nervously warm manner.
The man’s expression changed, eyes widening when I mentioned my name, which was strange, but I elected to ignore it in favor of shaking his hand. He seemed like an alright fellow, and perhaps he would be my first friend.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is called naivety. This will be understood once you read far later into this book, which I might add, is most likely very long. But I wouldn’t know yet, I’m only on page four.
But regardless, the fellow was nervous, but firm and standing tall. “New to the area?” he asked.
I chuckled. “How could you tell?”
“You’ve got a spark in your eye,” he responded, scratching the back of his neck. “Like you hold the world’s hopes in your eyes.”
“I was always told the eyes were the windows to the soul,” I attempted to joke, catching a small chuckling smile from Robert.
“Still trying to find a place to stay?” he asked me.
“I am–I don’t even know where to begin to look for work or lodging–” I admitted, grinning sheepishly.
“You can come stay with me–and with my family, in Long Island,” he interrupted, a nervous smile on his face.
I couldn’t notice at the time, but he was clearly trying to get me to ignore another part of the story he was telling.
“Would I be so grateful as to take the company of your family and yourself?” I repeated rapidly. “I would be overjoyed!”
“Wonderful!” Robert exclaimed, adjusting his coat. “I rode a wagon here, for some business related to my father, as his emissary. I am heading home tomorrow, if you would care to join me?” he asked.
His words were smooth and calculated, but nervous.
“Then we better make haste,” I responded, smiling cheekily.
The next day wasn’t much different to the day prior, much travel and much more conversing though.
Robert was an interesting man, although he was my age, he was working for his father’s business. He was born in Elizabethtown, New Jersey, but moved up to New York for his father’s business as a child. He had been studying finance and law for many years alongside his brothers.
He asked howI spent my childhood. I told him how I wrote essays after the hurricane, studied finance, law, French and other such subjects. I told him of how intrigued I was in the sights of knowledge, which gave him a puzzled expression for a single moment.
I didn’t tell him of my mother. He needn't learn of her demise.
We had reached Long Island by nightfall, and Robert had mentioned a farm hostel close enough to us that we could lay there to rest for the night. In the past few hours of the afternoon, he had been antsy and anxious, no matter how much he attempted to dissuade the feelings or hide it entirely.
He kept his eyes on the road, checking behind him every so often, like he felt eyes over his shoulders.
We were conversing over a minor topic, a topic I can’t even recall now, over the roar of something utterly terrifying.
Fear lined Robert’s moonlit features, his eyes fearful as he hurried the wagon along at a faster pace. I wanted to ask what was going on, but it was clear that Robert didn’t wish to speak at the moment.
Then he brought the wagon to an abrupt stop, pulling at the horse’s reins to stop it, grabbing his bag and my own, yanking me out of the front of the wagon.
“Run to the barn,” he told me, pushing my bag into my chest. “The–the people there will help you. I’ll try and hold it off–”
“Hold what off?” I asked, my heart racing, bag clutched against my chest.
He pushed me forward, in the direction of the old, wooden barn. “Just. Run.” He stressed, pulling out a shotgun from the back of the wagon and cocking it.
His tone didn’t leave any chance for disagreement, so I bolted in the direction of the barn, as fast as my legs, and lungs could take me. That was until I heard the roar again, and the sounds of gunshots, and screams.
I wrestled with the thought of going back, as I was so close to the barn. I could follow Robert’s instructions and go to the barn, or I could run back and help. Another roar, scream, and gunshot later, I had made my decision.
The roars were louder as I approached, and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There was a bull-man. You read that correctly. Bull-man. It had the head of a bull, but the furry body of a man, with no pants on. A monster, truly. A monster with no decency, and Robert seemed to be fighting it.
I had to blink a few times to attempt to see what Robert was doing. He didn’t look quite human either.
I felt as if I was hallucinating. He had hooves for feet.
He was holding a falchion sword in one hand, a shotgun strapped to his back, a gunpowder scent exuding from it.
He lunged at the beast, twisting and turning to avoid its giant, furry hands.
I ran to the wagon, not far from where the fight was taking place. I rummaged through the bags, trying to find something to fight with. I found a sword, similar to the one that Robert held. I clutched it, before running back into the fray of the fight.
I ran up behind the beast, Robert trying to fight it from the front and avoid its thrashing blows. It was a split second until he had noticed me, but a moment too late to caution me to halt in my actions.
I jumped as high as I could, stabbing the beast in the upper back, before being smacked by a giant, furry hand and being knocked several dozen feet in one direction, bashing into the bottom of a tree.
My back ached and my head spun, but the beast was turning to dust in my dwindling vision. I heard Robert’s distant cries and pleas for help, before I succumbed to the darkness of sullied sleep.

Snippet #1 - Aftermath
Obi-Wan and Dragon!Anakin escape, with the main casualty being Anakin’s arm. This is the late-night, unedited, rambling edition of a conversation that comes later- after the reveal that Dragon!Anakin is In Fact Vader The Sith.
Dw tho. I’m sure things go fine later. Mace is gonna be thrilled.
•Snippet Below!•
“Vader… your arm needs treatment. This ship’s kit barely has a decent strip of bacta, you need professional medical treatment-“
“Then drop me off at the next spaceport, and go home, Obi-wan.”
The Jedi seemed torn, and at that he could only growl through clenched teeth. The room swayed, another flash of pain left him almost breathless, clouding his senses and adding to the fog coating his thoughts.
Obi-Wan was shaking his head. Why was Obi-Wan shaking his head?
“I’m not going to abandon you.”
“Why not?!”
“Because you are injured! Severely!”
“That has never stopped anyone before!” Anakin’s growl turned thunderous, eyes flashing sickly golden-yellow. Obi-Wan faltered, before setting his jaw and staring back just as fiercely.
“Jedi do not just discard their allies- their friends- so easily.”
“Good, because I am neither-“ Anakin hissed, irritation and pain fueling his ire against this stubborn, stupid old man. “- I am a Monster, Jedi Knight. Worse even- a Sith Monster.” He spat, teeth sharpening into fangs even as a white-hot pounding in his bones warned against any further shift.
“I don't need your mercy or your help.”
The sad look he got from Obi-Wan in response only stoked the flames. With a bitter curse he moved to stand- only to try and brace himself with his missing hand. A guttural cry ripped from his throat as the roughly-bandaged remains of his forearm failed him, sending him to the floor in a rather inelegant heap.
Or well- he would’ve ended up there had Obi-Wan not caught him. He fell limp against the Jedi, his remaining hand clutching the other’s robes as he let himself be guided down to their knees. The gentleness and care that Obi-Wan took startled him, so abruptly different from his usual existence. It felt utterly surreal, like this was all merely a fever dream.
“No monster would’ve saved my young padawan like you did- no sith would’ve taken the care to ensure safe escape for all those slaves at the camp.”
“…” Anakin shivered, falling into the warmth of the Jedi holding him up, breathing ragged and broken. His arm burned, his senses felt muddled- the force was muted in a way it never had been before and instinctively, he knew it was associated with the loss of his arm. It would never be the same again.
“I- I am no friend of the Jedi.” His voice felt hoarse, and his words lost their bite. He was pretty sure he’d reopened something and was bleeding all over Obi-Wan. “You and Ahsoka don’t count. You’re both crazy.”
He got a quiet chuckle at that.
“But I’m serious. What do you think will happen when you bring me back to that fancy temple of yours on Coruscant?”
“You’ll get medical treatment, and proper care afterwards. You have valuable information- a deal could be struck for your safety. A sort of witness protection.”
Anakin could only blink up at the man owlishly, his sheer naivety astounding. “Obi-Wan…. I’ll be put in suppressing cuffs and thrown in the brig. They’ll torture whatever information they want out of me and then kill me if they know what’s good for them.”
Even before he was done talking, the other’s head was shaking ‘no’. Again. Damn him.
“Please- trust me. If you can’t trust the Jedi, trust in me. I won’t let your wounds go untreated- you lost your arm saving us, Vader. If you don’t get treatment now you may lose your life-“ his voice cracked, and to Anakin’s flagging consciousness, the emotion over something so trivial made absolutely no sense.
But… Obi-Wan believed it. The truth of his promise chimed out into the force, even muted as it was. He was so, so tired…..
“Fine.” He huffed, “do as you see fit.” Black spots flitted in and out of his vision- making his head hurt something fierce. He thought he may have heard his name being called as his eyes slid shut and he slumped against the warmth at his side- but he was unconscious again before it could matter.
Obi-wan was left holding his new charge- hoping desperately that he wasn’t making some horrible, horrible mistake.

one time, mark has a total meltdown due to a build up of a fuck ton of stress-- he's so overwhelmed with work, tours, his album, and home life.... the easiest thing it seems for him to balance (or.. get rid of.. is home life). he spends 99.999% of his time at work anyhow, so no one'll miss him if he disappears. and the more he thinks about it, the more he realizes the whole thing is a bad idea. a terrible idea! he's in over his head getting involved with multiple people... involved with guys-- guys he knew for so long and considers as his best friends.
so he packs up and leaves when he knows no one is around. ahri's at work, the boys are busy with ilichil rehearsals (he got out of it by pretending to be sick). the house is quiet as he stuffs a duffle bag with enough things to last him until he can have someone collect the rest of his things after he finds his own place, somewhere small since he won't be there the majority of the time anyhow.
when the boys and ahri get home, they're confused. where's mark's clothes that were in the laundry doyoung was doing? where are the protein bars mark stocks up on in the pantry? why does his room look eerily dark and quiet when he was supposed to be home in bed, sick-- ahri even got off work early just to rush home to take care of him. johnny planned on making soup, doyoung was going to put mark in clean clothes, haechan was going to ask what work mark needed to do so that hyuck could do it instead, taeyong was finally going to ask what was going on with mark since he'd grown quiet and reclusive within the past few weeks. they knew he was stressed and tired, but...... he was acting really, really weird........... and now this? what was going on with him? they tried calling, but he didn't pick up. was he throwing another one of his tantrums? why? they hadn't pranked him, hyuck wasn't playfully ignoring him. they thought that they were all on good terms........
"maybe he went back to the office," jaehyun theorizes calmly in order to keep ahri calm and prevent yuta from sending out a search party. johnny checks the life360. mark left. when? why? "i'll call him," ahri says, dialing mark's number; but it immediately goes to voicemail.
eventually, mark has to own what he did. at work, the boys immediately surround him to begin their interrogation-- where did he go? where did all of his belongings go? why's he been acting so weird? "i can't do it anymore. i'm sorry." "what?" hyuck questions quietly. "i can't keep doing this...... i just... i'm overwhelmed. and im not like the rest of you, so i just. i need time to myself, to do my work, focus on my music." the boys honestly don't know what to say or do. they try to offer advice and solutions, ones that include having him back at home with the rest of them, but mark shakes his head.
he gets sick for real in the following days. camped out in a hotel since he can't find an apartment quite yet, he wakes up with a sore throat, heavy eyes, a fever, an a cough that only gets worse as the day progresses. his stress is catching up to him. overworking himself has finally come back to bite him in the ass. he doesn't sleep, he doesn't eat, he spends his waking moments worrying over every little thing there is in his life........ and now he's sick... he can't even roll out of bed. he tries, because they have work to do, but his symptoms only seem to get worse the more he fights against his illness. the boys' worries only increases when mark doesn't come to practice, and all of the lyric writers are wondering why he missed his meeting time for his solo. yeah, it's so far in the future, but albums take time to make, and HE'S the one up their asses about working day and night to make it perfect, so why can't he show up to his own meeting? "did he say which hotel he's staying at?" jungwoo asks. the boys all shake their heads. "do you think his manager would tell us where he is?" doyoung asks. johnny says he'll try calling mark's manager, but who knows what good it'll do.
meanwhile, ahri finally gets mark to open the door to his hotel room after knocking for about two minutes straight. her heart sinks when she sees the state of him. he already soaked through his pajama shirt with sweat, so he had discarded that hours ago; his skin's pale, his eyes are suken in, his lips are chapped, and he can barely stay upright. ahri catches him and helps him back to the bed. "have you taken any meds?" "no." "have you had anything to eat or drink?" "no." "fuck, mark... ok, there's a convenience store downstairs, i'll grab stuff for you. stay here." mark falls asleep on the bed while ahri races to get meds and food. mark called earlier, and all he could do was cough and croak out the name of his hotel, but that was enough to prompt ahri to drop everything and race over to help him. she babies him when they're back together-- he's cuddled up against her, the meds slowly doing their job to make him better, but they also make him sleepy. she tries to get him to eat something and drink some water before he passes out, but there's only so much he can stomach. at least he's trying. "my poor boy," she coos woefully as she brushes his sweaty hair out of his face. he squeezes her waist and mumbles tiredly, "i miss my bed, noona." "i know" "i miss home" "i know...."
by the time he's better, the color is back in mark's face, his eyes are lit with life, and he's able to eat and drink enough to regain his energy. he's still cuddled up with ahri... much to her surprise. after how he left things-- well, how he ended things-- she thought that he'd want nothing to do with her ever again, but even in his lucid state, he's still curled up in her arms, mumbling all the thoughts that have been building up in his head for the past few weeks to lead to this breakdown. talking it out helps. he doesn't feel alone or sad anymore.... and he regrets that he took it all out on them when he doesn't actually want to leave home or break up with them. he was scared, yes, but..... he loves them more than anything, so he just feels like a stupid asshole for letting the rest of his anxieties impact his relationship with them. she tells him that they all wished he wouldve just talked to them first. "i know, noona, im sorry.... do you think they'll forgive me?" ahri laughs, "of course they will. they just want to help you. only if you'll accept it, though." mark nods eagerly and says that he really needs their help balancing it all and being a good comfort for him so that he can relax when he doesn't have to worry about work.
the boys are infinitely relieved when they come home to find mark's things back where they belong, and in mark's bedroom is mark, asleep, cuddled in ahri's arms. "the meds knocked him out again about twenty minutes ago." haechan immediately flings himself onto the bed so that he can rest with mark-- the boys all tell him to be careful because mark's sleeping, but hyuck is too happy to hold him back. all the boys are extremely happy. so when mark wakes up, he's thoroughly relieved when he finds his bed full, haechan and jungwoo and yuta all sleeping alongside him while ahri continues to hold him. he tells them later at dinner everything he told ahri at the hotel-- everything about his stress and that he's sorry he took it out on them. as expected, they aren't mad at him. taeyong immediately jumps in to think of ways they can help him with planning his solo; the rest of them are figuring out ways to unload the burden he has in 127, and haechan's already texting the dreamies about how he's going to be helping mark out more than usual so they needed to behave themselves. mark's glad to be home. and he makes sure to never burn out like that again-- if he ever feels like the weight is becoming too much to bear, he immediately goes to the boys about it for help, and ahri comforts him the best through it.

HellO Cole! Taking the time to bring to you: alpha Peem in a rut ;)
I feel like when alpha Peem is in a rut, he somehow becomes even gentler and this goes straight to Phum's heart + dick. He also becomes all clingy and needy and he is CONSTANTLY scenting Phum which is,,,,very distracting,,,,
I have this very specific scenario in my head which goes like: Phum is in the kitchen trying to figure out which one of the three dozen spoons are Tan's housewarming gift and which are from aunt pui's cafe because he kept picking them up and now he has to return them—and enter Peem, in his rut for the first time since they started dating.
And, okay. They've talked about this. Phum was told to expect "moodiness", "some hunger pangs for the weirdest things", "restlessness" aside from the usual rut-symptoms. But here Peem comes out of the bedroom, completely shirtless, and envelopes Phum in the warmest backhug and his rain is now tinged with something sharper that makes it feel like Phum is in the middle of a thunderstorm, but the thunderstorm is at his mercy, the thunderstorm is home. And Peem nuzzles into him, pressed as close to Phum as he can be, and Phum suddenly knows.
Peem is in his rut.
So alpha Peem follows Phum around all day, growls like a pitiful dog when Phum gets overwhelmingly shy and tries to hide from him, and Phum's own scent is doing all kinds of embarrassing acrobatics in the air around them—and he always has a hand on Phum's thigh or elbow or lower back, always touching, always caressing, smiling in an almost dazed, dreamy way that clogs up Phum's throat something bad.
They somehow end up in the kitchen again when Peem's rut gets to it's full capacity and for the first time since he's known him, Peem whines. Right in Phum's ear. And it's a sound that shouldn't be doing it for Phum like it's doing it for Phum, but he kind of sways back into Peem's arms because holy shit.
And then Peem asks him, all restrained and pretty, if he can knot Phum. Right here right now.
And it becomes a recurring thing after that because each time Peem is in a rut and whines and acts needy for Phum, asking, "baby can I please knot you right here? please?" (they're rarely ever in the bedroom when the rut first takes effect), it drives Phum INSANE. Because Peem becomes somehow even gentler and Phum would honest to god undress in public and hop on his dick if Peem asked him to in that voice.
OMGG this ask was not supposed to go on for this long I'm sorry Cole. Ah. Do with it what you will because they are camping inside my brain.
*sits you down* Okay. *sits down in front of you.* Alright, listen, you absolute amazing glorious human being.
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN LONGER ITS PERFECT ITS LITERALLY THE MOST PERFRCT ASK ON TUMBLR.
All I can do about this is humbly ask you if I could transform this ask into a one-shot pertaining to the omega phum universe because you deserve to have full fledged Clingy, Whiny, Needy Alpha Peem In Rut thrown right back at you. Him begging to knot Phum everywhere, Phum losing his mind because he never saw his boyfriend like this.
You deserve more than 10k of this, of Phum trying to travel the journey that is Peem’s first rut after they get together.
I already have a one-shot for Phum’s first heat after they get together because the main fic won’t cover it and like everything in this universe, Phum has a difficult relationship with his heats, so I need to write it (and it has cockwarming because star inflicted me with cockwarming fever). But I would be HONORED if you’d let me try a one-shot with Peem’s rut inspired by this glorious, glorious ask.
#phumpeem#alan i would camp in your brain as well#just to be witness to all the ideas you have in there#the infinite and divine creativity of your mind#its a wonderful place i bet

So, when the cattle fall dead and the waters run red, I'll be your lamb's blood on the wall/God isn't dead, but that's exactly what I've been dreading after all the meek inherited fuck all/Jesus Christ, I will die for my own damn sins if you help those who help themselves/My superstitions, your visage, my visions furtherin' the fever of your fervor, for believing, I will

"the DEDICATION, the DEVOTION to whoever you can imagine is being sung to...the imagery is so so so good 😩 it's so catchy, it gets stuck in my head every time i listen to it, the emotions are just so good...you can imagine an individual so deeply infatuated with their lover to the point of revering them as holy, to the point of death...the way the word choice just flows so smoothly is so good aughhh- its also got surprisingly good loopability, in my opinion. 10/10 i want to beam this song into my brain it makes me froth from the mouth and shiver like a rabid animal and i'll be DAMNED if i don't make an oc inspired by it eventually. all the lyrics are peak. i am getting riled up just thinking about this song, will wood is elite"
"1. I want to sing this to my Muse. (If I had one...) 2. Will Wood songs just slap. 3. I've listened to the CHnT podcast, and get *all* the references! (Pink Elephant Man starts a cult dedicated to the camp nurse) 4. I'm using this song for the antagonist of my story, who gives yandere vibes."

If it were me/I would be a good wife I would never doubt you/Ours would be a good life/And we could be/Better than so many/I would never stress you/About bringing home a penny/For all these things/Another life/I’ll have to wait/Would’ve been perfect/If only god had wanted/We’ll never know as we get old/Let’s not talk about it, rest your head upon my shoulder
"That feeling when you’re in love with your straight best friend and it’s unspoken but you both know it but neither of you will ever acknowledge it because you value the friendship more than a possible chance at love and you know they can’t reciprocate"

Hey faulty, it’s currently 4am and I’m feeling really sick rn aha. Could you maybe do a oneshot of Iida x fem reader where she gets sick at night? Like they’re on a camping trip with the class 1A and they end up having to share a bed? (Cliché ik but I love this trope sue me) and she gets sick at night. I’m talking fever keeping her up until 3am then going to the restroom in the bedroom to puke. She doesn’t want to wake up iida and tries to just deal with it alone.. but she ends up waking iida up anyway when she goes to the restroom. She got so hot that she had to take off her t shirt but left the sweats on. She’s in a white tank top btw. (For plot you’ll see) Iida knocks on the door bc like he’s worried ya know? She says it’s open and then a few min later after talking, she asks him to bring her a black tank top from her luggage bc the one she has on is kinda see through. She’s red from the fever btw. Iida brings it and she turns her back and just slips it off to replace it with the black one. Normally shy but friendly reader would feel embarrassed in changing in front of him (and even being in a tank top) , but at this point, she feels like dog water so she doesn’t care. When she quickly slipped the white tank over her head, iida gets flustered (you know naturally bc u know girl he likes). He’s gonna turn around (or act how iida acts) but he sees some scars on her back for just 2 seconds. This leads to late night caring and reader opening up about trauma from rich parents. (Think like Killua from hxh just for the abuse he went through- parents wanted to make reader really strong and we’re obsessed over it-she’s in a better home now tho with a relative)
iida and fem reader are in the “I kinda like you a lot but I’m not going to do anything bc I love our friendship rn phase.”
Could you make it cute and fluffish and domestic? (I think that’s how u use that word lol) Reader and iida grow closer through it too. I’m sorry this ask is so specific lol, I have a vision in mind. I also think sweet shy fem reader x iida is really cute. (This is not self indulgent at all aha😂)
It’s ok if ur not up to it.. tho I would be really happy if u did write it up. I love ur fanfics!! Been a fan for like 3 years even before I had tumblr!(❁´◡`❁) just lemme know if ur busy rn or don’t wanna write it! No pressure. :)
Thank you!
[ Alright! Sorry this took a bit, but I hope you're feeling better and I hope I did this story justice. It was kind of fun to write, I like the whole "I like you but need to stay friends" trope because it can always grow into something more. Anyways, I tried to make Tenya flustered just enough in this fic. I love embarrassing him. ]
“Are you most certain you’re correct?” Tenya urged, and Izuku held up a piece of paper muttering under his breath. “That’s w-what I counted,” he replied before yelping when Katsuki grabbed the back of his head. “Shut the hell up already!” he snapped before glaring at Tenya.
“Who the hell cares if two of us have to share a damn bed!? It’s your fault for not accounting for this, four-eyes,” he growled, making Tenya frown in response. “I am afraid that I did not anticipate the weather causing our pre-scheduled camping trip to be postponed,” he explained, slightly annoyed by Katsuki’s behavior.
He wanted to make graduation special and insisted that Class A take a camping trip. However, due to the rainy weather and the persistence of his female classmates, the choice to pull over and book hotel rooms for the night was made.
“Yeah yeah, whatever,” Katsuki responded, releasing his hold on Izuku. “Come on you spikey-haired idiot!” he growled at Eijirou who nervously chuckled. “Well, I guess that means Bakugou and I are taking the first room,” he said.
“Best of luck figuring out who shares the one-bedroom suite for the night!” With that, he waved goodbye and chased after Katsuki. “Mineta and I can share a room!” Kaminari announced. “Yes, and Jirou and I can share a room,” Momo said.
“Mm, very well,” Tenya replied, looking at Izuku and Shoto. “I assume you two wish to share a room,” he said. “Oh w-well uh…” Izuku tried to reply but Tenya ignored him. You were sitting on one of the provided chairs in the lobby of the hotel, remaining quiet as you watched the scene unfold.
You coughed and cleared your throat a few seconds later. “Are you okay Y/n?” Tsuyu questioned laying her hand on your back. You nodded. “Uh, yeah just a bit of a sore throat,” you replied, rubbing it to ease the discomfort.
“Everyone please, pair up in groups of two and take a room key!” Tenya announced, and you looked at Tsuyu. “Go ahead,” you said, waving her away. “I don’t care who I spend the night with,” you soon regretted those words when only Tenya and you were left.
“Forgive me,” he said, unlocking the hotel room and turning on the light. “I hope this accommodation does not cause discomfort for you,” he said, gesturing you into the room. He could hear a steady stream of rain hitting the window and vicious thunder rumbling outside.
“I guess this camping trip turned out...s-sour, huh Iida?” you tried to joke, but he didn’t seem to find any humor in your words. Your smile faded and you folded your hands in front of you, focusing on the floor. ‘Well, that didn’t turn out the way I wanted’ you thought with rosy cheeks.
You moved out of the way when Tenya walked into the room, placing the bags on the floor by the bed. He insisted on carrying yours, and it didn’t come as a surprise considering he was a gentleman. “Are you feeling well?” he asked, noticing your reddened cheeks.
“Uh…w-what?” you replied, snapping your head up and trembling when he glared at you. “Are you feeling well?” he repeated. “Um, I uh, y-yeah I’m f-fine,” you choked out, thinking that your sore throat was nothing more than the rain irritating your allergies.
“I see,” he walked over to the bed and asked, “Do you prefer sleeping on the left or right side?” You knitted your eyebrows, unsure what he meant. “Uh, w-whichever side is fine,” you replied but knew your answer wouldn't satisfy him, so you thought of a diversion.
“I wanna take a...a shower!” you exclaimed, trying to ignore his now suspicious glance. The worst part was that you could barely stand looking at his gorgeous eyes. “Very well, you are welcome to freshen up in the shower. I trust you have the appropriate slumber wear, yes?” he asked, adjusting his glasses.
“Uh, y-yes,” you said. Maybe taking a relaxing shower would alleviate your throat soreness. “I’ll um, just g-get them from my s-suitcase,” you said, pointing to it. “Um, t-thanks for carrying it for me, uh, b-by the way,” Tenya nodded.
“I do not believe it would be appropriate to expect a lady to carry her luggage,” he explained, watching you open the suitcase and look through it for your sleeping clothes. Once you gathered everything, you scurried to the bathroom and shut the door behind you.
“What is wrong with me!?” you hissed, walking to the large tub, and turning on the water. You stripped your clothes off and carefully climbed inside, sighing in contentment as the water eased your body’s muscles. You lay there for what felt like hours before carefully climbing back out.
Droplets of water fell from your body, creating a rhythmic pattern as they hit the floor. You drained the tub before walking to the sink. You placed your hands on the counter and looked at your reflection in the mirror. You felt a bit odd and wondered if you had spent a little too much time in the tub.
Well, maybe you’d feel better when you lay down. Once you had dried off, you slipped on a white tank top, a short sleeve shirt, and a pair of sweatpants. “The b-bathroom is free,” you said, walking past the bed. “Hm?” Tenya was sitting on the right side of it reading a book.
“Oh, I see. Thank you,” he replied, closing his book, and placing it on the nightstand near the bed. You closed your eyes, feeling an overwhelming urge to lie down. You pulled back the blanket and sat, pressing one hand against the mattress to feel its firmness.
You looked up when Tenya stood, although he didn’t say anything when he gathered his sleeping clothes and headed to the bathroom. You took a deep breath, coughing softly when you laid your head down and pulled the blanket back over you.
The sound of running water accompanied by the rain and thunder that still bellowed outside helped you drift off to sleep, but a few hours later you woke up sweating. “Ah…” you blinked, feeling exhausted, and reached up to touch your forehead. ‘Why am I so hot?’ you thought, wiping your face dry.
Hearing soft snoring, you turned your head. Tenya was lying beside you in blue pajamas and a matching sleeping cap. His face looked content and part of you wondered what he was dreaming about if he was dreaming about anything at all.
‘Maybe this fever will go down if I keep resting’ you thought as you closed your eyes and tried to relax your body. Unfortunately, you found yourself restless and your fever grew more severe, making you whimper on occasion. This combined with the nauseating feeling growing in your stomach finally made you sit up.
“I’m gonna barf…” you muttered, turning to look at Tenya to ensure he was still asleep. The last thing you wanted was to wake him up, especially after all the planning he had put into this camping trip. Besides, maybe it was better you dealt with this by yourself as you never wanted to burden others. You winced, holding your stomach as you stood.
You swallowed hard, tasting acid on your tongue. You turned to look at Tenya one last time before scurrying to the bathroom quietly. Your breathing was heavy and sweat dripped from your skin so profusely that your clothing stuck to your skin making movement uncomfortable.
As you swallowed again, you slowly pulled your arms inside your shirt. You intended to take it off despite being hunched over the toilet. You sighed in relief when the cool air hit your skin, somewhat thankful you made the choice to wear a tank top underneath said shirt.
At the moment, it didn't matter to you that it was white and see-through. You closed your eyes and wiped the sweat from your brow, your mouth salivated so much it dripped down your chin. You dry heaved, feeling your stomach twist until its contents splashed into the toilet.
When you coughed, Tenya's eyes fluttered open and he turned his head, noticing you absent from the bed. He sat up slowly and grabbed his glasses. He was more than certain the noise that had woken him was you.
It was natural that he wanted to check you were okay, so he stood up and walked to the bathroom, noticing that the door was closed. He pressed his ear against it growing more concerned when he heard heavy breathing, followed by sniffles. He frowned and paused before knocking three times.
You snapped your head up, eyes wide but vision blurry as you looked at the bathroom door. “Y/n, do you require assistance?” he asked, and you latched onto your lip to suppress the gag threatening to come. The inside of your mouth tasted sour, and your throat burned.
You shifted your eyes back and forth, knowing if you didn’t answer soon, he’d likely do something drastic. “I…” Your voice was weak, but you tried to push through it. “I…I don’t know,” you replied, before wiping your eyes with the back of your hand.
Your answer alarmed Tenya, and seconds later he heard a toilet flush followed by running water. “What is the matter? Are you feeling ill? Are you injured?” he questioned, feeling ridiculous for talking to you through a door. You took a deep breath, resting your hand on your stomach.
You looked at your reflection in the mirror, noticing your hair was disheveled and your cheeks red. Your eyes looked swollen and irritated, in other words, you were a mess. “I…just…” Maybe it would be better if he saw for himself.
“Um, t-the door is open,” you said reluctantly. “Very well, may I enter now?” came his reply. “…yeah,” the door squeaked, and you wrapped your arms around yourself before turning to face him. His eyes widened upon seeing you, noting your irritated-looking eyes and reddened face.
He didn’t want to assume anything, but you certainly looked ill. “Forgive me, but you look rather...ill and I do not believe I have a thermometer so I cannot take an accurate measure to confirm or deny any possible fever,” he replied, tapping his chin. “I…I’m not running a fever,” you lied.
He narrowed his eyes and reached out. “Pardon my touch,” he said, pressing his hand against your forehead. Yes, it was a rather outdated method to use, but it would allow him to feel your temperature regardless. “Hm,” he raised his eyebrows and lowered his hand.
“Your forehead is rather warm,” he noted. “May I check your pulse?” You blinked in response, hissing softly when you noticed how dry your eyes felt. “Um…okay?” you replied and gasped when he took your wrist, pressing his thumb against it.
The seconds ticked by awkwardly as you clenched your bottom lip. “Your pulse appears slightly elevated, suggesting possible sickness,” he said, lowering your wrist. “Oh um…” you wrapped your arms around yourself again, suddenly anxious, and self-aware of your see-through tank top.
“Hey Iida,” you said, glancing away shyly. “Yes?” he replied. “Uh…c-could you…get me another tank top? The black one from my luggage?” you asked sweetly, nervously rubbing your upper arms. Tenya knitted his eyebrows together, uncertain why you asked for a tank top when you already had one on.
However, out of curiosity, he glanced down, and his eyes widened. He covered his mouth when he noticed that the fabric of your current tank top was rather…well perhaps it was rude to continue to stare at someone's exposed body.
“Y-yes!” he suddenly shouted, immediately looking away from you. His cheeks glowed a furious red color which was accompanied by a feeling of shame. He knew he should not look at a young lady in such a disrespectful manner. It was improper!
After all, he did not mean to look at you that way, but it seems his mistake caused him a bit of embarrassment. “I would be honored to…” He cleared his throat, trying to ignore the unfamiliar heat that ran through his cheeks.
“I would be honored to assist you, please give me a moment,” he said, promptly turning around and scurrying out of the bathroom. He took deep breaths as he opened your suitcase, searching for the black tank top you requested.
Despite his concern about his fast-paced heartbeat, he believed it to be a natural reaction given his feelings toward you. Of course, he didn't want to ruin your friendship by acting on said feelings. “Here we are,” he said, neatly folding the article of clothing before returning to the bathroom.
“I do hope this is the correct item,” he said, hesitantly holding it out. “Yeah,” you replied, taking it. Unless you were in a relationship or classified yourself as a free spirit there was a certain level of modesty when it came to changing in front of the opposite or even the same sex.
However, given how horrible you felt now you didn’t think twice about turning your back on him and removing your current tank top. Tenya’s eyes widened when he realized what you were doing. His cheeks flushed, and he immediately raised his hand, intent on scolding you, but no words came out.
Despite not anticipating activating his engines, his nervous state made them spark to life and a soft rumbling echoed through the air. “P-pardon!” he stuttered and turned to face the door, feeling his heart accelerate again. “Hm?” You paused and briefly looked over your shoulder at him.
‘Weird…’ you thought, before dropping the white tank top to the floor. A groan escaped your lips as you slipped the black tank top over your head. While he knew it was rude to look at you when you were topless or changing, your groan concerned him enough to make him turn his head.
That's when he noticed the scars on your back, and instead of flushing yet again or feeling embarrassed, he grew concerned. Although your scars looked old and healed, he wanted to know what caused them. It is natural for heroes to receive injuries which then created long-lasting scars.
But yours almost looked…well perhaps it was more appropriate he didn't assume where they came from. He turned his head back, feeling the slightest amount of sweat drip down his face and he almost regretted not having brought a handkerchief to bed.
He cleared his throat, tugging at the collar of his pajama top, and was tempted to undo the first few buttons to cool himself. His cheeks were a deep rosy color, and his engines continued to rumble softly although he hoped they were not too audible.
Just as you finished putting your new tank top on, you heard Tenya clear his throat. “Huh?” you raised an eyebrow when you turned only to stare at his back. “Um...” you stepped closer to him, hesitantly reaching out to touch him.
You stumbled back when he trembled in response and turned to face you, his eyes wide and his face red. You blinked, unsure if you had scared him or if he was beginning to feel sick as well. “Um…a-are you okay?” you asked, your heart pounding in your chest.
“I…” he glanced away. His mind filled with images of those scars, and he lowered his eyebrows in thought. Frankly, he wished to address what he had seen but did not want to appear strange or alarming. Furthermore, he did not wish to force information out of you or make you feel uncomfortable.
He cleared his throat once more and raised his hand, chopping it through the air as he said, “P-perhaps it would be best if we retired to the bed to further address your question.” You knit your eyebrows, not fully understanding him. Then again, did anyone understand Tenya?
Maybe his closest friends, but even they seem baffled by his antics sometimes. You placed your hand on your stomach, somewhat relieved you were feeling better. You shrugged. “Okay?” you replied, following him out of the bathroom. Your fever was still high, and you wiped your brow.
For a split second, you debated running to the ice machine. However, the thought of walking down an empty hotel hallway made you feel uneasy. Come to think of it, you didn’t know how late or early it was, not that it mattered because who knows how long Tenya could take to answer your question.
“Please sit,” he said politely gesturing to the bed. You looked between him and the bed before sitting down as requested. The bed gave a soft squeak when he sat down next to you. The two of you exchanged glances before he cleared his throat.
“I…do not wish for you to think I am being disrespectful when I ask this as I understand personal matters are quite difficult to speak about with those you are not close with,” as painful as it was to admit, despite the many challenges Class A went through together, there was still distance between all of you.
Yes, a few classmates had admitted their personal matters and remorse over certain things or times in their lives. However, he noticed that you tended to keep to yourself. While you were kind and compassionate, there was a shy nature about you, and he had noticed you struggle in social situations before.
“W-what do you mean?” you asked, your voice trembling and your anxiety rising. He was silent for a moment, and you noticed his shoulders were stiff. He shifted his legs almost as though he were uncomfortable, but you swear you heard a soft rumbling.
Was his quirk acting up? You quickly glanced at his face, his eyebrows were lowered and there was an uncertain glance in his eyes. His cheeks were slightly reddened, and his hands were in his lap, but you noticed his fingers were interlocked.
“Forgive me, I believe it would be beneficial if I were to explain more clearly. I…” he took a deep breath, laying his hands flat on his thighs. He cleared his throat again and reached up, tugging at the collar of his pajama top.
“I noticed that there were…rather severe-looking scars on your back.” A chill ran down your spine and you leaned away from him. Your eyes were wide, and he expected you to be angry, but instead a look of hurt and dread spread across your face.
You fisted your hand into your chest and the other into the blanket, keeping silent. Tenya frowned. “I…apologize,” he said, carefully placing his hand over yours but immediately jerked back when you gasped. “I…pardon I did not intend for my touch to-” You shook your head.
“N-no, it’s f-fine Iida,” you replied, despite your heart racing in your chest. “It’s just…” you glanced away, “no...n-no one has asked that b-before.” Then again you weren’t exactly the type to flaunt your body and usually changed in the locker room stall.
You latched onto your lip, the thought of your parents made your stomach twist, and you suppressed a dry heave. “Are you well?” Tenya asked, slightly alarmed, and though you nodded, he wasn’t fully convinced. “Forgive me,” he said, standing up from the bed.
“Perhaps I should not have inquired. I did not wish to make you uncomfortable,” he said, turning with the intent of walking to his side of the bed. “N-no!” you cried out, grabbing his arm. He stumbled back and looked at you bewildered.
“Uh…” You blinked, and your cheeks grew red. You felt so hot you were liable to faint, but you shook your head trying to fight through your anxiety. “S-sorry!” you said, quickly letting go of his arm. You swallowed hard, groaning out of embarrassment.
“Um…I…the s-scars are…” you looked away, rubbing the back of your neck. You felt the bed dip when Tenya sat down again. He wanted nothing more than to comfort you and once again extended his hand, placing it on your shoulder.
Your head shot back, looking at him with wide eyes and parted lips. “Please do not be afraid,” he said, his voice hushed and full of concern. Oddly enough, you smiled and nodded. “Right, s-sorry,” you said, glancing at your lap.
Your throat felt tight, but you forced yourself to speak. “The scars…are from the training m-my parents put me through,” you explained, refusing to lift your head to look at Tenya's expression. You expected him to be worried and maybe even feel sorry for you.
Instead, you gasped when he leaned forward and wrapped his arms around you. He knew it was irrational, and he did not know how you would respond. Although he could not confess the feelings he had for you deep down, he would not stop trying to physically prove it to you.
A part of you wanted to push him away because you weren't used to this type of affection, and because you didn't want him to catch whatever you had. But you couldn't help but melt into his touch. He was aware of the training that was deemed necessary in order to become a worthy and true hero.
However, there were other, unethical training methods such as the ones that Shoto went through that proved to leave long-lasting emotional and physical scars. He could not fathom why certain families pushed their children so hard during training.
Yes, a villain would not be easy on a hero, this much was certain. But to inflict such pain that it left physical scars was unacceptable, and it made righteous anger burn deep within him. However, he took a deep breath, calming himself.
“Forgive me,” he said, pulling away. “I…I do not believe I could help myself,” he stated, bringing his hands to his lap. He knew very well that he let his emotions get the better of him and at this moment, he needed to remain focused.
“Would you favor continuing our conversation?” he asked. “Um…well, my p-parents aren’t heroes but…t-they’re rich and w-when my quirk manifested they...” you paused and curled your fingers inward, ignoring how your nails dug into your palms.
He leaned closer with a serious expression on his face. You closed your eyes, sighing. “They…saw promise in it and…wanted to u-use me as a tool. If their daughter c-could be a hero…then it would boost my family‘s name and...r-reputation.” That spark of anger ignited again, but he held himself back from speaking.
You frowned and opened your eyes. “T-they forced me to train...every day. P-pushed me to my limits, and t-that's why I have...scars on my back. They always t-told me heroes don't feel...pain, they just do whatever it takes to gain f-fame.” Your eyes watered over, but you quickly wiped them.
“The...the m-more pain you can withstand, the more l-love you will receive,” you said, continuing to wipe away the tears on your cheeks. “I-I'm sorry,” Tenya frowned, uncertain how to comfort you. “Please do not apologize,” he said, reaching over to gently grab your wrists in order to pull them away from your face.
“You are likely to irritate your eyes further if you continuously rub them,” he explained before cupping your hands in his own. “I am quite honored that you have shared such memories with me, but are you physically and mentally well?” You glanced down, nodding.
“Yeah…” you replied, tightening your grip on his hands. “I live with a r-relative now….” and you hoped it would remain that way. He leaned closer, making you stiffen out of shyness. “Uh…” you dared to look back up and your face flushed when you locked eyes with him.
“I am…grateful to hear you are safe. Please know that I would never allow anyone, not even the fiercest villain to subject you to such injuries or pain.” While you assumed he was lying, the heroic and loving look in his eyes said otherwise.
And the way he embraced you further convinced you. His arm was tightly around your waist, and when he pulled you close, his opposite hand tangled itself in your hair. Whether it was the fever talking or the fact you were a little touch starved, you wrapped your arms around him in return.
His eyes widened and his heart accelerated. Being this close to you was something he always desired, but knew he could not have. At least not now, but there was always hope for the future. After taking a deep breath, he reluctantly pulled back.
His cheeks burned pink, and he cleared his throat, lifting his hand into the air. “Perhaps it would be best if we retired to sleep,” he suggested, and you turned away shyly. “Oh, uh…” How many hours passed anyway? What time was it? You were tempted to look at your phone but decided against it.
“Please allow me,” he said before standing and walking over to your side of the bed. He pulled back the blanket and shifted the pillows. “Hm,” you looked at him with a blank expression but walked over and sat down.
“Place your legs under the blanket,” he instructed and for a moment, you felt like a young child being tucked in but knew you shouldn’t take it that way. Tenya was just trying to be kind and after everything that happened tonight, it felt comforting to be taken care of by someone.
Once your legs were underneath, Tenya pulled the blanket over you and ensured you were comfortable before walking over to his side. Your face was glowing, and you closed your eyes, wishing your fever to go away. When you felt the bed dip, you mumbled and turned on your side so your back faced Tenya.
He glanced at you but said nothing and removed his glasses, placing them on the nightstand by the bed. Then he lay down with his arms by his sides. His attention was focused on the ceiling for a few minutes, allowing silence and your breathing to ease him to sleep.
Morning came too quickly, and the blinds didn’t stop the sunshine from leaking in. You groaned, fluttering your eyes open. Your head ached softly, and sweat droplets trailed down your forehead. You reached up, intent on wiping it but noticed your arms were stuck.
“Huh?” You looked down, and heat rushed over your face when you noticed a pair of arms wrapped around your waist. Your eyes widened and you turned your head, seeing Tenya’s sleeping face, and realized how heavy his body felt against yours.
You snapped your head back and panicked as you thought of the ways you could get out of this situation. You also thought of how to wake him up without making this awkward. Then again, maybe there was no way you couldn’t make this awkward.
You moved your body and wiggled your arms to jolt him awake. “Iida, Iida!” you hissed out, and he moved his head with a soft mumble in response. A deep breath sounded before he slowly opened his eyes. “Are you…a-awake?” you asked nervously, and he nodded.
“Yes…” he replied, lowering his eyelids. “What is the matter?” You shivered at the sound of his raspy voice. “Uh…y-you um…” How could you explain that his arms were wrapped around you? Sucking a breath in, you tapped his arm with your fingers.
“Hm?” He glanced down, and upon seeing the rather inappropriate position you were in, he immediately pulled his arms back. He stumbled out of the bed, and you jolted up when he hit the wall. “Iida!” you cried out, your eyes wide with concern and your hand extended in his direction.
“P-please accept my most humble apologies!” he frantically pleaded, placing his hands on his thighs, and bowing. His sleeping cap slipped off his head and fell to the floor. However, he resisted the urge to pick it up until you responded.
You blinked, and slowly pulled your hand back only to fist it into your hair. Your forehead still felt hot, but somehow you felt better than last night. Your cheeks burned red, and you glanced away, unsure how to respond to Tenya’s frantic exclamation.
“I-it’s fine,” you said softly before pulling the blanket back and hanging your legs over the side of the bed. “Um…t-thanks,” you said as Tenya leaned back up. “Hm?” he responded, looking at you despite your back facing him.
“F-for last night um…” you rubbed the back of your head, “I t-think it helped,” as talking things out usually did. He looked taken aback but smiled, “I am very honored to have assisted you in such a way and I do hope to be of more assistance in the future,” yes, he wanted you to run to him whenever you had an issue.
But he supposed only time would tell whether that type of trust strengthened between the two of you and despite no longer being the class president, he still wanted to be your closest friend. You turned to look at him, slightly surprised before looking at the floor. “Oh um…s-sure, maybe?” you replied, standing up and stretching.
“I suggest we change our outfits and relocate to the lobby as breakfast is served promptly from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Then perhaps we can depart and resume this scheduled camping trip,” he said, reaching for his glasses and slipping them onto his face.
“R-right,” you replied, walking over to your suitcase, and laying it flat on the floor before opening it. You tapped your lips, deciding what outfit you wanted, unlike Tenya who more than likely already had something picked out.
As the two of you walked to the lobby, there was an awkward silence. Part of you wondered if it was your fault, and your anxious thoughts began. What does he think of you now? Is he going to look at you differently? You clenched your jaw, squeezing your eyes shut.
It was almost like something was about to burst out of you but then you heard a familiar voice. “Y/n!” Ashido called, running up to you. “Excuse me Iida!” she said, looping her arm through yours and dragging you away before you could say anything.
Out of instinct or panic, you held your hand out to Iida. However, due to his past experiences with Ashido, he thought it best not to interrupt whatever conversation she wanted with you. “Hey, Iida!” Uraraka called, she was currently sitting at one of the tables available in the lobby with Izuku.
He smiled and looked at you one last time before walking over. “How was your night with Y/n?” she asked when he approached. He paused, recalling last night's events, and cleared his throat. Uraraka tilted her head, noticing the flush on Tenya’s cheeks.
Izuku noticed this as well and they both exchanged a glance before Uraraka smiled. “What happened between you and Y/n last night?!” she questioned excitedly, and Tenya stiffened. “I…I believe I will gather my breakfast,” he stated, quickly walking away from the table and toward the breakfast area.
“Mm…” Uraraka pouted and scanned the room, easily spotting you and Ashido. “I’ll be right back,” she said to Izuku before walking away. “Your flushed face says everything! So, spill it!” Ashido shouted, raising her arms above her head. “Iida was flushing too!” Uraraka said, approaching your table.
You shivered when she turned to you and smiled. “Is everything okay between you two?” she asked suspiciously, and you shook your head. “N-no, I m-mean yes, I...I mean...” you groaned out of embarrassment. You took a breath, trying to gather your composure.
“I was just a-about to tell Mina t-that nothing happened just…” you rubbed the back of your head, glancing at your lap. “We just h-had a talk,” the girls leaned forward, eager to hear more. “A-and well…” you nervously chuckled. “I’m g-glad that he’s my f-friend.” Ashido sighed. “Seriously!?” she cried out, clearly disappointed.
Uraraka frowned and leaned closer to you. “Nothing happened between you two?” she asked, pouting. You nodded and shrugged, “Sorry?” you said before turning your head to look at Tenya who had gathered a plate of food, and happiness washed over you. ‘Yeah...just a friend’ you thought with a bright smile.

Dayum i had a Murder Drones dream bruh
I'll tell ya the clips i remember from it, if any
Soooo there's a point where N is inside a school and he's looking around for sumthin' idfk and he stumbles upon a little girl drone with white eyes and i think jet black hair?? And she's obviously a fun lover that doesn't wanna be here but she recognizes it's a necessity so she rolls with it and does her stuff as told– okay so apparently she's gotta finish some homework about animals, what they are and what they do, the sort, and she's like- talking a lot about her home and how her family has to pay for wifi or sumthin' etc etc and N just goes "oh is that homework? Do you have to describe animals? I can help!"
And then the girl drone (who i'm calling Leni) just goes "yeah it's homework, boring but i gotta do it- it's something about animals, what they do and all- i sortaaaaa didn't finish it because i was bored out of my mind..." And N just spots a Sonic figurine on a shelf somewhere and goes "hey, what if you talked about that guy over there?" He means the Sonic figurine on the shelf, "what does a hedgehog do? Does it like anything? You could describe a hedgehog, it's an animal!" And Leni is just. "Heh, thanks dude!" And my lordy the smile N gives it kills me oughhhh yes baby boy you did a help a girl with homework!!! Uzi is lucky to have you ough
Another clip! There's the typical big dumb creepy guy that puts kids in detention trope! Yeah he just scruffs one like a cat and tosses them onto a hook, hanged like cloth (NOT HURT THOUGH! ALIVE AND HEALTHY!) And they're just "hey dude what did i do?! Get me off this thing!!" And the big creepy guy just. Giggles at 'em as he walks away. Idfk what else happened after that- but it has to do with N???? Did he fuck up????? He's a good boy who did no wrong wtf he stopped killing a long time ago!!! The Uzi simp allegations are exaggerrated!!!!!! Leave him alone bitch!!!!!!!!
So apparently the detention drone is just like. Roaming around the school, and N is just staying out of it's sight at all times– keeping Leni safe from it too because they're buddies now and he's a good boy– and at some point taps his foot on the floor lightly to make a sound to test if it can hear and... It does not. It's big stupid AND probably deaf. Or they're just lucky idk lol
Also Cyn is there too. There's a moment after the whole detention drone shebang where Cyn pops up behind some doors and is accompanied by like- another girl drone with ponytails and black hair that is also Solver infected, and she's already gotten the eldritch claws for hands too so she's probably been infected before even like- Camp Fever, to give you an idea of the time frame, and Cyn is just. "You said "shit" now you're getting punished" and apparently getting taken out of the school is a punishment??? They're just. Grabbed and Cyn fuckin' flies away with them both, leaving them with the rest of the gæng in a like- place with two random drop pods like the ones from episode 1 and 3, and fun fact! V and Uzi are there! They're alive and well! And yes N hugs Uzi first thing, ig Leni gets to meet the rest of the bunch now lol.
Oh yeah there's also Tessa i guess lmfao idk what she's lookin' for now
#murder drones#serial designation n#serial designation v#uzi doorman#md oc#Leni counts as an oc fuck you#i guess she's public domain too since she just popped up in a dream and all and tbh i just don't claim ownership of Leni#i only claim ownership of the fact that she popped up in a dream and is a thing now lol#tessa james elliot#murder drones tessa#murder drones cyn#absolute solver#random dream#Murder Drones dream ig
