This story caught me completely off guard, but Marvel Team-Up #119 has a heartfelt story of obscure character Gargoyle helping a sad old woman and her daughter see the beauty of the world and ultimately accept the mother's death. It's a little cheesy but I found it really affecting.

Even if that weren't a TERRIBLE idea, you know, trying to kill superheroes and all I'm pretty sure that would only work on Hellcat. Valkyrie's an Asgardian and Gargoyle's...Gargoyle. Loosing poison gas on those two is more of an experiment than anything and not one that's likely to end in your favor.
