︶꒦꒷WELCOME ONE AND ALL꒷꒦︶
If you happened to stumble onto my page, I'm so happy to have you here! ≽^•⩊•^≼ You can call me Ness or Nessy, whichever you prefer! I'm your local She/They Aroace trying to run a multi-fandom oneshot/headcanon blog for all the fandoms you'll see below and hopefully I can also write some based on asks/requests! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) All I ask is that you look through this before making any asks or requests ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
Tumblr media
But enough of the intro, how about I get right to the point and list some fandoms I'll do(and add onto in the future).
Bugsnax; Played it multiple times(even in VR) and was disappointed how empty the fandom was so I wanna summon other fans to help give it some much deserved love!
Forsaken; Gonna be honest, I never played but I did listen to the old lore a lot and like to read up on news occasionally. I wanna play but my socially anxious ass will not cooperate with strangers around... Even in a game... (Not gonna stop me from participating in the fandom though)
Block Tales; Finally fully played it but @starryessence2 kindly offered me an overview early on so I've got both now lol (Excited for demo 5!)
The Apothecary Diaries; I have no idea where to read the manga for free but I'm watching the anime in dub because I need it in he background to watch while I multi-task but I make sure to see each new dubbed episode as soon as it comes out!
Cat Cafe Manager; I played it too much, I need to ramble-
Little Nightmares(1&2); Love the little sillies and watched plenty playthroughs but I'm too much of a coward to play because I scare easily (╥_╥)
Fnaf; Again, too much of a coward but watched playthroughs(Especially our lord and saviour Markiplier) and love the fandom, y'all were among the first fandoms I got into when I found out what fandoms were and I was met with so many wonderful people.
LMK; Watched the show but I couldn't get ahold of season 4 or 5 so I'm waiting for a friend to help me out and drag me back into it.
Tumblr media
𓆩♡𓆪 What will I always answer/do?
Any/All SFW tropes. Fluff? You got it. Angst? Sure! Enemies to lovers or even the good old "I can fix them" trope? YES PLEASE-
Writing for any character of any fandom I'm in! Even if I have limited info, I'll do my best and hope you can walk away with a smile!
Non-human/humanoid reader headcanons/oneshots. I love, LOVE when I can write about the reader just being a creature or humanoid creature that acts all weird but loveable! (You can also suggest some changed to canon characters to give them creature alterations)
Crossovers/AUs. Love the creativity and it gives me so much more to think about and consider.
Polyamorous relationships. They're fun and besides, there's never enough love~ /silly /nsrs
X Reader ships. You're so silly and valid and I love you for wanting to romance the sillies as much as me sometimes.
𓆩⟡𓆪 What will I never answer/do?
Racism, Homo-/Transphobia, Sexism, etc. If you're not kind to people who literally aren't harming anyone then get off my blog.
Proships, Incest and the alike. You're straight up disgusting if you think I'm letting you get romantical with children unless you want the reader to be a child too(and even then it's gonna have to be innocent love because you're even more disgusting if you wanna see kids being suggestive) and I'm especially not letting you romance a flipping FAMILY MEMBER for crying out loud. (Get therapy)
Romanticization of abuse, self-harm and the alike. I'm willing to write about it but I'm not gonna glorify it or anything. If at all, I'll write it as a backstory bit for angst. (I'm okay with Yanderes but in a more tame context where they might kill for you but not harm you which is not to romanticize it-)
Spam. As much as I like getting to answer stuff, I'm no fan of being spammed. (This only means being spammed with the exact same words, you can ask multiple different things within a short timespan)
Male Reader. There's nothing really wrong with it but I'm just uncomfortable writing in the perspective of a man or AMAB person. (Y'all are great, this is an issue on my part)
Tumblr media
❥ Rules for Smut requests
I'm not as innocent as a lamb but I'm still Aroace and even though I'm an adult, some kinks still make me uncomfortable. I'll simply remove your ask in such a case but please don't pester or ask again. Some kinks I respond more comfortably with and will simply do those instead.
I'll do smut with plot only. It's not a comfort thing but I would much rather show there's trust between characters and proper safety precautions most of the time.
Please don't try to argue on my own rules. I do these for my own comfort and journey and some roads I don't need to be convinced on because I'm a stubborn bitch sometimes lol-
Tumblr media
Wanna see my ocs?
They've all been moved over at @bewitched-askblog A neat little blog where I can post future ocs and yap about their lore to anyone who asks-
Tumblr media
There's also a discord server but please remember I'm only a fan, my headcanons and oneshots will not be 100% in-character and I can only make it as accurate as any other fan would. Thank you for understanding and I hope I can bring you joy with what I can come up with (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

Tales From the Past part 3 - Havard
Here we are again. The demo has about 29 k browser plays, so I should announce the release for some more of this.
So part 3 of the tales of the past is available through KoFi for now. Eventually this will be released as a part of the main demo as well, though I have not even started the transfer to twine. I will read and edit part 3 once I eventually transfer to Twine, I am not sure how well it flows. I had some ideas that I injected in there... We will see :D
Ideally this would be around 30 k browser plays... I am however working hard on C3 of the actual story, and think that C3 should be released first for the demo. Unless someone really objects with some valid reasons.
So for now, this is just through KoFi, and it also needs some proofreading which I will try to do when doing the transfer. But now in Twine my focus is C3. I will be traveling during the summer, so that sort of interferes with my C3 stuff, but it is what it is. In general, I think nearly all the content is there for C3, I am trying to write the ending(s) and having some trouble... Hopefully it will all come together :D But as I said, travel may interfere as I have a desktop computer where I write.
Back to the Tales From the Past : Part 3 is about 13 000 words, and introduces a new character :D It has been very Mara and Havard heavy... which makes some sense considering the setting. Oh, and the sneak peek is not directed at the new character :D
So after part 3, Tales From the Past is about 35 500 words.

I'm actually someone who looks at word counts when it comes to PURCHASING IFs!
So I can explain my thought process!
First of, the "purchasing" is a bit caveat here. I'm stingy, and I look at word count VS price as a factor when buying. If I see a 200k word story at the same price as a 700 word one for example, I will be wary of what it entails.
There's also the fact I always liked longer stories as a rule of thumb. A 13 episodes show? I will watch it if I'm REALLY into the pitch or if I know other seasons are in the making. A 50 episodes show? As long as it seems like my kind of story, I will watch it because I know I'm in for a long adventure and that I'll have time to truly grow attached to the characters. That's cause I know myself, and I'm always left frustrated if a work of fiction is too short.
So when I say I usually "ignore" stories that are less than 100k words it's because chances are pretty low for it to hit the spot since: a) no matter how optimized the code may be, that IS quite short as a wordcount. b) if it isn't very short, it means it has very little branching, and I usually prefer IF with more branching to begin with.
But back at the caveat. This is still because when I pay for something, I don't want to be disappointed. If it's a free story, I won't look at the wordcount because "even if I'm disappointed, I didn't loose anything by playing it". If it's not free, then the pitch has to really catch my eye to buy it. So really, it's a matter of money more than anything else.
Now, there's the fact this is mostly about choicescript based games, and I'm very used to the code of these. So if I'm hesitant, I may code-dive the demo to check the appeareance of the code and know if it's optimized or not. Seeing the way a game is coded gives me a clearer idea of what the word count may equate to and so, to the "true length" of the story.
Now, another caveat is access to the WIP!
When I follow the story update by update, making it episodic, it feels longer, especially if the author answers character asks, posts extra content and stuff. Because that sort of "adds content" to the story. In these instances, even a 70k words story feels (and technically IS) longer, thanks to the extra stuff. But if I just find a completed game on Steam well... I don't have all of that. So usually, if I follow a WIP from start to finish, I actually tend to purchase the game no matter what, even if I'm not planning on replaying it soon. Unless I really disliked it, but as long as it didn't come crashing down at the ending, there is no reason for that if I actually followed it for so long.
That doesn't mean I never purchase shorter IFs, word count wise. But for me to do so, like mentionned above, I have to REALLY love the pitch. It's especially true since I play a LOT of IFs. And I really mean a LOT. Both choicescript and twine based ones. I just have to be selective in one way or another if I don't want to lack time for anything else in my life or spend too much money on it, and word count is a factor like any other. If I know I prefer longer stories as a rule of thumb, then best to give precedence to 500k+ words IF rather than ones around 100k words which are bound to be shorter even if more optimized code wise. At least when money is a factor, of course.
Ultimately, considering I do it myself (and considering my reasons) I can't imagine not doing so, I think being mindful of word count is just something influenced by how each person's brain is wired, and both doing so and not are valid ways of thinking. At the end of the day, I prefer to support an author I know and love on patreon than spending the same money on multiple stories that are too short for what my tastes usually are. I will never actually ignore an IF with an interesting pitch (despite the phrasing I sometimes use), but I will be WAY more careful about purchasing a shorter one.
(sorry for taking so long to post this, it's from nearly five months ago when I was asking people about how game wordcount factors into whether they play/buy!)
That makes a ton of sense, thank you for sharing!
I hadn't actually thought about the fact that most people play WIPs chapter-by-chapter (or in whatever kind of small chunks) over a long period of time, so that may contribute to when someone says a completed game feels "rushed" - it's the same amount of time, but the former is spread over way longer so it'll feel like a longer game.

i had to block a few anons (or maybe it was just the one?) because im getting the prickling sense that their "mc is pathetic" argument is not being done in good faith and they keep sending me stuff trying to insist that mc is a pathetic loser, but i do want to say that you are not a failure just because you haven't achieved world domination by the time you're 25.
g getting famous at like 15? is the radical thing and it's not normal lmao hence why they're called a 'wunderkind' in the demo, it's not the standard! even victoria, after a career of modeling, is just starting out as an actress. Soft Violence aren't even super famous, but people think that Soft Violence being a little more successful than mc's band means they're misfit alley level...they are not.
i think there is a lesson to be learned here and i think it's rooted in ageism and the idea that life is over after you hit 30. it's not! granted, i am guilty of feeling like this because society forces hustle culture on all of us and they act like the younger you are, the more valid your success is, but it doesn't matter what age you reached success, just that you didn't give up :) there's a lot that we don't know at 20 that we do at 30, as well, and a big portion of that is to try and give up and try again.
i don't think mc is a loser. i love mc <3 more than all the other characters.
mc is also a character who has to go through their own story arc, which means ~transformation~ it's basic writing! and that's why MC may not be at the point that people want but...you're judging MC from the prologue and the first chapter. why would they be successful if the whole premise of this IF is...a competition to get famous? that line of logic doesn’t really make sense to me but alas!
that's all. no more talking about this im begging you because my head hurts from this conversation but the anons are insistent lol.

I keep going back and forth, composing a message and deleting it, when considering my controversial take, because it’s corny and I have no hard evidence. I’ve said to to a couple people and then feel silly because of how quickly it’s pushed to the side and denied, but that’s ok because I can have my own thoughts and feelings regarding those two.
I think the reason Now and Then was so important to Paul is because I think it’s something they talked about and maybe worked on, or were going to work on, together. There’s talk that they were going to work together again ‘to see if the magic was still there.’
A producer who worked with John (Jack Douglas, maybe?) mentioned at one point John and Paul did work together in the few weeks prior to John’s death and were supposed to again, but when Paul showed up ‘someone’ told him John wasn’t available, but John was told that Paul couldn’t be bothered to show up.
Then the thing with Carl Perkins singing that song Paul thinking John sent it for him. Linda saying it was the last thing John said to Paul (Carl has said a it happened few weeks before John died/another time a few months/ another time no timeline was given.) Maybe he said it as a kinda ‘wink-wink’ to the song John brought to Paul, maybe Paul was supposed to add to it.
I don’t know, just my controversial take, I guess, that makes me feel warm and hopeful of what could have been, despite what happened.
Hi @willowbending,
(I’m sorry for getting to this so late, I’ve barely been in for three weeks lol.)
You know what, pass me the tin foil because I don’t hate the idea of ‘think of me Now and Then’ being a nudge-nudge wink wink to something!
My questions as to whether it would be to Now and Then as a project specifically is the chances of Yoko picking up that demo to give and the whole maze of whether they were planning to work together. Frankly, the whole thing about them potentially reuniting is so confusing and contradictory that I think everyone is valid for their opinion. In any case, the chances of them doing something together in their natural lifespans would have been highly likely and to be honest, the story is so tragic that the idea of focusing on the good things that might have been is lovely. So honestly in the words of Paul, ‘it’s a nice theory and [you should] have that’.

I don't know where the idea came from that the game has to be balanced for non-starriders. SSO is not a game that is feasible for FTP players in the long term, and that's on purpose. Non-starrider is a demo, nothing more.
SSE does not have to cater to them at all, in fact, SSE is likely already losing money on the fact that they have the lifetime option at all. They're not going to incentivize FTP - and they shouldn't. And I say this as someone who was a codes-only FTP player for half a decade before I bought lifetime.
People call SSE money-hungry all the time, when to me it's clear they're trying to make enough money to keep their game running. Lifetime is a bad deal on their end in the long term, and yet they have kept the option all these years, which I honestly highly respect.
Are there things to criticize SSE about? Yeah, absolutely. But the way they're trying to make money to keep their game running isn't it, it's honestly way less pushed than other games I play, and the game is not PTW when it would be easy to fall into that pitfall if they really were as money-hungry as people claim.
Again, there are valid things to criticize. But I feel like the whole "SSE is money-hungry" (and just a lot of the negative perceptions of SSE as a company in general) thing only serves to muddle the waters in the criticism. It's harder to take the actual valid points seriously when they're written in the same list as "SSE is evil for needing to make money" and "FTP needs to be catered to more".

Eyyy, well look at that. I call Lily somewhere in between being a neoliberal and classic conservative, and she proves me exactly right but not a day later. That was nice of her. Thanks, Lorch.
Because emotions are high right now, I want to very much stress that, yeah-- the American election was between the Dems being their typical shiteating selves and the Republicans reaching their final form as explicit, out-and-out facists. Uh, clearly those weren't two equally valid choices-- even compared to last time Trump won, where he at least put effort into appearing more as a moderate.
But let's be frank here, the nature of the capitalist hellscape the west currently exists in means that more than ever, people are desperate to be thrown a bone when it comes to the economy. And because in the west we also have piss poor econ comprehension and can barely recognize a Pyramid scheme on the small scale, let alone the nationwide one we currently have, people have been conditioned to vote red when they're struggling financially-- despite Republicans routine history of making the economy worse.
In addition to that, devastatingly large amounts of the voting population is too mentally exhausted to actually keep up with politics, if not vote at all. Why Reps win when they do can't be boiled down to a single primary factor-- but they do remarkably better the less people actually go out and vote. That's why Reps put so much time and effort into voter suppression-- and what probably really won Biden the election last time was how accessible voting was made because of covid.
Similar factors at play here in Canada, but, just speaking on the specifics of the American system here in particular.
Anyone with any degree of meaningful knowledge of history knows-- though not an absolute rule-- facist rhetoric tends to get it's big break in the wake of economic hardship and extreme financial inequality. Yes, the Biden administration did a lot to improve the economy. Yes, a lot of the economic hardship was a direct result of the first Trump term-- but there's just not enough economic and political literacy in the west to have that understood.
People tend to focus on the true MAGA voters here-- and though they are a significant portion of Trump's success in the 2024 election, don't get me wrong; the reality is, the swing demo here was likely a lot of people who were tired and frustrated, saw the orange man be big strong tough bullish leader man, and made their choice out of ignorance and ideas popagandized to them from birth about how the political system works. Or just couldn't be fucked to vote at all out of a sense of doom. As someone who wholly believes in democracy I want to steer away from the idea the population is just too dumb to vote responsibly. They're not. But western democracy has been eroded away by decades of upon decades of small obfuscation that adds up over time to a death by a thousand cuts.
Of course though, Lily so wholly believes in the system, is so profoundly fucking ready to make an appeal to the meritocracy of the western Democratic system as it currently is-- nah. Can't be the system is broken. Can't be that we are in need of radical reform.
I know there's some debate there as to whether or not the Dems' passive support for the Palestinian genocide really costed them the election or not. I personally think it did-- but not that they would have nessesarily won by a sweeping success otherwise. Of course, there are a million other factors that likely added up. To some extent (though it's debatable to how much) Kamala is a woman of colour. She was already heavily associated with the Biden administration and already technically in power. That disastrous first debate with Biden probably did a profound amount of damage out of the gate.
But she did ALSO run on an anti-immigrant position (just a more moderate one.) She also didn't do enough to distinguish herself from the Biden administration-- and she might have not have been able to. She changed her stance on fracking. She didn't do enough to outline (even just as a lie) about how she was going to simulate the economy from the bottom-up position. And though her campaign engaged in some of the smack-talk dunking on the Reps' ridiculous wedge issue bullshitting near the beginning, they very stupidly didn't keep up that energy for some absolutely godforsaken reason even though it was what was carrying her momentum at one point more than anything else. Despite myself never really fucking trusting politicians, I actually really liked Waltz. They fucking leashed him almost immediately in an absolutely braindead move.
And once again, here's fucking Lily being Queen Ghoul over here saying Harris was campaigning on a platform of "harm reduction" over a fucking GENOCIDE. Holy shitballs Lily. That's quite the take, EVEN FOR YOU. You could have blamed Biden. You would have been wrong, but. Antisemitism is unfortunately still pretty acceptable in the left, and people generally don't get the difference between Israel's government and its citizens-- or jewish people as a whole. You've been comfortable being antisemitic in the past, your fanbase is already primed for it. I'd prefer you not being the fucking bigot you are at all Lily, but like, at least that would have been your average level of awful. NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR COMPLIANCE WITH GENOCIDE. The fuck is wrong with you!?
Also, there's no way to transition into this but, I gotta point this out: Yes Lily is being her usual profoundly unselfaware self as per fucking usual-- even though I don't think every person who voted republican is inherently a monster, her own fucking beloved brother ABSOLUTELY IS.
We actually agree on that point, Lily. Cameron and people like him need to be shot into the fucking sun.

Startup Idea Validation with ProtoBoost: Test Before You Invest
Tumblr media
In today’s fast-paced startup landscape, having a great idea is just the beginning. The real challenge lies in turning that idea into a viable, scalable business. That’s where startup idea validation becomes critical. Instead of building a product blindly and hoping for market adoption, smart founders are using tools like ProtoBoost to validate their ideas early — saving time, money, and effort.
Why Startup Idea Validation Matters
Many startups fail not because they can’t build a product, but because they build a product nobody wants. Product idea validation or business idea validation help prevent this common and costly mistake.
Idea validation helps you answer key questions:
Is there a real market for my idea?
Will users actually pay for this?
Is my solution better than current alternatives?
Answering these early, using structured methods and feedback, can make or break your startup.
Enter ProtoBoost: Your Idea Validation Co-Pilot
ProtoBoost is an innovative AI-powered prototype generator and validation platform built for early-stage founders. Whether you’re still sketching ideas or already exploring your MVP, ProtoBoost simplifies the validation process by helping you create, test, and iterate smarter.
How ProtoBoost Helps with Startup Idea Validation
1. AI Prototype Generation
ProtoBoost’s standout feature is its AI prototype generator, which transforms your startup concept into a functional interactive prototype — no coding required. Within minutes, you can visualize your idea as a web or mobile interface, complete with flows and interactions. This lets you gather feedback from real users before investing in full development.
2. Target Audience Testing
Once your prototype is ready, ProtoBoost allows you to test it with your ideal users. The platform offers survey tools, A/B testing modules, and user testing features to validate assumptions and gauge interest. You can track metrics like:
User engagement with specific features
Drop-off points in user flow
Willingness to pay (through pre-order or intent collection)
3. Business Idea Validation Tools
Beyond product visuals, ProtoBoost helps with business idea validation. You can create and test landing pages, pricing pages, and value propositions — all optimized for conversion. This helps determine if people are interested enough to sign up, share, or even pay for your product before it’s built.
4. Investor-Ready Insights
ProtoBoost compiles all your testing data into easy-to-read dashboards and reports. This is incredibly useful for pitching to early-stage investors, as it shows real market traction and data-backed decision-making.
ProtoBoost Idea Validation System Demo
Want to see how it works in action? Check out the ProtoBoost Idea Validation System Demo below:

can an LLM write a demo?
ongoing LLM probing efforts: I tried giving them a challenge to "write code for a 4k demo to render an ocean scene".
note, in demoscene parlance, a '4k demo' refers to a demo that fits in 4 kilobytes, not one that renders to a 4k monitor. this is a stupidly difficult high-context problem and I didn't expect to really get perfect output. well, shocker, the output was largely not all that impressive in human terms.
Here's the best result I was able to get after a fairly extended dialogue with DeepSeek R1 70b, a 300kb demo using opengl:
Tumblr media
many wave, very ocean
I'm kind of wondering why I did this at this point, but I think the main reason was that I started to buy a bit of the hype and wanted to reassure myself that LLMs are still a bit daft?
Tumblr media
first I tried two LLMs on lmarena.ai but the site bugged out when I rated them rather than tell me which bots I was talking to.
Both generated what looked like a valid OpenGL program (though I did not attempt to compile either), however, looking closer the output was flawed in various ways. The left one decided to do some limited raytracing in the fragment shader rather than displace a mesh. It claimed to be using Gerstner waves, which would be cool, but a closer look at the output showed it was actually just sines. I'm also not sure quite what it thinks it's doing with the projection - it just seems to take the fragment position as if it were the 3D position.
The second AI does better, generating a plausible-looking vertex and fragment shader file with sine-based vertex displacement. There are some oddities, though, like the fact that it doesn't actually use the generated vertex and fragment shaders as external files, writing them out again as strings in the actual program. Overall, I could believe that if I compiled this it would look like a basic sinusoidal ocean with Phong shading. Old-school but reasonable. Unfortunately I closed the tab so I can't actually test it anymore.
Curious about what might be going on inside these models, I tried asking DeepSeek R1:14b the same challenge. Predictably this smaller model did worse. Its chain of thought prompting gave it a pretty coherent description of how you would write a demo like this, but also revealed some interesting confusions, for example multiple times referring to 'example code' that didn't exist, or quoting things I didn't say ('the user mentioned OpenGL and Vulkan').
Tumblr media
When it came to output, though, it only gave me a list of steps to follow and omitted actual code:
Tumblr media
There is no 'detailed response provided'.
After issuing some clarifications, DeepSeek R1:14b came up with the idea of creating a text-based demo instead, and generated some plausible-looking code in C++. I figured I might actually compile this, but it used a header file conio.h without explanation. Asking it to clarify led to it figuring out this is an old Windows header, replace it with standard library code, and actually spontaneously add a conditional compilation check for a Windows/Linux difference.
I tried compiling the provided code and ran into some missing libraries. A little coaxing gave a lot of blather to tell me 'you need to #include <cmath>'. A little more coaxing got it to tell me what compiler flags would be needed.
Thus I can present to you Deepseek R1:14b's demo:
Tumblr media
Beautiful. Sure to win first place. The 'press q to quit' thing doesn't work. And the compiled binary definitely doesn't fit in 4kb (though it might if I stripped it etc.). But... it tried?
For fairness sake, I'll flood my RAM to try the 70b version as well. To its credit, its 'think' block immediately understands what a '4k demo' is supposed to be. Unfortunately it then goes off the rails and decides to do it in pygame, which is... babe you ain't gonna make a 4k demo in pygame lmao. As the output continued, it forgot that 4k referred to binary size rather than resolution, resolving to test the pygame program which is... not something an LLM can do.
Curiously (and this is something I have noticed a couple of times with DeepSeek), the 'actual' answer after the <think> block basically ignored all that Python stuff and wrote me a basic 'hello triangle' OpenGL program in C. So what was the point of all that thinking? Apparently when it maps from the 'think' LLM path to the 'final output' LLM path, DeepSeek can just... ignore what it was thinking about? The shaders it generated were pretty limited, it basically generates one big triangle over the screen with a scrolling sine wave on it, but I decided to see if it would compile anyway.
I tried asking it for advice on setting up GLFW and GLEW with MinGW and its answer was mostly quite good... but garbled some details (suggesting inconsistent places in where to put the libraries), which luckily I know enough to be able to spot. In the end we get this as the resulting demo:
Tumblr media
I've lowered my expectations a lot by this point, but I will give DeepSeek a lot of credit for helping me get a working MinGW/OpenGL build environment. Given that it's a long time since I've fucked about with C/C++, and there's nothing so nice as cargo in this ecosystem, it was a lot faster than figuring it out from the docs.
The executable was more like 400kb than 4kb, so I thought I'd see if I could coax DeepSeek R1-70b to make it smaller. The chain of thought generated here was a genuinely solid discussion of sizecoding techniques, but the real proof would be whether DeepSeek could apply the ideas it pulled out concretely. In the end it gave me a list of ideas to try, including a couple of compiler flags - with this I shaved off 100kb, but it's still far too large.
(Ironically it suggested using "minimalistic frameworks often found in demoscene communities".)
I think I've spent as much time investigating this as I want to. Overall, DeepSeek R1 70b did a pretty good job of understanding what I wanted and generating relevant output, and tbh I could definitely imagine a LLM being useful if I needed to quickly reference info while writing a demo, but evaluated on the original question of 'can this LLM write a 4k demo depicting an ocean scene', the answer is a pretty emphatic no.
Running this on my computer, this took ages to generate the full output token by token - the full interaction ended up taking a couple of hours. But if I did this from scratch, having to look up docs and everything with zero experience with the APIs, I think it would probably take me about the same time to get a working OpenGL program.
Could the 'full size' models do better? Quite probably, but I ain't spending money on this shit.

half assed intro post yay !!!
heyyy! this is @whimsysys ‘s sideblog dedicated to yaoi and other gay ass happenings. this blog will mostly focus on DMMD, slow damage, and any BL’s we might read or watch in the future … we might also reblog some other insane shit /silly /sx
we’ve only played the demo for DMMD unfortunately, we are broke as FUCK !!! but we love koujaku x aoba very very much as well as noiz x aoba. as for slow damage i know almost nothing about it but i’ve seen CGs and i like the idea of it and towa is hot as fuck so we ball !!! other interests that will likely be posted here are alien stage and otome games, epecially blooming panic... my other fav otome games are delicious date, killer chat!, and that's pretty much it!! I NEED MORE RECCOMMENDATIONS !!! :D
i’ll add tag information as needed, but for now there’s no special tagging system for this blog!
Tumblr media
dni criteria !!!!!!!!!
main blog’s criteria
this blog is strictly 16+ only
fujoshis are on thin ice for comfort reasons, same with himedanshis. if you aren’t overly fetishy about it, im fine with it. i’ve just had very weird experiences with fujos as a gay man /lh
believe being a fudanshi or himejoshi is problematic?? (surely people dont believe this.. right!)
if you dont want to see suggestive content, please feel free to block us. we don’t tag anything explicit unless its very extreme, since that’s the general nature of this blog
if you are against selfcest (further referred to as mirrorshipping) or if it makes you uncomfortable. nothing personal, that's completely valid! but this blog will probably include that sometimes & i enjoy it
basic criteria
NOTE: due to the nature of DMMD and slow damage, this blog will sometimes reblog art that contains blood/gore. this will usually be tagged but we have memory problems and it might slip our mind sometimes. if that would be triggering for you, it might be best to stay away from this page! /lh click images for cred!
