The new Mammon and Fizz episode has been released and I wanna put my two cents in.

The palette is oooof........ One of the most "hard to watch" HB episodes. Seriously, hasn't anyone told Vivzie that her colour choices are just utterly failed?

Mammon was simply annoying and cringe, especially considering he's one of the highest "demons". He curses every few seconds, has an Australian accent and is some kind of a rock star(because......because). Oh yeah, he's also a very bad guy, cuz he disrespects women! Also I find it funny that Vivzie said in one of her tweets that she apologizes the fans wouldn't like him, as he's "fat and ugly". In reality, he's just a typical Vivziepop-ish male character, having sharp teeth and eyes without pupils. And his "fatness" is just looking like a Christmas tree with a round body.

Overdetailed backgrounds and sloppy animation, as always. Some moments look reeeeeally stiff. Maybe Vivzie starts drawing easier backgrounds and make characters with less details so the animation was better and faster to produce? Just dreaming.......

The songs are just generic tasteless pop-stuff. Gosh, I just wish they have a better composer cuz it's tiring to hear these cheap pop tunes every time. Maybe get some real rock or something with synthesizer........ I don't know.....

The background characters in this episode look much less like some early Deviantart furry OCs or cosplay freaks, which is a real plus. Take some cuties:

I really like the left amphibia girl, she's so pretty. Also yeah, bg characters really look better than in previous episodes. Almost like they were drawn by someone who actually knows their job well and doesn't make every person look like different art style or different teenager's OC.

Fizz being tired to be a clown for entertainment, having panic attacks, dealing with crazy fans and a shitty boss was honestly a good idea but the final song was just too weak to handle it. If it was done better, it would be really good.

The sigh language kid is cute and it was interesting to see a disabled person being cheered and supported by another disabled person.

Oh wow Viv made another female characters whose entire personality is being bitchy and arrogant(even to each other, though they're sisters they're calling each other whore, bitch etc.). Can't wait for the fanbase to hate these two or lust for them in the worst way possible.

Though there were actually some beautiful and......esthetic frames.

Am I the only one who never understood why Fizzarolli is considered a sex icon in this show? Like, yeah, Mammon said that he'll exploit his "clown employee" in every way possible and it's all for money, but I still don't get the whole "having tons of sex dolls based on him" thing. Who in sanity would buy a sex doll of Fizz? He looks like a stick with limbs and painted face, which is somehow considered sexy by Vivzie or her fans? Wouldn't it be more logical for a woman to be a sex icon? Lots of real women, including teen idols, were sexualized and fetishized for media by their producers and shown as beauty icons. But I just couldn't imagine the same with males. Like, I'm sorry, but to me Fizz who's a circus performer, celebrity and a sex icon is in the same category as Angel Dust who's a porn star, stripper and prostitute at the same time.

It's funny that this girl looks like a better design for Loona than Loona herself, lmao.

It's actually a progress to see that Vivzie didn't fetishize a romantic relationship between two men and actually showed them as a loving couple which doesn't talk about sex and cocks every five seconds. She actually has put some unexpected effort in it.

Just started Medjed arc of P5R; here are my current thoughts on the characters I know so far:

Joker: Look, I know people say he's a "self-insert" but I really, really see a few very distinct personality traits in him. He's lost in thought a lot. He zones out. He's really goal-driven. He's clever. He's a risk-taker. He's wary of consequences. He takes a little while to trust people, especially adults. He's suspicious and easily annoyed. He's on your side. He wants to help. He's a snarky little shit. His compassion is as much his defiance as his bitter disdain. He's hesitant. He's confident. He's bluffing. His respect is earned. His assistance isn't. He's free. He's chained. He's larger than life. He's a dumbass dork of a teenager. Incredibly fun character to play as, 10/10. I love that you can actually see him becoming more confident as time goes on. His dialogue options also become sillier/snarkier/more teasing as he becomes closer with people. It's just fun. I have a lot more thoughts on him but I'm going to stop here. I'd love to do a bit of an analysis on him once I finish the game - I'd like to go back through his main story dialogue options and his idle and specific scene animations. Plus, they seriously popped off with his character design. There's so much I could say about that alone.

Ryuji: Ryuji, my beloved. I wish you were less horny in uncomfortable ways in some scenes - I think, as well as Atlus not knowing what teenage girls are like, they also have not... spoken to people raised by single mothers, or mothers who got out of an abusive relationship... but anyways, asides from that, I love Ryuji. I think his desire for popularity makes a lot of sense - he's only ever stood out in a bad way. He just wants to be liked, you know? And he doesn't think he's enough the way he is. He's trying his best. I need him to shut up so bad but also I hope he never shuts up, you know. He's genuinely so funny, and he's the most ride or die of anyone. Ryuji gets angry on everyone's behalf when they can't muster up their own anger yet. Everyone say thank you, Ryuji.

Morgana: I do not get the hate for this not-cat; he's so funny to me. He's becoming a little more aligned to the thieves' morality, which is probably for the best since at the beginning he was definitely down with accidental murder and totally open about his pragmatism. He actually encourages this in Joker. It's just funny. I love my emotional support not-cat bestie who sits in my desk at school then tells me to go strike shady deals with random people in back alleys. You can definitely see a change in Morgana though; he's becoming more excited about helping people for the sake of it (like Joker, he too has gained purpose), but he's also becoming more insecure.

Ann: She remains my favourite of the Thieves. If Ryuji is the original drive and Morgana the original method, then she is the original conviction. The strength to stand with victims. The desire to force those who hurt others to understand the feelings of said victims. She has the rawest fucking lines at the end of the Kamoshida arc. She loves Shiho so much, and I really feel like her and Joker are on the same page when it comes to things deeper than their surface level interests. Get you a friend like Ann fr. It's a shame that later scenes have her mostly just getting mad at the guys when they uhhh... act like horny guys towards her. Feels bad man, especially because I love the aspect of her character that wants to be more comfortable with her sexuality and have that be on her terms. <- That's really cool, actually! Why couldn't we do more with that...? As a note though, I seriously love her admiration towards female cartoon villains and that one mean girl model. I think that's so funny and also such a mood. I do not believe for one second that Ann is straight. I hope she becomes the sexy and confidant morally-ambiguous thief of her dreams, and also that she gets a girlfriend. It's what she deserves.

Yusuke: He's so dramatic. Do you expect me not to love him? I really loved his conflict during Madarame's arc - those revelations were absolutely brutal, and Yusuke really handled things well, all things considered. Again, like Ann, there were some raw lines in there. But then, of course, the slump on the other end, when the adrenaline wears off. That Yusuke's painting only showed the dark side of desire tells me that he is still grappling with the effects of all these reveals. He has a lot to process.

Makoto: I just think she's so cute. Her design is adorable. She's such a sweetheart. On the flip side though, while I don't find her as intimidating as the game seems to, I definitely would not want her mad at me. While, as I mentioned before, I found the lead up to her joining the thieves to be a little janky, the actual moment was great. I love that she has a support system now. She really needed that. I hope there are more scenes with her in group settings tbh. While I'm enjoying her one-on-one dynamics with Ryuji and Ann, I do feel like she doesn't really... gel with the group as well as, say, Yusuke did. I think they need to drag her out to more activities lol.

Sojiro: I still don't know yet? He seems like the tough love sort. I do enjoy getting to learn random coffee trivia from him, and it seems like he cares in a kind of gruff way. He also gets a lot of suspicious people coming by. Guess I'll find out more later.

Maruki: Again, I don't know much still. He's endearing and dorky. That salt bae thing still lives rent-free in my head. I feel his frustration with not being able to help more. I get it man. I will say though, the fact that we get to see scenes with the thieves and Maruki, with no Joker present, is... odd.

Kasumi: I... I don't know how to feel. She's too nice. She's too polite. All of her scenes are so weirdly convenient. I like her just fine, but there's something seriously off. I almost feel like she's an outlier on purpose, like she doesn't blend into the world. Unlike Maruki, who is new to Royal but blends into the story quite nicely, Kasumi really stands out, to the point it kind of feels like that was the intention. She is adorable, though, I won't deny that, and I do want her to succeed and all, I just... hm. I don't know how to feel about her.

Akechi: I could fix him (smack him upside the head). <- okay but seriously, he is so obviously suspicious, he so obviously knows about Joker, he's such a smarmy little shit. I would despise him irl, but he's absolutely the funniest character in the game right now. Everything he says has me either cackling or my jaw dropping at the fucking audacity. He's also really interesting to me. Love a character whose every line means three things rolled into one. He feels dangerous and weirdly endearing at the same time. What the hell is his problem (affectionate + derogatory).

Yoshida: YOSHIDA MY ABSOLUTE BELOVED. I love him so far. He's my favourite confidant right now. He just makes me so happy man I love him so much. Yoshida takes the hard road and he's got the conviction, but you need support from people to really turn your life around. Hey, that's kind of what the game is about, yeah?

Takemi: Oh I love her confidant so far. I don't know that she's one of my favourites, character-wise, but I was especially taken with her dedication to that medicine, and Joker's response to her saying that she doesn't suit everyone coming to her for medical help by countering her with an "it suits you". Very sweet. I'm getting close to finishing her confidant; I just need to level up charm.

Mishima: I'm almost done his confidant too! I actually enjoy Mishima's character. I feel like his downward spiral made a lot of sense, and I like that he's both helpful and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I especially like that he's pulling himself out of that fame mentality by himself, without his heart being changed. We just gave his shadow something to think on.

Kawakami: Idk how I feel about this, but the perks are good. I'm curious about her though.

Sae: She seems dedicated to her job. Forming a confidant with her during the interrogation was something I did not expect and had me going "ohohoho". But man, some of the stuff she says to Makoto is way out of line... I'm glad she's at least aware as soon as it leaves her mouth, and I cannot imagine the constant stress and scrutiny she's under but... still. Girl. :/

Iwai: I'm going to properly start his confidant soon. He's cool. I feel like he's not nearly as scary as he makes himself out to be.

Ohya: Don't know much about her so far, but she's a disaster, and I will always enjoy a good disaster woman.

Lala: SHE'S PERFECT. I wish there was a mechanic where you could get advice from Lala-chan. She's looking out for everybody. She's good. :)

Chihaya: She told me I'm gonna die... :(

Imperial-Topaz ranks SWTOR Romances

To mark my return, I decided to do a SWTOR ranking, this time with the romances. I'm gonna stick with just vanilla ones for now, and do expansions at a later time. Also, I'm not doing any of the 'one-shot' romances, or I'll be here till the next century. Again, this is just my opinion, let me know what you think on these romances in the comments or reblogs. Anyway, this is gonna be a chonkey one, so let's get into it.

19. Kaylio Djannis

What a surprise. Anyway, she's down here for one reason in particular. She's literally the only romance option that fucking cucks you.

Yup. Honestly, Kaliyo is such an unlikable piece of shit. She trash talks you even if you're flirting with her and probably doesn't see you as anything more than a one night stand. I don't wanna look at this bitch no more. Next! 18. Doc

Yeah, you know how I feel about Doc already. The walking sexual harassment lawsuit who can't take 'no' for an answer. If you're a female knight who doesn't want to romance him (or at least wants to take things easy and not rush), you're in for an uncomfortable time. But what if you're into his flirts and return them? Is the relationship a bit healthier? I suppose, but his attitude makes it hard for me to take his commitment seriously. I just have this feeling that he'll run off to bang a hotter chick if given the opportunity. I mean, he already fled a wedding once.

So yeah, fuck Doc and his ugly ass crowbar mustache. 17. Nadia Grell

Before you crucify me, I like Nadia, okay? She's a great character. Her romance on the other hand is...eugh. There is a lot of unfortunate implications. You guys already know I'm not a big fan of Padawan and Apprentice relationships, it's just creepy for me. Also, you start romance literally after her father dies. I'm serious, it almost plays into the Sex for Solace trope. Also, the Consular is coded to be an older person, while Nadia is really young. I mean, ngl, I don't mind age difference as long as both parties are the age of majority (which, to give credit, they are) but still. Honestly, I just like Nadia better as a surrogate daughter/little sister to the Consular.

16. Corso Riggs

Yeah, Corso is...not the best in my opinion. I'll give him credit, he's got good looks and plenty of gentlemanly charm if you're into that sorta thing. But then again, his romance setup pretty much forces you to take advantage of him while he's drunk. Already that bumps him down a few spots for me. Personality wise, I find his whole 'don't hurt woman at all' shtick to get really old, especially when he does it towards women who are actively trying to kill him and the Smuggler. Buddy, you can defend yourself and still be a Gentleman at the same time. His jealousy also kinda gets on my nerves. Not my cup of tea, but I won't judge anyone who picks him.

15. Jaesa Willsaam (Dark side)

Some may not like that I put her this high, but the reason Dark!Jaesa is above the last four for me is simple: the entertainment value. Honestly, her romance is also roughly how I feel about her character: not actually 'good' per say, but so hilariously over-the-top and edgy, that I can't help but laugh. A perfect fit for a chaotic dark side Sith Warrior. However, as a genuine love interest? Not the best. There's better options you can pick for that. Also, I'm not discussing in this list Light!Jaesa, since I believe that's an expansion-only romance.

14. Raina Temple

Alright, done with the bad, now we can move onto the good, starting with Raina. She's alright in my opinion. I don't have much to say, honestly. I like her whole everywoman theme, she's cute, she's got some complexity to her, and she's not Kaliyo. Not an absolute fav, but she's good in my book.

13. Andronikos Revel

Again, not much to say. Revel's got a good arc to him: starts off casual and laid-back, but once you get to know eachother, he opens up and it becomes more serious. I also like how he's flirtatious and not an absolute creep about it...unlike a certain someone... So yeah, simple and sweet. 12. Risha Drayen

Don't have much to say for Risha, either. I like her, but I'm not crazy for her. I will admit, I do have a soft spot for the whole princess x rogue type of romance, and she is a pretty likable and personable character. I just prefer the other romance option for smugglers, but we'll get to that in a bit. 11. Felix Iresso

Someone give this man a hug, a blanket, and some snacks. He did not deserve any of the shit he went through. Hurt/comfort aside, I like Felix. He's calm, mature, friendly, and straight-forward in a good way. I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, I am having trouble of what to say. Moving on! 10. Ashara Zavros

The one thing holding Ashara back for me is the master/apprentice dynamic. That's really the only problem I have with her romance. I just find it creepy. That aside, Ashara's pretty good. I love her character arc of her realizing the conflict between Jedi and Sith isn't as Black and White as she initially thought it was, and how it ties into her romance. I especially like romancing her with a Light Sided Inquisitor. It's just so sweet.

P.S. They did her dirty in KOTFE 9. Vector Hyllus

I know how beloved Vector is and some people are really not gonna like me not putting him the top 5. That's only because I only did his romance once. However, I did enjoy that playthrough. Vector is a very wholesome and quirky character with some interesting romantic themes. I'll have to play through him again someday. 8. Akaavi Spar

Man, I love warrior women. Especially ones who soften up over time, just like Akaavi here. I honestly have a soft spot for characters who completely wall themselves off from everyone else, but slowly begin to let other people into their boundaries as they open up. I know some people might not like me putting her over Risha, but I can't help it. Akaavi is just great.

7. Torian Cadera

Once more, not a whole lot to say, but I do enjoy Torian. His loyalty and courage are always endearing. One of my favorite moments in this game is reciting Mandalorian wedding vows with him. IDK why, but it's just so adorable for me. He, the Hunter, and Mako are an OT3 of mine. 6. Elara Dorne

Elara's romance is pretty adorable. She slowly begins to fall for you, spends time trying to adjust to a more casual relationship, and even goes out of her way to fill out heaps of paperwork and bypass regulations just so she can be with you. I love it. The one downside for me is the fact that you're her CO and she's technically sleeping with the boss. I don't hate it as much as the master/apprentice thing, but it does come a bit close. Other than that, she's great.

5. Malavai Quinn

Kicking off my top 5 is Quinn. The reason he's not number 1 is because I have a few issues with his romance. For one, you can turn the relationship very possessive and abusive as a dark side character. It's pretty scummy that the game lets you do that, and there is a sadly not insignificant amount of people who like to take that route. I won't call names, but still, it can get a bit iffy. On the other hand, if you're passive with him and respect his boundaries, his romance is considerably sweeter. It's really rewarding to see him show his undying loyalty and affection for you if you're not aggressively demanding it from him, and I love how you can rebuild your relationship after the Quincident. Really wish more people would go down that route. 4. Mako

Honestly, Mako has one of my favorite companion dynamics in the whole game, romance or not. She's charismatic and quirky gal to contrast to the generally gruff and straightforward bounty hunter, but still badass enough to keep up with them. And the romance, again, is pretty wholesome...and I'll leave it at that. Just plain cute and heartwarming. 3. Vette

Vette's dynamic with the Warrior is pretty much about the same as Mako's with the hunter. Which is why I really like her. I'm a big sucker for noble x commoner type relationships. Also in comparison to Malavai's, I like to take things slow with her, too. Instead of pushing every flirt button, it's wholesome to see her slowly come to a decision on her own and profess her love to the Warrior. NGL, though, I absolutely love how she literally jumps with joy upon being proposed to. Oh, and BioWare, how dare you make me choose between Torian and her! 2. Aric Jorgan

It's grumpy cat time. Another trope I have a soft spot for is the Defrosting Ice Queen (or King in this scenario). I love it when characters don't initially hit it off at first, but eventually warms up to eachother. Sure, when rushed, it comes off as contrived and unbelievable, but when done right, it's just amazing.

And Jorgan is just that, his friendship/romance evolution with the Trooper is a bit slow, but also believable. By the end of the story, he ends up straight up dedicated towards you. I also love how flustered he can get in romantic situations. Now if only BioWare made him bisexual... 1. Kira Carsen

@swtorpadawan and @magicallulu7 are gonna like this. Anyway, Kira might just be my favorite vanilla SWTOR companion. Playful, snarky, but still goodhearted and brave. And throughout the years, she'd still remained a favorite, both character and romance wise. I know, master/apprentice stuff, but I never see the Knight as her master. I see them more as Jedi partners (and perhaps more) if anything. I really like how you do help her overcome her past trauma and develop into a more responsible figure. Honestly, making her Bisexual in Onslaught was a chad move...if only BioWare did that for other companions. Conclusion

1. roger collins canon status: 6/10 they are the moment. collinsport's own jane eyre reenactment in a 1960's feudal sardine empire, complete with lovely arsonist wife. they're soulmates. he might be her uncle (?). it's true love. it's workplace harassment. they're fated to be together. they're doomed. they're entwined but never joined. they're marrying other people. they're mimicking each other's dialogue. they went on two dates and they both sucked. she's the adoptive mother to his (?) child. he tried to fire her 2 million times. they never even kissed once. they got stuck in a cabin together in the middle of a storm. he gives her away at her wedding. he can't stand to see her married. she is one of the few people in this world that he finds worth caring about.

2. burke devlin (mitch ryan) canon status: 10/10 he's dangerous he's mysterious he's tall dark and handsome and he did not hit that guy with his car. he's an oil baron. he's an ex convict. he's a millionaire. he's roger collins' ex-boyfriend. he's going to set out to destroy everything but oh god not her he would never let anyone touch her. one of the few people who actually takes her bodily safety seriously and moves heaven and earth to rescue her (repeatedly). two poor kids from the wrong side of the tracks arrive in the same train car from new york to collinsport. one of them already knows the underside of the collins' heel and the other one is about to and he can't convince her to get out. he wants to wreck the collins name she wants it as her own but they're both too-well wrapped up in the myth to leave it.

3. carolyn stoddard canon status: 2/10 girlfriends. that's all i can say. i just think they are very much adorable and they do score points on the canon scale, remotely, for such subtle lines from Carolyn as: "Just what the doctor ordered to keep the wind from ruffling your dark and gorgeous hair," and "Here, alone with you, I can't pretend." never mind their sleepovers in vic's bed hanging out in their nightdresses. carolyn would sooner own up to having a crush on her uncle than having a crush on a woman because this is upper crust maine in the 1960's but listen ... for a character who enjoys flirting for fun but gets extremely anxious about settling down and marrying a man, who prefers the most distant, unobtainable men that she has no reasonable chance of actually ending up with (roger case in point), who gets jealous every time vicki is with someone no matter who it is ... maybe she does like men too, but let's investigate mama let's research. with the governess, preferably. (who could maybe be her half sister? see no. 1)

4. maggie evans (blonde wig) canon status: 0/10 i'll be honest with you all this one is purely vibes but the other boyfriends suck so she still gets to place ahead of them. don't tell me maggie's not looking at her in exactly the same way she looks at joe when she's eyeing him up as her next man. she got straighter when we lost the blonde wig but this entire counter scene in e1 is one long flirtation session and for however many episodes she keeps the wig i believe very strongly there's a devastatingly homoerotic female friendship developing. i'm not immune to the short hair blonde long hair brunette wlw aesthetic i'll admit. as i said vibes only but just trust me. y'all fw cartinelli? ok. well.

5. frank garner canon status: 10/10 i'm glad you were very helpful during the laura arc frank but i'll be honest you bore me to tears why are you even here. he's got the personality of wonder bread and he's in the wrong genre he should be arguing cases on bachelor father or solving hardy boys mysteries or something i truly do not know. these two together just means bouncing all our lawful good off each other and it self perpetuates into nothing interesting at all. they're not even maybe related! maybe if we continued further with the betty hanscombe story and he found some damning revelation about vicki's parentage he'd have something fun to contribute to the plot but as things stand he's just a duller ivy league version of joe and if we're gonna have an all-american boyfriend i'd rather she just date mr haskell.

6. burke devlin (anthony george) canon status: 10/10 you may think that he cannot have possibly fallen from 2nd to 6th with a recast ... surely not ... but you would be wrong. i give vic props for domesticating him but he's lost all his panache in his full-time role as romantic interest, and now he doesn't even look like handsome squidward anymore :( like frank, this version of burke is much too obviously a safe choice, where the original allure of burke is the fact that she wants him despite the enmity between him and the collins family, his destructive tendencies, his jawline ... I do give him props for going to extreme lengths to make her happy, not only in their personal relationship, but her overall circumstances, and the other things that matter to her. you're not last but i wasn't sad when the plane crashed either :/

7. barnabas collins canon status: 8.5/10 is this a real relationship ... i don't really know. i'm not sure the participants know. barnabas thinks it is and i guess they were technically engaged to be married at some point but that's only towards the goal of using her to vividly hallucinate his dead girlfriend so does that count. I will say in their favor it was extremely funny that she had to drive the getaway car for her own kidnapping/elopement/vamp enthrallment because he can't drive. honestly that was the only part of this whole situation i enjoyed. also when she married jeff and he sighed and put his head in his hands he was real for that. they're actually pretty compatible and would be amazing friends ... or like, they could host a podcast together, or something. not this.

8. jeffpeter clarkbradford canon status: 10/10 such a shitty boyfriend that roger collins opened his third eye to warn her that marrying him is the greatest mistake of her life. his only job in the entire world is to make sure that vicki does not hang for witchcraft and he fails multiple times. possibly the most annoying man on the planet. what if we gave a ken doll the personality of a republican congressional aide and he's played by an actor that is reviled by his castmates. comes to the future on the power of wanting to fuck vicki i guess and to spite me, specifically, who's very tired of seeing him, and makes her have a car accident where she could have died. kisses reincarnated french serial killers in the yard days before their big wedding. leaves her at the altar to go play in the dirt in the graveyard. later marries her in a shotgun ceremony at 3 in the morning and then vanishes back into The Past. after literally driving her to suicide, takes her to be with him in The Past where she hangs, again, and then dies off the cliff. Even though it's not the most comfortable place in the world, her bunk is making Nori feel safe as she can hide behind the curtain that guarantees her privacy inside the tour bus. She grabs her favorite pillow and holds it tight - the one that she got from a fan as a birthday gift a few years ago -, trying to feel any kind of comfort like she could get from a hug. Of course it's not the same thing, but at least helps her to release the tension she is feeling. Why is she feeling so messed up because of a stupid tattooed singer who likes to play videogames and watch anime? For God's sake, Nori never felt so pathetic in her entire life. Not even when she was just a teenager and had a crush on a guy from school who was obsessed with aliens and conspiracy theories. She's a total control freak and she knows that she was about to lose herself a few minutes ago while Noah was holding her by her arm and getting so close to her that her heart was racing inside her chest. Losing control it's never an option!

The truth is that Nori doesn't tend to flirt with rockstars. She has known a lot of them and she knows how they are: selfish, always looking for a pussy and nothing more, loves to feel like they are in command. As a woman in this business full of men, she had to learn how to deal with them and she will never show any feeling that might seem that she wants something more than friendship. Yes she's always nice with everyone, always smiling and open for conversations but once a man tries to cross the line everything changes and she shows nothing but rage. Noah did try to cross the line but for a brief moment she wanted him to do that. And then, she reminded herself that she needs to stay focused on her job and not fuck things up. What if they fight? She has been there before. Nori isn't a person that runs away from fighting when there's something serious going on. Even though she is always trying her best to maintain a good vibe between everyone, once someone does something really wrong she loses her mind. She just can't and won't let anyone hurt her feelings anymore.

Also, time and a lot of disappointment made Nori hide herself from all kinds of flirting and love interests that might appear on her way. She was hurt too many times before and she doesn't have the strength to heal anymore - at least that's what she thinks. She doesn't see how strong she can be. It could be something totally sexual with no feelings attached but she knows that she can't control her heart so she doesn't want to deal with anything she can't control.

Her mind keeps remembering the scene that she witnessed earlier at the bar while she leans her head on the wall. How Lara was touching Noah's hair, getting closer to him and making him laugh… It's driving her insane! Nori knows that being easily jealous it's part of her nature just like the good scorpio she is. She wishes that she could be the one to touch him, to feel his locks sliding through her fingers. Deep inside she knows that the guy is messing with her real bad, she just doesn't want to admit it.

All these years that Forever Damned is on the road, everyone is always trying to convince Nori to let herself enjoy life and live some adventures, to be wilder and not too afraid of the consequences. Each girl in the band has certain habits when it comes to flirting and dating. Her sister Mirva has a boyfriend, a very nice guy who truly loves her and she loves him back so she is totally faithful to him. Auri it's hard to impress and she has an unfinished situation with an older guy in Finland - he's definitely her boy toy. But, if someone is weird enough to catch her attention she will give it a try. Maila and Lara are the wild ones. They like to hook up with hot dudes they might meet on the road, especially Lara. She doesn't need to strive to find someone, there are always hundreds of mens waiting to have a chance with her. Nori's habits are staying away from man and distractions, keeping herself inside her bubble and focusing on giving her best to her fans, always. Sometimes, she's envious about how Lara can be so bold and not afraid to seek for her physical pleasure. She wishes she could be more like her friend. Maybe, if she had a little bit of "Lara boldness" inside of her, she could let Noah get closer to her. Maybe, she could do what her body craves for her to do.

The truth is that Noah Sebastian is a hot guy, there's no doubt about that. Seeing him in person, and being physically close to the singer makes anyone easily fall for him. But he's not the type of guy that Nori tends to like. Jolly would definitely be the one who she would pay attention to in the first place and of course she finds him handsome, too. Actually, Bad Omens is made of beautiful mens, each one in its own way.

When Nori saw Noah for the first time in person, she made the huge mistake of looking him in the eye. That was enough to rock her entire world. She is used to guys with blue eyes in her homeland so staring at his darker gaze was what woken up something inside of her. The way he can shift between puppy eyes and totally mischievous look makes all the butterflies, moths, dragon-flies and all the other flying insects in her stomach fly around like a huge kaleidoscope or something like that. And the similarities between them are big, maybe because they are both scorpios but it's a fact that they have some things in common: they are both extremely perfectionists and could give their lives for their careers. When they love something, they truly do with all their hearts and souls, and this also applies to hate - it's 0 or 100%, there's nothing in the middle.

Another night, another show. Bad Omens is on stage and Nori decides to watch. Actually, she can't take him from her mind and couldn't resist the temptation of watching him wearing his sexy ski mask. He can't help but smirk when he notices that the show it's almost over and Nori is still there. His eyes wandered to her so many times tonight that he hopes no one noticed. Knowing that she was watching him made Noah feel like the fucking king he sings about.

While the band finishes the last song, Nori takes off in a hurry. She needs to be in her safe place, away from Noah's presence for a while so she can put her thoughts in order but damn! How hard it is. It's like her mind is sabotaging her. The way he looked on stage tonight was a turn on for her, she doesn't know how she holded on during the whole show but she can feel that her underwear is definitely wet.

She looks for a pair of shorts so she can change from her stage outfit but step noises freak the shit out of her. Her eyes capture Noah walking towards her, his face red and hair wet from the sweat as he just left the stage and came immediately after Nori.

Finally, Noah gets her attention. Maybe, an apology means that he quit her.

"And you couldn't wait? You had to leave the stage and come after me straight away?".

"Yes. I saw you there watching the whole show and I couldn't stop thinking about it".

"If I forgive you, will you leave me alone?".

Nori knows that she is lying when she says she wants him to leave her alone and so does Noah. She doesn't want him away from her, she wishes things could be easier and Noah could be a total stranger that she would never see again so she could quench her thirst for him without worries.

"I can't promise" he answers, getting closer to her.

"So it's a no, then. You have to earn it".

"Why? Why do you keep torturing yourself like that?".

Nori keeps messing with her clothes, trying to find something like she is still remembering what she was doing before Noah entered the bus. Everything now is a huge pile of fabric on the tiny couch. Noah intervenes and holds her hand as he tries to stop her from making a bigger mess.

"I see it in your eyes that you want me as much as I want you" his voice is velvety and shivering.

"You're dangerous, Noah Sebastian".

"And so are you, Nori Nurmi".

Even though Nori says no, her body shows the contrary. Noah is still touching her hands and playing with her fingers while her eyes follow his moves. Soon, his fingers run through her arm while he is positioned behind her, his nose almost touching her head as he smells the scent of her shampoo - definitely smelling like some exotic oil, she must spend a lot of money to keep her hair so soft and healthy. She closes her eyes, letting herself feel his touch on her shivered skin. When he reaches her neck, she quickly turns around so he stops his moves, which is not a good idea because now there's the mischievous look on his face again, his eyes capturing all the details on her skin like the little freckles on her nose and how the color tone of her green eyes changes with the light of the bus. A perfect black eyeliner drawn around her eyes with some glitter on it, long black lashes framing them. The red lipstick on her lip it's almost fading. She looks like a perfect Finnish goddess, so perfect that makes Noah's heart hurt.

"You're melting under my touch" he says, a smirk on his face.

"No, I'm not" her voice is weak, her whole body losing its strength.

"I bet you're soaking wet down there".

Noah's moves are so fast that Nori can't even think straight. He grabs her and puts her on the small kitchen counter, spreading her legs so he can fit between them. She feels so stupid that she desperately searches for a bottle of wine or anything that will help to mask her suffering. Nori wishes that she could leave this tour and go home, going back to her normal life near her family where she can find the comfort she needs. Maybe, if she focuses 100% on her work, she will be able to end this tour without going insane. There's still some demos and lyrics that she needs to work on for the next album and that's going to be her escape for the next few weeks. She just hopes that Noah has understood her side and will keep his word.

CHAPTER THREE HERE

Let's talk about Loki! Under the cut for the sake of those who have not yet seen Episode 2.

OKay so to start with, overall this episode of Loki was a pleasant surprise. Loki himself got to be serious and powerful and I enjoyed that. He's finally had a chance to shine in his own series. The way he played with magic, especially with the shadows at the beginning, was absolutely stunning, and I'm glad we're finally diving into his magical abilities more. He had just the right amount of menace in his interactions with Brad, and the way he was softer and rather understanding when Mobius flipped out was a wonderful counterbalance. So far I'm liking this version of Loki where he's threatening to his opponents but genuinely caring towards his people, and I think whoever was in charge of writing him in this episode did an excellent job reinjecting some nuance and some authority into his character.

Mobius was a little weird at certain points; he's been an analyst for like a bajillion years or something so I think in-character he should've been able to handle reading the guidebook, but honestly he had a decent showing too. Using him as the levity...it's not a horrible decision if it's not going to become a recurring theme, because I don't want him to get dumbed-down, which he's not so far; his deducing that there was set-up was quite clever and I didn't see it coming. It worked in this episode partially because he was also doing some smart stuff, but also because it was offset by the bits of temper and vulnerability he displayed, which were both very well done in my opinion. It actually added another dimension to his character that I really like, and I think addressing that he's more afraid of "what if the life I was supposed to have is good?" than if it was bad is an interesting take, especially considering he seems to be in the camp of "it may be the life I was supposed to have, but it's not my life," because it's good for the show to be exploring those different avenues for the TVA workers, and because it makes Mobius a more unique person himself. I'm also kind of enjoying his little ruthless streak, ngl.

I like the dynamic Mobius and Loki have together right now. Them eating pie together and talking about Mobius's feelings was a lovely scene, and probably one of the most authentic we're going to see out of the entire season if I had to guess. They're working together very nicely; Mobius sort of letting Loki go off his leash with the magic at the beginning was neat, and I just adore the way their less-heroic tendencies are playing off of each other (such as in the Brad-in-the-box scene). I think that makes sense for them, and I'm not looking for these guys to be heroes of pristine reputation, or even heroes at all, just guys who are trying to hold what little they have left together, so it's really hitting the spot for what I expect of their personalities melding together.

(Also, I'm now pronouncing Casey and Ouroboros a ship, although I doubt I'm the first one. The idea of OB being a celebrity to this one guy, and only this one guy, is pure gold.)

I will say, there's still a little much of the MCU-brand hokeyness in the show for my taste. There doesn't need to be something to laugh at every couple of minutes (not that I'm really laughing, because I'm tired of that style of writing by this point). The story can stand on its own without the forced comedy, and if it can't, then the comedy is only going to annoy people further. This is kind of serious stuff, and although I'm not against having some lighter moments or some comedic relief, I could live with Loki actually taking itself more seriously. But, like I said, this episode did feel more genuine to me, so it's not all jokes and quipping.

I'm still not a fan of Sylvie. Her existence annoys me because the female-Loki premise is obnoxious, and she feels so much like every other female character out there she doesn't really have the personal qualities to redeem the premise. Also, I find Loki's obsession with her strange, as she's mostly only been a total bitch to him and clearly wants nothing to do with him. (Which in itself is weird; her acting all butthurt at him in this episode like he was the one who pushed her through a time-door or something was like...what the heck? If somebody can explain that to me, please do, because I feel like I've either missed or forgotten something that would make it make sense.) I find her "normal life" as an 80s McDonald's employee strange, also, because that's...that's not the kind of normal she would envision. Her "normal" should be something regular on Asgard, because she's not a human dreaming of a normal life, she's an Asgardian dreaming of a normal life, although I do understand that according to the rules of the game there's probably not an Asgard where a Loki is welcome...yet Lokis are shapeshifters, so she could sneak in one anyway. That's probably a little nitpicky, I can recognize that.

So, yeah. There we go. This episode of Loki actually raised my expectations for the rest of the season, which is a nice surprise for me. I didn't think I would enjoy any part of this show so much, because the first season really didn't have a moment like this where I went huh. this is pretty good. I hope this episode being so good isn't an anomaly, because I was a huge fan of Loki in Thor, Avengers, Dark World, Infinity War, and I want to be a fan of him again in this show. If the writing stays this good (or gets even better, perchance?) I may end up considering myself a convert.

as someone who hasn’t seen Aquarius (and doesn’t plan to) can you list why it is so awful 🍿

girl i literally do not even know how to discuss it. i had a friend staying over on saturday night and tried to break down all of the plots that happen just in the first 13-episode season and it took me over an hour and i did not remember all of them. there is an insane amount of shit going on. and none of it really makes any sense or connects properly to anything else. my saintlike friend kept going "what does that have to do with charles manson?" "wait, how did that other plot end?" "why did they do that?" and my answers had to be I DON'T KNOW. IT DOESN'T. NO IDEA.

perhaps it would be more successful if it were more focused and didn't take on so much? we'll never know. it is way more difficult to follow than any nbc drama has any right to be, and it is extremely graphic and violent for no real reason? it isn't self-serious enough to require that many rape and murder and assault and dead baby scenes on screen. like. calm down. this is nbc. (actually what i'm watching is the unrated version that dropped on netflix but literally STILL)

the main thing that absolutely baffles me to no end is duchovny's character (i have semi-affectionately mostly-derogatorily nicknamed him "officer police brutality"), the things that we see him do on screen and that are implied he has done in the past tend to err on the side of abhorrent and borderline evil, often no better than what we see the abusers and murderers doing, but we still follow the story through him and are continuously shown his "Good Guy" standing. he's one of the only characters that takes the female cop (claire holt's charmain) seriously, he regularly looks after witnesses/victims, he's kind to the disenfranchised coworkers and spouses in his life. there are several little charming personable tidbits and jokes and endearments.

don't get me wrong- i exist in the context of all that came before me etc etc- and i'm starkly against categorizing characters as "good" or "bad," discussing a character like they're meant to be our best friend rather than a story that's telling us something. i just absolutely cannot figure out what the story is trying to tell us about him. i cannot figure out how we're meant to follow him, and how we're meant to interpret his role in the larger context of the show. in my opinion it would've served the cultural/emotional arc to do without some of the posturing. you don't have to make your central character a Good Guy. we don't have to be constantly brought back to the side of someone who often behaves no better than the villains, to follow their story.

duchovny is great in it, and i find it to be an extremely interesting performance. i love to see him take on the darker material and nuances that he hasn't had a chance to, sometimes he'll have a moment or inflection or mannerism that i've never seen him do before, which is so cool for me. but i do think the role is miscast, if they were trying to tell a story about a character who is of a grim time and is capable of doing inexcusable things, things that trap him in that time. often, duchovny just brings a natural likability. it's what he's been cast for, in the past!! a lot of these quirks, and endearments, and charms, come with his presence or are engineered by him.

which isn't a bad thing, i'm not gonna say "noo david duchovny you have to fix your typecast reputation. people find you too likable. people love to see you too much." but the script would've had to challenge him/that a lot more than it does, to pull the character off.

and if they weren't trying to tell that story, of a man trapped in a dark time doing dark things, i don't know what they were trying to do.

i'm sure there will be some nbcaquarius / sam hodiak shooters who are mad at me to read this but i guess some of y'all got the show and i just did not babes! can't stop watching it tho

Just Watched All of Mashle

I got interested in it mainly because of the second opening with the Jersey beat.

I really enjoyed this. I have a soft spot for characters who don't really think too much and just survive off instinct. They help remind me to not take life so seriously.

I also liked how respectful Mash is since I'm used to so much media that has characters resent their parents for how much they've sheltered them, but no, Mash is the perfect son, he's humble and thinks of the victories between his group as all of their victories, he's hard-working to an extent, his becoming more than what his dad is socially, and in the end, he plans to care for him.

I will say some things didn't make too much sense to me. I assume the manga goes more into detail about how the magic system works and the rules of the society, but the anime, particularly the latter part doesn't feel too well thought out. Like the red-haired character, the one who calls himself the main character, he has a moral code against squaring up with women, but why? You would think in a world that relies on magic and physical strength isn't valued that men and women would be on a more equal playing field, at least when it comes to battle. Is the world of Mashle like the Bewitched TV series where male witches are more powerful than female witches for some reason?

Also, I know that these moments are gag, but when you really think about it, if Mash has no magic, how can he turn turnips or whatever the screaming vegetable was into cream puffs? How was he able to resist that stupid bitch's love spell? (If the creator confirmed he's ace or something, I'm sorry).

Although this does bring me to something I think the show does relatively well, at least in comparison to other shounen. Mash is actually kind of handicapped. There is no bullshit where he starts off with no powers only to obtain anti-magic or eats a hair to gain powers or some other nonsense. He is magicless the entire time and wins in spite of that, even if some of the wins are total BS. I actually like that there were moments in the series, like where he has to get a key out of the balloon, where he actually does need help. I like that the show acknowledges that his weaknesses are in fact weaknesses in some scenarios. Even when it's revealed that he is a chosen one, the reveal doesn't feel like a betrayal of everything we've been taught so far. Because even with that in mind, he still has to work around having no magic, and the "strong" are still trying to consume him for their own gain and their sense of entitlement.

That also reminds me of the other part of the theme, when those two guys were having a wizard battle in the sky, and their ideologies were going against each other, but it's like, their ideas are two sides of the same coin. I think one of the characters even acknowledges that. The idea that the "weak" are meant to be consumed by the "strong" versus the idea that the "strong" are meant to protect and nurture the "weak." Like, the latter idea sounds pleasant on paper but then it also implies that the weak cannot nurture themselves (I'm assuming the weak is anyone looked down upon by their respective societies for something they can't control) nor defend themselves in any way. It's almost infantilizing. The idea has benefits to it. People need allies, those who can see them eye-to-eye or at least accept them if individuals are to co-exist. People need a room made for them in larger society. That shouldn't be done with the mindset of some asshole going "Oh, you POOR SOUL, WhAtEvEr will we do????? ShuSh, I wiLL SAVE YOU from your Disadvantage and CoDDle YOU..."

Maybe the anime tried to make that point too, because in the end the old guy had to be saved by Mash. It was just something I had in mind.

Aside from what I just talked about, this is a total turn-your-brain-off anime. Almost everything it commentates on is spelled out for you. Vilians are literally going around saying shit like "The weak exist to be used and disposed of by the strong. MWAHAHAH." but hey, subtlety is for losers. I'll give it a 7/10. A fun watch.

Hi! I finished reading Yeonwoo's Innocence last night, and I'm so happy I stumbled upon this story. I wasn't expecting it to be so deep and emotional. These characters have become so precious to me! I was wondering, do you know of any other story that has a similar relationship dynamic as Haesol and Yeonwoo? I need something else while I wait for the upcoming chapters! 😩

Well i'll tell you now that NOTHING holds a candle to these two (I'm incredibly bias)

When it comes to role reversal content where the girl is the more dominant one and the guy is more willingly submissive it is always going to be a hit or miss because the creator never takes it seriously and fully dives into what the dynamic will look like, it is just played off as a joke and the roles turn back into heteronormative standards or sadly and what is most common the guy is just a toy for the girl and there are not only heavy power imbalances but also non-consentual intimacy and than some.

So finding a story like Yeonwoo's Innocence that not only goes into psychology of the characters, the story is compelling and interesting while the romance is actually a role reversal is very rare. It's even rare that it is done so well and so much care is taken into it.

Yet again I'm very biased cuz this series is currently my hyper fixation and I am not coming out anytime soon

Now though there is some hope the few works I can think of that is similar to Yeonwoo's Innocence are

Looking up to you (manga) by Kobori Makoto- this series is honestly very cute. it is very similar to Yeonwoo's Innocence the only problem is that it leaves you wanting more.

Nude Model (manga) by Yamaguchi Tsubasa (creator of blue period) - this one is about a delinquent who plays a bet with his friends to see if he can seduce and hwt with the school lomer girl but a twist.

Pheromomania Syndrome by Ichiha- this one is a comedy and it's essentially a lot of teasing. This one is a cute romance about a tall handsome girl and short adorable childhood friend. The premise is basically she's in love with him but can't do anything to him because her thoughts about him are deranged and unholy. (Even though he makes it clear he doesn't mind) It's cute but teases the hell out of you.

This girl is a little wild (Manhwa) -

Honestly amazing. It's a reincarnation manhwa with a twist. not a modern to fantasy reincarnation but one where a holy knight in a intense fight with the demon king, her soul gets switched with a noble woman's. The story is compelling but the romance is even more so. The male lead is the captain of the guard and because both of our leads have experience as soldiers and fighting the rules of society and especially the ones regarding how men and women interact completely goes over their heads. It's just amazing. its similar to Yeonwoo's Innocence in that the two obviously like each other and are close but can't realize it to save their lives.

Those are the few I could think of someone also recommended seasons of blossom to me so maybe check that one out too. I hope you liked some of these recommendations.

Things I want/expect from Season 5 of "YOU":

Awesome pop music. Look, at this point the writing on this show is just awful. I'm still watching because I care how this ends. The only thing which has consistently been good across the first four seasons was the soundtrack; the music took the cheesy plot threads and cringe dialogue, and turned it into something that was greater than the sum of its parts. The world of "YOU" has a very unique feel; it's sleek, it's fast-paced, it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's a never-ending tedious party where everyone in the room is a shallow douchebag, but the worst guest of all is the tormented poet lurking in the corner judging them.

Joe Goldberg is too rich to fail. Season 4 was (almost) a complete waste of time, but the plot at least ended on an interesting cliffhanger: Joe seems to have embraced his identity as a serial killer, and chooses to return to New York, now having fought his way into the 1% and ostensibly is above the law. I mean, go big or go home is what I say. Not only is having your villain own the NYPD a concept which is simultaneously absurd and tragically realistic, but taking the plot in this direction means the series can't end with the predictable "he goes to prison" conclusion. We've had four seasons of Joe deluding himself that he's just a good guy in bad circumstances, so at this point it would be refreshing to see this character as a mustache-twirling sadist. The only good moments in Season 4 came from the show admitting that it had exhausted the premise of "misogyny from the misogynist's perspective" and switching its focus to seeing Joe through the eyes of women who encounter him. So in my opinion, Season 5 needs to really lean into the evilness of this character, once and for all. The feeling of insurmountability for the victims who want to bring him to justice.

Rhys Montrose. The Fight Club twist was stupid. It was incredibly stupid! The entire point of a story like this is that Joe's dangerous nature can't be hand-waived as "insanity", and the Season 4 twist ruined it!!! But you did it! It's done! The least you can do is respect us enough to commit to the bit. Because as dumb as an idea it was to give Joe a quirky British imaginary friend to plan murders with... I gotta say Rhys does have a certain charisma about him. At least he's having fun with being evil and teases Joe for perpetually angsting. So yeah... hope he sticks around in S5. Like I said, if you're going to make Joe a cartoon villain, at least own it.

Kate's POV Episode. The episodes where we're given a reprieve from Joe Goldberg's droning internal monologue are probably some of the best episodes. Even though it has a male protagonist, the story is still very much about women and femininity, and so the show wouldn't even work if it didn't occasionally switch to a female perspective to give us a window into how these characters see the world. Beck ernestly was just a sweet and fragile everygirl. Love Quinn was equally as neurotic and spiteful as Joe, but at least her quips were actually funny. Marianne was determined and resilient, because for some reason stuff like this always seems to happen to women like her. These episodes are used sparingly; we're only ever given a taste of what the show would be like if one of these women were the main character, but we're always left with more questions than answers, and that's on purpose. There's supposed to be a sense of violence to how little we get to understand the female characters; Joe has a pattern of killing women and replacing their voice with his own, often literally. So with all that in mind... what's the deal with Kate? Because Kate's weird, right? Even by the standards of a love interest in this story, and that's saying something. In some ways she feels like a rehash of Love Quinn's character, except she's colder and meaner. She's the first woman who is so uninteresting, Joe isn't even stalking her wholeheartedly. She barely seems to have any feelings for him, and their marriage at the very end more seems like a finance-based alliance of convenience. What even are her motives?! Most importantly, she told Joe that she didn't care about his past before they got hitched, which if history is any indicator, is the equivalent of deciding to walk out into traffic blindfolded. Obviously Kate is going to die; the question is just when and how. Hopefully before that happens, she'll get her own episode of "I'm starting to think this guy is untrustworthy", just so we can get the faintest idea of what makes this lady tick. ... Or maybe Kate is also a hallucination! Why the fuck not!

Don Giovanni allusion. Don Giovani is an opera about a licentious, aristocratic man who manages to stymie every mortal attempt to bring him to justice for his crimes. After taunting a victim for her failure to stop him, a literal Deus ex Machina intervenes and a living statue shows up to drag Giovanni to hell. If you ask me, this is how Netflix's "YOU" should end! Joe going to prison would be too cliché, Joe getting shot in the face by an enemy would be too cliché. But the series has been doing backflips over the proverbial shark for a solid season and a half by now, so why the hell not end with a supernatural horror twist? It would actually be perfect: Joe has gotten so rich and so powerful, that none of his victims have any real hope of bringing him to justice. But so egregious are this man's sins, that the cosmic balance had to get directly involved to punish him. It would provide a cathartic ending while still keeping with the story's overarching theme of a fundamentally broken and unjust society. It's karma, but on such an absurdly literal scale, that the audience is reminded how unrealistic it is to hope God has ever and will ever do something to stop the bad guys.

Kaga x Megami - Actors AU

I have a lot of AU ideas for these two. I can't stop myself. I AM SORRY- 😭✋️

They both started their acting careers at a very young age.

Megami is known to be the daughter of the best actors in Japan. (Saikou Corp doesn't exist in this universe) Her brother is an actor as well. Ichirou began his acting career at the age of 5, so he's been in a lot of movies that came out during the 1980s along with his wife. They both met when they got the role of a movie. The Saikou family is quite known all over Japan.

Kaga and Megami haven't met, but they know each other's existence.

The first time they met was when they were both casted to the mad scientist, and the "Mary Sue" for a series named ' LoveSick'. They were both love interest to each other, and partners( like working together) in the series.

Every character in Yandere Simulator is an actor in this universe. Ayano is an actor. Taro is an actor, and so on. During the time it has been aired, it has gotten a lot of attention and fans that caused this series to have more than one season.

Megami was known for her famous parents, but she's known for being the main female character in some shows, movies, and novels. She had the perfect looks, the perfect acting, the passion for her career, etc. She has millions of fans.

Kencho and Megami get along in this universe. Kencho has a lot of fans as well, but he is quite spoiled (still) They both practice their lines with each other whenever they get a new role in some kind of film, show, etc.

Kaga's parents are not actors. The only actor is Kaga. His parents made sure to put him in the best school for his career and have been by his side once they noticed his potential.

Kaga has worked hard during his youth, and now, for his fame, his acting, and his money. He is determined to show the world how determined and talented he is. Because of this, he is always up, practicing his acting, and always trying to get more roles in different types of movies, shows, novels,etc. Even if he's fatigued, his determination is very high, and he's not giving up.

People call Kaga a "Genius." The main reason why they call him a Genius is because whenever he's been casted to play a character, he makes his research. He goes online to research the character( for example, a character from a famous anime/ manga or a famous actor who has passed.) He is always in his room researching the background of the character, the body language, the personality, the events the character has been through, disorders, etc. He has many papers hung on his wall about the character and puts himself in their shoes. Once he is in front of the camera, people say around the lines of:

"Kaga Kusha is a very talented young man. A talent that is one of a kind. It's quite rare to meet a person with his talent nowadays. A few actors have this amazing skill, and I'm glad I'm able to witness it with my own eyes. He is quite interesting. This young man is very determined and takes his career seriously. Once he is in front of a camera, he immediately perfects the character as if he is the character himself. It feels like the person he is playing is here with us at this moment and room. No wonder people call him a genius."

Kaga is also known to play the villains of shows, movies, novels, etc. His crazy eyes and evil laugh are perfect for the role, even for the broken villains. He does do good guys too, don't worry, lol. (This is also a reason why he was cast as the mad scientist in "LoveSick")

He is also seen in telenovelas cuz he does speak Spanish 👀

Once he heard he was cast as the role of a mad scientist in the series, he was excited. Since he was a mad scientist, he had to wear a wig (the gray-blue-ish color hair. The one in the game), and had to wear those scientist clothing. He has black hair in this universe. ( the whole experiment gone wrong/hair change, and stuff that he made (inventions and experiments) doesn't exist here).

Kaga did have some traumatizing roles. ( Playing the role of real life serial killers)

Megami and Kaga began to work together once they got their roles for "LoveSick." They spent a lot of time together to practice their scenes, lines, and their characters. That's how their friendship formed.

Megami did research on Kaga to know more about him. She read about how people saw him and his amazing skill of perfecting a character he got cast as in his past works. She felt quite honored to be in the presence of a genius. Kaga admired Megami very much for her work and talent and how famous her family was. After all, Megami was more famous than he was,so it was an honor to work with her.

They have been in a lot of scenes together during the shooting of "LoveSick.". They have been doing a lot of romantic scenes, intense scenes, wholesome scenes, and some +18 scenes with each other during the series.

They have kissed before many times and have made two +18 sexual scene in the series of "LoveSick."

After and before shooting their scenes, they would always eat together to talk about the series and get to know each other.

Kaga would take Megami to places she hasn't been to before and try new foods that she hasn't tasted before, or simply go in a stroll around the city. They sometimes bump into fans and stuff. They're famous. They can't help it.

They have many fans shipping their characters (👀). A lot of fans also love when these two are together in huge events. They always found them cute together, especially from how different their personalities are. Megami doesn't care much. She's already used to it with other male and female actors. Kaga is an addition to the list. Kaga doesn't mind. All actors experienced this. It's nothing new.

With their time together, the closer they became to the point of sometimes witnessing the dark times each one of them go through.

Megami is always trying her hardest to be perfect, just like her parents. She is seen as the perfect actor and daughter in the eyes of her parents. She wants to keep up that expectation, even if she is fatigued or needs a break. She is pushing herself as much as possible to make her parents proud of her. No failure or mistake is allowed in the family. Sometimes, when it is too much for her, she breaks down. She forgets that she's human. Not a robot.

Many of her fans admire her for being a strong woman even though Megami, deep down, isn't. Some of her fans see her as an object, not a human.

Kaga doesn't suffer the same problem. His parents don't mind that their son makes mistakes. They know he's not perfect. That's something they know and know that no human can be perfect even if they tried. It's impossible. His parents always remind him of that.

However, since he is known as the genius and who can perfectly act out a character, a lot of people believe that Kaga is quite weird for how perfect he can act out a character. Many people say it's for attention, others say he's a stalker, or a creep, others say that he wants to be on top of other famous actors that are way better than he is, and some say that Kaga is losing himself in perfecting the characters he gets casted as. Kaga would always ignore those comments, but some words do hurt him. Some words do hurt him to the point of him feeling down or sheding a few tears when he's alone.

The main reason why he acts out the character so perfectly is because it's what his fans want. That is the way he got his fans and fame. By acting out a character perfectly without any mistake, and that's what he learned to do during his youth. Its something he can't change.

Kaga has caught Megami having mental break downs a few times during them working together, and he has been there for her during it. He always kept it a secret. Megami did catch Kaga during his dark moments, too. Kaga never fully sobbed but only shed a few tears that she witnessed a few times before. She stayed by his side during it. With these two knowing their secrets, this caused them to become closer than before.

With their closeness and trusting each other, the two eventually developed feelings for each other without even realizing it at first.

They never focused on romance because of how busy they were with their careers. They never knew how it feels to be in love with someone romantically until the two actually developed feelings for one another.

They didn't get together immediately. They started slow by trying to understand their feelings and figure out if they actually fell for each other, or it was just a phase of some kind.

Once they realize they actually fell in love with one another, Megami is the first to confess. She goes straight to the point that caught Kaga off guard, but he does confess as well after.

Once they became a couple, their fans were overjoyed for the couple while some were against it. Some believed these two were perfect for one another, some believed Megami could have done better, and some believed that Kaga deserved someone who acted more human than a robot, but the couple would ignore the hate comments.

The actors themselves are surprised by the news, but they are happy for them both.

They don't get jealous whenever one of them has to play the part of being a lover with another actor. It's part of their job. They love each other, and they're loyal to one another.

They always go out on dates when they have a break from filming. They always enjoy each other's company.

Whenever one of them is not playing any character of any show, movies, etc, and they're pretty much free, they go out and cheer for the other one who currently shooting a film, or show, or novel. It's a way to show each other support.

Whenever they are in interviews, together or separately, they always get questions about their relationship, but they don't answer it or change the subject as soon as possible. They would rather talk to each other on what to tell their fans and what information should be in public.

They do work together in other films, shows, etc. They're either lovers, friends or enemies. They find it quite fun when they two are cast as enemies.

Megami sometimes gets taken back by how perfect Kaga can go and act as his character. It's unsettling for her, but she's intrigued and would love to know how Kaga does it.

They do experience long-distance relationships once one of them has to leave Japan and go somewhere else for a film, show, novel, etc. Both of them try to call each other as much as possible or send a text. Kaga mostly sends Megami heart emoji whenever he can't fully type a sentence because he's busy with filming.

Winter 2023 - What to Watch

The new year is here and we aren't starting it off slow. There's a lot that look worth checking out so buckle up, this is a long post full of anime recommendations.

Starting with some banger sequels: Vinland Saga S2 Tokyo Revengers S2 The Misfit of Demon King Academy S2 Bofuri S2 The Vampire dies in No Time S2 Bungou Stray Dogs S4 We also have the continuations of these shows, each one, honestly worth a watch: BlueLock My Hero Academia S6 To Your Eternity S2 The Eminence in Shadow All of these are some big name series that'll definitely have their own following. Personally I'm looking forward to the contrast between the seriousness of Vinland Saga and the dumb humour in The Vampire dies in No Time. As for new series, there's definitely a few noteworthy ones:

NieR: Automata Ver 1.1a For all you gamers out there, NieR is finally getting a solid looking anime. But also for those who haven't played the game, this honestly looks like a solid sci-fi series. 100% worth checking it out. Kubo-san Won't Let me be Invisible This is a new series from Shonen Jump. (I believe there's only 3 english volumes out as of now.) It seems like a solid slice of life and there'll definitely be a decent fan following.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill This is a series I started reading a while back and it's actually so much fun, I can't believe MAPPA ended up being the ones who picked it up. I think it'll be a solid show and I'm really looking forward to watching it come to life.

Buddy Daddies This looks super fun and cute. It seems similar to Yakuza babysitter but more shonen jump-esque? Genres are comedy and organized crime. Should be a solid series regardless of if there's any similarities to spyxfamily.

Trigun Stampede While I don't know much about the trigun series, I think it's crazy that it looks like this entire show is 100% CGI. I'm interested to see how smooth it actually looks because the trailer looked damn impressive. The Ice Guy and his Cool Female Colleague I've heard about this series and it looks like such a solid adult romance (as in they're actually adults). I'm stoked to have another series like this coming up.

Sugar Apple Fairy Tale The animations look so good 😭I'm such a sucker for this animation style and character design. Something about it just too pretty to not check out. There's also something about it that give me Mushoku tensei vibes. Giant Beasts of Ars This actually looks super different. The concept and creatures look interesting and has an oddly medieval vibe to things. Reminds me a bit of DND. I think it'll be a neat series worth looking into if you're interested in the Kaiju fighting genre. Malevolent Spirits: Monogatari Not going to lie, this looks like a JJK spin off or some kind of smaller SJ series. I'll check it out and see if it actually has any potential, but for now it looks like the standard standout mc with a group of people he's stuck with to fight of spirits. Some additional ones that look interesting:

Revenger I originally thought this would be a write off because it's so low on the list for anticipated series and the name seemed kinda bland, but the trailer actually looks neat. It seems to be an old school action with an anti-hero in old Japan. I can't really explain it well, but definitely worth a look over. Hikari no Ou This is the artsy series for the season. It looks primarily story focused and has the standard artsy animation style (sonny boy, heike monogatari). If you're here for the story, I think this is the one to check out. In/Spectre S2 This series has a solid manga following and seems to have a really interesting concept. Worth taking a look at. Spy Classroom Tbh, I don't think i'll watch this, but it seems like something worth mentioning. Essentially assassination classroom but with spies. If you're looking for the ecchi series - check out: My Life as Inukai-san's Dog This guy's turned into a dog and is kept by the girl he likes. Just 100% ecchi, very limited plot by the looks of it.

And of course, the 3 episode isekai/fantasy section: Farming Life in Another World Not much that needs to be said, but if it can stay as a wholesome farming anime then I'll likely watch a few episodes. The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World The animations look pretty solid and it seems like there might be some interesting creatures/plot points to this one. Worth a few episodes at least. Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte Interesting take on the current theme of entering shoujo games. Essentially these 2 friends are somehow able to talk to the mc in a love game, confusing him and pretty much acting as the angel and the devil on his shoulder. Final Notes: There's a bunch more out that that I ended up not including just for quality's sake. Save you guys the pain of all the isekais out there this season. At the end of the day, there's some really solid sequels of much loved shows and just as many decent looking new series. My guess is that if Buddy Daddies actually holds it's ground against some of the others, it'll be one of the underdogs of the season.

I am tentatively coming back from the shadows to come and advertise on here, I really am only open to one storyline currently, which I will post below. Before I do, though, I just want to say that I am still on a small hiatus. I am in the process of moving, and while that is taking up a lot of my time and stressing me out, I am finding some time to roleplay here and there. My replies will not be the longest, and I will only be accepting one person because I tend to get overwhelmed rather easily. If you and I started a roleplay and we just haven't started, or I went on hiatus, well if the plot interests you, do not hesitate to reach out again.

Okay, so as weird as this is gonna sound, it is a REALLY GOOD IDEA that will not leave my brain. So I watched the Barbie movie and while I thought the movie itself was a bit silly, I did fall in love with Ken. So that being said, I would love to do a MxF romance roleplay where I play Ken and you play a female OC! The jist of the roleplay would be that your OC has bad luck with men, she finds only jerks and assholes, and wants a nice guy that can prove true love exists. During a mall trip with her best friend, she throws a coin in the wishing fountain while wishing for true love.

The next day, a portal is opened between Barbieland and the real world and Ken is there. He panics and searches for help, and mistakes your OC for a Barbie, asking her for help how to return home. They search for answers together, and she has to help him navigate the real world. You do not have to know anything about the movie, because I will be changing up the lore to make it make sense for the roleplay. Also, the above scenario does not have to happen, it's just something I thought of, like they conjured him up because they need him so badly, and vice versa. A sweet, slow burn romance that is just pure and wholesome, like him.

I prefer partners 21+. I have a google doc with my rules that is attached below so you can read and agree with everything.

The girl is immersed in her thoughts, almost not hearing what Suga sometimes says.

She is thinking about how she should continue to act. Is it worth playing the role of an obedient girl and fulfilling all his requests? Or maybe she needs to try to get out of the clutches of the watcher.

There are many plans in her head with which Percy can get rid of him, but in each of them there is a gap that will cost her freedom.

“What are you thinking about?” without even turning to Song, the guy asked, finishing his tea.

“Me?” Percy asked softly, blinking rapidly.

Suga froze for a moment and looked up from the treats, turning to the girl.

Now she was thinking about how handsome the guy who was sitting in the room with her was. For a couple of moments, she forgets what Suga did to her friend and how he threatened. His dark brown eyes, it was almost impossible to see the pupil. The hair that was slightly below the eyes was disheveled.

“Do you think there is someone in the room besides us and I'm asking him a question?” Suga asked menacingly enough, which made Percy twitch slightly. Bags are visible under his eyes, apparently due to numerous sleepless nights.

“No," Song said, swallowing. The girl was stressed by such a rapid change of mood. “Just a habit," Percy added with a shrug.

Suga chuckled, returning to the brownies again.

“But still, what are you thinking about?”           

"I don't have anything interesting on my mind," Percy said, sighing.

“Well, I'm not sure," Suga grinned, turning back to the girl. "Your head is the only place I can't invade to read it."  Percy tensed, her brows drawn together. “Aren't you thinking about an escape plan?”  putting a spoon with a piece of cake in his mouth, he asked.

“No," Percy replied a little more quietly, clutching the blanket in her hands. “I'm just... worried about my friend.”  Suga raised one eyebrow, squinting. “She changed her mind about staying with us and now lives in a hotel. I'm afraid something might happen to her.”

"Very unconvincing," the guy said, chuckling.

Suga got up from the chair and came close to the girl who was still sitting on the bed. Bending down, he placed his hands on either side of Percy's legs. Their faces were at a critically close distance for Song, from which she moved back a little, but the guy just grunted and approached again.

“If you decide to run, I'll find you," Percy felt the guy's hot breath on her lips. “No matter how many times you try to escape, I will find you. Until you get tired of running. You'll realize it's pointless.”

Percy stared into his eyes as if mesmerized, afraid to even blink. Suga, chuckling, ran his nose over Song's cheek, forcing her to inhale sharply. He was pleased with the girl's reaction, so he pulled away and straightened up.

"Don't upset me, darling.”

“I wasn't going to,” the girl tried to sound confident, it turned out well. "I want to sleep," Percy said, after a short silence.

Suga turned over to Song, clasping his hands in a lock. The guy got up from the chair and went to the bed. He lay down next to Percy and patted the bed with his hand, as if inviting to sit next to him. Song looked in surprise.

"Parents can come into the room," Percy began, twisting her fingers. “If they see that you ...” the girl hinted that it was time for the guy to leave.

“Don't be afraid, I'll leave as soon as the dawn breaks.”

Suga was still lying on the bed, glaring at the girl. Percy hoped that he would still leave the room, but the guy has other plans.

Shielding her eyes and exhaling, the girl slowly lay down next to Suga, turning her face to the window. As soon as she closed her eyes, the guy's arms wrapped around her waist, pressing her to him.

Percy lay on the bed and stared out the window, fighting the urge to slap the guy's hands. She doesn’t want to see or hear him. But he persistently invades her personal space and thoughts.

When Percy closed her eyes, hoping to fall asleep as soon as possible, she heard the guy begin to hum some kind of lullaby. The girl involuntarily smiled, because that was how her mother used to put her to bed. It's just a pity that now the woman didn’t spend as much time with the child as she would like. The girl covered Suga's hand with her own, squeezing lightly. At that moment, Percy felt peaceful and calm, which is why she began to fall asleep.

When Song fell asleep and began to snore softly, the guy stopped humming a song and began to watch the sleeping girl. He liked this arrangement, so he decided not to "quarter" Jin for not handing Percy a note and almost blurt out too much.

Suga inhaled the scent of Song's hair, closing his eyes for a moment. The girl's skin is soft, smooth, and he wants to stroke it but restrains himself so as not to wake Percy.

Suga will wait until Percy accepts him and stops being afraid. Even if it takes a long time, he is ready.

No matter how much he would like to say that he is ready to let go of Song and that her feelings are more important to him — he can't, he doesn't want to. Suga is afraid that he will be left alone again, without a reason to exist.

He hadn’t received love and support since childhood, so he always looked for it in other people, hoping that they would understand and accept him, ignoring his shortcomings. Already in adolescence Suga realized that those around him are hypocritical and duplicitous people who cannot be relied on, because they can betray or abandon you.

He doesn't fully trust even the guys who have been with him for more than 5 years. The company that pulled Percy out of the party and Jin, who literally took the girl out of the hands of death.

"I'll lose my mind without you," Suga whispers, nuzzling the girl's hair again.

As promised, he went home as soon as the dawn broke. Percy didn't even realize right away that the guy had left her room.

The girl was glad that she didn't have to explain to her parents what kind of guy was sleeping in the same bed with her.

"Well, everything went better than it could have been," Percy thought with a sigh of relief.

The girl got out of bed and went to the closet to get her clothes and change.

“Are you awake?” the girl's mother asked, silently entering the room, which caused Percy to jerk and drop her T-shirt. “Well done, daughter. Come down to breakfast.” and the woman left.

Percy nodded, then picked up her T-shirt from the floor and dusted it off, put it on.

After removing the packages of treats from the desktop and wiping it, the girl snapped her fingers and left the room, heading to the kitchen.

“Wow," her father said in surprise. “It's going to snow today; Percy is finally up for breakfast.”  the man laughed, and the girl forced a smile.

In fact, she had deliberately set the alarm for this time to catch her father. Usually a man goes to work early, so when Song wakes up, there is no one in the house. It rarely happens that a girl gets up at the same time as her parents.

“Bon appetit," Percy said, pulling her breakfast plate toward her. The man nodded, finishing his omelet and enthusiastically reading something on his phone.

“Dad," Percy began, after a short silence, drawing the man's attention. “Maybe I can stay at my grandmother for the rest of the summer?” picking at the omelet with a fork, the girl asked. For a while there was silence in the room. Both father and mother were greatly surprised. They looked at each other.

“Are you really my daughter?” squinting, the man asked.

“What do you mean?”  Percy asked, frowning.

“You haven't even been visiting your grandmother with us for several months, and now you want to live with her.”  Percy's father approached her, looking straight into her eyes. “Tell me honestly, did you do something?”

“What? No," the girl replied, laughing. “I just thought it was wrong to behave like this and refuse to go to my grandmother.”  Looking down at her breakfast, Percy continued. “She's my only, my beloved. And I am her granddaughter, whom grandma also loves. I'll help her with the housework, with cleaning, with cooking.”

Parents began to look at each other in surprise, each thought about their own. The father was obviously glad that his daughter wanted to spend more time with her grandmother.

"Well, then you'll need to buy you another SIM card," my father said softly, smiling contentedly. “You know well, our reception is down there.”

"All right," the girl replied, nodding. “I'm going to pack my stuff.”

 Just as Percy was about to get up from her seat, her father stopped her, gently taking her hand.

"Wait, little owl," my father said. The man began to take something out of his pocket with his free hand. "I'll give you a card," he continued, taking the card out of his wallet. “Take yourself a SIM card with unlimited Internet, stroll around the mall, and today I allow you to go alone to the restaurant, where we usually go.”

“Dad,” Percy was speechless. Previously, she was allowed only one thing to buy, the one that they would like, and now this is happening. All she had to do was only being more attentive and make her parents happy. Even if it's a trip to her grandmother, who is not sweet little old lady at all. “Don't worry, I just need a SIM card.”

“Sunshine, you really should take a break and go shopping.” putting her hand on her daughter's shoulder, the mother said, smiling.

“Mom's right," the man said, getting up from the table. “Considering what happened to your friend recently, a rest wouldn't hurt.”  Percy nodded hesitantly, picking up the card. “We’re going to work,” the father continued, removing the plate from the table. “Get dressed, we'll give you a lift.”

Percy, smiling, galloped into the room without finishing her breakfast.

Getting ready in a hurry, the girl went outside, where her parents were already waiting for her in the car.

“Take everything that catches your eye,” said her father, looking at his daughter from the car window. Percy's parents have already brought him to the mall. “There is no limit, as usual. Just don't pierce your nose and dye your hair green, okay?”  The girl nodded, laughing. There was a moment of silence. The father lowered his gaze, closing his eyes and biting his lip. “I know that I am strict with you, I often lose my temper and almost never spend time with you.” the girl did not expect that her father would ever start such a conversation. “But I'm a man, the main earner of the family, so…”

"I know, Dad," the girl said, smiling. Percy, of course, often misses her parents. They can give her money or buy something, but no things and financial resources will replace mom and dad and their warmth and care. “I’m not a kid anymore and I understand how difficult it is to work nowadays. Thank you," Percy added, kissing her father on the cheek.

"Just know," the man began with a sigh. “No matter how strict and angry I am, you are my daughter and I do everything for you. And Mom as well.” The girl nodded, still smiling.

The father said goodbye to his daughter and left for work, and Percy watched him for a couple more seconds.

Having entered the shopping center, Song, first of all, began to look for a cellular communication salon.

There were no problems with the SIM card. The man who was dealing with the girl's question quickly arranged and explained everything.

“I wish you had your phone with you,” the man scratched his eyebrow, when the payment went through. “So you would immediately check if everything is in ok with the SIM card.”

“If something goes wrong, I will come to you and solve the problem. Goodbye," Song said, leaving the cellular.

Right, the girl decided to play it safe, so she didn't take her smartphone with her. Since Percy has decided to lie low, then at least something needs to be done so that he does not find out about Percy's intentions.

After that, the girl decided to go to a couple of stores to buy clothes and some kind of gift for grandmother also. You can’t just show up empty-handed, especially if a person’s always waiting for something.

Percy walked around the mall until the evening. The girl bought new pajamas, a pair of T-shirts, a blouse, a skirt and shorts. She also walked around the supermarket and took things that she might need at her grandmother’s. The woman lives far outside the city; hence, the situation with shops there is difficult.

“I called mother and told that tomorrow morning we’ll bring you.” said the man, sitting with his daughter on the sofa in the living room. “Have you packed your suitcase yet?”

“Almost, just a brush and a towel to put down, but that’s in the morning.”

“Good job. Now go to bed, I'll wake you up early.” said the father, kissing his daughter on the top of the head. “Good night.”

“Good night," the girl replied, and then went to her room.

Closing the door behind her, the girl, making sure that no one was listening, slipped into the bathroom, where the second phone was hidden.

Taking out a wallet with a SIM card from her pocket, Percy, sitting on the floor, began to put it in an old phone.

“At least for a while it will roll,” Percy thought, pursing her lips.

The girl, having finished the "procedure", returned to the room and hid the phone in her suitcase.

Her thoughts kept her awake. A lot of options were running through her head about what would happen to her if he found out about the escape and snapped. He will search the whole city, then take up the houses outside it, continue the search in another one. He would tie her up and down; lock hundreds of locks to keep her with him.  And what scares Percy the most is that the plan she's been working so hard to come up with will fail.

Percy didn't tell her friends about her move to her grandmother. She thought it might turn out badly. Both for them and for her. If Suga found out about what was in Shin's note, then it won't be difficult to find out from friends where she is either.

And yet, the girl managed to fall asleep. Thoughts slowly receded and with them the voices that were chattering at the top of their voices that nothing would work.

"This is my life," Percy thought, falling asleep. "He won't be in control of it. If he feels like a god, thinks that I’m in his power – plan "B" will not take long to wait"
