its been three months since the very first time lorenzo berkshire saw you in class. he had never seen you before despite your presence being a constant since 1st year, and to say you hadnt gone unseen since was an understatement.

lorenzo berkshire has found himself in nothing but trouble since his little crush on you first blossomed , the very first time he saw you , that fateful day in potions - he had lost 20 points for slytherin in one lesson. and the reasons for his points deduction was simple , he just couldnt focus.

the amount of quaffles he failed to catch and goals he missed completely because of his focus being elsewhere , became too much to count by the end of the match. that slytherin lost by the way.

but even when draco screamed in his face and theodore pushed him into the changing rooms , his mind couldnt leave your happy face as you watched him - and only him.

the most recent incident was when he sat in an exam , not writing a single word because he couldnt stop thinking about how you smiled at him and said hello to him earlier that day. he tried to play it off as hufflepuff friendliness but the red tint in your cheeks and beaming smile blocked out any thought of doubt - and charms knowledge.

that charms test was the first fail he has ever gotten at hogwarts.

all because of you and your pretty stupid smile!

as he stared down at his paper a week later with a horified expression and a sympathetic pansy rubbing his back , he decided enough was enough , he needed to get this off his chest.

so later that day he now found himself sat in the great hall , staring at where you usually sit , except the spot was empty.

his leg bounced under the table as he played with his hands and tie , loosening and re-loosening it every two seconds.

"enzo chill mate shes just walked in." theodore said looking at something - or someone - by the enterance to the great hall.

without sparing a seond enzo stormed over to you , grabbing your hand softly and stopping your walk to the hufflepuff table.

"please come with me," enzo said as more of a command as you nodded with concern and followed him out the hall and to an empty corridor.

he stopped you so you were stood against the wall and began to pace.

after many seconds of silence you began to question why you were there ,"lorenz-"

"i love you, and its ruining my life!!" he said loudly , stopping in his tracks staring at you , not with anger but instead despiration.

he now stepped forward as you stepped back and hit the wall , "ive lost points , matches , i failed my test for the first time ever!.....please. please say no and let me move on."

i don't really have any solid conclusions about this yet but i noticed A Thing in a rewatch and i haven't found it mentioned elsewhere yet so here we go

the majority of the books are angled so that we mostly just see the page edges and not the spines clearly, EXCEPT for a particularly shiny and familiar colour combo right here-

in Big Four, poirot fakes his death at one point and doesnt even let hastings in on it and I'm hoping sure its totally irrelevant to the ineffable bois

part of the Pale Horse story is a group of assassins that basically try to pass off all their murders as being actually caused by like ✨satanic powers✨ which is interesting

christie knew a fUCkton about poisonings thats why she wrote so many into her work and, while i don't believe the poison coffee theory myself, it sure is an interesting link with how cyanide is associated with almond smell/flavour and that metatron chooses almond syrup in particular

(ALSO random side note that is mostly meaningless but I've worked in a good few uk coffee shops and have never worked anywhere that stocks almond syrup; almond milk yes, hazelnut syrup yes, but never almond syrup...? prob just the places i worked though lmao)

EDIT forgotten point: I've seen some speculation that the bently's plate reading "CURTAIN" could be a reference to poirot's last story, along side that alternate scene of crowley ordering the sherry for "miss marple", its just one too many agatha christie references for my melted brain to handle and I'm SUS

personally, as in my personal opinion, i just don't believe in kara coming out as somehow the next best step for her. this matter of being your 'full self' just screams 'nobody knows what work/life balance is' lmao. this is what we call 'vocational awe' in libraries LMAO i get what it's trying to do in that this has been the series-long crusade for kara. who is she? kara danvers? or supergirl? and i have posited elsewhere that kara danvers is her default setting, not supergirl. so supergirl's role in kara's entire life is a cape/persona she dons...and then takes off. so i think the bigger identity reconciliation should be between kara danvers and kara zorel, not the hero but the alien. she's superpowered because she's alien first, etc etc. but idk how to explain that without writing an essay right now so i will withhold.

the point is i just didn't think it was a satisfying end for her to come out as supergirl to the world to satisfy the juggling of her two identities. i think she should have just done a better job juggling them LOL like i think it's important to determine how to be your most authentic self but i don't know if it needed to be done at the face of revealing your alien identity. because i still think that the target on her back just gets infinitely larger??? what's the point of keeping 4 years of secrets to lena at that point? couldn't she have reached that conclusion sooner if that was the case? i think she could have expressed her authentic self by marie kondoing what's the most important parts of her life and how to let the *right* people in, not *every single person* in. also like idk from a logistics standpoint, kara should have just hired a fucking assistant for herself to keep things organized. the issue here is that she keeps working 40 hour work weeks for both jobs. and also to accept editor in chief? like those people leave work early. the solution was for kara to have hired an assistant, maybe 2. like the reason why she's conflicted is that she's working 2 jobs? she doesn't need to combine those 2 jobs and announce to the world that she's doing them as 1 big job. ETHICALLY she was citing herself???? god the integrity of everything should be put to question lmao

what would have been more compelling to me myself and i is if she really took a look at her time as supergirl and wondered if she should maintain the cape or not. like did she do as much good as she hoped? what about the people who had died or who had gotten hurt or whose lives and situations were otherwise sacrificed on her behalf? is this the life for her? is this something she wants to keep doing because she wants to or because she feels she has to? she feels a responsibility and i think that's fascinating for a character, and she thinks that there's a duty to uphold to the humans of national city because she has these gifts. but i think the ending should have been kara determining the future of supergirl, the superhero, and not how to mix the two and count that as authenticity.

tangentially, it is oh so interesting to me that this authentic speeches comes from cat and lena to be the ones to convince her to stop hiding herself? two people who are notoriously private people???? who are essentially living private and public lives??????? funny how that goes i guess

anyway it's fine obviously and if you liked it then that's also great and it's an intentional high note feel good ending yes yes good great. i am not trying to yuck your yum at all, but based on how i have since engaged with the show, it's pretty clear the writers and i simply did not share a vision lmao

AX Bungo Stray Dogs Premiere Panel Notes

Hello~ I tried to take notes while at the panel for the premiere of BSD Season 5. I did my best to transcribe what I could of the answers but there may be mistakes so please take this info with a grain of salt.

The three guests for the panel were Asagiri Kafka, Studio Bones President Minami Masahiko, and Kadokawa Producer Kurokane Chiaki.

Opening Talk

Before the episode aired, the host asked what they enjoyed about LA and Asagiri mentioned the view? and how kind the fans have been. I believe Minami talked about how he was here last year? but I did not go to AX last year so I'm not 100% on that info. Kurokane mentioned how the humidity is awful in Tokyo so LA was much nicer in that regard.

I think they also answered another question but I did not write it down rip.

Also they played the S5 trailer for us and it was really fun to watch in a live audience the screams at particular parts were funny.

What is the process of working on the Bungo Stray Dogs anime like? [i apologize my notes rly sucked for this question]

Asagiri: (He said something else I did not catch) I often think about how to make the story even more interesting and engaging. If you noticed in the episode we just watched, the ending is slightly different from the original manga, because the director had asked me to add an additional catchphrase.

Minami: BSD has a strange charisma. I remember when Kadokawa came to me with the series and I read it before sharing it with Igarashi-san and Enokido-san.

He also mentioned how usually the anime production staff works on the scripts for an anime but for BSD, Asagiri-sensei is very hands on and involved that he almost feels like a staff member of Studio Bones.

Kurakane-san mentioned the role of supporting and promoting the series but I forgot to write down the details.

This question was for Asagiri-sensei and asked about how he comes up with abilities for the different characters, I think?

Asagiri, initially: I try to focus on making them mysterious (lmao).

He also said he waits for inspiration to strike. Then he mentioned specific examples.

For Atsushi and Beast Beneath the Moonlight, the inspiration comes from the Moon over the Mountain. In the original story, the friend who has transformed into a tiger tries to save the other character from themselves. Asagiri was inspired by the relationship between the heart and the tiger in the story to come up with Atsushi's ability.

For Dazai and No Longer Human, he mentioned that the original work has a strange allure of making the reader doubt the act of living. From that, he came to think of the idea of the ability to nullify all abilities.

For Fyodor...it's a secret.

Guests' thoughts on working on season 4 and 5?

Asagiri: Being able to make it until season 3, I could sense that the passion and fire from the fans.

Minami: We wanted to deliver Bungo Stray Dogs to more people who didn't know about the series. One big change we made was to the main visuals for the new seasons. The older seasons tended to have more calm and but we chose more action-oriented visuals for season 4/5 to better capture attention.

Kurakane: We also wanted to focus on attracting the attention of a broader audience (new fans) and so for season 4, we made a 3 minute video that recaps seasons 1-3, which was received very well. Currently, we are running a campaign where we post highlight clips of all 55 current episodes. This was also targeted at fans who may have drifted away from the series, so that it would be easier for them to return to BSD.

What to look forward in season 5? (to Asagiri)

Asagiri: Everything (said in English.)

Then he went on to say I would like the viewer/fans to specifically think about the relationship? between justice and terrorism. What does justice mean? What does it mean to be the enemy? If you were justice, what would you do? If you were the enemy, what would you do?

What was your reaction to Season 4 and 5? (also to Asagiri)

Asagiri: Amazing (also said in English.)

They have made an phenomenal series. Five seasons. There are few people who can say their work has been adapted into five seasons of anime and it is all thanks to you guys (the fans) for your passion for the series.

What future projects would you like to work on together?

Asagiri: Season 6! A movie? I will continue to do my best to continue to deliver an interesting series to you.

Minami: (turned to Asagiri-sensei and said in a dramatic voice) Please let me read more material!! If you don't give me anything to adapt, I can't proceed!

Kurakane: The stage plays that have spanned six and a half years just ended last night. With that, I do feel a bit of relief on the workload. But I will continue to find new forms in which to deliver Bungo Stray Dogs series to you all.

you know, as i said in prior rewatch posts, i had been watching via GJM's fansubs at this point and was gonna wait for them to release their version of episode 12... however, that same suletta sunday i logged on to twitter and immediately got spoiled on this scene lmao so i needed to find out what the fuck happened and stopped waiting on fansubs (i did rewatch later on)

it really is such an amazingly well done scene though like goddamn lol

now that the show's over, i do kind of wonder if there could have been something other than this to become the spark of tension between suletta and miorine. with the exception of sophie (which arguably was more eri's victim than suletta's), suletta never kills anyone again in the show. her final fight ends up being against the gund nodes being commanded by eri lol so she just fights unmanned drones. it's an interesting decision considering the gundam franchise as a whole

i know it's meant to contrast against shaddiq's by any means necessary approach and prospera's willingness to do the same if someone tries to hinder her plans to help eri... but i really just can't get behind the whole violence is always bad no exceptions message behind the show. i do appreciate that shaddiq's plan basically still came to fruition and that it ends up being an in-world analogue to nationalization of industry. and it's really a cherry on top to have sabina call out whether that was for the best - not just that they nationalized industry but that nothing else was done to stop those who don't agree with what miorine did. history has given us countless examples of countries that nationalize various industries just for the united states military to come in and make some shit up and stage a coup and hand over said industry to whatever shithead capitalists were being piss babies about it at the time

prose and characterisation. i think i'm getting pretty good at writing in the pov character's voice. like if you take my house md fic and compare it to . . . i don't know my raven cycle fic, i think the voices are distinct enough even with my same writing style:

my inability to write long form is genuinely not only a weakness but so so so detrimental to me fr. every fic i have written can EASILY be at least 25k EACH. probably more (definitely more) because i write the moments in between or . . . [sigh] let me say this instead. with longfic, there's usually a moment or a scene that you want to get to, the whole fic is culminating to that scene so you write thousands upon thousands of words to get to where the that scene would make sense in context, yes? well. for Me . . . i just write The Scene™

i'd fuck up google translate so fast (and have), so something like "they speak in spanish" or "'hi, how are you?' they ask in spanish" would be preferable to me.

definitely pjo percabeth fic at the age of like . . . ten (10). i posted it on ffnet and have since scrubbed from the internet.

funnily enough i created a series which is just fav fics that i've written which sounds so egotistical, but whatever. there are 13 works in there, i believe, and most of them are merlin lol. but in recent memory it has to be a tie between JUDAS KISS and THREAD OF GOLD (both arwen fic !!!) because i experimented with my writing sooooo much there, JUDAS KISS being first person and THREAD OF GOLD being second person. i typically write a close third person pov especially for fic. my prose is wired for that, but it was so fun to try to do that for first and second anddddd i got some banger lines out of it so a win's a win!

Honestly I want Gregory, Freddy, Cassie, Roxy, Monty, and Chica to sit down and have a civilized discussion about what went down in the games and come to a consensus about their viewpoints. Logically Freddy learns that no the scams are not to get money for fixing the animatronics Casey's dad had to do it on his own time.

I would love if they could have an actual conversation but I feel like it would descend into someone shouting and screaming within like... ten minutes and I think the biggest offender would be Chica, mostly because Roxy and Monty are trying really hard and she's just. Not. She didn't think she'd have to try not to chew someone's head off, okay? She was unprepared! She got angrier than anticipated! Lmao rip Freddy probably. He's never seen Roxy and Monty being the ones to hold someone back before, normally it's those two that need holding back...

Oh but then again, Cassie is in the room. If Gregory and Cassie are both in the room, it would probably force the conversation to stay very tense, but not to the point they're yelling. This is probably a situation where they'd get Sunny, Moon and DJ to watch them while they have their conversation, ya know? Maybe Sunny is the mediator for those two in a separate conversation while the others have their own conversation elsewhere with DJ as the mediator...

Honestly, if you were gonna sit all the animatronics down to have a civil conversation about everything that happened, it would probably have to be after Freddy had managed to clear the air with everyone else on their own. All the parts would have to be given back I think and he'd have to put effort in to at least get everyone to give him a chance to explain, something that would be much easier for some to do than others. Would depend on how everyone feels and how much time has passed I think. Roxy would probably be the hardest to convince given she didn't like him anyway and Freddy doesn't know her well enough to really know where to start with her... And may not even want to make amends with her given their history.

Which now that I thnk about it, would impact at least a few of the others. If they're gonna work through this, Roxy's gonna have to be on board with it at least a little bit, so if he's made no attempts to talk to her well... yeah that's not gonna go great. It's no dog left behind here.

I love the idea that Freddy has put considerable thought into what all the questionable Fazbear business practices are for and jumped through so many optimistic mental hoops in order to come to the conclusion it was to keep them all in working order. Maybe that's just what the managers have told him over the years, maybe that's just how he interpreted the whole "more money means a more stable future" thing or whatever I dunno.

Though... Freddy seems to like the scam practices? He says Fazcams are usually confiscated in Gator Golf because they're only sold in Gator Golf and then goes on to say it's a very clever marketing plan. It just makes me wonder how many of these he doesn't think much deeper than "oh that's clever. I bet that gets a lot of money." over lmao

I went to check the voicelines on that one so I don't remember what my point was, but it'd be interesting if he assumed more money means more parts for maitenance despite being given no indication that's even remotely true

so just to set the stage here, I fully think both of these gals are crazy about the other, in the way of like, not fully believing that the other can like them back as much as they like them

and I think that would kind of shine trough a little extra on halloween

both of them generally enjoy this holiday, but they had very different ways of celebrating it growing up

In the Yaoyorozu household it was very glammed up, they either went to or hosted these big, fancy costume parties, always with themes, and everything was very polite and almost regal lol

while in the Kyouka house, there were more traditional celebrations, like fun, over the top costumes, giving out candy to the neighborhood kids, and her parents would often let Jirou have halloween parties with her friends when she was still in elementary and middle school

and so when they start dating, they both really want to try to do what they think the other wants

but since neither have much experience with the others ways of celebrating, they seek help elsewhere to surprise the other

Momo goes to Denki, who knows Jirou very well being her bestie, and with Denki comes Kirishima, so now she has a little team on her side

while Jirou seeks out Shouto, who not only knows Momo fairly well, but had a similar upbringing in the sense of the people surrounding their families

and with Shouto comes Izuku, who may not have much experience with fancy halloweens, but he loves love, and since his boyfriend, Kirishima, is suddenly busy helping Momo and Denki with some kind of secret project, he has a lot of extra time

Denki and Kirishima are going all out with Momo's plan, they're planning on decorating Momo's room in a typical halloween way that they hope remind Jioru of her childhood

Kirishima keeps being brought to tears by the whole thing

Shinsou tried to carefully tell his boyfriend that they might be going a little overboard, but it's far too late for that now that Denki is fully invested and hyped

while Jirou managed to get Shouto to help her learn some basic ballroom dances, which makes izuku super emotional, while Bakugo is sitting in a corner huffing and pouting at how Jirou is stealing his boyfriend's precious time that could be spent on him

but he would never admit that out loud

and he would definitely never admit that he kinda thinks the whole thing just a little sweet

so, when halloween finally comes around, they both have plans they're desperately trying to get to work

Jirou is planning on taking Momo out to their special spot in the park by the dorms to look at the stars and then ask her to dance with her and surprise her with knowing how to

and Momo is planning on decorating all of her room in the typical halloween decorations and watch Jirou's favorite scary movies in the new matching PJ's she's gotten for them

luckily, the scheming boyfriends ends up figuring each other out, and therefore manage to avert the crisis somehow

without the girls knowledge, they all band together to sort of morph the two ideas together in Momo's room

they manage to borrow Aoyama's telescope, so they can still stargaze from the room, and the make space so they get to do the dancing, and get all the movies queued up and ready

so naturally, matching PJ's, the Scream movies, stargazing, and slow dancing in their flannel PJ's after the movie marathon becomes their little halloween tradition

I used to be really sensitive about every negative/not explicitly positive interaction regarding my story and ruminate for days about what I did wrong, but your attitude towards people not always being into your content has really helped me engage with mine in a healthier way.

Hopefully my replying to asks in sometimes an extremely untimely manner has not made you too anxious, it's definitely a me thing, and not a you thing. (*Quietly kicks my email inbox under the rug*).

Honestly, I can understand being sensitive to these things! I think a lot of creators are like 'you have to develop a tough skin' and while it's nice if you can, some of us remain relatively thin-skinned until the end of time, so instead we just have to learn ways to deal with it otherwise. Negative things still get to me, but now I can actively remind myself that it often has nothing at all to do with me, when it comes to my writing, or that I don't deserve to be treated with disrespect, or to be made to feel like it's my fault that *they made the choice to read my writing.* (I've never made anyone read my writing - but I do like it when it happens!)

I think as well, when people like and don't like your stuff, you're doing something right. It means you're making something real. I love onions on a burger, will always ask for extra onions on a burger, and some people can't stand onions and will be like 'ONIONS ARE THE GROSSEST THINGS EVER' (and asshole twats will be like) 'HOW DARE YOU EVER EAT ANOTHER BURGER AGAIN WITH ONIONS BECAUSE I HATE THEM' and when you look at negative comments through the lens of my burger analogy, you realise just how much what these people say has nothing to do with the people who like onions on their burgers. They are screaming into the abyss. They forgot they could use their little legs to just walk into a different store lmao. They forget they can leave.

That's what blocking, deleting, or reminding people that they could at least be respectful is for. But yeah, ultimately, people just need to find the burgers they like, and stop expecting the whole world to cater to them. Especially when it comes to free fanfiction / labour.

Anyway so it does make sense. I can talk about this until the cows come home (obviously). I don't think you need to feel unaffected by this stuff when the negativity comes, as long as you can gently remember some perspective here. Whatever your favourite food is, some people hate it, and the responsibility of those people isn't to get you to change your favourite food, it's to go elsewhere. And if someone forgets they have that power, I am always happy to remind them. And a block/delete reminds people just as well as saying something, depending on the level of troll you're encountering.

(If it's just general polite negativity I generally still remind them that I didn't make them read a thing, and they are welcome to go elsewhere. Sometimes you need to remind people that the exit is exactly the same as they door they came in through, they just need to turn around and use it, lol. And if it's general polite negativity with a few positive comments, I'll just respond to the positive stuff and ignore the rest).

(Also caveat: Doing things actually wrong when it comes to representing marginalised identities is an entirely different kettle of fish, obviously this is something to listen to and take on board and reflect on. That's just a very different strata to the kind of engagement I'm talking about here, where someone gets weird because like... I didn't make a character pregnant, or because I didn't describe a back story the way they wanted me to and so on (that's why fanfiction exists! Folks should write some!))

Sometimes folks also just need to be reminded of - or taught - fanfiction and fandom etiquette. Not everyone knows it, and not everyone picks it up through osmosis. But ultimately...

I'm being mean to Duzts in my brain oops, brain says he had a kind of traumatic experience at daycare nursery small baby school idk at some point because some other kid decided to take it really personally that his tone was flat and didn't show enthusiasm for something they did/had done so kicked up a stink about it complaining to the teacher that Duzts was bullying them as Duzts sat happily putting different colored building blocks in lines sorting them by color then into shape subsections because that is fun this is what fun is about lmao, so Teacher over like hey I heard you're bullying x. While Duzts is confused and they demand Duzts to say they're glad for this other student like he means it and Duzts is just??? Cause he DID mean it before what you mean but he tries but his voice like he can't manage the right tone for it and the teacher just goes on an absolute power rush because some teachers fucking suck like RIGHT. Go to the time out corner. Now.

And Duzt again is??? He doesn't understand why he's in trouble he hasn't been even told why the teacher is mad at him he just got told to repeat something then right into corner, genuinely doesn't get why he's in trouble and tries to be like "but??" unfortunately teacher is on a mad one and is just like oh! Oh but? BUT? Right that's it you're going to the Principal for this disobedient behaviour. Like ffs he's like 6?? Get the fuck outta here.

So he's hella distressed because what is going on he's being shouted at teacher is raising their voice it's really scary he's never been in trouble cause he's a good kid and he doesn't know why he's being yelled at its it's very very overstimulating and distressing and they're trying to get him to move to go to principal office and he's getting stressed at the threat of being touched and they're just riding this horrid power rush and telling his off for crying because no you're in trouble don't you try to manipulate me with tears I know they're fake. (He's LIKE 6 JESUS CHRIST)

It ultimately results in Duzts accidentally creating a psychic emp blast and knocking out the power while also cry screaming in his head a call for his mom as he just has a breakdown meltdown and May is just elsewhere when she hears her baby screaming for her and lmao she is Gone. Mega evolved and fucking ZOOMING. Has to stop herself bursting through the building slamming the front doors open to fly inside absolutely fuming because her kitten is crying for her. Some other teacher tries to be like oh ur needed in the principals office this is really bad and serious but she ignores going right past them to find her baby carefully checking him over that he's not hurt and holding him in her arms as he whimpers and hics and struggles to breathe for crying so much and she is absolutely fuming like what did you do to upset my child this bad. And she absolutely does not take the bullshit of oh he was bullying and arguing like nah I will forcefully extract the memories and truth from your mind and vaporise your brain. Just very fucking angry not letting them keep her back she doesn't give a shit he knocked the power off he's literally having a meltdown cause he's so upset they deserved it probably, she just gets Racopa and leave telling them coldly that if the powers off you should call the other parents to get their kids.

Later when Duzts is calm she's able to see his memories and she gets mad all over again because this some BULL sHIT but is calm for him and just tells the kids they're not going back to school tomorrow because she's not sending her kids somewhere where they're treated like that and she is absolutely filing a report against the teacher and school in general she's fuming. Monochrome probably watches her angrily do paperwork writing up her complaint and lmao is glad she's handling it (and probably stopping him marching up their angrily)

Unfortunately because it was so bad for Duzts he probably goes though a non verbal stage because he's internalised "talking bad" because he doesn't understand what he did wrong it just snowballed and the only thing he recalls doing was talking. Even if May tried to talk to him about it I don't think it's help, he'd just be unable to talk because he just gets so scared and stressed at the idea of talking that he loses his ability to. They probably end up learning sign and such to get around this

Which leads nicely into the thought I had of Racopas drummer being only semi verbal and communicating through sign most of the time and so Racopa likely already knows it and they feel significantly less isolated when she starts signing back to them

Y'know what would be funny? If i were to give Duzt a part of me i know and want to improve on.

Let's begin...

Duzt wasn't ever a bad kid, in fact he couldn't, he's too obedient, listening, chill, quiet, too good of a kid to do bad things... Well, he was bad a bit... Maybe more than usual.

One day, in school, when he was 15, someone decided it'd be funny if he went through a near identical situation to that of the childhood one, when he went nonverbal.

What they thought was going to happen was the usual bullshit: school is happy, everyone laughs, dickhead gets three hoes and various friends and becomes rich, yadda yadda yadda yadda...

What happened was this...

He tried the thing, framed Duzt for something he didn't do, and because the teacher is a fucking idiot, the plan worked.

He didn't get everything he wanted in life, instead...

"I'M DONE BEING THE VICTIM OF YOUR FUCKING BULLSHIT RULES!!!"

...he lost something called bones, they were broken AND dislocated, along with the teacher sent against the wall REALLY HARD causing the spine to break, paralyzing him.

Duzt had, for a lack of a better word, gone insane.

He developed an angry personality, he became more violent towards everyone except those he trusts (family, friends, his best friend Alphenia, and that's IT) and started to get loose with his actions, doing horrible things and then saying "if i have to be hurt constantly to live on this planet, SOMEONE'S GOTTA PAY TOO"

I'm giving him both my anger and a little bit of canon REDACTED's malice, where he'll do anything to make you specifically pay the right price, so you better use up as little of your money as possible...

Because when he's nearby, you'll be judged and treated accordingly.

He's fucking pissed, he had enough.

Headcanons/notes from the author: Cinna and Asmodeus’ relationship is definitely the rockiest of all their boyfriends just because of how it started out. Also made Cinna anxious about confessing to Simeon and Barbatos later on because of the impression it could make lmao.

Brief Blurb: The ball during the castle retreat in lesson 8, as in Cinna’s timeline.

Cinna’s anxiety instantly heightened when guests from across the Devildom appeared out of thin air. They only half understood Diavolo’s well wishes as they gazed down at their clothes, feeling underdressed. “Yo, Cinna…” They looked to Mammon, who was clearly flustered as he tried to excuse his way into dancing with them.

“Mammon, why not just admit that you want to dance with Cinna?” Satan asked, a smirk spreading across his face.

“You’re such a loser! And a total—!”

“I’d love to dance with Mammon,” Cinna interrupted, clamping their teeth down to avoid lashing out at Leviathan. “He’s my guardian demon, after all.” They watched Mammon’s eyes light up and giggled, holding out their hand to him.

Just as Mammon was about to take it, Lucifer did so instead. “Cinna, come dance with me. Now.”

The enby tensed, mouth refusing to open and eyes wide. “Lucifer, that ain’t fair! I got them first!”

Ignoring Mammon, Lucifer pulled Cinna elsewhere. “Do you know how to dance?” They nodded, still unable to will themself to speak. “Wonderful. Then I don’t have to bother explaining things.”

He assumed the leading position, instantly making Cinna’s skin crawl when he laid one of his hands on their waist. A sadistic smirk spread across his face at their trembling form. The hand he had stolen from Mammon remained held as Cinna unsurely put their spare one on his shoulder. He knew they were uncomfortable with him; it would make threatening them easy.

“In general, there are all sorts of reasons why one might ask someone to dance.” Lucifer lead their steps, watching Cinna’s face as he kept his voice just loud enough for them to hear over the ambience. “For example, they might be interested in them, they might want to touch them,” he watched them visibly cringe at him perhaps having such motivation, “or they might simply be doing it out of politeness.”

Cinna nodded, averting their gaze from his face to anywhere else. They knew he was listing things that were not aligned with his own intentions. “M-Mmhm…”

“Or it could be because they want to have a private conversation.” Lucifer stole a glance sideways to warn Mammon to stay put, then began to dig his fingertips into Cinna’s side when they attempted to squirm away. “Look at me when I speak with you.”

They did so, entire body violently shaking. His face was too close. He was speaking too much like him…

“What is it you are plotting with Asmodeus?”

Cinna felt their blood run cold, head grow loud… What did he think they were doing? What did he know? Why was he so close to their face? Is he going to scream at them?

Lucifer took their silence as a confession, and a dark chuckle escaped his lips. “I respect my brothers' freedom to do as they wish. However, if I ever sense that you've become threat to either Diavolo or us…” he brought his face ever closer, making tears spout from Cinna’s eyes and roll down their cheeks, “… then I will show you absolutely no mercy. Understood?”

Cinna could tell his grip tightening on their hand, causing sharp, but grounding, pain. Still, they attempted to thrash, beginning to hyperventilate when he insisted on keeping them in his hold. “S-Stop…”

“Oi, what the hell are ya doin’?” Mammon butted in, resting a hand on Cinna’s shoulder. “You’re gonna hurt ‘em.”

Lucifer’s eyes went wide when Mammon pried him off of Cinna. He watched his younger brother protectively hold Cinna to his chest and shield him with his wings. Clearly, Mammon had began to take his role as guardian of the human exchange student seriously. “I was merely reminding them of something.”

Not wanting to lose his temper, Mammon inhaled deeply, then released it and glanced at Cinna before shooting a glare at Lucifer. “Whatever. They wanted t’ dance with me, so it’s my turn. Song’s over.” He watched Lucifer leave, then carefully guided Cinna across the ballroom and out a door to the garden. “Cinna…?”

“I-I’m sorry…” they buried their face into his chest. “H-He just… it freaks me out…”

“O-Okay, slow down…” Mammon mumbled, carefully petting their hair. “Jus’ tell me what I can do to help.” Cinna shook their head and hid in him, hyperventilating and sobbing. At a loss, Mammon simply continued to pet them and keep watch for anyone that may attempt to disrupt them. “I… dunno what you were talkin’ about, but Lucifer was seriously in the wrong there, okay? Ya ain’t doin’ anything to be in trouble. I dunno what his problem is.”

Cinna nodded and buried themself deeper into him, or at least attempted to. There wasn’t really anything else their mind wanted but to be comforted. Thoughts were jumbled and out of order, memories from when they were younger mixing into the present… “S-Sorry…”

“Don’t be sorry, Cinna.” Mammon rubbed their shoulders. “Ya just gotta stop hyperventilating, okay? Slow down…”

Cinna attempted to do as he said, forcing their breathing to even out. “Th-Thank you…”

“What’s going on here…?” The two gazed at Solomon, who had wandered into the garden. “I was looking for Cinna, and Asmodeus said you two went out here.”

“Whaddya want, ya shady wizard?”

“Be nice, M-Mammon…” Cinna mumbled, closing their eyes for a moment before straightening up and rubbing their tears away. “He isn’t shady.”

Rolling his eyes, Mammon petted their hair for a moment before letting them go completely. “We’ll dance later. I’m pissed at Lucifer. Stay with Solomon.”

Cinna nodded and inhaled deeply. “Th-Thank you for dealing with me…”

“It ain’t a huge deal.” Mammon felt his face heat up, but quickly left the humans alone.

Slow and cautious, Solomon approached Cinna, as if they were a wounded animal. “I am assuming Lucifer did something.”

“It’s f-fine,” Cinna mumbled, wiping their face and attempting to calm themself down. Well aware of how stubborn the enby could be, Solomon nodded and kept his hands to himself. “F-Fucking Lucifer…”

“You may have pacts with demons, but you still lack the power to command them,” Solomon muttered, bringing his hand to his chin. “I should have began teaching you to do so sooner, it seems.”

Cinna simply made a weak nod. “Maybe…”

“How about this…” Solomon watched Cinna plop onto the ground and sit cross legged. “I can lend you my pact abilities for Asmodeus for six hours.”

“A-Asmodeus?”

Solomon chuckled and sat on a nearby rock. “Would that be a problem?”

“No!” Cinna snapped, then bit their lip. “I just… he and I… I just…”

“Yes?” Solomon raised an eyebrow at them. “Are you referring to why demons complain about his scent being all over you?”

Cinna’s face immediately heated up. “Oh fuck. Oh fuck no.” They gazed at Solomon with horror in their eyes. “You mean… everyone…”

“Everyone knows about Asmodeus’ new bedbug, yes.”

“Fuck.” Cinna rubbed their face and ran their fingers through their hair. “Fine. Give me six hours.”
