Many eyes were on Dimitri the entire night. Pelleas couldn't blame them; his own eyes felt as if they were naturally drawn to him, almost like a fairytale prince come to life, enchanting further with the air of the would-be Ethereal Ball.

Even from afar, what little snippets Pelleas could hear, the man seemed pleasant enough. The reasoning for his popularity beyond that became clear at one point though; through accidental (?) eavesdropping, Pelleas hears the man's name.

Dimitri Alexandre Blaidydd.

That was… one of the House Leaders, wasn't it? He could've sworn… and then it hits him.

That's his house leader…!

When Pelleas finds an opportunity, (more difficult than he would have wanted, crowds of admirers there are around the blond; he hopes none of them are looking at Pelleas too annoyed, given that he doesn't want to take up too much time either…!) he tries to approach the other young man, hand over his own chest.

“ Good evening. I'm sorry for not ever making myself known earlier, but… My name is Pelleas. I'm, erm, a student in your house… Though if you don't recognize me, that's okay, really. I know I don't make much of an impression, so it's not really your fault or anything. ”

He holds out his hand to the other.

“ But I thought I'd make myself known now, if that's alright with you. It's nice to meet you. ”

It had been a busy evening. As the Crown Prince of Faerghaus and a house leader to boot, naturally he's been popular for the whole night thus far. With his ingrained habits, Dimitri found it difficult to refuse offers for dances or walks in the garden. It could be exhausting.

He was just thinking of grabbing a drink and rest when another person approached. "Good evening" he greeted, smiling on reflex. "You are a blue lion. Yes, I recall seeing a Pelleas on the class roster. My apologies for not having come to say hello to you yet." Dimitri was slowly making his way through the students of his house; sitting with them at dinner or joining for a study/training session. Getting to know those relying on him was an important part of being a leader in his opinion.

Shaking the offer hand and feeling the sensation of another flower bead appearing on his necklace. "It's lovely to meet you too. How about we grab a drink and get to know each other a bit. I'd enjoy hearing about your evening and getting to know you a bit more"

Leading Pelleas over the the bar, he ordered some drinks and sat down, intending to have his break with the bonus of plesant conversation with a housemate.

ok so spock/kirk is like. the oldest ship ever, okay? they invented slash fiction. these guys pioneered fandom as we know it today

in the last movies they made with those original characters, they were separated into like. alternate universes. okay. these guys were never gonna see each other again and it was very sad and tragic and the fans were kinda sad about it but it is what it is.

then. they made a short film. right. like 8 minutes long. of kirk reuniting with spock. on spocks deathbed. and kirk holds his hand, and they look off into the sunset together.

they got to be reunited. they got to be together in the end. they got their romantic ending i swear to god im losing it.

if it helps. imagine if in 50 years time, they released an 8 minute video of old man dean winchester going to the empty and saving castiel and then they sat on the hood of the impala holding hands and watching the sun set. thats what its like. you see how insane that is??? do you get it???

Byleth started slightly as Harken ran up to them, apologising for their last battle. "It's not you fault, I should have reacted quicker" They reassured hime. It's true though. With their years of experience, the professor should have lasted longer. What would their father say!?! "I shall be glad to have you by my side again" Byleth told Harken "You fought valiantly and I know next time we will succeed over the enemy"
