my private school but I don't give you any context (hehe)
- Our favorite classroom is The Shed™
- God's middle name is Wilson
- Little Timmy is the resident ghost. And we love him dearly and reference him daily.
- Space issues
- Having to be in a class with a sixth grader while you are in a much older grade.
- You have much younger siblings taking the same classes as you.
- Can't do anything risky because we co-inhabit with a church.
- Having almost your entire staff quit over the summer (entire staff was like 3 people tho)
- Your principle being your english teacher
- Your history teacher also being your econ teach
- Having your teacher make you do the call-and-response claps in your high school class.
- Getting constantly infantilized by the teachers.
- Our graduating class is one (1) this year.
- We also only have one freshman.
- "What the HECKDY HECK are you FLIPPING doing?"
- No swears, nonono.
- The Shed™ being unreasonably cold
- Hank the Tank is the van that doubles as the bus.
- Having buses come pick you up for classes in the district (public) schools.
- Constantly being forgotten by said bus drivers. (Because the bus company FUCKING sucks, but not the drivers, we love them)
- We can't say Uranus, we have to pronounce it like uri-nus because apparently we're not mature enough.
- Being friends with everyone single person in the sixth to twelfth grades.
- The public school students thinking that you're homeschooled cuz no one even knows our school exists.
- Getting out in May instead of June for Summer break.
- The whole k-12 school can fit on one, normal-sized, public school bus.

When their entire relationship is toxic, but they're both so fucked up that it's actually the best case scenario, because subjecting anybody else to either of them would be a human rights violation.

guillermo del toro’s pinocchio is a beautiful film but my god no one has adapted that story like neverafter. you can never look at it the same way again after listening to lou wilson, a black man, explaining that he chose to play as pinocchio because it’s a story about a little boy who isn’t allowed to make mistakes. that in pinocchio's story, he is fundamentally barred from childhood at once upon a time. he must earn something that everyone else is granted from birth. the other boys get to tell lies and play and get into trouble, but when pinocchio does the same thing there are grave and violent consequences. his pinocchio is trying to understand why the world is so unfair, why the rules are so different for him, why everyone else gets to be a real boy.
and I think about it every day.

truly nothing about house md prepares you for wilson. he's fucking insane. he's been divorced three times. he's the only person who can scheme just as well as house. he gives a patient his own liver bc he felt bad for him - a patient who didn't even know wilson's name. btw. he noticed a patient had depression bc he never mentioned his grandkids. he starred in a porno. he dosed house with antidepressants for several weeks. he allowed his boybestie and his gf to share custody of him and didn't even try to stop it. house told him to buy a piece of furniture that represented who he was, and he bought a $4000+ organ for house. he was gonna torpedo his career to talk abt euthanasia bc one of his patients suffered longer than he had to. he let house move into his 1 bed apartment bc his therapist thought it'd be a good idea. this man would do anything for anybody if they let him. he'd fucking quit his job to save a snail off the sidewalk. bro is not normal in the slightest

Drawn in Photoshop, animated in Spine Pro. The final art piece I made for my bachelor thesis on GIF as a medium for art.
I've been researching digital art in the context of modern folk art, outside institutional or commercial art. I analysed almost 500 art GIFs across Tumblr, Artstation and GIPHY.
There's almost no academic research on art GIFs, so it was important to me to examine and document it. I also examined the optimisation of GIFs and how it relates to web sustainability.
And because the bachelor program was focused on art practice, I then created my own art GIFs, and it seemed only right that I should do it through fanart of something I've been really into lately. Thanks @samreich and the rest of Dropout for giving me some unhinged content as inspiration. Watch 'Game Changer' everyone, it's great.
