Okay, I'm literally--I have XD in a headlock right now so I'm going to have to type fast. Someone apparently delivered Phil to XD as a gift and now XD is claiming to own him. He whisked Phil into the end, stuffed him into a fucking hut, ate a whole box of crayons, and now I'm trying to kick his ass but he isn't fucking cooperating.

I've got the situation handled. Phil will be okay.

He didn't tell anyone before leaving this time. It felt weird to go through the same conversations over and over again.

"Hey sorry,if I die this time don't worry about it too much"

"I know our relationship is rocky right now! Just wanted to let you know I might not come back this time."

"I don't want you to worry,even though I think I do want you to talk me out of this one".

The same thing in different fonts. Different ways. In different tones and with different intentions. Sometimes it's just to tell someone they don't need to worry about pretending around him anymore. Sometimes it's a silent plea for them to stop him-tell him not to go,that they need him in one piece. But No one's ever needed him in one piece.

The nether always wanted him though. The nether wanted him when his parents didn't. It wanted him when he was alone. When he was left to himself. It wanted him when it felt like no one else did. And it wanted him now,for his blood. It wanted him to be cast upon the soft netherrack, it wanted him to rip and dig into the ground with his claws and fangs and blade like an animal. It beckoned him and the other warrior to shed their lifeblood upon eachothers blades.

He was a circumstance of his environment. And it proved in the way he took so easily to fire and heat. Destruction and hurt. He was good at those things. Not as good as he needed to be. But Techno didn't care. Techno was angry. Techno was cruel and twisted like the pick he used to rip Sapnaps fiances face open. Sap couldn't protect his fiance then. But choosing to fight in their home turf was better than bringing it to Las Nevadas. It was his own form of protection to run from them. He'd met Techno near the fortress,staring down the blood god like he wasn't some self righteous 20 year old chipped and worn weapon against someone who's name made people's legs weak. It was a matter of pride now,fighting for their own rights to be angry. Angry about Dream. 

He'd died in his arms. Soaked his blade and the cloak that they'd all shared with his blood. He took his brother to bed and Techno had the gall to stare him in the eye like Sapnap needed to pay for his promise. Like sapnap hadn't already died inside. Like he had to keep giving pieces of himself away. Never whole. Not really. 

"He was my friend you know. My best friend. Why do you care so bad? You didn't know him like I did. You didn't watch him turn into what he did."

Sapnap was shouting over the bubbling lava near them. Over the rattling wheeze of blazes and withered bones. Over the voice in his own head screaming and begging for him to run.

"If it's gotta be this way then fine. But it ends with us. No going after anyone else besides me. Can you swear that? On your honor,could you swear to keep this between us?"
