The Obey Me Brothers Reaction to MC Breaking Down Over Schoolwork

(Initial ask contains an ableist slur and so cannot be posted. Please, in future, refrain from using slurs in any asks sent in!! It has since been added to my rules and I will straight up delete asks with slurs in them. Thank you <3)

Lucifer

He realises all too late that things are probably tough. Initially Lucifer is distant, and whilst he notices how tired you look sometimes at RAD, he decides to ignore it - you were probably distressed because you had been pulled into the Devildom out of nowhere, you’d just have to adapt because nothing else could be done. In his mind it was pointless worrying about it.

However, as he begins to pay more and more attention to you, he realises its more than that. You frown in class, your grades jump around and you don’t leave your room regularly, probably too busy focusing on studying. The few times you’ve accepted his offer of help, you seem to be on edge.

He decides one night to check in on you, and he hears a harsh thud from a few paces down the hall. He throws the door open without knocking, convincing himself that he was just worried you might be hurt because they needed you for the exchange programme and it would be a pain replacing you now, months into the whole endeavour.

You whirl around, arm still raised, your grip tight on your textbook. He looks about and sees other books scattered about, the room a mess.

Lucifer makes a low growling noise in the back of his throat, raising a hand to press against his temples before he freezes, finally taking in the look on your face. Your eyes are wide, having been essentially caught by the one person you really, really wouldn’t want to see you right now. You lower your arm slowly as he approaches, taking your face in his hands before you can duck away from him.

His tone and expression are impossible to place as he silently examines you, gloved hands wiping across your cheeks to get rid of any traces of your tears. You don’t have the time to process any of it before he pulls you against his chest, wrapping his arms carefully around your shoulders.

Lucifer is silent, almost eerily so, and he holds you there without moving until you either push him away or until you stop sniffling and drop the book. Even when he does speak again, he’s quiet, deep in thought as he looks around the room and tells you simply to head over to his - he’ll bring you something to eat shortly, get some rest in the meantime. You mumble something about a test, and he waves a hand. He’ll bring the textbook, its fine, go rest.

It takes him a half hour to get to his room, carrying a tray with some tea and snacks. Your textbook is tucked under one arm, and he gently invites you to eat before he starts talking things out. He asks if classes are too difficult, asks if there’s anything in particular you’re struggling with. He makes a lot of offers - Luci is a busy guy, but he can free up a time slot if you want to study with him, or he can get you a tutor, or you can simply text him your concerns and he’ll respond as soon as he’s available. His advice is simple and realistic.

Once you’re done eating and drinking, he opens the textbook and goes over the things that are most likely to be on the test. He gives tips, explains the things that confuse you in a clear and concise manner. He’s a good teacher, and he’s a lot more patient than you’ve seen him before.

Overall, Lucifer is a quiet comfort, but a determined one. He works to make things easier for you in the background, marking out important parts of the textbook so you know what to focus on, and offering a hand whenever you need it. Also, when you get back to your room later, your books are neatly organised on your desk.

Mammon

Mammon randomly pops into your room quite often, making excuses about how he’s absolutely entitled to because he’s in charge of taking care of you. On this particular evening, you have absolutely no warning as per usual and he doesn’t bother knocking, because this boy only has good manners when it benefits him.

He freezes instantly, and he’s over to you in a second before you can throw whatever’s in your hand. His grip is careful but tight on your wrist and he squeezes until you let it go, tossing whatever it was onto your bed without looking and wrapping you up in his arms. You might feel trapped for a second, but he has this fear that you’re Going To Get Hurt and so he just holds onto you until you settle and start sobbing against his chest. (Mammon is panicking too much to think about it, and he’ll definitely apologise after and try not to do it again if he scared you.)

He pulls you over to the bed and sits you down, a hand smoothing through your hair. His grip remains on you at all times, and you can feel his hands shaking when he asks what’s wrong, MC? Did something happen?

Mammon listens carefully, swallowing and smoothing a hand over your hair when you tell him its because the work here is just too damn hard and you can’t do it, you can’t, you can’t remember all the dates for the history or recall the right Latin to say for this one course and its not like it matters anyway because you’re human, why would you need this?

He mumbles back “I know, I know,” and runs his hands down your arms, back, along your hair. Wherever he can to comfort you, wherever makes your breathing slow back to a normal pace and takes away the hiccups left from sobbing. He doesn’t force you to look at him, almost doesn’t want you to as he bites back sniffles and sobs and wipes his face against his sleeve because crying right now won’t fix anything for you.

When you’re both calmer again, he starts rambling about something or other to take your mind off it. Mammon isn’t one to offer any immediate solutions, and rather tries to distract you with stories until you fall asleep and he can lay you down and march straight to Lucifer and demand he talk to Diavolo about this, as fearless as if he were defending Belphie or Levi for accidentally breaking something.

You’re assigned a tutor, and have tutoring sessions with each of the brothers for things they’re good at, with Lucifer and Satan covering any areas the others don’t particularly excel in. Mammon himself helps you with maths, and although he isn’t always the best at explaining it, his presence along is comforting and helps makes working through a little easier, and he’s good for taking your mind away from any stress so that you can focus without worry holding you back.

Leviathan

He had just wanted to get something back that he loaned you, a book or DVD. He can’t remember what it was the second he hears a crash and throws open your door, and finds you in a ball on the floor, the room a mess around you. You don’t even look up as the door opens, and the two of you stay in place for a few moments.

Levi doesn’t know what to do, doesn’t know where to start, but he can do one thing. Quietly and carefully, he tiptoes around your room and starts putting things back where they belong. He tidies your desk, faintly organises whatever notes he finds by subject and piles them up together. He doesn’t touch you, because he’s worried you wouldn’t want him to right now, that he might scare you, and so he just tidies until the room looks a little more normal again.

When you finally look up, he’s sitting a few feet in front of you, headphones on as he stares at his D.D.D., either playing a game or watching a video or scrolling through Wikis as he waits patiently for you to start the conversation or ask for whatever comforts you need. You move over to sit beside him, and he blushes but takes off his headphones and holds an arm out so you can rest against his shoulder.

He lets you watch whatever is on his phone for a beat before asking in a hushed voice if you need anything, if something was wrong, or if someone (maybe him?) upset you. When you tell him it’s about schoolwork, he sighs and pulls you closer without thinking about it. He hands you his D.D.D. and puts his headphones on you, tells you to stay there for a bit and keep watching until he gets back.

Levi returns a few minutes later with Satan in tow, each of them carrying a bag with their own textbooks in them. Levi kneels down to take back his D.D.D. and headphones and to help you up, and tells you you’re all going to start studying together in the library. If you’d be okay with it, he means... he could use the help too, and maybe it wouldn’t feel so bad if you were there. Not for any reason in particular!

Study sessions are added to your schedule after that. Even on days where Satan is off doing something else, Levi will tutor you on whatever he finds easiest - usually history, and oftentimes its history involving the navy. His shyness melts away into confidence as he talks about all the things he’s done, about how he was appointed head thousands of years ago and he thinks he’s yet to let Diavolo down.

After study sessions you go and get a drink together, something like bubble tea or smoothies or whatever, and then play games together to relax and let the info sink in instead of obsessing over it. If you ever start to get stressed out again, Levi gently puts his headphones on you and the two of you wait it out together, and he smiles at you every time you take the headphones off and take a deep breath, ready to keep working. He’s proud.

Satan

Satan is observant enough to notice ahead of time that something is about to happen. You seem horribly stressed and unfocused in your classes one day in particular, and he decides to stop by your room the second he gets home to find out what was wrong.

He knocks and waits for a while, but you don’t answer, and he was sure he heard noise before but now your room is deathly silent. He carefully creaks the door open a bit to call in and see if you’re there, and hears paper crumpling against the door. Deciding to investigate, he opens it a little more and slides in through the gap.

The room is a mess of books and paper and pillows, and you’re at your desk, hands clamped hard over your ears. You’re making some kind of whimpering noise every now and then, and Satan starts to piece things together as he gathers up books in one arm and smooths out paper. He taps you on the back before moving back a pace or two, just in case.

You freeze before turning around to look at him, seeming almost guilty, and he doesn’t really get why you’d feel that way but he holds up your books and clears his throat. “Do you want some help?”

Satan is more practical than emotional and, whilst he isn’t sure what kind of comfort he can offer you right now, he knows he can help with the work, help make it easier. He pulls a chair over beside you, motioning for you to scoot over, and leans against you as he opens the first book and asks where you were struggling. He keeps a constant connection between the two of you, either has his leg against yours or his entire side against you so that you know he’s there, so that you’re permanently aware of his presence.

He doesn’t look at you too often, not when you can see him do it. Even then, there’s no judgement in his gaze, just his brows furrowing slightly out of concern until your breathing in alright and you start to smile in little bursts again. He smiles then as well, scribbling down some notes for you.

After that, Satan regularly pulls you aside after class and asks if you want to come out with him to a cafe or to the library, or he’ll call you to his room in the house and ask if you’ll let him teach you this set of notes so that he can remember it better. He’s subtle, never really brings up what happened and never asks you about it because he’s already got it all figured out in his mind. Instead, he just works on moving on from it and making sure it doesn’t happen again, and if it does, he’ll be ready to be there for you again.

Asmodeus

Asmo had decided to visit your room because you weren’t responding to his messages asking if you wanted to go out shopping with him. Majolish had new season wear and he absolutely needed to go get first pickings at it, and he wanted you there by his side.

He knocks but opens your door immediately after anyway, not giving you time to do much more than turn to face the door, bringing the pillow you were about to throw up over your face instead so he can’t read too much of your expression. He sees the tears, anyway, and without thinking walks over to you and holds your face in his hands.

His voice is laced with concern as he asks what’s wrong, and he immediately looks like he’s going to cry as well, but he just did his makeup and he’s not going to risk ruining it right now. Instead he moves over to the bed and pulls you down onto his lap, holding you tight against his chest. He keeps asking, every few moments, if something was wrong and if there’s anything he can do, and his eyes dart around the room to try to piece it all together. Your books were still out on your desk, pillows a mess around the room, and you... You were curled up against him, shaking and choking down sobs.

Asmo pouts and holds you in silence until you calm down and start talking to him, start telling him what was wrong, what subject you’d been struggling with over the past hour and you were still stuck on the same damn page and not making any progress and the test was only a few days away and everyone was expecting so much from you, you who never even asked to be here. Obviously you weren’t good enough for this, obviously they should’ve chosen someone better-

Asmo cuts you off there, pushes against your shoulders until he can see your expression and cup your face in his hands. He’s not having you put yourself down because you’re struggling with work that the centuries-old demons also had a hard time with, not on his watch, and he tells you just as much. When he’s done half-scolding you, his expression softens and he offers whatever help he can. He’s sure he can rope Satan or Lucifer into helping out, and if not he can charm the examiners into giving you a better score... he keeps going until some of his silly advice gets you to snort out a little laugh, and then he relaxes.

He lays back and pulls you down with him, sighing as he instructs you to take a nap, and then after you two can go out shopping and you’ll figure everything out as you strip Majolish bare of its new wonderful outfits. And Asmo keeps to his word. As you’re trying things on he talks through the stall walls, proposing different ideas to you whilst simultaneously boosting your confidence as he compliments you and finds the perfect outfits for you.

Asmo makes it clear that if ever you should need a distraction, just give him a call - there’s always something better to do than reading over textbooks, and he’ll throw in study sessions so long as you’re there to spend time with him. Anything to make you feel better.

Beelzebub

Beel was in the kitchen, clearing out the fridge as usual when he heard a muffled thud against the wall. He pauses, turning to look in that direction, and realises that its the wall attached to your room.

He’s outside your door in no time, and taps nervously against it with his fingertips before opening the door slightly and calling in to ask if you were okay, and could he come in please? He hesitates when you don’t respond, but decides to head in anyway, because you might be hurt and any embarrassments he’s sure the two of you could live with, but with an injury there was no guarantee, not for a human.

There are books everywhere, the room as messy as he’s ever seen it, and you’re... nowhere to be seen. Not until he hears a sniffle and rounds the corner into the dining room section, and finds you curled up in a ball against the wall, face against your knees. He’s quick to back away, worried that he’ll upset you more, but then Beel kneels down a few paces in front of you and leans forward to tap your arm.

You flinch and look up immediately, pulling your knees closer to your chest until you realise its him, and then you just look guilty. Beel’s chest hurts, he feels horrible - what happened to make you feel like this? Could he help, or should he go get someone else? He asks just as much, voice somewhat broken over the questions as he hesitates. He doesn’t get this anxious often, but right now you remind him of Belphie a few thousand years ago, and he doesn’t know what to do with that.

He pushes the thought away and slides closer, sitting against the wall beside you. His presence might not help, and he waits for you to tell him to leave, but after a while you press against his side and he opens his arms to you and holds you as tight as he can until you feel a little bit okay again. And then he asks, again, what’s wrong, and he waits for you to tell him, shaking but as patient as can be. You open up to him slowly, and he listens.

Beel doesn’t know how to help, doesn’t think he’d be a good tutor for you, doesn’t know how to relieve the stress really. But, he promises his arms are always there if you want a warm hug, and... he is sure that there is some resolution to be found, but for now you should just do your best and that’s all anyone could expect from you, and if anyone doesn’t like that then... he’ll be your bodyguard, ready to defend you at any moment. He was good at that, sometimes.

Beel smiles at you and gives you the warmest smile he can manage before tucking your head back against his shoulder or chest. He tells you to rest for a little while, and then you can try working again later. Whilst you’re asleep, he pulls out his D.D.D. and messages Belphie asking for advice, and then Lucifer. By the time you wake up, he’s got a few tips from the brothers and a tutoring timetable is being organised by Lucifer for the two of you, so that you wouldn’t be alone.

Belphegor

Belphie doesn’t know why he was on his way to your room, and he stops thinking about it the second he throws the door open and sees you crying. He’s too tired to put the pieces together as he looks around, too tired to really take in the room, but he’s on high alert when he runs over and wraps you in his arms, looking around properly to see if anyone was there, if anyone had hurt you.

You can hear him growling in the back of his throat until he slowly relaxes, shoulders lowering as he takes in how messy your room is. It must’ve been you, he decides, holding you closer to him. A demon would’ve left this place in a horrible state. But nothing was torn, just scattered around.

He’s more awake when he pulls you over to the bed and immediately lays down with you on his chest. He doesn’t get what’s wrong yet, but he’ll figure it out. He wills his powers, his sin’s influence, over you until you’re drowsy and fall asleep, still sniffling occasionally, and then he starts to work things out.

By the time you wake up, Belphie apologises for how disorientated you might feel. He probably should’ve talked to you first before making you fall asleep. He smiles sheepishly at you, but the concern in his eyes is only thinly veiled, and you can see through to it.

“So, school, huh?” he asks, lopsided smile almost teasing. He wants to make you smile, or laugh if he’s lucky. Instead you make a frustrated noise and press your face into his chest again, and he pats your head to comfort you. You hear him swallow before he pushes against your shoulders to get you to look at him again.

He’s not hiding so much when he asks what’s wrong, and he listens as you stumble through an explanation before sighing and asking if you want to take another nap. He grins when you glare at him, before adjusting you both so you’re sitting up again. “Let’s get to work, then. What subject is first?”

Belphie isn’t the best at a lot of the work, and he’s missed a lot of classes, but he’s a decent help and he keeps your stress down by cracking jokes and patting your head when you do well. He’s a comforting presence, and if you get overwhelmed again he leans his elbows against the desk, head in hands, and suggests you take another nap with him because he could really use one right now. He laughs when you swat at him and tell him to focus, and then looks at you and tells you that you can come to him if you need help, anytime. Don’t wake him up if he’s deep asleep, though - get Mammon or someone stupid to do that, he jokes, just in case he lashes out.

In future, Belphie will tap on your door when he knows you’re studying and, although he often falls asleep at your desk or just immediately heads over to your bed to nap, he gives off a comforting aura that makes the work a bit bearable for longer.

Diabolik lovers Chaos Lineage: Shu Sakamaki (Story 12)

In terms of the gameplay: The black choices lead up to a bad ending, the white choices lead up to a good ending. Please no reposting onto other sites, ask me before translating this into another language too!

Place: Scarlet mansion — Living room

Yui: Why are you and Ayato-kun attacking us so abruptly again… ?

Kanato: Such a thing is not worth worrying about. We will not repeat to make the same mistake as we did previously.

Ayato: This time I‘ll make sure to find a way to make Eve mine.

*they start running*

Yui: (They are directly running towards us now… !)

Yuma: All their brains helped them for, was just to force their way through the window.

Ayato: Hah? Any type of work is fine as long as we‘re taking her with us this time.

Besides, other than last time it seems as if it‘s only you two facing us in the fight.

Reiji: Oh my, I do not recall inviting the two of you to our tea party. However, it would be a shame if I would not offer you anything for trying to attend.

Kanato: It‘s truly impertinent to arrange a tea party without even having any sweets to enjoy while drinking. I‘ll make sure to have you repent that choice.

Place: Scarlet mansion — Hallway

Yuma: Haa, Haa… as long as we make it straight through the hallway, we‘ll reach the basement!

Once we got there, our enemies won‘t be able to invade so simply anymore!

Yui: (I‘m thinking about Reiji-san, Ayato and Kanato-kun… they must be fighting each other once again after all)

Yuma: Don‘t make such a face. We‘re talking about Reiji, no need to worry about him. He‘s still the eldest son of this family, right?

Subaru: Heh… bring it on. I‘ll take the opportunity to return what you‘ve done to me the other day then.

Laito: Eve will become mine at the end of this.

Ayato: I was the first one to find Eve in this mansion, so it‘s obvious she‘s gonna be mine. I‘ll easily win her over you guys.

Laito: Even though you say that, weren‘t we the first ones to hide in the mansion before you came here? Doesn‘t that make us the winners?

Kanato: Ahh come on, shut up, shut up! It doesn‘t matter who was first, let‘s just hurry up and catch her.

Otherwise I‘ll be missing out on today‘s treatment again, and I‘ll not allow such oppression to happen.

Subaru: Hah!? Why are you talking about between-meal snacks all of the sudden now!?

Ayato: That‘s why it would be an easy settlement if you‘d simply approve the fact that I‘ve been the first one to see her after all.

Yui: (W-What do we do… ? Ayato-kun and the others are starting a whole new dispute by themselves…)

Yuma: W-What the hell‘s going on… ? Should we take this chance as long as we can to get away?

Yui: S-Shouldn‘t we wait to see how this might turn out? After all, everyone seems to be a little confused right now!

Ayato: Anyway, I‘ve got hold of this information someone sent, so it‘s obvious I‘d follow it.

This evening, due to Reiji‘s stubbornness, this mansion will be short of hands. Therefore, this could be the perfect chance to aim for Eve.

Yui: (A letter!? Who would do that to us…)

Ayato: With this, it was incredibly easy for me to find a method to break in!

Subaru: ...Hey, I received the same kind of letter as you did.

Ayato: Hah? Why would anyone sent the same thing to you guys too!?

Subaru: How should I know this bullshit!?

Yui: Does that mean both of your families received the same letter… ?

Kanato: This talk has become totally insignificant now. All I want is to obtain Eve and afterwards return back to our mansion.

Ayato: If I‘m thinking it over, you‘re right. We won‘t let you have her either way!

Laito: Of course, I didn‘t plan on handing her over.

Yui: (Now everyone is aiming for me all at once… !)

Hey!

I met my sp almost 2 years ago (2019) and since then i fell in love with him. we went on some dates tho, he rejected me later. at that time i didn't know about the law so i reacted a lot to the 3D and manifested some 3rd parties and arguments with him. he blocked me tho and we went no contact. i found out about loa and it confused me a lot cause everyone said smth different. also i was focused on manifesting a text message rather than living in the end. altough i always tried to shift my focus, i lived in a lot of anxiety. also his social media acc is a trigger point and i try to avoid it for my best.

so he texted me in may 2020 and i was shaking so much (what a dumbass) and we messaged all night, it was some nasty sh*t. at the end of the chat he said that it was all a joke and that it was all his buddy. i felt so hurt and was so shaken up by the fact, that he played me like that? also really naive of me to let it go so far. so i went no contact and texted him one week later with alot anxiety. as u guess, he was so mean and told me some hurtful things. so i let him. i didn't know about neville back then. i went no contact, til he texted me in dec 2020, it was bc i saw his story) he apologized and he was really kind to me. we messaged again at night, but it was some fwb thing again. he told me he wanted to meet up but then he ghosted me. yea.. i texted him and he said he writes with another girl. and i was like "???" i told him good luck and went no contact.. he then unadded me a month later in jan 2021 which threw me away from my mental diet and so on.

What i am trying to say is that i am really disappointed that i can't seem to reach a point where he sees me more than a chick with a body. i wanted him to be interested in me, to show me love. to open up to me, a relationship! i tried all things, methods, meditations, sats. i am always feeling like i am not doing enough , i am searching for evidence i trigger myself with his socialmedia or some things that happened.

i dont know what went wrong. one thing that bothers me also is that he makes music and wants to gain fame which means that girls have his attention or he thinks he is something better. i also have a feeling of i can't reach him cause i feel like i am not that good for him. he is the kind of guy who had a hard life which messed him up.

also i am feeling nostalgic as soon as i am going somewhere. it's a feeling of " i rather be here with him than alone or with anybody else" time is also a factor which messes with my mind. i wanted to move away and idk how that will mess with my manifestation and his music career is also a thing which makes me anxious.

even now i am trying my best, but it seems like everyday is the same day. i wonder if our relationship will even happen..

i am not living in the old story, i just wanted to let it all out and u seem like a person who would get this. i hope u can give me some tips. i don't wanna sound dumb but yea my story is a bit messy. thank u for reading it, i appreciate ur time. u are my last hope!

Thanks for feeling free to share all of this. Sometimes it really does help just to get all this out, so you can continue moving forward freely.

The truth is, I can see where you went wrong clearly. In all honesty, your self concept has been neglected. And remember, when speaking of self concept it is much deeper than self esteem, but of course, why wouldn’t you want a high self esteem too? Anyway, you have put all of your effort into him. Every technique you did was for him, everything you have done has been entirely for him. And yet, the gag is, you are the one who has to change. He cannot possibly change without you having changed first. Because this is your reality and that’s just how the law works.

So, for example, all those times you took anything he’s willing to give you. You listed everything you wanted... but you quickly settled for less. What does that say about your self concept? It has nothing to do with him, although I know we do like to feel comfortable pointing the finger. When it comes to sp manifestations though, I will be completely honest in this way. There’s a big responsibility we have to take that may feel uncomfortable to do, since we are used to living in a world where people hurt us and we feel sad and blame them. We expect them to do something to make us feel better or we cut them off. Though, there is no one to blame here. There’s only full responsibility to take. There’s just you who will need to choose whether you are worth taking the responsibility of changing your life.

So all that being said, here’s some tips, based off what you said. Firstly, I would fully suggest you take a step back and focus on yourself. It’ll be scary, for sure. It’ll be uncomfortable, for sure. Especially because you spent so much time on him. But you have to be honest with yourself. Has that time paid off? The truth is, you have nothing to lose. Either things will stay the same or you will finally experience all you ever wanted to. But you must decide you are worth the risk of leaving those comforts behind.

So, as you focus on yourself you need to be thinking about how you see yourself in relation to the world, first. Are you worth it? Are you able to have anything you want? Are you limited or limitless? Do you see yourself as creator of your reality or a victim to your reality? Do what you need to do to begin answering these questions. You want to move into a state where you are able to answer positively to each of these questions. You do that through persistent practice. Through reminding yourself of who you truly are and how you can have anything you want. How you are worth all of the effort. How your desires are yours already, so you truly have nothing to worry about it. Remember, you do all this for you. Not for anyone or anything else.

As you get comfortable with your self concept and who you truly are as creator of your reality, you could allow yourself to start thinking of your sp again. Not as the center of your world, because you are already the center of the world. There is no one to change but self. But you can begin to lift him up in your mind, as you have lifted yourself up. You wrote exactly how you feel he is, and the truth is, if you continue seeing him like that he has no choice but to play that role. So, choose a new story. How is he really? He is successful in his music career and so what? He is so lucky to have you by his side. All those options you mentioned? They never meant anything, because you are the only one he wants. He doesn’t see anyone other than you. You are first best, you are the only best. He treats you like the God you already are. Because you have been God this entire time, and focusing on your self concept as the first step will help you to accept all these wonderful things about your sp.

I understand your feeling, of feeling nostalgic and just wanting to be with your sp. Let those feelings come up, don’t feel the need to run from them. They’re so valid. People in relationships still miss their person when they’re apart, no? It’s not a big deal. In fact, it’s important not to run from those feelings. Cry it out, throw a fit if you so feel the need to do so. Then brush yourself off and get back into your God energy. Because it’s always waiting for you, at all moments. The unconditional love that your Godself is, is always welcoming you in. You just have to remember to choose to allow yourself to feel it. Time seems so scary in the outer world, but the hard fact is you can be worried about time all day and it’s not going to change anything. So, benefit yourself and actively work on letting it go. Accept it’s not even real, no matter how much your ego will want to hold onto believing it is. Time isn’t running out, everything is happening perfectly Your relationship with your sp is yours and everything has it’s own appointed hour. All you have to do is accept it and allow yourself to enjoy the journey, or even dislike the journey some days if that’s what you’re feeling like. Stop judging everything and allow it to be instead.

Bordertown Prodigal - also based on a gu long novel. Zhu yilong is very hot in black and the MAIN character so theoretically more screen time, I hear he suffers pretty in a lot of this show??

Granting You A Dreamlike Life - bizarre as an entire concept, I already saw 1/3 and heard the angst and action kicks up right Past where I stopped, curious how tf this show will go. It did have a fun frenemies thing goin on.

To Dear Myself - I know I will never finish this show cause it’s too miserably sad BUT I know one sad married girl is gonna get a divorce so thank goodness I know one main character is getting through the show happier than it started ToT. Despite all the angst: zhu yilong is unbearably hot in this, like ridiculously. However also every time he’s on screen u wanna cry so. It sure is Something. Also all the actors are phenomenal it’s just... they sure are trapped in an angsty af story.

The Lost Tomb Reboot - positives it’s dmbj, good acting leads, good genre, already know I like it uvu. Downside - I still have not forgiven the shows slow pacing for some several episode chunks, or that Xiaoge once hes gone will remain gone for a while :c

Also I cannot wait for The Rebel which should be coming out this summer? Because he’ll be in another action again and that is my fave genre ;-;

Oh also: Guardian. - pros everything, except I’m reading the book rn and idk maybe I’d confuse details? Downside: I know it ends :c

Okay !! So mind yall, this is for my story and my interpretation of Loghain and his character ♥ if you have a different interpretation of his character that’s cool !! :”) and if yours is similar to mine then great !! let’s cry together alkdfkfg

World Falls Away: Main story Loghain! It’s about his struggle with trying to steer Ferelden in the “right” direction with all the hard decisions that he’s making that he keeps trying to justify that he’s making to save Ferelden. It’s also lowkey talking about how sad and lonely he is now that everyone he loves is gone. The part where it’s like “I don’t need friends when I have foes like you” is @ the Wardens and the “and I am just the same as you” is kind of @ Howe and how he’s no better right now than the enemies he thinks he’s trying to prevent.

Cold: A @ the people he loves in his life and kind of about his character change? And I say character change because I feel like if Maric, Rowan, Celia, etc. were in his life during Origins he wouldn’t make the decisions he did. I think after everyone died he low key panicked because Ferelden was in trouble again and he worked so hard with Maric and Rowan to save it and now it might crumble because of Cailan and he just CANNOT let that happen so he does whatever it takes to save Ferelden.

Hate Me: About Loghain’s regrets! Another song I picture is an @ Maric, Rowan, Celia, Anora, etc. everyone in his life that has like – helped him grow? But at the same time, he felt like he disappointed so he no longer deserves their love and respect.

Savin’ Me: Redemption! It’s after you’ve recruited him in to the Grey Wardens where’ he’s pondering whether or not he can atone for his actions. It’s like an @ the Warden to help him go through this redemption arc and like the main part is like “Say it if it’s worth saving me.”

One Last Breath: Another redemption song! I like to think of this as another more so he’s leaning on the Warden ( -cough- Ailonwy -cough-) for atonement and development song. And this is also more so on when they’re closer and he considers them a friend!

Bent: This is where we veer away from like – canon Loghain to my interpretation of Loghain and more specifically my story because this is a playlist for Loghain in my story! So this is pre-relationship with Ailonwy and it’s kinda like he’s on the verge of having feelings for her but at the same time he’s just so broken and sad that he’s still trying to put himself back together before anything.

If You Could Only See: REALIZATION AILONWY LOVES HIM! But he doesn’t act on it and it’s where he starts to push her away because fuck that he cannot deal with emotions, he’s 3x older than her, he doesn’t deserve her, she deserves someone who hasn’t done so much wrong and who’s by her age and who isn’t like sad and broken.

Let Me Go: @AILONWY !!! ;A; So this is him resigning himself that he and her can’t be and she needs to stop loving him – immediately. She’s making everything more complicated than it needs to be.

Better Than Me: WHEN AILONWY GETS W NATHANIEL !!! LISTEN !!! alkdjfk so after Ailonwy confesses to Loghain that she loves him he rejects her immediately. However, before that they were close and had this like – friends w benefits kind of relationship because that’s fine !! You don’t have to love someone to have sex with them and he sees that Ailonwy loves him but he’s like F that !! And this is about that and missing that relationship they had before she ends up with Nathaniel.

Surrender: This is @Ailonwy and while she’s dating Nathaniel. It’s like realization that he does love her back (LISTEN !! LEAVE ME ALONE ;A; ) and he’s like shit and he wishes they could be but at the same like -insert all of Loghain’s issues he believes that will make their relationship not work –

Exit Wounds: THIS IS PURE SELF-INDULGENCE TBH ??? I JUST LOVE THIS SONG SO FUCKING MUCH ??? But anyways alksdfjkf my justification is like Loghain pining for Ailonwy while she’s with Nathaniel. That’s it alkdfjfk listen everyone needs to listen to this song and sob for 5 hours straight at least once in their life

Into The Ocean: Healing! About how Loghain is like trying to atone and become better and things are hard honestly, but he’s making progress however, at the same he also feels kind of stuck and also the occasional thought like I hope I’m making Maric, Rowan, Celia, proud now (LISTEN !! HE…HAS LOVED SO MUCH IN HIS LIFE LAKDJF)

It’s Not Over: Okay so Loghain and Ailonwy don’t get together until like – 7 years after Origins alkdflkf and it’s only when like she’s dying that he’s like fuck okay. Because when she’s dying he realizes that like – the people he loved in his life that he never got a chance with (MARIC & ROWAN) because he always put duty and obligation first and that was the same thing he was doing with Ailonwy and it’s kinda like – I gotta tell her if she makes it out of it because like this is your second chance to just be happy for once ?? And not listen to your head first.

my fave drarry fics of all time, part one

so, after discovering i’ve officially been reading drarry fanfic for 4 years now, i decided to show my (quite big) list of favorite drarry fics. there are 46 in total, but i’ve listed 10 down below. the first three are my absolute favorites but the rest are equally as good

most of my notes are fresh from when i wrote them post-reading. i’ve changed some, seeming less like a crazy unstable bitch, but fuck these were all emotional as fuck. enjoy

ps: i dont really know how to tag people i dont follow. i cant try and tag the authors later. soz!!

pps: most of these i read when i was really into a bottom!draco phase, so most of them contain that, some are switch tho (as it should be, yikes past me)

1. Everything That Happen is From Now On / ~43K

After surviving a brutal assault, Draco tries to navigate the tumultuous waters of his mind, and embrace a bit of love and trust in his life. After all, the smallest steps forward can begin to heal the most fractured of souls

okay so before i get in to how beautiful this story is, i wanna say that it does touch on rape quite explicitly. i cried like an idiot reading the entire thing, because draco’s pain is navigated in the most beautiful and realistic way. it touches on a subject very risky for me, very personal, and i still can’t think of a better drarry story. draco’s very draco about it all, and harry is very harry about it all. it’s just perfect, and messy, and tender, and sad. i’ve reread it more than any other fic, and it doesn’t disappoint.

2. Pocket Full of Starlight / ~46K

When Scorpius Malfoy and Jamie Potter meet at Quidditch camp, they take an instant dislike to each other. Then they discover their lives are more connected than they could possibly imagine.

ah yes. the magic of kid fics. the TASTE

parent trap au. i read this one recently, like 3 months back, and absolutely fell in love with everything about it, partially because the parent trap is legit one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. its just. the essence, the IDEA, is soooo mf beautiful. i cant get enough of reading when harry or draco finally meet the other twin, or how they cant stop loving each other even after 11 years. my heart clenched throughout the whole thing.

3. Temptations on the Warfront / ~180K

Draco Malfoy is forced into hiding with the Golden Trio and dragged into their search for horcruxes. What ensues is a journey of redemption, unexpected friendships and an unwanted, turbulent romance with Harry Potter. Warnings for swearing, sexual content, and dark themes.

this was the first drarry fic ive ever read, and before this mf i HATEDDD this pairing. so you can imagine how much it took to convince me otherwise, bc i was 100% scorbus before this.

to be fair, horcrux hunting with draco involved is, possibly, my favorite trope ever. its unique. theres tension, both sexual and life threatening. in some ways it romanticizes the war, but fuck it it aint a real war.

slowest of burns. amazing. life changing. long as hell. nothing else to be said except read it right now i demand it.

4. Clouding the Senses / ~58K

As everyone returns to Hogwarts for a final eighth year, some people are coping better with the aftermath of the war than others. After encountering a very drunk Draco Malfoy one night, Harry realises that maybe those that lost loved ones aren’t the only ones trying to escape the war. Blaise Zabini seems to think Harry can help Malfoy, that the Slytherin might actually listen to him. Harry is not so sure. Dependence is a tricky thing, and one addiction can quickly shift to another.

everyone that reads drarry loves 8th year fics, but this ones just kinda different from all those normal (yet entertaining) ones. draco’s an alcoholic in this, and one night harry tries to help him and whoops, one thing leads to the other and they start having casual sex. its really, really amazing how both draco and harry navigate the addiction, i really cant say it has any flaws.

i know the author got a lot of hate on their fics and thats why they took them down, but they’re truly one of the best drarry authors out there. i’ve reread this a couple of times, and the tenderness, the love and confusion is all very on character. a+

5. Restraint / ~153K

Someone casts the Imperius curse on Draco Malfoy, and whatever the instructions may be, Harry finds himself an unwilling target. The encounter leaves him torn between pleasure and revulsion. As they fight in the aftermath, a tense game begins. Harry fights to convince Malfoy, and himself, that he was not affected by that initial encounter, or any of those following it.

Faced with a series of escalating encounters, Harry must come to terms with desiring things he never thought he could, things he wishes he didn’t respond to. They each use signs of arousal as weapons against each other in a mad struggle to finally shame the other into backing down for good.

But it’s only after the game is over that Harry starts to understand.

this is by the same author of clouding the senses, and i read this just this week. at first, it’s shocking, because it plays around with consent in a very unsettling way. when communication comes in, and its starts getting healthier, you can really understand where the author found the idea of playing with consent. it is, in my opinion, 100% characteristic of how they would behave post-war, with that grief and confusion. it’s also dom/sub in some parts, and that’s mf hot.

it also has my favorite tropes in it, but it’s a spoiler to say which one. i’ll probably mention the trope in the list along with a bunch others, but when u finish reading you’ll know which one ;)

6. Humbug / ~30K

Draco has been taking his casual relationship with Harry for granted. Visits from four key ghosts the night before Christmas just might shake up his priorities in life.

(felt like it was valid to just paste what i wrote in my notes app after reading this)

(FUCKKKKKK HOW TO EVEN START?!!!?? just a fucking bonus, draco is THE best bottom o ever exist i love my bottom son so much. this story isnt only amazing it’s excruciatingly painful to read, harry and draco have been sleeping together but harry is completely in love with him. draco doesnt see how much harry cares for him or how much hes hurting harry by treating their fling like its just that, a FLING. with that, draco is haunted by three ghosts. one of the past, the present and the future, AND THEY SET THAT IDIOT STRAIGHTTTT 1800000/10. the gays DO KEEP MF WINNING!!!

7. in your arms, rests my world / ~24K

Harry presses his mouth to Malfoy's forehead; he wants to tell him that he’ll never leave, that he wouldn’t dream of it.

“You make me feel safe, Potter” Malfoy whispers. “You keep me safe.”

the friends with benefits trope doesnt ever disappoint, top 5 tropes fr, especially if its also 8th year. harry and draco get into their little thing, but of course nothing ever is simple between them. by the preview, you can clearly see how much draco likes harry (also another 10/10 trope, the ‘i’ve been in love with harry potter since i was 11′ one). my only tiny issue with this is that harry fucks it up just a tad, but it of course adds up to the drama of it all, which i absolutely love.

noting it also touches on non-con/rape and, and all in all, is extremely angsty. one i was tense from beginning to end. but i am gonna say it ends amazingly and v happily.

8. Playing the Hero / ~29K

Nobody kissed me like Harry did. He kissed like he flew; he kissed like he duelled - with his whole being, not caring about anything else. I had never felt as vulnerable as I did when he kissed me, seizing all and any control I had over myself. But when Harry kissed me, I felt free...

so the thing about angst is that it ignites that mf feeling side u that even tho it hurts you cannot get enough of. this fic was EVERYTHINGGG. it made cry and laugh and smile. also another trope i absolutely adore is them breaking up and not being 100% ok with that, bc ding ding!! YALL STILL LOVE EACH OTHER!!

i cant describe how i felt, honestly. i would just paste my notes (i wont bc spoilers) but it looks like i went thru sum shit. deadass

9. fine i’ll hold my breath / till i forget it’s complicated / ~ 15K with the two parts

Harry and Draco become friends with benefits, and Harry thinks it's more complicated than it actually is.

u know, fluff is a drug. i dont know if its beucase 90% of drarry fics are about angsty get-togethers, but i had butterflies in my stomach when i read this. its adorable. draco is so clearly in love, he jusT SMILES A LOT I CANTTT.

its cute. i love it to death. have some fluff before starting your day.

10. Un Noël très parisien / ~14K

When Draco crossed paths with Auror Potter at a political function in Paris, he was not expecting their former animosity to change into something rather more intriguing. But he could be certain their casual flirtation would not last more than the night, couldn't he?

163: “i’m sick of being USELESS.”

“First day back to class. First day, and we already have an essay due,” you scowl, plopping down next to your friend Ginny Weasley. “It’s bollocks, that’s what it is. I have far too much to do.”

Ginny snorts, reaching across you to grab a roll. “Like what, invent your own spells?” She pauses. “Nevermind. I forgot you actually do that.”

“Do what?” Harry asks, sitting on Ginny’s other side. He smiles at you, bidding you a brief hello.

“She invents her own spells.”

“That’s very interesting,” Harry raises his brows. “Like what? What kind of spells?”

“Well,” you bristle, clearing your throat. “The spells I am working on are very intricate and difficult. The magic is… special,” you say. “Yes, special. We will… leave it at that.”

Hermione narrows her eyes from her place directly opposite you. “What do you mean, ‘special’?”

“Well-” you begin.

Ginny interrupts you. “She’s trying to create dark magic. Her goal is create a spell so dark, it will be the fourth Unforgivable.”

“When you put it that way, you make me sound evil!” You cry.

“That’s exactly what you told me!” Ginny shoots back.

Harry and Hermione are both staring at you, slack-jawed. Ginny, who has heard your idea multiple times before, is unfazed, and simply spreads butter on her roll as you are silently mocked.

“You can’t be serious,” Hermione says finally. You scowl. Picking up your bag off the ground, you rise to your feet and step away. “Where are you going? We need to talk about this!”

“Hermione’s right,” Harry sighs. “You cannot make an Unforgivable-”

“It’s not like she’s going to succeed anyway,” Ginny snorts. She turns to you. “No offense, but you’re just… incapable. You? Making an Unforgivable? You aren’t even a good student.”

“I-” you stammer. “You - well…” Finally, you stomp your foot and point to each of them in turn. “You’ll see! I’m going to become a legacy. I will be remembered throughout time. You just wait, all of you!” You spin around to the rest of the Great Hall. Most everybody is looking at you. Not in surprise - this isn’t a surprising scene, as it usually goes a lot louder - but they’re still watching. For good measure, you shout, “All of you!”

You storm out of the Great Hall and head immediately for the library.

A few hours later, you’re still researching in the back corner. A book is open on the table before you and you’re scribbling furiously onto a roll of parchment. Somebody sits across from you; you hear the moving of the chair. Without looking up, you mutter, “What? I’m trying to do something.”

“I heard about your scene in the Great Hall.”

At the sound of your boyfriend’s voice, your head whips up. Draco is sitting across from you, frowning. He is wearing his Slytherin uniform, as usual, minus the billowy robes necessary for class.

“What, you weren’t there to witness?” You continue writing, glaring at the words. “Everybody else was.”

“I was busy.”

“Of course you were.”

Draco sighs, moving closer. He peers over your shoulder at the parchment. You let him read it, leaning to the side. When he is finished, he nods and sits back down. “It’s interesting. Why are you writing the essay today? It is due in a week. There isn’t any research you have to do on it.”

“No,” you agree, blowing on the parchment to help the ink dry. “I was researching something else. Decided to take a break and get on the essay. Honestly, ‘What goal are you aiming to achieve by the time you die?’ What is the point of writing this? This has nothing to do with DADA.”

“It is just so the professor can get to know his students, see their writing style. I am… not surprised at your goal,” Draco shifts in his seat, the corners of his mouth turning up. “You have made it very clear, ever since we met, that you aim to be the most powerful witch alive.”

“I don’t even want to be a good student, like Ginny said,” you frown. “I’m sick of being USELESS. I just want to be powerful.”

“You are not useless. Trust me, you are powerful.”

“Not enough power. I will not rest until I create the next Unforgivable. I am thinking of something really terrible. Like… bringing somebody back from the dead, but they are a zombie, and they eat people, or… maybe one that encloses something around the victim and, inside, they drown-”

Draco gently says your name.

You look up.

He’s smiling at you, which isn’t something you see often. He usually doesn’t smile. Draco is usually sneering, most of the time at your friends. ‘Some friends they are,’ you think. ‘Not even supporting me in my quest to become the most powerful dark witch of the generation.’

His hair is a little messy, but only because it’s the end of the day and he’s run his fingers through it so many times. His tie is mostly undone - if you weren’t in the library, you’d maybe think of undoing it all the way and, in the process, getting his shirt off, too, because that’s always fun. Draco is more fun with his shirt off. He turns into Shirtless Draco - a carefree, flirty Draco that you like a lot. Now, though, he’s only Slightly Better Than Normal Draco. Normal Draco is a little uptight - this is a step up.

He reaches across the table and grabs your hand. “I think you need to calm down. I wouldn’t be saying this if you weren’t getting a bit out of hand, you know this. We’ve talked about this - creating Unforgivables, especially when you’re inside of Hogwarts, is sub-optimal. Let’s focus our… ambition, per se, to more cheerful projects. You are a very bright, powerful witch. I think the wizarding world could benefit greatly from your ability when you are creating something meant to inspire, not destroy.”

He gives this a minute to sink in. When it does, you finally nod, sighing.

“I guess I got too confident,” you huff. Draco’s eyes twinkle. You see him try to hide a laugh behind his hand. “Stop laughing at me or I will ignore you and create something even worse than the killing curse, then use it on you and your entire family!”

“Sorry, sorry…” He chuckles again, shaking his head. “I just… I don’t see why you aren’t in Slytherin.”

“Ginny says it’s because I have too much nerve. She says I’m reckless,” you shrug. “I don’t see it. Now, I have to return this book to the restricted section without letting Madame Pince know that I’ve done it. Would you like to help me, or just sit there and watch?”

Draco leans back. He crosses his legs on the table and folds his hands behind his head, against the wall. “Please. I would love to see you achieve this.”

“Careful, Malfoy. Keep talking shit and you won’t be kissing anyone for a week.” At his protest, you let a smirk grow on your face. “Only joking. I couldn’t handle not kissing you for a week. Okay, now I really have to return this, or I’m in deep shit. I’ll be right back. Don’t read my notes, they’re top secret, okay?”

“Okay,” Draco calls. Despite his agreement, you hear shuffling of parchment as you walk away. You roll your eyes. You expected as much.

So, since I was away during the “writer’s day appreciation post” thing, I didn’t have the possibility of tagging some of my favorites on this platform and I really wanted to participate in the event. What I’m doing today is listing some of my all time favorite writers and their stories just to share with you guys the awesomeness I witnessed and to sort of make amends for the writer’s day :)

⚜ A ticket to the sun - @gukvory | angst

Overpopulation of the planet leads to the unethical method of culling thousands of people once every month through a customary enlistment ballot. In such a world where your future is determined by your name on a piece of paper, life becomes much easier when you choose to be desensitised of emotions such as love and affection. But such an ideal flips completely upside down when Y/N punches a kid called Min Yoongi in the face.

This story. Boy, one of my favorite of all times I cannot even express how much I love it. If it were a book, I’d buy every copy out there and cherish it with all my heart. That’s how good this is.

What I absolutely love about this story is not the smut, the entrancing sex and the titillating thoughts it evokes - even though they are a wonderful addition - but the way the characters are absolutely human and flawed and even hateable at times. This story seems so real it baffles me. She doesn’t try to make you love each character but she describes them for what they are and that is the most beautiful thing in the world because we all need characters that are human, that can and will make stupid mistakes like we all do. I just love it.

⚜ Transference - @jeonjagiya | smut, angst

During a routine visit to the local bakery, you stumble upon an intriguing business card and figure, what the hell. The business arrangement becomes...mutually beneficial.

I love everything Iris ever wrote and ever will write, ok. But let me tell you: it’s not even just a smut story. Oh no. Iris blends so many more things into it can’t just be described as a smut story. Of course, there are sexual activities in it, of course, there is a lot of sexual tension going on, of course, you’ll need a gallon of water after reading each chapter B U T there is so much more to the plot! And it’s written so beautifully I just cannot believe this is a fan fiction and not something published and sold in the whole world. Damn, I love this story.

Yoongi can’t remember the last time he was able to successfully bring himself to the point of orgasm, then Namjoon gives him a business card advertising ‘Healing Hands’, and that’s where he meets you; pretty and innocent looking, who gets paid to provide hand jobs for a living…

I read this story when a lot of chapters were already out and I WAS ON THE VERGE OF SCREAMING THE ENTIRE TIME. This story got me hooked and left me speechless and let me tell you, a lot of talent is required to make look beautiful even a handjob given inside a shop, ok. Jordan writes so beautifully I just can’t. She makes long chapter feel like a drabble and it’s so utterly amazing.

Look, this is written by a goddess, period. I loved every single thing about this and most of all the fact that it could pretty much be a real story too. The realism is so on point it’s mesmerizing and I suffered so much reading this - for all the right reasons - I just couldn’t not mention it.

Rams and robot!Jimin. Do I even need to elaborate that further? I just love everything about this. The peremisis got me hooked, the first chapter got me hooked, just... everything. I love it so much and Rams’ angst is known for ruining people’s lives and I am a H U G E sucker for angst so... how could I not mention this masterpiece?

Your CEO caught your attention the first day you started your new job and it seems the attraction is mutual. Too bad he’s only interested in a relationship that benefits him.

If you never heard of this story before you were probably living under a rock. No, I’m kidding but at the same time, I am not. This story is so famous and rightfully so I almost slapped myself when it was recommended to me and a lot of chapters were already out. Like... where was I when this was happening? I read pretty much 3/4 of it in one take. I KNOW. It’s that addicting and it made me go to sleep long past midnight because I just had to finish the chapter. I just love it. It made my heart flutter, it made me cry, it made me scream and it also almost made me throw my phone out of the window. Perfect.

I've just bought a car, it's only a 6-7 minute drive away but I've been assured I don't want to be caught without insurance when picking it up and driving it home. I've had a look and all day or month insurers only insure 21+.
