(almost) fully independent at clicky and zoomy stuff

this morning i received training to use an electron microscope independently! i'm now allowed to open and close a vacuum chamber on my own and play the video game of aligning everything to make the focus better! it's honestly mostly just clicking buttons in a software and carefully sliding a door open and close lol

in the afternoon after installing all the equipment i'll need in the vacuum chamber i was allowed to operate the microscope on my own and managed to measure two samples. the other seven i'll hopefully manage in the next two days :)

having a superhero fixation and constantly clashing it with spn is extremely funny because across most (if not all) hero media there’s always some variation of great-power-great-responsibility, potential abuse of said power, blurring the lines of Good and Evil that most of the worlds are built on, internal conflicts on where you stand if you stoop low, etc, and it spans for soooo many issues (as it should, that’s not a jab) and the characters are just soooo tormented by it they may as well be in a paranormal activity movie

and then in the case of supernatural, not only do they go through all of that stuff almost routinely, but their answer to it almost every fucking time is literally the magic of family and friendship and forgiveness and having a good cry-hug with beer. in a show that was intended to be a gritty Man’s Show For Men no less.

Is it just me or does Black Spy have a hearty appetite?

Here is a compilation of Black Spy basically having a healthy appetite (usually to the point of fault):

And this last one, of course, is probably the most disturbing food related prank/trap, which I had exposed in a previous post:

Anyhow, this makes me wonder why Black has quite a bit of a healthy appetite. I mean, we all know he has fallen for food related pranks on multiple occasions, especially in a few of the strips from one of the paperbacks (specifically "The MAD Fifth Reports of Spy vs. Spy," which was later reprinted for the first portion of "Spy vs. Spy Casebook of Craziness," except for the "Spy jr vs. Spy jr" strip from right at the beginning of that same paperback book). Apparently, some say that Black may not be getting paid enough (considering that it has been shown that his boss has put him through hell on at least a few occasions; *cough*Doggie Bagged*cough*). A few might say that the dude probably just likes food, plain and simple. Both of those assumptions could be possible, especially the first one. Either way, this makes me think that there might be a possibility Black Spy could probably be a potential candidate for the Big Eater trope (at least during Prohias's era, of course), to the point of fault that is. I wouldn't really be surprised as the images I provided basically say it all, or at least most of it.
