SUGURU LEARNING THE PIANO FOR YOU.
𝐆. 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐔 — 夏油傑
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NOTE: pls ignore errors this is just a silly little fluff idea that popped into my head and i wrote it in one swing without planning so yes anyways REQUESTS ARE OPEN gimme all ur suguru/satoru/satosugu thoughts pls i accept fluff n smut n angst 🫡 or if u just wanna chat i promise i don't bite hehe
WARNINGS — lowercase used, fem reader, suguru calls you 'princess' once, a small bit of angst and self-deprecation (Suguru), kinda implied that satosugu both crush on you in college, gojo teasing you two bc he's an annoying little shit and i love him for that
JJK works
Tumblr media
you met him when he was in his final year of high school, in the music room during after a practice lesson with his uptight teacher.
geto suguru was a little bit of a showoff, especially when he saw your face walk into the room. some friends and others hung around him — you know, he's just that kinda person that people want to hang around and be close to and talk to even if they have nothing of interest to say.
he was thumbing at a bass, eyeing you out without making it obvious. each time you tried to speak, someone interrupted like a twittering bird, and it annoyed him like nothing else.
so the next time you two met delighted him — because you were left alone. at first he pretended not to notice you coming in, but he had sharp ears and definitely heard the soft thumping of your footsteps. he had his eyes fixed on his guitar, twisting and turning the pegs at the head, testing until it was tuned to perfection. and then played something smooth and sultry, a melody that wove through the seats and other standing instruments right over to you.
"hey suguru."
"oh hey, didn't notice you there." he lied, voice as smooth and deep as the notes he had just played.
"mind if i listen?" you asked, taking a seat close to him — but not close enough for him. he wanted you closer. oh well, he decided that he'd use his talented fingers to allure you into closer proximity.
"of course." he smiled and continued playing nonchalantly.
that nonchalance is what caught so many high school girl's hearts. he never stopped being popular with the ladies even in college.
and come college, he picked up another instrument to learn; the piano. difficult. challenging. annoying. despite the benefit of his long fingers and naturally graceful movements, it just didn't come as naturally to him as stringed instruments.
but he knew you liked the piano, or so he thought, because he heard you compliment it once when satoru played piano in front of you.
so he asked his best friend, "can you teach me to play this song? it's y/n's favorite." naively thinking that it would be simple. a week is all it took for him to start letting out exasperated sighs over the keyboard.
"suguru, don't be so harsh on yourself." satoru said after hearing a self-deprecating speech from him, "piano is hard. you need a lot of patience, especially if it doesn't come naturally."
"i'm clumsy." suguru sighed, eyes saddening at the sight of his fingers resting over the black and white keys. "i don't think y/n will care to hear her favorite song being played so poorly. she'll force a compliment out of kindness. she's sweet like that."
"it's been a week." satoru shook his head, bumping legs with suguru as he changed his sitting position on the piano seat. "no one in the world is gonna be even averagely good at the piano in a week - that's impossible unless you're — "
" — a real prodigy. like someone i know." suguru smiled, teasing his best friend out of nowhere. "ah, satoru, what i'd give to have a crumb of your talent right now."
he earned a sympathetic arm around his shoulders.
"must suck to be talentless." satoru joked, "kidding. keep practicing, i wanna see those hands moving when i come back. want anything from the store?"
"diet coke." suguru said, "and something spicy? thanks."
when the white-haired boy lankily strode out of the music theater, the atmosphere became somberly quiet. it was a big theater, much bigger than the cramped music room back in high school.
just when suguru had began lamely practicing again, you walked in. he was so caught up in self-deprecating thoughts, so distracted by his own inner criticism, that he didn't notice.
"hey suguru." you greeted, giving him the fright of his life — he visibly jumped, causing a jarring sound to whine from the piano.
"hey? hey! what — hey." he freaked out for a second, then composed himself, "good to see you again, where you been?"
"i'm sorry — prof's been on my ass about missing assignments. and sorry for never replying to messages," you chuckled nervously, coming to an idle stand next to the piano as he watched you. "i'm so shit at texting."
"that you are..." he laughed with you, "but i'm not much better. i prefer talking face-to-face." and he thought to himself; especially if it's your face.
you smiled at him. a small silence passed, then you nodded at the piano and inquired about it. "practicing?"
"yeah... kind of."
"can i listen?"
he began to blush. you'd never seen him blush before that. it was so subtle that you were almost unsure if it really was blush — or just a trick of the noon light streaming in through the tiny square windows.
"i'm really bad." suguru responded self-consciously, nervously wiping his palms on his dress pants.
"don't care, i wanna listen." you pushed, catching hint of his self-consciousness and deciding to attempt to break through it.
"ah, 'nything for my princess, i guess." he chuckled softly under his breath. he'd started using that nickname with you only recently, 'cause he'd been falling more and more in love than in high school.
so he sat and played the piano for you.
awkward notes, some smooth and purposeful — others a noticeable mistake. he grimaced at those mistakes, you had to laugh.
"hey..." you hummed in realization as he played. his eyes flicked up at you from the piano. "that sounds familiar." you said, "learning chopin so early? isn't that a bit advanced?"
"it is, yeah... but i wanted to learn it for y- because i like him. he's great right?"
"mhm..." you smiled at suguru. "i wouldn't have expected you to like him. actually, it's really surprising you're learning piano at all — why did you decide to?"
suguru froze up for a moment.
"i don't know. i just wanted to." he shrugged, lying very smoothly with that voice of flowing rivers.
"it's just that... you've always talked about how bass and guitar are your beloveds, and you'd never touch anything else. so that's why i'm curious."
he froze up again. you were catching onto him, so he just admitted it as nonchalantly as possible.
"i wanted to learn it because you like it."
that made your heart thump a bit more wildly than it already was from being in his presence. something about suguru is that he's capable of making hearts race just with his voice alone.
"really?" you felt the crown of your cheeks warm up, a heat spreading down to your jawline. his face was going completely red.
"yeah?" he swallowed, almost choking, looking away. his pretty hands lightly rested on the keys. you wondered for a second about how it would feel to have them cupping your cheeks.
"that's really sweet of you... thank you." you said sincerely.
maybe it was the effect of your gaze, or your sincerity, or both, but he felt like it was hard to breathe.
"damn, the tension!" satoru's voice boomed, abruptly breaking the quiet between you and suguru. "i could cut it with a knife. you two should just kiss already — i bought popcorn, let me watch." he lifted a convenience store bag.
"satoru, how long have you been standing there!" you laughed nervously.
"a while. you guys would definitely be the first to die in a horror movie." he said, the liveliness of his voice such a jarring contrast for your ears.
suguru's face was still red. your fists were curled up and laid on the edge of the piano.
"okay, just blurt it out already you two! so frustrating! this isn't a damn slow burn romance novel, just get together already."
"shut up," you laughed embarrassedly, "damn third wheel."
"i am not the third wheel — y/n, if you date suguru you're also dating me i hope y'know that. that's just how it works."
suguru let out an incredulous laugh. "oh my god, please, satoru."
"what? just being honest — don't look at me like that y/n i didn't mean i like you!" now satoru started blushing, "i'm just saying!" and then proceeded to over-explain himself while you and suguru dissolved into laughter.

PART 2/3
Part 1 ,, Part 3
Ed
Personality Headcanons: He hates tobacco. He hates it when people smoke around him. He's the kind of guy to put out your cigarette for you and you look up at him, thinking you're gonna fight some punk but quickly change your mind. His dad used to make him cut and light his cigars and he hated doing it so much he swore he'd never smoke. The hole that he sleeps in is deliberately cut, sanded, and reboarded. He nests in there. Probably Autistic and doesn't speak much around strangers. Will gladly infodump to his friends. He's in his mid-late 30s ~35-38. In addition to being part of TF4 he also works part time as a steam locomotive driver. After being tied to the train tracks, he kind of got curious about it. He can play an instrument, I'm just not sure which one. Probably a fiddle idk. Physical Headcanons: The tooth sticking out is a broken tusk. he desperately wants to grow facial hair, has tried, and cannot. He's very jealous of people who do have facial hair. ~6'05" Gender: Cis male Pronouns: He/Him Orientation: Straight He's a hardcore ally and loves going to pride events to support his friends. He thinks they're a lot of fun. Post Game: His life carried on fairly regularly afterwards, like Ace. I personally feel like he had more of a connection with Clover than the others though so, he was a little more impacted by their death. Sometimes he'll sit into the early morning with Starlo at the Saloon. Opinions: I'm bias. I heart large men so, points. I would have also liked to have seen more of him. One thing though is that on appearance alone I could so clearly hear his voice when he spoke. His design carries. 3.5/5.
Flowey
Personality Headcanons: Flowey is my favorite character in the Undertale franchise so I'm going to TRY to keep this short. As it stands, he's currently stuck at the maturity level he died at, so around 11-13. Since he doesn't have a physical body (other than a flower) he doesn't really age. I don't think he's a lost cause or even completely irredeemable. He's a terrified, traumatized, kid who's own parents don't recognize him anymore. He's had to try to navigate the world in a body that isn't his, completely alone. Sometimes when he goes through episodes he lies close to the ground to bite his petals and rip them off hoping that somehow it'll make room for his horns to grow back. He both despises his family for splitting up and ignoring him but wants nothing more than to be a family again. He has really conflicting feelings on a lot of things. I feel like if he went through extensive therapy his maturity would probably eventually catch up to what would be his chronological age if he wasn't a flower. He's touch starved but hates being touched. Probably has one or multiple personality disorders. Physical Headcanons: We get a side profile of his nose in his boss fight in neutral. I think that's a genetic trait from Asgore. Has freckles. Not much to headcanon since he's a Flower until the true ending of the OG UT when he ascends. Gender: He stopped giving fucks a long time ago. Pronouns: He/They (DESPISES being called an it) Orientation: Aroace. He's not necessarily repulsed but if asked if he has a crush on anyone he'd say "I'd rather watch someone be crushed to death than think ever think about dating." Post Game: N/A Opinions: I'm a die hard Flowey Apologist. He's such a deep, complex, and tragic character. I love him. I want to hug him. In this specific game too, wow, I love Flowey lore. Love Flowey angst. 5/5.
Martlet Personality Headcanons: Probably AuDHD. Definitely has racing thoughts / scatterbrain. Her first job was babysitting when she was a teen. She only barely got into The Royal Guard because they were desperate after losing a lot of good members in the war. She eventually proved herself to be a good member. Probably in her early 20s so ~21-23. Physical Headcanons: She's pretty buffed because of her job. ~5'10". I don't have too many. Gender: Trans Woman Pronouns: She/They Orientation: Multisexual of some sort with a preference for women. Also ambiamorous. Post Game: She quit her job at The Royal Guard, unable to really take the burden of having to kill a human child for the king. Chujin's words haunt her, what he said about her not being cut out for it. Instead she got a job as a classroom assistant. She bounces around the limited schooling system the underground has. So often times she gets a good reputation with the kids and will get to watch them grow up. Sometimes her job makes her think about how she could have done her best to hide Clover and watch them grow up too. She's a very emotional person by nature so, she would probably take the longest to really have it be in the past for her. But, she got right to *appearing* like she was moving on. By day it was like nothing had happened at all, she puts on a smile for the kids she helps out with, plays games with them. She's good at seeming okay but just shatters every night for a long time. Eventually (RAREPAIR), spending so much time with Dalv became beneficial for the both of them and they helped pull each other out of the rut. Opinions: I wish she had more screen time because she seems like a character the creators cared a lot about. She's very OC shaped and that's a good thing. I love when I can see the care that goes into a character. 4/5.

sorry to barge into your inbox, but I'd love to hear your take on Ibuki's childhood!
No need to apologize! My inbox is always open, especially for those who want to talk about Best Character.
So I just reread what I wrote for my friend (shout-out to @specificyeetcapacity !) and I should clarify: what I wrote is her life story before HPA. Not strictly about her childhood, per se, but it does include it! Gonna put it all under a Read More.
Here's a vision I have of how Ibuki Mioda grew into her current self ...
She was always a free spirit as a kid. Chipper, energetic, and friendly. She was always well-liked among her classmates just for being herself. Her parents tolerated it, and they nurtured her various phases until an interest in music won out, but they believed she'd grow out of it. They were firm about it. So were her teachers, less enthused about her individuality, and so were other authority figures in her life.
And she learned. Going into whatever is the Japanese equivalent of middle school, she tamped down her impulses in front of others, fitting in like a big girl should. But there was always music, and perhaps it was that withheld desire to express herself that fueled her hours of daily practice. Then came the band: she and a few like-minded girls found each other, jammed for fun, and realized that they're actually pretty good (especially Ibuki). They got serious.
Sometimes, it takes years. Sometimes, it just takes one viral video of one performance, starring a guitarist who, though fairly composed, can't contain her near-virtuosity with her instrument nor her exuberance. (Think of that Nyango Cat drummer video.) Suddenly, record deal. Hit singles. Nationwide tour. All in quick succession. The band becomes the hottest name in light music, a rep that only gets boosted when management promotes them as being in competition with another band comprised of all boys.
But Ibuki doesn't mind that other band - she digs their music. This whole battle of the sexes thing is ... phony. But her group sees the perks and plays into it, so Ibuki must too. Can't stand out, remember? Gotta be a team player, follow the crowd, and that's how you find success. Then Ibuki’s tastes lead her away from light music and toward a heavier sound. But she can't explore it - light music is their forte, their bread and butter! Don't mess with the money, don't mess with the formula, just dial down the Ibuki a little and keep strumming your silly songs! Doesn't she care about unity?
Yes. She does. A band needs a sense of unity to achieve harmony and reach their goals, and without it, they'll spend more time squabbling instead of making music. So, at the height of their fame, she leaves the band.
It's the hardest thing she's ever done. Never mind the challenges of going solo, which have taken down many a frontperson with way more years and experience. She connected with her bandmates, her friends, more than anyone before, and she severed that very connection herself. But then, they weren't letting her be herself. Maybe they never got to know who she really is, because she had to tone it down for the sake of ... who? Not herself, now that she thinks of it. For all the fun she had, for all the success she achieved, it also brought her a lot of pain. No matter what, not everyone will like her or vibe with her. Even when she tries to be someone different.
Then she receives a priceless recognition of her talent. Hope's Peak Academy extends her an invitation to join the student body as the Ultimate ... Light Musician. Well, she won't say no to the invite. Buuut she won't keep pretending to be something she's not. They won't get the Ultimate Light Musician. They'll get Ibuki Mioda, the maniac metalhead with devil horn hair, abrasive tunes about things like teen pregnancy, and a whole lotta personality.
She's as sweet and energetic as in her kid days. Maybe more so after the way some people have treated her, giving her an even greater empathy along with some sharper powers of observation. What's changed is just changing back to being unapologetically herself ...
Even if she does get lonely sometimes.
Thanks for asking for my take! I'd be happy to hear what you think as well. Feel free any time to barge into my inbox or message me :3

Hi, Spud!! Firstly, I would like to thank you for your amazing stories, they really help me get through tough times and always brighten my day!! 🥰 I love the way you write, every time I read your stories featuring Din I can literally feel his comforting presence through words and through the way that you describe everything in small details that make up a beautiful and heartwarming story. I think you’re very talented and such an interesting person to get to know better!! I’d really love to 🥺
If you don’t mind, can you answer 4, 13, 11, 22 (What’s your favorite drink??), 27, 28 (What’s your favorite music genre? Perhaps you have a favorite artist?) (it was really hard to choose, I wanted to ask you every one of these questions and more!). How did you get into writing??
Thank you for answering them and absolutely no pressure at all, you can choose the most comfortable ones!!!
Hello friend! Wow, what a lovely message to receive, thanks so much for taking the time to write and send this to me. You made my entire day 🥺
I'm SO happy that you enjoy my writing and my version of Din brings you comfort aaah. That means the world to me and messages like yours are why I love writing so much. To know that something you create means something to another person means the world.
Anyway, gonna answer your questions underneath the cut since you sent quite a few! It means a lot to know that you'd like to get to know me better. I am just a Din Djarin loving loser with an internet connection and far too much time on my hands but it's really nice to hear that you'd like to get to know me better!
4. mythical creature you think/believe is real?
I've got to go with Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster. I believe in my heart she is. I remember seeing a film when I was a kid about her being real and idk she seems friend-shaped even if she'd probably rip my head off without a second thought.
11. anything from your childhood you've held onto?
Trauma Nooo seriously: physically I think a lot of books and a fridge magnet collection I started back then. But intangibly: my love for Star Wars, playing musical instruments and a passion for writing and reading that have never truly left, even if they were dormant for a few years while I was at University.
13. first thing you're doing in the purge?
Too much of a coward to do anything really bad or violent, so I'd drive myself (well I don't have my license yet so that would already be one crime... but I think I could manage it hahah) to the nearest toy shop and clean it out of Lego. It's so expensive and there are so many nice sets I'll never own so that would solve that problem.
22. do you have an emotional support water bottle? (and my fave drink)
I do! It's actually a Mando one hahah it's this one I got from Primark and I love it. As for fave drink: it is 100% iced coffee. I don't drink alcohol anymore but tbh I haven't saved that much money since I gave up because of my slight iced coffee addiction.
27. what's your favorite or go-to outfit?
I definitely chose comfort over style. Usually just dress in jeans and a nerdy t-shirt with a comfortable sweater or hoodie on top. And always a pair of Dr. Martens! Comfiest shoes ever when you get past the blisters. I've never been one for fashion really but as long as colours don't clash, I don't care!
28. last meal on earth?
Ooh good question! So, so many foods I love but if I had to pick the last thing i could ever eat, I'd definitely go for a Korean barbecue. Such a good meal and the whole experience with a group of friends is the best.
What’s your favorite music genre? Perhaps you have a favorite artist?
Honestly the basic answer but I'll listen to pretty much anything. My top genres according to spotify wrapped last year were: pop, rock, modern rock, pov: indie (what) and soft rock so make of that what you will! My top artist was Taylor Swift last year and I love her but I have so many other artists I adore too! The other top 5 were blink-182, Lana Del Rey, Coldplay and The 1975 so that gives you some idea of what I'm into hehe. I'm so bad at describing my own music taste but it's sort of middle-aged dad core (also love Arcade Fire, The Stone Roses, Fleetwood Mac and Queen) plus Taylor Swift and Lana. AND 80s CHEESE LIKE ABBA!! Can't forget the cheese.
How did you get into writing??
I've always loved writing and done little bits here and there, but never had much confidence in myself until I did NaNoWriMo for the first time in 2020. I've completed it three times since then but it was really a combination of watching Mando s3 again and reading a book called Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell which I picked up for cheap in a charity shop last summer that made me think.... hey I could write fanfiction! And here we are! I love doing it. It's done so much good for my mental health and allowed me to chat to so many lovely people like you! I'm very grateful to have discovered writing when I did. Not sure where I'd be without it tbh!
Thanks again for all your questions, hope that helped you to get to know me a little better! If you feel like you want to, I'm more than happy for you to message me privately and chat too. But equally no pressure, thanks for your message and I hope we'll speak again!

This is completely left field and I probably have no grounding but here we go anyways lol. Do you think that how the person dies affects what their purpose becomes as a nomu? For example, Shirakumo died trying to protect children and then his job as a nomu is to protect a Shigaraki as a child. I'm not sure how much evidence there is the text, but I'd be curious to see if there's more.
I'm not sure how it would affect the story if this were true but I think it would be a cool idea. I'm a fan of your blog and I would love to hear your thoughts if you have any! <3
Maybe it's less about how the person dies and more about how they were like in life...? Personality, values, goals, that sort of stuff. I'm just hazarding a guess but this is also based on nothing but my hunch, so take it with a grain of salt!
Noumu retain part of the personalities of the host bodies. We've seen a couple of hints of this. There's Kurokumo, as you mentioned, but Hood, the high end of the Kyushu attack, also displays a certain thrill and drive to fight strong opponents, and I reckon it was linked to the fact that he used to be an underground fighter when he was still alive. So some of that drive might've passed onto his new form, and influenced his actions even as a noumu.
Woman, the high end in Jakku, also had a similar aggressive side, which makes me think her bloodlust was only partly due to the conditioning she received with Ujiko's experimentation. Tho that's a guess since I don't remember if we were ever told details about her civilian identity before death.
Those were high ends, which are more sentient than the other ones, but there's another example of this that comes to mind. Remember the winged noumu that captured Izuku at the end of Hosu's arc, the one Stain stopped? In an extra Horikoshi explained why it targeted Izuku specifically:
Tumblr media
It seems that the host body, despite looking like an adult man, retained the conscience of this kid who is also part of its genetic code. Said child was one of the bullies who picked on Izuku as a kid.
All that said, your hunch might also be true for all we know. It's just that we only know the circumstances of Shirakumo's death amongst all the noumu introduced so far, so it's really hard to say if that is instrumental to the "programming" of noumu brains or a factor that works in Ujiko's favor.
But I'll be honest here, the logic behind noumu science confuses me a lot. There's so much we don't know, so we might not even have all the required puzzle pieces to draw conclusions.
For example, I've always worked under the assumption that Noumu are revived corpses with bioengineered extra quirks and more "stable" host bodies that can better sustain that kind of strain.
But if that's the case, how come did Ujiko (or whoever worked for him) save Touya's life and then supported his vitals for the three years of his coma? Couldn't he have just waited for Touya to die? In Shirakumo's case, he definitely worked with a dead host. But Kurokumo is an uncommon type of noumu. For one, he has a different anatomy (no exposed brains, no augmented muscles or black tissue), but also more bodily autonomy and an ability to process a conversation that most other noumu don't possess. Does that mean that the science Kurokumo went through was the exception and not the rule? Did hosts need to be alive, normally? Was that why Ujiko used orphanages as the primary source for stockpiling quirks? Am I just reading too much into this? Possibly.
Then there's the fact that AFO waited to talk to Touya before giving the "operation: Noumify Endvr's kid" a go. Not only that, but he tried to manipulate Touya into accepting the "help." Is this also an exception or the rule? Does the noumu science hinge on some sort of... Resentment for heroes, or for society, or whatever else, to make the recipient an effective weapon? Is that why they needed Touya's consent? Did they want to make sure he'd turn against his dad and not just go back to him as a noumu and reveal AFO'S cards 7 years before AFO'S plans?
It's all very much up in the air and I have so many questions

💭, 🎤 , 🎵 and 💃 for your AoT F/Os? :0 (no need to answer for all of them if you don't feel like it tho!!)
TYSM FOR THE ASK ANONNN <333 many kithies for you <3 I'll answer for all of them!! IM SO EXCITED ik i could have split this up, but I want to be annoying w my love rn <3 Thoughts 💭 - What do you think your f/o thinks about you when you’re not around? Armin: Armin I think would just be wondering if I was okay, he worries a lot and his mind tends to get the better of him! But, I also think he'd be doing something productive and is thinking of what he's gonna talk to me about later, maybe something I mentioned to him that he wanted to read up on for me to soothe his nerves. Also probably just being lost in thought about us, definitely some romantical stuff going on in his brain too!! Jean: He's being a simp. Jean can't stand being away from me for too long, he gets nervous like a dog with separation anxiety-- or well, a horse with separation anxiety? He gets very easily irritable in this time, because he also worries, but to everyone else he pretends he's totallyyy not worrying about whether or not I'm somehow in some kind of situation that's not ideal or dangerous. Or he gets insecure if I'm with someone else giving them all the attention I give him, he's a very jealous person. But, if he knows for a fact that I'm safe and sound, he's still being a simp, and he's thinking about me in very simpy way. Erwin: 100% thinking about me coming into his office to convince him to stop working however late he's up in the middle of the night and to come to bed. He plays it over and over in his head until it actually happens, or he's done with his work. He has so much responsibility, but he likes that I bring him away from it when he's overworked since he can't bring himself to do it. It prevents less exhaustion, and I get to actually have my man in my bed at night! Any other time though? He's thinking of what he's going to do for me when I get home, make dinner, maybe buy a spontaneous gift, perhaps write out some romantic letter. He's always looking for ways to surprise me when I'm not around! Yelena: Also being a simp. A huge, flaming, homo. She can't stop thinking about me at any given moment, she just can't! At work? She's thinking about me. Out with her co-workers? She wishes she was at home with me. She has to take a business trip without me? Oh she's gonna die without me around. I won't hear the end of it. She's thinking wholesome things, spicy things, anything to do with me. If she's out shopping and sees something I'd like? No question about it TAKE HER MONEY she's buying it for me. Yelena can't go longer than 24 hours without seeing my face or she goes into withdrawals, she turns feral!
Microphone 🎤 - Does your f/o sing or play music? If so, how are they at their craft, and what’s your favorite thing about it? Armin: Does not sing or play music! He loves listening to it though! Jean: Jean play Bass guitar and electric guitar, he's pretty good at it! He's a pretty decent singer too, but he likes playing more than singing. My favorite thing about it is the confidence he gets, it's so ridiculously attractive and I'm such a loser when he gets like that. Erwin: In my mind, Erwin was 100% a theater kid. His projection voice? Ain't no way he wasn't! I think he can sing very very well, but he just never gets the chance to anymore! But, now that he knows I have the hots for any good vocals, oh, he's singing a lot more. Even if it's just simple stuff while he's in the kitchen, or he's singing along to musicals we watch. He's got a great voice!! No instruments though, I don't think. My favorite thing about this would be him doing those little musical bits while he's cooking dinner or organizing his desk! Yelena: Nope and nope. Maybe she was in band when she was a kid and had to very awkwardly play the clarinet or something, but she's not very musically inclined. She likes to listen to it as well though!
Song 🎵 - What’s a song your f/o knows by heart, and a song you know by heart? Armin: Oh, easy. Line Without A Hook by Ricky Montgomery. He knows it's a generic/popular song but it doesn't stop us BOTH from belting it in the car very poorly because it just goes that hard!! Jean: Tonight by Peter McPoland, absolutely. He LOVES this song and will always sing it any given moment. One song I know by absolute heart no questions asked is Waiting Room by Phoebe Bridgers. You won't ever catch me singing it though!! Erwin: Theater kid incoming again!! Two choices here, maybe three. I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables, he loves the steady incline on that song! Also, All I Ask Of You from Phantom Of The Opera! For me, deadass ANYTHING from Sweeney Todd. Most likely Epiphany or A Little Priest! Yelena: I don't know if she does...It's probably some kind of curve ball like the national anthem or the burger king whopper song that annoys the shit out of me, I'm not too sure!! For this one I'll say the Fish McBites jingle, bcus my echolalia won't let that go.
Dance 💃 - Can you or your f/o dance? Armin: Yes! I think Armin is a great dancer! He really like doing it, but he's no professional or anything, he just thinks it's fun! He knows I cannot dance and will refuse to, but I love watching him dance! Jean: ...yes? Yes. He can dance but it's very sloppy, he has great potential though. Always tries to get me to dance but he can never convince me bcus it'd just be embarrassing with both of us OFIUHSAD Erwin: Theater kid. I think he can do some stuff! I will beat this head canon into the ground!! Will insist on ballroom dancing, which he will 100% have to lead and do most of the work for cus I can't dance for the life of me. Yelena: We both can't dance but she refuses to take that as an answer! I have a drawing I did of us doing just that, here! She's super tall and I'm only JUST tall. It's hard to work with but it's silly and fun and cute <3 TYSM FOR THE ASK!! Sorry for dumping so much, a.ot is my weakness and my Ultimate Autism™️

Songwriting Secrets and Inspirations: Inside the Mind of Tom Minor Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Tom Minor who is a London based musician, a musician with  many talents. When we say talents I mean the talent to create elaborative tunes and lyrics that ponder important questions, Tom’s music is fascinating, he blends blues, rock , indie , and his sounds are so appealing that it can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life. The title of his latest single, “Where Do You See Yourself In Five Years?” is one that steals your attention, I mean that was what really spiked my interest, and I wasn’t disappointed, he actually nailed it on the head. Tom travels on a juke journey via blues-rock rhythms about the intricacies of growth and fear. In a recent interview with Mister Styx of Musicarenagh, we get into Tom Minor’s creative world, where he tells us how he is inspired and how his musical style evolved. Come with us as we reveal the heart of Tom’s craft, his thoughts on the music business and upcoming works including his much anticipated first album – “Eleven Easy Pieces by Anger & Disappointment.” Prepare yourself to take a deep dive into the thoughts and tunes of Tom Minor as he reveals his ideas, tales, and undying love for making music that touches people’s hearts. Listen to Where Do You See Yourself In Five Years below https://open.spotify.com/album/1Vjcf85RHzJlvyzFSUim2e Follow Tom Minor  on Facebook Spotify   What is your stage name? Tom Minor, at your service! Is there a story behind your stage name? Well, I was born Thomas Miner, and I’ve always been called Tom, so I guess that’s as far as my imagination went. Where do you find inspiration? I'd say my musical tastes are quite eclectic and I tend to follow all things indie more or less, often the quirkier the better. I also have an affinity for rootsier stuff, be it blues, country, folk, vintage soul, punk, new wave or even pure classic rock, as long as the song in question strikes a chord in me. What was the role of music in the early years of your life? I've been into music as long as I can remember really. My parents had a great record collection, and I always loved good old rock tunes as well as all the catchy pop melodies of the day they used to play when I was a kid. Are you from a musical or artistic family? Not particularly. I did inherit a great deal of love and appreciation for all art forms from my childhood family though. There was always music playing in our home. And although my parents didn't really play any instruments, they used to sing a lot together along to the radio or records, especially at weekends and house parties. Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry? It must have been the slightly older kids in the neighbourhood who seemed to have all the best records. They started learning instruments and eventually formed bands, looked cool and sounded great whenever I had the chance to see and hear them play. How did you learn to sing/write/to play? I’m pretty much self-taught. Very few actual lessons, but a lot of listening, reading, trial & error and rehearsing on my own and with others. What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform? One of the earliest that I recall was this huge free concert in Victoria Park, London, where I went with my school mates. There was this local Brit pop band, whose name I can't even remember now. I don't think they ever recorded, but they totally blew our minds, and I'm sure we wanted to follow in their footsteps right there and then. Sometime later we went to see The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys and the like many times over. How could you describe your music? What is your main inspiration? I call it classic indie rock, broadly speaking and for lack of a more precise term. Musically, I’d say any piece of music that I happen to enjoy for whatever reason can be inspirational, and I do take a lot of influence from here and there. Lyrically, I guess I’m
most often inspired by ordinary everyday things, be it human relationships or more universal issues. Describe your creative process. My songwriting process often starts with the title and some kind of basic idea for a viewpoint. Once I've come up with a promising candidate for a song title, I'll let it work in my subconscious for a while, and if it still seems valid enough after a couple of days, I start writing down ideas around it. Usually the musical embryo of the song begins to take shape at the same time, and the music and the lyrics often write each other hand in hand. When it comes to the recording part of the process, I like the song to be as finished as possible before I start fiddling with the recording gear. What musician do you admire most and why? If I could mention only one, I’d say composer Arnold Schoenberg. He pretty much single-handedly changed the course of (art) music by inventing the famous twelve-tone technique in the 1920’s. Besides him though, I'd name David Bowie. He was obviously a great inventor as well and has had a huge impact on modern music. Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career? I guess so. My earlier stuff was more straight-forward, and a certain number of nuances and layers both musically and lyrically has no doubt crept in since. Who do you see as your main competitor? I don’t really see competitors when it comes to other musicians. We’re all sowing the same field, more or less, and the more good music there is in the world, the richer the culture will get. I guess the real competitors for all musos are other activities like games and social media these days. What are your interests outside of music? If it wasn't a music career, what would you be doing? This is a tough one. Well, I’ve always been keen on reading, from poetry to prose, science and even journalism, so I guess I’d try my hand at writing something myself. What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music? Finding my own voice and style of writing was never hard for me. But it’s always a challenge for a beginning musician to get heard. I've been no exception. https://open.spotify.com/artist/32YArD0HkJCT8cEsBzMWFi?si=fMW3ey-OTr2QbcX-9d504g If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be? This one is easy: artists get paid way too little by digital platforms. Why did you choose this as the title of this project? Referring to my currently single “Where Do You See Yourself in Five Years?”, I always found that classic job interview question fascinating in some disturbing way. So I guess it was just a matter of time before that song wrote itself. What are your plans for the coming months? We’re currently mixing my debut album Eleven Easy Pieces on Anger & Disappointment, and it’s due out sometime in April or May. Do you have any artistic collaboration plans? Hopefully more so in the future. This much I can tell you now: I’m looking to deepen our collaboration with my producer Teaboy Palmer, who’s also a respected roots artist in his own right. What message would you like to give to your fans? A humble thank you to each and everyone for following me. And: hang on, there’s loads of nice stuff in the pipeline for the next few weeks and months!

Hi again! How’s it going? Thank you for your kind words, I’ll be sure to give myself a break if I need it ^^
Once I finish my Latin education, I might want to go on to study ancient Greek. The language has always fascinated me, though I’ve always procrastinated on learning it. I’ve also considered making videos analyzing Roman graffiti, but I’d have to get over my camera shyness first haha. People tend to focus on the funnier graffiti, which is understandable, but I think other kinds of graffiti deserve love too :]
Are there any thing you plan on learning, or that you’d like learn if you had the means? It could be anything, a craft, a language, an instrument :D
Clemens!! I always liked Clemens, I remember being so happy when he was able to escape Pompeii, but was kinda disappointed that he only showed up for one chapter in book two :[ I remember not paying much attention to Quintus in the first book, but I really came around to him in the next two books :]
I always loved Uranus, I felt like it was such an under-appreciated planet. I remember just thinking that it looked really cool as a kid haha. I also was always interested in Neptune, partially because of its elusiveness.
In your last response you brought up being interested in space travel as well. Do you have any favorite space missions? :]
Also don’t worry about getting to my recommendations right away! I have to be in a music listening mood to appreciate an album, so I totally relate to that feeling of being in a musical rut!
Also, that video of Norma Tanega is so cute! I love when you can tell that a musician truly loves what they’re doing! I’ll have to check out the redr of her other music sometime :D
I like to write about historical topics and media analysis. I especially like to connect modern media back to ancient myths, and sorta analyze why these kinds of narratives are so appealing to people. I also like to write about misconceptions we have about the ancient world, specifically Greece and Rome, since those are what I’m most familiar with. Though looking into disproving these myths is fun in itself, I also like to try and find how the myth formed and why it was perpetuated! I just think it’s so interesting how you can tell a lot about a culture based on what stories they tell :] Sorry that this was kinda long winded, I got a little carried away haha ^^’
Also, I definitely understand having a hard time sharing writing. I always get a bit bashful when showing people my art or writing, even online. It feels very vulnerable to put your work out there, so I totally get it. Once you start looking for beta readers, I’d love to volunteer! Admittedly, I’m a bit of a slow reader, so I might not be the best at beta reading, but I’d love to give it a shot! :D
I’m glad you were able to tackle that problem! I love ruminating on things in my mind as well. There's something so satisfying about figuring out the solution to a problem after thinking about it in the shower haha
I know you’re a writer, but do you like to read as well? If so, do you have any favorite books? :D
I’m so happy these asks make your day! I always look forward to reading your responses and writing the next one. SRS came up during a kinda tumultuous time for me, and it has really helped to keep me grounded and gave me something to anticipate every day. Your responses mean a lot to me, and I always love to hear what you have to say! I hope you have a good day/night! :]
- 🎲
Hello again! So sorry for the delay; yesterday was fairly busy for me, so I didn't really get a chance to reply! Thank you for your patience, I really appreciate it.
Oh wow, that sounds like a lot of fun! If you decide to go through with it, I hope you enjoy it a lot! Now, I forget; did they have a Cambridge Greek course as well, or just Latin? And that's totally fair; with Latin alone I'm sure you had a lot on your plate, so take the time you need before you move on to Greek! If you do ever make videos, I'd love to watch them. I know very little about Roman graffiti, so it'd be fun to learn more! Any examples you'd like to share?
Hmm, well, I would really like to learn how to read sheet music and play piano if I ever got the energy or time. I know a tiny bit, and how to play a few parts of a few songs, but nothing major beyond that, really! What about you? Aside from languages, what other stuff do you want to try to learn in life?
Right? He definitely deserved more attention, I think! I forget quite a bit, but I think Quintus did some pretty good stuff towards the end of it all, right? I'm so glad people are still reading those books, they're such a good way to introduce people to the language, I think!
The ice giants are both great; I truly hope we can get something out there again soon! From what I understand, China is potentially going to have a small probe perform a flyby of Uranus in the 2040s, but I don't know if they'll go through with it or not. No clue if we'll ever get anything for Neptune, but here's to hoping! 😭 I'd have to say Skylab! Not for anything special it did, but I feel like it was one of the last things that encompassed the dreams of the 60s and 70s, y'know? Of a future with civilians living and working in space, but obviously things didn't turn out that way lol Aside from that, I think the Soviet Zond 5 was interesting scientifically, since it was the first mission to carry life to the Moon! It was two turtles, a few fruit fly eggs, and some seeds. They all survived too, thankfully! A little starved, but they made it! Ah, quite the opposite! Talking to you has gotten me back into listening to music again, and I've enjoyed it all so far! Thank you so much, I really do mean it. Sometimes I just get tired of listening to music, but having new stuff is a great help! And I hope you enjoy the rest of Norma Tanega's stuff; she's very nice to listen to, and had a great personality from what it seems. Please, talk about your interests as much as you want! I love seeing people be so passionate about things, it really warms my heart. I'd love to hear of some misconceptions people have; I'm sure I've fallen for a few, as well! On top of that, what's your favorite myth you've encountered so far? I love talking about ancient civilizations as well, although I've read more about Pre-Columbian civilizations more than I have others!
It's hard sharing anything you yourself make, isn't it? It's such a vulnerable thing to do, to have complete strangers or even friends see the things you've made. I'm sure it gets easier with time, but I'm sure there'll always be that little bit of shyness, no matter what. I'd love to see what sort of things you've made, if you ever feel like sharing! And there's no rush at all; it's a lot to read, so there's no pressure at all. I'm just thankful that you're willing, it means a lot to me! Thank you! I think the best/worst part is when it's late at night or early in the morning, and it just suddenly hits you; you have to write it down or else you'll forget and fall back asleep! It's happened to me more than I can count lol That's a good question! I like some older scifi authors like Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, and Douglas Adams, but I also like some nonfiction writers like Marshall T. Savage (his "The Millennial Project" was a huge inspiration for me growing up!), Michael Pollan, and Charles C. Mann are all great too. What about you? Aww, same here! And I'm so sorry things have been rough for you lately; I hope they settle down for you, and that you can enter a calm and happy era of your life once more. I know you're on anon and we still don't know each other all too well, but if you ever need anything, let me know! Please take care, and have a great rest of your day! Talk to you again soon!

At your part of the world, is it summer now?: No. It's autumn going into winter. We've had snow on the fells over the past week too.
What’s the warmest it can get over there? How about the coldest?: It got to about 34 last summer which was insane for around here, we were on an Amber warning. On the tops it can get to -25 easily, but in our town I'd say about -5 or so as we're by the sea.
Is there a bad habit you’re trying to break right now?: No.
Is it easy to find a job in your preferred field in your home town?: I run my own business in my field and it wasn't hard to get customers. That said, there are three of us now and I think if there were too many more, the market would be a bit saturated.
When is the last time you went to a fun fair?: Years ago. Whenever we went to Blackpool.
How about an amusement park?: Same as above, I think it was about seven years ago now. The one that comes to our town is for little kids really.
Did you/will you take part in your city’s Pride parade this year?: No.
If not, why not?: Because we don't have one. The nearest is over two hours away.
Ladies: Would you ever consider proposing? If not, why not?: Sure, why not?
Gentlemen: How would you feel, if you were proposed to?: .
Have you ever played the original Mass Effect trilogy?: No.
If so, which Shepard and who do you like romancing the best?: -
Let’s say there’s a person in need. They need money which they can’t make. Would you be more likely to help them out, if a celebrity asked you to?: No.
When you go to a restaurant, do you have a go-to dish?: I definitely have favourites that I order at chain places, yeah. All the local places here change their menus regularly so I just pick whatever I fancy at the time.
Or do you always try out something new?: I'm quite particular about food/flavours/textures so I tend to stick with what I know.
Would you rather live next to a kindergarten or an old folks’ home?: Old Folks' Home. Much quieter and less traffic.
What was the last game that you played?: CountryStar.
What do you know about Finland?: Not much, ha. One of my friends is from there though and whenever she goes back to visit it always makes me want to go. It's gorgeous.
Where was the postcard from that travelled the longest way to you?: New Zealand to England.
Have you ever made jewelry?: Just kids ones.
Have you ever upcycled anything? If so, what?: Yeah, most of our furniture is up-cycled.
Which app do you use the most on your phone?: Facebook or TikTok.
Did you learn to play an instrument as a kid? If so, which one?: Yeah - recorder, piano, guitar and cornet.
What is the best part of your most ordinary day?: Getting home from work to my animals, or getting into bed at the end of the day.
If you learned that you suddenly needed an aid of some sort to do something that you normally don’t need (glasses, hearing aid, etc.), would you comply or would you put it off until there was no choice anymore?: I mean, I've been wearing glasses since I was seven so obviously I would just comply, lol. I don't understand why you wouldn't.
Do you enjoy being on your own?: I love time on my own. Honestly, I'd go crazy without it.
Or are you happier when there’s a crowd around you?: Definitely not. I find crowds REALLY stressful.
Have you ever been to a zoo? If so, which one(s)?: Loads of zoos - off the top of my head, South Lakes, Colchester, Banham, Edinburgh, Whipsnade, London, Woburn Safari Park, Melbourne, Berlin (I think?) and I'm sure there are others. I loved going to the zoo as a kid.
How about petting zoos?: Sure, loads of times.
Have you thrown your “winter coat” off yet?: No. We're only in November.
Do you ever look up what foreign idioms mean?: Sometimes.
What’s the strangest saying you’ve come across?: Nothing in particular is coming to mind right now.
What’s a First World problem that you have?: Meh, I'm sure there are plenty.
Do you use food products that are advertised as more healthy?: No. I just buy what I like, I don't really pay much attention to how it's marketed.
Does it matter to you if the produce you use is organic?: Generally I avoid organic food.
If so, why?: Because organic is generally overpriced and pointless.
What has been the worst sort of physical pain that you have felt?: Sacroiliitis or a wisdom tooth infection.

tcon kids and instruments: what i think they would play / which instrument represents their personality!
a note: i've had 10+ years of classical music training for piano and 6+ years of performing in several ensembles. most of the descriptions given are based off my experiences with hearing these instruments in performance settings and interacting with the people who play them.
peter pevensie
Tumblr media
snare drum. this instrument is the backbone of pretty much any orchestral/marching band ensemble; it sets the rhythm and pacing for all pieces. ask any player how they keep track of their part and they'll tell you they pay attention to the snare drum. in that way, the snare drum is a leader. but! never forget that the conductor is the one who calls the shots. you'll find that if the snare drum player decides to not listen to the conductor, they can pretty much alter the course of the song, and often for worse. in summary: peter is the snare drummer who takes charge, and aslan is his conductor.
susan pevensie
Tumblr media
harp or lyre. i can imagine that in cair paravel, the soft, yet calculated plucking of strings would reverberate through the halls. it should be noted that susan isn't much of a performer like edmund or jill; rather, she considers this activity of hers as a pastime she dabbles in once in a while. it's peaceful and grounding to her. she does, however, have a piece ready in the event she is asked to present something, such as during a ball. that's when everyone sees how she lives up to her title, gently playing her instrument and filling the air with graceful and serene tones.
edmund pevensie
Tumblr media
guitar or lute. edmund is a passionate performer, whether it's devising an act in the courtroom to turn the tides in his favor or plucking out a folk tune in the streets. narnians claim there's magic channeling through his fingertips as he performs, and the grave, quiet man they thought him to be, disappears into the shadows of the forest. the creatures dance, the trees hum, and the colors turn a little more vivid as he twists his tuning pegs. when he picks up the instrument on earth, his parents are convinced he must have been a guitarist in his past life. in a way, it's true.
lucy pevensie
Tumblr media
flute. a flute's timbre is airy, light and likely to sport many playful tunes. this instrument is often at the forefront when it comes to melodies played in an ensemble, like a guiding beacon for the rest of the players to follow. in other words, i find it best representative of lucy and her character. not to mention, i can definitely picture mr. tumnus teaching her how to play a version of the flute, like his own which resembles a combination of the aulos/duduk. she carries it with her to the battlefield, lifting up the spirits of her people, and renewing them with energy that is rumored to be enchanted.
eustace scrubb
Tumblr media
oboe. this instrument can stick out like a sore thumb in an arrangement. at times it will sound shrill, nasally, and there are many times where the conductor will ask you to back down with the dynamics. it's no wonder why it reminds me of a certain, snarky boy. however, after practicing and polishing, an oboe and its solo can be the defining aspect of a musical piece. eustace never cared for the instrument, only picking it up because there was nothing else left, and it showed. however, after a change of heart, the ensemble takes a turn for the better and he throws on the performance of a lifetime.
jill pole
Tumblr media
trumpet. many trumpet players i know possess strong and vibrant personalities. they tend to have a mind of their own, which sometimes clash with the conductor's feedback. what jill finds enticing about the trumpet is that the instrument itself is quite tough to control sound wise. she likes a good challenge. i can imagine her being a prominent jazz player, always confident under the spotlight and improvising for her solos. to the assuming eye, she looks like a woodwind player, mellow and sweet. but come to her performances and she will knock your socks off with clear and striking brass tones.
caspian
Tumblr media
piano. piano players are versatile in that they can take command, move people with their pieces, and have competitors at the edge of their seats or remain in the background of an ensemble, always there, but never overpowering. additionally, many ensemble pieces start off with a piano solo before having other instruments join in. these two facts mirrors caspian's lonely venture into the forest before running into the narnians and the uncertainty of his authority around peter. however, he gains confidence with time, just like a pianist who finally gets used to the weight of the keys in a new piano.

I was hoping I could get a mha matchup for a guy and a girl,if not both then just a guy? If thaþs okay of course!
I wouldn't describe myself as lazy but I'd say I'm pretty chill. I'm a bit more laid back and kinda go with the flow type of person. While this is the way i act on the inside i get really stressed out. I tend to overthink alot of things especially how others see me. When i feel this way to calm myself down I usually play piano/ukelele while singing, drawing or playing video games. Because of this i tend to see the world in patterns and im a pretty good problem solver.
I'm really shy and stand offish when i meet people for the first time but when i get to know people I'm very goofy and silly. I'm a very polite person especially around mine or other peoples family. I try not to judge people based on others opinions as well, waiting till i meet someone before judging them. I think family is important but I also believe family isn't always the people your related to but anybody you love and feel close to. Altho i do often feel insecure and scared that people don't like me or care about me the way I do.
For hobbies I like to play the piano ehich I've been doing for years now. Recently I started learning to play ukelele and I love to sing along when i play. I also like to draw things like anime characters, dragons and other animals. I also love video games and have been playing them my whole life. My favourite genres are fantasy, comedy and horror. For fantasy I just love the way they can make creatures i wouldnt even dream of look so real, it just makes me feel so happy and like im a kid again. For comedy i love to laugh and hear the people around me laugh,it makes me feel good to know others around me are happy. As for horror It helps me deal with my anxiety. It distracts me from being anxious about my own life and to be anxious about the movie instead.
I'm a pretty fearless person when it comes to most fears like bugs, spiders and the dark. People always make me catch any bugs and lizards they find in their houses haha. I love listening to music late at night to fall asleep and often listen to rock, rap and almost anything. I'm also a bit of a goth when it comes to style. Oh and im 17. I hope this is enough haha 😅
Oh sure!! So for the guy from mha I match you with shinso!
Tumblr media
Shinso tends to come home pretty late because of his training so when he does your usually watching a movie or already playing a video game. He go take a quick shower before jointing you on the couch to watch you play the game/to watch the movie with you. Shinso isn't really scared of anything either, so he doesn't mind watching horror movies with you (but he does find them kinda dumb because of how predictable they are, he won't say anything about it tho.) Shinso really only ever laughter or smiles with you, he has a soft spot for you.
To get closer to you shinso will last you to teach him how to play the ukelele, he tries his best to get to know you better. Now since shinso isn't that good at showing emotions, he'll show his affection in different way. If shinso finds out that there's a new movie/game you want, poof it's on your bed the next morning (he likes spoiling you.) He also likes to cuddle with you while they to sleep (of course he'll have music playing for you.) Shinso would love to see your drawings if you would let him, he would even love to keep one for his room.
For the mha girl I match you with jiro!!
Tumblr media
Jiro is talented in many musical Instruments, of course because of her family. If you wanna learn a new instrument, jiro wouldn't mind teaching you at all. Jiro loves horror movie so she would glady watch them with you, she'll even play horror games with you. However jiro doesn't like bugs at all especially spiders (it's not that's she scared of them she just doesn't want them to touch her because she thinks they feel weird.) Jiro loves watching you draw, she'll even have you teach her a couple of things about drawing.
If you have a really bad anxiety attack out of no where, jiro will hold your hand and try to district you from what ever is giving you anxiety at that time. Jiro finds your jokes kinda stupid but they always make her laugh no matter how stupid they are. You and jiro play video games all the time together, sometimes you two will even compete against each other for fun. Jiro shows her affection though little gifts and sometimes physical affection (gifts contain little poems she'll write you or fantasy stuff she can find you.)
I hope you like it! 💛💜

"They know I'm alive now, and they are not in the habit of leaving loose ends."
"You take me to the nicest places."
"Your group clearly can't be trusted, so we're separating you, like children."
"Hey, I don't take orders from you, asshole."
"I shouldn't have listened to _. He's out of his mind."
"Well, I mean, when people can't hear me, I just shout louder."
"Do you think she's mad at you?"
"Maybe you should just say sorry."
"We didn't ruin his entire dinner, just dessert."
"I may never see my family again."
"I'm just saying, I know you think you're alone. That we don't know what you're going through. But... you don't have to be."
"And for the record, I think you're damn worthy."
"There's a world of difference between your struggle and mine. Whether you succeed or fail, your family is still alive."
"Everybody up! Creepy shit incoming!"
"Five of my men are dead. If you didn't kill them, who did?"
"Aw, that sucked."
"You creepy fuck!"
"_, it's time. Prove yourself."
"Where did those foul things come from?"
"Look at me, I'm a snack."
"We're all with you, but... no more secrets, all right?"
"I think I need to tell her sorry."
"Oh, but what if I need you?"
"You can always talk to me. Even if I'm not around, you'll feel me there with you."
"You're their light now."

How She-Ra, Wrong Hordak, and I Deconverted in Six Steps
Alright y'all, it's time for my fourth essay exploring how She-Ra and the Princess of Power (SPOP) used Christian themes and parallels to provide a humanist message.
My first post named 9 major messages of SPOP that contradict Christian fundamentalism.
My second gave the historical context of how our generation and Noelle's are growing up to overthrow Christian fundamentalism after it became such a powerful enemy in the U.S.
My third discussed the parallel between Horde Prime’s rage at Hordak’s self-naming and the Christian idea that everyone is an instrument of God’s will.
Now I want to discuss how Adora's and Wrong Hordak's journeys defections from the Horde parallel my story, and potentially others', of leaving Christianity. Adora and Wrong Hordak experience many of the same stages in his journey out of the Horde as many ex-Christians experience leaving Christianity.
My own experience leaving Christianity was a journey into atheism, so I will interpret Adora's and Wrong Hordak's stories through that lens. Plenty of people who left toxic/conservative Christianity behind still believe in God, in heaven, and/or in the value of Christian communities. I do not want to minimize or dismiss their experiences, and I welcome progressive Christians as allies in the fight for LGBT+ rights and social justice generally. But when I watched Adora and Wrong Hordak leave their belief in The Horde behind, I saw myself leaving Christianity behind. I want to tell my story through/alongside theirs. I hope some of you can relate, but it is okay if you cannot, regardless of your religious beliefs or lack thereof.
Deconversion in Fast-Forward
Adora, Wrong Hordak, and I escaped from the organizations that raised us and its worldview in six somewhat-distinct stages:
Tumblr media
Multiple major characters' arcs in She-Ra begin with rethinking their loyalty to The Horde. Wrong Hordak and Adora both lose their faith in The Horde after a lifetime of indoctrination into its ideals and goals. Their journey away from The Horde mirrors many young Americans' away from Christianity, with at least one notable exception: time. Deconversion takes multiple years for most ex-Christians, but only takes a few days for Adora and Wrong Hordak. Their de-conversion basically represents a speed run of most ex-Christians'.
Full Breakdown of Each Stage
(tw: mention of depression and suicidal ideation)
Tumblr media
Adora takes delight in pretending to beat up an imaginary princess in the show's first scene, and later calls princesses "violent instigators who don't even know how to control their powers." She believes in the ideals of The Horde, and feels excited to rise through the ranks to become Force Captain. Obedience to Horde authorities comes fairly naturally to her, and she even chides Catra for being "disrespectful."
Wrong Hordak consistently repeats his loyalty to Horde Prime throughout his first episode and beyond. Even while being attacked by his fellow clones, Wrong Hordak affirms that "We serve Horde Prime's will." Unprompted in the next episode he happily announces, "I believe in Horde Prime!"
I felt proud, as a kid in Sunday School, that I could answer more questions about the Bible than any of the other kids. My church's youth group was the most enjoyable part of my middle school years especially because I got to hang out with the guy I only recently realized I'd had a huge gay crush on. I started viewing "feeling happy" and "feeling the presence of God" as identical. I wrote in my 2011 "Faith Statement" for my church's Confirmation that "I fell in love with God," and that "I thank God that I was born into a good Christian family and was raised to honor God."
Tumblr media
Adora is kidnapped by the Horde's enemies and taken away from her home, separated from all of the voices reassuring her that The Horde is a good organization with a just mission. Shadow Weaver is not around to give her orders or map out her future anymore, leaving her alone with her enemies and her thoughts.
Wrong Hordak's connection to the hive-mind he knew for all of his life is severed. "I am…alone?" he asks in shock, then breaks down and cries, "I am alone!" For someone who grew up living in the same mind as his entire communal "family," suddenly losing that connection to everyone he knew would be traumatizingly shocking. The best equivalent I can think of in human experience is being suddenly ripped away from your family and community and then never seeing them again.
I kept conflating happiness with my faith in God for years, even after my crush moving away drove me into suicidal ideation for a couple weeks in 2011. My mental health recovered for a year before settling into a long-term depression in 2012. Because I conflated happiness with the presence of God, my depression felt like something had taken away the presence of God.
Tumblr media
Adora defends the organization that raised her by quoting her highest authority: "Hordak says we're doing what's best for Etheria. We're trying to make things better. More orderly." Glimmer argues against Adora's worldview by showing her (1) that princesses are just people instead of dangerous violent monsters, and (2) what The Horde has done: first the ruins of a village destroyed by The Horde, and then that the village of Thaymor which she was told to attack was peaceful, innocent, and happy.
Wrong Hordak grabs Entrapta by the hair for the crime of "trespassing," and enjoys saying, "Prime shall hear of this, and his punishment shall be merciless." But once Bow’s arrow disconnects him from the Horde’s hivemind, he is simultaneously stranded away from the people who constantly reinforced his belief in Horde Prime’s goodness and stuck with a group of people opposing Prime. For a long time, Wrong Hordak simply pretends that the Best Friend Squad™ serve Horde Prime just like everyone else he ever knew. Every line of his dialogue in “Taking Control” is a quick, snappy motto he took from Horde propaganda, like “I believe…in Horde Prime” and “True nourishment comes from the favor of Horde Prime.” [see footnote 1]
I was well aware, growing up in a progressive suburb, that plenty of my high school friends were nonreligious. After my depression sunk in, I found myself arguing about religion with a brilliant but very smug British friend who consistently refuted my arguments in ways I could not dispute. Searching for arguments to support my pre-existing beliefs, I started reading Christian apologetics, but found nothing my friends could not easily refute. [see footnote 2]
Tumblr media
Adora sees the ruins of the site of a Horde attack while with Glimmer and Bow, and at first rejects what Glimmer tells her about what she sees to preserve her worldview: "This doesn't make any sense. The Horde would never do something like this…You don't know them like I do." But when she sees The Horde attack Thaymor, the belief system painstakingly constructed by The Horde and drilled into her over 15 (or so) years comes crashing down. At first she can rationalize away her experiences to preserve her beliefs, but when the evidence of her own senses becomes overwhelming she cannot resolve the cognitive dissonance between her belief in The Horde's goodness and her direct experience of The Horde attacking the innocent town of Thaymor. Her worldview cannot explain what she experienced.
Wrong Hordak keeps his belief in Horde Prime's all-powerful nature for a long time after joining the Best Friend Squad. However, when until the Best Friend Squad catches him in a contradiction. He tells them what he was told: that Krytis does not exist. As soon as they start questioning the contradiction he was fed, he becomes extremely uncomfortable. He maintains his denial of Krytis' existence even after they land on the planet, until he can no longer deny the evidence that Horde Prime is not all-powerful.
I grew up, like many of you, on the Internet. My depression began during the heyday of the online atheist movement—and by “heyday,” I mean “seemingly inescapable presence,” especially on YouTube where I hung out. I kept running into comments asking questions that I could not answer: Why does Christianity seem to promote belief based on internal feelings instead of observable evidence? Why would an all-loving god send anyone to hell forever? Why did I believe claims from Christian doctrine and doubt claims from every other religion? Why has Christianity seemed to cling to the past instead of embracing a progressive future? The questions overwhelmed me. I found myself terrified of my own growing doubts. Eventually, my belief was based entirely on two emotions: nostalgia for past happy experiences I associated with Christianity, and a fear of losing the vague hope those experiences gave me.
Tumblr media
The first time that Bow and Glimmer met Adora, they immediately labeled her “Horde soldier!,” and the label stuck through the first three episodes. Adora has always identified herself primarily as a soldier serving The Horde, echoing the messages she has heard for her whole life: “Shadow Weaver said it didn't matter who I was before, that—that I was nothing before Hordak took me in.” The language of “I was nothing” reflects cult dynamics where a group tries to retain someone permanently by making them think of themself as nothing more than their worshipful loyalty to the group. Similarly, it is a common Christian belief that “without Jesus we are nothing.”
After realizing that Horde Prime fes him lies, Wrong Hordak collapsed into a sobbing mess. “Who am I if not an exalted brother of Prime?,” he bawled, still thinking that the only legitimate kind of identity is one based on fully devoted worship of an all-powerful authority. Per Entrapta, “It seem[ed] that Wrong Hordak has begun to question the meaning of life.” She later described Wrong Hordak’s breakdown as an “existential crisis,” which happens “when individuals question whether their lives have meaning, purpose, or value, and are negatively impacted by the contemplation.” Without an all-powerful father figure to value him, Wrong Hordak thought, who would?
I identified myself fundamentally as a Christian for my entire childhood and teen years. I found joy, purpose, and a sense of self in my religion. Leaving my religion behind felt like burning the bridge to who I was behind me. When I de-converted from Christianity, I felt like I was standing at the brink of a void. I thought that without finding goodness in God, I might find no goodness at all. [see footnote 3]
Tumblr media
When Wrong Hordak finishes (digitally, but also emotionally) processing the Krytis data logs of Horde Prime leaving in defeat, he explicitly renounces his old loyalties and declares his opposition to the organization and beliefs that he used to believe in with all his heart: "Brothers! Horde Prime lied to us. He is a false ruler. We must rise up against him, and free the universe from his unjust reign!"
After Adora betrays the Horde at the Battle of Thaymor, she pledges her loyalty to Bright Moon in her battle against the Horde: "I’ve seen for myself the atrocities the Horde has committed against the people of Etheria, and I’m ready to fight to stop them. If you give me the chance, I know I can help the Rebellion turn the tide of the war."
I didn't have an explicit declaration statement like Wrong Hordak or Adora. However, on 5/5/15 I arranged a meeting with my very friendly and understanding youth pastor as a last-ditch effort to save my faith. I hoped that he would crush my worrying doubts. Instead, actually encouraged me to become agnostic and to look into non-Christian beliefs on the subject of religion. Rather than feeling terrified of what I might find and wishing that someone could indoctrinate me into my old belief system, I started on a path to discover the truth wherever it might lead me.
Footnotes for Context
Christian fundamentalists’ similarly simplistic snappy phrases have been labeled by ex-Christians as “thought-terminating clichés… brief, highly reductive, definitive-sounding phrases” where “Simple labels are attached to something you like or dislike, and they are the start and finish of all thought on the subject.” Such black-and-white “totalistic” thinking is common in Christian fundamentalism, especially how it labels complex political topics as somehow being merely a cover for “spiritual warfare” between the totally good/Godly side and the totally evil/demonic side.
Specifically, I started reading an “Intelligent Design” propaganda apologetics book by Lee Strobel called The Case For A Creator. A self-proclaimed former atheist, Strobel wrote his The Case For series using my same research strategy: Only do research using sources that already agree with you. Whereas Strobel exclusively talked to other Christian apologists, though, I at least tried talking to atheists. Anyway, I walked into school one day with a confident smile and a copy of Strobel’s book and sat down with some friends. One of them, another brilliant atheist but with a far subtler and humbler personality, noticed it and his face immediately sunk into the expression of someone exhausted by the topic as he braced himself for my bullshit. When I confidently asserted a creationist talking point trying to dismiss the findings of some old experiment, he not only knew the experiment but immediately dismantled my talking point. I had no reply. What struck me most was not just his swift rebuttal, but his weary tone: My arguments were not only bad, but so bad that he was genuinely tired of them.
Around the same time, I became obsessed with the character of Kefka from Final Fantasy 6. To me, Kefka represented what I feared most about leaving Christianity behind — that I would lose any sense of meaning, purpose, or morality in my life. ("Life… Dreams… Hope…Where do they come from? And where are they headed? Such meaningless things!") Edgy, I know, but in my mind that kind of absurdism seemed to be an inevitable result of abandoning my religious beliefs. Fortunately, I came to understand that there is plenty of meaning, purpose, beauty, and goodness outside of the particular religion that I happened to be born into.

Whats you like so much about werewolves? What are your favorite film/series portrayals?
hello! thank you for asking me this and giving me the opportunity to gush about werewolves 🥺
so i've just generally always loved shapeshifters since i was a kid. you know when you're like 11 and you come up with your own Very Cool Fantasy Novel Stories? Mine were almost always about someone who was a shapeshifter. I'd prefer not to psychoanalyse myself and go into why i personally loved those but part of it is certainly spiritual. I am Aboriginal and grew up with my pop and other elders telling me stories about our peoples' connection to land, and animals, how in the Dreaming we come from animals and become animals, etc. and that's not unique necessarily in that many cultures have shapeshifting mythos and i've always found that to be interesting too.
in mainstream media, werewolves are the most common animal-human shapeshifter. so, of course, i love them. i think its really interesting that for white people-werewolf stories, it's almost always a curse/horror. i've always been fascinated by how werewolfness in white people is treated as an affliction and almost always written as an allegory for disease/puberty. i grew up around the idea that animal transformation was often an honour, a great power. at worse, a punishment for breaking tribal lore, but still something bestowed by the land with meaning. but for white people, werewolfness is this senseless affliction.
i don't like the way werewolves are often pitted against vampires in popular media because when this happens its often written by white people who code werewolves as a lesser race, and often literally make them poc or make it a gendered battle. an obvious example is twilight, but also mortal instruments too, the underworld movies etc. i feel like werewolf inferiority is so deeply rooted in the fact that its cultures of colour that have shapeshifter mythos, and that vampires are so associated with European history that its really hard for any kind of werewolf v vamp story to not eventually devolve into eugenics.
this is the part where i admit to never having seen 'the originals' or 'teen wolf' tv shows and people call me a fake werewolf stan but to that i say, over my dead body would i ever watch anything related to the vampire diaries. as for teen wolf show? have you heard the way fans of teen wolf talk about teen wolf? i know one day i will probably give it a go, but not today, satan. not today.
my favourite werewolf portrayals are one's that tend to focus on werewolves as characters in their own right. american werewolf in London (1981) is an absolute classic! i didn't mind the being human series, giving the werewolf a nice comedic edge. i LOVE Stephen graham jones' book 'mongrels', one of my favourite books by a Native author ever. The Hemlock Grove novel is also really fun, much better than the series. Angela Carter's retelling of Red Riding Hood in the 'the bloody chamber' anthology is [chef's kiss]. Glen Duncan's 'the last werewolf' is soooo sexy. who SAYS vamps have the monopoly on the immortal existential crisis?
the best werewolf stories are about connection to the land, about viewing the land and animals differently to humans because they’re a part of you differently. that’s why i love werewolves cos its about transformation and how transformation gives you a deeper connection to nature.
anyways!!!! i actually wanna read/watch more werewolf media so if anyone has any recs i'd love to hear them 💕

The final bell of the day rang signifying class was over. I stood up rushing out of the classroom knowing the hallways would be packed any moment with students trying to leave as well.
"Hey Molina" I heard a familiar voice call from behind me as I put my chemistry textbook in my locker. I sighed shutting my eyes. Turning around slowly.
"Carrie" I spoke through gritted teeth.
"Y/n. I just thought I'd remind you how much of a freak show you are like always"
"Thank you for that. Anything else?"
"Yeah. You should really keep your sister in check with her little hologram boy band. You know before she gets hurt" The girl said making sure to bump my shoulder as she passed by me.
I internally groaned hitting the locker behind me watching as she strutted away.
"Hey are you okay?" I heard my older sisters voice.
I turned my head to see her and her best friend rushing towards me in a panic.
"What'd that witch do to you now?"
"The same as always Flynn. Insult me bump my shoulder and walk away" I said using jazz hands to show the flatness in my excitement.
"I just don't understand why she has it out for me"
"It's all my fault y/n. I'm so sorry" Julie said as we walked out the schools front entrance.
"It's okay Jules. I'll be fine. You know I'll just continue to deal with Carrie for the rest of my high school years until you two graduate. I'll just continue let her to bully me. And I'll just continue cry myself to sleep every night because the pop princess that bullies the hell out of me also happens to be the girl I've had a crush on since my sister first brought her over the very first day of middle school"
I ranted watching my dads car pull up to the front of the school.
"We'll finish talking later" Julie said opening the front door and getting in.
"Call me if you two need anything"
"Thanks Flynn. See you later" Julie called after her best friend who walked in another direction.
"Bye Flynn!" My dad called after the girl as well.
"Mija are you gonna get in or am I just gonna hold up traffic all day"
I heard my dads voice from inside the vehicle. But my focus was on the blonde boy who had his arm wrapped around her shoulder. Her boyfriend. Clearly not wanting to be standing beside her while she chatted away with the rest of dirty candy.
"Hey get in weirdo" I sighed getting in the car, shutting the door behind me.
"What's your problem?"
"I'm not in the mood Carlos" I spoke to my little brother as we drove off.
"Ooo someone's a bit moody"
"Dad leave her alone. She's had a tough day" Julie explained.
"Nothing a little family movie night can't fix. What do you say kids?"
"I call dibs on picking the movie!" Carlos shouted before anyone else could call it.
I woke up the next morning with determination. Putting on my best outfit. Waking up extra early to do my hair. And I even put a bit more makeup than usual.
Carrie Wilson had been bullying me ever since her and Julie had that falling out and I was tired of it.
I don't know if it was the sugar adrenaline of the large amount of candy I had eaten the night before during the movie. Or if I was just that fed up with the girl but today I put an end to her once and for all.
I walked downstairs with a pep in my step. The smell of waffles hitting my nose.
"There she is my other beautiful daughter" My dad spoke handing me a plate of waffles.
"Hey dad"
"D-did you do your hair?" Julie asked as I took a seat beside her at the table.
"I did"
"Why?"
"Because my dear sister today I am a new person"
"A weird person"
"Carlos" My dad warned the boy.
"It's okay dad. Not even little Carlitos could ruin my mood today" I said pinching his cheeks.
Satisfied with his look of disgust I took a bit out of my breakfast.
"Okay who are you and what have you done with my little sister?" Julie questioned only earning a smirk from me.
"I'm only a year younger Jules but if you must know. Well your just gonna have to wait until lunch time" I spoke before continuing to eat.
Lunch time rolled around quicker than I expected. I had spent the whole morning mentally preparing myself until that bell rang.
Walking out of class I immediately spotted Julie and Flynn sitting at our usual table in the cafeteria. I smiled at them as they waved me over excitedly.
Slowly but surely I began to walk my way over to them with confidence only to be stopped by someone blocking my path.
"Well if it isn't the loner of the two Molina sisters. I mean seriously get some friends your own age y/n"
"I didn't hear you complaining before you and Julie fell out"
"Oh wow look at you. Finally sticking up for yourself" She smirked.
"And for your information I was just being nice. You were always annoying chasing after us" She spat. My heart breaking a little bit more than usual.
As if on cue Nick made his way towards us. Like many other times he tried to get Carrie to leave Julie and me alone.
But this time it was different.
I smirked at the girl in front of me taking her boyfriends hand. Pulling him close to and planting a kiss on his lips. Immediately hearing gasps from the people around me.
I pulled away watching Nicks face contort in confused daze.
And the look on Carries face was priceless. Her signature smirk was wiped off her face as her eyes glossed up.
I didn't get the chance to get a word out before I felt her grab me by the wrist and drag me away from the big scene in the middle of the cafeteria.
"Carrie let me go!" I shouted as she dragged me down the halls.
"Where are you taking me? Carrie!" I yelled as she opened an unfamiliar door shoving me inside.
Immediately assuming it was the music room. Noting all the instruments I turned back to the girl in anger.
"What are we doing here?" I asked as she shut the door behind us.
"Why would you do that?"
"Why do you think?"
"D-do you like Nick or something?"
She asked clearly ticked off.
"You think I like Nick? Seriously?" I asked as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"Well do you or not?"
"Of course I don't. I only kissed him to get back at you" I watched relief wash over her face as we stood there in silence before I spoke again.
"You know? I'm just tired of your shit Carrie. You've been bullying me since you and Julie stopped being friends. I just don't understand. We used to get along so well. Then all of a sudden you hated me" I spoke leaning against the wall.
"I don't hate you" She stated my eyes falling onto her.
She quickly made her way towards me stopping a few inches away from me.
"W-what are you doing?" I whispered watching her eyes closely to see them looking down at my.....my lips?
"Just don't say anything for a second" I bit my lip as she slowly leaned in.
Taking the opportunity I met her halfway. Our lips dancing against each other's.
The taste of her strawberry lipgloss making butterflies erupt in my stomach.
I wrapped my hand around her waist pulling her closer. Smiling into the kiss as she pushed me up against the wall behind me.
I was first to pull away seeing a pink tinge take over he cheeks. No doubt my face had a similar hue.
"Can I say something now?" I asked as she playfully rolled her eyes.
"Yes y/n"
"I like you Carrie. A lot. I've liked you since I first met you. And I know your with Nick but-"
"But I was gonna break up with him anyways. We've been having problems for a while now"
"Really?" I asked fidgeting with the ends of her cropped cardigan.
"Yes really. Look I know I've been putting up this mean front but truth is I've always had a crush on you too. I just thought you would hate me when Julie and I fell out. Especially since she's your sister. I just thought you'd side with her. So I did what I do best. I played the mean girl" She spoke her eyes glossing up.
"Hey don't feel bad. I understand everything now. I know you and my sister aren't in the best of places right now but I'm sure she's gonna support this 100% like she always has" I spoke caressing her cheek. Softly smiling as she leaning into my touch.
"You think so?"
"I know so" I smiled pecking her lips once more. A grin plastering itself on her face.
"Your so beautiful" I simpered.
"You are too Molina. You look extra beautiful today with your hair and makeup done"
"You noticed?"
"I always noticed. And though you look amazing now you look just as good with your everyday makeup look. And no makeup at all for that matter. Maybe you could show me how you to do it sometime" She suggested gazing into my eyes.
"I guess I could give my pop princess a few pointers. Though you don't really need them" I said intertwining our fingers.
"I guess I should go break up with Nick. You know before someone catches us"
"I'll be here waiting"
"You better be. We've got a lot of catching up to do"
"It seems we do" I spoke before kissing her cheek.
"Maybe you could teach me some of your dirty candy moves" I proposed as she leaned her forehead on mine.
"Or you could just join dirty candy and learn with everyone else"
"Let's get one thing straight here Wilson. You're the star. And I'm perfectly okay with being your loving supporting girlfriend from the sidelines"
"Girlfriend? I like the sound of that" She grinned.
"So do we have ourselves a deal?"
"Yeah. Just as long as I get to call you my girlfriend"
"Sounds good.....but"
"But?" She asked her smile slightly faltering.
"Can we hold off on going public for a while?"
"Why?" She pouted.
"Well it's just your gonna break up with Nick and I don't want him to think it's because of us"
"But it is because of us" She stated making me send her a pointed look.
"Fine. I'm sure he won't mind but if you wanna hold off on telling people I guess we could play the best friend card for a while. But not too long. I want to show you off to everyone"
"And you will. When the time comes" I said pulling her in for a hug.
"My house after school?" I nodded watching her remove something small from her school bag.
"Here. So you could think of me while your in class" She spoke pinning a custom made enamel pin that read Dirty Candy.
"I always think about you" I stated hearing the first bell ring.
"We should go" I said as we walked to the double door separating once we exited.
I spent rest of the school day with a smile plastered on my face excited to see my newly found girlfriend after school.

I dont have songs for ALL of my ocs but I have a few
Mason and Derrick: We Found Love by Rihanna. The overall vibe is just their relationship but its also just one of those songs where like. you hear it and your brain starts animating a thing featuring the song and those characters
Mango: Woman by Doja Cat. It's one of those songs where I can see the character singing it, but it also feels like one of those "i can do things your mind cant even begin to comprehend. I am what everyone wishes they were" songs, which is mangos kinda vibe.
Admin: Pika Girl by S3RL. This is the song where I get Admin's voice from, but it is also a rlly upbeat song with a lot goin on instrumentally, esp with it being an EDM song which is something that appeals to both mine and Admins brains.
that's bout it. I'd have other songs if I actually thought about songs that correlate with my ocs more often lmao
youtube
OHHHH SHIT I remember this song! oh lord. rihanna songs give me such nostalgia (i feel odd saying that since i'm not even that old but you get what i mean). this is so cute for them... derrick and mason.. i mush them together like a kid making their plushies kiss /j /nsx
youtube
lord. man. mango. their vibes? immaculate. you can HEAR the confidence and that's very iconic of her
youtube
ohh this scratches my adhd brain- I've only really looked at one S3RL song but this makes me wanna look at more. also its voice is so freakin cute. amazing vibes. also the lyrics are so cheesy in a good way
