Thank you kindly dear anon, i hope your day is going well and that you have rested well and ate well.

Chilchuck was never good with emotions, both his and other peoples. He kept his own emotions hidden so as not to appear vulnerable. And when it came to other peoples emotions he was fine with the positive ones...but quickly became awkward when things turn negative.

In fact he might be the worst (well second worst possibly) when it comes to dealing with emotional issues. So when he walks in and sees you crying he freezes up like a deer caught in the headlights. Its such a foreign sight to him he wasnt even sure if he was seeing it right.

You have always been such a bright cheery person, No matter the situation you were always the one that had the biggest grin across your face telling everyone its going to be ok, to not give up and push on. That was one of the things chilchuck liked about you the most, even if he would talk about how a situation was impossible or that it was to dangerousm you were always the one reassuring him that things were going to be ok. He never said it but it really meant alot to him, usually he would just ignore it or blow it off but he knows deep down it helps him more than he lets on.

He stares at you sobbing, wide eyed for a few moments before quickly making his way over to you. "WOAH woah hey Y/N hey hey its ok! its ok, whats wrong are you hurt?"

He says quickly sitting down beside you putting an arm around you instinctually. He normally isnt one to get physical when it came to comforting people but it was just something he did before he even realized he was doing it.

"Im fine...im just stupid..a stupid stupid idiot...an idiot that should have known better" You said through tears before breaking into sobs again, chilchuck looked around awkwardly before pulling you into him to cry, he sat there patting your back trying to comfort you as best he could. patting your back and repeatedly saying it was ok softly.

Eventually when you finally manage to calm down he wipes away some tears from your face before speaking up. "Now tell me whats going on? what do you mean know beter?" You want to tell him the truth, it had been eating you alive for days and days now. But tonight you realized what the actual truth was, and it was to much and broke you to pieces, it was a truth you had tried to ignore but couldnt and it broke your very being. You dont want to tell anyone about it, let alone him...but you know he wont let you hide away and pretend like this wasnt happening. so you take a deep breath and speak.

"im sorry chilchuck...i know this is going to make you feel awkward...and i know..i know you dont feel the same way.....but i like you, i REALLY like you...i care about you more than anyone else. and i know its stupid and i should just get over it but...it hurts.." you admit to him, not even looking at him, With how you feel right now your sure you wouldnt want him seeing your face right now. He didnt say anything, he only stared wide eyed at you. You should have known this was how he was going to react, you know how he felt about inter group relationships so you know he wouldnt want any part of being with you. However your miserable thoughts were interrupted as he pulled you into a tight hug.

"hey dont talk like that...if there is anyone here thats an idiot its me. I do care about you, I really do. You mean alot more to me than you realize, and you help me stay sane down here." He says squeezing you tight, you sniffle softly as you cant believe what your hearing. "Im not great with emotions...both dealing with other people and my own. Whenever you would be so positive and cheery it would make me genuinely happy, but i didnt want to get to attached so id play it off or something but genuinely you have helped me so much down here. I also have....other reasons on why im so hesitant to show emotions that im not ready to talk about just yet...but i do care about you...in fact i think i might like you the same way you like me. I just struggle being open about things you know? i should have been honest with you and open about my feelings back...that way you wouldnt have to deal with this. Im sorry, But to make it up to you, once we rescue falin and leave the dungeon why dont i take you to dinner?"

You couldnt believe what you were hearing, he had feelings for you to?! you couldnt believe it, you could feel yourself hugging him close as you smiled into his shoulder. "That sounds great, id love to."

How to balance your own life/self improvement & a relationship?

A guide ~

So this is for me because I’m in a loving wonderful relationship for exactly 8 months today but ever since we started dating I threw all my (very high maintenance) routines out of the window in a way I don’t do them frequently anymore.. and I want to start taking beter care of myself again.

So maybe someone else also finds some tips in this post.

🦢 communicate

I think it’s best to start of with the most important one and that’s openly communicating with your partner.

Which means tell them about your values, dreams, goals..

I personally think that can be a difficult thing because it was for me since my girlfriend has always known me as extremely confident in myself (and I still am) so I didn’t want her to know I too would like to change certain things about my life. But I did end up telling her I wanted to start taking beter care of myself again because I’ve being neglecting my good habits.

And good partners will be supportive of you! She was, so if you’re also struggling with this I assure you it won’t go wrong!

🦢 shared goals

To follow up discuss the goals you might have together.

For example maybe both of you want to start exercising? Or setting some extra money to the side for a vacation?

There might be some things you two can do together if both of you are up for that! Which can be a great motivator for some.

🦢 be a little selfish

No this doesn’t mean doing whatever you want without taking into account your partner’s feelings.

For example it is when you want to have some alone time, that you can do so even when your partner spontaneously wanted to go out. You also deserve some time for yourself.

It’s simply giving yourself some things you enjoyed/did when you were single and still being able to do them in a committed relationship.

🦢 compromise

Following that up, also be able to compromise. You obviously aren’t alone in your relationship and just as you’re allowed to want to do your own thing you’d also have to let your partner do the same.

It will not always be the way you planned it, in those situations you’ll have to compromise with your partners wants.

For example you wanted to give yourself a selfcare day but your partner would love for you to come to this family event. Why don’t you join them to the event since it’s important for your partner and do a selfcare day tomorrow if you have time?

🦢 include your partner

Obviously you’re dating this person, so I’m guessing you want a future with them. Since you do.. and since you and your partner will most likely end up living together just get it over with and include them in your self improvement journey.

It can be little things, for example she holds my hair when I do my skincare at her house and I don’t want to wear a headband. Or she’s just there when I search pilates workouts to do later. As well doing things a little more outside of your comfort zone like for me.. her knowing about this account 😅.

But it’s your partner, the person who will know you best of all. I think including them in your personal journey really will make your bond stronger!

🦢 prioritise your relationship

Lastly, but also very important your relationship should be no. 1 place!

There really is no more explaining to do. Be open with your partner, go on dates, skip a (not yet booked) facial appointment for something important they want to do with you! They’re the person you love after all.

god this man is the most protective… ever but in a really low key way. He’s Spider-Man, but first and foremost, he’s a dad. And he cares so deeply that sometimes, he just can’t stand the sight of seeing someone he loves being hurt. With great power comes great responsibility, and he sees it as his responsibility to do his absolute best for everyone around him.

he’s the funny guy, but he does NOT play around about his family or the people he cares about at ALL. Y’all remember Back in Black? Yeah 😭… literally beat the shit out of kingpin and grabbed that man by the fucking skin. And while that Peter might’ve been from a different universe, I feel like it’s almost universal for him to react that way if someone he loves has been injured or even possibly killed. Like if you’re in actual danger he’s gonna get serious. No jokes, nothing. of course, if you just need a bit of comfort he’s happy to provide. He’s been Spider-Man for a long time, so he knows how to comfort people and make them feel secure. And as a person, he naturally has a kind personality. Idk I feel like Peter just radiates that safe feeling no matter what.

he’s pretty casual about noms too. He could be reclining back on a couch back in one of the head quarter break rooms, see you, then just pop you in his mouth without hesitation (with your consent ofc). He sees you over working yourself? break time via gut. You get a sweet little nap in a super duper soft belly and he’s full for the rest of your stay. Win win, really. Most of the younger recruits know him as the ‘dad dad’ because he’s basically everyone’s dad.

But if you’re on a mission and he needs to get you to a safe place immediately? Quick, roll up the mask, gulp. One and done. It might get a little bumpy but he’s a veteran spidey, there’s little to nothing he can’t handle.

i just hc that because kito gets raised by ao bing and ao guang, their hair and fur get well taken care of growing up and they look beter than mac and wukong in terms of that xdd fashion monkey lmaoo

kito is scared of wukong even after 400+ years because they saw who he can be when pushed past his limit, and because of them getting punished by him

pigsy stays awake at night during s3 until kito returns, saving food, water, pillows and blankets

the gang sees how wukong treats kito in such a toxic manner and protects kito from him, especially pigsy having yelled and snapped at wukong to back off from kito

Because kito was punished by wukong (him giving them the hoop that limits their power and crown hurting them when they have a breakdown), kito is actually a bit below wukong and macaque in terms of power, abilities and strength but makes up for it with wit, speed, and battle IQ trained in the ways of the dragons, lotus and attended master subodhi's school

Macaque still watches over kito, despite his severed ties with his child: he looks out for them in small ways has kito noticed? answer: yes!

kito shares some of the same abilities with macaque that they gained at birth when mac touched their egg (and the egg absorbing loose power and dna here and there) they can hear x1 better than macaque, despite him trying his best to hide: he was still a huge part of kito's life in their eyes (which i have to write and stuff because patience and creator's block be a bish)

when wukong and some of the pilgrim brothers neglected the poor cub, macaque was there to pick up the slack and comfort the cub even taking them to see chang'e (who's unaware of the trauma and events kito went through)

the only ones who cared from the start were wukong, ao lie and sha wujing, zhu baije, macaque and the monk took a while to warm up to kito when they were born and growing up for reasons that don't pass as good: they had a fear that kito was just going to be another wukong doing what they wanted, never listen to others, ect. (i love wukong for the complex character he is, but man is he a toxic mf RRRRRR)

but because of these fears, kito was wildly misunderstood and thus, this poor kid was unjustifiably punished despite these mistakes, they never meant to hurt anyone they just wanted to be like their baba, and craved his love it was just the wrong place, wrong time even though wukong hurt kito the way he did, he did truly care about them he was just not the right person to care for them in the journey, and when he said for them to go:

he didn't mean for them to walk until their body dropped, miscommunication there he tried putting the kid in time out but his dumbass wasn't specific

in the current lmk timeline, wukong thought kito was being dramatic when that happened (stupid shit ik lmaooo)

I've been argueing with the great minds found on threads about Miles Morales, otherwise more well known as Spiderman, and I've realized that people really don't get or understand what makes their dislike of Spiderman racist.

Most of the arguements form from "poorly written" and "underdeveloped," which not only 1. clearly shows they haven't watched the movie, nor have they read the comics (Ultimate Spiderman has been the best running spiderman comic since Mephisto) and 2. they don't realize that they are being racist.

BECAUSE HERES THE THING: the people being objectively, cartoonishly racist are a thing of the past, and rather uncommon. No one talks like that. Most racism is subtle and often the racist doesn't even realize that they are being racist.

Racism is so instilled into american culture that more often than not the microagressions we use in our daily language go by unoticed, except by the reciever. Common examples include "where are you from (you're not from here, you're not like me so you must not be local)," "you probably wouldn't know (obviously, I have a higher ammount of knowledge than the person I am talking to)," and of course, "the charcter doesn't work (he's not the previous version of the character, who was white, so this change must be bad)."

Most people don't catch on. I took a race and racisms class for college, and it shook me to my core. The shit I say to people made me realize that I had internalized racism, and I needed to work on it. I do believe if people are called out on their shit that they will change, but they need to be aware of it first. My racist behaviors and language came from my parents behaviors and beliefs, and they had no idea! None! and they're leftist to the core.

And they will get defensive about it. Who the hell want's to be seen as a racist? I sure as hell don't, yet I have to acknoledge that it's there, and I need to be aware of it. I need to change. I am changing.

This is why critical race theory is so important. This is why the acutal macroagressive racists are scared of it, because they weaponize that ignorance to their advantage. Trump said in one of his previous press conferences that "they (an unknown enemy, but very obviously talking about minorities) will bring crime and will take up all the homes and lower property value" not an exact quote, but I'm really not in the mood to hear his drivel again. But he doens't need to say black or hispanic, it's a "they." They will bring bad things. They are evil. They, them not we. People who don't realize that they are talking about black people will internalize that and repeat it without knowing the consrquences, and when they find out them = minorities then they become more justified.

Critical race theory teaches exactly how we internalize racism, how we can combat it, and how we can gain more empathy for minorities. It makes us aware of racism in our communities and in ourselves. Thats why trump wants it gone, he want's us to be Macroaggressive.

This is why I defend Spiderman so much, because it teaches kids that heroes can be more than just the average white person. They can imagine themselves as heroes saving the day, rather than being portrayed as the common crook. We need more heroes like Spiderman, because they create heroes, they teach us how to be beter people. Everyone deserves to be a hero. Because everyone, not just one race, deserves to do everything a spider can.

hi! i’m the anon who asked about your opinion on stancy and nancy’s selfishness a few days ago. thanks so much for your reply! i saw the tags your reblogged to that ask, and i actually wanted to add one something to the discussion.

i hope this doesn’t come across as trying to counter your answer. that’s not at all what i want to do. i actually completely agree that if nancy worked on some of here tendencies, stancy could be a pretty decent ship, and i also like the parallel of her presence wanting stve to be a beter person, and the opposite happening. i also agree that nancy’s relationships with other people have a lot of unexplored potential and that many of her issues are due to the writing.

i think the part where my opinion differs is because without the narrative supporting nancy, i have a hard time seeing stancy without steve’s anger, at least initially, about the way he was treated in their relationship. he knows nancy was using him, to an extent, when she called thier relationshp bullshit. she said they both murdered barb. steve may or may not know about the cheating, but he does know she got together with jonathan within a few days of their fight/break up, which would have raised some questions. and for me, i think this anger is as important as nancy’s grief over barb was, in that i can’t see stancy without it, in fandom or canon.

i guess robin is another example, although hostility, instead of anger, may be a better word. robin and nancy know each other as steve’s friend and steve’s ex. robn holds grudges; she was pissed at steve for eating a bagel wrong. it doesn’t make sense for her to follow around the girl who dumped him with starry eyes. i can’t really buy any of robin and nancy’s s4 friendship, because, for me, robin’s hostility should have been central to it. yes, nancy is a traumatized teen, but she's not the only traumatized teen the group.

again, i hope this doesn’t come across as me trying to counter your answer. i love your more positive takes on stancy, and i honestly think that having more positive views of characters can lead to a much better fandom experience.

i wanted to send this in more for discussion. i thought it was interesting how focusing on slightly different aspects of a character or their relationships (i.e. the potential for nancy and steve to grow vs focusing on steve's anger) could result in very different ideas on how we want their storyline to go. if you have any thoughts on this, i’d love to hear them!

i think when it comes to steve’s reaction to the break up at large (i’ll get into the cheating in a second), i can more forgive it than the way nancy’s actions are treated elsewhere because steve is just so totally in love with her. he can accept that he’s not the one she wants because he just wants her to be happy. which is why he steps aside. his love for nancy overrides any resentment he may feel.

i do however think as he gains distance from the relationship, he would kinda think… maybe i deserve better than that. maybe nancy shouldn’t have stuck by me if she thought we killed barb. maybe she should’ve just waited for jonathan. but i think with time and the two of them growing as people, this is totally something they can have a conversation about, and look back on more maturely etc.

but the cheating is slightly different. even if you only recognise it as more emotional cheating than physical, it’s still a major issue of steve’s. especially if the person cheating is someone he wants a long, serious relationship with. i don’t think steve would go nuclear like he did in s1, he’s grown a lot emotionally since then, and he cares a lot more for nancy, so i just don’t think he’d want to do that to her. but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t affect him. at what point, and who he found out from would depend on how deeply he was wounded. i do think it’d probably make him take a step back, and reevaluate the relationship. and i think if it wasn’t nancy that told him, that could really have a bad impact on stancy. i kinda waver on whether i think nancy telling him in s2 vs s4 would be better. in s2 it’s a lot more raw, but at least he would know immediately. and in s4, he’s healed more from the relationship, but it’s been kept from him for so long.

but regardless (if it was one of better reveal options), i do ultimately think it’s something they could come back from. they’re young, and they’ve both made mistakes, and i think if nancy totally admitted she fucked up with the cheating, their relationship could recover. though i do think if we allowed steve to truly feel betrayed and angry, stancy wouldn’t be getting together anytime soon. at least until steve’s gotten over his mommy and daddy’s issues lmao.

and i think you’re totally right about robin too. it would make so much sense for her to hold a little grudge against nancy. for a couple reasons: 1. stancy shit. 2. nancy not knowing her at starcourt despite being in the same grade. 3. the barb shit (if we go by the books, which i wish we did!!!! makes them so much more interesting). i just think friction between robin and nancy could elicit so much growth for nancy. less so for robin i suppose, because i think a lot of her friendship with steve did that kind of work, but it would still have impact!

Welcome to me being pissed at some Persona fans and now making this rant. Very sorry to my followers-

TLDR: The ENG VAS for Reload and for FES and Portable are both good and discourse about it shouldn't even happen

Okay so. How this all started was that, I was watching a long video of the Persona 3 Reload final boss fight, which I am not going to spoil for those still playing. The title said it was a Merciless, No Items run which is something I could never do honestly.

But then it also had: JP voices. Which is basically the japanese voice acting instead of the english one.

Now, I'm not going to sit here and say which is better than the other. People have their preferences. Some prefer the eng dub and others prefer the jp dub.

Tell me why.

Tell me why I see people in the comments just shitting. SHITTING. On the Reload english dub and calling some people who defend it Persona 5 babies who play on Safety mode.

LIKE IT'S FINE IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE ENGLISH DUB, JUST. TURN ON THE JP DUB IF YOU HAVE THE GAME?! OR WATCH VIDEOS WITH THE JP DUB, WHICH I'M SURE THERE IS?! IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO NOT SHIT ON THE ENG DUB!

I especially see a lot of hate for Akihiko and Fuuka's VAs, Alejandro Saab/CyYu and Suzie Yeung respectively. I saw some hate for Yukari and the protag's VAs too, Heather Gonzalez and Aleks Lee. And to that, I say:

I have, my own opinions as well. Like how I prefer Yukari's FES voice over Reload's because it just suits her better in my opinion. But I'm not going to say Heather was a miscast! She did her best, and it wasn't that much of a terrible job!

Same with Fuuka and Shinjiro, but reversed! Her Reload voice is so much beter in my opinion, it fits her more timid and quiet self than in FES and the og! And Shinjiro's VA did a killer job with his role! I definitely enjoyed the interactions with him more in Reload! Does that mean the FES and the OG versions of their voices suck? NO!

Mainly because voice acting in games at that time wasn't exactly as solid, and p3 was the first installment to have a game fully voice acted (I know p2 has some voice acting, but I think it's not fully. And p1 only had battle cries, as far as I'm aware)! And for the first installment to do that, it didn't do so bad!

Like I get it! You liked the og game better! It's fine! But that doesn't mean you have to shit on people for liking the remake more!

I would also like to mention the person who like. Complained that P2 Nyarlathotep was harder than the last boss and that this boss was the easiest boss in the series and said that 55 minutes for the boss, when it was like 26 (confirmed by the youtuber) and then some other stuff which I won't say because it enters spoiler territory.

For Damian Wayne, he HATED New Years, he despised it, he despised the interruption to perfect lighting, he despised the rival sounds, and he hated his neighbor! The neighbor was incessant in her playing of the piano, which was a tolerable instrument, but what was not tolerable was her selection in genre.

He knew the daft woman was tasteless; having seen her a time or two in the bloody elevator, and collecting their mail. Flats, black coat, no distinct style beyond looking frumpy, and violet hair! VIOLET HAIR! Of all the ridiculous, degrading things to make matters worse.

And to make matters worse, Damian had purchased the penthouse suite with the knowledge he’d have no neighbors to interrupt his time; which he needed for his side profession; which he was beter known for; art. Jazz though, incessant Jazz! It was always, always, always, always Jazz playing through his bloody floorboards; and he wanted to kill his neighbor! Jazz that interrupted his concentration, his focus, his zen, his work, his passion; it was always blood JAZZ! He hated Jazz! It had no structure, set style, and worse, no complementary melodies; just playing a bloody instrument could be considered ‘Jazz’ and ‘art’ which was bloody bullshit. He would have respect for his downstair neighbor if she played classical consistently, but it was bloody Jazz! All The Bloody Time! And worse when her group was in, but tonight, tonight! Of all Bloody, Fucking Nights, she DARE to Throw a Party Below Him which had VIBRATED HIM Almost off his bloody balcony!

Damian Wayne was many, Many, MANY things but suicidal was not one of them, and tonight, he fully expected the wannabe musician to be OUT on the bloody town, not throwing a raging party in the building which seemed intent on testing building code regulations!

Storming down to the elevator, which rattled, from the raging party, and had him contemplating if he should lie down; in case the damn thing broke and went freefalling, or if he should just suck it up and take the risk. Displeased, but pleased not to die on his quest to yell at his senseless, tasteless, tactless neighbor, the elevator pinged open to a raging party in the hallway. Shoving his way through the mass of people; either making out, or pawing senselessly at each other, he shoved his way to the door, and pounded on it.

The door was yanked open, and he almost hit the woman who answered. He scowled at the violet haired offender; the woman was smiling brightly.

“Oh, heyya neighbor!” she chuckled. “Sorry about the noise, we were trying to be quiet, but my Zayde knows how to paaarrr-tae! And get booze… I’m drunk!” she whispered conspiratorially.

“I do not care about your personal follies,” he started; not permitting a true examination of her beauty off put him from what he had come here to do. For she was shockingly very stunning, and this lighting he resisted the urge to ask if he could use her as a model. She was a very striking woman, he would wager she was indigenous, or perhaps German; given her nose and eyes.

“Of course you don’t,” she slurred with a roll of her eyes. “Always judgy, and rude, you think yourself superior, right Mistah Wayne!”

He blinked blandly at her demanded.

“HA! Bet you didn’t fink I knew who you wuz…” she giggled as she swung around and skipped into the party.

“Get back here!”

“No!” she laughed as she appeared with a flute of something in her long, elegant fingers.

“I am attempting to be polite, this night, but between your abhorrent tastes in musical practices, and your ridiculous celebration of the New Year, I have come to demand you turn down this atrocious noise!”

“Noise!?” she snorted.

“NOISE!” he roared, and suddenly the room was silent.
