Cursed/Half Sea Beast Molly concepts

Based off of the VERY smart and talented @what-is-this-about's designs they shared with me

In order to save scratch from the eldritch nightmare that is the last Chairman/Leviathan, Molly asks Geoff for help and he accidentally lets it slip that sea beasts can curse humans into beasts themselves if mortally wounded. She BEGGED him to do it, she couldn't just stay on shore if the slowly and ominously fading storm and angry foaming waters in the distance were anything to go off of. Well since Geoff wasn't mortally wounded and he obviously wanted Molly to continue having a good life on land, he half cursed her so she only transforms in ocean water. She's still significantly smaller than the other beasts but she's very powerful. You can guess how she killed the last Leviathan if you know anything about blue ringed octopi

Breath. Trees of old born from times long forgotten, would not be here if they had succumb to years spent rotten. Melancholy hangs heavy in the air, arms hang low with little to no care, are they tired of standing tall, do they do it for the good of all. Cold turns warm and back again, life renews and some old choose to remain. Sweet treasure in those hands worn, canary sings happy, a song once forlorn. Flowers grow along the sorrow of your shore, perhaps take in the beauty, there is so much to explore.

Was taking screencaps from the latest episode and I accidentally got one of Crosshair making a...particular expression that in no way matches the actual context of the scene (the last scene just before the end of the episode)...and my terrible goblin self made an edit of it.

Maybe it's destiny

A little modern merthur:

Merlin is out on a blind date Morgues set for him. He's pretty sure it's her idea of a joke because his "date" is a far cry from his type. After his crazy week, he absolutely has no problem telling the guy this and leave the table.

On his way out his eyes catch a blond hottie that IS exactly his type. God he really has a thing for blonds. The blondie doesn't seem like he's enjoying himself. He looks bored to death with the chattering and also blond girl in front of him. The girl casually puts her hand on the hot blondie and Merlin watches as he tenses and sets his jaw, clearly uncomfortable.

Merlin smiles mischievously as a plan formes in his head. He walks to their table and stands by the Blondie's side. "Excuse me sir?"

The hot blondie (god Merlin really needs to know his name) looks up at him and Merlin swallows. He's even more beautiful close up. Merlin thinks he's gonna drown in those gorgeous blues. 'focus Merlin.' He clears his throat. "There's a phone call for you sir."

The blondie looks confused and Merlin is absolutely smitten. He's sooo cute. How is it fair?

"Phone call? For me?" The blondie asks uncertainty and Merlin tries really hard not to shiver at the sound of his voice.

"yes sir. If you would come with me..." Merlin looks pointedly at him and the blondie's eyes go wide. He nods and smiles at his date. "I'll be right back." He gets up before the girl can say anything. And the two of them walk towards the reception desk.

"there's no phone call, right?" The blonde beauty asks and Merlin grins.

"nope"

"Hmm"

"I saved you. A thank you would be nice."

The blondie turns to Merlin and looks him up and down. Then smiles. "You're right . How on earth can I repay you?"

Merlin takes his coat and smirks. "Hmm. Buy me a nice dinner and then we'll see."

The blondie beams at him "of course. It's the least I can do."

They stare at each other with equally stupid smiles on their faces.

"Merlin" Merlin offers his hand. The blondie takes it. "Arthur. Pleasure to meet you Merlin."

Sephiroth likes spiders and could honestly watch them for hours. He sees a lot of beauty in them and what they do.

He'd mostly just bat at it a little before opening a window. He's often holding everyone up on stealth missions to admire some particularly intricate bits of webbing.
