I guess some people see something in taekook while others don’t and you happen to be one of those who doesn’t. For me, it’s always been clear that taekook are just friends not just because I couldn’t see anything beyond friendship but because all the evidence and common sense points to them being just friends but I guess not everyone sees things the same way and that’s why we still have tons of taekookers out there.

As for Jikook, they’ve always been the most likely pair to be real to me not just because of what I see or feel about them but because there’s been alot of that has strongly pointed to the possibility of them being more than friends over the years. I cannot swear that we are right about them being a couple because we never know but I know for a fact that they have and have always had an incredibly deep bond. Also, I am positive that taekook are nothing more than friends, no matter what taekookers would like to say about them and the solo era.

I would advise that you try to find and watch as much original content as possible. You can find some on Youtube, daily motion, weverse etc. Try to avoid youtube, instagram or tiktok edited videos because those tend to take out alot of context which makes you misunderstand alot of their interactions or moments. You can also check out @stormblessed95 blog. She has done an incredible job in explaining their dynamics and breaking things down. She is also the best person to go to if you need to find a specific content. To know more about the other members you can follow member focused accounts on any social media platform but make sure you are not following toxic or delusional shippers or solos because they could influence you to start hating on or being shady towards other members. Find content like run bts, In the soop, Bon Voyage to really get to know them. You can also watch their Vlives from weverse. Since you probably use more social media than most people, I was curious on what you think of the ones u use, especially now that blue sky is open to the public

Eh, I'm not super well versed on them these days because I mostly use them to respond to notifications, post and disappear, plus I have notifications filtered everywhere so I don't keep track of engagement. ESPECIALLY with bluesky, I've never even opened the general timeline there 😅

Twitter is still my favourite social media and the one I use more seamlessly. I think I see value in it because it's not primarily meant for visual posts and there's people from a bunch of different fields and industries engaging with whatever all at once, plus the line between commenting on a post and making a post yourself is blurred which gives for some funny interactions. It used to intimidate me but now I'm just chilling.

Bluesky I guess is supposed to be the same thing? But I can't bring myself to engage with it idk. Back when it started I could see that the most active people there were the ones actively hating twitter, while.. doing the exact same things on bluesky they did on twitter 🤷‍♂️ so I think Elon Musk aside it's basically the same thing with less users.

I used to be big on instagram but basically stopped using it when they introduced reels, now I just post and disappear. I hate that they couldn't just leave it simple and uncluttered and the fact that reels became so popular pissed me off lmao.

Tiktok is a tricky one for me because I go "viral" easily there and it's my biggest platform BUT it's very addicting and you sorta have to scroll through the main page to find content to make + a lot of the time you need to make content specifically for it. Which is a time sink for me in a lot of ways :') I tend to open it every other month to maybe post something then ghost again

Tumblr is... fine? Idk tumblr definitely feels like both the most useless and the easiest social media to use. Useless in the sense that I never expect anything that happens on tumblr to materialise into anything outside of it. Easiest in the sense that it's just chill for me to post and engage with what people send me without needing to think about it too hard. Trying to get original content to take off here was in vain but fanart does particularly well as expected.. which means it only started being fun for me when I got into BG3 as I'd never been in a fandom before lmao. I like that, just like twitter, it's not only for visual posts, but get overwhelmed at the idea of blogs and formatting and sorting posts, so I only use it barebones and tend to not engage with the main page/timeline either

Engagement-wise, I honestly couldn't tell ya. I think that comes down to you paying attention to each social media's trends and how people interact with it. Personally I'm (very luckily) at a stage where 99% of the time I don't care about whether a post makes numbers or flops, and my platforms are big enough that if I REALLY needed something to do well I could probably find a way to make it loud enough so yknow

You shook your head. This was the third time Brock and Steve had fought. They needed this mission to go well after the last ten failed missions. “It had all been the fault of the two aforementioned bickering." They needed this mission to go well.

You let them continue arguing while you went to the place where the target was alone.

Somehow or another, you were going to make sure the mission was successful. You were sick of the pair fighting, and all they did was get your attention; all they did was make you think they were idiots.

However, it looked like the opposite was going to be the case.

It took them about half an hour to realize you were missing; it wasn't until Jack asked for you that they immediately started looking for you.

They found you unconscious, but you had a tight grip on your target.

“We've got the target," Steve assured you.

Hi! So I've been reading posts regarding my hero academia criticals since they've caught my interest, and I'm at it, I've stumbled upon your posts and account and...

Oh my gosh!!

I did not expect this series to go this bad😬😬😬 and I didn't want to watch the full episodes of the series since the debut of some of the characters like Bakugou and Endeavour, as I'm not a fan of them since their character traits really grinds my gears a lot (Bullying and the 'S' Baiting for Bakugo and Familial Abuse from Endeavour) and I only convinced my self that I'll watch it if they have some sort of consequences... But the series seems to their treat is as a joke or praised them for doing the bare minimum. And I Hate It😬😒😭😫

And because of this, I kinda wanted to write my own fanfiction about this series - as it was inspired by some of the authors I've read and seen on other social media platforms like Instagram for even design their OC's and how they would fit into the canon universe - to somehow address some of the issues here and there, while also giving Izuku the love, care, and support he deserves.

So yeah, enough of the rambling. I just wanted to ask you if it's alright for me to use the canon universe with its flaws to be pointed out by some of the characters - they are mostly OC's and one of them is my fanfic protagonist or something else, (I want to write Bakugou being the bully he is or endeavour rotting in jail for life😈😈😈)

And I don't where to start, to make this ask short (it's so long now, wow sorry about that) I want you to list what you think are the most glaring issues of the series in a summary form or anything that makes you comfortable and what sort of things and factors I need to consider. It's mostly just for reference for my fanfictions and I would give you full credit for all of this. It is also my very first writing project and I want it to be perfect when I'll officially publish it online.

Fanfiction and the realm of fics tends to be a very legal grey space and it's partially the reason why making fanfics into books can sometimes be very controversial. In my opinion there's no problem in using the MHA world to inspire your own story and even take elements of it however, I am not the creator of MHA so I can't give a definitive answer but I can say that when you decide to post your story do credit the author of mha!

Now onto the list!

Give victim characters agency and autonomy through the story

Give proper concequences to the oc's you create that maybe similar to enji and bakugo

Address societal issues of your stories using various elements

Make sure to use show and tell

Focus on the pacing of the story

If you're planning on redeeming certain characters please humanise them

Add to the worldbuiling. If your story is going to have superpowers and such please add to the law side of the universe

I think these are probably my most glaring issues but the one that makes me bothered the most is characters not getting proper concequences and the lack of properly addressing societal issues that MHA has.

"I hate you, Maxwell" Leah said, trying to catch her breath.

"It was your idea to get ready for the preseason together, not mine" June shrugged.

"And now I am regretting it so much. I liked you better when you were moping around and thinking you were bringing another Mount to the world."

"Please don't remind me of that."

"Then slow down a bit!"

"I can't. I want to make it to the new season in my best shape ever" June said, starting to run again.

"Working out won't make you forget about your problems!"

"But it helps!" June replied. Because her personal life was a mess. 

She had not heard from Ben since he had confessed his feelings for her, which meant that she didn't know if Mason had told him about what had happened between them. And she couldn't ask him if he had done it because he had blocked her on every social media platform and also her phone number.

So maybe now both of them hated her, and Ben didn't feel the same for her anymore, which sucked because she was starting to believe that she actually was falling in love with him. And as if all that wasn't enough already, for almost a week she had thought she was pregnant. 

But she wasn't going to let that affect her career. There was a World Cup at the end of the summer, and she was going to be there as one of England's captains. No one and nothing was going to take that away from her.

"Ok, girls. Let's do this!" June said to her teammates before jumping into the pitch to warm up. It was their first game of the pre-season, the moment she had been looking forward for the past month. 

As she stepped out, she couldn't help to look to her left, to where the tv set was supposed to be. But there was nothing there, and he wasn't going to be there either throughout the season. 

Ben had changed teams and would now comment on the men's games. Officially he had said that it was because he needed a new challenge, joked that some of his mates had gone lazy and they deserved the wrath of his comments. But June knew what was the real reason behind it. Her.

Minute 70. Chelsea was comfortably winning 2-0, June scoring the first goal. But she wanted more.

One of her teammates had sent her a long pass, one of those where she runs and controls the ball as if she had a magnet on her foot. One of her favourites. But as she was running, her head looking up, something went wrong.

A loud crack was heard, followed by June's even louder scream as she fell to the floor. Her vision went blurry, the pain on her knee as nothing she had ever experienced before. She was crying, screaming, it was unbearable. She could hear her teammates around her calling her name, the doctor talking to her. But she couldn't focus on anything. All she felt was pain.

"Mum, can you please stop? It's just a photo for Instagram, not for Vogue" June said.

"I know" she replied, putting a lock of hair behind her ear. "But it is going to be everywhere since it will be your first photo after surgery, and I know that if you don't look good you'll get mad at us when you see it again in a few days because how did we allow you to take a photo looking like that."

"That's true" John chuckled.

"Whatever" June said, rolling her eyes.

"A nurse just gave me these for you" her dad said, walking into the room.

"Oh, wow" June gasped.

"Those are beautiful!" her mum said, looking at the huge bouquet of flowers. "Who has sent them?" 

"No one" she said, trying to hide the note.

"Someone must have sent them, June."

"A boy. Look at the colour of her cheeks" her dad laughed.

"A boy? What boy? June, do you have a boyfriend?"

"What? No!"

"Are you seeing someone?"

"No, I'm not."

"Then who sent those flowers?"

"A friend, ok? Now can we please take that photo?" 

"What friend?"

"Mum!" June protested.

"Ok, ok… John, do you know who he is?"

"I have my suspicions" he smirked. "But I'm not telling you anything, so don't ask again."

"Boring" their mum replied.

"Are we taking the photo or not?" June asked again.

"We are, we are. Give me the flowers, I'll put them with the others."

"No! I want them in the photo."

"Why?" her mum asked, arching an eyebrow.

"I just want them, ok? Now take that damn photo."

"You take it, John. I'm gonna find a glass or something to put the flowers in" their mum said, leaving the room.

"Ready, sis?" John chuckled.

"Ready" June replied, smiling at the camera and hugging the flowers. She knew who had sent them, she had recognized the handwriting the moment she had seen the note. And if he got to see the photo, she wanted him to notice them, to know how much receiving them had meant to her.

"Hope surgery has gone well. Now the tough work starts, but if there is someone who can get in shape just in time for the World Cup, that's you. You can do it, June. I believe in you. Your favourite peach and pundit, Ben."

LADY GABBY • Gabby started her channel a few weeks after her Instagram started to pick up, as anyone does, and started advertising her channel through her other socials, gaining it some leverage on the platform. • She posts anything and everything she feels like, when she wants, when she thinks of it. Anything from positivity videos, to life updates and storytimes, to make-up tutorials, all of which have a very successful view count. • She's livestreamed on the platform a few times, most often for charity streams and drumming up support for sponsors or organisations, but rarely does these out of her own free will, as she prefers the live options of Instagram and TikTok. • After moving in with Greg, he was in more and more of her videos, and it's painfully obvious that a lot of the time he was not made aware of this fact before Gabby started reocording. He tries his best to make it work, though - anything for his best friend, and Gabby appreciates the gesture (the Q&As are especially fun!). • Gabby's subscriber count rapidly increases all the time, but now stands at around 1.8 million; a lot of which came over from her Instagram to get more content. • She does find herself getting hate comments from time to time, and in th past would've dwelled on them, but now in an attempt to better herself, tries to ignore or delete them. She tries to like a lot of the positive comments she recieves, but if Greg has commented on a video, you know it's getting pinned - he's become somewhat of a channel highlight.

GREG • Greg did not want to start a YouTube channel. "I don't really want my face out there," he explains, only for Spencer to refute, "I'm sure a lot of people also don't." • In the end, he was pressured into it - no, not by Gabby, but by Spencer, who was hoping to get a few cheap laughs out of Greg making a fool of himself and potentially going viral for it. More Greg content is more Greg content, after all. • He eventually decided it could be somewhat therapeutic to just talk to the camera sometimes, and get things out (and uploads these privately), and otherwise he makes little vlog-like videos of his and Gabby's outings, so they can have a record of the good times (these are usually more popular). • Greg does fairly well for himself at 2k subscribers, consisting of Gabby, Spencer and his alt account, Community Service friends, and majorly subscribers of Gabby's who also really like him. The number intimidates him quite a lot, though. So many people...

SPENCER • Spencer started his channel when YouTube was becoming popular, completely convinced that the up and coming platform would flop lifeless without his cool and suave presence... It would not have, but let him think what he wants to think, I suppose. • His early videos are mostly of him playing guitar and singing - the first of which was that old classic "Wonderwall", which he's sure people will love only because he's singing it this time. • As well as this, he eventually starts making videos talking about his cases but moreso events that have occured in real life, usually revolving around putting Greg down. • Whenever transcripts of Greg's cases become available, he gets his hands on them as soon as possible, and does a live reading and reaction, if you will, pointing out and teasing where Greg has gone wrong. He's basically just a Greg reaction channel that does singing on the side. • Spencer's channel is not as popular as he'd like it to be, and he chalks it down to the bad algorithm; he currently has 30 subscribers, and some of those are his alt accounts that he uses to anonymously comment on Greg's videos.

i've been giving thought to how i want to present my pokemon ocs moving forward, bc like. initially i never planned on making their actual story public, i was going to only post a very sanitized version of them forever due to various fears about that. but that wasn't sustainable for me and after a few years of having my ocs i finally mentioned their Actual Story some months ago back when i was posting about them a lot. but because of keeping them sanitized for so long, i was freely posting them on my public accounts that minors follow, and now that i want to be upfront about them i kind of have to reel that back and transition them to a more mature space since i don't feel comfortable jumpscaring people who follow me for fun pokemon posts who may or may not be children with like, my extreme abuse ocs. this is my first time navigating anything like this.

my current plan right now is to make some sort of containment sideblog for just oc talk specifically that is properly marked as mature content with community labels and then also have a space dedicated to them on my personal site that has an age gating prompt and properly warns the content before you can view any part of the site. i can't think of anywhere else i want to put them tbh? twitter is an absolute no because people on there are insufferable. i hate platforms like instagram and i think i might have a similar issue there as to twitter. i can't think of any art website that's actually active (and not deviantart lol) that would allow them and that has proper filtering features that isn't like, a website for NSFW.

anyway i'm just sort of thinking out loud, to people who have voiced support for my ocs i'm definitely thinking about them in the background and have plans, it's just slow going and i have other stuff going on rn. and apologies to anyone on the younger side who thought my ocs were cool before i decided to be more upfront about them, i did not anticipate there ever being a time in my life where i'd feel comfortable opening up about characters so close to my personal traumas but here we are

Body Positivity

I'm not gonna lie, I have no idea what in the hell to post on Tumblr. Apparently this blogging platform was popular with my peers back in our teen years (but I was too busy with MySpace)! I am a natural born writer. Ever since I was a child, the art of writing has come easy to me. My teachers in grade school always tried to get me to enter writing contests, but ever so humble me always said no. I'm known for being able to just sit down and within two seconds, words start pouring out onto Microsoft Word. I've always wanted to start an online blog and I've often been told I should. I've just always found writing very therapeutic and I believe I'm just gonna start one. Unlike most, I don't have a certain "niche" I want to write on or about. This is just gonna be my blog with all my random thoughts, feelings, emotions, and beliefs. It's gonna be like taking a ride through my brain, if you will! So whatever comes up, comes out, so let's see what we have for today shall we?

I believe for my first post I want to write about body positivity. This is something I've struggled with just about all my life, like a lot of others out there. I'm gonna get brutally honest in this entry. Lately, the body insucurity demon has plagued me. Every day I would wake up, I felt like I wasn't good enough. Not pretty enough. Not thin enough. Not fit enough. You name it, I felt it. These feelings and emotions definitely have kicked up over the past few years as I have been placed on certain medications that cause weight gain. Back when I was 20, I was a beautiful 120 Ibs. young woman. I stayed at that weight for many years, until the medications. I've never been able to come to terms with my curves. I would see women on Instagram that are super fit and, well, let's face it, perfect looking, and it would make me feel like shit. It made me feel unworthy of anything in life. It made me feel like I will never find a man unless I look like that. I started resenting myself. I started putting myself down. The depression was intense. I had to go in and fine tune my Instagram feed to where I don't see any women that are "perfect looking" because I was headed down a very serious and dark road of body dysmorphia.

But one day I woke up, and it's as if everything changed for me, almost overnight. I started feeling beautiful and dare I say sexy, which are two emotions I haven't felt in a long time. I finally woke up to my true potential and said screw it and screw all these people that say you've got to be a certain way or have a certain body type to be loved, wanted, admired, and respected. I started to learn, when it comes to the way your shaped, whether thin or plus sized, the key is confidence. When you are confident in the way you look and carry yourself with poise and sophsitication, that is sexy! No, I'm not a size 0, or 2, 4, 6, or 8. But dammit, I'm really starting to fall in love with the way I look. When I think about all the things my body can do as a woman and all the things it does do for me, it's so empowering. Yes, I have curves, but I told myself, I look like a woman should, grown women are supposed to have luscious curves. Now, with that being said, are there still some things on myself that I would maybe change if I could, of course. But I'm learning to love those attritubutes anyway.

I stopped thinking about all the things I hated about myself and started to think about all the things I love about myself. Turns out, there were more things I actually loved than I hated! My big green eyes, naturally plump lips, clear skin, large bust, round booty, beautiful hips and thighs, short stature, turns out, I'm not so bad after all! Plus, not to mention all the wonderful personality traits I have that make me a wonderful human being.

I'm so grateful we live in a day in time where body positivity is talked about much more now. I tell myself, that even though you're curvy, you go to the doctor, you keep track of your health, all your doctors tell you your healthy as can be, so, I guess I'm doing something right. Loving my body is an on-going process. It's an every day practice. It's something I have to stay on top of. Practicing self care and self love is so vital. It's one day at a time, one step at a time.

I hope, if anyone reads this and your struggling with your body image, please know you are not the only one. I am in the same boat. But I'm learning to carry myself with confidence and grace. The saying is true, we're our own worst critic. But remember when your down on yourself, give your heart a break. Do like I did, if you have to fine tune your social media feeds to where you're not seeing or have to unfollow certain people, pages, or brands, you gotta do what is best for you and your well being. I know I only follow people, pages, and brands that I gueninely love and enjoy seeing their content. So don't follow anyone seeing them puts you down about yourself in some way, shape, or form.

It's so refreshing to see myself in a gorgeous and sexy light now. I'm 28 and have the rest of my life ahead of me. I love myself first, and I know one day I'll find a man who loves every part of me, body, personality and soul. But until then, I'm gonna do me and love myself. Because if you can't love yourself, who else is going to love you? Be your biggest cheerleader. Just remember, your beautiful beyond measure and loved more than you know!

Every time I go on social media platforms like Twitter or Tumblr, I can post the most trauma-dumping content to ever exist, or even post the funniest memes. This image is all I could think about in regard to that.

In a world where cat videos go viral and memes have become a form of communication, it's high time we ask: Is blogging still relevant in the age of TikTok and Instagram?

Blogging? Whats that

A blog is defined as an online journal or informational website that displays content in reverse chronological order, with the most recent posts appearing first. It serves as a sort of forum for writers to express their opinions on specific topics (Minaev 2023). Over the years, the relevancy of blog sites such as Tumblr and even Blogspot (now known as Blogger) seems to be declining.

Tumblr, tumbled away

For Tumblr specifically, I noticed that not a lot of people are talking about or even using Tumblr after they banned explicit content on the platform. Honestly, even before they banned adult content, I still never heard anything about Tumblr. However, it was reported that the website experienced its most significant drop in the number of blogs following the ban on adult-oriented content in December 2018, plummeting from 521 million to less than 370 million in just two months (Eira 2023).

To make matters worse, Tumblr does not even appear on any of the social media usage rankings anymore. Most people nowadays would prefer using social media platform giants such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. In short, Tumblr fell off. From that, it seems that Tumblr isn't "the vibe™" anymore with Gen-Zs.

Despite Tumblr not seeing the light of day in today's generation, I do think that blogging in general is still relevant on platforms such as Twitter and its newest competitor, Threads (from Meta). I do think that some, if not, most of the community from Tumblr has migrated to Twitter due to the similarities that the two platforms have.

Twitter, or you can even call it "X" (don't call it that), has done quite an amazing job at carrying on Tumblr's legacy but through a different format. Twitter is considered as a microblogging platform that combines content creation and instant messaging. It also increases interaction with an online audience by sharing brief remarks using a microblog (Sprout Social 2023). Personally, I think that Twitter is a great platform to receive news, interact with the fandom that I am in, and also see who got canceled (again). I feel that part of the reason why Twitter seems to be more popular than Tumblr is due to the character limit that Twitter has, which is capped at 280 characters per post (without the premium subscription). As someone who suffers from mild ADHD, I would prefer Twitter to Tumblr for that reason. I find that Tumblr could be quite overwhelming to some people, especially those who have just started out. Twitter, on the other hand, is mostly short-formed content, that can also be separated out as a thread.

Threads (from Meta), is also really similar to Twitter in terms of everything. It is also a microblogging platform. In my honest opinion, I quickly got tired of Threads after a week of using it. I just thought it was quite boring to use and there isn't really anything new other than being able to still use your existing Instagram account to create a Threads account. It just felt really similar to Twitter and I think that might be part of the reason why it is not doing as well. I also feel like I am very comfortable with Twitter and have been a part of Twitter for a long time now (even though it got rebranded to "X"). I still hate the fact that Twitter got rebranded to X. No one can ever make me call it X.

Besides Tumblr and Threads, blogging has also evolved into a video format, called vlogging. Vlogging is short for video blogging or video logging (changing the b to v from blogging, very original). Most content creators nowadays would typically post either their daily routine or the adventures they had on platforms like YouTube or TikTok. Each of their videos has a unique style that fits the aesthetic or personal preference of the creator. I find that vlogging is one of the easiest media to consume due to the fact that it is in a video format where I can see their vlogs visually and also from their own perspective.

Final thoughts and prayers

Overall, I do believe that, in some aspects, blogging is still a thing and is also relevant in the ages of TikToks and Instagram. With social media platforms such as Twitter, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, and Tumblr, blogging will remain relevant.

I've noticed there have been very different but all uncomfortably invalidating ways people have reacted to bi Hunter and pan Willow reveal across different social platforms.

On twitter the Straight Men- you know the type- somehow found posts about them and started arguing about "heterophobia" and how "everything these days is gay but BACK IN MY DAY [...]" etcetera. On instagram there have been many "find God!" reactions and ppl trolling.

You'd think there'd be nothing of the sort on tumblr considering how predominantly gay and fandom-focused this site is but it has been FULL of people arguing whether it's canon or not, if it even counts as a reveal, if it can be celebrated at all. And even though all the other forms of people hating on the bi/pan reveal quickly died down, you STILL see the same arguments on tumblr over and over again. Like- Can't we just be happy that the author has written them with intention of them being bi4pan since the start instead of being like "um ☝️ but TECHNICALLY it might not count as canon" just because you get hung up on the technicalities of the definition of canon or because you want the ability to erase their identities with a clear conscience? I'm so serious, I have ONLY seen this many people arguing about how "bi Hunter/pan Willow shouldn't be considered canon" on tumblr, NOWHERE else. And this is supposed to be the "chill, gay-friendly platform." Just because it doesn't seem like a typical homophobia at first glance, it doesn't mean that it doesn't fall under the definition of homophobia (or bi/panphobia at the very least). It's invalidating to people who feel represented by Hunter and/or Willow. And it also isn't a good look for you if the openly homophobic people would agree with your stance on it, about how "eh they're not technically lgbt because I haven't caught anything explicitly gay on-screen" (which, if you argue that their identities are not canon at all... then yeah, the homophobes would agree). Feel free to personally think it's not canon or whatever but don't argue people about it when they think it IS canon, because your POV is not an objective stance that everyone has to agree with.

LMFAO no..i don't have a linked in.

i think it varies based on what you're on social media for obviously. and i have all of them! ppl i went to high school with who never left town and got married and had 4 kids are on facebook. instagram is very normal. twitter is for either being a blue check and writing think pieces or farming for interactions OR being 14 years old and on fandom twitter. theres like very little middle ground. tumblr has ALWAYS, to me, been the best place for a 20s/30s person to interact with a fandom and i say that as someone who has been on this same blog from the ages of 14-30. which is REALLY upsetting for me to say! i hate being 30.

but like i said, i have accounts on all of the main platforms. i use facebook to stalk ppl i don't care about and to post major life milstones if i feel like flexing (which i rarely do lmfao). instagram i only use if i've gone on a trip/shows/monthly dump. but i open it daily to look at my explore page or see what friends have posted. i also use my story on there. but for nothing important. twitter i do use regularly but i think it sucks now and i dont feel welcome in fandom convos on there due to my age. tumblr is perfect. also due to the fact that the sponsored/suggested content on here is minimal whereas on twitter its almost all i see. and yes i get stuck in rabbit holes on there and on insta but i dont feel like i gain anything from it, whereas going on tumblr is more of a mindful experience for me. insta/twitter are mindless but if i go on tumblr im actually engaged. and like i said, there has always been more room for ADULTS on tumblr. a lot of us have grown up on here and some people maintain their interests and some people shift but i feel like i genuinely know the strangers i follow on here more than i do on any other platform, and i also dont follow people randomly on those apps as much as i do on here.

so idk if i went too in depth but no i dont feel relegated to linkedin since im 30 now. i think tumblr is genuinely the best social media, in general, but also for someone my age who is interested in interacting with fandom content....just because i dont see much mcr right now doesn't mean i'll leave. i think this is the best space espeically for if you have intricate thoughts on a subject or want to create content.

also btw i dont have tiktok and i never will, i see plenty of the 'good ones' on other social media

Okay, this is probably going to be veeerrrryyyy long, sorry but I have to get something off my chest. There are a few things I've been discussing with others recently and everyone agreed that I could share it with you here. No one has to agree with me/us.

Okay, let's go.

Katelyn and Malia- We personally don't like them BUT we don't spread hate or comment on their pictures, we don't follow them or anything else. If Sam and Colby are happy, they are happy and that is the only thing that matters to us! I can't take all this drama anymore, really. One of the things we say is that you don't have to like the girls and you can still support SnC. JUST DON'T SPREAD HATE!! There's too much of it in the fandom.

Stas and Kat- Yes, many, probably 90% of the fandom miss them BUT Sam and Colby have moved on in life and the fandom has to do the same. We will never see Stas and Kat in a SnC video again. Nevertheless, you can still support Stas and Kat. We will never see Sam and Kat again, that's the reality, just like we will never see Stas and Colby together again.

The Collabs- Yes, of course, some people like the collabs, some don't. We personally like the collabs but we still wish that SnC would do something alone in a video again without the collabs. It is also sometimes questionable who they are filming a video with. SnC should find out more about that, but that doesn't really matter now. The fact is, if SnC only did something on their own, the fans would (maybe) get bored after a while and then the questions about this or that person who should be in the video come more and more frequently.

Social Media- I have read a lot that fans think (not all of them, of course) that Sam and Colby are too rarely active on platforms like Twitter, Instagram and many more. But have most people perhaps already thought about the fact that the two are 27 and their lives do not just consist of sitting on their cell phones? There is still a private life that the two of them lead, which clearly means that you don't have to share your life completely just because you are a public figure. Sam and Colby are not obligated to share their whole lives with us and i mean everything with that.

Merch- I can't say much about it, except that it's too expensive and unfortunately some fans just can't afford it. Some people want the old merch back, maybe Sam and Colby will consider bringing the old merch back in for a while.

Sam and Colby ignore their fans- NO, DAMN IT. These two are totally busy bringing us content this year!! They travel here and there, stay up all night shooting their videos, editing, cutting and everything. They even got help to make things move faster, what more could fans want? Yes, it may be that Sam and Colby don't like many merch pics at the moment, but there is probably an explanation for that. After all, they don't have to sit on their phones all day and like every merch picture they see. The two of them commented on a few topics, obviously not all of them but those that were in focus. That's enough. Sam and Colby have done enough for us since they started YouTube. Let them enjoy their space and their lives.

Colby's relationship- *sighs* I actually didn't want to say anything about it, but okay. He is happy, he is satisfied and that is good. He's in a relationship again after a long time, and the fact that he's liking more edits or pictures of her at the moment is completely normal in my eyes. He's just in love, for goodness sake. If someone doesn't like Malia, then they should just keep it to themselves and not constantly spread hate, which is exactly why Colby never wanted to make a relationship public. These "expose" pages are getting on my nerves. Get a life and let Colby be happy, thanks:) Whether it will end or not, as long as Colby is happy, there is no telling. AND even if it does end with Malia at some point, don't jump on him and say "we knew it." Don't. Fucking. Do. It.

Sam's relationship- *sigh again* I can't say much about it because I personally don't know what to think about Katelyn and Sam or us. Yes, Sam moved on from Kat after a very long relationship but that's just the way it is with some people. If he's happy with Katelyn now, then so be it, let him be happy too. Sure, we miss Sam and Kat, but the reality is that they are separated and Kat will have a new boyfriend at some point. To make a long story short: LET SAM AND COLBY BE HAPPY OR MAKE MISTAKES, THEY ARE NORMAL PEOPLE LIKE ALL OF US!!

Shea- I'll keep it brief. We don't know what happened between her and Colby. We don't know if she's telling the truth or not. But we will never see Shea in a Colby video again and some people just have to deal with it.

The Fandom- Oh, if I told everyone, I'd probably be followed.😂 It's toxic, most people have two faces and would do anything to get attention from Sam and Colby. I know so many people who edit Malia just to get likes from Colby and I could make it public but I don't, because i'm not that type of person. Right now, everyone is just jumping at each other's throats because half of them like Malia and Katelyn and the other half doesn't. The fandom is falling apart more and more (in my/our eyes) I have never experienced so much toxic stuff as in this fandom and it is terrifying! Especially on Twitter, for God's sake. OF COURSE not everyone in the fandom is toxic, I have met a lot of lovely people and I am grateful for that.

There is so much more but my fingers hurt and I think that's enough to start with.😂 Like i said, no one has to agree with me/us, it's just our opinion how we see the things. Have a good day.🩷
