So I decided to restart my animal crossing new leaf for the 3ds file completely but I didn't know that Tom Nook would OFFER TO BUY the entire town and let you carry over the money to the new town and it's hysterical because the mayor basically peaces out, cashes in on 30 million bells, changes entire identity, and accidentally becomes the mayor in a new town. There's a fanfic there but I'm too lazy to write it.

people love to call vn protags generic and faceless but genuinely even in games where i don't like them it just never feels true. Like chaos;head is an example where i just don't like takumi but he is not even slightly generic he has something incredibly wrong with him. he lives in a crate that he never leaves except to go have insane delusions. not to even mention the shirous and shikis of the world. ironically the most generic protagonist i can think of in a vn ive read is from. wait for it. doki doki literature club.

AFO targeted the Shimura's in the first place because he wanted to break All Mights spirit so he can take OFA back. Not only would revealing that Hana is the granddaughter of Nana Shimura would be punch to the gut, but to also have her look like her own grandmother? That would make All Might fall to his knees.

Can I be honest though? Also found it weird how in 419 AFO said he skipped over her because she was too old and yet we see the back up orphan children he had in 350 look a lot older than she was and he still considers them to be good candidates so.... 🤷

I think what really intrigues me about the witch class is that it's the only caster class that really matches the worldbuilding and infrastructure and purpose of wizards that I've seen. It is something you are taught, and at least within Umora it is a role - you don't just become a witch, you have a coven and a position and responsibilities, just as wizards must have a drive and a place they were taught. And you could to be fair introduce this in your worldbuilding for other classes; you could make a world with more rigid druid enclaves or organized religion for clerics or warlock factions but the witch class was so clearly built for the purpose of storytelling. It reminds me of the Candela Obscura interview again; while I do love 5e (hell, the witch class is a 5e class) there is something to be said about creating ttrpg mechanics with more specificity and intent related to the exact type of story you wish to tell. It's rather like that post going around that I disagree with; actually, the key to making a compelling relatable character is not generic everyman (that's how you get Bella from Twilight, or no shortage of Marvel protagonists); the key is specificity and intention and then letting people find the element they personally connect to.

Here are the two outfits Simon wears in Blank Slate chapter 3, the hospital gown and his regular outfit + the coat PB lent him. he's got a lot of pink on this chapter lol.

Also I'm not 100% decided on the placement of Simon's scars in the first one, I might do a scar map to reference at some point and there's a few I've decided on (The cut around his right forearm referenced in the fic is from a rainicorn, the bite on his right hand is self inflicted inspired by a post with Simon and the Empress, a lot of the smaller cuts are pre-war from going out camping, etc). I thought I might have gone a bit overboard but he is 1000 years old and survived an apocalyptic war so a lot of scars are to be expected.

i’m saying i don’t understand the desire to be In A Relationship when you aren’t even imagining a someone to be in that relationship with. that feels like it defeats the purpose, like the same desire as Wanting A Child without actually imagining what that child will be like or require. just filling out a checkbox.

thanks to @mysticalsoot and his help, i have somehow managed to create a somewhat decent mood board for wilbur (specifically the blue sweater because my god)

i have more ideas for mood boards but i will get feedback on thsi one first
