the neodymium microcosmos or the anticipation of received forms
last week was the seventeenth anniversary of my first post in this place and after three thousand one hundred thirty-seven posts, i am pretty sure i'm still not doing it right
my kids and my girlfriend came over friday night and we drank pink lemonade tequila spritzers and ate pizza and shared this week's stories. it was a really nice night
yesterday, a cover of thirteen by big star came on the radio, and i was barely able to explain to cassidy how that song always makes me cry just before i lost my voice
last night i dreamt of quitting, i dreamt of a magazine cover with red stars on a blue field and no words, and i dreamt again of walls filled with pastel fauna absent menace or comfort
today, i am spending the day with finn and fall and they have surprises in store!
this week spans bloomsday, the solstice, the full moon, and midsummer
i'm spending next weekend in the mountains up near the gorge and my anticipation grows

Are there no online communities for people with imaginary friends and non-autonomous mental constructs?? I just want to have somewhere to go to talk about stuff ;_;
The Immersive Daydreaming communities seem to focus on stories and worldbuilding, as far as I've seen. I also can't seem to find any community places that aren't just "here's all my paracosms and paras" show and tell, when what I want is to talk about visualization tips and ideas for useful constructs and stuff.
Daemianism is a little closer, and yes I have a daemon, but nope on the headspaces and making and everything.
Tulpamancy almost sorta seems to discuss similar things. NPCs and servitors and how to make them and the experience of having them. Wonderlands/headspaces. But I'm not making tulpas, and what I've seen has been weirdly hostile about people making NPCs "to play with"??? They don't seem like they'd be very welcoming idk.
So far I've mostly just talked about it in Alterhuman spaces that include plurals + plural-adjacent stuff.

So... do you remember this woman?
Tumblr media
Well, she's Bonnie's mom, and I was hc for quite a long time how her face would look like, and after literal years of not drawing anything and painting it, the muse of art gave me energy to do THIS 👇🏼
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn't she GORGEOUS?
I really hope so, if not I'm gonna cry 🥺
Aaaaaanyway..., this was made in [Saturday, 18 of May, 2024], the same day I'm posting it <3
Ñeh... I'm gonna post the dates of any art I publish in this website, just to have a sense of order in this HELLISH MESSY place that is Tumblr
Aside from that, here is the undeniable proof that I've done this fanart myself, look how cute she looks without her hair, cranium &... brain °-°
Tumblr media
Hopefully I'll post more fanarts of whatever BRAINROT I'm currently on ♥️

[A video marked 1/2 is attached, Aventurine backs away from the camera, and walks across the battlefield from Lenora. He gives her a thumbs up, and she starts by sending out a Herdier, and Quartz, who had been sitting on Aventurine's shoulder, hops onto the field.
Both shout their commands at the same time, but the dog Pokémon is just a bit faster and hits Quartz hard with a Take Down. In return, Quartz uses Leer.
Aventurine doesn't seem fazed, and calls out, "Alright, now use Quick Attack!"
The move seems to do quite a decent amount of damage, but Lenora just grins and says, "Adelaide, Bite!"
Already weakened, the second hit manages to take Quartz out. Aventurine only smiles as he recalls the Pidove. He sends out Peridot, and tucks his left hand behind his back.
"Peridot, set up Leech Seed and Growth." Meanwhile, Adelaide manages to get in another Take Down and Retaliate, but Peridot seems to be taking them much better, especially with the help of Leech Seed.
After setting up, there's a shout of "Finish her off with Tackle!" and the Herdier faints.]

actually now that i'm thinking about it. every single video game that lets you costumize characters but doesn't let you be fat is extremely revealing to the fact that most people can't imagine fat as something a person would want to be. there's other examples but like, fuck, i can't even choose to be fat in imaginary spaces. My size isn't accommodated for because they couldn't imagine a player who wants to be anything other than skinny.
Like, you see it right. How media shapes people's beliefs, and people construct beliefs into the things they create? If all you can ever choose to be in a game is one of two body shapes, and you have to physically alter the game to be anything bigger, like. "why would i imagine a world with you in it."

Prompt: Create a concept for a movie musical about the historical figure of Sarah Winchester, particularly the endless construction of the Winchester Mystery House.
The Winchester House
Logline: Haunted by the spirits of those killed by the Winchester rifle and guided by a chilling psychic's prophecy, Sarah Winchester, widow of arms magnate William Wirt Winchester, embarks on a relentless, decades-long construction project, building a labyrinthine mansion to appease the restless ghosts and stave off their wrath.
Tagline: Endless construction, endless inspiration.
Characters:
Sarah Winchester: A complex and enigmatic woman, haunted by grief and guilt. She's strong-willed, independent, and fiercely determined to complete her mission.
William Wirt Winchester (Ghost): The spirit of Sarah's deceased husband, a restless presence that both guides and torments her.
The Spirits: A diverse ensemble of ghosts, each with their own unique story and grievances. Some are sympathetic, while others are mischievous or even malevolent.
Thomas "Tom" Reilly: A skilled carpenter and confidante to Sarah, offering practical advice and emotional support.
Marion "Daisy" Merriman: Sarah's niece and personal secretary, initially skeptical of Sarah's obsession with the mansion but gradually drawn into the mystery.
Plot Summary:
Devastated by the loss of her husband, William Wirt Winchester, and their daughter to illness, Sarah inherits a vast fortune from the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. However, she becomes convinced that she is cursed by the spirits of those killed by the rifles her family manufactured ("The Winchester Curse").
Following a chilling encounter with a psychic who predicts that the spirits will never be at peace unless the house is constantly under construction, Sarah embarks on an endless building project, adding rooms, staircases, and corridors to her mansion seemingly at random. She dismisses traditional architects, taking control of the project herself and relying on the advice of skilled carpenters like Tom Reilly ("Hammer and Nail").
Her niece, Marion "Daisy" Merriman, initially skeptical of Sarah's obsession, becomes her closest confidante and personal secretary. Daisy witnesses firsthand the strange occurrences within the mansion ("The Ghosts of Winchester"), gradually becoming drawn into the mystery and even developing a rapport with some of the resident spirits ("Second thoughts").
The mansion becomes a labyrinthine masterpiece, a testament to Sarah's ingenuity and her desperate attempts to appease the spirits. Along the way, she encounters a variety of ghostly figures: the victims of the Winchester rifle, mischievous poltergeists, and even the spirit of her deceased husband, William ("William's Whisper").
Through song and dance, we witness Sarah's journey of grief, guilt, and ultimately, a form of acceptance. She learns to coexist with the spirits, acknowledging their presence while forging her own path ("House of Shadows"). The mansion becomes a reflection of her inner world, a testament to her resilience and her unique vision.
Musical Numbers:
"The Winchester Curse": A haunting ballad expressing Sarah's grief and fear of the spirits, incorporating the psychic's chilling prophecy.
"Hammer and Nail": An upbeat, energetic number celebrating the construction of the mansion and the camaraderie between Sarah, Tom, and the carpenters.
"The Ghosts of Winchester": A spectral number featuring the diverse ensemble of ghosts, each sharing their own poignant stories.
"William's Whisper": A haunting duet between Sarah and the ghost of her husband, exploring their complex and evolving relationship.
"House of Shadows": A climactic number discussing the hypothetical grandeur and mystery of the never-to-be-completed mansion, with Sarah finally finding a sense of peace within its walls.
"Second Thoughts": A song expressing Daisy's initial skepticism and her gradual acceptance of the supernatural occurrences within the mansion.
Themes:
Grief and Loss: The film explores the profound impact of grief and the enduring power of memory.
Female Empowerment: Sarah Winchester emerges as a strong and independent woman, defying societal expectations and forging her own path.
The Power of Art and Creativity: The mansion itself becomes a work of art, a testament to Sarah's ingenuity and her unique way of coping with her trauma.
The Supernatural and the Psychological: The film delves into the blurred lines between reality and the supernatural, exploring the psychological impact of grief and guilt.

Just a random beginning to a story I thought of writing on the way home today, will definitely continue this if it gets a few likes...
30,000. How long ago was it that she used to wonder if she'd be able to make that amount on her first job. Probably not that long ago, she knew that for sure.
30,000. That's how much she made her parents lose. Every. Single. Month. Later, they'd tell her it was a miscalculation, it was actually the amount they had to spend on her as well as her brother, but it was too late now, the numbers were already engraved in her mind.
30,000. She sat down on the bed, taking out a pen from her case, and abruptly jabbed it into her hand, worse than the previous one. She stared intensely at the small blob of bright red blood, determined to do much worse.
30,000. A hand grabbed her. She understood, and dropped the pen. Didn't mean that she wasn't mad at him. "Why?" she yelled at him. His eyes widened, those same eyes she'd fallen in love with, hardly an year ago.
30,000. "Stop! Think!" he yelled back, in that soft, yet firm voice, his accent barely noticeable under all the force he put into it. "Remember the promise?" "Of course I do, " she barely managed, almost choking on her words, "I wasn't trying to do it, I swear"
30,000. "Good", he was speaker softer now, and he reached down to place his hand in hers to comfort her, their fingers intertwined. She liked that, it made her feel safe. Warm. Good. Happy. Life.
30,000. "Don't you die before having a wonderful healthy family with kids. Also, we're gonna see a Miku concert. And revisit me, remember that?" "I do" she was smiling now, her head buried in his chest as they snuggled together on her bed.
TBC... Hope you like it. Any constructive criticism is absolutely welcome. Will post more if I get at least 5 likes. Or even just one, no problems with that.
