SUMMARY: a handful of insecurities the ikemen guys would adore.
WARNINGS: none!! :D
COMMENTS: happy holidays everyone!! i hope this makes at least one person feel loved by their fav <3 just know that this isnt a decisive list and that no matter your insecurity your favorite suitor would adore you to bits.
Tumblr media
you might think that they're silly for adoring your stomach so much, worshiping any extra fat or polished muscle you possess. they revel in your softness, burying their face into your midsection whenever they get the chance, kissing the skin there when they wake up and resting a hand over your belly button when you two go to sleep. if you’re ticklish there, watch out, because they take great joy in poking and prodding you just to hear you giggle.
arthur, dazai, will, charles, luke, silvio, edgar, kyle, seth, loki, masamune, mitsunari, motonari.
they don't understand what’s so embarrassing about your body hair. to them, it adds a sort of human softness to your legs as they run their hands down your calves, feeling the slight prickle of where each strand begins and ends. they think it’s beautiful, smiling so softly as they cup your knee, rubbing their thumbs across your skin. they do the same to your arms, cherishing every inch of your body,  just to remind you that even if you don’t like your body hair, they do because it's you.
leonardo, vincent, faust, clavis, zero, sirius, fenrir, mitsuhide, shingen.
your nose is often where their kisses land, sprinkling the bridge of it with their love and affection. they caress your face so tenderly as they bump their nose against yours, and you can feel the smile on their lips when they lean in to kiss you again. no matter what shape or what size, they will never stop thinking that your nose suits you just perfectly.
isaac, jean, leon, yves, sariel, keith, jonah, luka, dean, oliver, hideyoshi, keiji.
they think your acne and your scars are beautiful, even if you hate the way they look on your body. they insist it could never take away from your beauty, that you will always and forever be radiant, even with the red marks and the dull, faded scars. they’ll help you take care of them so you aren’t hurt, but they will never let you believe that you’re ugly. that word should not be associated with you, not when you have constellations speckled across your face and scars that are on their precious love and their precious love alone.
napoleon, sebastian, licht, nokto, alter keith, ray, dalim, mousse, yukimura, kanetsugu, kicho.
...and along with acne, they know you could never look prettier, especially not without your cellulite or stretch marks or anything in between. they trace the folds and warps in your skin with reverence because you are their love, their light, and their darling, and for as long as they live they want nothing more than to be able to hold you. because you are a human being who is worthy of love, if not for your humanity then because of your humanity.
mozart, theo, comte, vlad, jin, chevalier, rio, gilbert, lancelot, harr, blanc, nobunaga, ieyasu, ranmaru, kenshin, sasuke, yoshimoto, kennyo.

okay we all agree that stretch marks and smile lines are beautiful, yeah
but what about wrinkles on the hands? nails that are slightly too short or jagged due to biting? white spots on nails? faces that are too round to be angular and too angular to be round? eyes that are small? lines under the eyes? eyes that arent the same size or shape? ears that are too small? lips that are cracked but still soft? noses that arent hooked or dented but both? necks that are too long? shoulders that are too broad? arms that are too skinny? muscular thighs and skinny calves? teeth that are yellow with white spots? tooth gaps? mouths that are too small? cheeks that are puffy and dont change much when filled with air? hairlines that are receding? hairines that are jagged? facial hair that isnt enough to be considered a mustache or even fuzz but dark enough to notice? toenails that are jagged because of shaky hands or over stubbing? feet that are callused? hands that are callused? arm hair that is only noticeable when wet? armpit hair that is noticeable from far away, even when the arms are down? legs that are too long but youre still short? asses and thighs that are flat but still covered in cellulite? smiles with a lot of gum? smiles with no gum? teeth that are missing? teeth that are permanently stained? fingers that are permanently curled? hands that are drastically different sizes? hands that are two different colors? acne that is so red and big that you can see it from far away? eyelashes that are falling out? frizzy hair? faces that dont match the body? eyes that are too big? fat rolls and skin folds that fall out of clothing? piercings that didnt heal right? scars that have scab build up? small feet? wide feet? smiles with too little teeth? smiles with too much teeth? pale scalps? monobrows? teeth that are green or black? gums that are black? feeding tubes? breathing tubes? birth marks that are large, dark, and visible? bald patches? knuckles that poke out too much?
because these are what real human beings look like. and its even more beautiful than we think.

My headcanons for how the human counterparts of the TADC cast(mostly their appearence)
Kaufmo: He's a guy with a big belly and thin limbs, light skin, small eyes, long head, linguini nose, chubby linguini from ratatouile, short straight hair, somewhat crooked teeth, above average height but not short, downturned eyes, green-brownish eyes
Pomni: Bob cut with straight bangs, brown hair, a mole on the cheek, fat(to me Pomni irl is fat and nothing will change my mind), wears her work uniform at home, big eyes, eyebags, short, round eyes, brown eyes
Ragatha: Acne scars, wavy or curly hair, tall, blind in one eye(my dad is also blind in one eye :3), high nose bridge, upturned eyes, green eyes, redhead
Jax: Tall, brown skin, monolids, short curly hair, yellow teeth, NO JAUNDICE, amber eyes, wears overalls irl but with a colorful 90s sweater, skinny, when he smiles his gums show a bit
Kinger: Skrunkly middle aged man, wrinkles, blond, long skrunkly beard, long hair(somewhat skrunkrly), skinny needs to eat more, only puts his glasses on to read and doesn't use them otherwise, hooded eyes, blue gray eyes with brown near the black pupil
Queenie: Chubby, dark skin, straight dark brown hair, downturned eyes, brown eyes, mole near her left eye, big eyelashes that form a kinda spiky shape, latina(I don't know which country, there are too much cool countries to choose and y'know, I'm brazilian so I'm resisting the urge), uses a ponytail, middle aged, has wrinkles
Gangle: Black, braid ponytails tied with red ribbons, monolids, big lips, her face gets reddish-brown when she cries(this happens to my friends), has a bunch of skin tags, taller than pomni but still kinda short, thin, no boobs, no butt(I don't know how to say her body type without it sounding weird, I'm so sorry)
Zooble: Has arm and leg prosthetics, has a prosthetic eye, short curly hair, black, almond eyes, wears colorful 90's clothing, mismatched garments, full body, colorful jacket, forgets where she left her walking prosthetic leg so she uses the running prosthetic leg thinking it's gonna be fine to use just for a while but they walk wonky and theys till can't find the other leg and they want to walk and it's a horrible loop

Could you make a post or just reply here with all the 'non conventionally attractive' things you find attractive? It's honestly so refreshing to read
it is a joy to find these things beautiful and it is an even greater joy to realise there are so many like-minded people who are just as thrilled by them - because, in truth, those preferences are quite common, once you let go of the frames of the convention enforced by the system. convention which is founded on shame and control, and reverberates with racism, fatphobia, ageism, and other forms of oppression. once you recognise it and try to consciously separate yourself, you will be able to discover your genuine preferences - sometimes disconnected from the convention, sometimes emerging fully in spite of it, and sometimes actually more in line with it than initially expected. it is the beauty of the varied human experience.
I do recommend reading the tags on that post that others have left - but as it is one of my favourite subjects to ramble about, dear stranger, let us let the proverbial beast loose and ramble away. one voice among thousands!
some are more obvious: like body hair and body fat, and grey hair, laugh lines and freckles and scars. and then it is specific: a dark happy trail on a woman, forehead wrinkles, rosacea, acne scars and pox scars, hair left to be natural even if the colour seems dull by the convention. crooked teeth and smiles that expose your gums or show 'too much' teeth, and big noses, and heavily hooded eyes. asymmetrical faces, soft jaws and soft chins. soft stomachs and heavy thighs and the fat rolls forming right underneath the breasts, and cellulite and stretch marks and scars wherever on the body. scarred, uneven or unusual knees, specific gait, a weird way of sitting. short height and hip dips and asymmetry or non conventional proportions of the body.
and these are just the easily noticeable physical traits - but again, we'd have to be here the whole day otherwise.

I so deeply love trans people it is hard to express I love us like I love the stars, the way the summer loves the monsoon winds, the way the spring loves the flowers, the way sidewalks love the fallen leaves and the way life loves the sun. I love us all, even if here i speak specifically to trans mascs, I love every single one of us dearly. You are Loved.
I love trans men, trans mascs, I love us when we have full chests and when we have flat ones, I love us in skirts and suits and shorts and pants and dresses that flow like a stream. I love us in binders in bras pre post and no op i love us with deep growly voices like the rushing waterfalls and I love us with gentle voices like birdsong on the wind and I am so in love.
I love fat trans men I love thin trans men I love us toned and muscular I love us soft and squishy I love us so deeply. I love disabled trans mascs I love mentally ill trans men I love chronically ill trans men I love Black trans mascs I love Indigenous trans men I love Asian trans men I love European trans mascs I love mixed trans mascs love us all so dearly I can barely take it.
I love us with scars and I love us with freckles and I love us with acne i love us with facial hair, with beards and mustaches and stubble that just won’t seem to grow out but it will love I promise and you’ll be so handsome and even if it doesn’t you glow like the mid afternoon sun hasn’t anyone told you ? You are beautiful, to your very core.
I love sunny and bright trans men who reflect the colours of the rainbow like a prism I love scene and goth and punk and alternative trans mascs I love plain trans men who wear t shirts and shorts I love showy trans men in their frilly shirts and corsets.
I love us roaring with laughter and crying out in anger I love us singing until our throats are hoarse I love us in the waves of pleasure I love us in the quiet content like sitting on the earth as the gentle breeze tickles our skin.
I love us in love, I love us who have one, two, any number of partners or no partners at all I love us no matter what faith we hold I love us without any faith at all I love us who feel the energy of the universe and I love us who do not.
I love us taking part in the joy of creation i love us who create art i love us who build cars or fix roofs i love us who educate i love us in theatre and music i love us making scientific developments i love us in hardware software the brilliant machine that is the human body I love us saving lives I love us creating new ones I love us so much.
I love us like we hung the stars and the planets I am so in love I feel as though the word cannot possibly contain the true and full depth of my feelings for us. I do not have the vocabulary to thoroughly express how much I love us, how deeply in love i am with being trans.
There is so much more I could add but if you are trans, if you are a trans man or are trans masc or anything at all I love you so much. We will be happy, we will thrive. We are beautiful and valuable and we are, dare I say it, divine. You do not have to make it into the history books to be so valuable. You are of the greatest worth of anything for simply being. I wish you nothing but happiness and a life that you love.  Be well, you who I gladly share my soul with. You are more than words could ever describe.

(tw for insecurities/uncomfortable in your body)
you’ve always felt out of place in your own skin, you’ve never felt right. you dont admire the way your body was made like how other girls do, you cant accept your hip dips, you cant find anything admirable about your thick thighs, you cringe when you see the creases and extra chub on your tummy. and most of all, you cry when you see your reflection, the way your eyes arent blue like all the pretty girls eyes are, the wrinkles of your smile line, the pink and red dots all across your face. not flawessly smooth and pretty like all the pretty girls’ skin is. your hair being brown and short, not blonde and long like all the pretty girls.
in conclusion, you’ve never liked what you looked like. and chris has never judged you for it, he makes sure to compliment you everyday, he admires you like no other, he always caresses the stretch marks on your thighs, loving how they look like thunderbolts.
its safe to say, he absolutely adores you and what you look like, hes never lied when hes called you ‘pretty’ or ‘gorgeous’. not a single lie leaving the boys lips. he looks at you with heart eyes, no negative thought about you daring to even cross his mind.
he loves your hip dips, it shows him where to place his hands when he goes to pull you in for a hug, or a passionate kiss, or a simple admiration.
he adores the extra fat on your thighs, the plush and smooth skin being a perfect place to rest his head on. he likes to lay his head on them and trace hearts and all sorts of shapes all over your skin whilst whispering soft praises.
hes obsessed with the extra chub on your tummy, its so soft and welcoming. he loves when you wear crop tops (which is only when you feel confident), the skin being so inviting that he’d rather push you onto the bed so he could lay on your tummy and just sleep.
he loves looking into the brown in your eyes, the brown a comforting and calm thing to look at, the soft essence of yellow reminding him of the vibrantness of your personality.
he admires your smile line. the lines proving you’ve experienced such happiness before, in such mass amounts that they left a permanent reminder on you. your smile lines being so noticeable when you’re truly smiling, proving to him that he’s able to make you experience a joy most people can’t find. its assuring to know you’ve seen happiness before and that’s all he could’ve ever asked for.
he absolutely loves your acne, acne scars, anything related. it proves to him that you’re human, that such a goddess of a thing can experience such misfortunate things, proving you’re just like everyone else. but to chris, you’re his and he admires the reality of skin, not the smooth and flawless skin, the one that also shows hard work, the one that shows true emotion to a person.
he’s always admired you, and he’s made that clear. despite his acknowledgements of how pretty and gorgeous you are, you’ve never really showed him your body, preferring to change in separate rooms so you could trust that he wasn’t going to judge you, he had literally no way to.
so, when you first took off your shirt in front of him, his eyes never once left your body. his eyes burning with admiration. butterflies escaping in his stomach, and his jaw subtly falling slack. he stopped in his tracks and let his eyes roam over your body, taking in every inch of skin with an on growing fire of passion burning in his stomach. he so dearly admired you, he’s sure he’s never ever seen such beauty before.
and when you left the room to take your shower, it took everything in him not to grab your waist and stop you so he could look and fall inlove with you even more for just a few more minutes. he stood where he was, your bodys image engraved in his mind, how could he ever forget such a pretty thing like that?
(a/n: y’all is this even considered a blurb 😭)

Hi stiff!! I was writing this as a comment but I think it’s a better ask. It’s very long and I will not be upset if you don’t answer! :3
I think part of peoples aversion to it is that it doesn’t conform to the style people are used to seeing online by popular artists. There’s this sorta phenomenon I’ve noticed where people tend to move their style towards a very cartoon/anime ish style with little variation because it’s pretty and that’s what people/algorithms like. People gravitate moreso if they intend on selling their art though.
So, when someone has a stylistic choice that doesn’t really fit that mould people find it “weird”. Exaggerated features (or in this case and many others like, a feature people just have???) are often seen as ugly or strange. An example of this is the person on TikTok who drew characters with big foreheads and lower eyes and got bullied off the platform for it! Another example could be “the tumblr art style” where commentary channels bullied artists who drew any minority ever or “ugly” features. It really exemplifies to me how online culture (especially on western apps) views western standards of beauty as the only way people can be beautiful. And why, in their mind, would someone create art that isn’t beautiful in that way unless they’re trying to be weird or make a statement? When, in reality, the beauty is in that they’re drawing what they see, what they want to see, and what they think is beautiful. Without diversity in what we consider beauty there is no beauty.
In this case it also feels a bit. Weird. To have the big nose be such a big issue. I don’t see people getting mad at hooked nose scar? How is this any different? There is nothing different about the way you draw scar now and the way you drew him before aside from that. You’ve always drawn him with body hair and fat and with these details that really just. Humanize him. And I think the point I’m trying to make here is that drawing people with big noses or crooked eyes or acne scars isn’t bad or weird and only adds to your art. It only makes you a better artist and I’ve genuinely watched you improve really really fast as you’ve drawn these characters with so much body diversity. Anyway. Big nose scar sweeeeep
honestly yea. sometimes when i see people draw certain characters it almost feels like theyre afraid of making them "unattractive" if you know what i mean? like i dont know how else to describe it but its really weird.
making their nose smaller, giving female characters bigger eyes and fuller lips, drawing only skinny characters, drawing older people with less wrinkles then they actually have or should have etc. and like people can draw whatever they want of course but tbh i see those "unattractive" parts as beautiful.
like i genuinely think wrinkles are pretty. i think big noses, hooked noses, small noses, crooked noses or just any kind of noses are beautiful. i think someones lips dont have to be full to look pretty. i think fat people and skinny people and just all kinds of people are beautiful. acne scars and and skin markings of any kind are beautiful.
idk just all those things and imperfections even make people beautiful to me.
like i find diversity beautiful and its kinda sad that some people dont see it that way? not everyone is skinny and buff, not all women will have the perfect hourglass figure or full lips etc.
those body types are beautiful too of course but sometimes i feel like people should see beauty in other body types and features as well.
anyway thank you for the ask it was very sweet and i do agree with you <3

Things The Nordics Have Absolutely Done
-Finland returned from his trip to Russia and quietly whispered, "My work there is done." and everyone was terrified for a while.
-Denmark's "egg hunt" primarily consisted of dressing Iceland up as an egg and trying to gun him down.
-Norway and Denmark never actually taught Iceland how to pray. They just turned him over to the priest so he would "teach him the ways of the Lord". The only thing Iceland ever learned every Sunday morning was his way around a penis, human or otherwise.
-Sweden has a list titled "Things That Don't Make You Ugly". The items on the list are: acne, being over/underweight, scars, stretch marks, crooked/yellow teeth, body hair, thinning hair/loss, psoriasis/eczema/rashes, fat rolls, and amputations. He also has a list titled "Things That Do Make You Ugly" and the only item is Being Denmark. Fuck Denmark.
-Denmark was kicked out of the local church for murdering the pastor. At the time, he was pissed, but now it seems kind of reasonable.
-Denmark has been constantly emailing Rockstar to add a condom that has frozen diet coke in it into Grand Theft Auto 5.
-Sweden vaccinated the kids without Finland's permission, so now Fin has to suck that cancer juice out with his bare lips.
-Iceland is now imprisoned in China because he spread US propaganda.
-Denmark is currently flexing his self-proclaimed "epic yolo swag" on the streets of Pakistan.
-Sealand morphed into an omnipotent, hypersentient god hellbent on erasing Finland from known history after Fin told him he couldn't eat crayons.

Hey guys, this post is a little bit more serious than usual but like I feel like it needs to be said.
Im gay. Like, really gay.
I like women.
There is nothing there that says I only find skinny or white or short or tall women attractive.
You're all so beautiful.
I am a semi-professional artist, and I have spent way too much time studying the blood that flows under your skin and the bones that hold you up and the muscles that help you move to be able to look at a human and think they are ugly.
Like, we have created this society where I find this hard to explain which is sick.
I love skinny girls. I love the way you fit so well in my hands. I love the grace you can carry yourself with, the balance you hold, the way your limbs float with little weight.
I love fat girls. I love how warm and safe and solid I feel when I touch you. I love the feeling of running my hand over your tummies, the skin there so soft and pliable. I love the fact that your thighs make the best pillows and the best seats, and how I could die happily of asphyxiation to them.
I love girls with clear skin. I love the way light dribbles over your features like your skin is harnessing it. I love the small halo of light that always forms around your face as miniscule, clear hairs catch the light.
I love girls with acne. I love how it feels like I could get lost in every beautiful mark on your skin. I love the way your face is decorated and how it feels to rub my thumbs across your cheeks. I love how sometimes it always looks like I youre blushing a little.
I love white girls. I love the beautiful blue veins I can see under your skin, the layers of life that makes up the beautiful thing that is you. I love the way moonlight maps your skin and I love how fast you are to blush.
I love black girls, I love the deepness of your skin, skin that I could get lost in. I love the soothing dark of your eyes and all the wonderful shapes and textures of your hair. I love the way you speak, the way words lilt through your lips.
I love Asian girls. I love the softness of your features. I love how much emotion your eyes always hold. I love the gentle curves of your nose and the rich tan of your skin.
I love girls with stretch marks. I love how I can FEEL the history of your body, your skin. I love seeing the scars where your body wormed so hard for you. I love the mounds and valleys under my tongue when I kiss them.
I love girls with straight teeth. I love the way your smile shines whole from afar. I love the way your lips curve over them perfectly.
I love girls with crooked teeth. I love to learn every part of your mouth with my tongue. I love to see that beautiful smile that is uniquely yours.
There are so many beautiful things I missed but the takeaway is that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE TO DESERVE LOVE!
You are eligible for love as soon as you feel ready for it. Someone who loves you will see your beauty. It's beauty that isn't invisible to everyone, but it isn't what you see on magazine covers. It's more real, alive, grounded. Its living, breathing beauty full of love and stories.
How someone loves you NEVER EVER depends on how 'good' you look, and that should never change. Everyone is just so beautiful. I'll never be able to worship and appreciate every young woman I see but damn I would.

i feel like these two fit kind if well together? 🍬 & 🍄
🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
Gonna be honest, I'm actually such a huge GazAlex shipper so I'm gonna do a headcanon for them. They're actually both such total dorks and so often times, they end up on the couch, each reading/watching something like super nerdy. Gaz is really into this book on dangerous plants around the world and Alex is watching a docu-series on like some historical event or something. In other words, I don't think these two would be nearly as handsy as say NikPrice, and they're more likely to be caught curled up, fast asleep on the couch together with the credits of a docu-series rolling and Gaz's book falling onto the floor.
🍬 ⇢ post an unpopular opinion about a popular fandom character
My actual unpopular opinion about a popular fandom character???
Ghost should be ugly under that mask
There I said it. I think he should have a relatively unattractive face. Just really boring features and some really ugly scarring. He should have thin lips with a bit missing so it kind of pulls at his face weird. I don't think he should be taking off the mask and suddenly there's the most gorgeous man under there.
Let Simon Riley be ugly. Let him be unattractive.
And under all that gear? He's got some fat, he's got some ugly scars that never healed right. He's got fading tattoos and some moles. He's got a weird looking belly button. Just not the model I see him depicted as all the time.
I want him to be hard to look at cause you can't help but stare at the scars. I want him to have some acne scars that are overshadowed by the big scars. I want him to have choppy almost dirt colored hair that clearly sits under that balaclava too much and is clearly cut by himself in a dark bathroom without a mirror cause he can't stand his own reflection.
I want him to be loved by Soap cause he wears his history on his face/body unlike anyone else.
I want him to be loved by Soap despite being "ugly".
I want him ugly cause that means Soap's love is that much more genuine.
I want him ugly cause that makes him that much more human which totally contradicts the entity he's made himself into (Ghost).
Do the depictions of him with a very nice sculpted body still make me drool a bit? Absolutely! Are they still wonderful and valid pieces of art?? Absolutely! He's still military after all and is definitely doing great in the muscle department.
But I just want our resident masked cryptid to be ugly. Call it a self-insert cause I want him to be loved so genuinely despite his appearance.

A lot of advice I see randomly shared on the internet about drawing humans by other artists always seems like it's like.... If you people-watched more you'd realize that this advice doesn't cover everything?
Many women who are fat don't carry it in their bellies, yes, but many people do carry their fat in their gut in a way that sometimes makes that person look.... Kinda pregnant.
Saw a coloring tutorial once that said scars are darker, not lighter, than a person's normal skin tone, but I've got enough acne scars to tell you that SOME scars ARE lighter than your base skin tone and there's very little way to predict which way it'll go
Some people's hips are narrow enough they are skinny as fuck and have no thigh gap. Some people have a bit of thigh gap despite having fat thighs.
Boob size is only moderately connected to your weight.
Not everyone naturally has the same hair color and body hair color (in fact it's pretty common not to)
Idk sometimes it's just exactly as silly as "man is dorito shape, wamen is hour glass shape".

things that are conventionally unattractive are literally so hot tf
body hair is so hot omfg why do ppl even shave. like it just makes you softer and like your a creature of the forest i love it. like god i wanna touch ppl's soft body hair so bad its so amazing.
it amazes me how stretch marks are somehow not considered pretty by most ppl. like i have stretch marks and they literally look like the ocean has been printed under your skin. like i am a god of the sea what are you talking about.
fatness just makes you so much softer to cuddle and everyone who ignores that are fucking idiots. also fat ppl are fucking gorgeous.
"bad" skin literally why do ppl even want smooth skin. ugh i love skin with texture like if you have really smooth skin all i'm thinking about is those lil green alien guys. i'm not even joking. the marks and bumps in your just show your humanity. idk. acne is just 3d freckles fight me bitch.
scars just show the things you've gone through to get to this point. like that's absolutely amazing?? and this goes for all scars not just otherwise conventionally attractive ppl with scars mostly considered cool. all scars are cool and i love them.
wrinkles?? don't even get me fucking started. like wrinkles are literally permanent marks of every time you've emoted in your life. that's fucking amazing. smile lines and crows feet are from all the times you've smiled and laughed in your years. like what that's amazing. wrinkles are a reminder of all the life you've lived and loved in. i love them.
i love conventionally unattractive things god yes gimme

anyway this morning i am thinking about. the way that so many modern beauty standards essentially tell us to erase our humanity?? like. your body is supposed to have fat. your body is supposed to have hair. your skin is supposed to have acne and stretch marks and texture and discoloration. scars and wrinkles are opposite sides of the same coin of life, of living, of the world creasing itself into you. i'm tired of being told that all these things are ugly or hearing them talked about as if they're problems to solve!!! i'm attracted to people not instagram filters!!!
