Hello Tumblr! \o/ I'm making a post to let you know that I've released a new BL visual novel, In Fair Spirits! You can check it out on Steam here or Itchio here if you're interested! Yay! ❤

In Fair Spirits ​is a sweet and wholesome slice of life story which details the slowly developing relationship between Edmund, a knight from medieval England who finds himself reincarnated into the 21st century for... reasons, and Abel, a peppy goth boy who speaks in incomprehensible internet slang that Edmund can't understand. (I decided Abel should've used Tumblr excessively during 2013/2014, so he spent a looooot of time on this hellsite lmao As a result, he makes the odd reference here and there to Superwholock, the Once-ler fandom, RPing with randos on his dashboard, and all sorts of other things which would make somebody born more than ten centuries go wrinkle their nose and be incredibly confused sksksk Abel please stop speaking in dated memes challenge: failed) Edmund and Abel might seem like polar opposites but, surprisingly enough, they discover they have one or two things in common (it's trauma). They wind up bonding, and then... Well, this is a romance story, so lovey-dovey things happen, of course! This VN is actually the third in a series, the first being ​The Fairy's Song ​and the second being ​The Fairy's Secret​. ​In Fair Spirits ​is a direct sequel to ​The Fairy's Secret​, and it takes place around a year after the events of that story. You don't need to have read ​Fairy's Song ​or ​Fairy's Secret ​to grasp what happens here, though, as the stories of these two VNs are summed up at the beginning of the story, and are more or less irrelevant to the narrative. I hope you enjoy this VN if you do choose to check it out! I think Ed and Abel are both very cute boys (even if Abel has a lot of internalised homophobia and some pretty toxic notions about masculinity owing to A Lot Of Bullying during his teenage years ;a;), and I'd love to know what other people think about them! They are both my precious meow meows and I love them a lot, even if Abel is pretty toxic hahaha........

The whole excerpt feels like DA:V foreshadowing. Here's parts of it:

I found the quote I was trying to remember earlier:

These paragraphs have stuck with me for almost a decade. I read this article the day it came out, and it struck a chord that's still ringing, to be honest. Back then, I'd only read maybe 5 books of Discworld; this article was the first I'd heard of Good Omens.

I think of this --'do not underestimate this anger'-- literally every time I think of Terry Pratchett. I certainly thought of it when I finally did get around to Good Omens a few years later --as an audiobook, borrowed from my library. I listened for the sound of the engine.

Posting this here to remind myself to keep listening.

I can’t comprehend it when people fear monger about working with the Fair Folk. To me there are my friends and kin who sometimes help find lost stuff. Mr Stag managed to loose both his expensive headphones and his prescriptions sunglasses in the same week. Last night I finally gave up and put out sweetened milk and wine for the Folk and guess what we found today in really obvious places that I had personally checked multiple times before.

I cannot express my appreciation for my Clan. They are simply the best.

Hello everyone! I have news! \o/ I recently got around to fixing up two older commercial yuri VNs that I released a while ago, The Fairy's Song and The Fairy's Secret. A very kind reader pointed out a few typos to me across both stories, so I've updated them both. The English scripts should now (hopefully) be clean and typo-free! Yay! \o/ I also fiddled around a little bit with the UI (especially in The Fairy's Secret; there was some strange stuff going on with the UI in the main menu), and updated one of the backgrounds in The Fairy's Secret so it makes architectural sense haha If you have an urge to read a couple of visual novels documenting the developing relationship between a grumpy goth girl and a knight born centuries ago, then now would be a good time to do it! Both The Fairy's Song and The Fairy's Secret are cute, light stories with some mild fantasy elements which should be cosy reads for anybody who wants something sweet and sapphic ♡ (And I'm also working on a BL spinoff about a side character from Song/Secret called In Fair Spirits, which is wrapping up production and should be released soon.
