i’ve never fallen asleep while reading before.

ASLEEP.#LIKE. full on honk schmoo honk schmoo mimimimi#SLEEP.#GUYS HOW DO I UNDERSTAND#i think i got past a few pages of the ridiculous man's dream#i wanna read crime and punishment#like my friend (who i very much hate because he is so smart and analytical) (read: stocks) said that he was totally fucking flabbergasted#when he read c&p for the first time#like I REMEMBER THAT FEELING. guys i read a lot when i was a kid#i mean like obviously younger than i am now#but i read a lot lot lot#it helped me inmensely but god i read bullshit#i mean not bullshit obv but that reading hasnt helped me all that much in ways other than english#like im good at writing and i think analyzing? i just need to uderstand.#i think#i have the rise and fall of the third reich for history and good god#it is 1k pages long about a topic i know nothing about. i really am starting from zero but i will read that fucking book even if it kills me#same w/ economics and other stuff#like i dont even hate it i just hate the classes because im so fucking lost#like help they are so painful bc how do they know this shit#anyways tracking back i need to read bu to read i need to sleep so that i can understand thoroughly#but all my other subjects.....#anyways if you read all this tell me your favourite holiday baking. i tried asking customers today and they gave me the blandest answers#choc chip cookies forbidden.

so im pretty sure i know how fyodors ability works??? i think he get to play judge jury executioner with anyone he makes contact with. we already know it doesnt work on other ability users, but that combined with him literally holding someones life in their hands fits really well with his god complex. he gets to know the entirety of their lives, all the good deeds and the bad that they've done, and then decide if they live or die. like can you imagine discovering you have this power? you touch someone and get to fully control their fate? with crime and punishment being the dostoyevsky book asagiri is working with too i feel like it fits with the religious and dream symbolism in that. no wonder fyodor feels like hes playing god

My summer reading list, in order.
#I am not going to read crime and punishment this summer#because I have been gifted soooo many cool nonfiction books for my bday I want to read those first#n lord knows I only got 5 chapters into C&P when it was my only book#but I included it bc it's been sitting on my shelf#beckoning#why have you forgotten meeeee it says#n E ways#I got lord of the flies at a little library when I dropped off like a 8 books I no longer wanted or had use for#I hadn't planned to take anything but I was like#I really do need to read more classics#and I was pleasantly surprised at how short I is#so when I finish the book I'm currently reading (Allison bechdels dykes to watch out for)#I'm gonna read it#also not featured is Allison bechdels fun home I read it a few days after I got it in like one sitting LOL#I want to reread it at some point but I want to get through what I have#+ that will give me time to digest#I wanna make a reading list based on all the literary works referenced in Fun Home bc there was so much classic lit I didn't understand the#references too and I makes me want to read them#shirt that says I heart intertextuality#anyways#I'm taking a philosophy class over the summer and working full time#so I'm hoping to at least get through Fuzz#before the fall semester#that's a book a month which is very doable#though I'm sure I can do more if I actually apply myself#studied blur#studyblr#hahaha#books
