James closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. Then, he slowly shook his head, “I’m sorry, Sade…” he said, quietly. “You’re right. I shouldn’t do this. It’s just… My head feels so full… And then people say things to me, even if it’s tiny, and it’s like the final drop, and I can’t take it anymore, and everything just explodes…”

Sadie sighed, “You truly have too much going on in that head of yours, lovely,” she said with a slight smile, “It’s high time you let some of it out…”

He nodded, “Yes… I know…” He then bit his lip, “Okay, Sade, there are actually some things you should know. Maybe we can go for a walk together tomorrow or something, and we can talk?”

Sadie felt a wave of sadness come over her, “Umm, I’m leaving on holiday with Finn tomorrow, remember…? I’m sorry!”

“Oh, yes, that’s right, I forgot that was tomorrow already. Okay, no worries.” James said, shaking his head.

“Well, how about after the show?” Sadie asked, “Does that work?”

James carefully nodded, “Yes. Yes, I can do that.”

Sadie smiled, “Okay, we’ll talk then. Now, can you breathe with me, please? Because you can't go on stage all fired up and overwhelmed, and you know it.”

James smiled as he looked her in the eye, “I already feel calmer looking at you, Sade.”
